What could possibly go wrong? Border Report reported Monday that “a shelter for Muslim migrants opened over the weekend in Tijuana, the first of its kind in all of Mexico.” This is no small-time effort: “The Latino Muslim Foundation, based in San Diego and Tijuana, raised half a million dollars to make the facility a reality.” Meanwhile, fifty people on the terror watch list have been apprehended at the Southern border so far this year, and there is no telling how many got across without being caught. Welcome to Old Joe Biden’s America.

On October 21, U.S. reps. Ilhan Omar and Jan Schakowsky issued a press release introducing a bill titled the "Combating International Islamophobia Act." According the release, the purpose of the bill is "to address the rise in incidents of Islamophobia worldwide."
Specifically, it would require "the State Department to create a Special Envoy for monitoring and combating Islamophobia, [which would] include state-sponsored Islamophobic violence and impunity [sic] in the Department's annual human rights reports."
The bill was supported by the White House, which, notwithstanding its focus on Islam alone, described it as a measure committed to "defending freedom of religion and belief."
On Dec, 14, 2021, the bill, H.R. 5665, passed in the House, 219 to 212. No Democrat voted against it; no Republican voted for it.
Portions of the bill at §3(k) describe its scope:
(1) acts of physical violence against, or harassment of, Muslim people, and acts of violence against, or vandalism of, Muslim community institutions, including schools, mosques, and cemeteries
Under this clause, no reports of any violence and killing committed not against Muslims, but by Muslims against other religious groups, nor the suppression of non-Muslims in Muslim-ruled nations, would be authorized. Only acts against Muslims.
(2) instances of propaganda in government and nongovernment media that attempt to justify or promote racial hatred or incite acts of violence against Muslim people
The astute reader will notice a difference between this clause and the press release issued by Omar and Schakowsky. That release did not include any mention of "nongovernment media" — that is, "non-government" newspapers, magazines, radio and television programs, internet, social media — as being within its scope of oversight. The press release mentions the mouse but omits the elephant.
The beginning of wisdom is to call things by their proper name. If English is our language, the term "Islamophobia" means "irrational fear of Islam." So we are facing a rise of irrational fear of Islam? Why would that be of concern to anyone except those who are suffering from such irrational fear?
The press release and bill are not really talking about a fear of Islam; they are talking about a hostility toward Islam, which are not the same thing.
One may fear Muslims but not necessarily hate them, or act violently against them. But, in expressing fears about Muslims, is certainly possible that such fears may lead some persons to hostile acts of violence. Does this mean that such fears cannot be raised? What if they are justified?
The bill does not address this issue; instead, it proceeds as if there could be no rational basis for fear of Islam. That would be a Muslim presumption; if based only on Islamic scriptures, however, such presumption would not be an objective one.
Those Scriptures include biographies of Muhammad, which describe his great achievement of uniting Arabs under the standard of Islam, but which also include accounts of callous and unprecedented assassinations of political and religious opponents in order reach that objective. Nonetheless, in the Quran, at 33:21, Allah names Muhammad as a good example for mankind. It is fair to expect that some Muslims, appalled at the degeneracy of the West, but blind to its virtues, have taken that endorsement to heart. And if assassination is justifiable for what is believed to be a greater purpose, then what isn't?
In short, if there is content in the media that could give rise to fear of Islam, such content is not necessarily "propaganda," as the bill effectively assumes.
Need it be said that H.R. 5665 violates the First Amendment at two different levels? First of all, in addressing not the alleged hostile actions themselves, but rather the media that are supposedly instigating those actions, the bill runs afoul of such media's freedom of speech.
Secondly, in focusing on issues relating specifically to Islam and to no other religion, the bill is "respecting an establishment of religion," which, under the Amendment, is prohibited.
One has to wonder if the 219 House members are aware that we have a Constitution, or whether it has a First Amendment?
In addition to constitutional issues is the one of national sovereignty. Two hundred nineteen Democrats have voted for the U.S. to monitor "international Islamophobia." But the U.S. is not an international institution; Islam is. This is Islam's concern, not America's. Or have the Democrats converted to Islam?
Following its passage in the House, the bill, now as S. 3344, was forwarded to the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations. Because of the 50-50 party split in the full Senate, the membership of the Committee was also evenly split, leaving the bill in a deadlock. If Raphael Warnock wins the Georgia seat, Democrats would have a majority in the committee. If that majority accepted the bill as the House presented it, it could move to the Senate floor for a full vote — one in which, if it is passed, will not need reconciliation with the House, which would no longer be controlled by Democrats.
Republicans might try to filibuster such a vote, but, the filibuster being not a law, but only a Senate rule, it could be terminated by a simple majority of senators. Democrats could possibly have the votes to do that, and then vote S. 3384 into law.
As noted, however, the bill is unconstitutional on at least two levels, and so could likely be challenged successfully in court on such bases. Since Republicans would control the House, Democrats would be unable to pack the Supreme Court in order to prevent such outcome.
Even so, it would be far better if such a challenge did not need to be made at all, for the more legislation the Court must strike down, the greater is the appearance that it is legislating from the bench. In either case, a lot rides on the Dec. 6 run-off election between incumbent Raphael Warnock and Herschel Walker.
Qatar is the key backer of the Muslim Brotherhood now, not to mention allegedly tied in with every Islamist terror group from Al Qaeda to the Taliban. There’s little doubt that Rep. Ilhan Omar is an enemy of the United States. However, it’s best to be wary of foreign intel that seems to tell you exactly what you want to hear. The Saudis are fighting Qatar and while they correctly identify Qatar’s role in Jihad, their own hands weren’t all that clean.
Congresswoman Ilhan Omar (D-Minnesota-5th) was recruited by a foreign government, received funding from a foreign government, and passed sensitive information through intermediaries to Iran, a Florida court has been told, as The Jerusalem Post confirmed.
The claims came during testimony by Kuwati-born Canadian businessman Alan Bender, who was giving evidence in the trial of Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad al-Thani. The Qatari emir’s brother stands accused of ordering his American bodyguard to murder two people, and of holding an American citizen hostage. His deposition, obtained by Al Arabiya English, was authenticated by the attorney for the plaintiffs, according to the publication.
Speaking from Toronto by video link, Bender told the Florida District Court that he met with Qatar’s Secretary to the Emir for Security Affairs Mohammad bin Ahmed bin Abdullah al-Masnad and two other senior Qatari officials.
According to his sworn deposition, the three officials told him: “If it wasn’t for our cash, Ilhan Omar would be just another black Somali refugee in America collecting welfare and serving tables on weekends.”
Bender testified that the officials asked him to recruit American politicians and journalists as Qatari assets, and that when he objected, was told that several prominent figures were already on the payroll. Omar was described as the “jewel in the crown,” he said.
Qatar “recruited Ilhan Omar from even way before she thought about becoming a government official… They groomed her and arranged the foundation, the grounds, for her to get into politics way before she even showed interest. They convinced her,” he added.
Frankly, Qatar has much better jewels in its crown than a mere congresswoman.
Biden just elevated a Brookings Doha veteran to the closest thing to an ambassador to the “Palestinians”. Qatar asset Jamal Khashoggi became a martyr courtesy of the Washington Post. There are Senate members on both sides of the aisle who spew Qatari propaganda. And there’s been hardly a word of criticism of the Jihadist state from prominent figures in either party with the exception of Senator Ted Cruz or anyone in the media.
I recently ran a story about a much more credible account of how Qatar had spied on Rep. Diaz-Balart and it got almost no play.
Suggesting that Omar is Qatar’s crown jewel in D.C. is like claiming that Manhattan’s crown jewel is a Burger King.
That doesn’t mean that Qatar isn’t recruiting Americans and didn’t groom Omar. Certainly she’s tied in with some of their backed groups. I’m just saying it’s vastly underselling what Qatar has done.

German World Cup Pundit Attacked for Dismissing Qatari Attire as ‘Bathrobes’
A leading German football commentator was censured Monday after he dismissed traditional Qatari male national dress as “bathrobes.”
Ex-international forward Sandro Wagner made the offhand observation on TV while commentating during Germany and Spain’s World Cup match a few hours earlier.
AP reports Wagner was appraising the teams’ 1-1 draw for German broadcaster ZDF when he said in the 79th minute he thought one end of the Al Bayt Stadium in Al Khor was full of German fans.
“Only then did I realize that they are the Qatari bathrobes,” Wagner said.
Wagner was referring to the thaub, the traditional white full-length robes with long sleeves worn by many men in the region and a torrent of furious comments then followed on social media.

Did you know that, all throughout sub-Saharan Africa—in Nigeria, Mozambique, the Central African Republic, Mali, the Democratic Republic of Congo—Muslims have for many years been terrorizing and slaughtering Christians?
Nor is there any hope on the horizon: problems that cannot be honestly addressed are doomed to persist in perpetuity.
Enter the so-called “mainstream media.” As far as they are concerned, the persecution of Christians in Africa is a byproduct of economic and territorial grievances.
One report, titled, “How poverty and corruption fuel terrorism across Africa,” is emblematic. After citing an incident where “jihadis” connected to the Islamic State slaughtered dozens, it insists that such terrorist attacks, which “are on the rise across the African continent,” are “a consequence of poverty, domestic grievances new and old…”
This has been the mainstream media’s argument, and they’re sticking to it — no matter all the mountains of contradictory evidence.
Take the little-known genocide of Christians in Nigeria. According to an August 2021 report, since the Islamic insurgency began in earnest in July 2009, more than 60,000 Christians have either been murdered during raids or abducted, never to be seen again. During this same timeframe, approximately 20,000 churches and Christian schools were torched and destroyed by “Allahu Akbar” screaming Muslims.
According to the World Watch List’s latest reporting, 79 percent of all Christians killed for their faith were killed in Nigeria, for a total of 4,650.
Who, exactly, is behind this travesty? Two groups, primarily. First is Boko Haram, Nigeria’s premier terrorist organization, whose full name means “Sunnis for [Islamic] Propagation and Jihad.” “Boko Haram,” their nickname, means “Western education is a sin” (not “we kill because we’re poor”). Their stated goal is the establishment of a pure sharia state and the brutal subjugation or slaughter of Nigeria’s Christians.
The other group, which has in recent years terrorized and slaughtered even more Christians than Boko Haram is the Fulani—Muslim herdsmen who regularly raid the villages of and slaughter Christians. They, too, are acting on jihadist teachings and hate for Christians.
Considering that, on average, 13 Christians are slaughtered every day for their faith in Nigeria, it is almost pointless to list any particular incidents. Those interested in following this tragedy can consult my “Muslim Persecution of Christians” series, where I collate the main instances of persecution that surface every month around the world. Needless to say, when it comes to the slaughter of Christians, Nigeria dominates. Here are just some of those that occurred for the month of September 2022:
1: Muslim Fulani herdsmen hacked to death with machetes six Christians.
11: Muslims murdered a Christian while abducting a pastor and wounding his wife.
18: Muslim Fulani killed three Christians during a raid on a Christian village, “after slaughtering at least 22 others in the same area in the past three weeks.”
21: More machete-wielding Muslim herdsmen massacred 15 Christians in midnight raids on two Christian villages.
23: Muslim Fulani raided six predominantly Christian villages in the same region of Benue state. “These attacks by the herdsmen have left dozens of Christians dead and several more with gunshot injuries and machete attack wounds,” an area resident said.
17: During an all-night prayer vigil inside a church, Muslim Fulani broke in and abducted dozens of Christians. Less than one week earlier, 60 other Christians were abducted from the same denomination in another region of the country.
4: Gunmen kidnapped dozens of Christians from church, including the pastor’s son.
Responding to these and other attacks, a recent statement from the Southern Kaduna Peoples Union said,
There is still no breathing space for Christian communities … as terrorists, jihadists, bandits and armed herdsmen have continued to plunder and wreck Christian communities…
The atrocities are, indeed, nonstop. Most recently, according to an Oct. 27 report, along with slaughtering 15 more Christians—mostly women and children, as they slept during the night—Muslim Fulani also, and quite sadistically, cut off the breast of a Christian woman.
Despite all this, the American “mainstream” remains committed to describing the jihad in Nigeria as a byproduct of “inequality” and “poverty,” to quote Bill Clinton, as he once explained what was “fueling all this stuff” (the “stuff” being a reference to the genocide of Christians in Nigeria).
In their quest to blame anything and everything but reality, even climate change has been added to the mainstream arsenal of reasons fueling the jihad on Christians. After Muslim Fulani massacred some 50 Christians as they peacefully worshipped inside their church on Pentecost Sunday (Jun. 5, 2022), the president of Ireland, Michael Higgins, issued a statement precisely making such an absurd claim.
But as one Nigerian nun, Sister Monica Chikwe, once observed, “It’s tough to tell Nigerian Christians this isn’t a religious conflict since what they see are Fulani fighters clad entirely in black, chanting ‘Allahu Akbar!’ and screaming ‘Death to Christians.’” Or as the Christian Association of Nigeria once asked, “How can it be a [secular or economic] clash when one group [Muslims] is persistently attacking, killing, maiming, destroying, and the other group [Christians] is persistently being killed, maimed and their places of worship destroyed?”
Perhaps worst of all has been the Biden administration’s response. In 2020, Trump placed Nigeria on the State Department’s list of Countries of Particular Concern—that is, nations which engage in, or tolerate violations of, religious freedom. Under Biden, however, the State Department removed Nigeria—this nation where one Christian is killed every two hours—from the list.
Needless to say, many observers slammed the State Department for this unexpected move. As Sean Nelson, Legal Counsel for Global Religious Freedom for ADF International, noted:
Outcry over the State Department’s removal of Country of Particular Concern status for Nigeria’s religious freedom violations is entirely warranted. No explanations have been given that could justify this decision. If anything, the situation in Nigeria has grown worse over the last year. Thousands of Christians, as well as Muslims who oppose the goals of terrorist and militia groups, are targeted, killed, and kidnapped, and the government is simply unwilling to stop these atrocities. … Removing Country of Particular Concern status for Nigeria will only embolden the increasingly authoritarian government there.
Incidentally and to his credit, along with placing Nigeria on the list, Trump once forthrightly asked the Nigerian president, Muhammadu Buhari—whom many Nigerian officials insist Obama helped bring to power—“Why are you killing Christians?”
At any rate, such is the current state of affairs: a jihad of genocidal proportions has been declared on the Christian population of Nigeria—and has since spilled over into several other sub-Saharan nations—even as American media and government present Nigeria’s problems in purely economic terms that defy reality.
The inability to accept the straightforward facts; the inability to factor ideological or existential motives, seeing only material motives (money, land, etc.); the almost instinctive conclusion that Muslim violence is proof positive of a legitimate grievance—all of these are so ingrained in the predominant paradigm, from the mainstream media to mainstream politicians, and all of these are poisoning Western civilization from within, and eroding its influence and capacity to act from without.
It also means that, for most American media and politicians, black lives do not matter—at least not when they’re Christian, and being terminated by Muslims.
Threats of attacks on Swedish social services staff have circulated on Arabic-speaking social media as some Muslims allege Swedish authorities have kidnapped Muslim children from their parents.
A social media campaign against Swedish social services spread on social media platforms like Chinese-owned Tik Tok has alleged that Swedish authorities have kidnapped children from Muslim homes and has now seen threats of attacks against the civil servants.
In the city of Gothenburg, authorities are taking the threats seriously and have made police reports over the threats, some of which mention the purchase of guns in Gothenburg and plans for attacking social services, broadcaster SVT reports.
Ing-Marie Larsson, head of the Nordost social administration in Gothenburg, commented on the threats saying, “It’s a threat to democracy,” and added, ” I’d say it’s really serious.”
Earlier this week, SVT noted one Tik Tok video in particular that seems to urge terror attacks. “We talk from sharia. You have to secure, whether you want to or not, you have to secure your wife and your daughter somewhere. Then return here. Look, either you take your children back or die as a martyr,” the individual in the video stated.
The video was part of a live broadcast that included a man who claims to be a father who had his children taken away from him. SVT spoke to the man who stated, “A lot of people talk to me and give me different advice, on Tiktok and other social media. Some say that I should use violence against social services and others advise me to follow the law.”
The kidnapping allegations against Swedish authorities are not new and have been persisting on social media for around a year.
Earlier this year, Sweden denounced the trend as a “disinformation campaign” and rejected claims that Muslim children had been removed from their parents’ care and forced to drink alcohol or eat pork after being placed in Christian homes.

