A Figurehead Fiddles While America Burns
Joe Biden has ruled against the will of the people for almost two years as a straw boss who has earned the title of capo di tutti capo of human traffickers. Often exceeding his constitutional authority to circumvent congressional lawmaking, he has brought insufferable hardship to the lives of millions of illegal aliens, not to mention the deterioration of America’s southwestern border towns and urban destinations.
Taking Democrat mayors and governors to task for their all-talk sanctuary policies, Republican border governors are busing willing migrants to Democrat strongholds. In the liberal bastion of Martha’s Vineyard, where visitors arrive only by plane or boat, the arrival of fifty illegal border crossers by charter airline from Florida immediately became the rage at patio fundraisers, caused the chatty Obamas to fall silent, prompted the National Guard to mobilize, and precipitated a crisis not seen since Edgartown ran out of men’s pastels.
In September, the tourists are mostly gone from Oak Bluffs and Vineyard Haven. Even the mosquitoes have fled south to better bloodletting, slowly slimming the island population from a summer high of almost 200,000 down to its fighting weight of 17,000 fulltime residents. At season’s end, the island abounds with vacant hotel rooms, houses, and apartment rentals, yet it took only fifty migrants from South America to overwhelm the well-publicized hospitality of the Vineyarders, who promptly relocated them to the less bothersome setting of a military base.
It is customary for White House power brokers to go astray of their promises using Biden as a mouthpiece. White House advisors are locked into an ideology that firmly believes we can win the world over by putting flowers in military gun barrels, eliminating our carbon footprint is worth throwing the country against the rocks, and defying fundamental economic theory with spending sprees to reduce inflation. Their idealism puts America at risk with its adversaries and cuts America down to size by hogtying the middle class and bringing us all to accept taxing climate change policies that serve as a Trojan Horse for the attainment of singular government authority and power.
A recent White House garden party offers but one example. The late, great Ricky Nelson would have been better entertainment, belting out his last Top 40 hit for guests chauffeured to the South Lawn. Hidden behind his tinted-out Qaddafi shades, amidst the colorful crudité platters and backslapping of the world’s greatest gas guzzlers, Biden ambled up to the lectern with a wobbly gait characteristic of the cognitive progression of dementia, to once again wax in obedience to the teleprompter. As the stock market was simultaneously tanking from another disastrous consumer price index, he celebrated the Inflation Reduction Act, the latest misnamed law that will not reduce inflation while bringing even lower the economic welfare of all Americans. The attendant neo-Marxists could hardly contain their glee. Ruining the economic welfare of Americans is often dressed up as legislative victories for Democrats.
Days later, as keynote at a summit devoted to reducing hate and political division, Biden once again harped on his favored bogeymen of domestic terror -- white supremacists -- as the singular threat to democracy. Citing as an example the 2016 shooting at Orlando’s Pulse Night Club, the congregants were presumed ignorant of the fact that the shooter, Omar Mateen, was the son of Afghan emigrants and a practicing Muslim who had pledged allegiance to the Islamic State (ISIS) and was twice a target of the Miami and Tampa divisions of the FBI for his radicalized language, threats of violence, and suspicious foreign travel to the Middle East.
We’ve come to expect such misdirection and outright lies from Biden during impromptu moments, but the rolling script before him represented a deliberate alteration of reality by West Wing custodians. Not allowing inconvenient truths to take political leverage away from a massacre, they gave the Islamist jihad a makeover as an anti-gay, white example of what evil can come from legal gun ownership.
Of all the plots and intrigues of the Biden administration, energy policy takes center stage. A national security asset, the nation’s Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) is a rainy day remedy for crises such as the 1973 OPEC oil crisis, weather disasters, and other energy supply challenges. Releasing oil from the SPR requires executive authority and there is an expectation that presidents won’t play paddy fingers with the stockpile for political purposes.
