Mark Kelly Says Lawmakers Shouldn’t Use Their Offices for Profit. He May Have Done Just That.
Sen. Mark Kelly (D., Ariz.) says he wants to stop lawmakers from exploiting their office for personal gain. But his investment in an aerospace company awarded a lucrative Pentagon contract is the kind of conflict of interest he’s claimed to oppose.
Kelly owns as much as $250,000 in non-public stock in Boom Technology, according to his most recent financial disclosure. The former astronaut served on Boom’s board of advisers until 2019 and had up to $50,000 in stock options in the company that expired in February. In January, Boom Technology announced a strategic partnership with the Air Force worth up to $60 million, one of the military branch’s "largest investments" into research of supersonic aviation. The three-year partnership marked a "substantial increase" over an Air Force contract with Boom Technology from 2020, before Kelly entered the Senate.
Kelly’s stake in Boom poses a potential conflict of interest because of his position on the Senate Armed Services Committee, which oversees the Pentagon’s budget. He is also on the Airland Subcommittee, which has oversight of the Air Force’s research budget. Kelly has introduced multiple bills to prohibit members of Congress from profiting off their office, including bans on lawmakers from trading stocks and receiving campaign contributions from corporate PACs. Kelly, who has said he wants to "root out corruption and increase transparency in Washington," exercised stock options in Boom Technology in April 2021.
Kelly placed his assets in a blind trust in July 2021 to ensure "transparency and accountability." He has since proposed legislation to require all members of Congress to do the same. But other lawmakers have cast doubt on the practicality of blind trusts to curb conflicts of interests. "You know what you put in, so it’s not really blind," said Rep. Zoe Lofgren (D., Calif.).
Asked for comment, Kelly’s office denied his investments pose a conflict of interest, saying that senators and congressional committees do not award contracts to individual companies. But Boom Technology lobbies the Senate on defense appropriations and noise pollution, the main hurdle to commercially viable supersonic flight. The federal government banned supersonic commercial flight in the 1970s because of the "sonic boom" airplanes emit when flying faster than the speed of sound. Boom Technology and its competitors claim they can drastically reduce the noise pollution in their airplanes.
As a Boom adviser, Kelly helped the company land one of its earliest commercial wins. According to Boom CEO Blake Scholl, Kelly arranged a key meeting between the company and his friend, Virgin Galactic founder Richard Branson. The billionaire later pledged to buy 10 of Boom’s supersonic planes. Emerson Collective, the investment firm founded by Apple heiress Laurene Powell Jobs, is also a major investor in Boom. The Apple heiress gave maximum campaign contributions to Kelly in 2019 and 2021.
Boom has touted its technology for potential use by the American military, but the company has also worked with Chinese companies to "bring supersonic flight to China," the Washington Free Beacon has reported.
Kelly has faced scrutiny before over his business dealings. He cofounded a space tourism company, World View Enterprises, that partnered with Tencent, a Chinese technology behemoth that helps Beijing censor the Internet.

It’s not just AOC’s handcuffs. Joe Biden has his fake Oval Office that they send him to. I don’t think he knows that it’s fake. And we even have the fake January 6 Committee. But AOC has become a master in this performance art, whether it’s the phony weeping at the border, or the imagined trauma on January 6, or this event now where she’s trying to be this martyred social justice warrior. But at least she wasn’t alone. Even Ilhan Omar pretended that she had been fake-handcuffed.
“So, I guess I’m less wondering — like, on a day when AOC and Ilhan Omar getting the white glove treatment from the police, with only these invisible, imaginary handcuffs, you got Steve Bannon on trial,” Gaetz continued. “Peter Navarro got leg-shackled. Where’s all this white privilege I have been hearing about?”

Dick Morris: Hillary Clinton Will Run Against Trump in 2024
Former Bill Clinton adviser Dick Morris predicted Tuesday on Newsmax TV’s “National Report” that former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton would run against former President Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential race.
When asked if Trump will run in 2024, Morris said, “Yes, and he’ll be the Republican nominee. He will probably get it by acclamation. I don’t think there’ll be a primary. He will win the election. And his opponent is going to be Hillary Clinton.”
He continued, “Let me explain that. Already the Democrats are pressuring by not to run because they see what a disaster he would be. And Harris is no better. And I think Hillary will win that contest. I think she and Trump will face it off, and I think Trump is going to win handily.”

