Four hundred years ago, William Shakespeare, in his play Richard II, alluded to the importance of borders. He wrote of England. I’ll just read an excerpt from it. “This fortress built by Nature for herself against infection and the hand of war, this happy breed of men, this little world, this precious stone set in a silver sea which serves it in the office of a wall or as a moat defensive to a house against the envy of less happier lands.” This was about England, but some of this applies to us as well. We have a silver seas to our east and west that protect us. We have a neighbor to the north which is not among these less happier lands, and the border there is not a serious issue. That is our border with Canada in northern Vermont, and even the flowerpots weren’t there before 9/11. But south of us, it’s different. Mexico, obviously, has sent lots of immigrants, legal and illegal, over the years. There’s fewer people coming from Mexico; by world standards, it’s not — it does pretty well. But Mexico serves as a kind of drawbridge across the moat, if you will, for the billions from less happier lands who do want to come here, as well as contraband of all sorts, whether it’s suitcase nukes or opioid poisons. We’ve struggled for years to make the southern border effective as a moat, defensive, as Shakespeare said, and the long-lasting failure to do that is one of the things that drove Donald Trump to victory. Unfortunately, what we have today is the first administration, and I’m including all prior Democratic administrations as well — the first administration ever that isn’t even trying to enforce the border. And I’ve been traveling the border this whole past week. That’s why I’m in hiking boots, because I’ve been going from one crappy Indian-run motel to another over the past week looking at parts of the border, and I have literally just a few pictures. I don’t want to give Michael a heart attack. I just have half a dozen pictures of — either from this week or from other places, because we do a border tour every year in the spring, usually, and actually, if people are interested, come up to me afterward. We do a tour. We have about a dozen people and we go intensively in a part of a border and see a lot of what’s going on. So just a couple pictures to show you what’s going on, and then I want to talk a little bit about it. This is Yuma, Arizona. I don’t know how many of you followed this, but there was a gap. You see where those shipping containers are? None of that was there until a few weeks ago. The gap in the fence is there because on January 20 of 2021, the new president told the guys building the wall, put down your tools and step away, because he wasn’t going to have one more inch of wall built because the evil bad orange man liked the wall. So that was — that’s the Yuma gap, they called it, and there’s actually a couple places right near it where there’s also gaps. And finally, Governor Ducey in Arizona, after having been promised by the administration, okay, well, maybe we’ll fill some of the gaps — they just never did, so he just had state authorities schlep some shipping containers and stack them on top of each other and plug up the hole. It’s kind of a half-assed measure, but I mean, what can the state do? In fact, the administration has threatened to sue Arizona for trespassing on federal land. It’s like, how dare you stop illegal immigrants from coming through our gap? Unfortunately, a few miles south of here — these are all pictures I took this week — is this. The fence ends. The reason it ends is because there’s an Indian reservation there, the Cocopah Indian Reservation, and they don’t want a fence. So what you see there that looks kind of like a split-rail fence, that’s called a vehicle barrier. They’re like I-beams that are stuck together, and it will, in fact, stop a car from driving over, but your grandma can get around it. And in fact, where they meet — I’ll get to the opioids too in a minute — where they meet, it doesn’t even really connect, so this is where the illegal border-crossers just walk through there and turn themselves in to the border patrol. Here is a group of them from earlier this week: 500 people that night had turned themselves in literally at the place that previous picture was. That — what you saw in the picture was sort of behind this. They’re being bussed by the border patrol — they took their pictures, they may be detained for a day or so, and then, under Biden’s policies, they’re going to be let go. And here they are loading their luggage onto the bus, which you’ve all — we’ve all paid for. This is another part of the fence. This is on the Mexican side in Tijuana, right near where it reaches the ocean. It’s sort of the end of the fence, the far western end. As you can see, they decorate the fence. There’s an upside down American flag you can see. And it was there — a few hours before this I was on the U.S. side, a group of Vietnamese and Jamaicans got a ladder, climbed over the fence, took the ladder and put it on the other side and climbed down, but they had nowhere to go because there’s two layers of fence there. The smugglers knew that. They went over so that now they were on U.S. soil, and the border patrol came and gathered them up, took their pictures, what have you, delivered their luggage, and they’re going to be let go. This is — where is this? New Mexico. See, that looks like a really impressive fence. And it is. That’s a serious barrier. Again, people can get over it, but it takes work. But then if you drive a little further down toward your right, you see the end of the fence. It’s the same thing. This is not an Indian reservation issue; this is they were building the fence from two sides to meet on a hill and guess where — how far along it was on January 20 of 2021? And then if you go down a little more to your right, another maybe half a mile, you have this. This is a gate. There’s supposed to be gate in the fence. It’s required by treaty that everywhere where there’s one of these markers that delineates the border, that you be able to get to it from both sides. It’s a long story, but there’s a lot of these gates. So they were building the doorway, and then guess what happened on January 20 of 2021 — they had to stop work. So there’s literally a hole in the fence. This is kind of like the opposite of that — how many of you remember Blazing Saddles, where they go to the toll booth and, well, we need a whole lot of dimes to get through this tollbooth. Well, this is sort of the opposite thing. This is a fence everywhere, and there’s a hole in the middle of it. This — you see those things? Those are wall units stacked up but not used because President Biden said no more construction. We’ve paid — you have paid for all of those, and that’s a tiny portion of them in one place west of El Paso. Thousands of them. And they’re the same thing you see in Arizona, in New Mexico. Thousands of these, piled up, just sitting out there, because the president won’t finish it. Here’s another sort of arty version of the same picture. And that was it. So let me just leave it at that. So what’s going on at the border? Last year, last fiscal year, which ended September 30, so it’s this year, was the record for illegal immigrant encounters. That’s what they’re called now. Not arrests, not apprehensions. Under this administration, they changed it and they call them encounters, as though you’re running into somebody in the street; 2.2 million. It was a record in American history. It broke the previous record, which was the previous year, again under Biden. Not all of these people are released. Some people sort of — you often hear numbers that are bigger than they really are because some of these people are bounced back under a public health measure called Title 42. I’m not going to go into it, but it’s the only thing that Trump had at the border that the Biden people didn’t rescind. And it’s not because they have any change of heart. It’s because there are some people in the administration — there are sort of two factions. Both of them want — both of them oppose borders. One of them, though, wants to boil the frog slower than the other faction, and so the boil-the-frog-slower faction has said, let’s keep this thing in place, Title 42, that allows the border patrol to just bounce some people back across the border. But they’re using it for fewer and fewer people. The administration’s trying to end it, in which case everybody who comes across the border would just be let go. Even with that, since this administration has taken over, they have let go close to 1.5 million illegal border crossers that were taken into custody and then let go. Supposedly they have hearings someday. They might show up. They might not. Some of them do. But if, in the end, they lose, say, their asylum claim, they just stay anyway. Nobody’s looking for them. So the whole thing is a charade. Back in the Soviet Union — I was a student there for a couple of years in the ’80s, and there was a joke that people said, we pretend to work and they pretend to pay us. Well, we pretend to have an immigration law and this administration kind of pretends to enforce it. And that’s not counting what are called got-aways, which is sort of self-explanatory, but got-aways is not just some guess about how many other people came over. These are people they have pictures of, or they have footprint evidence, or whatever. In other words, people they know got across but they didn’t grab them. At this point, there’s probably another million of those who have come across under Biden’s administration. And then, those are the, what you might call — Rumsfeld would have called the known unknowns, and then there’s the unknown unknowns, or the illegals who got across that they didn’t get a picture of or they didn’t see their footprints or what have you. So what a lot of people ask is, why is this happening? Tucker and other people say, well, they’re importing voters. Or this is part of a plan to transform America. I think there’s something to that, but that’s not — those are ancillary things. Those are secondary, kind of long-term concerns. The reason this administration, unlike any administration in history, doesn’t want to enforce borders is because they believe that controlling borders is immoral in itself, that immigration enforcement is morally wrong. The American people have no right to keep anyone out. It’s Jim Crow — although I guess in Spanish, you’d be Jaimito Cuervo, but it’s the same idea, just to help the president along, so he doesn’t call it something stupid like Jim Eagle or whatever, but that’s what they believe. And in fact, they do — the people running immigration in this administration do subscribe to a kind of American exceptionalism. It’s just the — not the American exceptionalism we think of. They see America as exceptionally bad, and therefore, we are exceptionally not allowed to say no to anyone trying to come across the border. And they do take steps here and there to make it seem like they’re enforcing the border. For instance, Venezuelans, once they announced that Venezuelans, most of whom aren’t really coming from Venezuela, but they’re coming from Colombia or Peru, that they were just being let go. So they changed policy and said, no, no, we’re going to subject them to these Title 42 expulsions where they just bounced right back, no hearings, no nothing. The reason they did is not because Venezuelans are voting Republican. None of these people are going to be voting for 10, 15 years, if ever. They’re doing it because once they made the — once the word got out that Venezuelans would just be let go, like wildfire, the numbers exploded from a few hundred a month to thousands a month, instantly, like this, because people respond to what cues they get about who’s going to be let go and who isn’t. But the administration is still trying to end this Title 42 thing that I had mentioned. It’s tied up in court. They’re going to win eventually, and at that point, who knows what they’re going to do, but they’re not willing to control this border. They don’t believe it. Now, even mass legal immigration in our conditions today, modern conditions, are a problem with regard to assimilation in schools, welfare, jobs, et cetera, but that’s a whole extra talk, and I won’t filibuster on that one. That’s kind of the subject of the book I wrote a while back. Mass illegal immigration has all those same problems, and then you add on top of that the sovereignty rule of law issues. But what I wanted to talk about before finishing is that — something that people talk about a lot with regard to what’s going on at the border: the issues of trafficking and of drugs. Let’s start on trafficking. There’s — trafficking and smuggling are two different things. Smuggling is where you’re voluntarily paying somebody for a service and they’re delivering you. You’re part of the crime. Trafficking, human trafficking, is different; that’s where, essentially, it’s coercion or trickery or lies. You’re being kidnapped or in some other way coerced and being used for forced labor, prostitution, forced farm labor, what have you. With mass illegal immigration like we’re seeing today, you have both of those phenomena and you have them kind of bleeding into each other, because if you’re somebody in Honduras or Haiti, not to mention Tajikistan or Mauritania, and believe me, we’re getting people from there, too — say you want to come to America and you heard through the grapevine that the gringos are letting anybody in. Well, how the heck are you going to get to the Rio Grande? You don’t have that much money for it. So what you do is, you put yourself — you go and hawk to these smuggling groups, and it’s a voluntary thing. You’re doing it knowingly. But they own you. And in fact, they may decide, okay, well, you’re going to pay the other half when you get here, work it off by washing dishes for three years without pay, but you know, we just raised the price and we’re holding you in this stash house, and there’s a lot of them in Arizona and elsewhere, and we’re going to call your family and they’re going to wire the extra money tomorrow or we’re going to cut your other ear off. So smuggling and trafficking end up sort of bleeding into each other, and they are inevitably part of this administration’s policy or a result of the policy of mass admissions, because even if the border were totally open and the administration got what it wanted and there was nobody patrolling anything, it was just like the county line, you would still have this phenomenon. Because like I said, if you’re a farmer in Honduras, how the heck do you get to the Rio Grande? You are going to end up sort of becoming a kind of indentured servant, which is inevitably exploitative. And the other thing I want to talk about is drugs. There’s always going to be some drugs coming over the border. I mean, even with better border enforcement, it’s still going to happen to some degree, and some of it comes between the legal crossing points — they’re called ports of entry. That’s where the border patrol is, in between. And some of it’s going to come through the legal ports of entry where they’ll hollow out a dashboard and stick dope in there or any number of things, as the drug traffickers are really imaginative. It’s a cat and mouse thing. But this administration’s policies are making the smuggling dramatically worse. Fentanyl is an easy thing to move because it’s so small. Marijuana, you’ve got to have guys packing, humping these big backpacks over, and why bother, just open a farm in California and grow it yourself. But the reason this administration’s policies are facilitating the mass importation of fentanyl and other drugs is that the border patrol is overwhelmed and incapable of doing patrolling the border. The cartels don’t do the alien smuggling themselves, generally speaking. There are separate criminal groups that do alien smuggling, but they have to pay the drug cartels a kind of tax because the cartels — different cartels control the entire 2,000 miles of the border on the Mexican side, and if you’re going through their turf, you need to pay them. But what the cartels also do, the drug cartels, is they’ll tell the smuggling group, okay, you take your 100, 200, 300 people at a time and you’re going to do it at this point on the river at this time of day. And we’ll give you 10% off. And don’t ask what’s happening five miles up the river. They use these alien, these mass alien crossings as an intentional diversionary tactic so that they can get their drugs or people that don’t want to turn themselves in — criminals, terrorists, even just people who have been deported before, because if you come back after you’re formally deported, that’s a felony — and use that as a way to get across, because once 300 people show up, guess what? You pretty much have to strip the border of all of the agents that are doing border patrol to process these people, and if there’s a lot of kids among them — and if you bring a kid, that’s a guarantee of being let go — they end up having to go to Walmart and buy diapers and formula. They take the pregnant women, who basically wait until they go into labor, drive them to the hospital and they have to wait there the whole time, so that it is — it’s an intentional diversionary tactic, and once there’s nobody patrolling the border, then they can move whatever the heck — I mean, I’m surprised they’re not moving artillery pieces across — well, actually, maybe. I don’t know, probably not. But fentanyl is easy. You can just carry it in your pockets and it’s hundreds of thousands or millions of dollars. Until that stops, you’re going to have this continue. And I just want to end by saying, don’t have too much — don’t place too much hope on a Republican Congress trying to stop this, and I don’t say this just because we’re the stupid party, which we are. My point here, though, is that there’s a limit to what Congress can do. Congress can stop the administration, any administration, from doing specific things that it wants to do. It’s much more difficult to make them actually do something that they don’t want to do. You’re going to see Congress do three things. Republican House — assuming that happens — one, there’s going to be hearings and investigations. This administration is the least transparent administration in history, especially when it comes to immigration. All kinds of stuff that the Trump Administration just threw up onto the web and just go and look at it. They just won’t tell you. We file FOIAs like there’s no tomorrow, we’re trying to keep up with judicial watch and filing FOIAs, but they do a lot more of it. But we’re doing a lot of it. We’re suing them. And we’re getting some information out of them, but they do not want to release it. So you’re going to see investigations and hearings. Second thing you’re going to see is — I hope they’re going to do this — Secretory Mayorkas needs to be impeached. This is Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. Now, look; even if he’s removed — or he won’t be removed because you need two thirds of the senate to do it. But just impeaching him, and the hearings that will take place, and then the trial in the senate, even if it doesn’t result in removal from office, is essential. And it’s essential, I think, for two reasons. One is, it’s going to force the administration to reveal information it doesn’t want to. And second, I think — and this is just me, but impeaching the president is not a political winner. It’s not going to work. We did it with Clinton; it didn’t work. The Democrats did it with Trump; it didn’t really do all that much good. Impeachment is a political act, and I think this is a way to focus Republican lawmakers’ and public voters’ interest in impeaching somebody on somebody that we can, in fact, successfully impeach, and it isn’t going to hurt us politically. Because Mayorkas is an extraordinarily unappealing figure. Nobody really likes him. He’s not a likeable guy. He does terrible on TV. I mean, he’s there saying the border is secure. They’re asking him, is the border secure? He says, yes. Well, what kind of ridiculous thing is that? I mean, they’re going to make a fool of him, and that’s good. So — and then the third thing, the purse strings. Republican House is going to try to use funding bills to get some stuff done. We’ll see how well that works out. We always lose government shutdown fights. So they’re going to do something like that; whether they do it in a smart way and sort of pick particular things where they can win on, or whether they just try to sort of overreach and end up — the president vetoes it and then we have a whole fiasco of a government shutdown, that remains to be seen. But until we get a new administration, this is going to continue. We’ve got two more years of this absurdity at the border, and we’re going to end up — in 2025, there’s going to be — there could be four, five, even six million extra illegal aliens that this administration let in, and I guarantee you, the Democrats are in the minority — even if they’re in the minority, they’re going to say, we need to give these people legal status because they’ve been here so long. You’re going to — you heard it here first, it’s going to happen. We’ve got to — the Republicans in the Congress have to do what — anything they can to slow it down, but ultimately, until we get a new president, whether that’s Trump or DeSantis, this is going to continue. That’s all I’ve got for you. Thank you.