When Biden went hard green, cutting domestic oil production and driving gas prices over five dollars a gallon, the SPR became the trump card to drive pump prices back down in time for the midterm elections. Demonizing oil companies for the impact of their own regulations, the White House greenlighted the release of 180 million barrels over six months, draining the Reserve to a thirty-year low. Tens of millions of barrels were sold overseas, some to a Chinese oil producer with business ties to Hunter Biden.
Biden has pledged to restock the SPR when the market price falls to eighty dollars a barrel, an unlikely drop from its current ninety-four dollars thanks to recent Saudi production cuts. That’s almost sixty dollars more a barrel than President Donald Trump’s early 2020 efforts to leverage plummeting oil prices to top off the four Reserve sites. Trump’s plan was shot down by Chuck Schumer in order to dump billions into COVID stimulus checks that would do more to buy votes than offer needy families long-term relief.
For the administration, filling the caverns of the Reserve means less oil on the street. Prices will once again increase, but not until after the midterms when it will become a problem for a Republican majority. Should the Democrats hang onto power, they simply won’t care about skyrocketing pump prices that attract more consumers to renewable sources of energy.
A recent article in the National Review, a time-honored publication that has long since stepped out of the shadow of William F. Buckley, Jr. by offering a sounding board to smart neocons, RINOs, and NeverTrumpers, foreshadowed the consequences of a sweeping Democrat victory in the midterms. Despite that improbability, particularly in the House, it is an alarm sounding that should scare the living daylights out of every voter.
According to the article, if a shift in political fortune increases the Senate Democrat majority by just two-seats to fifty-two, it would neutralize the stubbornness of party moderates Joe Manchin and Krysten Sinema. Kamala Harris has admitted as much. The aftermath would be calamitous for the Republican party if Schumer and Harris convinced the majority to eliminate the filibuster rule requiring sixty votes to end legislative debate. Revived legislation could nationalize and reshape elections to Democrat vantage. Billions more would fill the coffers of pet climate projects. Codifying abortions would lift all restrictions, and the threat of a hostile Supreme Court eliminated by adding liberal jurists. To hedge against the possibility of the gavel changing hands in 2024, statehood might be granted to Puerto Rico, putting an additional two seats in the Democrat column. Similar efforts for the District of Columbia, a federal enclave, would require a constitutional amendment. With this level of uniparty authoritarianism, America would begin to resemble a Second World country, closer in policy and practice to the Sino-Soviet axis than any likeness to a representative democracy.
The timing of recent statements by Mitch McConnell and Lindsey Graham over the quality of Republican senatorial candidates and the highly contested issue of abortion, respectively, doesn’t help the Republican bench of candidates. With the latest generic poll tightening to a toss-up for Senate majority, it leads many rank and file conservatives to wonder if some Senate Republicans would rather yield power than risk the prospect of a second Trump presidency.

Michael Savage: Biden ‘Worst’ President in My Lifetime, Administration Unrivaled in ‘Evil, Corruption’
Reflecting on the country’s last 15 presidencies, from Franklin D. Roosevelt to Joe Biden, conservative radio legend Michael Savage argued that Biden is the “worst” president to lead the country during his lifetime, claiming a “criminal enterprise [is] running the country,” while highlighting the current border crisis, the recent Afghanistan withdrawal, the return to energy dependence, and the “authoritarian” COVID-19 mandate.
Detailing “the good, the bad, and the ugly” aspects of the presidents who ruled America over the last several decades, Savage weighed in on today’s issues during his latest podcast.
Having been born in 1942, when Roosevelt was president, Savage claimed “we are now living under another Democrat President called Joseph Biden, who is not really a president in any sense of the word.”
Arguing the way to objectively judge a president is by his “domestic and worldly successes and failures,” Savage explained why it was up to the individual to decide if the president met these standards.
“With a very small cadre of extreme far-left or Marxist-light so-called presidential historians as the only source to answer our question, we really have to rely upon our own observed realities,” he said.