One topic that Hillary is quick to criticize President Trump on is his relationship with Saudia Arabia. It’s ironic given the Clinton Foundation’s refusal to state that they will no longer accept financial donations from The Kingdom as others have.
But the Clinton Foundation, to which donations declined dramatically after Clinton’s 2016 defeat, has taken multi-million dollar contributions from Saudi Arabia in the past and isn’t ruling out continuing to accept them.
The Clinton Foundation accepted between $10 and $25 million from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with donations coming as late as 2014. A now-defunct group named “Friends of Saudi Arabia,” which was reportedly co-founded by a Saudi Prince and often worked as a PR front for the kingdom, also donated between $1 and $5 million.
Qatar's longstanding efforts to buy influence in the United States have, quite unsurprisingly, included substantial donations to the Clinton Foundation. In 2011, for example, the foundation accepted a $1 million gift from Qatar in honor of former president Bill Clinton's 65th birthday. Hillary was serving as secretary of state at the time, but failed to disclose the massive donation to the State Department despite her pledge to keep the agency apprised of the foundation's foreign donors.
How the Clinton campaign fooled the FBI
In 2016 Hillary Clinton tweeted that "Computer scientists have apparently uncovered a covert server linking the Trump Organization to a Russian-based bank."
Michael Sussman was tried and acquitted for lying to the FBI when he provided evidence of this communication while claiming he was not associated with the Clinton campaign. The computer scientists associated with the Clinton campaign did not uncover the communication between the Trump Organization and the Alpha Bank, they created it.
Here is how it can be done:
Assume I am working for an IT department that manages its own DNS (Domain Name Service) and mail servers (Running Linux). If not, I can lease a server with a block of IP addresses and configure it with two DNS servers and a mail server. Now I remotely login to the mail server (or the leased server) and issue the following command (since these are real addresses, we’re using asterisks):

This will send a message from DonJr@tr***.org to contact@alfabank.** with the subject "The Trump Organization" and message "Test from tr**.org". You can also find actual contact addresses on the Alfa Bank website.
When the command is issued, among other things, the Alfa Bank mail server will contact one of its DNS servers, which will contact my DNS server, to check if the hostname of my mail server matches the mail server's IP address. This will leave a nice thumbprint of the Alfa Bank DNS server in my DNS logs.
More importantly, the Alfa Bank DNS server will contact the trump.org DNS server to query if my mail server is authorized to send mail for the trump.org domain. (Which, of course, it is not.) This is bona fide “covert” communication between the Russian bank and the Trump Organization server, and will leave a nice entry in the trump.org DNS logs. Since my mail server is not authorized to send mail for trump.org, the Alfabank server will close the connection and not accept the message. Nobody except me will know this ever happened.
Now I can set up a CRON job on my Linux mail server to send these messages automatically at any day or time. I can also edit my DNS logs using the Alfa Bank's thumbprint, and show it to the FBI claiming it was taken from the Trump Organization server. Apparently, the CIA reviewed the logs and determined that they were more likely user generated than machine generated. A nothingburger.