The survey, conducted by the CSA institute and published on Wednesday, suggests that 77 per cent of French think the government has failed to control immigration, CNews reports.
When broken down by political affiliation, even a majority of those who Macron’s party Renaissance, formerly La République En Marche!, say that his government has failed on the issue, at 61 per cent,
Among right-wing parties the Republicans, National Rally, and Reconquest, 92 to 100 per cent say the government has not controlled immigration.

Earlier this week, French interior minister Gérald Darmanin announced that several of the migrants who had arrived on the ship had already been deported to Mali — meaning they were obviously not legitimate refugees — but slammed the Italian government for not allowing the ship to dock in Italy regardless.
“It’s not the executive who welcomed the boat, it’s our humanity. I am very surprised by deputies who call themselves national or patriotic that you attack the government rather than your Italian friends, and that finally, you are very internationalist,” Darmanin said this week, attempting to undermine French conservatives who complained the Macron government should have taken the same line as Meloni.
Deportations have also been a topic of discussion in France in recent weeks, with French media noting that less than one in ten deportation orders were actually carried out in 2020 and the first half of 2021.
Prior to the coronavirus pandemic, the number of deportations carried out was only slightly better, at 12 per cent in 2018 and 2019.
Interior Minister Darmanin has suggested getting tougher on those with deportation orders, including floating policies like putting illegals with a deportation order on the criminal wanted list and revoking their social benefits.
Enter former president Barack Obama with a warning that "demonizing" people and stirring up division is dangerous. When he came to this realization isn’t entirely clear—certainly many years after sitting in the pews listening to his friend Jeremiah Wright and cavorting with Louis Farrakhan, but not before arguing that Republicans are warmongers whohave a lot in common with Iran’s Revolutionary Guard.
onetheless, Farrakhan continues to enjoy respect and wield influence on the Left. During the 2020 campaign, a Joe Biden ad featured a rapper who referred to Farrakhan as his “mentor.”
He is friendly with Barack Obama. A taxpayer-funded mural in New York features his image. Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Gaza) wrote a column for Farrakhan’s blog. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has denounced Kanye West, but she has never denounced Farrakhan. Ilhan Omar has never denounced Farrakhan. Rashida Tlaib has never denounced Farrakhan. Nor has Joe Biden.

Several events shortly before the midterms saved Democrats from the expected "Red Wave." One was the way the FBI and New Jersey law enforcement handled their investigation of one apparent threat in New Jersey against Jews, Christians, and gays.
About one week before the November 8 elections, FBI agents learned that Omar Alkattoul, a high school senior in Sayreville, N.J., had posted on social media, in past tense, that he had attacked a synagogue. He said he did it "for a really good reason according to myself and a lot of Muslims who have a brain."
Alkattoul said he hoped "many more attacks like these against the enemy of Allah and the pigs and monkeys will come." (Some Islamic scholars teach that the Koran and Hadith describe Jews as descendants of ancient sinners, who were like "pigs and monkeys.")
Alkattoul also wrote about his hatred for gays and Christians. He said he admired Dylann Roof for killing black Christians in a South Carolina church in 2015. Alkattoul wrote that he was just as willing to kill people "in a gay nightclub" (as in Orlando, Florida) because "God should burn gay people."
The FBI had two good reasons to treat these posts as serious threats. First, terrorists often post videos or manifestos like this before launching deadly suicide attacks. Second, Alkattoul's messages closely resembled those of Zulfi Hoxha, a deadly Islamic State leader who grew up in Margate, a beachfront suburb of Atlantic City, New Jersey.
Soon after graduating from Atlantic City High School in 2010, Hoxha embraced radical Islam. At age 23, he went to Syria and became a commander of the Islamic State (ISIS). There he appeared on videos using a knife to slit the throats of and cut the heads off helpless Kurdish prisoners. Hoxha also made a video urging young Muslims in the United States to avoid "hellfire" by killing "kaffirs" (non-Muslims)" in "lone wolf" attacks.
The FBI and New Jersey law enforcement had good reason to immediately warn Jews of this threat so they could protect themselves. If their priority had been to protect Jews, they would have described both the threat and the person who made it in detail.
However, on Thursday, November 3, the FBI Newark, N.J. office posted this notice on its Twitter page:
The FBI has received credible information of a broad threat to synagogues in NJ. We ask at this time that you take all security precautions to protect your community and facility[.]
The FBI did not identify or describe Alkattoul, display his photo, or disclose his connections to Islam. An anonymous FBI official later told an Associated Press reporter "off the record" that no details of the investigation could be released. This allowed the media and Democrats to imply that Donald Trump or Republicans were somehow behind this threat.
The Associated Press released an article that became national headline news on the Friday before the midterm elections. After reporting the current "broad threat" against Jews, the AP reminded readers of "two deadly attacks on Jews in Jersey City, and a nearby Orthodox Jewish community near New York City in 2019." The AP, of course, failed to mention that it was blacks who targeted and murdered Jews in those two attacks. The AP story failed to mention the most recent incident of Jews in Lakewood, New Jersey being targeted and attacked by a black man last April.
During the past three years, the FBI, U.S. Homeland Security, New Jersey law enforcement, the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), and the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) also ignored these attacks. They instead promoted the fake narrative that Donald Trump, Republicans, "white supremacists," and "right-wing extremists" are the biggest threats to Jews in America.
The AP article concluded with this quote by Josh Gottheimer, a Democratic congressman who was later defeated in his bid for re-election in New Jersey.
This is what happens after years of anti-Semitic comments from public figures, including most recently, Kanye West, Kyrie Irving, and others.
The JTA, a news service that supplies stories of Jewish interest to many Jewish newspapers and magazines, embellished Gottheimer's remarks. It reported that "white supremacist hate groups ... adopted West's comments as a rallying cry" and that "a change of leadership at Twitter has spurred antisemites to target Jews and other minorities online."
All this media reporting supported the basic narrative used by Democrat candidates since President Biden's speech in Philadelphia last September. They all repeated his false claim that "MAGA Republicans" were responsible for "an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our country."
FBI and N.J. state police agents questioned Omar Alkattoul one day after releasing news of his threat. They also searched his smartphone and questioned others who had received his messages.
After doing this, they concluded that Alkattoul posed no threat. Neither Alkattoul nor anyone in his group had weapons or explosives. They had no plans for getting any. They had merely sent messages to each other for several months fantasizing what they might do years in the future. Later that day, the FBI Newark office posted this message:
We identified the source of the threat who no longer poses a danger to the community. As always, we would like to remind the public to remain vigilant and if they observe suspicious activity to report it to law enforcement immediately.
When speaking to reporters, FBI and NJ law enforcement officials again refused to identify Alkattoul or his Islamic affiliation and motives. On the contrary, N.J. attorney general Matt Platkin, a Democrat, made a vague statement implying that "MAGA Republicans" were at least partly to blame. He said, "Bias and hate are on the rise. Antisemitism is on the rise, White nationalism is on the rise."
This second story became national headline news on the Saturday before the midterms. Would Platkin have said this if he and the FBI had honestly informed the public that this "broad threat to N.J. synagogues" came from one Muslim immigrant motivated by radical Islam?
Democrats did very well in the midterms. Much of this was because Democrats succeeded in portraying Republicans as dangerous and intolerant extremists and "threats to democracy."
Two days after the midterms, FBI agents arrested Omar Alkattoul. Only then did they first publicly disclose his identity and his messages of hate against Jews, Christians, and gays.
Yet even though the elections were over, the media buried the Islamic and immigrant links to this most recent threat against Jews. The New York Times headline was "New Jersey Man Arrested in Connection with Threat to Synagogues." Even the New York Post headline was "Teen arrested for broad threat against New Jersey synagogues."
To most Americans, there is no truly anti-Semitic religion. But this is an oversight. Once such religion exists among us in an unexpected place, proclaimed by a social rabble rouser.
Many people have falsely accused Christianity of being anti-Semitic. While its doctrines have been abused to that purpose at times, such a charge does not hold up to inspection. The core of Christianity is a worship of a Jew. Jesus’ mother, Miriam (Mary), was a Jew; and by Jewish law, if the mother is Jewish, the child is Jewish. Jesus even asserts his Jewish identity in the Gospel of John, where he has this discussion with a Samaritan woman.

This should put to rest, as sheer stupidity, any Arab claim that Jesus was a Palestinian. Anyone half competent in history would know that -- at that time -- the polity that Jesus was under was Judea, a etymological cognate of the term Jewish.
Though claiming Jesus as Palestinian is now common in the Mideast, it is not the first such denial of Jesus’ ancestry. Hitler tried to claim that Jesus was an Aryan. The Quran claims Jesus was a Muslim.
But to see how ridiculous this can get, we have to go to Black Islam.
The Nation of Islam (NOI) was founded in 1930 by Wallace Fard Mohammad. Oddly, offical FBI records claim that this Wallace Fard Mohammad may have been a white man.
There are FBI and other law enforcement records of a Wallace Dodd Ford. According to these records, Fard was born in New Zealand or Portland, Oregon on February 25, 1891, to either Hawaiian or British, or Polynesian (Māori) parents. The legends and fabrications concerning this man are too numerous to recount fully, but what is clear is that he was not black.
Yet, anger at racism and racist laws drove many blacks to his preaching, and within time, there came about the Nation of Islam with its ridiculous theology.
The origin mythos of the Nation of Islam is beyond bizarre.
Yakub is the name of the evil Black scientist who, according to the Nation of Islam, allegedly created the white race thousands of years ago through a "grafting" process. In his influential 1965 book, "The Message to the Blackman in America," NOI leader Elijah Muhammad explained that Yakub was "born to make trouble, break peace, kill and destroy his own people with a made enemy to the black nation." Reiterating the NOI"s belief in the existence of Yakub during a 2020 speech, NOI leader Louis Farrakhan commented that "when the white man was made, his father was a liar, his father was a murderer, so they are born with lie and murder in their nature."
Notice the name of the evil scientist: Yakub. That is an Arabic form of Jacob, the ancestral patriarch of the Jewish people.
In speeches by Malcolm X, Yakub is identified completely with Jacob. Referring to the story of Jacob wrestling with the angel, Malcolm X states that Elijah Muhammad told him that "Jacob was Yacub…”
While some versions of the story vary -- with the identity of Yakub changing -- what is clear is that the basic foundation myth of the Nation of Islam is that an evil Jew created the white man.
Note that this evil Jew was originally black.
Notice also the description of the white man: “the white man was made, his father was a liar, his father was a murderer, so they are born with lie and murder in their nature.”
Sounds like Jesus’ description of Satan.
Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. -- John 8:44
So the Nation of Islam equates the white man with Satan… hence white devil.
In the fevered imagination of the Nation of Islam, the founder of this devilish race was Yakub (Jacob) whom we know as the patriarch of Israel. It does not help that Jesus was rebuking Jewish Pharisees in that bible verse -- not the whole Jewish people, but just a subset of clerics that were troubling him.
But then, again, the Nation of Islam’s theology was pieced together from many outside sources -- such as the Moorish Science Temple of the Noble Drew Ali -- without any concern for rational interpretation. It is a mishmosh of contradictory stories. Systematic Theology is not their strong point.
In time, some members of the Nation of Islam (NOI) tried to reform, bringing the NOI into line with Sunni Islam. The NOI was disbanded… for a while.
However, Louis Farrakhan rejected the reforms, trying to keep to the initial idiocy, and rebuilt the NOI back on its original schizoid beliefs. In 1985, Farrakhan claimed that he took a visit to the Mother Plane (or wheel, depending on the version of the story) where he got some spiritual insight for the future.
Boiled down to its basics, the belief is that evil was created by a Jew named Yakub (Jacob).
Run that up through a black community -- where some members are uneducated -- and you get a conflation that the real Jews are black, that white Jews are imposters. And you have Farrakhan pushing the myth that Jews controlled the slave trade, when the real chief culprits of black slavery were Muslim Arabs.
So now, we have Kanye West -- a supposed Christian -- repeating the lie that Africans are the real Hebrews, with Kyrie Irving linking to a video that makes such a claim.
It doesn’t matter that the claims are contradictory. If Yakub the Jewish patriarch was evil, why would a black want to claim such an ancestry?
The Nation of Islam is a bald-faced lie, patched together poorly. It is not a religion, nor should it be given any respect at all. Its doctrines are warmed over anti-Semitism and anti-white stupidities, along the lines of an inversion of Nazi racial theory, only the Nazis at least used less incredible footnotes. It is rarified hate, nothing less.
It would have been better for all of us had Farrakhan remained on the Mother Wheel.
Kanye West recently became the object of worldwide opprobrium when he tweeted:
“I’m a bit sleepy tonight but when I wake up I’m going death con 3 On JEWISH PEOPLE The funny thing is I actually can’t be Anti Semitic because black people are actually Jew also You guys have toyed with me and tried to black ball anyone whoever opposes your agenda.”
The tweet was removed, his account was locked, and he has faced a storm of criticism over his his tweet. JP Morgan Chase even canceled his bank accounts.
There is no indication, however, that Louis Farrakhan, whose Jew-hatred is long-standing and abundantly documented, has never been subjected to any comparable treatment from his leftist friends who are piling on Kanye these days.
Why the double standard?
That most unhinged exponent of the Left’s propaganda industry, Rolling Stone magazine, tried to pin an accusation of hypocrisy on Ben Shapiro for writing:
“Two things can be true at once. Kanye’s moves toward pro-life, faith, and family conservatism are encouraging; his ‘death con 3’ posts and Black Hebrew Israelite language are clearly anti-Semitic and disturbing.”
The real hypocrisy, however, is not Shapiro’s, it is the Left’s, for embracing Farrakhan while excoriating Kanye West.
The Daily Caller reported in October 2020 that Farrakhan “has blamed Jewish people for the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks, the Holocaust, and referred to them as ‘satanic.’ He also praised Adolf Hitler as a ‘very great man.’ At a Nation of Islam event in February 2018,
Farrakhan asserted that ‘Jews were responsible for all of this filth and degenerate behavior that Hollywood is putting out, turning men into women and women into men.’ ‘White folks are going down,’ he also said, according to CNN. ‘And Satan is going down. And Farrakhan, by God’s grace, has pulled the cover off of that satanic Jew and I’m here to say your time is up, your world is through.’”
In February 2020, Farrakhan declared: “Mr. Trump killed my brother Qassem Soleimani. Mrs. Clinton killed my other brother Muammar Qaddafi.” In December 2019, a neighbor of a couple that murdered Jews in a kosher market said that Farrakhan had inspired them. In April 2019, Farrakhan said that “Jesus died because he was 2,000 years too soon to bring about the end of the civilization of the Jews.”
This is a longstanding pattern. In February 2019, Farrakhan said: “The wicked Jews want to use me to break up the women’s movement.” He gently chided Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Mogadishu) for apologizing for her own anti-Semitic remarks: “Sweetheart, don’t do that. Pardon me for calling you sweetheart, but you do have a sweet heart. You sure are using it to shake the government up, but you have nothing to apologize for.” Farrakhan’s rhetoric has led to violence. In April 2021, a self-described “follower of Farrakhan” crashed his car into a Capitol barricade and charged at police with a knife.