“We can’t rely upon so-called presidential historians — they’re all part and parcel of the same machine that’s destroying this country,” he added. “They’re of the far-left variety, the socialist variety, the Marxist variety.”
For example, he noted, “almost all Americans would say they respect and love” John F. Kennedy, the 35th president of the United States.
“Is this a product of a sort of mass hypnosis? Media propaganda? Or his actualities?” he asked. “Likewise, in reverse, most knowledgeable Americans know that Jimmy Carter was an abject failure.”
“Both domestically and on the international stage, Carter was a disaster for this country,” he added.
Open Borders
According to Savage, we are currently “living with a presidency that seems to be a foreign power dominating this country rather than an actual presidency in a party of the United States of America,” especially considering this administration has “welcomed 4 million illegal aliens” from South and Central America, Africa, and the Middle East, “almost all of whom have not been vetted for terrorist ties, for diseases… nor for plain old criminal activities such as smuggling drugs.”
As a result, he added, one can conclude “that when they’re bringing in a population larger than that of some states, we have a criminal enterprise running the country.”
Though Savage admitted there have been other presidents “who were weak, like Jimmy Carter,” or “whose loyalties were questionable, such as Barack Obama,” and yet others “who may have been as corrupt as Joseph Biden,” the country has never “had a package of such evil and corruption as we currently have.”
Savage accused Biden of creating “the worst border crisis in American history.”
“He has literally melted down our border with Mexico,” he said. “Four million illegal aliens have not only come in, but have been invited in.”
“That’s larger than some states,” he added, as he pointed to the fact that many are “diseased,” “criminals,” or “drug carriers,” often appearing as “gang members.”
Noting the problem “isn’t abating,” Savage accused the media of turning US Border Patrol agents into “dummies.”
“They’re made into the enemy of America instead of the guardians of America,” he lamented.
Afghanistan Withdrawal
He called attention to Biden’s actions in Afghanistan, which he urged Americans to “never forget.”
“A shamble of a withdrawal from Afghanistan, [it is] one of the low points of his presidency and one of the lowest points of American foreign policy since the fall of Saigon at the end of the Vietnam War,” he said. “He left $175 billion of military equipment picked up by Islamic radicals.”
In addition, Savage stated, the Biden administration “assured the country that the withdrawal would be orderly and the Afghanistan government was stable upon America’s departure.”
Calling it a “massive failure of intelligence” after the Afghan government collapsed and the radical Taliban took over the country in just weeks, Savage also detailed how Biden “abandoned our Afghani partners,” and armed terrorists.
“He gave equipment to the Taliban and other Islamic radicals — American equipment — they’re now wearing American uniforms and driving around in American Humvees,” he said.
Energy Dependence
Savage also accused Biden of “taking us back to energy dependence.”
Though during the Trump presidency, the US “became a net exporter of oil for the first time in 75 years,” according to Savage, the “psychos in the Biden administration took away this strategy.”
“Instead, these sickos encourage an increase in green energy at the expense of fossil fuels and good clean nuclear energy,” he said.
“These renewable energy zealots are a long way from meeting global energy needs, and Biden put more regulatory burdens on the oil and natural gas industry slowing its production considerably,” he added.
Most importantly, Savage argued, “the nutcases in the Biden administration shut down the Keystone XL pipeline project to move oil from Canada to the United States while effectively greenlighting the financing of Russia’s Nord Stream 2 pipeline to carry natural gas to Germany.”
Domestic Threat
Addressing the “disaster of the Joe Biden presidency,” of which “we’re only halfway through,” Savage insisted “our country is facing an existential threat, where an enemy within has finally shown its face, and it’s nakedly saying it wants to destroy and intimidate its way into a transformed state and nation, a transformed nation that we cannot recognize.”
He also compared the Biden administration to a “radical vigilante woke mob that knocks down and steamrolls anything and anyone that gets in their way:”
They attack the American way in a clear and intensifying manner. They stifle dissent. They’re using the FBI as a personal Gestapo. They publicly shame parents who stand up to the perverse agendas of the radical, perverse left. They encouraged the violence of Antifa and Black Lives Matter. They perverted, distorted the realities of our great history, not only tearing down monuments and buildings, but tearing down the American spirit itself.