Secretary Hillary Clinton and the Deep State: A RICO Criminal Conspiracy

We who elected President Trump understood our elected officials and the Deep State were sandbagging Trump and self-dealing public funds. It was no secret that President Trump is no angel, unpresidential, blunt, and crude, and a disruptor. Trump was hired to drain the swamp.
I watched this kabuki theater unfold over the last several years. Through my eyes as a shopworn gumshoe, I will explain what is happening. My investigative curiosity was first piqued by the ATF Fast and Furious scandal and continues through the recent House impeachment show trial. There is a common element running through all of these cons — the actions of an organized crime conspiracy. A group of people either acting alone or in concert with others committed crimes with a common purpose - a criminal enterprise as described in "CRIMINAL RICO: 18 USC. §§1961-1968 A Manual For Federal Prosecutors."
The players acted together – in the usurpation of power, the abuse of power by public officials, bribery, thefts by fraud including federal funds, money laundering, perjury and the obstruction of justice, the violations of fundamental of civil rights, aided and abetted in the commission of these crimes and or to conceal these crimes. Criminals will lie and can't keep their lies straight. Their methods and behaviors are the same, whether engaging in street crimes or elaborate white-collar financial schemes. The only difference is when more money is involved, the perps are more adept in concealing, covering up their sins, and hiding where the money went. Many of these scandals are well known to the American Thinker readers. I will focus my comments on Hillary's home brew sever and the Clinton Foundation as an example of how RICO can be used to prosecute the players.
FBI Director James Comey indicted Hillary Clinton for her home brew server at his press conference. Comey then egregiously concluded that there was no evidence of criminal intent purportedly “required” to prosecute. Comey bastardized the Federal Espionage Act in absolving Hillary Clinton. FBI's investigation of Clinton's emails was low-balled. There was never a real search for the truth. The outcome was preordained. My jaw dropped wide open. I knew the fix was in. FBI Director Comey lied to the people with a straight face. Why?
The chance meeting of Bill Clinton and AG Loretta Lynch on the airport tarmac was no mere coincidence. This chat was not about the grandkids. Bill Clinton was there to convey a specific message to Lynch that there would be no indictment of Hillary. Hillary Clinton's email case must tank. This would have constituted bribery, if AG Lynch was assured she would continue as AG in Clinton Administration. This meeting took place only weeks before Comey's press conference dumping Hillary Clinton's email case.
The Deep State needed Hillary Clinton to win the 2016 presidential election, or the dike holding back the truth would burst. Trump, the disruptor, was an immediate threat to both the Republicans, Democrats, and the Deep State. If the truth were laid bare, it would expose the Obama Administration, Hillary Clinton, the Senate and House, and many executive departments for these abuses of power, corruption, bribery, frauds, and thefts of public funds.
High-level government officials and the Deep State committed many serious felonies either in furtherance of or to conceal the crimes committed in the pay to play scam. In exchange for favorable consideration by Secretary Clinton, those who benefited would donate to the Clinton Foundation. The FBI started and stopped investigations into the Clinton Foundation at least twice as reported by the Washington Post. Peter Schweizer's book, Clinton Cash, is the most damning. Dinesh D'Souza slammed the Foundation in the National Review, as did The Federalist.
The status of the investigation of the Foundation by US Attorney John Huber's is unknown. Rudy Giuliani said there was enough to pursue "Clinton Inc" as racketeering under RICO. The Foundation and its affiliated nonprofits require a real investigation with an in-depth forensic audit to determine where the money went. In financial crimes investigation, the prime rule is "follow the money, honey." Illicit nonprofits have many ways to divert funds by inflating salaries, expenses, and money laundering.
Illegal nonprofit schemes are difficult to prosecute without hard evidence and the testimony of insiders. The motive of Hillary Clinton's use of the home brew server was to conceal emails from FOIA requests that would provide the hard evidence. Hillary Clinton destroyed the data on her server and cell phones with the knowledge of the FBI. It took years for Judicial Watch and others to pry and recover some of these damning emails from the foot-dragging executive departments that were complicit and knew what was going on.
RICO initially was used to target mob families. RICO is also a useful tool to fight white collar conspiracies. They both have the same hierarchy of low-level crooks led by the top players, linked together with a common purpose. RICO has tools to squeeze the low-level operatives to gather evidence to prosecute, jail, and seize assets of the conspirators. The critical element required is a pattern of criminal or racketeering activity. This pattern is proved by showing two predicate crimes were committed within ten years. The list of predicate crimes is extensive and includes bribery, embezzlement, fraud, theft, money laundering, and obstruction of justice. The typical five-year statute of limitations for most federal felonies is extended to ten years from the last criminal act or acts committed to conceal the conspiracy, i.e., lying under oath and similar actions to obstruct justice. The prison sentences are steep. The effect is to cut off the head of the organization and not just the low-level players.
The criminal activity extends back to the ATF's Fast and Furious program through the House impeachment show trial to cover up the illegal acts of the Obama Administration, Hillary Clinton, the Department of State, the DOJ, the FBI, and the CIA. A telltale sign that the DOJ under US Attorney General Barr is willing to play hardball and may use RICO, came when he spoke to the Federalist Society: "Barr accuses liberal 'resistance' of trying to 'sabotage' Trump." AG Barr said this, "shows FBI launched Trump campaign investigation on the 'thinnest of suspicions." AG Barr is the new sheriff in town, he wears a badge, has guns and will travel, can impanel grand juries, indict and arrest people, and is not limited in his jurisdiction, like DOJ IG Horowitz.
The collective actions of the Deep State are and were a silent coup to delegitimize a Presidential candidate. Once elected to impede and resist the duly elected President. The President's law enforcement and intel agencies were corrupted at the highest level and went rogue.
Organized crime can't exist without corrupt law enforcement. As I wrote in a letter to President Trump earlier this year:
. . . I believe you understand the gravity of the situation and of its importance to the very survival of our Country as we know it. If the people involved are not held accountable for their actions, we will be no different than some Third World Banana Republic.
Failure to act will destroy our founding principle of the Rule of Law as stated by President John Adams, "We Are a Nation of Laws, Not of Men" and we cannot allow a two-tiered justice system to prevail.