China’s Migrants Join Global Rush to Biden’s Open Borders

China’s economic migrants are joining the global rush into America as President Joe Biden’s deputies widen legal loopholes in the southern border, according to a U.S.-funded news agency.

The route for China’s migrants goes through Ecuador in South America. Then the migrants take buses, taxis, and boats to reach the deadly Darien Gap jungle trail in Panama, where the United Nations helps them travel further north towards Costa Rica, Mexico, and the United States, according to a December 26 article by Radio Free Asia.

The article said:

1,028 Chinese citizens entered Colombia from Ecuador through unofficial channels between January and November 2022, 458 of whom did so in November alone.

Nearly all of them pass through Necoclí, the jumping-off point for the notorious Darién Gap people-smuggling route through the jungle from Panama to Colombia, in a bid to cross eventually into the United States.

According to two shipping companies that ship travelers to the trailhead in Panama, 122 Chinese people have bought tickets during the past week.

A pipeline of 122 people per week adds up to 6,300 a year — if the flow somehow stops growing.

The arrival of more Chinese reflects the growing global awareness that Biden is dangling the hope of U.S. jobs, homes, and lives to ambitious young people everywhere — whatever the huge economic and civic damage to ordinary Americans.

For example, the number of Indian migrants detained at the border rose from 20,000 in 2020 up to 64,000 in 2022.  The Filipino inflow rose from 46,000 in 2019 up to 55,000 in 2022. In 2022, Biden’s border officials admitted 114,000 people from those two countries, regardless of the Title 42 barrier or section 212(f) in federal laws that allow the president to exclude any alien.'

But Biden’s invite is also drawing more migrants from every corner of the world as poor people scramble to grab their slice of America before U.S. citizens can restore their borders with a new President. “The 2.4 million Border Patrol encounters with migrants in the 2022 fiscal year that ended on Sept. 30 represented a record high,” the New York Times reported on December 29:

There was a nearly 2000 percent increase in the number of Colombians encountered during that period compared with the previous fiscal year; Indians increased by 607 percent; Cubans by 471 percent; Russians by 430 percent and Nicaraguans by 227 percent.

Overall, Biden accepted almost as many illegal, legal, and temporary migrants as there were U.S. births in 2022 — and he has deported fewer than 100,000 migrants.

The growing U.S. populations of legal migrants and of temporary visa workers — such as Indian H-1B visa workers — are also pulling in more illegal migrants for lower-skill jobs in ethnic districts.

The Chinese migrants are guided along their routes, and around legal obstacles, by maps posted online by prior migrants and American pro-migration groups.

There is no road between South America and Central America, so the global migrants must take a boat from Columbia, and then use boats and jungle trails to reach buses in rural Panama. The route is a shorter and safer version of the earlier Darien Gap trail — where thousands of migrants likely died in 2021 and 2022. The shorter trail was created by Biden’s zealously pro-migration border chief, Alejandro Mayorkas.

The myriad migrants from all over the world are aided by rest stations that are funded by industry by U.S. taxpayers. For example, migrants are helped by a United Nations aid station  in the Columbian port of Necoclí:

Near the jetty where the travelers will embark, the United Nations’ International Organization for Migration has set up a tent, while the local government has its own tent facing it. A third canopy provides shade to people waiting to board the next vessel to Panama, who hail from Afghanistan, India, Latin America, the Caribbean, and, more recently, from China.

U.S. officials are trying to gain control of the travel routes.

Mayorkas’ goal is not to stop migration, but to sideline the cartels so international progressive groups can take over the lucrative business of recruiting and moving migrants into Americans’ jobs and housing.

The progressive-run network is helping the alliance of businesses and progressives because it reduces the risk of political embarrassments which might cause a public backlash against the migration policies that transfer wealth and power from ordinary Americans to the coastal investor class. Those embarrassments would include unwanted media descriptions of migrant deaths, or the televised arrival of too many migrants at the U.S. border.

For example, Mayorkas visited Ecuador in December, likely to demand more control of the country’s easy visa rules.

Mayorkas also visited Colombia to talk about migration with the country’s new left-wing president. Mayorkas tweeted:

I appreciated meeting with President @petrogustavo this morning at his invitation to build on the momentum created at the Summit of the Americas. Transnational crime and irregular migration are challenges not exclusive to the U.S. or Colombia. They demand a hemispheric solution.

“There’s a policy called ‘Controlled Flow‘ and it’s been in place for years,” said Todd Bensman, a security and migration expert at the Center for Immigration Studies. “The Panamanians, the Colombians, Costa Ricans, have all abided by this thing for years … They just altered it a little bit [in early 2022] so that the flow goes around the Darien Gap and not through it anymore,” he told Breitbart News in November.

Mayorkas has met with many foreign governments to smooth the migration process into Americans’ jobs and homes. For example, in Colombia, Mayorkas tweeted his support for migration and easy asylum rules:

In bilateral meetings alongside Chargé Palmieri @USEmbassyBogota, we expressed to the Gov of Colombia our commitment to continuing to respect the dignity of migrants, while reiterating the importance that the laws of our respective countries are followed.

Colombian officials turn a blind eye to the Chinese illegal migrants, the RFA.org article reported:

“The current attitude of the Colombian government is to respect the freedom of movement of immigrants,” the official says on condition of anonymity. “From a practical point of view, it is really too expensive to send them back.”

Similarly, Mayorkas worked with Panama to help economic migrants get through the deadly Darien Gap.

Breitbart News reported in August 2021, “‘By consensus, the humanitarian approach will guide the actions that we agree on for the orderly and controlled passage of migrants on their way north,’ Panama’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Erika Moynes, declared during the teleconference.”

Many migrants die — especially in the Darien Gap trail — because of the U.S. policy of extracting young people from poor countries for use in the U.S. service economy.

The huge scale of the migration, and the many deaths, get minimal publicity from American media outlets, which portrays migration as an international civil rights issue, not as a U.S. economic policy.

Economic migrants recognize this progressive perspective and mix in claims of persecution with their demands to be allowed to get U.S. jobs. For example, some of the migrants bring young children to get through the Flores loophole.

RFA.org interviewed a Chinese migrant who was released into the United States with his wife and family — and who is now unlikely to be sent home:

Few Chinese migrants are sent home, partly because China’s government refuses to accept even their own migrants who have committed crimes against Americans. In response, U.S. officials do nothing for fear of disrupting U.S. business deals in China.

Since 1980, China has grown its economy by investing in Chinese manufacturing and workers.

In contrast, since 1990, the U.S. government has operated an economic policy of “Extraction Migration” which pulls human resources from poor countries and uses the imported consumers, renters, and workers to grow the service economy and investors‘ stock values.

The migrant inflow has successfully forced down Americans’ wages, boosted rents and housing prices, and shriveled coastal investors’ interest in heartland towns.  The inflow has also pushed many native-born Americans out of careers in a wide variety of business sectors.

It has also reduced native-born Americans’ clout in local and national elections, so helping the coastal elites to regain power after the shocking electoral success of Donald Trump’s 2016 lower-migration, higher-wage promises.

A Texas Department of Public Safety trooper arrested an alleged human smuggler after finding 18 migrants locked inside a dump trailer in Kenedy County. The migrants in the tarp-covered trailer included a young child. Temperatures fell that morning to the low 20s.

A Texas DPS trooper assigned to Governor Greg Abbott’s Operation Lone Star and patrolling on U.S. Highway 77 in Kenedy County observed a tractor-trailer with an expired trailer tag. The trooper made a traffic stop and interviewed the driver who said he was traveling empty to pick up a load.

The video, provided exclusively to Breitbart Texas, shows the trooper getting permission to search the trailer. During the search, the trooper found the dump trailer to be loaded with migrants. He called for assistance from Rio Grande Valley Sector Border Patrol agents.

The video shows the migrants crawling out of the belly of the dump trailer. By the time the trooper unloaded the trailer, he recovered 18 migrants who appeared to be in the United States illegally. The migrants included one small child.

The trooper arrested the driver on human smuggling charges. Border Patrol agents took custody of the 18 migrants, including the endangered minor.

Three illegal aliens, all with prior criminal arrests in the sanctuary state of Colorado, are accused of murdering a 30-year-old man in El Paso, Texas.

Last month, illegal aliens Ector Sarabia-Cabrera, Isidrio Sarabia-Gonzalez, and Braulio Barron-Rubio — along with a fourth suspect, Yessica Cortes-Barcenas — were arrested and charged with murdering 30-year-old Manuel Hernandez-Uribe, a fugitive wanted for kidnapping, second-degree strangulation, nonconsensual sexual contact, child abuse, third-degree assault, and harassment.

Police allege that Sarabia-Cabrera, Sarabia-Gonzalez, and Barron-Rubio kidnapped Hernandez-Uribe before taking him to Cheyenne Mountain and shooting him. The three illegal aliens are accused of then dumping his body along the side of a road.

KRDO 13 Investigates reveals in an exclusive report that the illegal aliens each had their own criminal histories in the sanctuary state of Colorado before allegedly murdering Hernandez-Uribe in El Paso.

Sarabia-Cabrera, for instance, was previously convicted in Arapahoe County in March 2022 for marijuana cultivation after being convicted in Denver County in January 2022 for possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute and grand theft auto.

At the time of Hernandez-Uribe’s murder, Sarabia-Cabrera had a warrant out for his arrest in Denver County for violating probation that he was serving for a prior drug conviction.

Meanwhile, Sarabia-Gonzalez, who was previously deported from the United States in January 2016, was arrested in January 2020 in Arapahoe County on misdemeanor charges.

Barron-Rubio, who was repeatedly deported from the U.S. more than 15 years ago, had prior arrests in Jefferson County and Denver County.

“Despite having prior criminal charges and convictions in Colorado, none have been deported,” KRDO 13 Investigates reports, suggesting that Colorado officials adhered to the state’s sanctuary policy and did not cooperate with the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency to have the three illegal aliens detained, arrested, and deported.

2022 Man of the Year: Illegal Immigrant Alfonzo

It takes a lot to be a real American.

You can look the part, like Hulk Hogan, Kevin Costner in Yellowstone, or anyone who owns a Ford F-150. You can talk the talk, like Kid Rock, George W. Bush, or Larry the Cable Guy. But only real, true, honest-to-God Americans can walk the walk. Most men can’t walk the walk, even after a lifetime of breathing in that sweet, precious, musty American air. But for the rare few, the walk comes naturally.

Enter Alfonzo.

Alfonzo worked his tail off to get to the United States. He left his native Venezuela in the heat of summer, and through a series of long bus rides and onerous walks, he made it to Texas. And, with President Joe Biden’s open border, who can blame Alfonzo for deserting his communist hellhole of a home in favor of the Lone Star State? We certainly can’t.

But Alfonzo never really set foot in Texas. The second he arrived, the Texans threw him on a bus, and three days later he was in New York City’s Port Authority. The liberals may call it a "sanctuary city" for illegal immigrants, but it didn’t feel like a sanctuary for Alfonzo. He had just $130 in his pocket, nowhere to go, and nothing to do. Surrounded by filth and homelessness, you have to imagine he was wondering whether it was all worth it.

But he was in the land of opportunity now, and opportunity immediately presented itself. Alfonzo was approached by a woman who wanted to spend the day with him.

That’s right. Merely five minutes after Alfonzo touched ground, a woman was asking him out on a date—and better yet, she was paying! Now sure, she was a reporter and was only taking Alfonzo out to interview him. And yes, through a translation app Alfonzo told the reporter that he was married and had kids. But she was also really nice to him. So when the reporter messaged Alfonzo to see whether he found a place to stay that night, our hero saw an opening.

He responded in the most American way possible. With a picture of his penis.

Alfonzo’s X-Rated Hail Mary didn’t work. The reporter—former Washington Free Beacon intern Emma-Jo Morris—is married, and Alfonzo isn’t exactly her type. But as any good reporter would, the Free Beacon-trained scribe wrote about her day with Alfonzo, ensuring that his ballsy move would live forever. The Free Beacon exclusively obtained the image, but we have opted to redact it for the safety of our readers.

Being an American is about taking risks and shooting your shot, even when the odds are stacked against you. Was it the safe play for George Washington to sneak across the Delaware on Christmas 1776? Nope. Did it take balls for Supreme Allied commander Dwight Eisenhower to storm Normandy in 1944? You’re damn right it did. Those men walked the walk and paved the road for Alfonzo to roll the dice in 2022.

And Morris says Alfonzo’s still trying, sending her pictures on the reg, including the below of Alfonzo wearing a shirt that says, "Love Needs No Translation." Alas, they just don’t see eye to eye. (Well, they kinda did.)

Who knows whether illegal immigrant Alfonzo will ever become an American citizen. Honestly, we hope he never does. But for taking an American risk on his first day in the United States and going out on his limb, we’re proud to call Alfonzo a Washington Free Beacon Man of the Year.

Biden’s DHS released more than 150,000 illegal aliens into the U.S. in the summer 2021

The U.S. has been in the midst of a serious border crisis since Joe Biden took over.

There have been an astounding 5.5 million illegal alien encounters at the border since Biden took office. The actual number of those who entered secretly has to be considerably higher.

Breitbart reported that as part of a lawsuit against Biden’s Catch and Release policy, Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody showed internal DHS footage that exposed the extent of dereliction of duty on the part of the Biden administration.

In the video, an ICE official on a conference call can be heard telling other agents that more than 150,000 illegal aliens were released into the U.S. without a Notice to Appear (NTA) date in immigration court.

Biden’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) began this practice in March 2021.

Moody issued a statement that the Biden administration is purposefully releasing illegal aliens into U.S. towns and cities with no intention of deporting them even if they are found to not have valid asylum claims.

The latest estimates show that from February 2021 to October 2022, Biden’s DHS released at least 1.4 million illegal aliens into the U.S. interior.

This is a crisis like no other and its impact will remain forever.

Let's look at the various levels of impact of this influx.

These illegal aliens will be resettled into working-class neighborhoods in these states.

We know that planners of any locality set up facilities and resources directly proportional to the number of homes and citizens — living in that area.

When illegal aliens inundate these areas, the system is overwhelmed. The illegal aliens occupy infrastructure meant for citizens and which are paid for by citizens' tax money. 

When the sanitation and waste management facilities are overwhelmed, the surroundings become unhygienic and hazardous to the health of citizens.

If the aliens have contagious infections such as COVID-19, Monkeypox, tuberculosis, leishmaniasis, leprosy, dengue fever, hepatitis, Chagas disease, smallpox, polio, et al., which many do, once again, citizens are at risk of being infected by a disease they would never have encountered. It could overwhelm health facilities meant for citizens. Once again the citizen's needs are ignored.

These aliens are unvetted, which could mean some among them have violent proclivities or pasts. Once again the locality could be subjected to break-ins, burglaries, muggings, murders, rapes, robberies, and other violent crimes. At times, citizens pay with their lives. Law enforcement employs officials directly proportional to citizen presence, so when the zone is inundated by foreigners, they are overwhelmed and rendered helpless.

These are violations of the contract between the citizen and the government, i.e., what the citizen pays taxes for in exchange for infrastructure facilities and services in government.

Open border proponents often argue that crime is committed by citizens and infectious diseases are also spread by citizens. They even cite ‘statistics’ that claim illegal aliens are more law-abiding than citizens, while they accuse others of bigotry.

The answer to that is simple.

Just because the country has problems doesn't mean it is obliged to import additional problems from other nations to make matters worse.

Apart from the infrastructure, and government services, there is an impact on citizens’ wages

Impoverished and uneducated aliens often agree to work for less than minimum wage without benefits. This could cause citizens to suffer job redundancy or depression in wages and loss of benefits. Quite often the illegal aliens dispatch their untaxed earnings back to a foreign nation, resulting in a loss to the nation’s, as well as to the state and local, treasury.