Savage then accused the current administration of encouraging the “mobs of wokesters” to “go after the family unit, go after parental rights, go after the traditional moral values, tear down the meaning of the church, [and] tear down fact-based education.”
“We’re all watching as this evil group tries to brainwash our young babies into thinking we live in an evil, racist, irredeemable nation,” he said.
The Biden administration, Savage argued, has “denied science and data.”
“They say that a boy is a girl and a girl is a boy if they say they are such.”
In addition, “they trample over personal liberties that are enshrined in the Constitution, throwing teachers out of jobs who refuse to bend their knee to their perverse agenda,” he continued. “They take to the streets like criminals, burning, looting and destroying everything in sight while we are told by the vermin in the media that these are mostly peaceful and passionate protests.”
Big Tech and Media
Savage also called out “big tech moguls in Silicon Valley” as “the only arbiters of truth, deciding who gets to speak and who gets silenced through the digital public squares that they own.”
“We watch the legacy media muffle legitimately verifiable news stories that do not align with their preferred narrative, only to see the truth seep out months later at a more politically expedient time,” he said.
“The enemy within has taken over media,” he added.
Noting that “corporate boards, professional sports, foundations, [and] professional institutions have steamrolled and left no corner of our lives untouched,” Savage suggested what could be done in response.
“The first thing to do is have knowledge of what the enemy within is doing to us,” he proposed. “Only by knowing what they’re doing to us can we stand up to defeat their false pretenses and predetermined narratives and false promises.”
As a result, Savage argued, “we must know more about Biden than we already know,” as he ripped the media for its portrayal of the “disaster” taking place at the southern border.
“The security at the southern border is an ongoing disaster, given almost no coverage by the worthless stooges in the legacy media,” he said. “The Jake Tappers, the Wolf Blitzers; they are nothing but mouthpieces for a Stalinist regime.”
“The massive spike in border crossings [was] initially excused by the Biden allies in the media as a ‘seasonal problem,’” he added. “Yeah, well, it was really ‘seasonal.’ It was called ‘open borders’ season.”
COVID-19
Savage then slammed the Biden administration’s “authoritarian COVID-19 mandates” whereby “private employers and other organizations with over 100 [or] more employees [were] to enforce a vaccine mandate, despite [Biden] saying that he didn’t think it was exactly constitutional.”
“This liar tried to turn us all into guinea pigs for this unproven vaccine, not really tested except on a massive population,” he added. “And we still do not know what the long-term effects of this vaccine are.”
Crime
In addition, Biden’s presidency has seen “an explosion of violent crime” that began in the summer of 2020, Savage stated, in a trend that was “exacerbated by the Democrat-controlled media tied in with the ‘defund the police’ movement.”
“In fact, because many Democrat-run cities made good on this slogan by defunding their police departments and stemming the use of proactive policing, the criminals are running wild in the streets: rapes, murders, beatings, robberies, break-ins,” he said.
“Cities that defunded police agencies make the list of places with the largest increases in violent crime,” he added.
However, Savage noted that now “these so-called city leaders are changing their tune and restoring police funding after much of the damage has been done, but it will never be good again because not only have the police been defunded, they have been demoralized.”
“They’ve been turned into the bad guys instead of the good guys,” he added. “How many times over the years did I tell you that the thin blue line was the only thing standing between us and total and absolute anarchy? I was right.”
Economy & Ukraine
On the economy, Savage noted today’s rising inflation as he called out the president for having said inflation would be a “temporary problem” his administration had a handle on.
“Right now we have unchecked inflation,” he said. “And they can’t control it because they’re printing money, and they’re spending money on a foreign war that nobody voted for.”
Savage blamed President Biden for having “dragged us into a proxy war against Russia.”