The double standard is glaring and obvious. The Democratic Party establishment is increasingly anti-Semitic. The House of Representatives couldn’t manage to censure Ilhan Omar in 2019 after her repeated anti-Semitic remarks, opting instead for a catchall, virtue-signaling condemnation of “hate.” When the same people who defended Omar and stood proudly with Farrakhan condemn Kanye West for saying the same kinds of things their own friends and allies say, there’s the real hypocrisy. The Democrat Party is anti-Semitic until it becomes politically expedient for Democrats to denounce anti-Semitism, but when they issue these denunciations, they never break off relations with people who frequently and unrepentantly traffic in anti-Semitic rhetoric.
JP Morgan Chase and the others who have attacked Kanye West afterward were clearly only attacking him because he has publicly broken ranks with the Left’s race-baiting establishment and has defended Donald Trump. If they were attacking him for anti-Semitism, there are plenty of their friends that they’re going to have to throw under the bus. Don’t hold your breath.
Nation of Islam Calls Supporter Who Assaulted U.S. Capitol ‘Brother With Such Great Potential’
Organization vows to find motive for attack, including mind control

The Nation of Islam said it is investigating what caused one of its followers to stage a deadly assault against U.S. Capitol police last week, calling the deceased attacker a "brother with such great potential" who could have been a "star in the mission of the resurrection of our people."
The group distanced itself from the attack by its supporter Noah Green, saying it "absolutely disavow[s] this act that resulted in the senseless loss of life," and indicated that it was looking into a number of potential explanations for "what caused this"—including mental illness, depression, Green's own claims that his food was being poisoned, and that he was under "mind control."
"I am sure, had [Green] been blessed to come through the crisis that he was going through, he would have been a star in the mission of the resurrection of our people," said Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan. "We need to know what happened to our brother."
Green, a 25-year-old Nation of Islam supporter, killed Officer William Evans after ramming his car through a barrier at the Capitol on Friday. Green attacked a second officer with a knife before being shot and killed by police.
The Nation of Islam described Green as a young man who "struggled in his early life but overcame much as a student to graduate with a degree in finance. He had a wonderful, noble idea to help the black and brown people through his knowledge of finance."
The organization added that "our research is continuing into what happened to this young man and we cannot rest until we find out what caused him to take a turn like this. We are saddened by the loss of this brother with such great potential."
In a social media post before the attack, Green claimed that he "suffered multiple home break-ins, food poisoning, assaults, unauthorized operations in the hospital, mind control."
Just a day after the attack, the Nation of Islam's research arm promoted claims about the U.S. government engaging in mind control.
"Sidney Gottlieb was an American chemist involved with the Central Intelligence Agency's assassination attempts and its mind-control program known as Project MKUltra," wrote the Nation of Islam Research Group on Twitter.
Farrakhan regularly calls Jews "satanic" and claims they control the media, financial industry, and global politics. He has also described white people as "potential humans" who "haven't evolved yet."
The Nation of Islam has promoted anti-Semitic and anti-government conspiracy theories, including claims that the Sept. 11 attacks were a "false flag" operation orchestrated by "Jewish Zionists" within the U.S. government. The group published a three-book series called The Secret Relationship between Blacks and Jews, which blamed Jews for the history of black oppression.
‘Follower of Farrakhan’ Crashes Capitol Barricade, Charges Cops with Knife
Mix jihad with racist grievance-mongering, this is what is going to result.
On Friday, a man named Noah Green crashed his car into a barricade at the U.S. Capitol building, hitting Capitol Police officers, one of whom was killed. Then Green got out of his car and charged at police officers with a knife. The establishment media was already gearing up to label the attacker a Trump supporter and treat us to a new round of “insurrection” propaganda when it came to light that Green was not a conservative or Trump supporter at all, but a black man and a member of the Nation of Islam. Rather than being an example of “white supremacist terrorism,” Green’s actions were a disquieting illustration of how the combination of race-grievance politics with Islam’s jihad doctrine can be lethal.
The Nation of Islam is, of course, Louis Farrakhan’s group, and on his Facebook page, which was hastily deleted, Noah Green proclaimed himself a “Follower of Farrakhan.” According to Indianapolis’ Fox59, Green “filed a name change petition in Marion County Court back in December. Records show he wanted to change his name from Noah Ricardo Green to Noah Zaeem Muhammad. The hearing from that petition was scheduled for this Tuesday, but we’ve confirmed that Green did not show up for that hearing. Because he missed the hearing and didn’t file for an extension, the court dismissed the matter and closed the case.”
There is no indication, however, that he missed his court hearing because he had grown disenchanted with the Nation of Islam. In a March 17 Facebook post, he praised Farrakhan as “Jesus, the Messiah, the final divine reminder in our midst,” and the Nation of Islam’s central figure, Elijah Muhammad, as “brought forth by Allah, in the person of Master Fard Muhammad.” Green added a cryptic reference to “long hours, lots of studying, and exercise” that he had set aside because “Allah (God) has chosen me for other things.”
Green’s statements about Farrakhan, Elijah Muhammad, and Fard Muhammad are bizarre and heterodox from the standpoint of orthodox Sunni or Shi’ite Islam, but they reflect the standard beliefs of the Nation of Islam, a strange and syncretistic new religion based in part on Islam and in part on bizarre and paranoid racial hate fantasies. The Nation was founded in the early 1930s by Wallace D. Fard, an umbrella salesman who has been variously described as an Arab and a Pakistani, who began preaching in Detroit that Islam, or his own adulterated version of it (which included the claim that Noah Green repeats, that Fard was the incarnation of Allah), was the original religion of the black man.
Fard attracted a zealous follower in Elijah Poole, who, renamed Elijah Muhammad, took Fard’s message of race hate (most memorably summed up in the assertion that “the white man is a devil”) to black communities nationwide, ultimately converting such luminaries as Malcolm Little, who became Malcolm X, and the boxer Cassius Clay, who became Muhammad Ali.
The Nation is not any recognizable form of Islam that has ever existed in Islamic history, but it does share some of the core elements of Islam, including virulent antisemitism, which may indicate that Nation members hold to other tenets of Islam as well, and are sympathetic to the global jihad. Farrakhan has called in the past for 10,000 volunteers to stalk and kill white people.
So was Noah Green’s individual storming of the Capitol barricades a jihad attack? Maybe, but it seems more likely that he was driven by the racial resentment that the Nation of Islam relentlessly stokes and lives on, combined with Islamic tenets about using violence as an instrument to do the work of Allah.
Authorities may never tell us the full story of why Noah Green did what he did, if they ever find out themselves, but it is also true that vehicular jihad is a common jihadi tactic, and often involves the attacker charging out of the car with a knife. Whatever else he may have had in mind, Noah Green has become an illustration of how dangerous it is to nurture hatred and resentment while teaching that vigilante violence is a way to bring about justice. In light of the left’s increasing hatred, fascism, and hysteria, it is virtually certain that there will be many more Noah Greens in the near future.

Biden recently released Mohammed al-Qahtani, the 20th 9/11 hijacker, and Zuhail al-Sharabi, another hijacker for an expanded version of the 9/11 attacks from Guantanamo Bay, so it's only fitting that he's trying to cut a plea deal with the mastermind of the attacks.
Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the architect of the September 11 attacks, not to mention multiple other plots and acts of terror including the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center and the brutal murder of Daniel Pearl, was captured in March 2003.
19 years later the trial has yet to go anywhere.
In 2008, the process of charging Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and four others began.
Unfortunately a year later, the pro-terrorist administration of Barack Hussein Obama took office.
Attorney General Eric Holder announced that he wanted to bring Mohammed to a civilian court in New York. The backlash, especially from the families of 9/11 victims, was tremendous and the Obama administration overruled Holder. However Holder injected a poison pill into the system by going after the use of material gained through the terrorist leader's interrogations and even from a “Clean Team” that independently obtained a confession from Mohammed.
“It’s a statement about what this Administration is about,” Holder boasted.
As if anyone needed further reminding of what the Obama administration was really about.
After that everyone settled in for a decade of lawfare by Mohammed’s lawyers who carefully sabotaged any effort to move the case forward by demanding classified information involving the system set up to stop, capture and interrogate Islamic terrorists. And their client and his legal allies followed the Al Qaeda lawfare playbook by making all sorts of frivolous complaints, such as objecting to the presence of female personnel, to drag out the case.
Their game plan was to get the government to settle. And they almost made it once before.
A previous effort to cut a plea deal with Mohammed was thrown out when Attorney General Jeff Sessions demanded that military prosecutors cut out any such nonsense. But now it’s back.
The trial of Mohammed and other terrorists involved in the 9/11 attacks finally began in 2021 and after a series of hearings was shut down again due to the pandemic before being restarted.
The Biden administration has been aggressively pressuring the Department of Defense to shut down Guantanamo Bay and free all the terrorists. Mohammed and his legal allies understand that, like Obama, Biden wants to empty Gitmo. The 9/11 mastermind has effectively used that in the past by demanding that he serve out his sentence in Gitmo instead of in Colorado.
Mohammed and his legal defenders claimed that Gitmo was a better place for Muslims.
Even though Mohammed had confessed several times already, a plea deal would have the terror boss trade a guilty plea in exchange for prosecutors dropping the death penalty.
Attorney General Eric Holder had promised that Mohammed would receive the death penalty. Numerous politicians, both Democrats and Republicans, assured 9/11 families he would. But Mohammed understood that, like his Taliban allies, all he had to do was wait out America.
Americans would care less about the September 11 attacks with every year that passed. The families of those who were killed in the Islamic terrorist attacks would grow old or die. The political and military systems would grow tired of jumping through legal hoops and surrender.
And that is exactly what’s happening.
The Obama administration warped the morale and patriotic fiber of portions of the military. Court officials who were once disgusted to even be dealing with Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and Al Qaeda terrorists have been replaced by those who now ferociously advocate for them.
At the Gitmo trial of an Al Qaeda terrorist last year, military officials serving as a jury sent a shameful letter whining that the terrorist's interrogation was a "stain on the moral fiber of America" and "a source of shame.” The only stain here was in their treasonous cowardly letter and the only source of shame is that those who wrote it are still employed by the military.
The Biden administration is betting that it can cut a plea deal and clear the Mohammed case.
But in 2009, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and his fellow terrorists had already entered their "Islamic" response to the charges against them which declared that "killing you and fighting you, destroying you and terrorizing you" are "considered to be great legitimate duty in our religion."
Terrorism, the Islamic response explained, was an "offering" to Allah. It described the "blessed 11 September operation" as "our military attack".
That’s an official confession without any duress whatsoever.
The Islamic response also admitted that even without any of the named pretexts, "it would have been the greatest religious duty to fight you over your infidelity."
This infidelity was defined as “your statement that Allah had a son and your trinity beliefs.”
Al Qaeda would have been at war with America simply because it’s a Christian country.
“Our prophet was victorious because of fear," the response boasted. "Our religion is a religion of fear and terror to the enemies of Allah: the Jews, Christians, and pagans. With Allah's wiling, we are terrorists to the bone."
It concluded by declaring, "Your end is very near and your fall will be just as the fall of the towers on the blessed 9/11 day."
A country that still had any dignity left would have responded by stringing Mohammed and all the rest of them up. Instead another decade of legal wrangling and lawfare followed as military prosecutors and judges continue to insist that they have no idea how to try and convict him.
Khalid Sheikh Mohammed had confessed his crimes multiple times.
In 1942, with the war underway, Nazi saboteurs brought here by submarine were arrested by the FBI. They were caught in June, tried in July, and sent to the electric chair in August.
And that was for enemy operatives who had not even managed to kill a single American.
Meanwhile after 19 years of having the mastermind of the murder of thousands of Americans in custody, he has yet to be convicted and is unlikely now to pay the price for his crimes.
The military court system, which was meant to expedite the trials and convictions of terrorists as enemy insurgents during wartime, not criminal defendants protected by the Constitution, has been corrupted and broken. It needs to be replaced. But that is not likely to happen until the next phase of the war against Islamic terrorism is underway.
Meanwhile the political and cultural allies of the Islamists are running our government.
Obama sabotaged the process of bringing Khalid Sheikh Mohammed to justice and now, just as with the Taliban and Iran, Biden is finishing the criminal betrayal that his boss began.
Tulsi Gabbard: U.S. Government ‘Is Hiding the Truth’ on 9/11 Terror Attacks
Thursday on Fox News Channel’s “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI), a candidate for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination, reacted to the difficulties Chris Ganci and Brett Eagleson, two relatives of victims of the September 11, 2001 terror attacks were having in their quest to obtain more information about Saudi Arabia’s involvement in 9/11.
Gabbard accused the federal government of undermining efforts of achieving more transparency, which she said was being done at the behest of Saudi Arabia.
Partial transcript as follows:
CARLSON: This is one of those issues I don’t think is partisan. It doesn’t need to be. It shouldn’t be partisan in any sense.
GABBARD: Absolutely not.
CARLSON: It’s an American issue. Why would the U.S. government ever side with the Saudi Kingdom of all countries against our citizens?
GABBARD: This is the real question that’s at stake. This story that we’re hearing from the families of those who were killed on 9/11 pushes this issue to the forefront where, for so long, leaders in our government have said, well, Saudi Arabia is our great ally. They’re a partner in counterterrorism, turning a blind eye or completely walking away from the reality that Saudi Arabia time and again, has proven to be the opposite.
CARLSON: Yes.
GABBARD: They’re undermining our National Security interests. They are — as you said, they are the number one exporter of this Wahhabi extremist ideology.
CARLSON: Yes.
GABBARD: They’re a fertile recruiting ground for terrorists, like al Qaeda and ISIS around the world. They’re directly providing arms and assistance to al Qaeda, in places like Yemen, and in Syria.
And as we are seeing here, it is our government, our own government that is hiding the truth from Chris and Brett and the many other families of those who were killed on 9/11. For what? Where do the loyalties really lie?
CARLSON: So I was thinking in the commercial break that of the number of people I know personally, not abstractly, but have had lunch with in this city who are taking currently money from the Saudi Kingdom or their allies in the Emirates, the Gulf States, and I wonder if that maybe play some role, like a lot of people on their payroll here.
GABBARD: Yes. We talk about the foreign policy establishment in Washington.
CARLSON: Yes.
GABBARD: We talk about the political elite, the military-industrial complex. We hear things from some of those people, well, you know, hey, we sell a lot of weapons to Saudi Arabia. So you know, if we burn bridges with them, then who are we going to sell our weapons to? Where are we going to get that money from?
All of these excuses that have nothing to do with the interests of the American people, with our national security interests. And that’s — I’m proud and honored to be able to stand shoulder to shoulder with these 9/11 families in demanding this truth because, yes, it is about truth and justice and closure for all of them now as we approach 20 years since that attack on 9/11. It’s also about our National Security.
CARLSON: Yes.
GABBARD: Safety and security of the American people.
CARLSON: I’ll never forget right after 9/11, living here in the City of Washington, our airports were closed. All airports were closed in this country.
GABBARD: Yes.
CARLSON: And learning that chartered flights of Saudi citizens had been allowed with U.S. government approval to take off and run back to Saudi Arabia without being questioned by authorities here and thinking you know, if I tried to do that, I’d be in prison. Why are we giving preference to Saudi citizens over our own citizens?
GABBARD: Exactly. It makes no sense if you think about what would happen if we actually had leaders who were putting the interests of our country above all else. You follow the money trail. It goes back to the military-industrial complex.
You look at how many of the think tanks here in Washington who send so-called experts to go and testify before Congress who are funded by Saudi Arabia to spout their talking points.
You saw how the legislation that we passed in Congress. I was proud to vote for legislation that allowed families like Chris and Brett’s to sue Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia trotted out all of their lobbyists to say why that would be so dangerous, so dangerous for our interests, for them to be allowed to seek justice for their families.
This is about standing up for our country. This is about standing up for our principles and our freedoms and for the truth.