The impact of uncontrolled migration is also cultural.

Some of these illegal aliens probably originate from cultures that still continue with anachronistic practices. Illegal aliens of this variety often expect citizens to respect their cultures and even alter their own lifestyles to not cause offense. At times, an 'offense' from citizens or even their compatriots can lead to 'honor' killings and other barbaric practices. There are other barbaric practices, too, such as child marriage, incestuous marriages, rape, beheadings, and many other unspeakable acts. 

In the end, culture and values represent the identity of a country, when culture erodes, so does the nation.

The main reason behind allowing this influx to occur is to change the demographics permanently. This has been a long-term project of the Democrats.

They permit the influx, allow the illegal aliens to remain forever, and grant them voting rights. It doesn’t have to be citizenship, mere voting rights are enough. The expectation is that this voter base will vote Democrat and overwhelm the impact of existing Republican voters, or else serve as repositories for ballot-harvesters, who only need to get hold of their ballots.

In time elections are rendered meaningless. 

The Democrats have successfully implemented this in New York and California, where even the incompetent and self-centered AOC, despite relentless proof of her inanities, will win with a landslide against the most honest, selfless, and smart Republican. The contests in these states are among left, far left, and socialists, not left vs. right.

It is important to understand that despite their claim of compassion, the Democrat leaders who support open borders never suffer the consequences of the policies they advocate. They live in affluent localities and their properties are surrounded by imposing walls. They are personally protected by armed bodyguards. 

A perfect example of this is when illegal aliens were transported to Martha’s Vineyard this September. This is where the Obamas and myriad ‘compassionate’ liberals reside.

So were these illegal aliens welcomed with open arms by these empathetic Democrats and given accommodation in their spacious mansions?

Obviously no.

Currently, only five out of those 49 remain on Martha’s Vineyard. The others have started new lives in different towns throughout Massachusetts. Some reside in government housing and shelters and are living at the expense of taxpayers.  In time, they will be resettled in working-class neighborhoods, perhaps in red states.

This plan many not always go well for the Democrats. 

Many of these illegal aliens are from South and Central American nations which are run by leftist dictators. They often have personally experienced atrocities, religious persecution, and poverty under these dictatorships in democracy's clothing. Their desire for freedom and liberty caused them to immigrate to the U.S. 

When they see Democrats attack religion, advocate socialism, and display totalitarian proclivities, they could be turned off (and we have already seen this in the Miami area) and will vote for Republicans.

So how did we get here.

Some may be surprised the left didn’t always advocate for open borders.

Just seven years ago, when socialist Bernie Sanders was running for the nomination of the Democrat party, he was asked about open borders.

He replied “The idea is a right-wing scheme meant to flood the U.S. with cheap labor and depress wages for native-born workers. I think from moral responsibility, we've got to work with the rest of the industrialized world to address the problems of international poverty. But you don't do that by making people in this country even poorer."

This has been the Marxist position.

But now for electoral gains, those principles and the compassion for the working class have melted into thin air.

In addition to targeting political opponents by misusing government agencies, manipulating narratives via the news and social media, ordering mandates, and altering demographics is another Democrat plan to attack U.S. democracy.

The least the Republican controlled House can do is initiate proceedings to impeach Biden for a violation of his oath of office by not enforcing the law at the border.

 

Brace yourselves: The record-breaking border crisis will probably be even worse in 2023

Despite more border arrests this year than ever recorded in United States history, the recent Supreme Court delay to end the Trump-era Title 42 declaration – which enabled the rapid removal of illegal border jumpers, in order to protect public health – will likely set the stage for even greater frontier chaos in the new year.

On November 15 of last year, U.S. District Judge Emmet Sullivan permitted the Biden administration to announce the impending end of special, pandemic-related measures put in place along the border pursuant to Title 42.

The term “Title 42” refers to the section of the United States Code where the Public Health Service Act of 1944 (PHSA) is set forth.

The PHSA was aimed at checking the spread of communicable disease in the event of a pandemic. It confers special authority on the Director of the Centers for Disease Control to prohibit “the introduction of persons and property” into the United States that might worsen a public health crisis.

That authority includes the removal of aliens whose presence in the U.S. might result in the continued propagation of a pandemic.

Accordingly, pursuant to the Trump administration’s Title 42 declaration U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) was able to administratively remove aliens apprehended near the Southern border without a hearing before an Immigration judge.  

Unsurprisingly, anti-borders activists cheered Judge Sullivan’s directive. While the Trump administration clearly stated that Title 42 authority was being used to help stop the spread of COVID-19, illegal alien advocates complained that the policy was a smokescreen that would allow the rapid removal of “migrants.”

Of course, critics of Team Trump’s Title 42 declaration appeared to be unaware of the fact that foreign nationals have absolutely no right to enter the United States, or to remain here, without authorization from the U.S. government.  

Per the District Court order, the White House was to cease summarily expelling aliens pursuant to the Title 42 declaration as early as December 21. The U.S. Supreme Court has put that ruling on hold for now. However, it is unclear why the Biden administration – which insists that we are still in the midst of some type of COVID-19 emergency – is in a hurry to encourage even more people to violate American immigration laws.

Nearly 2.4 million migrant arrests have already been made this year on the border with Mexico – pushing our country’s immigration enforcement resources to the brink of collapse. These record numbers are entirely the result of foreigners who wish to travel to the U.S. believing that President Biden has opened our borders.

And the situation is only going to get worse should Title 42 be completely rescinded – because those outside the U.S. who want to be inside will inevitably interpret the rescission as a renewed invitation to make it inside the U.S. and wait for an amnesty. Department of Homeland Security officials told the media in March that they expect as many as 18,000 migrants per day at the border.

In fact, the situation at the U.S.-Mexico border is so unstable that even prominent members of the Democrat party have begun sounding the alarm. On November 18, Democrat Sens. Kyrsten Sinema and Mark Kelly of Arizona, Jon Tester of Montana, and Maggie Hassan of New Hampshire sent a letter addressed to DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas stating, “We are writing to express our deep concerns regarding the sudden impact that [Sullivan’s ruling] could have on border communities, nongovernmental organizations (NGOs), [and] the men and women of the Department of Homeland Security.”

The senators went on to say that unprecedented number of encounters between CBP and illegal aliens have created “untenable” situations and demanded answers as to how DHS will handle crisis. Ultimately, they noted, “This is not safe, and creates a dangerous situation for migrants and communities.”

Title 42 was, ultimately, a special measure designed to aid in protecting the U.S. from a pandemic. It was never intended to last forever. However, in a sea of devastatingly misguided immigration policy decisions, it represented an anchor of sanity that permitted the Border Patrol to continue doing its job.  

In reality, there are a number of provisions found within the Immigration and Nationality Act that would allow the president to declare a border crisis, thereby permitting CBP to exercise powers similar to those accorded to it under the PHSA. But the Biden administration – with its radically pro migration policies – is unlikely to employ those tools.

As a result, the virtual anarchy that currently prevails along our southern border is likely to prevail well into the future.

Illegal Aliens – Prisoners and Children – Exploited in Sweatshops

How large corporations in AZ and AL use illegals at low wages and long hours to boost profits.

Another day, another batch of fresh reports about outrageous labor abuse featuring illegal aliens in the Land of the Free. Tragically, once again the horrific Industrial Revolution specter of mistreated child workers is prominently featured.

On Nov. 14, Liberty Nation reported that the US Labor Department had discovered a major food sanitation cleaning company for meatpackers had “at least 31 children” working under extremely hazardous conditions. The company involved, Packers Sanitation Services Inc. LTD (PSSI), has been known to rely on illegal aliens to perform job duties that frequently involve serious bodily injury and even death. December brings more evidence of massive unchecked illegal immigration spurring a return to the working environment of America’s sweatshop days circa 1905.

Illegal Aliens Contracted Out by the State

An investigation by The Arizona Republic discovered that local companies in the Grand Canyon State are hiring prisoners who have US Immigrations and Customs Enforcement detainers against them as hourly workers. The paper wrote on Dec. 12:

“At least 18 people who have the detainers, which means that they can be turned over to immigration officials and deported from the country, were involved in jobs including packaging salads for one of the world’s largest fresh food processors, building trusses and frames for homes for a local construction company and working for lead-generating telecommunications companies. Those jobs paid at least $4.75 an hour, far below the federal or state minimum wage or what companies would actually pay for the work on the outside.”

Shawshank State Prison Warden Samuel Norton would be proud. It’s hard to imagine a more ludicrous image of the degradation of the modern American workplace than a criminal illegal alien that ICE wants to deport cold-calling people around the country at a telemarketing phone bank.

Prisoners have long been made to work, of course. But farming out inmates to private companies is far different from having them repair state roads or work the fields that provide food to the jailhouse kitchen. Pair this state-controlled cheap-labor employment agency with the explosion in illegal immigration numbers and a climate is created in which prisons have a de facto incentive to welcome easily exploitable foreigners into their yards.

“The Republic found an additional eight people classified with ICE detainers who had worked directly for Arizona Correctional Industries, a for-profit business run by the Department of Corrections. ACI uses prisoners and pays them sub-minimum wages to do forced labor for companies,” the paper continued.

“The Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation and Reentry has used at least 15,700 ‘Mexican nationals’ as hired hands over the past 15 years. Those prisoners are people who were born in Mexico and either have legal residency here, don’t have authorization to live here or are here under a visa program,” The Republic related.

Things get much uglier in Alabama. An investigation has found “at least four major” auto parts suppliers to car makers Hyundai and its subsidiary Kia have utilized child labor in recent years. Reuters reported Dec. 16:

“At a plant owned by Hwashin America Corp, a supplier to the two car brands in the south Alabama town of Greenville, a 14-year-old Guatemalan girl worked this May assembling auto body components, according to interviews with her father and law enforcement officials. At plants owned by Korean auto-parts maker Ajin Industrial Co, in the east Alabama town of Cusseta, a former production engineer told Reuters he worked with at least ten minors. And six other ex-employees of Ajin said they, too, worked alongside multiple underage laborers.”

These are not isolated incidents. “[A]s many as 10 Alabama plants that supply parts to Hyundai or Kia have been investigated for child labor by various state and federal law enforcement or regulatory agencies, according to two people familiar with the probes,” Reuters stated. Just as with meatpacking sanitation company PSSI, which brings in hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue each year, we are dealing here with a highly successful large corporation that benefits financially from the vile exploitation of children as cheap labor.

New Banner Illegal Immigration Hyundai’s “fast growth and popularity in recent years has led it to become the third-largest automaker by U.S. sales,” Reuters noted. In July, the wire service reported that a 12-year-old boy was working alongside his 14-year-old sister and 15-year-old brother at a Hyundai-owned auto parts supplier essential to its assembly line in Montgomery.

The “children … were among a larger cohort of underage workers who found jobs at the Hyundai-owned supplier over the past few years, according to interviews with a dozen former and current plant employees and labor recruiters,” Reuters related. “Several of these minors, they said, have foregone schooling in order to work long shifts at the plant, a sprawling facility with a documented history of health and safety violations, including amputation hazards.”

Real human beings are suffering due to the federal government’s refusal to secure US borders, and the very nature of work in this country is being profoundly warped in a way that inevitably impacts working-class citizens.

Census: Foreign-Born Population Increases Across All 50 States in 2022

The foreign-born population grew across all 50 states and Washington, DC, this year, a result of the nation’s decades-long legal immigration levels, the latest United States Census Bureau figures show.

While the foreign-born population grew nationwide, California, Florida, and Texas saw the highest gains.  California, which lost overall residents this year, added nearly 128,000 immigrants to its population.

Florida, the fastest-growing state in the nation, added more than 125,600 immigrants to its population, while Texas added almost 119,000 immigrants this year.

The South, with 128.7 million residents, was the fastest-growing region in the nation this year, fueled by 868,000 Americans moving to the area from other states and the arrival of almost 415,000 immigrants.

As Breitbart News reported, the U.S. population hit 333.3 million residents this year. More than 80 percent of that population growth is due to the nation’s legal immigration levels, where more than a million foreign nationals are given green cards each year and another million arrive on temporary work visas to take American jobs.

The process known as “chain migration,” wherein newly naturalized citizens can sponsor an unlimited number of foreign relatives for green cards, drives more than 70 percent of the nation’s legal immigration every year.

Without the continued flow of legal immigration to the U.S., the population would have stabilized naturally with about 245,000 new residents added.

Research conducted last year shows that the nation’s foreign-born population is projected to hit a record nearly 70 million by 2060 if current legal immigration levels go unreduced. Today’s foreign-born population, at 48 million, is already the largest number of immigrants ever recorded in American history.

The latest Rasmussen Reports survey finds that 69 percent of Americans want legal immigration levels reduced — including a plurality of 36 percent who want levels cut in at least half. Likewise, 57 percent of Americans want to end chain migration.

As tens of thousands of illegal border stream on in into the U.S. and get waved through by Joe Biden's officials, the press is making a big deal about the record low temperatures the migrants are encountering.

They are pretty well going to town with this "record cold" stuff, using it to portray Abbott as a heartless bastard, even though the bus trips were voluntary, the buses themselves were heated, and alternative seems to have been to let the migrants sleep in the streets of border cities such as ice-cold El Paso, which is what a lot of the 10,000 who rolled through that city this week, are doing.

Seems the press claims "compassion" for the migrants only if Greg Abbott puts them on a bus to some other city.

Never mind that with shelters full, and the domestic homeless populations being shut out of them, federal officials are doing the same thing, dropping off busloads of the incoming migrants in places like San Diego (which is the only warm spot in the country) now. News reports say that San Diego's shelters are now filled to the brim, too.

The whole approach is dishonest, because the migrants are coming in from Mexico, which is also experiencing record-cold temperatures. Whether the migrants stay in Mexico, cross illegally into El Paso, or volunteer to take a heated bus to Washington, D,C, they are going to be cold no matter what.

Let's once again look at what the temperatures are like in Mexico's border cities right now, checking Accuweather. As of this writing, we have:

Matamoros: 50 degrees Fahrenheit.

Nuevo Laredo: 43 degrees.

Juarez: 38 degrees.

Piedras Negras: 37 degrees.

Nogales (Mexican side): 43 degrees.

Accuweather notes a dramatic warmup in the past day. It should be noted that night time temperatures all drop dramatically by about 10 or 15 degrees.

Let's look at what these same temperatures were on Christmas eve, when the rage about Abbott was going strongest:

I checked Accuweather yesterday and found these temperatures in my piece here:

Juarez: 29 degrees.

Matamoros: 33 degrees.

Nuevo Laredo: 28 degrees.

So logically speaking, the migrants would be just as cold if they stayed in Mexico as they would if they crossed over illegally into the U.S. They might be more likely to get a free coat, a free meal, and a free bus right here, but that is the only difference.

Left unsaid is how it could be that migrants who can pay smugglers thousands of dollars to cross illegally into the states somehow not remember or have the resources to buy a coat. Coats are perfectly available for purchase in northern Mexico, and they aren't expensive there, so the failure to plan must be part of the belief that Uncle Sam will pay for everything when they get there. When I travel to a foreign country, I pay attention to what kind of clothing I will need and certainly don't expect my host country to pay for my hotel. The migrants? Not so much.

Which brings us to the real source of the problem: That Joe Biden has created this humanitarian crisis by inviting the migrants in through his policies, and creating great expectations for full care -- transport, food, warm clothing, medical care, education, and housing, all free of charge, with incoming illegal border crossers not even charged fees for seeking asylum. It's all free and who wouldn't take 'free'?

That's the root of the crisis and why we now see migrants sleeping on the streets of El Paso, being dumped by the Border Patrol at San Diego County bus stops, purchasing plane tickets in San Diego for flights out and waiting at the airport for the flights to resume, or transported by bus to Kamala Harris's mansion gate. 

Biden invited them in, Biden tell the American people that this is all seasonal and spontaneous or else because global warming, and he fails to use the tools he's been given to only allow in those who have likely valid asylum cases, taking all comers instead, the vast majority of whom are looking for a better life, and a certain number of whom are criminals who can't get in the legal way. 

