WILL THE MUSLIMS DESTROY EUROPE? - Are Muslims ‘Invading’ the UK? No, but what’s happening is much worse.

Quran (9:29) - "Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book [Jews and Christians], until they pay the Jizya [the tax for being a Jew or Christian] with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued."

Are Muslims ‘Invading’ the UK?

No, but what’s happening is much worse.

The secretary of the United Kingdom’s Home Office, which regulates immigration, recently caused a scandal by referring to the nonstop immigration of mostly Muslim migrants as an “invasion.”  On Oct. 30, 2022, Suella Braverman said:

The British people deserve to know which party is serious about stopping the invasion on our southern coast and which party is not…  Some 40,000 people have arrived on the south coast this year alone, many of them facilitated by criminal gangs, some of them actual members of criminal gangs. So let’s stop pretending that they are all refugees in distress: the whole country knows that that is not true….  I’m utterly serious about ending the scourge of illegal migration and I am determined to do whatever it takes to break the criminal gangs and fix our hopelessly lax asylum system…

Needless to say, such frank assertions “sparked an instant backlash from all sectors of the globalist establishment in Britain, from the legacy media to politicians in both the Labour Party and the Conservatives.”

Meanwhile, and seemingly confirming Braverman’s concerns, outrageous numbers of migrants, the overwhelming majority arriving from the Muslim world, have indeed flooded the UK.  According to one report, in just the first half of 2021, “an astonishing 1.1 million visas [were] granted for people to come and live in the UK…  It is the highest number of visas for people to come and live here ever issued in one year, suggesting that, despite repeated promises to control and reduce immigration, the government are delivering the opposite.”

Then there is the huge “number of applicants awaiting decisions on asylum” in the UK, which has risen by 300% in four years.

According to yet another source, “In 2021, the top five most common countries of nationality of people who applied for asylum in the UK were Iran, Iraq, Eritrea, Albania and Syria.” With the exception of Eritrea, which is roughly half Muslim, half Christian, every one of these nations is overwhelmingly Muslim majority.

Incidentally, these numbers are separate from the pre-existing Muslim population of the UK, which, in 2017—before the recent migrant influx—was well over four million, or 6.3 percent of the entire, formerly Christian, population.

Little wonder that the name “Muhammad” is the most popular name for newborn baby boys in England; little wonder that Muslims in the UK and other Western European nations with large Muslim populations, regularly boast of demography as destiny.  As one report explained in 2008,  “Muslim hate fanatics plan to take over Britain by having more babies and forcing a population explosion…  The swollen Muslim population would be enough to conquer Britain from inside, they claim.”

Despite all of this, is it correct to refer to this Muslim migrant explosion an invasion?

In fact, it is not.  Consider some authoritative dictionary definitions of “invasion”:

  • Merriam-Webster: an “incursion of an army for conquest or plunder… an instance of invading a country or region with an armed force. … an unwelcome intrusion into another’s domain.
  • Cambridge: “an occasion when an army or country uses force to enter and take control of another country.”
  • Oxford: “the act of an army entering another country by force in order to take control of it.”

Now, to be sure, and as chronicled here and here, Muslims have, for over a millennium, launched countless military invasions into Europe that very much conformed to these definitions.  They came as an “army,” used “force to enter and take control” of various nations, and all “for conquest or plunder.”

While some of these invasions saw the long term conquest of European nations—Spain, the Mediterranean islands, the Balkans—jihadist invasions that did not lead to conquest but acquired much by way of booty and slaves were habitually launched against virtually every corner of Europe, as far as Iceland.  Indeed, from 1627 to 1633, Lundy, an island off the west coast of Britain, was actually occupied by Muslim pirates from North Africa, who pillaged England at will.

Moreover, many of today’s Muslims who migrant to Europe harbor the same motives of “conquest and plunder,” which in Rotherham, England, for example, saw thousands of young British girls turned into sex slaves.

Even so, the all-important ingredient that would qualify what is happening today as an “invasion” is missing: Muslims are not entering the UK by “force,” against the UK’s will.  They are being welcomed in by the government and authorities of the UK—those most charged with protecting and maintaining the national character of the UK.

This is why, Eastern Europe—which, thanks to its geographic proximity to Islam, has historically bore the brunt of and suffered from invading Islam—is not suffering now. Unlike the UK and many other Western European nations, Poland, Hungary, and their like have simply said no to migration from Muslim nations; and their native citizens are thanking them for it.

In short, if you’re invited in, you cannot be called an “invader”—regardless of your intentions.  Thus, and at the risk of appearing to quibble over semantics, what is happening today all throughout the West in general and the UK in particular must be seen and called out for what it actually is: not an unstoppable invasion, but an assisted suicide.

Mexico’s First Muslim Immigrant Shelter: A U.S. National Security Perspective
CIS travels to Tijuana to fill an information deficit

By Todd Bensman, November 30, 2022
Excerpt: While immigrant shelters in Tijuana and other northern Mexican border cities brim mainly with Spanish-speakers, this two-story, 8,000-square-foot former bar is the only one that expressly caters to Muslims, who arrive by taxi and Uber daily at its gated door from all over the Islamic world, including Yemen, Syria, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Lebanon, Egypt, Morocco, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Somalia, and other countries in the Middle East, North Africa, and South Asia.

