The opposition is growing, anti-establishment, multiracial, cross-sex, non-racist, class-based, bipartisan, rational, persistent, and recognizes the solidarity that Americans owe to each other.

As a result, crime is rampant, blue cities under Democrat rule are suffering and homelessness is on the rise, all the while Biden spokespeople are claiming the "border is closed." Squealing like stuck pigs, places like New York City which have reluctantly become home to Texas' illegals, have seen a marked inability to safely house the very illegals they claim to have wanted to live in their "sanctuary city."

U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers working at the Pharr International Bridge Cargo Facility set a record for their port of entry with the seizure of more than $1 million in fentanyl. The officers found the deadly drug in powder form following an alert from a CBP K-9.

Officers assigned to the Pharr International Bridge on October 13 observed a commercial tractor-trailer approaching for inspection to enter the United States through the cargo facility. An officer referred the driver to the secondary inspection area after the truck arrived from Mexico.

The driver submitted to a non-intrusive imaging system and a K-9 screening. Following an alert from the K-9 team, officers conducted a physical search of the trailer and found 19 packages with more than 44 pounds of the deadly drug, fentanyl.

“CBP officers intercepted this load of fentanyl, the largest thus far in port history, thanks to great teamwork and the utilization of all available tools and resources,” Port Director Carlos Rodriguez, Hidalgo/Pharr/Anzalduas Port of Entry said in a written statement. “It is important to remember how lethal fentanyl is, which is why our officers always work wearing personal protective equipment and use vital equipment which can identify these dangerous substances before officers handle them.”

Officials estimate the value of the drugs at more than $1 million.

Officers seized the drugs and the tractor-trailer rig. ICE Homeland Security Investigations is conducting further investigation into the failed drug-smuggling incident.

A short distance away, CBP officers assigned to the Anzalduas International Bridge seized nearly 2,400 rounds of ammunition hidden in a white Nissan sedan attempting to depart from Texas to Mexico. The seizure included multiple calibers including 45 ACP, 28mm, 44 REM, .38, .45mm, and 28mm, officials stated.

Officers seized the ammunition and the vehicle after placing the driver under arrest.

What You Need to Know About Fentanyl

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has sent out an advisory to the public regarding the opioid crisis, specifically warning of the presence of brightly-colored fentanyl pills in general circulation.  The presence of highly addictive “rainbow fentanyl” is a trend which potentially targets young people. 

I’ve known of fentanyl my entire medical career.  My professional experience with it involved use during general anesthesia on patients undergoing surgery and epidurals during labor.  It has also been used in combat casualties and cancer patients in the form of “lollipops” for pain relief and sedation.

First synthesized in 1960, it gained approval for medical use in 1968 and achieved widespread acceptance.  By 2017, fentanyl was the most frequently-used synthetic opioid in medicine.  Two years later, more than one million prescriptions for it were being written annually.  In 2021, fentanyl accounted for more than 71,000 opioid overdose deaths in the United States.  The vast majority of recent cases are linked to illicitly manufactured fentanyl originating, it’s thought, in Mexico.

WHY FENTANYL?

For a drug dealer, fentanyl has some attributes that compare it favorably to heroin: Fentanyl is more potent, has higher profit margins, and is easier to transport to the “market” in the form of pills, lozenges, injections, nasal sprays, eye drops, and skin patches.  It’s given unthreatening nicknames such as “dance fever,” “goodfellas,” and “jackpot.”  As it’s relatively cheap, it can be used to mix in with more expensive illegal drugs.

For the consumer, fentanyl acts like other opioids, but “on steroids.”  Once in the body, fentanyl attaches itself to nerve receptors that control pain response and emotions.  The drug provides strong pain relief and creates an intense euphoric high.  It does this by elevating levels of the chemical dopamine. The drug also takes effect faster than either morphine or heroin.

The duration of effect depends on the dosage taken, the method of intake, and other factors. In those who inject the drug, the “high” lasts 11-22 hours. If used as a patch, lozenge, or pill, it can last even longer.  As the body breaks down the drug, it leaves traces behind called metabolites.  Metabolites remain longer than the duration of fentanyl effects; as such, they may be detected in drug tests much longer than the high lasts.

FENTANYL DANGERS

Unfortunately, there are serious risks associated with the use of fentanyl.  You can expect sedation, confusion, drowsiness, dizziness, nausea and vomiting, urinary retention, pupillary constriction, and respiratory depression.  This highly addictive substance leads to serious physical dependence in addition to tolerance (the need for higher doses over time to get the same “high”).

Additional dangers relate to the tendency for fentanyl powder to be mixed in with heroin, cocaine, and methamphetamine.  As it can’t be identified by sight, taste, or smell, it would require a lab analysis or special test strips to identify.  This practice of “cutting” drugs with fentanyl causes the user to inadvertently be given a dose much stronger than ordinarily expected from, say, heroin.  Indeed, accidental exposure of fentanyl to skin can be lethal in doses as low as 0.25 milligrams.