Since his election to the presidency in 2016, the Democrat-Deep State-Media axis has targeted Donald Trump for foreign entanglements they claim should remove him from office. Now comes news of foreign entanglements and foreign cash for the previous president.
“Middleman helped Saudi give to Obama inaugural,” proclaims the headline on the October 29 report by Alan Suderman and Jim Mustian, billed as an Associated Press exclusive. As the authors explain, U.S. election law prohibits foreign nationals from making contributions to the inaugural celebrations of American presidents. As it turns out, the law was violated.
A “Saudi tycoon,” Sheikh Mohammed Al Rahbani, routed hundreds of thousands of dollars for the Obama inaugural through an “intermediary,” Imaad Zuberi. He, in turn, is a “jet-setting fundraiser and venture capitalist,” who has “raised millions of dollars for Democrats and Republicans alike over the years.” Despite the appearance of bipartisanship, Zuberi is more narrowly tailored.
Imaad Zuberi “served as a top fundraiser for both Obama and Hillary Clinton during their presidential runs, including stints on both of their campaign finance committees.” One campaign, not identified, took donations “in the name of one of Zuberi’s dead relatives” and a political committee, also unidentified, “took donations from a person Zuberi invented.” As the DOJ charged, Zuberi pleaded guilty to “falsifying records to conceal his work as a foreign agent while lobbying high-level U.S. government officials,” and it was hardly his first brush with the law.
“Elite Fundraiser for Obama and Clinton Linked to Justice Department Probe,” read the headline on Bill Allison’s August 28, 2015 exclusive in Foreign Policy. The calling card of the elite political fundraiser are photographs, “bumping fists with President Barack Obama in front of a Christmas tree at a White House reception. Sharing a belly laugh with Vice President Joe Biden at a formal luncheon,” and posing “cheek to cheek with Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.”
Not only is Zuberi a major fundraiser for her campaign, notes Allison, “he also donated between $250,000 and $500,000 to the Clinton Foundation, which has already come under fire for accepting money from donors — many of them foreign — with interests before the U.S. government while she was secretary of state.”And as Allison learned, Hillary’s 2008 campaign benefitted from “straw donors” set up by Sant Singh Chatwal and Norman Hsu, both convicted of election law violations.
Zuberi also used straw donors in more recent illegal activity. As to the affiliation of those mysterious campaigns and committees, the AP writers provide a hint.
Sheikh Mohammed Al Rahbani has “talked about his support of Obama. He posted pictures on his website of himself and his wife standing with Obama, former Vice President Joe Biden and their spouses at a 2013 inaugural event.” Alas, “the website was taken down shortly after Zuberi’s plea was made public.”
As Paul Delacourt of the FBI’s Los Angeles office explains, “American influence is not for sale.” Mr. Zuberi “lured individuals who were seeking political influence in violation of U.S. law, and in the process, enriched himself by defrauding those with whom he interacted.” According to the DOJ, that “could send him to prison for a lengthy period of time.”
According to Suderman and Mustian, “Zuberi’s case raises questions about the degree to which political committees vet donors.” And as FEC boss Ellen Weintraub told the writers, “I’m deeply concerned about foreigners trying to intervene in our elections, and I don’t think we’re doing enough to try to stop it.” They might start by looking in the right place.
Unconventional candidate Donald Trump, a man of considerable means, financed his own campaign. Trump had no need to consort with the likes of Zuberi or his dead relatives and those he invents. And because Trump financed his own campaign, he owes nothing to anybody, foreign or domestic.
Adam “sack of” Schiff, as Judge Jeanine Pirro respectfully calls him, claimed he had evidence in plain sight that Trump colluded with Russia to steal the election from Hillary Clinton. Two years and a Mueller investigation later, such evidence is nowhere in sight. Schiff’s current inquisition, perhaps more bogus than the Mueller probe, is best seen a diversion from John Durham’s criminal investigation of those who launched the Russia hoax. That is where DOJ and election officials should be looking.
Did Clinton Foundation donor Imaad Zerubi turn up on any of those 30,000 subpoenaed emails Hillary Clinton deleted? Did Zerubi see any classified material? Were there any texts from Zerubi and his foreign clients on the cell phones Hillary’s squad smashed up with hammers? Was Clinton grossly negligent, or just extremely careless? And so on. Meanwhile, Hillary Clinton also enjoyed other foreign intervention, right out in the open.
Mexican foreign minister Marcelo Ebrard, a former mayor of Mexico City, had worked with voter-registration and participation groups in California, Arizona, Florida, Chicago, and elsewhere. As Ebrard told Francisco Goldman of the New Yorker, in 2016 he “decided to get more involved” by working on get-out-the-vote campaigns on behalf of Hillary Clinton.
A powerful foreign national openly interferes in an American election, and nobody calls him on it. Now that Clinton Foundation lackey Imaad Zuberi has copped a plea, the FEC and DOJ should look into it.
Congress overrides Obama veto of bill allowing 9/11 lawsuits

On Wednesday, the US Congress overturned President Obama’s veto of legislation that would permit victims of the September 11, 2001 attacks and their families to sue Saudi Arabia. Declassified documents released this year confirm the involvement of Saudi intelligence agents in the funding, organization, and planning of the attacks—facts which were covered up for years by the Bush and Obama administrations.
The vote, 97-1 in the Senate and 348-77 in the House of Representatives, represents the first and only congressional override of Obama’s presidency. Under the US Constitution, the president’s veto can be overturned only by a two-thirds majority vote in both houses of Congress.
The Obama administration and the military and intelligence agencies, backed by sections of the media, including the New York Times, have vigorously denounced the legislation. Obama personally, together with Central Intelligence Agency director John Brennan, Defense Secretary Ashton Carter, and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Joseph Dunford among others, have all publicly opposed the bill.
In a letter to Congress opposing the legislation, Obama warned that the bill would “threaten to erode sovereign principles that protect the United States, including our U.S. Armed Forces and other officials, overseas.”
In a lead editorial on Wednesday, the New York Times similarly warned that “if the bill becomes law, other countries could adopt similar legislation defining their own exemptions to sovereign immunity. Because no country is more engaged in the world than the United States—with military bases, drone operations, intelligence missions and training programs—the Obama administration fears that Americans could be subject to legal actions abroad.”
In other words, the bill would set a precedent for families of victims of American aggression abroad—such as the tens of thousands of victims of “targeted killings” ordered by Obama personally—to file lawsuits against US war criminal in their own countries’ courts.
Obama denounced the vote with unusual warmth on Wednesday. “It's an example of why sometimes you have to do what's hard. And, frankly, I wish Congress here had done what's hard,” Obama declared. “If you’re perceived as voting against 9/11 families right before an election, not surprisingly, that's a hard vote for people to take. But it would have been the right thing to do ... And it was, you know, basically a political vote.”
“Oh, what a tangled web we weave,” Sir Walter Scott famously wrote, “When first we practice to deceive!” As the tangled web of lies surrounding the September 11 attacks continue to unravel, one senses that the American ruling class and its representatives do not see a clear way out of the dilemma.
Openly torpedoing the legislation is tantamount to an admission of guilt. Indeed, the Obama administration, the military and intelligence agencies, and theNew York Times are publicly working to cover up a crime perpetrated by Al Qaeda and its backers in Saudi Arabia, which in turn is an ally of the United States. The mere fact that Obama vetoed this bill constitutes an admission that the US government is hiding something with respect to the September 11 attacks.
The alternative, from the standpoint of the American ruling class, is also fraught with risks. Court proceedings initiated by the families of September 11 victims will inevitably expose the role played by the Saudi monarchy, an ally of both Al Qaeda and the United States, in the September 11 attacks. This, in turn, will highlight long and sordid history of American support for Islamic fundamentalism in the
Middle East, which continues to the present day in Syria and Libya.
Perhaps most dangerously of all, a full public accounting of the roles of Saudi intelligence agents in the September 11 attacks will once again raise questions about the role of the American state in the attacks. Why did US intelligence
agencies ignore the activities of Saudi agents before the attacks, based on Saudi Arabia’s supposed status as a US ally?
Why did the US government deliberately cover up the Saudi connection after the fact, instead claiming that Afghanistan was a “state sponsor of terrorism” and that Iraq was developing “weapons of mass destruction?” Why was nobody
prosecuted?
The New York Times, for its part, simply lied about the evidence of Saudi complicity. “The legislation is motivated by a belief among the 9/11 families that Saudi Arabia played a role in the attacks, because 15 of the 19 hijackers, who were members of Al Qaeda, were Saudis,” the editors wrote. “But the independent American commission that investigated the attacks found no evidence that the Saudi government or senior Saudi officials financed the terrorists.”
In fact, at least two of the hijackers received aid from Omar al-Bayoumi, who was identified by the Federal Bureau of Investigation as a Saudi intelligence agent with “ties to terrorist elements.” Some of the hijackers were paid for work in fictitious jobs from companies affiliated with the Saudi Defense Ministry, with which Al-Bayoumi was in close contact. The night before the attacks, three of the hijackers stayed at the same hotel as Saleh al-Hussayen, a prominent Saudi government official.
These and other facts were confirmed by the infamous 28-page suppressed chapter of the 2002 report issued by the Joint Inquiry into Intelligence Community Activities Before and After the Terrorist Attacks of September 11, 2001. After 14 years of stalling, the document was finally released to the public this summer.
Yet the New York Times continues to describe the Saudi monarchy, the principal financier and sponsor of Islamic fundamentalist groups throughout the world, as “a partner in combating terrorism.”
The Justice Against Sponsors of Terrorism Act, passed Wednesday, is a direct reaction to these revelations of Saudi complicity in the September 11 attacks, under pressure from organizations of survivors and families of victims. The law amends the federal judicial code to allow US courts “to hear cases involving claims against a foreign state for injuries, death, or damages that occur inside the United States as a result of. .. an act of terrorism, committed anywhere by a foreign state or official.”
Although the bill nowhere names Saudi Arabia, the Saudi government has threatened massive retaliation, including by moving $750 billion in assets out of the country before they can be seized in American legal proceedings. This reaction alone confirms the monarchy’s guilt.
During Wednesday’s session, many of the statements on the floor of the Senate were nervous and apprehensive. Casting his vote in favor of the bill, Republican Senator Bob Corker declared, “I have tremendous concerns about the sovereign immunity procedures that would be set in place by the countries as a result of this vote.” More than one legislator noted that if the bill had unintended consequences, it would be modified or repealed.
The anxious comments of legislators and the crisscrossing denunciations within the ruling elite reflect the significance of this controversy for the entire American political establishment. For 15 years, the American population has been relentlessly told that the events of September 11, 2001 “changed everything,” warranting the elimination of democratic rights, the militarization of the police, renditions, torture, assassinations, totalitarian levels of spying, death and destruction across the Middle East, and trillions of dollars of expenditures.
The collapse of the official version of that day’s events shows that American politics for 15 years has been based on a lie.
Pollak: Everything Joe Biden Said About Donald Trump’s Foreign Policy Actually Describes Barack Obama’s
Everything former vice president Joe Biden said about President Donald Trump’s foreign policy speech on Thursday actually applies to the policy that Biden carried out together with former President Barack Obama — and not Trump.
In his speech, at City University of New York, Biden called Trump an “extreme” threat to the country’s national security. No one has yet taken Biden to task for describing the sitting commander-in-chief in such alarmist terms.
But that wasn’t even the most bizarre aspect of Biden’s speech. He said the main problem in Trump’s foreign policy was … Charlottesville, Virginia. Biden went on to recite a version of the debunked “very fine people” hoax, claiming that Trump had drawn a “moral equivalence between those who promoted hate and those who opposed it.” That, he said, was a threat to America’s mission of standing for democratic values in the world.
But in fact, Trump specifically condemned the neo-Nazis in Charlottesville on multiple occasions. The entire premise of Biden’s speech was a lie.
Biden went on to claim that Trump’s foreign policy rejects democratic values and favors the rise of authoritarianism worldwide. He cited Trump’s warmth to Russian president Vladimir Putin and North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un. And he claimed that Trump has undermined America’s alliances with democracies in favor of flattery from dictators.

Trump praises dictators as a negotiating tactic; Obama praised them because he, too, thought America was a problem.
One of the few times the Obama administration embraced democratic change was during the Arab Spring, when “democracy” meant the rise of the Muslim Brotherhood — which had no interest in freedom, only in power.
In 2008, the Obama campaign cast Biden as a foreign policy guru, though he had been wrong on almost every foreign policy issue in his career. On Thursday, he mostly ignored his own record.
Astonishingly, Biden claimed credit for Trump’s success in crushing the so-called “Islamic State,” saying he worked with Obama “to craft the military and diplomatic campaign that ultimately defeated ISIS.” In fact, Biden was complicit in the rise of ISIS. He was Obama’s point man on Iraq when the U.S. suddenly pulled out of the country, leaving a vacuum that ISIS filled. He did not object when Obama called the terror group “junior varsity.”
Biden offered nothing new in terms of solutions to current foreign policy challenges. He claimed that the Iran nuclear deal had been a success — on the very day Iran was reportedto have been cheating all along. He said the U.S. should re-enter the deal once Iran did, offering no idea how to ensure that it did so. On North Korea, Biden promised he would “empower our negotiators,” whatever that means.
He said that he would get “tough” with China, which Trump is already doing (and which Biden previously suggested he would not do). And on immigration, he ridiculed the very idea of borders — literally: “I respect no borders.”
And this is the best Democrats have on foreign policy.

Enter former president Barack Obama with a warning that "demonizing" people and stirring up division is dangerous. When he came to this realization isn’t entirely clear—certainly many years after sitting in the pews listening to his friend Jeremiah Wright and cavorting with Louis Farrakhan, but not before arguing that Republicans are warmongers whohave a lot in common with Iran’s Revolutionary Guard.
Democrat Mandela Barnes is currently locked in a tight battle for a U.S. Senate seat in Wisconsin as he seeks to oust Republican incumbent Ron Johnson from that office. Trailing Johnson by a mere 3 points in the latest Fox News poll, Barnes claims that the Republican has turned his back on working people, but not “on his campaign donors” or on a variety of political schemes designed to “delive[r] perks and benefits for even his own family members.” “We’re talking about a person [Johnson] who has secured more than $200 million in tax deductions for two of his biggest donors in a single year,” says Barnes, “who wants to put the Social Security and Medicare benefits people work their entire lives for on the chopping block…. This is a person who will say whatever it takes, regardless of how ridiculous, how dangerous. But we know that…. He’s not just a danger to the state. He’s a threat to the stability of this country. That’s who he is.”
Okay, so that’s who Mandela Barnes tells us Ron Johnson is. But who, pray tell, is Mandela Barnes?
Inspired by Obama
Now 36 years old, Barnes was first inspired to pursue a career in politics back in 2004 when he heard then-Illinois State Senator Barack Obama deliver a speech at that year’s Democratic National Convention. Obama’s speech, Barnes recalls, was an “inspirational moment” that “made me think about the world a little bit differently and think about politics much differently. In Barack, I saw someone who had a unique experience, and it wasn’t like any other politician. Seeing that happen, seeing him on the stage, I knew it was something that I’d be interested in, being involved in politics in general.”
In 2008, Barnes spent six months as a field organizer for the Obama presidential campaign in Louisiana. Returning thereafter to Wisconsin, Barnes held several minor positions within the office of Tom Barrett, the then-Mayor of Milwaukee and a future U.S. Ambassador to Luxembourg under President Joe Biden.
Member of the Wisconsin State Assembly
In 2012, Barnes was elected to fill the 11th District seat in Wisconsin’s State Assembly. Notable legislation which he authored during his first two-year term in office included: a resolution to have the Wisconsin state legislature formally recognize Black History Month; a bill to “ban assault weapons and large-capacity magazines”; a resolution to have the Wisconsin legislature recognize “Juneteenth” as an official holiday; and a resolution to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the start of the “War on Poverty,”
During his second term in the Wisconsin State Assembly, Barnes authored an even greater number of left-wing legislative initiatives, including:
a bill to decriminalize the “possession and distribution of 25 grams or less of marijuana”
a bill to permit “16- and 17-years-olds to preregister to vote”
a resolution to create a committee to combat “racial intolerance”
a bill to offer “alternative sites for absentee voting in person”
a bill to authorize local governments to “collect and record information about firearms in a registry”
a bill to establish a “maximum period of imprisonment following revocation of extended supervision or probation”
a bill to allow “certain prisoners to earn time toward early release from confinement in prison”
a bill to allow for a “petition for expunging a court record of certain offenses ten years after completion of a sentence”
a bill aimed at “restoring the right to vote to certain persons barred from voting as a result of a felony conviction”
In a 2013 Instagram post, Barnes praised of the notoriously anti-Semitic, America-hating socialist minister Jeremiah Wright. He described Wright as a “brilliant” man and included a picture of himself proudly shaking hands with Wright.
Supporting Colin Kaepernick’s Crusade Against White Racism
In September 2018, Barnes tweeted a photo of himself wearing a jersey that bore the name and number of former NFL quarterback-turned-radical-activist Colin Kaepernick, who had gained enormous fame by initiating the practice of kneeling during the playing of the pre-game national anthem as a gesture of protest against what Kaepernick viewed as the scourge of racism and police brutality plaguing African Americans.
Wisconsin Lieutenant Governor
In 2018 as well, Barnes was the running mate of Wisconsin gubernatorial candidate Tony Evers and was elected as the state’s Lieutenant Governor.
Supporting the Black Lives Matter Protests & Riots Against “White Supremacist Ideology”
After the infamous death of George Floyd in Minneapolis in May 2020, Barnes stated that the ensuing tsunami of protests and violent riots – led by Black Lives Matter in many U.S. states including Wisconsin — were the acts of righteous people “stepping up for good reason” – i.e., to condemn what Barnes viewed as the twin epidemics of police brutality and white racism pervading American society. Indeed, he went so far as to declare that the uprisings which followed Floyd’s death were a “sight to behold and something that makes me very proud.” Attributing the widespread unrest to the fact that there was a lack of racial “equity” amongst American citizens, Barnes explained:
“It’s frustration. It’s frustration. You can’t tell people how to be frustrated. And I go back to the same point over and over again. This didn’t come out of nowhere. Folks didn’t just wake up and decide that ‘we’re gonna break some glass, we’re gonna set some things on fire.’ […] So more than damage, destruction and rebellion, it is frustration. And it didn’t get this way out of nowhere. The onus falls on all elected leadership, all decision-makers who failed to address the crisis before it got to this point.”
Further, Barnes said it was vital for the United States to embrace “change” and to “snap out of the white supremacist ideology.”
In a series of tweets which he posted on July 4, 2020, Barnes wrote that “our country’s history and the ways in which we fail to live up to our highest ideals, can make this day difficult to celebrate.” He went on to state: “This nation has a long tradition of injustice—from enslaving Africans and selling them as property to genocidal actions against Indigenous peoples, to the forms of systemic racism and violence Black, Indigenous, and other communities of color experience to this day.”
In a similar spirit, Barnes tweeted on June 2, 2020: “This country was built by stolen labor on stolen land.” He also claimed that although Americans “have always been” land thieves and exploiters, they had an obligation to “all work to change that.”
Supporter of Defunding the Police
On June 10, 2020, Barnes tweeted his support for the defunding of police departments across the United States: “We need to invest more in neighborhoods and community services. The more money we invest in opportunity for people, the less money we have to spend on police and prisons.”
U.S. Senate Campaign: Barnes’ Supporters & Issue Priorities
In July 2021, Barnes officially launched his bid to Senator Ron Johnson in Wisconsin. His campaign has focused heavily on the importance of defending the right to taxpayer-funded abortion-on-demand up until the very moment of birth. “I’ll vote to codify Roe vs. Wade into law once and for all,” he vowed. Meanwhile, Barnes characterizes Ron Johnson’s views on abortion as “extreme” and “alarming.”
Other top policy priorities of Barnes’ bid for the Senate include: the payment of a “living wage” for child care workers; universal pre-K; a “path to citizenship” for millions of illegal aliens; the legalization of marijuana; the ending of the Senate filibuster rule; and the enactment of a Green New Deal and Medicare for All.
Anti-American Promoter of Critical Race Theory
In August 2021, Barnes referred to the founding of the United States as an “awful” historical event. His comment came amid a speech in which he defended the promotion of the tenets of Critical Race Theory (CRT) — which is centered around the theme of America’s timeless and irredeemable track record of evil — in school classrooms. Regarding what he saw as the motives of those who opposed such instruction, Barnes said: “Imagine being so ashamed of how we got to this place in America that you outlaw teaching.”
In the final analysis, Barnes views America as nothing more than a racist cesspool that is utterly unworthy of anyone’s genuine respect, and his political priorities are to:
foment an everlasting state of racial grievance and disharmony;
permit the nation’s streets to teem with violent criminals;
make it harder for citizens to protect themselves against assailants and home invaders;
make it impossible to have secure and fair elections that the people can have faith in;
increase the political leverage of convicted criminals for decades to come;
disparage and defund police departments from coast to coast;
promote socialism and statism under the guise of environmentalism;
empower coldblooded government bureaucrats to dominate the nation’s healthcare system; and
empower his own party to exploit even a tiny, temporary majority in the U.S. Senate to ram a radical agenda down the throat of 340 million Americans and enshrine it forever as permanent law
In other words, Mandela Barnes is a Democrat.
Warnock’s church owns 99 percent of Columbia Tower through a network of shell companies linked to a charity it controls, which identifies Warnock as its principal officer. The Georgia Secretary of State’s Securities and Charities Division launched an investigation into Ebenezer’s charity on Oct. 12, seeking to discover why it has been operating in the state without registering with state authorities, the Free Beaconreported.