“We all want to see poor little Ukraine survive. We all don’t like the evil wolf or the big bear of Russia. But putting aside what we like and don’t like, it’s not our business,” he said.
“Putting aside the fact that he’s sending our military equipment and billions and billions of our money, billions and billions of our tax dollars, to Ukraine,” Savage continued, “how much of it is being tracked?”
“How do you know how much of this money isn’t going into the pockets of the corrupt officials in Ukraine? How much of it is being kicked back to Democrat officials in America? Do we know?” he asked.
Trump Supporters
However, “worst of all,” Savage argued, is that President Biden “attacked Trump supporters.”
“He called those of us who support Donald Trump a threat to democracy. He used U.S. Marines as political props during [his] September 1 Mussolini speech in Philadelphia,” he said. “The president said ‘We’re not bystanders in this ongoing attack on democracy. There are far more Americans from every background and belief that reject the extreme MAGA ideology than those that accept it.’”
Addressing the president, Savage asserted that “most Americans accept the MAGA ideology.”
“What does it really stand for? It stands for ‘America First,’” he said.
“That’s not a good thing, Biden?” he asked. “It stands for borders, language and culture. That’s not American, Mr. Biden? Which side are you on, Mr. Biden?”
Savage concluded by stating that “some of us can see the future, some of us can see around corners.”
“I hope you understand,” he said. “I’m one of those.”
Last month, following the FBI raid on former President Trump’s estate, Savage accused the Biden administration of having brought a “nightmare” upon America as it “dragged us into the Dark Ages” and “raped half the nation,” as he slammed hypocritical “liberals” for “cheering” on “fascism.”

Tucker Carlson exposes the totalitarian Biden regime

Since its inauguration, the Biden administration has displayed its absolute contempt for freedom and democracy.
Some examples:
The January 6 probe's sole function is to prevent President Trump from running in 2024. Parents who opposed the teaching of Critical Race Theory to young children were branded as domestic terrorists. The Disinformation Governance Board's function is to intimidate citizens from freely expressing themselves. Biden recently called Trump supporters "the most extreme political organization that's existed in recent American history."
The Democrat government-ordered vaccine and mask mandates encroached upon freedom of choice and lockdowns that restricted the movement of citizens.
But beyond these overarching anti-Democratic acts, the Biden administration has also baselessly targeted specific political opponents.
Tucker Carlson reminded his viewers of political opponents who have been targeted since Biden’s inauguration in his monologue yesterday.
The following is the gist of what Carlson referred to:
On Jan. 27, 2021, days after Biden's inauguration, the Justice Department arrested Douglass Mackey, known online as Ricky Vaughn for creating Internet memes that made fun of Hillary Clinton.
On Feb. 3, 2021, the FBI raided the homes of Russell Taylor and Alan Hostetter for organized a lawful political rally on January 6 for which they had a permit.
On April 28, 2021, the FBI seized the cell phones and computers belonging to Trump’s former lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, despite not charging him. This was a violation of client-attorney privilege
On June 24, 2021, the FBI raided the home of a Giuliani associate, George Dixon who was working on a documentary about Joe Biden, Hunter Biden, and their shady business dealings in Ukraine.
On Jan. 19, 2021, Infowars's Owen Shroyer was arrested and charged because he told the crowd on January 6, "Today we march for the Capitol because on this historic January 6, 2021, we have to let our congressmen and women know, and we have to let Mike Pence know, that they stole the election."
On Nov. 6, 2021, the FBI raided the homes of journalists who work for Project Veritas and the organization's founder, James O'Keefe. They reported on a diary written by Joe Biden's daughter, Ashley, in which she revealed, that Biden behaved inappropriately with her which made her a sex addict later in life.
On Nov. 15, 2021, the Justice Department arrested one of the most prominent critics of Biden and former Trump advisor Steve Bannon for refusing to cooperate with the January 6 probe.