Now we have a humanitarian crisis with the record cold, and Joe Biden's press minions are trying to blame those trying to call it to Joe Biden's attention. Biden can't even be bothered to visit the border, claiming as he has that he has "more important things." Tell that to the people freezing in the cold who were enticed by Joe to come on in.

Noem: Biden Is ‘Destroying Our Border’ to ‘Remake America’

South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem (R) said Tuesday on FNC’s “Fox & Friends” that President Joe Biden is “destroying our border” on “purpose” to “remake” the country.

Noem said, “It’s not a governor’s job. It’s the federal government’s job to secure our border. Greg Abbott is doing what he needs to do down there, spending billions of dollars a year to secure the border because of the failure of the Biden Administration. So, you talk about them building a tent down there on the border. I think that that is just showing the agenda that the federal government has. This isn’t unexpected. This isn’t something that they didn’t foresee happening. This is on purpose. This is on purpose that they are destroying our border because they want to remake this country into something that is not built on the trust that our Founders gave people themselves. Listen, personal responsibility was something that our Founders wanted to give to the people of this country. They wanted them to be able to defend themselves, to make choices for their families, to be able to have liberty and freedom. They didn’t envision what Joe Biden wants for this country.”

She added, “The Biden administration is doing this on purpose. I think it’s time that the American people, whether you are Republican, Democrat, Independent or not even political that you, recognize that what this president is doing is trying to remake America.”

Most Americans Don’t Know How Bad the Border Crisis Is

Now we see what happens when the media ignore a story.

This week could mark the most consequential development on the U.S.-Mexico border since January 2021, when President Joe Biden essentially opened the nation’s doors to millions of illegal border crossers. Depending on how court fights turn out, Title 42, the Trump-era measure that allows the U.S. government to quickly return illegal crossers to Mexico on the grounds of preventing the spread of COVID, will likely soon expire. After that, officials expect a flood of illegal crossers, all coming into the United States confident that they, like hundreds of thousands before them just this year, will be allowed to stay.

The disaster will come on top of the Biden administration’s currently disastrous border policy. In fiscal year 2022, the period from Oct. 1, 2021 to Sept. 30, 2022, Border Patrol agents encountered a record number of migrants crossing illegally into the United States — 2,378,944. Add onto that the estimated 600,000 illegal crossers who got away without any contact with the Border Patrol, and that means close to 3 million border crossers in a single year. The two months since the beginning of the new fiscal year have seen crossings at an even higher rate. And that is before the Title 42 change.

Already, the numbers have risen to unheard-of levels. Recently the Border Patrol reported encountering 16,000 migrants in just 48 hours — 8,000 per day. Compare that to the assessment of Jeh Johnson, President Barack Obama’s head of homeland security, who once said that 1,000 encounters a day constituted a crisis. Now, there are predictions that post-Title 42 encounters might hit as many as 14,000 a day.

Cities and towns along the border have been overwhelmed since the Biden changes took place. Look at these figures from El Paso, Texas, in a story by the Washington Examiner’s Anna Giaritelli: “According to all the data that are publicly available from the city, the 678,000 residents of El Paso have seen 84,082 immigrants released into their town between August 22 and December 11.” That’s an extraordinary influx in the last few months, repeated in other U.S. communities along the border.

But perhaps just as extraordinary has been the decision by many major media organizations that what is happening on the border is no big deal. In particular, major television news networks, with the notable exception of Fox News, have virtually pretended that the crisis was not happening. Recently Fox’s Bill Melugin, who has covered the current crisis close-up since it began, was asked about coverage on the national networks. “I can count on one hand the amount of times I’ve seen them down here in my 19 months of covering this,” Melugin said.

Now, we are seeing what happens when so many in the media ignore a story. A new Harvard-Harris poll shows that Americans have no idea how bad the crisis is. When asked how many illegal crossers are entering the United States, they grossly underestimate the number. They are, in short, in the dark about what is happening on the border.

The pollsters asked: “How many border crossings by illegal immigrants do you think are occurring each year?” They were then given several ranges of numbers to choose from. Now remember, the correct answer for fiscal year 2022 is nearly 3 million.

Sixteen percent guessed that less than 100,000 illegal border crossers entered the United States in a year. Another 21% estimated that somewhere between 100,000 and 250,000 entered the U.S. Another 18% guessed between 250,000 and 500,000. And then 20% guessed between 500,000 and 1 million.

After that, 12% estimated between 1 million and 2 million cross in a year. And then 6% said between 2 million and 3 million. Finally, 7% said the number was over 3 million.

Remember again that the correct answer is about 3 million. All told, 87% of those surveyed underestimated the number of illegal border crossers each year. Significant groups of Americans really underestimated the number — about one-third believed fewer than 250,000 crossers are coming each year, which is a remarkably uninformed opinion. More than half believe less than 500,000 are coming, another remarkably uninformed opinion.

How is it that so many people are so ignorant of what is happening? Might the answer have something to do with the fact that so many news organizations have ignored the problem? Ignore the story and you’ll have ignorant viewers.

The information deficit among so many Americans favors the Biden administration. If more people knew the true scope of the problem the president’s policies have created, then more would likely be concerned, and more would oppose the administration’s actions. Indeed, the Harvard-Harris pollsters, once they informed respondents of the correct answer, asked, “Given these numbers, should the administration continue its current policies or issue new, stricter policies to reduce the flow of people coming across the border?” Sixty-seven percent of those polled favored new, stricter policies, while just 33% wanted to continue current policies.

If more people knew what was happening, more people would demand change.

Open borders have consequences: they feed votes to pro-illegal alien pols while creating havens for criminals. A recent update by ICE is a reminder of how bad the open borders crime crisis is.

Deportation officers from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) Washington, D.C. field office arrested a Salvadoran fugitive, who is listed as one of El Salvador’s top 100 most wanted criminals. ERO Washington D.C. apprehended Herberth Bonilla-Garcia, 40, during a targeted operation in Manassas, Virginia Dec. 1.

Bonilla-Garcia previously entered the U.S. at least twice on an unknown date, at an unknown location without, and without having been admitted or paroled by a designated immigration official. He was previously removed from the U.S. in both 2006 and 2012.

So much for those removals. When there’s no border security, removals are meaningless. Anyone with the funds and resources to try again can get back into America.

This cat-and-mouse chase with foreign criminals is aided and abetted by pro-crime sanctuary cities and states.

ERO Los Angeles Officers apprehended Luciano Trejo-Dominguez, 31, during a targeted enforcement operation in the city of Santa Ana, California. A Newark, New Jersey immigration judge ordered Trejo, one of ICE’s 10 most wanted fugitives, removed on October 5, 2021.

Trejo is also the subject of an arrest warrant issued by the sheriff’s office in Bridgeton, New Jersey, for failure to appear related to an aggravated sexual assault offense involving a victim 13 to 15 years old.

Trejo originally came to ERO’s attention in Aug. 2018, while he was incarcerated for contempt of court in the Cumberland County Jail in Portland, Maine.

ERO encountered Trejo again in 2019 while he was in the Vineland Police Department’s custody for assault. Following his release from the Vineland Police Department’s custody, he was taken into ICE custody. He was later granted an immigration bond and released from ICE custody. An immigration detainer was issued for Trejo again Aug. 13, 2019, following his arrest the previous day by Vineland Police Department for aggravated sexual assault. That detainer was not honored.

Trejo was returned to his home country of Mexico Dec. 9.

Will he be back? Almost as certain as Arnold Schwartzenegger will do another ad incorporating one of his catchphrases. And Americans will go on paying the price for the demographic transformation of America.

Bottom line, all of these new services for illegal border crossers are bonanzas, not just for the NGOs who benefit, they are benefits for human smuggling rackets, who can now advertise these wares as part of their illegal alien benefit packages and use the news of them to draw more business. Biden is helping that bunch ultimately with these free-hotel contracts even Americans in distress don't get. Cartels will use this incentive to drum up more business.

EXCLUSIVE: 1100 Migrants Cross West Texas Border in Five Hours

Del Rio Sector Border Patrol agents apprehended more than 1,100 migrants during a five-hour period Tuesday morning. The apprehensions took place in a small section of the border south of Eagle Pass. Agents apprehended more than 400 in a single group.

Between 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. Tuesday morning, agents apprehended approximately 1,000 migrants who crossed the border from Piedras Negras, Mexico, into the U.S., according to a source operating under the umbrella of U.S. Customs and Border Protection. The source reported the largest group to be more than 400 migrants who crossed at the same time.

In addition, agents apprehended more than 200 migrants in a single group further north but still on the south side of Eagle Pass.

The source said the migrants consisted mainly of Cuban migrants. The groups also included migrants from Ecuador and Nicaragua.

Human smugglers use the large migrant group tactic to tie up Border Patrol resources for hours. This enables them to move drugs and other high-value human cargo” across the border with less chance of being apprehended. The large groups who crossed in the overnight hours this morning caused agents to remain on duty for nearly 12 hours, the source stated. Other resources had to be called in early.

The Del Rio Sector leads the nation in large migrant group apprehensions, Chief Patrol Agent Jason D. Owens previously tweeted.

During the first two months of Fiscal Year 23, Del Rio Sector agents apprehended more than 90,000 migrants, according to the November Southwest Land Border Encounters report published by U.S. Customs and Border Protection Report late on the Friday night before Christmas. This is second only to the El Paso Sector where agents apprehended more than 106,000 migrants during this period.

Cartel Gunmen Brag on Social Media Showing Cocaine-Filled Airplanes

Cartel members are flaunting their activities on social media to offer insights into their world. On Christmas, a short video clip from inside a cockpit appears to show a small plane flying through Mexico.

The video shows the inside of a small propeller plane where the passengers present three rifles and then pan the camera out a window. A narco-song called Linea Directa plays in the background.

In the social media post, cartel members added the word “Mayiza,” referencing the Sinaloa Cartel faction led by Ismael “El Mayo Zambada. A date for the recording is unclear.

On December 5, Mexican military forces seized a cocaine shipment flown into the Mazatlan International Airport, Sinaloa Hoy reported. The traffickers used a Cessna-type craft to move the drugs presumably from Puerto Vallarta to Mazatlan. Though authorities seized 10 packages of cocaine, they did not make any arrests.

The Sinaloa Cartel has a long history of using small planes to move drugs from Central and South America into and around Mexico. The main product is usually cocaine. Late last month, cartel gunmen shared videos where small planes could be seen at clandestine airstrips in Mexico.

Kamala Harris received a Christmas gift from the great state of Texas. As the clock struck midnight, and December 24th became December 25th, Kamala Harris looked outside her window, encountering three busloads of illegals. Based on Harris’ record as the “border czar” for Joe Biden, and her statements on illegal immigration, she should be very happy that the illegals were brought close to home. For Kamala, this was a magical Christmas indeed!

The New York Post reports, “About 110 to 130 men, women, and children were let off near the Naval Observatory in temperatures that hovered around 15 degrees on Saturday night, Christmas Eve.” Of course, the Naval Observatory is the residence of the Vice President. If the illegals were suffering from the cold weather, why didn’t the Vice President let them into her home? How immoral. Soon, the charlatan media will say that Governor Greg Abbott is such a horrible person for playing politics with the lives of illegals. However, the one at fault is Kamala Harris. Harris and Joe Biden are directly responsible for the argosy of illegals that are pouring through our southern border, and yet they keep saying that our border is “secure.”

Then came the attacks. “White House spokesman Abdullah Hasan called the bus drop-offs a “cruel, dangerous, and shameful stunt.” A stunt? Where was the White House when the illegals started crossing the Rio Grande into Texas, Arizona, Nevada, and other states? Of course, the White House was very quiet. Since Biden and Harris don’t live in any of the border states, then illegal immigration is not a problem. Remember when Florida governor Ron DeSantis sent 50 illegals to the utopian paradise of Martha’s Vineyard? The liberal Karens began to cry and complain about how immoral DeSantis is. Yet, no one ever hears them complain when thousands of illegals show up out of the blue in Texas. All of a sudden, crime goes up. I wonder why.

Harris has yet to comment on the matter. Yet, one can suspect she will start saying contumacious things about Governor Abbott and how “racist” he is. Indeed, this is how the Left operates. If you disagree with them, you’re a misogynistic, transphobic, xenophobic, racist bigot. The migrants who were dropped at Kamala’s home were mainly from South and Central America. The trip took two days from Texas to Washington D.C. This marks the second time Greg Abbott has sent illegals to the VP’s home. In September, Abbott had sent two busloads of illegal migrants to Harris’ home and continued to do that through the Fall. Moreover, as pressure mounts to end Title 42, illegal immigration will only get worse, jeopardizing the lives of Americans. Recently, Abbott sent a letter to Joe Biden stating, “This terrible crisis for border communities in Texas is a catastrophe of your own making.” Indeed, this is true. Under President Trump’s policies, we had a secure border, we were a sovereign nation. Now, under Joe Biden, we have become a sanctuary country, housing illegals, and treating them better than our own citizens. As a result, crime has soared, and Americans have felt financial burdens, in the name of “morality.”

All in all, the United States is no longer a sovereign country. We defend other nations’ borders, yet we refuse to defend our own. The impact this has on American lives is devastating. There is a fentanyl crisis and soaring crime. Harris and Biden are at fault for the mess our country is in. They say the border is “secure” and they call us conspiracy theorists. However, the moment you send a couple of illegals near their homes, they cry wolf and complain about how “immoral” Republicans are. In the end, their only trait is being immoral.

Poll Shows Media, Politicians Hide Migration Numbers from Americans

Public opposition to President Joe Biden’s lax border policies surges when voters discover the huge scale of the economic migration, according to polling data from a December survey by Harvard CAPS/Harris Poll.

The poll asked 1,851 registered voters:

Over 2.75 million came into the United States illegally over a twelve-month period ending September 2022, more than 1 million more immigrants the previous 12 month period. Given these numbers, should the administration continue its current policies or issue new, stricter policies to reduce the flow of people coming across the border?

In response, 81 percent of Republicans and 68 percent of swing-voting independents called for stricter policies.

Just one-third of all voters were content with current lax border policies once they learned the real numbers, according to the poll

A prior question showed just 56 percent of independents disapproved of Biden’s lax policies.

The problem and opportunity for Republicans is that the establishment media hides the scale of Biden’s migration, as well as the pocketbook impacts on American families. Establishment media outlets also refuse to sum up the annual inflow of legal and illegal migrants and instead prefer to treat illegal migration as a non-economic issue of civil rights or of law and order.

The poll also showed that the public — including Republicans — grossly underestimate the scale of migration.

In 2022, Biden’s deputies allowed almost two million southern migrants to enter the country alongside more than one million legal immigrants and visa workers. The total 2022 inflow of more than three million was close to the number of 3.6 million births in 2021.

But the Harvard/Harris poll showed that 67 percent of Republicans and 87 percent of Democrats thought the southern inflow in 2022 was less than a million people. In fact, a third of Republicans and a quarter of Democrats thought the inflow was less than 250,000.

Harvard CAPS/Harris PollThe public’s misunderstanding is expected because many establishment media outlets hide the numbers, usually by saying that Biden is allowing only “thousands” of migrants to cross — not “hundreds of thousands” or “millions.”

For example, Politico.com reported in December that “Over the last month, thousands of migrants have crossed into the U.S. at the Texas border ahead of the expiration of Title 42.” But in late December, Bidens’ deputies quietly admitted that 230,740 migrants were registered crossing the border during November. Officials allowed 166,756 to stay and get jobs and homes in the United States.

In November, the New York Times reported that “in recent months, the United States had allowed thousands of Venezuelans to enter the country and ask for asylum.” But that language downplayed the huge number of Venezuelan migrants — even though the federal government shows that 85,000 Venezuelans entered during the prior five months.

“It certainly seems that the corporate media is largely on board with trying to obscure the extent of the problem,” said Robert Law, director of the Center of Homeland Security and Immigration at the America First Policy Institute:

We have a government and a lot of special interest groups go out of their way to obscure it, to hide what the real levels are by talking about the problem in the abstract. That just allows people to reach their own conclusions, and they tend to low-ball the numbers compared to reality ….

