Jill: A Biography of the First Lady, written by two top journalists at the Associated Press, only sold 250 copies in its first week of release, reported the liberal news outlet Politico.
"A newly released biography about Jill Biden, by two well-respected Associated Press journalists, sold just 250 units in its first week, according to the company," said Politico on April 29.
The news outlet further reported, "NPD BookScan, which tracks book sales in the U.S., said that prominent books about [Donald] Trump released in his first two years of office outsold [Joe] Biden books during his first year and a half by, what an official there said was, 'essentially 10:1.'"
Apparently, for readers and book publishers, Trump is a far more profitable prospect than Biden.
Jill Biden, the first lady, whose husband won a historic election with reportedly 80 million votes, holds a doctorate in education from Delaware University. She has taught English in high schools and helped teens with emotional disabilities. Mrs. Biden also taught English and writing at Delaware Technical & Community College.
The first lady's biography was written by Julie Pace and Darlene Superville. Pace is an executive editor and senior vice president at the Associated Press. She won the White House Correspondents’ Association Merriman Smith Award in 2013. Superville is a long-time White House reporter for AP.
In the blurb for Jill on Amazon, it says, "Dr. Jill Biden has been described as President Joe Biden’s greatest political asset. Like many women of her generation, she holds her commitments as wife, mother and grandmother at the center of her life. ... She broke barriers as First Lady as the first to hold a paying job outside the White House. 'Jill' is the story of this accomplished American woman."
USA Today said of the biography, “Associated Press journalists Pace and Superville offer a deep dive into the personal and political life of first lady Jill Biden in this deeply reported biography of the woman who holds the Biden family together.”
Booklist said Jill "is a satisfying, enlightening profile of a talented woman redefining the role of First Lady."

Schweizer: Independent Counsel Needed to Investigate Hunter Biden
In an interview set to air on Sunday’s broadcast of Fox News Channel’s “Life, Liberty & Levin,” Breitbart News senior contributor and Government Accountability Institute president Peter Schweizer said an independent counsel would be required to investigate Hunter Biden’s financial dealings given the potential conflict of interest for his father, President Joe Biden.
Schweizer, the author of Red-Handed: How American Elites Get Rich Helping China Win, also warned the case could be settled outside of court without public knowledge.
“This is a tailor-made case for an independent counsel,” Schweizer said. “It’s an investigation involving the family of the president. The attorney general is, of course, appointed by the president. And he’s the one who’s going to direct this U.S. attorney that has this grand jury in Delaware — so you need an independent counsel.”
“There is lots of evidence … some of that money ended up with Joe Biden,” he added. “The money was fungible. It moved around. It went to James Biden and others.”
Schweizer also told FNC host Mark Levin the investigation might find opposition from Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) because of the business interests that McConnell and his wife, former Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao, have abroad.

Biden should be thankful for the media, but it has nothing to do with the truth or protecting democracy
President Biden was thankful for the media during the White House Correspondents Dinner.
From an AP article:
While the majority of the speech was filled with cutting jabs, Biden did make note of the important role journalism plays in American democracy, especially in the last decade.
"I mean this from the bottom of my heart, that you, the free press, more than you ever did in the last century" he said: " you are the guardians of the truth:
The President and his party should be happy with the press, but it has nothing to do with them being the guardians of the truth or protecting democracy.

They still intentionally hide the truth of the depth and breadth of the corruption from the public because they know Biden's and other Democrats’ poll numbers would be much worse if the public knew the truth. .
For the four years before the 2020 election, they also intentionally lied about Russian collusion and repeatedly called Trump an illegitimate president. They still bury most of what Durham has found about the deep corruption of the government and Hillary.
Much of what most of the media reports has anything to do with the truth or protecting democracy. It has everything to do with maintaining and getting more power for Democrats.
It is the media that is the greatest existential threat to our freedom, prosperity and survival as a great country, not challenging election results or anything to do with fossil fuels.
Isn't it time that journalists started doing their jobs instead of acting like talking sock puppets?