On Nov. 16, 2021, the FBI raided the home of Sherrona Bishop, a former campaign manager for Congresswoman Lauren Boebert of Colorado. The FBI confiscated Bishop's cell phone but never charged her with a crime.
Also on Nov. 16, 2021, the FBI raided the home of Mesa County Republican Clerk Tina Peters. Peters had questions about the legitimacy of the last election.
On June 3, Peter Navarro, a trade aide to Donald Trump, was arrested at Washington National Airport, put in leg irons, and sent to jail. Navarro had sued the January 6 Committee, he claimed executive privilege in his communications with the president.
On June 9 of this year, the FBI arrested a leading Republican candidate for governor of Michigan Ryan Kelley. Kelley had participated in the January 6 protests.
On June 22, the FBI seized the phone of former Trump attorney John Eastman in a parking lot. Eastman wasn’t even presented with a warrant.
On June 23, the FBI searched the home of former Trump DOJ official Jeff Clark. The search came one day before the January 6 Committee held a televised hearing claiming Clark had a role in attempting to overturn the 2020 presidential election.
The Biden administration has also targeted the January 6 protestors. Some of the protestors were placed in solitary confinement for prolonged periods of time. Such was the torment that one among them committed suicide.
The criminalizing of political opponents only occurs in third-world dictatorships where the despot wants to leave no stone unturned in his monopoly on power and the narrative. All opposition is outlawed. Questioning journalists, members of the opposition party, protestors, activists, and even artists are targeted.
These are not the kind of occurrences expected in one of the world's leading democracies.
The goal behind these arrests, confiscations, and raids is to outlaw political opposition and association with political opponents.
The targeting is also supposed to function as a deterrent.
Most people just don't want the hassle of being arrested in public or having their devices confiscated so they stay away from Trump or the GOP and keep their ideas to themselves.
If Trump wins in 2024, there may be several talented individuals, perhaps in the private sector, who could serve in Trump's cabinet present fresh ideas, or even run for president themselves later and work toward the betterment of the nation. But they look at the various witch hunts and choose to stay away because they do not want any suffering or the destruction of their reputation. The result is progress is halted and Washington's stale and inept ideas prevail.
This is how the power grab succeeds.
In addition to the overt targeting of opponents. The Democrats also want to make elections irrelevant. They infiltrate election infrastructure. They also amended electoral laws to enable fraud. They use big tech and suppress stories critical of Democrats and concoct stories about their opponents. The list of assaults on Democracy is relentless. It is ironic that they even call themselves Democrats.
They leave the border open and allow an uncontrolled influx of illegal aliens. They even attempted to give voting rights to non-citizens in local elections. The attempt failed, perhaps they will try again or resort to fast-track citizenship for illegal migrants, hoping to increase their vote base.
Unabashedly working alongside the Democrats in this power grab is the news media.
Once upon a time, a few papers and TV channels had a monopoly over the news. They could push whatever narrative they desired and consumers really had very little choice.
Those days are over. The consumer now has numerous news sources to draw from. The facts can no longer be suppressed. However, the undesired side effect of the news boom is consumers have volatile short-term memories.
They may remember minute details about a news broadcast when the Berlin Wall came down, but they may not recall any details about an explosive news story from the previous day.
This volatile memory often enables the powerful to incrementally commit violations. Each violation may seem insignificant on its own, but put together we see a trend.
When the state of affairs descends into chaos, the opposition has a function to beat the drums of warning to inform the citizens.
In addition to high inflation, surging gas prices, and the open border this authoritarian power grab should be a leading campaign issue.
Tucker meticulously detailing the political opponents that the Biden administration unfairly and systematically targeted is an eminent journalistic effort.

Jimmy Carter on his worst day couldn’t hold a candle Joe Biden on his best, provided Biden ends up having a best day.