The [media] people who write [immigration] articles are well aware of the outrage that would actually happen if it was quantified properly.

However, both Republicans and Democrats also try to minimize the scale and impact of the migration.

Both parties rely heavily on donors who support the continued importation of more wage-cutting workers, revenue-boosting consumers, and rent0-spiking renters.

The GOP’s avoidance was spotlighted by a December 21 press conference where six Republican senators complained about the civic impact of illegal migration — but said nothing about the pocketbook damage to Americans.

“We’re going to continue to see terrorists come across our border, criminals come across our border, drugs come across our border, more Americans are going to die,” Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL) said at the event. “I’m from an immigration state — we like legal immigration,” he added.

Throughout 2021 and the 2022 election, nearly all Republican politicians declined to mention the pocketbook damage of migration, despite promising polling data.

Biden’s massive inflow of at least three million migrants is far above what Americans want.

An April 2021 poll by the pro-migration CATO Institute showed that almost half of Americans want just less than 100,000 migrants per year. Another 42 percent favored somewhere between 500,000 and one million migrants per year.

In fact, the current inflow is so great that 52 percent of independents, 72 percent of Republicans, and even 41 percent of Democrats say Biden is “creating an open border [not] just trying to enforce immigration laws more humanely.”

A poll in July showed that many Americans view Biden’s migration as an invasion. Breitbart News reported:

The shocking result shows the breadth of public opposition in the poll, which also showed 54 percent of all Americans describe Biden’s migration as an “invasion.

The “invasion” view is mainstream: 58 percent of white Americans — and 40 percent of Democrats — say Biden’s global invite is an invasion, according to data released on August 19 by Ipsos.

The public thinks Biden’s inflow is also boosting drug smuggling, the Harvard Harris poll showed. Seventy-seven percent of Republicans and 60 percent of independents say that “the Biden border policies are increasing the flow of drugs and crime to the United States.”

The inflow has forced down Americans’ wages and boosted rents and housing prices. The influx has also pushed many native-born Americans out of careers in a wide variety of business sectors and has reduced native-born Americans’ clout in local and national elections.

The federal government’s supply of imported wage-cutting workers has also shifted job-creating investment away from heartland states and towards wealthy coastal states, such as Florida, California, New York, and Texas.

President Joe Biden’s White House is condemning Texas Gov. Greg Abbott’s (R) sending migrant buses to Vice President Kamala Harris’ Washington, DC residence on Christmas Eve in freezing temperatures.

As Breitbart News reported, Abbott sent three buses filled with roughly 130 border crossers to Harris’s D.C. residence, the Naval Observatory, on Christmas Eve when temperatures ranged from seven degrees to 22 degrees.

Abdullah Hasan, a spokesman for Biden’s White House, released a statement condemning the migrant buses and suggesting that Abbott put the border crossers in harm’s way.

“Governor Abbott abandoned children on the side of the road in below-freezing temperatures on Christmas Eve without coordinating with any federal or local authorities,” Hasan said. “This was a cruel, dangerous and shameful stunt.”

Biden’s condemning Abbott’s migrant buses comes as his administration has released over a million border crossers and illegal aliens into the United States interior since taking office.

From February 2021 to October 2022, estimates indicate that the Biden administration has released some 1.4 million border crossers and illegal aliens American towns and cities — leaving all to deal with the immense social, economic, and cultural costs of illegal immigration.

Recently published data reveals that border crossers and illegal aliens, released into the U.S. interior by the Biden administration, have arrived in all 50 states over the last nearly two years.

Annually, illegal immigration costs American taxpayers more than $143 billion.

Three buses full of border crossers arrived from Texas to Vice President Kamala Harris’s Washington, DC, residence late on Christmas Eve. Harris, as with other migrants sent to her residence, did not greet the arrivals.

Amid freezing temperatures, some 130 border crossers arrived on buses to Harris’s residence — the Naval Observatory — sent by Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R), who has been sending migrant buses to the location for months now.

According to reports, the three migrant buses were initially set to arrive in New York City on Christmas Day but were rerouted as a result of road closures because of the below freezing weather.

As the border crossers arrived at Harris’s residence, many were in nothing more than t-shirts and sandals and carrying blankets to keep warm. Soon after their arrival, the arrivals were bused to a nearby church.

Abbott initially started the migrant buses-to-sanctuary-cities operation to relieve Texans of the burden of record-setting illegal immigration at the United States-Mexico border under President Joe Biden’s watch.

The Biden administration is projected to oversee 2.6 million border crossers and illegal aliens arriving at the border next year — a figure that would eclipse this year’s record of about 2.3 million encounters.

Many of those apprehended are briefly detained before being released into American towns and cities. From February 2021 to October 2022, estimates indicate that the Biden administration has released some 1.4 million border crossers and illegal aliens into the U.S. interior.

A recent poll from the Los Angeles Times finds that a 65 percent majority of Americans say they oppose Biden’s expansive Catch and Release network, preferring to have border crossers and illegal aliens detained or sent to Mexico while awaiting their asylum hearings.

Authorities in Tijuana continue looking into a gruesome crime scene where cartel gunmen left six dead bodies stashed in a van. Information provided to Breitbart Texas by law enforcement sources revealed that authorities were among the victims.

The murders took place this week at a shopping center in Tijuana shortly after noon. Authorities initially responded to a call about a suspicious white van. Inside, they found the bodies of five men and a woman who had been reported missing over the past weekend.

 A statement from the Baja California government revealed that the van had been reported stolen months prior to the discovery.

Law enforcement sources revealed to Breitbart Texas that days before to the discovery, gunmen stormed a gentleman’s club called Villa de Marisol and killed a bar employee before kidnapping four customers and two employees. One of the employees was the female victim in the van.

The killings come at a time when Tijuana has seen a rise in violence as rival factions of the Sinaloa Cartel seek turf while fighting off incursions from Cartel Jalisco New Generation.

San Bernardino County residents voted for officials to study the possibility of seceding from California as more grow increasingly tired of the state’s far-left policies.

The county approved the advisory ballot proposal, which was voted upon in November, earlier this week, the Associated Press (AP) reported. San Bernardino’s Board of Supervisors’ next step is likely to form a committee that will study if state and federal public funds were fairly distributed with local governments within the county.

Curt Hagman, the chairman of the Board of Supervisors, says there is “a lot of frustration” that San Bernardino residents have toward the left-wing governing policies of Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) and the Democrat-controlled state legislature.

Residents in the county, and across the state, pay the highest taxes in the nation while also living under soaring rates of crime, homelessness, and high housing costs.

Many are also irate over the state’s COVID-19 policies, which saw public school students forced into remote learning early in the pandemic, while the state waw one of the last to discontinue the policy. Remote learning caused considerable academic setbacks for K to 12 students within the state, including negatively impacting younger students’ learning skills, Breitbart News reported.

As a result, droves of California residents and businesses have moved to states such as Arizona, Texas, Florida, and Nevada to escape the high taxes and the volatile political climate. From 2020 to 2022, California lost over 352,000 residents, according to the state’s Department of Finance statistics.

While registered Democrat voters outnumber Republican voters by 12 points, Newsom lost San Bernardino County by five points in the November gubernatorial election. Still, the incumbent governor easily went on to win reelection.

The county is the largest by area in California and the contiguous United States, stretching from the urban regions of the City of San Bernardino to the rural areas bordering Arizona and Nevada. Moreover, it is the fifth most populace county in the Golden State, with more than two million residents.

Attempts to secede and become the 51st state in the union are unlikely, as the proposal would require approval from the Democrat state legislature and Congress.

Although Hagman noted that he does not want to secede from California, he says he understands the voters may feel alienated from Sacramento’s policies, telling the AP, “It’s been a rough few years.”

Similar calls for secession from the coastal liberal enclaves of California have been made for years. In 2017, activists filed a lawsuit to create the “State of Jefferson” from 21 counties in the northern part of the state. However, every secession attempt from the state has been unsuccessful.

DEA Counts 379,000,000 Deadly Doses of Fentanyl Seized in 2022

(CNSNews.com) - Here's a stunning year-ender: The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration on Tuesday announced the seizure of more than 50.6 million fentanyl-laced, fake prescription pills and more than 10,000 pounds of fentanyl powder this calendar year.

The DEA Laboratory estimates that those seizures represent more than 379,000,000 potentially deadly doses of fentanyl -- enough to kill everyone in this country, plus another 46,000,000 people.

As of December 19, 2022 the Census Bureau estimated the U.S. population to be 333,339,357.

"Fentanyl is the deadliest drug threat facing this country," the DEA said in a news release. "It is a highly addictive man-made opioid that is 50 times more potent than heroin. Just two milligrams of fentanyl, the small amount that fits on the tip of a pencil, is considered a potentially deadly dose."

DEA said its top operational priority is to "defeat" the two Mexican drug cartels -- Sinaloa and Jalisco (CJNG) -- that are primarily responsible for the fentanyl that is killing Americans today.

Anne Milgram, the agency's administrator, said most of the fentanyl trafficked by the Sinaloa and CJNG cartels is being mass-produced at secret factories in Mexico with chemicals sourced largely from China.

In 2021, the DEA issued a Public Safety Alert on the widespread drug trafficking of fentanyl in the form of fentanyl-laced, fake prescription pills, which are often deadly. DEA says the only safe pills are those prescribed by a doctor and dispensed by a licensed pharmacist.

In 2022, DEA says it seized more than double the amount of fentanyl-laced, fake prescription pills than it seized in 2021, so the problem is getting much worse.

According to the CDC, 107,375 people in the United States died of drug overdoses and drug poisonings in the 12-month period ending in January 2022. Sixty-seven percent of those deaths involved synthetic opioids like fentanyl.

Fentanyl isn't the only cross-border threat: DEA says in 2022, it also seized nearly 131,000 pounds of methamphetamine; more than 4,300 pounds of heroin; and over 444,000 pounds of cocaine.

In addition, human trafficking is surging as people from many poor countries flood across the southwest border, enriching the same cartels that are killing so many Americans with fentanyl.

(CNSNews.com) - West Virginia Attorney General Patrick Morrisey said Thursday that fentanyl should be listed as a weapon of mass destruction because of its potency.

“I don't think that the media wants to acknowledge what’s going on because if you have to point fingers at China, the Mexican drug cartels, then all of a sudden, hey what is Secretary of State Blinken doing? By the way, not nearly enough. What is Mayorkas doing? He should be impeached or fired, and then what’s Merrick Garland doing?” he told Fox Business’ “Mornings with Maria Bartiromo.” 

“They’re not increasing the number of fentanyl prosecutions. This has been an unmitigated disaster. The only agency I think that’s trying to some degree is the DEA, but they need a lot of help. That’s why I’ve called for fentanyl to be listed as a weapon of mass destruction, and that’s just the tip of the iceberg of what we need to do,” Morrisey said.

When asked what he expects when Title 42 ends next week, the attorney general said that he’s “concerned we are going to get another stream of people, flooding across the border, and with it of course comes more human trafficking, more deadly fentanyl, more invasion into the heartland, so we’ve been worried.” 

“I mean this administration is a disaster in terms of how it’s handling the border, so it’s just going to be another seminal event, gonna flood more people, and that means more drugs, more death, and we have to keep educating Americans as to what is going on,” he said.

When asked how many times he has filed lawsuits against the Biden administration for various issues, like climate change, the border, et cetera, Morrisey said, “I know we're up in at least individually and with my colleagues I think in the high 20s, in terms of original actions. Then we’ve joined other briefs. We’ve sued dozens and dozens and dozens of times. 

“Let me tell you, it’s not enough. If I had more lawyers, I would be suing them even more frequently because the reality is, this administration violates the rule of law every day, and it’s nowhere more evident than what’s going on at the border,” the attorney general said.

“Maria, just a few weeks ago I had families of the victims of fentanyl in my office, and they were talking about what was going on what happened to them personally, and the stream of fentanyl flooding from China through the border. This is very real. It is killing West Virginians, and it has to stop,” he said.

Morrisey said that “we pour so much money and time into addressing first responders' needs, because they are the ones on the front line, and the saying is if you touch it, you could die or one pill kills.”

“That is what we're seeing right now. Law enforcement needs to have so many different versions of Narcan available just to avoid having first responders and our brave policemen die. it is a serious problem, and I see this, and my heart goes out to all the families of the victims who have died from this,” the attorney general said.

“As you all know, you touch fentanyl or you have some of it laced, and it could even be through a vaping tool, which we’ve have heard of more and more and then you are going to die in a very short period of time, so I have been getting out to the schools in West Virginia,” Morrisey said.

“We’re trying to educate a lot of people, because a lot of these kids don't realize the potency of it, and we have to educate people. Meanwhile though, half the country doesn't even know about it because other than Fox and few other stations, they’re not covering it. So that’s why I am excited for the House to come in and start doing oversight so that everyone in America knows this crisis,” he said.

 Feds Seize 5,000 Pounds of Meth Setting Record for California Border County

Federal and local law enforcement officials seized a record-setting load of cartel-connected methamphetamine in San Diego County, California. The drugs, loaded 20-foot box truck, weighed in excess of 5,000 pounds and are reported to be the largest seizure in San Diego County.

During the afternoon of July 7, federal officials observed a box truck enter the U.S. through the Otay Mesa Commercial Port of Entry, according to a statement from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of California. Law enforcement agencies surveilled the truck to its destination in National City, California. The agents watched as the alleged drug smugglers unloaded the truck into a Dodge van.

At that point, law enforcement officers moved in and arrested Rafael Alzua, 37; Mario Contreras, 41; Ethgar Velazquez, 44; and Galdrino Contreras, 41, prosecutors stated. Officials listed all four suspects as residents of Tijuana, Mexico.

An inspection of the boxes revealed more than 5,000 pounds of drugs that later tested positive for methamphetamine.

“This is a significant accomplishment by our law enforcement partners,” U.S. Attorney Randy Grossman said in a written statement. “Due to stellar work by law enforcement agents, the government stopped more than 5,000 pounds of methamphetamine from being distributed on our streets.”

The case is being investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration, San Diego County Sheriff’s Department, Border Crime Suppression Team, Homeland Security Investigations, and the United States Border Patrol.

DEA Special Agent in Charge Shelly S. Howe stated, “This monumental seizure represents another win against drug cartels that fuel addiction in the United States. Because of our great partnerships with other law enforcement agencies, we will continue to disrupt the cartels’ flow of drugs into our cities.”

The governor of a Mexican state plagued with cartel violence for years is the nephew of a cartel boss and a cousin to another. Both face drug charges in a U.S court. Breitbart Texas obtained birth certificates confirming the familial relationships between the governor and the crime bosses. The politician has denied such familial connections in the past.

This week, Adalberto Fructoso “Fruto” Comparan Rodriguez, the former mayor of Aguililla, Michoacan, and son Adalberto Fructoso Comparan Bedolla, along with four other cartel members, went before a federal judge in Florida this week. They were notified of the drug charges against them and were ordered to be held without bond.
Breitbart Texas obtained Mexican birth certificates showing the relationships between current Michoacan Governor Alfredo Ramirez Bedolla and the accused through marriage. La Silla Rota had published information about Ramirez’s relatives during his gubernatorial race in 2021, but only now do documents publicly confirm the connections.

 

The wife of Comparan Rodriguez is Anabel Bedolla Marin from Aguililla, Michoacan — a region under the control of Carteles Unidos.

 

Anabel Bedolla is the sister of Maria de Jesus Bedolla Marin, who is the mother of the politician.

 

Ramirez Bedolla, born in Morelia, Michoacan, had previously tried to minimize his relationship by claiming his aunt and uncle were separated for more than 10 years and had no contact with them.

Comparan Rodriguez is accused of being one of the leaders of Carteles Unidos in Michoacan and responsible for large-scale shipments of meth into the U.S. According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Comparan Rodriguez would hide the drugs inside concrete tiles and dilute meth in paint. Authorities in Guatemala arrested Comparan Rodriguez in March 2021 and helped get him extradited to the U.S. in January 2022. Authorities arrested his son, Comparan Bedolla, in March 2021 in Miami while they reportedly tried to remove liquid meth from paint.