OVERDOSE SYMPTOMS

Recognizing the signs of opioid overdose can save a life.  Here are some things to look for:

• Sleepiness or loss of consciousness
• Slow (or no) breathing
• Drops in blood pressure
• Choking
• Small, constricted pupils
• Changes in muscle tone
• Cold, “clammy,” blue-gray lips and fingertips (also known as “cyanosis”)

In addition to the above, signs and symptoms more specific to fentanyl may include foaming at the mouth, body stiffening, seizures, and confusion before becoming unresponsive.

TREATING OPIOID OVERDOSES

Treating fentanyl and other opioid overdoses involves administering a drug called naloxone (brand name Narcan).  It’s available as an injectable solution or a nasal spray.  Although normally a prescription med, some states have passed laws allowing pharmacists to dispense the drug without a prescription.

Victims of opioid overdoses who are given naloxone should be monitored for another two hours after the last dose to assure good breathing and oxygenation.  A pulse oximeter is useful to determine oxygen saturation in the body.  Of course, in normal times, 911 should be called and emergency medical personnel should be dispatched.

It should be noted that naloxone has no major ill effects if given to a person who doesn’t have opioids in their system.  Even if you’re not certain that a person has overdosed on opioids, you should still give them naloxone.  Indeed, the worst side effect is that they may begin to experience withdrawal.   Withdrawal symptoms include depression, anxiety, irritability, agitation, insomnia, and flulike symptoms.

Record seizures of rainbow fentanyl have amounted to doses that would be fatal to millions.  Given that these discoveries are just a fraction of the total that crosses the border, the risk is significant enough that everyone should be aware of this dangerous drug.

Eight things that killed the Democrat Party

The old Democrat Party is gone. In its place is a radical Libertine Party, full of itself and full of radical sexual, cultural, and economic ideas that have all but killed their chances of ever getting legitimately elected again. The following five things are what I believe has murdered the Democrat Party in its sleep:

1. CRT: Critical Race Theory in all its permutations, regardless of its origins and history, has become the banner of anti-white racism, disguising itself as "anti-racism." Under its banner, white people are told they are worthless, toxic, hateful oppressors. Worse, companies are actually hiring people who promote this toxicity and schools are teaching students to hate white people. Now out in the open, anti-white racism has created a hate-filled atmosphere of constant tension and dissension, where the only thing that matters, first and foremost, is skin color. This can only be laid at the feet of Democrats.
2. TRANS WOMEN IN WOMEN'S SPORTS: The gross unfairness of allowing men into women's sports (no, I will not call them "women") is so blatant and outrageous, that proponents are seen not merely as insane, but malevolent. The destruction of women's sports is viewed by all rational people as evil in the name of wokeness.
3. CORRUPTION IN THE FBI: The malicious and ethics-free raid on Mar-a-Lago is viewed even by many Democrats and all Republicans as vicious political intimidation, with the goal of destroying any followers of Donald Trump. This began in earnest during the "Russia collusion" case and saw its culmination in midnight raids of innocent conservatives revealing a hateful, vengeful vigilantism on the part of the radical left. In the hope that supporters of Trump and other conservative candidates would drop out of politics in fear of similar reprisals, these Gestapo tactics have not only solidified Trump's support and the support of even moderately conservative candidates, but have shown the Left to be petty children in a deranged, red-haze temper tantrum.
4. COVID MASK AND VACCINE MANDATES: Certainly a show of power rather than anything prophylactic against COVID, blue states and leftist groups have revealed that they know the masks do not prevent COVID, but instead are a symbol of big-government Stasi tactics designed to subjugate the citizenry in order to prepare them for eventual control.
5. DRAG QUEENS IN THE SCHOOLS: Young children have been indoctrinated into sexual fetishism and perverse sexual behavior at the behest of school administrators and leftist parents who seem to see nothing morally wrong with gay men dressing up as women in highly sexually-suggestive costumery and behavior. Why they are doing this has become clear: They want to break down all parental control over children and indoctrinate them into pedophilia, perversity, and compliance. For most parents, this was a bustier too far.
6. THE ECONOMY: From the start in 2021 when Joe Biden killed the Keystone pipeline and halted all drilling and new permits, the economy began tanking. Gas prices, supply line problems, paying people not to work, profligate spending, and other avoidable problems has hit the average American smack dab in the wallet. No matter how much the Biden administration denies their role in inflation and no matter how many times Joe says the economy is "strong as hell," Americans watch their buying power dwindle. They want relief and it is clear they will not get it from the Democrat Party.

8. CRIME: Because of the Democrat rule in blue cities, crime is not being prosecuted in the name of some weird kind of reparations. What the Democrats don't get is that they hurt their own innocent population by allowing criminals a get-out-jail-free card, and by not prosecuting at all. Their racist policies hurt the very people they claim to want to help. Why are they doing this? To deliberately create chaos in the execution of anti-white racism. The one solution to the rising crime rate, the prosecution and incarceration of criminals, is the one thing blue cities under Democrat rule will not do. Mayor Lightfoot makes weird and demonic home videos of herself dancing around in what appears to be a drugged stupor. Rather than be a responsible mayor, she has totally ignored the death-by-violence rate in Chicago. This is another very clear example of Democrats doing what they do best; destroying things.

All this is happening under Democrat governance and it is clear even to Democrat voters of good will that their party is no longer serving them but is serving Luciferian ends.