Remember this one: “I’m gonna ask the public for 100 days to mask, just 100 days to mask. Not forever, 100 days. And I think we’ll see a significant reduction if we occur that, if, if, if, if that occurs with vaccinations and masking to drive down the numbers considerably, considerably”? That was Joe Biden 1 year ago Friday, part of his “plan” he swore he had to “shutdown the virus.” How’d that work out again?
Has there ever been a bigger disconnect between what a candidate for President promised and what they delivered? It’s not even that Biden tried and failed, it’s that the entire premise of his campaign was a lie. He had no plan, he had no clue. All he had was an objective and handlers determined to get him there, for their own reasons.
It’s unclear to me that Joe Biden ever wanted anything more than the trappings that go with being President of the United States – the house, the being waited on hand and foot, and most importantly to a career politician with wild insecurity and unrivaled narcissism like Joe, the guarantee of being remembered. Senators are forgotten, quickly, Presidents are remembered forever. Someone who loves themselves as much as Joe does, who desperately needs others to love him just as much, that matters.
There’s also the added bonus that former Democratic Party Presidents are showered with money after their term, often times by the industries they pretended to “fight” when they were running. And Joe Biden loves money. He made a bunch after his stint as Vice President on the prospect that he would run in 2020 (leftists hedge their bets and spread their money around). That’s, of course, in addition to the millions his family raked in through Hunter’s string of jobs and contracts for which he was wildly unqualified. Joe pretends he isn’t, but he’s all about the money.
But to get to the rewards of being a former Democrat President, those Presidents tend to want to accomplish some things; they usually believe in things. Joe Biden believes in nothing. His biggest, and really only accomplishment in the Senate was the 1994 crime bill and he had to denounce it because Democrats had gone from being against crime and supporting police to supporting criminals and wanting to defund police.
On abortion, Biden changed his tune completely as well. There isn’t a person serving his administration, either in the White House or the media, who won’t insist Joe labored between running for President or becoming Pope, such a devout Catholic is he. And in his time in the Senate he used to pretend to be personally against abortion, but refused to allow his religious beliefs to dictate his policy positions. It was and is BS, but many politicians play this game (looking at you, Nancy Pelosi).
Now, he’s no longer pretending. The party of “safe, legal, and rare” abortions is now the party of abortions for everyone, on demand, with no restrictions on when. It won’t be long, maybe 5 years, before they start advocating post-birth abortions, taxpayer funded, of course. That’s where Democrats are now, so that’s where Joe Biden is now. Biden is such a weathervane on everything, and always has been, that he’d perform abortions in the White House if that’s what the fringe of his party demanded.
With no moral code, no center, nothing matters. You just read what’s in the teleprompter and hit the sack by 7:00 while your degenerate son collects piles of cash for the family until you’re free to do it on your own. All you have to do is what you’re told, your handlers and the media will take care of the rest.
That Joe Biden hasn’t come close to fulfilling any campaign promises, or even that those promises were made, is a testament to what he was willing to do to get the job. Just imagine what he’s willing to do to keep it. Even scarier, just imagine how much worse things have the potential of getting as he works to do just that.

In one-party states such as the old PRI-ruled Mexico, the stealing tended to start late. Before a Mexican president was escorted out for the next, he and his would sweep the presidential palace for everything not nailed down -- the lightbulbs, the toilet seats, the doorknobs and more. There were exceptions, but it was generally the known narrative. In more than one Latin American country, the last-minute asset grab on the way out actually had a name -- "La Pinata." After all, as former PRI mayor of Mexico City, Carlos Hank Gonzalez, used to say: "A politician who's poor is a poor politician."
Which brings us to Joe Biden, and his family's unusually fast scramble to profit from his public office right out the gate.
Son Hunter still has his 10% China equity fund stake, contrary to what had been reported, and a new art gig just perfect for bringing in money from non-transparent sources, as the New York Post, in this excellent report notes, all because his blow-pipe 'art' done as his personal art therapy is somehow so very valuable.