Michoacan is one of the most violent states in Mexico due to a violent turf war between Carteles Unidos (a collection of smaller organizations and “self-defense” groups) against Cartel Jalisco New Generation for control of vast drug production areas and smuggling corridors. Mexico’s federal government has been unable to reduce violence in the region.

Biden's Deathly Presidency

For four years under President Trump, America enjoyed peace, security, and unparalleled prosperity.  Trump's presidency was a historic era of good times in which we began to regain faith in the American Dream.  Now we have the nightmare, and the death and destruction that go with it.

Yes, the Trump Era was prosperous, with historically low unemployment rates, low inflation, energy independence, and rising wages.  But aside from that, the most important thing about Trump's presidency was the fact that Americans were secure, as they had not been under Obama and certainly are not under Biden.  Under Trump, America was in so many senses vibrant and "alive" with pride in our country and hope for its future.

Now we have regular mass shootings in which citizens disarmed by the State have no way to defend themselves.  Overseas, we have a war in Ukraine, the threat of a Chinese invasion of Taiwan, and Iran developing nuclear weapons with the encouragement of the Biden administration.  The common thread is death and the fear that goes with it.  And this does not even include Biden's aggressive defense of abortion on demand. 

Under President Trump, I lived without fear.  I knew that Trump supported my right to defend my home and that he supported the police who defended me as well.  Just having the president and his administration on my side made me breathe easier.  America was moving in the right direction, as was confirmed by every opinion poll during Trump's time in office before COVID was unleashed.

Long-term death rates are more a matter of demographics than policy, and they have been rising ever since Obama took office in 2008.  But murder rates, deaths in war and civil unrest, drug overdose deaths, and accidental deaths are attributable to policy, and they have been rising under Biden, even during his short time in office.  Under Biden, the U.S. murder rate, which had been declining under President Trump, is the highest in 25 years.  According to former N.Y. police commissioner Howard Safir, the spike in violence is partly attributable to lack of support for police and soft-on-crime prosecutors.  And it is Biden, with his anti-police rhetoric and refusal to prosecute (as in the case of those picketing Justice Kavanaugh's home), who is responsible for this climate of anarchy.

 

Now I plan my trips carefully, avoid eye contact with strangers, and carry only a driver's license and credit card.  I drive inconspicuously as well, given the explosion of road rage incidents.

The most galling thing is that Biden never says a word about the victims of crime unless he can twist the incident into an anti-gun lecture, and he takes no action to protect anyone, especially law-abiding citizens in middle-class neighborhoods like my own.  In this and so many other ways, he seems on the side of those who wish to destroy us.  It's no accident that murder rates are spiraling at home and war is breaking out overseas.  Both are a response to Biden's weakness, and death is the consequence.

I fear there will be more death ahead.  I expect an invasion in Taiwan, Moldova, or Finland, and new outbreaks of violence in the Middle East involving either Iran or its surrogates.  The incomprehensible Iran deal, which Biden is pushing, would "make Biden 'the biggest funder of terrorism in the world,'" according to Rep. Jim Banks.  "Terrorism" is not just a derogatory word; it is the act of murdering innocent human beings, including women and children.  Hasn't that fact entered into Biden's Iran deal calculations?

Biden's weakness has emboldened our enemies, and their actions pose a threat to our security.  This is the way major wars begin.  They can be prevented only by the projection of force of the kind we saw under President Trump, and Biden projects about as much force as a lady's fan.  His weakness will get us into another war, and our young men and women will die in that war.  There is death hanging over us, and Biden seems oblivious, fumbling with his note cards to find some kind of answer.  

There is a new national mood in America unlike anything I've seen since the 1960s: a sense of foreboding and caution based on the very real threat of violence and collapse.  There are more threats to our country, including the wealth destruction of inflation, to which Biden simply rolls his eyes, chuckles, and whispers some idiotic riposte.  There are more criminal gangs, and Biden just welcomes more in.  There is more road rage, more random shooting, more felons out on no bond/low bond.  And there is a callous and brutal disregard for the lives of the unborn.

 

In response to the mounting violence, Biden seems remote, fuddling with his microphone like a man slipping into dementia, and those around him seem inept, if not callous, including his new press secretary, Karine Jean-Pierre, who is said to have "frequently stumbled" during her first weeks.  A president who is weak and advisers who are incompetent and anti-American to boot — that is a recipe for disaster, and disaster will end, as it always does, in poverty, destruction, and death.

There are bullies in the world who watched as Biden stumbled out of Afghanistan, and bullies don't have much respect for doddering fools who just want to survive a four-year term and leave a mess for someone else to clean up.

As a citizen, it is difficult to watch my country besieged by violence.  Biden's presidency has been deadly in every respect: turning off economic growth and imposing environmental restrictions, proposing inflation-adjusted cuts in national defense while paying off student loans, and putting citizens at risk with his anti-police rhetoric.

There is little chance of a second Biden term, but just another two and a half years is painful to imagine.  How many thousands will lose their lives because of one incompetent and wrong-headed leader?  How far will America go into danger and destruction?  And how much more difficult will it be for our next president, Trump or a Trump lookalike, to repair the damage and Make America Safe Again?

Biden’s Gifts for Illegal Aliens

President Joe Biden is the illegal aliens’ best friend. He is asking Congress to provide a pathway to citizenship for the more than 11 million illegal aliens presently living in the United States. And to make the illegal aliens feel better about themselves, Biden is seeking a change in U.S. immigration laws to replace the phrase “illegal alien” with “noncitizen” to describe them.

Unless the Democrats eliminate the filibuster in the Senate, Biden is not likely to get his complete legislative package passed by Congress. “A mass amnesty with no safeguards and no strings attached is a nonstarter,” said Republican Senator Chuck Grassley.

However, Biden decided not to wait for Congress to act. He signed an executive order halting border wall construction. He also signed another executive order reversing the Trump administration’s “remain in Mexico” program for so-called asylum seekers waiting for U.S. hearings on their asylum pleas. “Remain in Mexico,” worked out with the cooperation of the Mexican government, was implemented as a practical solution to a vexing problem. It was designed as an alternative to either detaining the ostensible asylum-seekers in the United States until their amnesty applications could be heard by U.S. immigration judges or releasing them into communities across the country under the infamous “catch and release” policy of prior administrations. Biden’s executive order brings back the “catch and release” policy, endangering the safety of law-abiding Americans.

Open-borders President Joe Biden is creating through such executive orders and his pro-amnesty legislative agenda a super-strong magnet to pull many more illegal migrants into the United States.

Biden also signed an executive order that violates his presidential obligation under the Constitution to “take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed.” This order put in place a policy to unilaterally suspend removals of most illegal aliens for 100 days. It was a show of defiance against enforcing the immigration laws as written.

An advisory memorandum was issued by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) on January 20^th to guide the immigration agencies in carrying out Biden’s deportation suspension executive order. Couched dishonestly in the language of reprioritizing immigration law enforcement actions, the memorandum said that the immediate 100-day “pause on removals” would help "ensure we have a fair and effective immigration enforcement system focused on protecting national security, border security, and public safety."

Biden’s 100-day “pause on removals” does precisely the opposite. Even illegal aliens who were convicted of serious felonies and were already ordered to be removed from this country following a full and fair hearing would stand to benefit from the removal suspension.

Fortunately, a federal judge in Texas said not so fast, in response to a complaint filed by the state of Texas. U.S. District Judge Drew Tipton had the good sense and fidelity to the law to issue a temporary restraining order on Tuesday, blocking for now the implementation of Biden’s removal suspension edict nationwide for 14 days. Judge Tipton said that the Biden administration had failed “to provide any concrete, reasonable justification for a 100-day pause on deportations.” That’s an understatement.

The Biden DHS memorandum was so far out in left field that it refused to use the words “illegal alien,” which appear more than 30 times in U.S. immigration laws that the DHS is supposed to enforce. As far as the Biden administration is concerned, “illegal alien” is already expunged from the statute books even without any congressional action. Instead, the Biden DHS memorandum used the term “noncitizens.”

The DHS memorandum’s instructions on pausing compulsory removals of illegal aliens (apologies to the enforcers of political correctness for using the legally correct phrase ) did contain a few narrow exceptions. The pause did not apply to suspected terrorists, spies or others deemed by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to pose a danger to the national security of the United States. Also, individuals illegally in the country who were “not physically present in the United States before November 1, 2020” would be out of luck under the DHS memorandum’s implementation guidelines. And there could be some scattered cases where an individualized determination is made that removal is absolutely required by law. But public safety is given short shrift.

Biden’s executive order suspending removals, along with the implementing DHS memorandum,  contained no pause exception addressing generally the class of illegal aliens still in the United States who have been convicted of violent aggravated felonies such as murder or rape. Even many of those dangerous criminals already subject to removal orders issued prior to Biden’s executive deportation suspension would have been entitled to protection from immediate removal.

Judge Tipton has come to the rescue at least for now, temporarily stopping Biden’s deportation suspension from taking immediate effect. Judge Tipton needs to go further and stick a fork in Biden’s reckless deportation suspension executive order for good, which the Supreme Court will hopefully uphold.

 

Sanctuary California should be a cautionary tale, not a goal

From the moment Joe Biden assumed the presidency, immigration has been at the top of his agenda.  One of his first acts was to sign a series of executive orders that reversed the Trump administration's policies on things like border wall funding, travel bans, and sanctuary laws.

While Trump's goal for immigration policy was clearly articulated in his "Make America Great Again" concept, we have heard little on where Biden intends to take us with his immigration plank.  Judging from his actions so far, though, the destination is clear.  He wants to make America into California, and that should deeply concern every U.S. citizen.

What anti-borders politicians have done to California over the last 30 years is a disgrace.  The home of Hollywood and Silicon Valley, once a beacon of opportunity and prosperity, is today a sinking ship.  Immigration policy is a significant factor in that decline.

Taking on a massive population of illegal aliens has come at a colossal cost to Californians, in terms of finances, safety, and job opportunities, to name a few.  State residents foot the bill for more than $23 billion that is directly attributable to illegal immigration and its effects.  That breaks down to almost $2,000 for every legally present household each year.  This from a state that is already carrying more than $1.3 trillion in total state, county, and municipal debt.  Who wouldn't want to pay a hefty tax each year to encourage more illegal aliens to move to your community?

The chief catalyst for California's illegal alien crisis has been its embrace of sanctuary laws.  By preventing local law enforcement from cooperating with federal immigration authorities in the deportation of criminal aliens, there are virtually no consequences for violating our nation's immigration laws inside the state of California.

While the Orwellian-named California Values Act (S.B. 54) made sanctuary policy state law, it seems downright moderate compared to what some cities and counties have done.  S.B. 54 at least allows cooperation with ICE in only the most extreme of circumstances.

The sanctuary law in Santa Clara, the largest county in northern California, takes an even more radical position, stating that the county "does not, under any circumstances, honor civil detainer requests from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) by holding inmates on ICE's behalf for additional time after they would otherwise be released from County custody."

Before sanctuary laws, it had long been a practice of local law enforcement to cooperate with detainer requests as a way to expedite criminal aliens toward deportation.

The results of this policy have been about as bad as you might expect.  In Santa Clara County last November, police arrested Fernando De Jesus Lopez-Garcia after he allegedly stabbed five people inside the Grace Baptist Church, killing two and leaving three others seriously injured.

One witness called 911 to say a "man was going crazy, stabbing people and there was blood everywhere."  He was arrested on two counts of murder, three counts of attempted murder, battery on a spouse, and violation of a protective order.

Lopez-Garcia is an illegal alien with an extensive criminal record who had successfully avoided ICE apprehension after each arrest because of local and state sanctuary laws barring cooperation with federal immigration authorities.

In 2019, police arrested Carlos Eduardo Arevalo Carranza, an illegal alien from El Salvador, for allegedly beating and stabbing Bambi Larson to death in her San Jose home.  Reports later disclosed that police had previously arrested Carranza ten times for drugs, kidnapping, battery against a police officer, and burglary.  ICE had requested an immigration hold on Carranza seven times, but the Santa Clara Sheriff's Office (SCSO) refused every request.  Facing criticism for the sanctuary policy, the county supervisors met and inexplicably voted 5-0 to double down on the policy.

My organization, the Immigration Reform Law Institute (IRLI), recently concluded an investigation into these practices in Santa Clara and found some disturbing results.

We submitted a records request with the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office to discover just how many ICE detainers it has received in recent time and how many of them applied to aliens with serious criminal backgrounds.  That request revealed that ICE lodged a total of 1,757 detainers in just two years — 909 requests in 2019 and 848 in 2020.  The law enforcement records technician with the sheriff's office confirmed with IRLI that every single one of these requests was ignored.

The Sheriff's Office refused to disclose to IRLI how many of the detainer requests applied to aliens who were convicted or charged with serious or violent felony offenses.  When IRLI asked about the last year an ICE detainer request was honored by the county, a records technician there replied that he could not find records that showed the last time a detainer request was honored.

The results of these laws are clear.  The county has become a haven for illegal aliens, particularly those with criminal records.  The communities are demonstrably less safe, and the influx of new arrivals creates a heavy financial burden on legal state residents.  Is it any wonder that taxpayers are fleeing the state in droves?

As the Biden administration goes full speed with its anti-borders agenda, however, there will be no place for concerned Americans to flee.  California-style laws will soon become federal laws.  We're about to conduct a national experiment in anti-borders cause and effect.  Buckle up.

Census: Americans Flee Blue States as Red States Boom in Population Growth

Blue states saw the largest population declines in 2022, while red states topped the list with the most population growth, United States Census Bureau figures reveal.

This year, California saw more than 343,000 residents leave the state — more than any other in the nation — followed by nearly 300,000 residents who left New York, and almost 142,000 residents who fled Illinois.

At the same time, more Americans resettled in Florida, more than 318,000, than any other state this year. Texas saw the second-largest net domestic migration with nearly 231,000 Americans moving to the state, followed by North Carolina, where almost 100,000 Americans moved.

The growth of Texas, for instance, now makes it one of only two states that has a more than 30 million residents. The other state to have that many is California. In just the last 22 years, Texas has added more than 10 million residents.

By region, the South was the fastest growing this year — adding about 1.3 million residents, nearly 868,000 of which were Americans who moved to the South and the other 415,000 who were newly arrived immigrants.

The West, likewise, grew in population, adding fewer than 154,000 residents. Meanwhile, the Northeast and Midwest both saw population declines this year, attributed to Americans moving out of both regions for other destinations in the South and West.

The Northeast, alone, lost nearly 219,000 residents this year, while the Midwest saw almost 49,000 Americans leave the region.

In total, the U.S. population climbed to a record 333 million residents this year. More than 80 percent of the rapid population growth is driven by the nation’s legal immigration policy that brings more than a million foreign nationals to the U.S. annually and gives them green cards.

Without immigration, the U.S. population would have stabilized at a comfortable 245,000 new residents last year as the result of new births versus deaths.

Scalise: ‘No New Funding for Our Border Patrol Agents’ in Omnibus, But They Give Money to Foreign Countries to Secure Their Border

(CNSNews.com) - Rep. Steve Scalise (R-La.) said Friday that the $1.7 trillion omnibus bill does not include new funding for Border Patrol agents, “but they actually give money to foreign countries to secure their border in other parts of the world.”

“Look, this is something President Biden created. We’ve been talking about this for over a year. It's gotten worse and worse and not gotten better. The administration completely ignores it, misleading the public, saying the border is secure. Everybody knows it's not, and it's communities all across the border getting ravaged, but now it’s communities all across America,” he told “Fox & Friends.”

“You’ve covered the fentanyl deaths, which is another side of the open border story where you have got over 100,000 young people die last year, and President Biden doesn't care about that because he knows the solution is closing the border and he doesn't want to,” the congressman said.