A maintenance man charged with brutally murdering a tenant. A sex offender who slept in the hallways. A dead body left in an apartment for days, found covered in flies.
These are just a few disturbing tales of the living conditions in apartments owned by Sen. Raphael Warnock’s (D., Ga.) church, gathered from interviews with residents and hundreds of pages of Atlanta Police Department, Fire Department, and court records obtained by the Washington Free Beacon.
Atlanta police and firefighters have been called to Columbia Tower and the Columbia Senior Residences at MLK Village in Atlanta hundreds of times since 2020, the records show. Responding officers have been met with corpses and people trapped in elevators, as well as fights, burglaries, and car thefts. Both buildings are owned by the Ebenezer Baptist Church, where Warnock serves as senior pastor.
The Free Beacon also learned that Columbia Tower management hired a convicted murderer now charged with killing a female tenant who lived with him at Columbia Senior Residences, which is just across the street from the apartment building.
"They hired a guy who killed his girlfriend. He was the maintenance guy who was living in the senior building and he had a record already," a resident told the Free Beacon in October. "Why would you hire a person like that who has keys to the building? I understand second chances, but this person already had a background in murdering someone, and you give him keys to our apartment?"
The records could pose problems for Warnock, who is seeking to defeat Republican challenger Herschel Walker amid rising crime. Crime is one of Atlanta voters' main concerns heading into next week's midterm elections, polls show. Homicides have increased in Atlanta by at least 60 percent since 2019, according to 11Alive News, citing Atlanta Police Department crime data.
Warnock has advocated for softer crime policies, including ending cash bail. He has criticized the American prison system as a "scandal on the soul of America," and called to end "mass incarceration." Warnock has also championed safe housing during his time in the Senate, saying earlier this year that "housing is dignity."
But records tell another story. Police have been called to Columbia Tower and the Columbia Senior Residences over 150 times since January, in response to allegations of larceny, fighting, and criminal trespassing. The Fire Department has been called to Columbia Tower 153 times since January 2020, sometimes to rescue people trapped or stranded due to broken elevators.
Firefighters also reported making gruesome discoveries at the apartment building.
"The person was stiff as a board and his jaw was locked," firefighters reported in April 2020 upon conducting a welfare check on a resident who was missing for three days. "Engine 10 crew checked for a pulse and there was no pulse. The person appears to have been dead for a couple of days because there were a lot of flys [sic] around the person. This was an elderly male."
Firefighters discovered another dead body at the apartment complex in January 2021. "E10 investigated and checked for a pulse, no pulse was found," an incident report states.
In August, a man reported that his car was stolen from the back parking lot. In July, Atlanta police detained a man who "continues to trespass on the property by sleeping in the hallway of the building on the third floor," according to a police report. The man, a sex offender with a history of violence and an outstanding warrant, had been subject to a no-trespassing court order by Columbia Residential months earlier, but continued to enter the building, an employee told police.
In the spring of 2020, Columbia Residential hired a new maintenance man named Anthony Bernard Stokes, a convicted murderer who had been released from prison two years earlier after serving decades for a 1992 homicide. Fulton County prosecutors allege that just months after he started the job, Stokes killed his 56-year-old girlfriend, Sean Macklin, in the apartment they shared at Columbia Senior Residences.
Stokes had a key to every room in Columbia Tower when he worked at the apartment building, residents told the Free Beacon.
Shortly after Stokes started working at Columbia Tower, Macklin’s daughter reported her missing after not hearing from her for several days. The daughter said Macklin previously told her that Stokes "had broke bones in her feet with a hammer amongst other injuries in the recent past," according to an arrest affidavit.
Investigators claimed Stokes killed Macklin in the early morning hours of Nov. 6, 2020, and disposed of her body, potentially with the aid of the building’s garbage system, according to an arrest affidavit. They said Stokes was seen in surveillance footage around 4:48 a.m. leaving the apartment and walking to the parking lot, where he unsuccessfully tried to "cover the surveillance camera up with a black plastic bag." He then pulled his truck "around the corner to the driveway that contains the trash compactor," which was out of view of cameras.
The bed of Stokes’s truck was empty when he backed up to the compactor. But a few minutes later, he was spotted on camera driving away with "numerous items in the bed of the truck including an extra-large box," according to the affidavit. A subsequent police search of the apartment found traces of blood on the floor, countertop, and bathroom door handle, according to the affidavit.
In May 2020, around the time Columbia Residential hired Stokes, firefighters reported that an unnamed maintenance worker refused to open a locked apartment room door in which a Columbia Tower resident was "screaming and making strange noises as if he was having trouble breathing."
"The next door neighbor called building maintenance and advised them to come open the apartment door for unit … and the maintenance guy stated that he would not do it," firefighters wrote in an incident report. "Since the maintenance worker would not open the door, Engine 10 had to force it open and break it."
"Patient had a facial droop as if he had a stroke and fell to the ground," firefighters reported. The man was cool to the touch and could not speak, but was alert, firefighters added.
It’s not clear if the unnamed maintenance worker who refused to open the door was Stokes. Columbia Residential did not return a request for comment.
Fire department incident reports for Columbia Tower appear to corroborate accounts of residents who told the Free Beacon in October that they’ve witnessed firefighters hauling their handicapped neighbors to and from their rooms because of the building’s chronically broken elevators.
"Invalid Occupants unable to get to their apartments due to elevators not working in the building," firefighters said in a March 2022 incident report. "Contacted building manager who came to the scene to ensure the elevators were fixed."
Firefighters have had to rescue several residents trapped inside Columbia Tower’s malfunctioning elevators on two occasions, one in July 2020, and another in March 2022, incident reports show.
Firefighters said in a March 2021 incident report they couldn’t carry a Columbia Tower resident up to her 12th-floor room, and that she would have to wait for maintenance to fix the elevators. In September 2021, however, firefighters reported assisting an elderly resident down the stairs from her room on the 7th floor of the building.
Warnock’s church, which pays the senator a $7,417 monthly housing allowance, owns Columbia Tower through a network of shell organizations connected to the Ebenezer Building Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charity that delegates all management duties to the church and identifies Warnock as its principal officer in its IRS Form 990 filings.
Warnock’s church also owns Columbia Senior Residences through a similar arrangement. According to Fulton County property records, the complex is owned by MLK Village Real Estate Holdings LLC, a company founded in 2016 by Kenneth Palmer, a member of the Ebenezer Baptist Church Board of Trustees. The LLC also shares the address as the church, Georgia business records show.
‘Highly Hazardous’: Warnock’s Apartments Hit With Housing Code Violations Over Rats, Mold, Electrical Fires

Sen. Raphael Warnock's (D., Ga.) church-owned low-income apartment complex has been slapped with multiple Atlanta city housing code violations over rodent and bug infestations, hazardous mold, and overflowing trash rooms, according to city records obtained by the Washington Free Beacon.
Records from the Atlanta Police Department's Code Enforcement Section paint a troubling picture of the living conditions at the housing complex—revealing that the problems date back to at least 2016 and were considered serious enough for the city to intervene on multiple occasions.
The records raise new questions for Warnock, who serves as CEO and senior pastor of Ebenezer Baptist Church, which owns 99 percent of the Columbia Tower buildings through a shell company. Since taking office in 2021, the senator has positioned himself as a champion for fair and safe housing and said earlier this year that "housing is dignity."
Warnock has defended the church's ownership of Columbia Tower and Columbia Senior Residences at MLK Village apartments after the Free Beacon first reported in October on the building's eviction proceedings against tenants. In a recent debate, Warnock said the report on the evictions was an attempt to "sully the name of Martin Luther King Jr.'s church," which spends "every day every week feeding the hungry and the homeless."
Warnock in January sent a letter to the Department of Defense in response to reports about "repair delays, toxic mold, pests," and other housing problems on U.S. military bases.
Warnock said it was "shameful" that service members "had to deal with these poor living conditions in the first place."
"Housing is dignity," he wrote. "I will continue pushing the federal government to make sure we're doing everything we can to provide our courageous men and women in uniform, and their families, with the resources and support they need not just to live, but thrive."
Yet Warnock hasn't publicly raised concerns about similar complaints from residents at the housing complex owned by his church.
The Free Beacon received over 70 pages of inspection records, tenant complaints, photographs, and correspondence from the Atlanta Police Department's Code Enforcement Section, which led to at least four housing code violations against Columbia between 2016 and 2019.
In August 2016, the city of Atlanta received tenant complaints about "mice, roaches, and bugs infestation" at Columbia Tower. Inspectors found that the "dwelling unit is infested by insects" and cited Columbia for a housing maintenance violation.
Two years later, the city filed another code violation notice against Columbia, after multiple complaints about water leakage, flooding, and overflowing trash around the building that was attracting "rodents such as rats and possums." Inspectors cited "junk, trash, & debris on premises" and "ceiling surfaces [that] are soiled and unsanitary" in the violation notice, which included photos of water damage and piles of garbage.
In October 2019, a tenant told the city that he had been dealing with a bug infestation for eight months and said he had health problems due to overflowing trash outside his apartment. "Dumpster fumes are affecting his health," said the complaint, a situation that the city flagged as "highly hazardous." Another tenant reported in 2020 that his "baseboard [was] missing, causing spiders to come inside the apartments," which had been "going on since October."
Water damage and flooding were also a problem, according to records. Columbia received another violation notice in June 2018 after a tenant complained that water leaking inside her walls was "causing electrical problems such as blue flames when she turn[s] on the lights," according to a record. A photograph appeared to show fire damage on the electrical outlet. The city flagged the violation as "highly hazardous."
The city in September 2019 filed another housing violation citation against Columbia, which included photos of black mold growing in a closet, water damage, and dead bugs. Inspectors cited an "infestation of roaches," "soiled cabinets/mold," an "unsanitary trash room," and an "unsanitary stairway" in the building.
The records echo firsthand accounts from Columbia residents, who talked to the Free Beacon in October and said there are still extensive sanitation and maintenance problems at the housing complex.
"We have a smell here," one resident told the Free Beacon. "The trash room has this overwhelming trash smell. As soon as you come in the building, it inundates you. It's just in your face. And it's embarrassing."
Residents said the building management lets garbage pile up in the trash rooms and the building's chute for days, leading to an overflow of waste.
"The aroma of the trash was so horrific and ridiculous," said another resident, who lives on the first floor of the building near the waste room.
Another tenant told the Free Beacon about filth in the building's ventilation system, saying, "The vents haven't been blown out for years. The dust, it's sickening, actually."
Warnock signed a letter in 2019 comparing Israel’s actions in the West Bank with "the military occupation of Namibia by apartheid South Africa." In 2013, he also defended the Nation of Islam, a radical group led by anti-Semitic preacher Louis Farrakhan, for keeping black churches "honest."

At a voter outreach event on Saturday, Georgia Democratic senator Raphael Warnock’s church featured a fiery sermon from a reverend who denounced evangelical Christianity as the "ideological basis" for slavery and white supremacy.
The Ebenezer Baptist Church, where Warnock serves as senior pastor, hosted a "Super Voter Saturday" panel discussion last weekend and aired a pre-taped 2020 sermon by Rev. Billy Honor. The event took place just a few days before voters will head to the polls in Georgia, which has one of the largest evangelical Christian populations in the United States.
"There is nothing about evangelical white Christianity that would make you think it values black lives," said Honor in the sermon. "The fact is that this is a tradition that devalues black bodies, so much so that the devaluing of black bodies is about as American as apple pie."
While Warnock did not speak at the event, his name was at the top of a welcome message to attendees that played at the beginning of the program. The sermon could reignite concerns about Warnock’s own controversial statements and promotion of extremist rhetoric, including a sermon in which he said Americans need to repent for their "whiteness" and his defense of anti-Semitic pastor Rev. Jeremiah Wright.
Honor added that "evangelical Christianity" was the "ideological basis for the enslavement of Africans, the expansion of white supremacy, the resistance to reconstruction, the acceptance of racial segregation laws, and the recent dismissal of the Black Lives Matter movement to end murders of black bodies by police."
Warnock’s opponent, Republican Herschel Walker, said the sermon promoted "division and hate" and slammed Warnock for hosting it at his church.
"Raphael Warnock and his allies believe America is a bad country full of hateful people," Walker told the Washington Free Beacon. "They even smear evangelicals who love Jesus as racist. They should be ashamed."
"Their politics of division and hate has gone too far, and I won’t let them get away with it," Walker added. "I’m going to fight for our state and our country. Love is stronger than hate, and with God’s help we will defeat them and prove that grace and hope is more powerful than their lies and division."
Warnock did not respond to a request for comment.
White evangelicals make up over a quarter of registered voters in Georgia, according to a Marist poll conducted in September.
Tiffany Roberts, the social justice chair at Ebenezer, introduced the video and told the audience on Saturday that Honor "delivered [this] sermon for us at Ebenezer two years ago about Jesus’ legacy as a social justice warrior and the importance of the vote" and called it "one of my favorite sermons in life." The replayed speech was followed by a live, in-person panel discussion about voter outreach that included organizers from liberal groups Care in Action and When We All Vote.
Warnock argued in late 2016 that Americans needed to "repent" for their "worship of whiteness," the Washington Free Beaconreported in 2020. He also defended a speech by anti-Semitic pastor Rev. Jeremiah Wright—which compared U.S. leaders to al Qaeda and claimed the government invented HIV to kill black people—as a "very fine sermon."