Brother Frank, meanwhile, is advertising his connections to old Joe for Florida law firm he's connected with, using Joe's name in a bid to drum up business. As New York Post columnist Michael Goodwin reported:
The latest sordid example involves one of Joe’s younger brothers, Frank Biden, appearing in a Florida law firm’s ad — on Inauguration Day no less. The ad used the president’s name to draw attention to the Berman Law Group’s class-action suit against sugar cane growers.
“The two Biden brothers have long held a commitment to pushing environmental issues to the forefront,” says the ad. “The president-elect has vowed to rejoin the Paris Agreement and wants to set ambitious greenhouse gas reduction targets.”
The ad, first reported by CNBC, appeared in the Daily Business Review and carried a picture of Frank Biden and quotes him saying, “My brother is a model for how to go about doing this work.”
How touching. And shameless.

And it seems to be having a knock-on effect as Vice President Kamala Harris's stepdaughter, Ella Emhoff, an art student (which generally isn't the most employable of professions), has suddenly gotten a fancy modeling contract, to be a 'style icon,' which hadn't been her forte until the establishment noticed she was close to power. Now they're gushing about her, selling her as stylish as emperor's new clothes. Kamala Harris, meanwhile, might just owe someone a favor.
It's happening, Goodwin observes, because the Bidens have been doing it for decades, and never with any consequences. Now that Joe's 'the big guy' and not a mere vice president, for them it's all the better.
Which is true enough as far as it goes, but still doesn't entirely explain the speed of the influence-peddling and pocket-lining -- why, contrary to the Mexican and Latin American model -- did the rush to grab money start on day one?
With these questionable acts starting early -- despite Joe's call to brother Frank to 'watch yourself,' what seems a distinct possibility is that the family members think the gig is not going to last so the time to act is now.
Maybe they're betting Joe isn't going to last for one reason or another. That might explain why they are rushing to scarf up all they can without covering their tracks. They're like fund managers divesting a stock --- quickly, and all at once. Fund managers buy stocks quietly and gradually on expectations the price will go up, but when they think it's heading down, they don't play around, they dump it all at once and don't care who's watching.
That kind of desperation seems to be evident in House Biden's quick bid to cash in all at once, too. Do they know something we don't? Do they expect their window of opportunity will be short? How is it they can jump up so fast to cash in, even against warnings from Joe, who after all, assured the voters last fall with this malarkey:
“My son, my family will not be involved in any business, any enterprise that is in conflict with or appears to be in conflict, with inappropriate distance from the presidency and government,” he said.
Even with the spotlight on, for them, it's as if the walls are closing in and Gotterdammerung is beckoning. If that's not a vote of low confidence in the durability of Joe and his presidency, what really is?

Report– Joe Biden Warned Brother Frank: ‘For Christ’s Sake, Watch Yourself’
President Joe Biden cautioned his brother Frank about potential business dealings during his campaign for president, according to a report.
“For Christ’s sake, watch yourself,” Biden said according to a report in Politico. “Don’t get sucked into something that would, first of all, hurt you.”
Politico cited a “person with knowledge of the conversation” in its report and said that Biden was “jocular and serious” in his comment to his brother.
Biden’s intention, Politico reports, was to protect his brother from “being hurt and vilified” because of his connections to the president.
Since Biden’s inauguration, questions about members of his family have been raised regarding their business dealings, especially after Republicans questioned his son Hunter Biden’s business deals with foreign countries during the campaign.
Frank Biden’s law firm, The Berman Law Group, promoted his relationship to President Biden in an advertisement on Inauguration Day.
“The two Biden brothers have long held a commitment to pushing environmental issues to the forefront; the president-elect has vowed to rejoin the Paris Agreement and wants to set ambitious greenhouse gas reduction targets, for example,” the ad read.
A White House official responded to the story by warning that Joe Biden’s name should not be used in any commercial advertisement.
“It is this White House’s policy that the President’s name should not be used in connection with any commercial activities to suggest, or in any way that could reasonably understood to imply, his endorsement or support,” the official told CNBC in January.