“This is going to be a huge fight in the new Republican Congress, but this is something that could be and should be addressed in the government funding bill, and it's not, in fact this omnibus that's coming up today, actually makes it harder to secure our border. No new funding for our Border Patrol agents, but they actually give money to foreign countries to secure their border in other parts of the world. This is insanity,” Scalise said.

When asked to predict how the House vote for the omnibus bill will play out, the congressman said, “We have whipped against it. We are reducing that number, but, you know, if you look at the last CR, just a few weeks ago a similar kind of number, but again, this bill is not addressing the real problems of the country. It's making them worse.

“They are increasing spending in parts of the budget that need to be decreasing. We have seen massive trillions of dollars of increased spending in Washington that have driven inflation. The inflation is what is crushing hard-working families right now during Christmas. That's what we should be trying to turn around, not make worse with increased spending which this bill does,” he said.

When asked what he says to his Republican colleagues in the Senate, Scalise said, “There is a lot of talk about, well, you know, this is the best deal they could get. What I say is help is on the way, and in literally two weeks, there will be a Republican House and the debate is going to be a lot different. 

“The starting point for bills will be so much different in terms of what we’ll be sending over. We’re actually going to pass a border security package. We’re gonna pass an energy security package. We’re going to be passing bills to confront the problems the country is facing instead of what you have seen from Speaker Pelosi and the far left, which is making matters worse,” he said.

“So, this isn't the time to be cutting long-term deals. Hold on for a few more weeks and help is on the way. Unfortunately, that's not been received and that's been a big frustration,” the congressman said.

Scalise said that there’s been “a lot of talk about additional scrutiny on money that's being spent everywhere, not just in Ukraine, but in every government agency.” 

“I mean, there’s trillions of dollars that have gone out the door. A lot of this money that's gone out over COVID relief, for example, tens of billions of dollars, we already know that's fraudulent. Payments going to people that are here illegally,” he said.

“Payments going to people in other countries. We're going to be investigating that. Why don't we actually be stewards for the taxpayer money instead of every time that somebody sees a problem just dole trillions of dollars of money out that’s borrowed,” the congressman said.

When asked whether he’s been approached about being the next speaker if House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) can’t get enough votes, Scalise said, “No, look. I support Kevin, and I think there’s still a lot of conversations that are going on, and Kevin is working to get there. He is going to get there, and that’s just been an ongoing conversation this week.  

“We have had a number of additional meetings with leadership and rank and file members going through rules changes. You know, what you hear the most is people are so frustrated with the way the House has been run, and we are going to be changing that,” he said.

“There are a lot of changes coming, and, you know, this is -- today is the big frustration, because it really takes some of that leverage away from us when we get into the new majority, but you know, we are going to continue moving forward. We’ve got work to do, and it's going to be a busy next year. I think you are going to be excited to see the policy we pass,” the congressman said.

“We’ve got to first elect a speaker and then get to work, and so Kevin’s meeting with all of those members that you mentioned. We’re meeting with a lot of them as a leadership team to go through rules changes, and then Kevin’s meeting with them individually as well, so there’s still time to go and that work continues on,” he said.

409K Migrants Apprehended in First Two Months of FY23, 140K More Got Away

Border Patrol agents apprehended more than 409,000 migrants during the first two months of the new fiscal year. In addition, Border Patrol officials told Breitbart Texas that nearly 140,000 migrants were classified as got-aways.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials reported that 206,239 migrants were apprehended in November. This represents an increase over the nearly 205,000 migrants apprehended in October, the first month of Fiscal Year 2023, according to the Southwest Land Border Migration Report released on the Friday before Christmas. The report confirms numbers published by Breitbart Texas on December 1.

In addition to the nearly 410,000 migrants apprehended during the first two months of the new fiscal year, Border Patrol officials say another nearly 140,000 migrants are classified as “got-aways.” This means more than a half-million migrants crossed the southwest border during the first two months of the year.

In contrast, Border Patrol agents apprehended only 400,000 migrants during the entire Fiscal Year 2020, President Donald Trump’s last full year in office. That number jumped to 1.6 million the following year as President Joe Biden took office — 2.2 million the year after that.

The apprehension of more than 206,000 migrants represents an increase of about 1,400 immigrants from the October apprehensions — the third straight month of increasing apprehensions. It represents an increase of 23 percent over last November’s record-setting report. It also represents an increase of nearly 200 percent over November 2020, the month of Biden’s election as president.

“This month’s operational update reflects CBP’s dedicated workforce diligently enforcing our laws concerning immigration while seizing fentanyl and other contraband, ensuring America’s economic security and facilitating travel and trade,” CBP Acting Commissioner Troy Miller said in a statement announcing the report.

Rather than focusing on policies by the administration that created the current migrant crisis, Miller blamed “the large number of individuals fleeing failing communist regimes in Nicaragua and Cuba.” However, only 68,000 of the 206,000 apprehensions came from these nations, Miller’s statement revealed.

After the Biden administration began applying Title 42 once again to Venezuelan migrants, the number of apprehensions fell from a high in September of 33,804 to 7,931 in November.

Nearly 71 percent of the migrants apprehended this year were single adults. Family units accounted for more than 23 percent of the apprehensions and unaccompanied minors accounted for six percent.

Our President, The Pathological Liar

A shameful characteristic throughout his whole 52-year political career.

The sad reality is that the President of the United States, Joe Biden, is a pathological liar. This is not a new personality trait for our Commander-in-Chief, but a characteristic that has been apparent throughout his 52-year political career.

Biden has been telling lies, including massive untruths, for decades. It is a major reason he had to exit the 1988 presidential campaign. He lied about his law school grades and plagiarized speeches from United Kingdom Labor Party leader Neil Kinnock.

Regularly, Biden lies about his childhood, his family, his academic career, and his record as a politician.

Does anyone really believe that, as a young lifeguard, he faced off with a “bad dude” named “Corn Pop” who had a “bunch of bad boys” armed with “straight razors?” Biden claimed he used a six-foot chain to force the gang to leave.

Biden pretends he was a tough guy and has boasted that in high school, he would have taken Donald Trump “behind the gym and beat the hell out of him.”

He likes to embellish his career as a college football player and lied about being on the University of Delaware team that beat the Ohio Bearcats. He said he quit the team to date the woman who would become his first wife, but, instead, he was forced to leave due to bad grades.

This week, Biden told a series of lies that are impossible to reconcile. At a town hall meeting with U.S. veterans in Delaware, Biden told a story of awarding a Purple Heart to his uncle, Frank Biden. He said that his uncle had served heroically in the Battle of the Bulge in World War II, and had earned the Purple Heart, but never received it.

He declared he “got” his uncle the Purple Heart after he was elected Vice President in 2008. Biden said he awarded it to his uncle in front of family members. According to Biden, his uncle did not want the award because “the others died, I lived, I don’t want it.”

Of course, as usual, Biden’s story is untrue. His uncle, Frank Biden, died in 1999, nine years before he was elected Vice President.  In addition, as noted by the New York Post, “Frank Biden’s tombstone does not identify him as a Purple Heart honoree, nor does his obituary. A partial registry of known Purple Heart recipients also doesn’t note anyone by that name receiving the award.”

In the same speech, Biden insulted the people of Ireland and the country’s descendants living in America by stating “I may be Irish, but I’m not stupid.” So, he thinks the Irish are “stupid?” Isn’t that an example of hate speech?

Thereafter, he tried to show his connections to Italians by asserting “I married Dominic Giacoppa’s daughter. So, you know, I got a little Italian in me now, you know.” Yet, his wife’s father was Donald Jacobs from New Jersey. It was her great-grandfather, Domenic Giacoppo, who immigrated to America from Italy.

In the same speech, Biden lied about the number of times he had visited Iraq and Afghanistan. He said he had been to those combat areas “38, 39 times.” Sadly, this is another lie he has told in the past. His campaign had to admit that he had visited those areas only 21 times.

Biden also lied when he said that he had visited Iraq and Afghanistan “twice as President.” As reported by The Daily Mail, he last visited Iraq in 2016 and Afghanistan in 2011, well before he assumed the presidency in 2021.

The President has often lied about the tragic death of his son, Beau Biden. He died of brain cancer in the United States, but President Biden said he died in “Iraq.”

Biden likes to identify with his audience and will create falsehoods to establish a connection. For example, during a trip to Puerto Rico, he said he was raised in Delaware as a member of the “Puerto Rican community.” Of course, the Puerto Rican community in Delaware during Biden’s upbringing was infinitesimal.

Biden has lied about being “appointed” to the Naval Academy and working as a truck driver. He also created a false history as a demonstrator against injustice. He fabricated an arrest in this country as a civil rights protester and in South Africa as an activist for Nelson Mandela.

In September, Biden told Jewish leaders that he visited the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh after a 2018 antisemitic terrorist attack that killed 11 people. However, he never visited the synagogue and only made a 2019 phone call to the rabbi.

While addressing hurricane victims in Florida, Biden lied about the impact of a lightning strike on his home in Delaware 15 years ago. According to Biden, because of the strike “everything was ruined” and “we almost lost a couple firefighters.”

At the time of the event, the Associated Press reported that impact was minimal, “no one was injured,” and the strike only caused a “small fire that was contained to the kitchen.” The news report indicated that the fire was controlled within 20 minutes.

In the view of conservative commentator Deroy Murdoch, Biden is either a “pathological liar” or “even worse, maybe he really believes that these non-events actually took place. If so, then he is living a life of total fantasy.”

Unfortunately, Biden’s lies are becoming more frequent and more alarming. The United States has a President that cannot differentiate between fiction and reality.

It is a crisis considering the power of the presidency and the array of problems facing our nation, including an invasion at our southern border, a weak economy and an ongoing war in Ukraine that is causing some military experts to worry about the prospect of nuclear war.

It is too dangerous for the United States to be saddled with such a president. If he does not resign, Republicans must begin impeachment proceedings when they take control of the U.S. House of Representatives in January.

Biden is, and has always been, a pathological liar of the worst kind, the kind who lies to boost his own ego no matter how easy it is to prove his dishonesty. MONICA SHOWALTER

We Knew Joe Biden Was a Big Liar

But this is ridiculous.

Politicians frequently lie, but Old Joe Biden’s career record is clear: He makes Josef Goebbels look honest. Biden is such a massive liar that it’s unclear whether or not he has ever told the truth in an entire lifetime of grift and corruption. On Friday afternoon, however, Biden outdid himself, appearing at the Delaware Veteran’s Summit and telling so many outrageous lies about his career and his family that if he were a conservative, establishment media “fact checkers” would have died of exhaustion. It’s lucky for them that whenever Old Joe speaks, they take the day off.

Biden claimed that when he was elected vice president in 2008, his father contacted him and asked him to finagle a Purple Heart for his brother, Biden’s uncle Frank. Biden said, “You know, I — my dad, when I got elected Vice President, he said, ‘Joey, Uncle Frank fought in the Battle of the Bulge.’ He was not feeling very well now — not because of the Battle of the Bulge. But he said, ‘And he won the Purple Heart. And he never received it. He never — he never got it. Do you think you could help him get it? We’ll surprise him.’”

The incoming vice president was, of course, happy to get his uncle the recognition he deserved, however belatedly: “So we got him the Purple Heart. He had won it in the Battle of the Bulge. And I remember he came over to the house, and I came out, and he said, ‘Present it to him, okay?’ We had the family there.” Get your handkerchief ready. Biden continued, “I said, ‘Uncle Frank, you won this. And I want to…’ He said, ‘I don’t want the damn thing.’” The crowd laughed, and Biden plowed on: “No, I’m serious. He said, ‘I don’t want it.’ I said, ‘What’s the matter, Uncle Frank? You earned it.’ He said, ‘Yeah, but the others died. The others died. I lived. I don’t want it.’” Biden then attempted to bring his story into the present and initially missed by fifty years: “Just like a generation — this generation in Vietnam — excuse me, in — in Iraq.”

Anyway, what a noble soul was Uncle Frank Biden, eh? There’s just one problem: Frank Biden died in 1999, and Biden’s father, Joe Biden Sr., died in 2002. Yet the putative president claims that this incident took place in 2008, and it hinges upon Vice President Joe, as the national second banana, being able to pull strings to get his uncle the Purple Heart. Maybe this happened years earlier than Biden said it did, and he was pulling strings as a senator rather than as vice president, or maybe it never happened at all.

The latter seems more likely. According to the New York Post, a registry of recipients of the Purple Heart doesn’t include the name Frank Biden, and when Frank died, his obituary contained no mention of his having won this honor. Also, the story is suspiciously similar to one Biden was fond of telling in 2019. He was in Afghanistan as vice president, Biden claimed, to honor a Navy captain who had “rappelled down a 60-foot ravine under fire and retrieved the body of an American comrade, carrying him on his back.” Biden said that when he tried to pin a Silver Star on the captain, “he said, ‘Sir, I don’t want the damn thing! Do not pin it on me, Sir! Please, Sir. Do not do that! He died. He died.” Biden concluded, “This is the God’s truth. My word as a Biden.”

But it wasn’t, of course. Even the Washington Post, ordinarily a tenacious purveyor of Leftist propaganda, stated, “Except almost every detail in the story appears to be incorrect. Based on interviews with more than a dozen U.S. troops, their commanders and Biden campaign officials, it appears as though the former vice president has jumbled elements of at least three actual events into one story of bravery, compassion and regret that never happened.”

The Frank Biden story wasn’t Old Joe’s only lie on Friday. He also claimed, “And, you know, I think that there’s a — I’ve been in and out — not as a, obviously, combatant — but in and out of Afghanistan and Iraq and these areas 38, 39 times as — not as President, only twice as President, but from the time I was a senator, but particularly when I was Vice President.” This was a slight rollback of his claim during his State of the Union address: “I’ve been in and out of Iraq and Afghanistan over 40 times.” In 2019, he said, I’ve been in and out of Afghanistan and Iraq over 30 times.” According to the Washington Post, “his campaign later clarified that the correct number is 21.” Also, he has never visited Afghanistan or Iraq as president.

Joe Biden has made it abundantly clear that he is unprincipled, untrustworthy, and unscrupulous. His faux presidency will be remembered as one of the darkest periods of American history. We can only hope that the damage he leaves behind him will not be completely irreversible.

On Friday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “Fox & Friends,” Yuma Regional Medical Center President and CEO Dr. Robert Trenschel stated that the hospital’s business model is “unsustainable” due to the uncompensated costs of medical care for migrants and stated that it’s extremely difficult for them to get compensated for this care because with many migrants, “we don’t know where they’re going to end up. We don’t know where they go. We don’t know if the name’s correct.”

Trenschel stated, “There is no payer source for those individuals. We’ve contacted our state government…we’ve contacted the federal government. And there is — everybody’s sympathetic and they lend a listening ear. But nobody is offering a payer source for these individuals. It’s an unsustainable business model to have your expenses increased by an external entity, consistently and increasingly, without any concomitant revenue source. So, this is an unsustainable business model.”

He added, “This year is not looking very good from a financial perspective and really, that’s — a lot of that is due to these uncompensated costs that we have.”

Trenschel further said that it’s harder to collect medical bills from migrants because, “A lot of the migrants, we don’t know where they’re going to end up. We don’t know where they go. We don’t know if the name’s correct. We just don’t know any of these things.”

Authorities in Tijuana continue looking into a gruesome crime scene where cartel gunmen left six dead bodies stashed in a van. Information provided to Breitbart Texas by law enforcement sources revealed that authorities were among the victims.

The murders took place this week at a shopping center in Tijuana shortly after noon. Authorities initially responded to a call about a suspicious white van. Inside, they found the bodies of five men and a woman who had been reported missing over the past weekend.

 A statement from the Baja California government revealed that the van had been reported stolen months prior to the discovery.

Law enforcement sources revealed to Breitbart Texas that days before to the discovery, gunmen stormed a gentleman’s club called Villa de Marisol and killed a bar employee before kidnapping four customers and two employees. One of the employees was the female victim in the van.

Law enforcement sources revealed to Breitbart Texas that the four customers were employed by Mexico’s Attorney General’s Office.