He is friendly with Barack Obama. A taxpayer-funded mural in New York features his image. Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Gaza) wrote a column for Farrakhan’s blog. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has denounced Kanye West, but she has never denounced Farrakhan. Ilhan Omar has never denounced Farrakhan. Rashida Tlaib has never denounced Farrakhan. Nor has Joe Biden.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has denounced Kanye West, but she has never denounced Farrakhan. Ilhan Omar has never denounced Farrakhan. Rashida Tlaib has never denounced Farrakhan. Nor has Joe Biden.
Three days out from an attack on House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband in their San Francisco home, we still know precious little about the attacker’s motivations—or, for that matter, about what precipitated the attack itself.
That hasn’t stopped Democratic politicians and their allies in the mainstream media from fingering the culprits—their Republican adversaries—and concluding that, eight days out from an election in which they are bracing for a shellacking, the GOP should spend the final week of the campaign sitting on the bench, reflecting, atoning. How convenient. How cravenly and transparently political.
Pelosi herself, meanwhile, is fundraising on the back of the attack. This is the message tacked to the bottom of an email blast from her office that landed in inboxes on Saturday evening:
To hear the media tell it, Republicans are responsible for the attack and, while Pelosi raises money in this final week, they must cry uncle. Chuck Todd noted with surprise on NBC’s Meet the Press on Sunday that ads against Pelosi "are still on the air."
Punchbowl News on Friday suggested there was something untoward about Republican National Committee chairwoman Ronna McDaniel and Ohio Senate candidate J.D. Vance urging voters to "fire Pelosi"—or, as they put it, employing "the ‘fire Pelosi’ rhetoric."
The media hive mind is real, and—lo and behold—the geniuses at the Washington Post also traced the attacks to "a ‘Fire Pelosi’ project—complete with a bus tour, a #FIREPELOSI hashtag and images of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) engulfed in Hades-style flames—devoted to retaking the House and demoting Pelosi from her perch as speaker." The audacity!
Enter former president Barack Obama with a warning that "demonizing" people and stirring up division is dangerous. When he came to this realization isn’t entirely clear—certainly many years after sitting in the pews listening to his friend Jeremiah Wright and cavorting with Louis Farrakhan, but not before arguing that Republicans are warmongers whohave a lot in common with Iran’s Revolutionary Guard.
We know Obama’s exhortation only swings one way. Democrats are of course still out there trying to discern the motive for the attacks on the novelist Salman Rushdie, New York gubernatorial candidate Lee Zeldin (R.), and Rep. Steve Scalise (R., La.).
It’s been just a few months since the New York Times got clear of defamation charges over the outrageous attempt to pin the shooting of Gabby Giffords on Sarah Palin. How about the Atlanta spa shooting that was pinned on the anti-Asian rhetoric of the Republican Party? Again, total nonsense. But the Democrats who write the news are in lockstep with the Democrats who make the news—and, of course, the Democrats who stand to benefit from Republicans sitting out the last week of the campaign.
Enough already. We await the conclusions of investigators in the Paul Pelosi case with an open mind and the knowledge that these things are often not what they first appear. In the meantime, Republicans should campaign hard until the polls close. Nancy Pelosi sure will be.

Biden administration grants immunity to Saudi crown prince, murderer of Jamal Khashoggi
The US State Department has granted immunity to Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, shielding him from prosecution for the murder of Saudi political dissident and legal permanent US resident Jamal Khashoggi. The decision was disclosed last week and widely reported on Friday.
This action shows that the Biden administration’s claim to defend democracy and human rights—the supposed justification for its intervention in the Ukraine war and around the world—is a flat-out lie.
Biden said contemptuously during his visit to Saudi Arabia last May, when journalists questioned him about the murder and dismemberment of Khashoggi by a hit squad inside the Saudi consulate in Istanbul, Turkey, “Why don’t you guys talk about something that matters? I’m happy to answer a question that matters.” That is the authentic, arrogant voice of US imperialism.

The State Department was responding to an official query from a federal judge hearing the civil suit brought by Khashoggi’s fiancée, Hatice Cengiz, and a human rights group Khashoggi had founded, seeking to hold bin Salman accountable for the murder. It issued instructions to the US Department of Justice to intervene in the case by informing the judge that bin Salman had sovereign immunity, “which the United States has consistently and across administrations applied to heads of state, heads of government and foreign ministers while they are in office.”
The action appeared to be coordinated with the Saudi regime, since in September bin Salman was appointed prime minister by his father, the king, who, according to Saudi custom, had carried the title of prime minister, with his son as deputy prime minister. That appointment meant that bin Salman now qualified for the exemption from legal liability. Bin Salman has not traveled to Europe or the United States since the Khashoggi murder in 2018 to avoid possible legal problems.
Biden claimed during the 2020 election campaign that he would make Saudi Arabia a “pariah” on the world scene because of the Khashoggi murder. Once in office, he released an assessment by the CIA—which has vast experience both in murders and their cover-up—that bin Salman ordered the killing of Khashoggi, which was carried out under the direction of his personal security chief.
Fred Ryan, the publisher of the Washington Post, where Khashoggi wrote a regular op-ed column focused on the Middle East, and particularly the Saudi monarchy, denounced the State Department, saying in a statement, “President Biden is failing to uphold America’s most cherished values. He’s granting a license to kill to one of the world’s most egregious human rights abusers.”
The record of bloody tyranny in Saudi Arabia extends far beyond the gruesome killing of Khashoggi. The monarchic regime kills dozens of its own subjects every year, mainly through public beheadings and hangings, especially targeting advocates of the rights of the country’s Shia minority, who live mainly in the oil-rich Eastern Province. In the the most recent mass execution, last March, 81 men were beheaded at bin Salman’s orders.
None of this matters compared to the Saudi supply of oil to the world market and its lucrative arms purchases, mainly from American manufacturers, to bolster its critical military role in the Arabian Peninsula and against Iran, just across the Persian Gulf. Biden traveled to Riyadh in May to make amends with bin Salman for his campaign rhetoric and plead with the de facto Saudi ruler to boost production to offset the cutoff of Russian supplies as a result of the war in Ukraine. Instead, bin Salman recently ordered a reduction in Saudi production, evidently seeking to force more US concessions, including the State Department declaration last week.
Biden’s rapprochement with bin Salman is part of a broader pattern, in which Washington cultivates a network of autocrats and murderers around the world in order to maintain its global domination. Two weeks ago Biden traveled to Egypt to attend the UN-sponsored COP27 climate summit. There he was welcomed by the country’s military dictator, President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, shaking hands stained with the blood of thousands of Egyptian workers and youth massacred in the 2013 military coup that suppressed a budding revolutionary movement.
Biden praised el-Sisi’s role in Gaza, where the military regime has helped prop up Israeli domination of nearly two million Palestinians by policing and virtually closing the enclave’s border with Egypt. He pledged to preserve “our strong defense partnership,” expressing the hope that “we can even say we’re closer and stronger in every way.”

This week, Biden’s vice president, Kamala Harris, is meeting with Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., who aims to reprise his father’s role as a dictatorial ruler of that country. Harris traveled to Manila Sunday after attending the summit of the Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN) in Thailand.
In Bangkok, she had a cordial chat with Thai military ruler Prayut Chan-o-cha, who suppresses workers and small farmers on behalf of the monarchy, the big financial interests, and the imperialist powers, especially the US and Japan. According to the official readout of the meeting, the two leaders “discussed our security cooperation... and the benefits our alliance provides for our people as we promote a free and open Indo-Pacific.” That is diplomatic jargon for Thailand lining up with the US-led campaign against China.
The readout said Harris “reaffirmed the enduring partnership between the United States and Thailand, one that is rooted in common values, and discussed efforts to strengthen our cooperation across a range of bilateral and global issues.” Thailand’s military rulers have dispersed parliaments, rigged elections, banned opposition parties and violently suppressed antigovernment protests. To claim “common values” has an ominous ring.
Both Democratic and Republican senators spoke out in support of the State Department announcement, citing the geopolitical interests of American imperialism in the Middle East as the overriding issue. Democratic Senator Mark Warner of Virginia said, “We need to be enough of a realist to realize that Saudi Arabia has been a bulwark against Iran. It is a leader in a very messy part of the world.”
Republican Senator Tom Cotton was even blunter. Asked about the issue during an interview on “Fox News Sunday,” he said, “Look, if we didn’t have allies and partners who don’t always share our political systems, our cultural and social sensibilities, we wouldn’t have any allies and partners. Saudi Arabia has been an important partner of the United States for 80 years. Presidents of both parties have worked with them.”
He continued, “[W]hat matters most about governments around the world is less whether they’re democratic or nondemocratic and more whether they’re pro-American or anti-American. And the simple fact is, Saudi Arabia has been an American partner going back 80 years.”
There is another issue in the embrace of the murderer of Khashoggi by the Biden administration, one which is perhaps even more important than the specific role of the Saudi regime in US foreign policy. As the State Department statement said, “Across administrations, there is an unbroken practice of the United States recognizing immunity for heads of government while they are in office—and we expect other governments to do the same for the United States.”
Former State Department lawyer Brian Finucane told the Washington Post that every US administration was concerned about American officials being prosecuted in foreign courts for war crimes and other charges. “Reciprocity concerns lie at the core of this rule,” he told the newspaper.
When it comes to murder and other barbaric acts, bin Salman, el-Sisi and Marcos Jr. cannot hold a candle to an American president. The victims of American military aggression, “targeted killings,” and economic blockades (Iraq, Iran, North Korea) number in the millions. No government since Hitler’s Germany has killed so many. Thus every American president fears legal consequences.
It is for that reason that the United States has refused, under both Democratic and Republican presidents, to join the International Criminal Court (ICC), and Congress even passed legislation authorizing US military action to rescue any American brought before the tribunal in The Hague, Netherlands.
As the leaders of the most powerful imperialist power, Biden & Co. can defy the toothless machinery of the United Nations and the ICC with impunity, as well as whitewashing the bloody crimes of their allies and stooges like bin Salman. Their downfall will not come through bourgeois diplomatic institutions, but through the mobilization of the American and world working class in a revolutionary movement against the capitalist system as a whole.
After being described as “partners” by the Biden administration, the Taliban announced that they’re bringing back sharia punishments by chopping off hands and stoning their victims.
Last year, the Biden administration had praised the Taliban’s “openness” to women’s rights.
This development puts the nail in the coffin of claims by Biden administration figures that the Jihadist organization had changed into a kinder, gentler Taliban. But the media has conveniently ignored revelations of the close collaboration between the administration and the Taliban.
Front Page Magazine was one of the few conservative publications that exposed the over $1.1 billion in aid directed by the administration after the Taliban takeover, the special licenses issued by the Biden administration authorizing financial transactions with the Taliban and Al Qaeda’s Haqqani Network to distribute that aid, and the billions stolen from 9/11 families for the Taliban.
The Biden administration has been stonewalling the Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction with the State Department and Samantha Power’s USAID refusing to allow employees to be interviewed about, among other things, their “compliance with the laws and regulations prohibiting transfers of funds to members of the Taliban and the Haqqani Network”.
Instead, the Biden administration has been chartering Osama bin Laden’s old airline which had been used to ferry drugs and terrorists to evacuate the Americans that Biden had left behind. These hostages have become another cash cow that the Taliban are using to extract money from American taxpayers through the offices of their allies in the Biden administration.
Biden administration figures have repeatedly met with Taliban leaders. According to Al Jazeera, run by the state sponsors of the Islamic terror group, the administration had even provided assurances that the United States will not fund any resistance to the Taliban.
Coming a few months after Al Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri was killed while under Taliban protection, a “high-level delegation” that allegedly included a top CIA figure, agreed not to “fund any armed groups or non-state actors in the country”, particularly the National Resistance Front, consisting of the Northern Alliance members who had originally helped us liberate Afghanistan.
This betrayal came even after clear evidence that the Taliban were harboring Al Qaeda.
Why would the Biden administration unilaterally throw away our best leverage against the Taliban without getting them to end their support for Al Qaeda and other terror groups?
The Biden administration then went beyond just appropriating $1.1 billion in humanitarian aid, much of which will benefit the Taliban in one way or another, while authorizing transactions with the terrorists, but actually conspired to print money for the Taliban to replace their old bills.
According to Biden’s State Department spokesman, the administration was “working hard with international banks to facilitate payment transfers from Afghanistan’s central bank to European printing companies where new banknotes would actually be produced” to “replace what had been crumbling banknotes in Afghanistan”.
Spokesman Ned Price explained that, “Afghanistan’s markets, even today, run widely on cash, but existing banknotes are crumbling. And that’s why this is such an urgent challenge.”
The Biden administration’s idea of an “urgent challenge” in Afghanistan isn’t preventing Al Qaeda from reforming, it’s not getting out Americans, or stopping the Taliban from stoning people, it’s arranging for a Polish printing company to churn out banknotes for the Taliban.
It’s not enough for the Biden administration to steal billions from 9/11 families and send it to the Taliban, it has to go all the way and actually print money for the Islamic terrorist group.
Thanks to Biden, the Taliban will get 10 billion in ‘Afghanis’ from Poland and another 10 billion from a French company. $3.5 billion in assets in the United States are being transferred to a Swiss trust fund held for the Taliban so that a future administration won’t be able to recover it.
The Biden administration claims to be concerned about Taliban atrocities and then continues to enable the terrorists.
Karen Decker, the head of the U.S. Mission to Afghanistan, conducted a “listening tour” of Afghan women who fled the Taliban and claimed that she shares their “concerns and their hope.” Then she described printing money for the Taliban as “part of our commitment to help the Afghan people”. The only Afghan people that she’s helping are the Taliban.
Thomas West, Biden’s Special Representative to Afghanistan, boasted, “I am very pleased to say that in the past 24 hours we have finally seen the conclusion of two currency transactions.”
There is no other conclusion to be drawn from these latest revelations except that the Biden administration wants the Taliban to remain in power. And has been consistently scheming to bypass legal restrictions on funding terrorism to funnel money to the Taliban.
A responsible administration that served our national interests would be providing a fraction of the aid to the National Resistance Front and other anti-Taliban groups that it’s funneling to Ukraine, and it would, at the very least, use sanctions to undermine the Taliban regime.
Instead, Biden is laboring to protect the Taliban and to keep the terrorists in power.
That’s the same conclusion that the Taliban have drawn. That’s why after prolonged hesitation and doubletalk, they are shedding any pretense about their intentions.
The Taliban’s Supreme Leader Haibatullah Akhundzada ordered judges to impose “the ruling of sharia” on, among others, “seditionists” and “apostates”.
“Those cases that have met all the Shariah conditions of limitation and retribution, you are obliged to issue the limitation and retribution, because this is the order of the Sharia and my order and it is obligatory to act,” the Taliban’s spokesman tweeted.
The Taliban have begun a comprehensive crackdown using the traditional brutal punishments of Islam. They’re testing the Biden administration and know that they have nothing to worry about.
Supreme Leader Akhundzada had been a chief judge in the Taliban’s court system during their original period of rule when they became notorious for inflicting grotesque and horrifying punishments on anyone who displeased them.
Nothing has really changed.
Last year, the Taliban captured Danish Siddiqui, the chief photographer for Reuters, in a mosque, beat and tortured him, ran him over with a car, and shot him at close range.
The same media, including Reuters, which has amplified Qatari propaganda about its Al Jazeera terrorist operatives, like Jamal Khashoggi in Turkey and Shireen Abu Akleh in Israel, has remained mostly silent about this atrocity against an actual journalist by the allies of Qatar.
The Biden administration, which has attacked Saudi Arabia over Khashoggi’s death and announced an FBI investigation of Israel over Abu Akleh’s death, has made no such efforts over the mutilation and murder of Siddiqui. Biden condemned the Saudis and the Israelis over Khashoggi and Abu Akleh, but never once mentioned Siddiqui’s name.
Jalina Porter, until recently a Washington Wizards cheerleader, who was elevated to a State Department spokeswoman, failed to condemn the Taliban after Siddiqui’s brutal murder, but only called for “an end to the violence” and a “just and durable peace settlement.”
The complicity and the double standards spoke eloquently about the administration’s agenda.
Last year, the Taliban’s Supreme Leader made his position clear to the rest of the world, “I cannot compromise on Shariah to work with you or even move a step forward.” He warned that “even if the world uses an atomic bomb, we will rule the country according to the Sharia Law.”
That was back in July.
The Biden administration and its media allies knew that they were lying about the kinder, gentler Taliban and their openness to human rights. They told those lies to keep the money flowing.
After robbing 9/11 families, diverting money to the Taliban under a dozen pretexts, including payments for hostages that the Biden administration chose to leave behind, and even collaborating in printing money for the terrorist group, there will be a brief condemnation as the Taliban resume openly mutilating, killing and torturing victims through their Islamic courts.
But the Biden administration will make sure to keep taxpayer money flowing to the terrorists.
The shameful treason we saw at the panicked evacuation of Afghanistan was not the climax, it was the middle of a conspiracy to put the Taliban in power by the enemies of America. Those enemies are not just in Moscow, Tehran or Beijing, they are right here in Washington D.C.