The killings come at a time when Tijuana has seen a rise in violence as rival factions of the Sinaloa Cartel seek turf while fighting off incursions from Cartel Jalisco New Generation.

San Bernardino County Residents Vote to Study Secession from Far-Left California

San Bernardino County residents voted for officials to study the possibility of seceding from California as more grow increasingly tired of the state’s far-left policies.

The county approved the advisory ballot proposal, which was voted upon in November, earlier this week, the Associated Press (AP) reported. San Bernardino’s Board of Supervisors’ next step is likely to form a committee that will study if state and federal public funds were fairly distributed with local governments within the county.

Curt Hagman, the chairman of the Board of Supervisors, says there is “a lot of frustration” that San Bernardino residents have toward the left-wing governing policies of Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) and the Democrat-controlled state legislature.

Residents in the county, and across the state, pay the highest taxes in the nation while also living under soaring rates of crime, homelessness, and high housing costs.

Many are also irate over the state’s COVID-19 policies, which saw public school students forced into remote learning early in the pandemic, while the state waw one of the last to discontinue the policy. Remote learning caused considerable academic setbacks for K to 12 students within the state, including negatively impacting younger students’ learning skills, Breitbart News reported.

As a result, droves of California residents and businesses have moved to states such as Arizona, Texas, Florida, and Nevada to escape the high taxes and the volatile political climate. From 2020 to 2022, California lost over 352,000 residents, according to the state’s Department of Finance statistics.

While registered Democrat voters outnumber Republican voters by 12 points, Newsom lost San Bernardino County by five points in the November gubernatorial election. Still, the incumbent governor easily went on to win reelection.

The county is the largest by area in California and the contiguous United States, stretching from the urban regions of the City of San Bernardino to the rural areas bordering Arizona and Nevada. Moreover, it is the fifth most populace county in the Golden State, with more than two million residents.

Attempts to secede and become the 51st state in the union are unlikely, as the proposal would require approval from the Democrat state legislature and Congress.

Although Hagman noted that he does not want to secede from California, he says he understands the voters may feel alienated from Sacramento’s policies, telling the AP, “It’s been a rough few years.”

Similar calls for secession from the coastal liberal enclaves of California have been made for years. In 2017, activists filed a lawsuit to create the “State of Jefferson” from 21 counties in the northern part of the state. However, every secession attempt from the state has been unsuccessful.

DEA Counts 379,000,000 Deadly Doses of Fentanyl Seized in 2022

(CNSNews.com) - Here's a stunning year-ender: The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration on Tuesday announced the seizure of more than 50.6 million fentanyl-laced, fake prescription pills and more than 10,000 pounds of fentanyl powder this calendar year.

The DEA Laboratory estimates that those seizures represent more than 379,000,000 potentially deadly doses of fentanyl -- enough to kill everyone in this country, plus another 46,000,000 people.

As of December 19, 2022 the Census Bureau estimated the U.S. population to be 333,339,357.

"Fentanyl is the deadliest drug threat facing this country," the DEA said in a news release. "It is a highly addictive man-made opioid that is 50 times more potent than heroin. Just two milligrams of fentanyl, the small amount that fits on the tip of a pencil, is considered a potentially deadly dose."

DEA said its top operational priority is to "defeat" the two Mexican drug cartels -- Sinaloa and Jalisco (CJNG) -- that are primarily responsible for the fentanyl that is killing Americans today.

Anne Milgram, the agency's administrator, said most of the fentanyl trafficked by the Sinaloa and CJNG cartels is being mass-produced at secret factories in Mexico with chemicals sourced largely from China.

In 2021, the DEA issued a Public Safety Alert on the widespread drug trafficking of fentanyl in the form of fentanyl-laced, fake prescription pills, which are often deadly. DEA says the only safe pills are those prescribed by a doctor and dispensed by a licensed pharmacist.

In 2022, DEA says it seized more than double the amount of fentanyl-laced, fake prescription pills than it seized in 2021, so the problem is getting much worse.

According to the CDC, 107,375 people in the United States died of drug overdoses and drug poisonings in the 12-month period ending in January 2022. Sixty-seven percent of those deaths involved synthetic opioids like fentanyl.

Fentanyl isn't the only cross-border threat: DEA says in 2022, it also seized nearly 131,000 pounds of methamphetamine; more than 4,300 pounds of heroin; and over 444,000 pounds of cocaine.

In addition, human trafficking is surging as people from many poor countries flood across the southwest border, enriching the same cartels that are killing so many Americans with fentanyl.

(CNSNews.com) - West Virginia Attorney General Patrick Morrisey said Thursday that fentanyl should be listed as a weapon of mass destruction because of its potency.

“I don't think that the media wants to acknowledge what’s going on because if you have to point fingers at China, the Mexican drug cartels, then all of a sudden, hey what is Secretary of State Blinken doing? By the way, not nearly enough. What is Mayorkas doing? He should be impeached or fired, and then what’s Merrick Garland doing?” he told Fox Business’ “Mornings with Maria Bartiromo.” 

“They’re not increasing the number of fentanyl prosecutions. This has been an unmitigated disaster. The only agency I think that’s trying to some degree is the DEA, but they need a lot of help. That’s why I’ve called for fentanyl to be listed as a weapon of mass destruction, and that’s just the tip of the iceberg of what we need to do,” Morrisey said.

When asked what he expects when Title 42 ends next week, the attorney general said that he’s “concerned we are going to get another stream of people, flooding across the border, and with it of course comes more human trafficking, more deadly fentanyl, more invasion into the heartland, so we’ve been worried.” 

“I mean this administration is a disaster in terms of how it’s handling the border, so it’s just going to be another seminal event, gonna flood more people, and that means more drugs, more death, and we have to keep educating Americans as to what is going on,” he said.

When asked how many times he has filed lawsuits against the Biden administration for various issues, like climate change, the border, et cetera, Morrisey said, “I know we're up in at least individually and with my colleagues I think in the high 20s, in terms of original actions. Then we’ve joined other briefs. We’ve sued dozens and dozens and dozens of times. 

“Let me tell you, it’s not enough. If I had more lawyers, I would be suing them even more frequently because the reality is, this administration violates the rule of law every day, and it’s nowhere more evident than what’s going on at the border,” the attorney general said.

“Maria, just a few weeks ago I had families of the victims of fentanyl in my office, and they were talking about what was going on what happened to them personally, and the stream of fentanyl flooding from China through the border. This is very real. It is killing West Virginians, and it has to stop,” he said.

Morrisey said that “we pour so much money and time into addressing first responders' needs, because they are the ones on the front line, and the saying is if you touch it, you could die or one pill kills.”

“That is what we're seeing right now. Law enforcement needs to have so many different versions of Narcan available just to avoid having first responders and our brave policemen die. it is a serious problem, and I see this, and my heart goes out to all the families of the victims who have died from this,” the attorney general said.

“As you all know, you touch fentanyl or you have some of it laced, and it could even be through a vaping tool, which we’ve have heard of more and more and then you are going to die in a very short period of time, so I have been getting out to the schools in West Virginia,” Morrisey said.

“We’re trying to educate a lot of people, because a lot of these kids don't realize the potency of it, and we have to educate people. Meanwhile though, half the country doesn't even know about it because other than Fox and few other stations, they’re not covering it. So that’s why I am excited for the House to come in and start doing oversight so that everyone in America knows this crisis,” he said.

 Feds Seize 5,000 Pounds of Meth Setting Record for California Border County

Federal and local law enforcement officials seized a record-setting load of cartel-connected methamphetamine in San Diego County, California. The drugs, loaded 20-foot box truck, weighed in excess of 5,000 pounds and are reported to be the largest seizure in San Diego County.

During the afternoon of July 7, federal officials observed a box truck enter the U.S. through the Otay Mesa Commercial Port of Entry, according to a statement from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of California. Law enforcement agencies surveilled the truck to its destination in National City, California. The agents watched as the alleged drug smugglers unloaded the truck into a Dodge van.

At that point, law enforcement officers moved in and arrested Rafael Alzua, 37; Mario Contreras, 41; Ethgar Velazquez, 44; and Galdrino Contreras, 41, prosecutors stated. Officials listed all four suspects as residents of Tijuana, Mexico.

An inspection of the boxes revealed more than 5,000 pounds of drugs that later tested positive for methamphetamine.

“This is a significant accomplishment by our law enforcement partners,” U.S. Attorney Randy Grossman said in a written statement. “Due to stellar work by law enforcement agents, the government stopped more than 5,000 pounds of methamphetamine from being distributed on our streets.”

The case is being investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration, San Diego County Sheriff’s Department, Border Crime Suppression Team, Homeland Security Investigations, and the United States Border Patrol.

DEA Special Agent in Charge Shelly S. Howe stated, “This monumental seizure represents another win against drug cartels that fuel addiction in the United States. Because of our great partnerships with other law enforcement agencies, we will continue to disrupt the cartels’ flow of drugs into our cities.”

San Diego County Sheriff Anthony C. Ray added, “I am grateful for the hard work, vigilance, and steadfast dedication of our Sheriff’s Detectives, as well as our local, state, and federal partners. Our partnership and collaboration allow us to share information that is absolutely critical in keeping drugs from entering our streets and holding drug traffickers accountable.”

The four men from Mexico now face charges of Conspiracy to Distribute Methamphetamine. If convicted, each could face a prison term of ten years to life and a fine of up to $10 million.

Court records were not yet available in the document tracking system.

The governor of a Mexican state plagued with cartel violence for years is the nephew of a cartel boss and a cousin to another. Both face drug charges in a U.S court. Breitbart Texas obtained birth certificates confirming the familial relationships between the governor and the crime bosses. The politician has denied such familial connections in the past.

This week, Adalberto Fructoso “Fruto” Comparan Rodriguez, the former mayor of Aguililla, Michoacan, and son Adalberto Fructoso Comparan Bedolla, along with four other cartel members, went before a federal judge in Florida this week. They were notified of the drug charges against them and were ordered to be held without bond.
Breitbart Texas obtained Mexican birth certificates showing the relationships between current Michoacan Governor Alfredo Ramirez Bedolla and the accused through marriage. La Silla Rota had published information about Ramirez’s relatives during his gubernatorial race in 2021, but only now do documents publicly confirm the connections.

 

The wife of Comparan Rodriguez is Anabel Bedolla Marin from Aguililla, Michoacan — a region under the control of Carteles Unidos.

 

Anabel Bedolla is the sister of Maria de Jesus Bedolla Marin, who is the mother of the politician.

 

Ramirez Bedolla, born in Morelia, Michoacan, had previously tried to minimize his relationship by claiming his aunt and uncle were separated for more than 10 years and had no contact with them.

Comparan Rodriguez is accused of being one of the leaders of Carteles Unidos in Michoacan and responsible for large-scale shipments of meth into the U.S. According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Comparan Rodriguez would hide the drugs inside concrete tiles and dilute meth in paint. Authorities in Guatemala arrested Comparan Rodriguez in March 2021 and helped get him extradited to the U.S. in January 2022. Authorities arrested his son, Comparan Bedolla, in March 2021 in Miami while they reportedly tried to remove liquid meth from paint.

Michoacan is one of the most violent states in Mexico due to a violent turf war between Carteles Unidos (a collection of smaller organizations and “self-defense” groups) against Cartel Jalisco New Generation for control of vast drug production areas and smuggling corridors. Mexico’s federal government has been unable to reduce violence in the region.

Biden's Deathly Presidency

For four years under President Trump, America enjoyed peace, security, and unparalleled prosperity.  Trump's presidency was a historic era of good times in which we began to regain faith in the American Dream.  Now we have the nightmare, and the death and destruction that go with it.

Yes, the Trump Era was prosperous, with historically low unemployment rates, low inflation, energy independence, and rising wages.  But aside from that, the most important thing about Trump's presidency was the fact that Americans were secure, as they had not been under Obama and certainly are not under Biden.  Under Trump, America was in so many senses vibrant and "alive" with pride in our country and hope for its future.

Now we have regular mass shootings in which citizens disarmed by the State have no way to defend themselves.  Overseas, we have a war in Ukraine, the threat of a Chinese invasion of Taiwan, and Iran developing nuclear weapons with the encouragement of the Biden administration.  The common thread is death and the fear that goes with it.  And this does not even include Biden's aggressive defense of abortion on demand. 

Under President Trump, I lived without fear.  I knew that Trump supported my right to defend my home and that he supported the police who defended me as well.  Just having the president and his administration on my side made me breathe easier.  America was moving in the right direction, as was confirmed by every opinion poll during Trump's time in office before COVID was unleashed.

Long-term death rates are more a matter of demographics than policy, and they have been rising ever since Obama took office in 2008.  But murder rates, deaths in war and civil unrest, drug overdose deaths, and accidental deaths are attributable to policy, and they have been rising under Biden, even during his short time in office.  Under Biden, the U.S. murder rate, which had been declining under President Trump, is the highest in 25 years.  According to former N.Y. police commissioner Howard Safir, the spike in violence is partly attributable to lack of support for police and soft-on-crime prosecutors.  And it is Biden, with his anti-police rhetoric and refusal to prosecute (as in the case of those picketing Justice Kavanaugh's home), who is responsible for this climate of anarchy.

 

Now I plan my trips carefully, avoid eye contact with strangers, and carry only a driver's license and credit card.  I drive inconspicuously as well, given the explosion of road rage incidents.

The most galling thing is that Biden never says a word about the victims of crime unless he can twist the incident into an anti-gun lecture, and he takes no action to protect anyone, especially law-abiding citizens in middle-class neighborhoods like my own.  In this and so many other ways, he seems on the side of those who wish to destroy us.  It's no accident that murder rates are spiraling at home and war is breaking out overseas.  Both are a response to Biden's weakness, and death is the consequence.

I fear there will be more death ahead.  I expect an invasion in Taiwan, Moldova, or Finland, and new outbreaks of violence in the Middle East involving either Iran or its surrogates.  The incomprehensible Iran deal, which Biden is pushing, would "make Biden 'the biggest funder of terrorism in the world,'" according to Rep. Jim Banks.  "Terrorism" is not just a derogatory word; it is the act of murdering innocent human beings, including women and children.  Hasn't that fact entered into Biden's Iran deal calculations?

Biden's weakness has emboldened our enemies, and their actions pose a threat to our security.  This is the way major wars begin.  They can be prevented only by the projection of force of the kind we saw under President Trump, and Biden projects about as much force as a lady's fan.  His weakness will get us into another war, and our young men and women will die in that war.  There is death hanging over us, and Biden seems oblivious, fumbling with his note cards to find some kind of answer.  

There is a new national mood in America unlike anything I've seen since the 1960s: a sense of foreboding and caution based on the very real threat of violence and collapse.  There are more threats to our country, including the wealth destruction of inflation, to which Biden simply rolls his eyes, chuckles, and whispers some idiotic riposte.  There are more criminal gangs, and Biden just welcomes more in.  There is more road rage, more random shooting, more felons out on no bond/low bond.  And there is a callous and brutal disregard for the lives of the unborn.

 

In response to the mounting violence, Biden seems remote, fuddling with his microphone like a man slipping into dementia, and those around him seem inept, if not callous, including his new press secretary, Karine Jean-Pierre, who is said to have "frequently stumbled" during her first weeks.  A president who is weak and advisers who are incompetent and anti-American to boot — that is a recipe for disaster, and disaster will end, as it always does, in poverty, destruction, and death.

There are bullies in the world who watched as Biden stumbled out of Afghanistan, and bullies don't have much respect for doddering fools who just want to survive a four-year term and leave a mess for someone else to clean up.

As a citizen, it is difficult to watch my country besieged by violence.  Biden's presidency has been deadly in every respect: turning off economic growth and imposing environmental restrictions, proposing inflation-adjusted cuts in national defense while paying off student loans, and putting citizens at risk with his anti-police rhetoric.

There is little chance of a second Biden term, but just another two and a half years is painful to imagine.  How many thousands will lose their lives because of one incompetent and wrong-headed leader?  How far will America go into danger and destruction?  And how much more difficult will it be for our next president, Trump or a Trump lookalike, to repair the damage and Make America Safe Again?