Biden Administration Requests Immunity for Saudi Crown Prince MBS in Khashoggi Case
The U.S. Department of Justice declared in a court filing on Thursday that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman should receive immunity from a lawsuit filed by the fiance of slain Washington Post columnist Jamal Khashoggi.
Khashoggi disappeared in October 2018 after visiting the Saudi consulate in Istanbul, Turkey, reportedly to obtain documents necessary to marry his fiance Hatice Cengiz. His body has never been found, though Turkish investigators concluded that Saudi government officials killed and dismembered the journalist. Khashoggi was an Islamist writer and critic of the Saudi royal family, leading to accusations that Mohammed bin Salman, known commonly as MBS, ordered the killing.
“This was a heinous crime,” MBS said in 2019. “But I take full responsibility as a leader in Saudi Arabia, especially since it was committed by individuals working for the Saudi government.”
MBS has denied, however, ordering the killing and insisted it was a “mistake.”
Leftist American President Joe Biden repeatedly touted the Khashoggi killing as a matter of great importance to him and vowed while running for president to turn the nation of Saudi Arabia itself into a global “pariah.” The pariah campaign appeared to abruptly end this summer, when Biden organized a visit to the country and met with MBS personally, greeting him with a fist bump in the city of Jeddah.
The Justice Department filing in Cengiz’s lawsuit, which named the crown prince as a defendant, declared that MBS was eligible for legal immunity because his father, King Salman, had appointed him prime minister of the country in September. The Justice Department intervened in the suit in response to a State Department request.
“Prime Minister bin Salman as a sitting head of government is immune while in office from the jurisdiction of the United States District Court in this suit,” the filing reportedly read.
“The State Department recognizes and allows the immunity of Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman as sitting head of government of a foreign state,” it continued, adding, “In making this immunity determination, the Department of State takes no view on the merits of the present suit and reiterates its unequivocal condemnation of the heinous murder of Jamal Khashoggi.”
The filing echoes requests by the crown prince’s lawyers for their client to be dismissed from the case on legal immunity grounds.
“The royal order [promoting MBS to prime minister] leaves no doubt that the Crown Prince is entitled to status-based immunity,” the attorneys wrote in a petition in early October, shortly after MBS received the prime minister title.
Cengiz, who filed the suit, pilloried Biden personally in statements on Twitter following the submission of the filing in defense of MBS’s immunity.
“Jamal died again today,” she wrote. “Biden saved the murderer by granting immunity. He saved the criminal and got involved in the crime himself”:
Democracy for the Arab World Now (DAWN), a human rights organization founded by Khashoggi serving as co-plaintiff in the case, also expressed disgust with Biden personally and his administration on Thursday.
“It’s really beyond ironic that President Biden has basically delivered an assurance of impunity for Mohammed bin Salman, which is the exact opposite of what he promised to do to hold the killers of Jamal Khashoggi accountable,” Sarah Leah Whitson, DAWN executive director, said in a statement.
Democrats, and Biden in particular, spent much of 2019 condemning Saudi Arabia and expressing their belief that, rather than a gruesome mistake by consulate staff, Khashoggi’s killing was a direct order from MBS.
“Yes, and I said it at the time. Khashoggi was, in fact, murdered and dismembered, and I believe on the order of the crown prince,” Biden said during a debate against other Democrat party candidates in 2019. “And I would make it very clear we were not going to, in fact, sell more weapons to them, we were going to, in fact, make them pay the price and make them, in fact, the pariah that they are.”
“There’s very little social redeeming value in the present government in Saudi Arabia,” Biden asserted.
Biden’s decision to visit Saudi Arabia in July thus prompted widespread outrage, to which the White House reacted with a column in the Washington Post by the president. Biden titled the article “Why I’m Going to Saudi Arabia,” but he did not offer any explanation for his decision other than denying that he was seeking to convince the Saudis to produce more oil, thus bringing down gasoline prices at home.
“I know that there are many who disagree with my decision to travel to Saudi Arabia. My views on human rights are clear and long-standing,” Biden wrote, “and fundamental freedoms are always on the agenda when I travel abroad, as they will be during this trip, just as they will be in Israel and the West Bank.”
Shortly before arriving in Saudi Arabia, Biden ignored a request from Cengiz to discuss Khashoggi’s killing.
The visit to Saudi Arabia went poorly. A photo of Biden fist-bumping a smiling MBS prompted global outrage, to which Biden responded by claiming he addressed Khashoggi during his conversation with the crown prince.
“I was straightforward and direct when discussing it,” Biden said after the discussion. “I made my view crystal clear. I said very straightforwardly. For an American president to be silent on an issue of human rights is inconsistent with who we are and who I am.”
Saudi Foreign Affairs Minister Adel al-Jubeir, who was at the meeting, later claimed that Biden “took Saudi Arabia’s assurances at face value” that MBS did not order Khashoggi’s execution.
“T]he Crown Prince explained to him that this was a tragedy for Saudi Arabia and that those who were responsible for it have been investigated and faced [the] law and are now paying the price for the crime that was committed,” al-Jubeir told left-wing outlet CNN, “and we — the conversation then moved on in terms of the official discussions.”
Following Biden’s visit, the Wall Street Journal, citing anonymous sources, claimed in October that MBS “mocks President Biden in private, making fun of the 79-year-old’s gaffes and questioning his mental acuity.”
In an interview in March, MBS described Khashoggi’s killing as a violation of his, the crown prince’s, human rights.
“I feel, myself, that human rights law wasn’t applied to me,” MBS lamented to the Atlantic. “Article XI of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights states that any person is innocent until proven guilty. I didn’t get that right. So how can you talk to me about human rights without treating me according to my Article XI human rights? That doesn’t make sense.”

WASHINGTON, Nov 18 (Reuters) - The Biden administration ruled on Thursday that Saudi Arabian Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has immunity from a lawsuit over the murder of Jamal Khashoggi, drawing immediate condemnation from the slain journalist's former fiancee.
Khashoggi was killed and dismembered in October 2018 by Saudi agents in the Saudi consulate in Istanbul, an operation which U.S. intelligence believed was ordered by Prince Mohammed, who has been the kingdom's de facto ruler for several years.
"Jamal died again today," Khashoggi's ex-fiancée, Hatice Cengiz, said on Twitter minutes after the news became public. She added later: "We thought maybe there would be a light to justice from #USA But again, money came first."

The Saudi government communications office did not immediately respond to a request for comment on Friday.
A spokesperson for the Saudi consulate in Washington could not be reached for comment on Thursday evening, after business hours.
“This is a legal determination made by the State Department under longstanding and well-established principles of customary international law," a spokesperson for the White House National Security Council said in a written statement. "It has nothing to do with the merits of the case."
The spokesperson referred further questions to the State and Justice Departments.
In a document filed in U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, Justice Department attorneys wrote that "the doctrine of head of state immunity is well established in customary international law."
Justice Department lawyers said that the executive branch of U.S. government, referring to the Biden Administration, had "determined that defendant bin Salman, as the sitting head of a foreign government, enjoys head of state immunity from the jurisdiction of U.S. courts as a result of that office."
In late September, Saudi King Salman named Prince Mohammed prime minister in a royal decree which a Saudi official said was in line with responsibilities that the crown prince was already exercising.
"The Royal Order leaves no doubt that the Crown Prince is entitled to status-based immunity," lawyers for the prince said in an Oct. 3 petition requesting a federal district court in Washington dismiss the case, citing other cases where the United States has recognised immunity for a foreign head of state.

Biden was criticized for fist-bumping the crown prince on a visit to Saudi Arabia in July to discuss energy and security issues. The White House said Biden had told Prince Mohammed that he considered him responsible for Khashoggi's killing.
The prince, known by his initials MbS, has denied ordering Khashoggi's killing but acknowledged later that it took place "under my watch."
The longstanding alliance between the two countries was strained in October when a decision by the OPEC+ oil producer group led by Saudi Arabia to cut oil production unleashed a war of words between the White house and Riyadh.
The decision had raised concerns in Washington about the possibility of higher gasoline prices ahead of the November midterm elections. This latest move shows the administration's weakness vis-a-vis the kingdom, some analysts said.
"Deciding to grant sovereign immunity to MbS will send a very clear signal to him: that he should continue asserting Saudi Arabia's nationalist interests without compromise, even when these go directly against core interests of the United States," Cinzia Bianco, visiting fellow at the European Council on Foreign Relations, said.
Khashoggi had criticized the crown prince's policies in Washington Post columns. He had traveled to the Saudi consulate in Istanbul to obtain papers he needed to marry Cengiz, a Turkish citizen.
"It's beyond ironic that President Biden has single-handedly assured MBS can escape accountability when it was President Biden who promised the American people he would do everything to hold him accountable. Not even the Trump administration did this," Sarah Lee Whitson, a spokeswoman for Democracy for the Arab World Now, said in a written statement.
In a highly charged global atmosphere, the United States is keen to prevent its long-time ally from further distancing itself.
"Amid great power competition with Russia and China, the United States recognizes that Saudi has other options. And a further pivot of Saudi to the East must be prevented at all costs," Andreas Krieg, professor at King's College in London, said

Biden recently released Mohammed al-Qahtani, the 20th 9/11 hijacker, and Zuhail al-Sharabi, another hijacker for an expanded version of the 9/11 attacks from Guantanamo Bay, so it's only fitting that he's trying to cut a plea deal with the mastermind of the attacks.
Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the architect of the September 11 attacks, not to mention multiple other plots and acts of terror including the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center and the brutal murder of Daniel Pearl, was captured in March 2003.
19 years later the trial has yet to go anywhere.
In 2008, the process of charging Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and four others began.
Unfortunately a year later, the pro-terrorist administration of Barack Hussein Obama took office.
Attorney General Eric Holder announced that he wanted to bring Mohammed to a civilian court in New York. The backlash, especially from the families of 9/11 victims, was tremendous and the Obama administration overruled Holder. However Holder injected a poison pill into the system by going after the use of material gained through the terrorist leader's interrogations and even from a “Clean Team” that independently obtained a confession from Mohammed.
“It’s a statement about what this Administration is about,” Holder boasted.
As if anyone needed further reminding of what the Obama administration was really about.
After that everyone settled in for a decade of lawfare by Mohammed’s lawyers who carefully sabotaged any effort to move the case forward by demanding classified information involving the system set up to stop, capture and interrogate Islamic terrorists. And their client and his legal allies followed the Al Qaeda lawfare playbook by making all sorts of frivolous complaints, such as objecting to the presence of female personnel, to drag out the case.
Their game plan was to get the government to settle. And they almost made it once before.
A previous effort to cut a plea deal with Mohammed was thrown out when Attorney General Jeff Sessions demanded that military prosecutors cut out any such nonsense. But now it’s back.
The trial of Mohammed and other terrorists involved in the 9/11 attacks finally began in 2021 and after a series of hearings was shut down again due to the pandemic before being restarted.
The Biden administration has been aggressively pressuring the Department of Defense to shut down Guantanamo Bay and free all the terrorists. Mohammed and his legal allies understand that, like Obama, Biden wants to empty Gitmo. The 9/11 mastermind has effectively used that in the past by demanding that he serve out his sentence in Gitmo instead of in Colorado.
Mohammed and his legal defenders claimed that Gitmo was a better place for Muslims.
Even though Mohammed had confessed several times already, a plea deal would have the terror boss trade a guilty plea in exchange for prosecutors dropping the death penalty.
Attorney General Eric Holder had promised that Mohammed would receive the death penalty. Numerous politicians, both Democrats and Republicans, assured 9/11 families he would. But Mohammed understood that, like his Taliban allies, all he had to do was wait out America.
Americans would care less about the September 11 attacks with every year that passed. The families of those who were killed in the Islamic terrorist attacks would grow old or die. The political and military systems would grow tired of jumping through legal hoops and surrender.
And that is exactly what’s happening.
The Obama administration warped the morale and patriotic fiber of portions of the military. Court officials who were once disgusted to even be dealing with Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and Al Qaeda terrorists have been replaced by those who now ferociously advocate for them.
At the Gitmo trial of an Al Qaeda terrorist last year, military officials serving as a jury sent a shameful letter whining that the terrorist's interrogation was a "stain on the moral fiber of America" and "a source of shame.” The only stain here was in their treasonous cowardly letter and the only source of shame is that those who wrote it are still employed by the military.
The Biden administration is betting that it can cut a plea deal and clear the Mohammed case.
But in 2009, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and his fellow terrorists had already entered their "Islamic" response to the charges against them which declared that "killing you and fighting you, destroying you and terrorizing you" are "considered to be great legitimate duty in our religion."
Terrorism, the Islamic response explained, was an "offering" to Allah. It described the "blessed 11 September operation" as "our military attack".
That’s an official confession without any duress whatsoever.
The Islamic response also admitted that even without any of the named pretexts, "it would have been the greatest religious duty to fight you over your infidelity."
This infidelity was defined as “your statement that Allah had a son and your trinity beliefs.”
Al Qaeda would have been at war with America simply because it’s a Christian country.
“Our prophet was victorious because of fear," the response boasted. "Our religion is a religion of fear and terror to the enemies of Allah: the Jews, Christians, and pagans. With Allah's wiling, we are terrorists to the bone."
It concluded by declaring, "Your end is very near and your fall will be just as the fall of the towers on the blessed 9/11 day."
A country that still had any dignity left would have responded by stringing Mohammed and all the rest of them up. Instead another decade of legal wrangling and lawfare followed as military prosecutors and judges continue to insist that they have no idea how to try and convict him.
Khalid Sheikh Mohammed had confessed his crimes multiple times.
In 1942, with the war underway, Nazi saboteurs brought here by submarine were arrested by the FBI. They were caught in June, tried in July, and sent to the electric chair in August.
And that was for enemy operatives who had not even managed to kill a single American.
Meanwhile after 19 years of having the mastermind of the murder of thousands of Americans in custody, he has yet to be convicted and is unlikely now to pay the price for his crimes.
The military court system, which was meant to expedite the trials and convictions of terrorists as enemy insurgents during wartime, not criminal defendants protected by the Constitution, has been corrupted and broken. It needs to be replaced. But that is not likely to happen until the next phase of the war against Islamic terrorism is underway.
Meanwhile the political and cultural allies of the Islamists are running our government.
Obama sabotaged the process of bringing Khalid Sheikh Mohammed to justice and now, just as with the Taliban and Iran, Biden is finishing the criminal betrayal that his boss began.
Tulsi Gabbard: U.S. Government ‘Is Hiding the Truth’ on 9/11 Terror Attacks
Thursday on Fox News Channel’s “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI), a candidate for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination, reacted to the difficulties Chris Ganci and Brett Eagleson, two relatives of victims of the September 11, 2001 terror attacks were having in their quest to obtain more information about Saudi Arabia’s involvement in 9/11.
Gabbard accused the federal government of undermining efforts of achieving more transparency, which she said was being done at the behest of Saudi Arabia.

CARLSON: This is one of those issues I don’t think is partisan. It doesn’t need to be. It shouldn’t be partisan in any sense.
GABBARD: Absolutely not.
CARLSON: It’s an American issue. Why would the U.S. government ever side with the Saudi Kingdom of all countries against our citizens?
GABBARD: This is the real question that’s at stake. This story that we’re hearing from the families of those who were killed on 9/11 pushes this issue to the forefront where, for so long, leaders in our government have said, well, Saudi Arabia is our great ally. They’re a partner in counterterrorism, turning a blind eye or completely walking away from the reality that Saudi Arabia time and again, has proven to be the opposite.
CARLSON: Yes.
GABBARD: They’re undermining our National Security interests. They are — as you said, they are the number one exporter of this Wahhabi extremist ideology.
CARLSON: Yes.
GABBARD: They’re a fertile recruiting ground for terrorists, like al Qaeda and ISIS around the world. They’re directly providing arms and assistance to al Qaeda, in places like Yemen, and in Syria.
And as we are seeing here, it is our government, our own government that is hiding the truth from Chris and Brett and the many other families of those who were killed on 9/11. For what? Where do the loyalties really lie?
CARLSON: So I was thinking in the commercial break that of the number of people I know personally, not abstractly, but have had lunch with in this city who are taking currently money from the Saudi Kingdom or their allies in the Emirates, the Gulf States, and I wonder if that maybe play some role, like a lot of people on their payroll here.
GABBARD: Yes. We talk about the foreign policy establishment in Washington.
CARLSON: Yes.
GABBARD: We talk about the political elite, the military-industrial complex. We hear things from some of those people, well, you know, hey, we sell a lot of weapons to Saudi Arabia. So you know, if we burn bridges with them, then who are we going to sell our weapons to? Where are we going to get that money from?
All of these excuses that have nothing to do with the interests of the American people, with our national security interests. And that’s — I’m proud and honored to be able to stand shoulder to shoulder with these 9/11 families in demanding this truth because, yes, it is about truth and justice and closure for all of them now as we approach 20 years since that attack on 9/11. It’s also about our National Security.
CARLSON: Yes.
GABBARD: Safety and security of the American people.
CARLSON: I’ll never forget right after 9/11, living here in the City of Washington, our airports were closed. All airports were closed in this country.
GABBARD: Yes.
CARLSON: And learning that chartered flights of Saudi citizens had been allowed with U.S. government approval to take off and run back to Saudi Arabia without being questioned by authorities here and thinking you know, if I tried to do that, I’d be in prison. Why are we giving preference to Saudi citizens over our own citizens?
GABBARD: Exactly. It makes no sense if you think about what would happen if we actually had leaders who were putting the interests of our country above all else. You follow the money trail. It goes back to the military-industrial complex.
You look at how many of the think tanks here in Washington who send so-called experts to go and testify before Congress who are funded by Saudi Arabia to spout their talking points.
You saw how the legislation that we passed in Congress. I was proud to vote for legislation that allowed families like Chris and Brett’s to sue Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia trotted out all of their lobbyists to say why that would be so dangerous, so dangerous for our interests, for them to be allowed to seek justice for their families.
This is about standing up for our country. This is about standing up for our principles and our freedoms and for the truth.

Since his election to the presidency in 2016, the Democrat-Deep State-Media axis has targeted Donald Trump for foreign entanglements they claim should remove him from office. Now comes news of foreign entanglements and foreign cash for the previous president.
“Middleman helped Saudi give to Obama inaugural,” proclaims the headline on the October 29 report by Alan Suderman and Jim Mustian, billed as an Associated Press exclusive. As the authors explain, U.S. election law prohibits foreign nationals from making contributions to the inaugural celebrations of American presidents. As it turns out, the law was violated.
A “Saudi tycoon,” Sheikh Mohammed Al Rahbani, routed hundreds of thousands of dollars for the Obama inaugural through an “intermediary,” Imaad Zuberi. He, in turn, is a “jet-setting fundraiser and venture capitalist,” who has “raised millions of dollars for Democrats and Republicans alike over the years.” Despite the appearance of bipartisanship, Zuberi is more narrowly tailored.
Imaad Zuberi “served as a top fundraiser for both Obama and Hillary Clinton during their presidential runs, including stints on both of their campaign finance committees.” One campaign, not identified, took donations “in the name of one of Zuberi’s dead relatives” and a political committee, also unidentified, “took donations from a person Zuberi invented.” As the DOJ charged, Zuberi pleaded guilty to “falsifying records to conceal his work as a foreign agent while lobbying high-level U.S. government officials,” and it was hardly his first brush with the law.
“Elite Fundraiser for Obama and Clinton Linked to Justice Department Probe,” read the headline on Bill Allison’s August 28, 2015 exclusive in Foreign Policy. The calling card of the elite political fundraiser are photographs, “bumping fists with President Barack Obama in front of a Christmas tree at a White House reception. Sharing a belly laugh with Vice President Joe Biden at a formal luncheon,” and posing “cheek to cheek with Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.”
Not only is Zuberi a major fundraiser for her campaign, notes Allison, “he also donated between $250,000 and $500,000 to the Clinton Foundation, which has already come under fire for accepting money from donors — many of them foreign — with interests before the U.S. government while she was secretary of state.” And as Allison learned, Hillary’s 2008 campaign benefitted from “straw donors” set up by Sant Singh Chatwal and Norman Hsu, both convicted of election law violations.
Zuberi also used straw donors in more recent illegal activity. As to the affiliation of those mysterious campaigns and committees, the AP writers provide a hint.
Sheikh Mohammed Al Rahbani has “talked about his support of Obama. He posted pictures on his website of himself and his wife standing with Obama, former Vice President Joe Biden and their spouses at a 2013 inaugural event.” Alas, “the website was taken down shortly after Zuberi’s plea was made public.”
As Paul Delacourt of the FBI’s Los Angeles office explains, “American influence is not for sale.” Mr. Zuberi “lured individuals who were seeking political influence in violation of U.S. law, and in the process, enriched himself by defrauding those with whom he interacted.” According to the DOJ, that “could send him to prison for a lengthy period of time.”
According to Suderman and Mustian, “Zuberi’s case raises questions about the degree to which political committees vet donors.” And as FEC boss Ellen Weintraub told the writers, “I’m deeply concerned about foreigners trying to intervene in our elections, and I don’t think we’re doing enough to try to stop it.” They might start by looking in the right place.
Unconventional candidate Donald Trump, a man of considerable means, financed his own campaign. Trump had no need to consort with the likes of Zuberi or his dead relatives and those he invents. And because Trump financed his own campaign, he owes nothing to anybody, foreign or domestic.
Adam “sack of” Schiff, as Judge Jeanine Pirro respectfully calls him, claimed he had evidence in plain sight that Trump colluded with Russia to steal the election from Hillary Clinton. Two years and a Mueller investigation later, such evidence is nowhere in sight. Schiff’s current inquisition, perhaps more bogus than the Mueller probe, is best seen a diversion from John Durham’s criminal investigation of those who launched the Russia hoax. That is where DOJ and election officials should be looking.
Did Clinton Foundation donor Imaad Zerubi turn up on any of those 30,000 subpoenaed emails Hillary Clinton deleted? Did Zerubi see any classified material? Were there any texts from Zerubi and his foreign clients on the cell phones Hillary’s squad smashed up with hammers? Was Clinton grossly negligent, or just extremely careless? And so on. Meanwhile, Hillary Clinton also enjoyed other foreign intervention, right out in the open.
Mexican foreign minister Marcelo Ebrard, a former mayor of Mexico City, had worked with voter-registration and participation groups in California, Arizona, Florida, Chicago, and elsewhere. As Ebrard told Francisco Goldman of the New Yorker, in 2016 he “decided to get more involved” by working on get-out-the-vote campaigns on behalf of Hillary Clinton.
A powerful foreign national openly interferes in an American election, and nobody calls him on it. Now that Clinton Foundation lackey Imaad Zuberi has copped a plea, the FEC and DOJ should look into it.
Congress overrides Obama veto of bill allowing 9/11 lawsuits

On Wednesday, the US Congress overturned President Obama’s veto of legislation that would permit victims of the September 11, 2001 attacks and their families to sue Saudi Arabia. Declassified documents released this year confirm the involvement of Saudi intelligence agents in the funding, organization, and planning of the attacks—facts which were covered up for years by the Bush and Obama administrations.
The vote, 97-1 in the Senate and 348-77 in the House of Representatives, represents the first and only congressional override of Obama’s presidency. Under the US Constitution, the president’s veto can be overturned only by a two-thirds majority vote in both houses of Congress.
The Obama administration and the military and intelligence agencies, backed by sections of the media, including the New York Times, have vigorously denounced the legislation. Obama personally, together with Central Intelligence Agency director John Brennan, Defense Secretary Ashton Carter, and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Joseph Dunford among others, have all publicly opposed the bill.
In a letter to Congress opposing the legislation, Obama warned that the bill would “threaten to erode sovereign principles that protect the United States, including our U.S. Armed Forces and other officials, overseas.”
In a lead editorial on Wednesday, the New York Times similarly warned that “if the bill becomes law, other countries could adopt similar legislation defining their own exemptions to sovereign immunity. Because no country is more engaged in the world than the United States—with military bases, drone operations, intelligence missions and training programs—the Obama administration fears that Americans could be subject to legal actions abroad.”
In other words, the bill would set a precedent for families of victims of American aggression abroad—such as the tens of thousands of victims of “targeted killings” ordered by Obama personally—to file lawsuits against US war criminal in their own countries’ courts.
Obama denounced the vote with unusual warmth on Wednesday. “It's an example of why sometimes you have to do what's hard. And, frankly, I wish Congress here had done what's hard,” Obama declared. “If you’re perceived as voting against 9/11 families right before an election, not surprisingly, that's a hard vote for people to take. But it would have been the right thing to do ... And it was, you know, basically a political vote.”
“Oh, what a tangled web we weave,” Sir Walter Scott famously wrote, “When first we practice to deceive!” As the tangled web of lies surrounding the September 11 attacks continue to unravel, one senses that the American ruling class and its representatives do not see a clear way out of the dilemma.
Openly torpedoing the legislation is tantamount to an admission of guilt. Indeed, the Obama administration, the military and intelligence agencies, and theNew York Times are publicly working to cover up a crime perpetrated by Al Qaeda and its backers in Saudi Arabia, which in turn is an ally of the United States. The mere fact that Obama vetoed this bill constitutes an admission that the US government is hiding something with respect to the September 11 attacks.
The alternative, from the standpoint of the American ruling class, is also fraught with risks. Court proceedings initiated by the families of September 11 victims will inevitably expose the role played by the Saudi monarchy, an ally of both Al Qaeda and the United States, in the September 11 attacks. This, in turn, will highlight long and sordid history of American support for Islamic fundamentalism in the
Middle East, which continues to the present day in Syria and Libya.
Perhaps most dangerously of all, a full public accounting of the roles of Saudi intelligence agents in the September 11 attacks will once again raise questions about the role of the American state in the attacks. Why did US intelligence
agencies ignore the activities of Saudi agents before the attacks, based on Saudi Arabia’s supposed status as a US ally?
Why did the US government deliberately cover up the Saudi connection after the fact, instead claiming that Afghanistan was a “state sponsor of terrorism” and that Iraq was developing “weapons of mass destruction?” Why was nobody
prosecuted?
The New York Times, for its part, simply lied about the evidence of Saudi complicity. “The legislation is motivated by a belief among the 9/11 families that Saudi Arabia played a role in the attacks, because 15 of the 19 hijackers, who were members of Al Qaeda, were Saudis,” the editors wrote. “But the independent American commission that investigated the attacks found no evidence that the Saudi government or senior Saudi officials financed the terrorists.”
In fact, at least two of the hijackers received aid from Omar al-Bayoumi, who was identified by the Federal Bureau of Investigation as a Saudi intelligence agent with “ties to terrorist elements.” Some of the hijackers were paid for work in fictitious jobs from companies affiliated with the Saudi Defense Ministry, with which Al-Bayoumi was in close contact. The night before the attacks, three of the hijackers stayed at the same hotel as Saleh al-Hussayen, a prominent Saudi government official.
These and other facts were confirmed by the infamous 28-page suppressed chapter of the 2002 report issued by the Joint Inquiry into Intelligence Community Activities Before and After the Terrorist Attacks of September 11, 2001. After 14 years of stalling, the document was finally released to the public this summer.
Yet the New York Times continues to describe the Saudi monarchy, the principal financier and sponsor of Islamic fundamentalist groups throughout the world, as “a partner in combating terrorism.”
The Justice Against Sponsors of Terrorism Act, passed Wednesday, is a direct reaction to these revelations of Saudi complicity in the September 11 attacks, under pressure from organizations of survivors and families of victims. The law amends the federal judicial code to allow US courts “to hear cases involving claims against a foreign state for injuries, death, or damages that occur inside the United States as a result of. .. an act of terrorism, committed anywhere by a foreign state or official.”
Although the bill nowhere names Saudi Arabia, the Saudi government has threatened massive retaliation, including by moving $750 billion in assets out of the country before they can be seized in American legal proceedings. This reaction alone confirms the monarchy’s guilt.
During Wednesday’s session, many of the statements on the floor of the Senate were nervous and apprehensive. Casting his vote in favor of the bill, Republican Senator Bob Corker declared, “I have tremendous concerns about the sovereign immunity procedures that would be set in place by the countries as a result of this vote.” More than one legislator noted that if the bill had unintended consequences, it would be modified or repealed.
The anxious comments of legislators and the crisscrossing denunciations within the ruling elite reflect the significance of this controversy for the entire American political establishment. For 15 years, the American population has been relentlessly told that the events of September 11, 2001 “changed everything,” warranting the elimination of democratic rights, the militarization of the police, renditions, torture, assassinations, totalitarian levels of spying, death and destruction across the Middle East, and trillions of dollars of expenditures.
The collapse of the official version of that day’s events shows that American politics for 15 years has been based on a lie.
Pollak: Everything Joe Biden Said About Donald Trump’s Foreign Policy Actually Describes Barack Obama’s
Everything former vice president Joe Biden said about President Donald Trump’s foreign policy speech on Thursday actually applies to the policy that Biden carried out together with former President Barack Obama — and not Trump.
In his speech, at City University of New York, Biden called Trump an “extreme” threat to the country’s national security. No one has yet taken Biden to task for describing the sitting commander-in-chief in such alarmist terms.
But that wasn’t even the most bizarre aspect of Biden’s speech. He said the main problem in Trump’s foreign policy was … Charlottesville, Virginia. Biden went on to recite a version of the debunked “very fine people” hoax, claiming that Trump had drawn a “moral equivalence between those who promoted hate and those who opposed it.” That, he said, was a threat to America’s mission of standing for democratic values in the world.
But in fact, Trump specifically condemned the neo-Nazis in Charlottesville on multiple occasions. The entire premise of Biden’s speech was a lie.
Biden went on to claim that Trump’s foreign policy rejects democratic values and favors the rise of authoritarianism worldwide. He cited Trump’s warmth to Russian president Vladimir Putin and North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un. And he claimed that Trump has undermined America’s alliances with democracies in favor of flattery from dictators.
Apparently Biden forgot that Obama literally bowed to the Saudi king; that he abandoned the pro-democracy protests during the Green Revolution in Iran; that he pushed for a “reset” with Russia and abandoned our Czech and Polish allies on missile defense; that he promised Putin he would be even more “flexible” after he won re-election; that he tried to normalize relations with the Cuban dictatorship without securing any democratic reforms there; that he gave the store away to the communist dictatorship in China; and that he abandoned Israel, a betrayal in which Biden himself played a direct and shameful role, condemning Israel for building apartments in a Jewish neighborhood of Jerusalem.
Trump praises dictators as a negotiating tactic; Obama praised them because he, too, thought America was a problem.
One of the few times the Obama administration embraced democratic change was during the Arab Spring, when “democracy” meant the rise of the Muslim Brotherhood — which had no interest in freedom, only in power.
In 2008, the Obama campaign cast Biden as a foreign policy guru, though he had been wrong on almost every foreign policy issue in his career. On Thursday, he mostly ignored his own record.
Astonishingly, Biden claimed credit for Trump’s success in crushing the so-called “Islamic State,” saying he worked with Obama “to craft the military and diplomatic campaign that ultimately defeated ISIS.” In fact, Biden was complicit in the rise of ISIS. He was Obama’s point man on Iraq when the U.S. suddenly pulled out of the country, leaving a vacuum that ISIS filled. He did not object when Obama called the terror group “junior varsity.”
Biden offered nothing new in terms of solutions to current foreign policy challenges. He claimed that the Iran nuclear deal had been a success — on the very day Iran was reportedto have been cheating all along. He said the U.S. should re-enter the deal once Iran did, offering no idea how to ensure that it did so. On North Korea, Biden promised he would “empower our negotiators,” whatever that means.
He said that he would get “tough” with China, which Trump is already doing (and which Biden previously suggested he would not do). And on immigration, he ridiculed the very idea of borders — literally: “I respect no borders.”
And this is the best Democrats have on foreign policy.