JOE BIDEN’S ASSAULT ON AMERICA’S HOMELAND SECURITY

https://mexicanoccupation.blogspot.com/2022/06/joe-bidens-assault-on-homeland-security.html

REMEMBER THE MUSLIM INVASION SEPT 11 AND THE WORLD TRADE TOWERS

What could possibly go wrong? Border Report reported Monday that “a shelter for Muslim migrants opened over the weekend in Tijuana, the first of its kind in all of Mexico.” This is no small-time effort: “The Latino Muslim Foundation, based in San Diego and Tijuana, raised half a million dollars to make the facility a reality.” Meanwhile, fifty people on the terror watch list have been apprehended at the Southern border so far this year, and there is no telling how many got across without being caught. Welcome to Old Joe Biden’s America.

The Other Imam at the South Florida Islamic Center

Fadi Kablawi targets Jews, Christians, gays, women, fellow Muslims, even house pets.

Fadi Kablawi, the imam of Masjid As-Sunnah An-Nabawiyyah, frequently attacks Jews, Christians, gays and women, during his sermons in front of his North Miami congregation. He has even joked about sacrificing cats. This being the case, why would other mosques wish to inflict this vile individual and his extreme bigotry upon themselves and their congregants? Yet, it is exactly what is happening, and one in particular, the Islamic Center of South Florida (ICOSF), has recently made Kablawi a core piece of its worship service. Their legitimization of this monster must be seen as a reflection upon themselves and demands an investigation.

ICOSF is owned by the North American Islamic Trust (NAIT), a group named by the US government, in 2007 and 2008, a co-conspirator to the financing of the terrorist group Hamas. ICOSF’s imam, Hasan Sabri, has, in the past, cursed America as an “enemy” and threatened Muslims who accept help from the US. Sabri’s radical pronouncements and his mosque’s terror-tied background it seems is not enough for ICOSF. The mosque has felt the need to reach out to other radical imams to solicit their participation, as well.

This past March, May and June, ICOSF featured Texas imam Monzer Taleb as a speaker. Taleb is a self-professed member of Hamas, who posted on Facebook, in June 2019, that Jews in Israel “should be relocated to Germany.” Taleb has also referred to masked Hamas militants as “superheroes.” As the lead vocalist of singing troupe Al-Sakhra, Taleb is shown on video singing: “O Jew, O coward… I am from Hamas and have never cheered for anyone else besides her… And she is the one which marches with the light of Muhammad… towards Jihad.”

Another imam, who has become more of a regular at ICOSF, is Miami-based and Jordanian-born Fadi Yousef Kablawi. Between April and October, Kablawi was brought in at least five times to give the khutbah (Friday prayer) at the mosque. For Muslims, the performance of the khutbah sermon is a primary formal occasion of great spiritual significance. To provide Kablawi with this honor is dangerous, as he, for years, has used khutbas to spread repugnant bigotry and incite against others, including Muslims who do not believe the way he does.

Kablawi’s favorite targets, by far, are Jews. In December 2020, Kablawi called Jews “the lowest of the lowest.” He said that people “crack jokes about Jews being cheap” as “a punishment from Allah.” In January 2021, Kablawi stated that Jews “deserve the wrath of Allah… because he knows what the truth is… [H]e knows what’s right, but his intention is evil.” Kablawi has frequently promoted, including multiple times this year, a fake conspiracy theory claiming that over 90 percent of Jews “are not real Jews” but some form of mislabeled “Russians.”

Kablawi likes vilifying Christians, too. In September 2020, he told his congregants, “[T]he Christians don’t think. They just follow whatever.” In January 2019, he said, “If you look at all the religions in the world, Christianity can compete for first place in stupidity.” In September 2021, Kablawi stated, “When I go outside to make dawah (outreach), I’m not going [up] to a Christian to tell him ‘I hate you’… but that does not deny the fact I do… I don’t hate him because his head is big or he’s skinny or fat or his skin color, but I still hate him as a being.”

In August 2021, Kablawi blamed women victims of rape for the violence committed against them and said that gays should thank him for their continued existence. This past July, Kablawi even took aim at house pets. After encouraging his congregation to sacrifice goats for Eid al-Adha, a Muslim holiday that includes animal slaughter, and telling them to arrive with their families and pets to join in celebration, Kablawi crudely joked, “Bring out your children, your wives, your families… your parrots and the cats. Maybe we sacrifice some cats.”

Indeed, Kablawi is not just a man of bigotry, but he is also a man of violence. In fact, according to Kablawi himself, the FBI believes he has had involvement with ISIS. In July 2020, Kablawi stated, “[J]ihad is when you put your life on the line. Not the cute jihad, as they call everything ‘jihad’ today… Real jihad is not climbing walls. Real jihad is climbing over people’s necks and heads and skulls.”

This past February, Kablawi told his congregants, “You have to enter into Islam completely” and “abide by the Shariah and the laws of Allah completely.” He said, “This is the only way you can fulfill your responsibility as a believer… I don’t care if you think it’s suitable today or not. That’s your problem.” He told them that they have to practice “true Islam,” where you “apply the hudud” punishments (lashes, hand amputations, stonings, crucifixions), “fly to Gaza,” “kill this and that,” and employ the death penalty “punishment for adultery (zina).”

One of Kablawi’s followers, then-Masjid As-Sunnah An-Nabawiyyah congregant Salman Rasheed, appeared to have taken Kablawi’s words to heart, when he was arrested for soliciting an individual to contact ISIS in a plot to murder the deans of both Broward College and Miami-Dade College. Rasheed posted on Facebook, “Americans Are Our Greatest Enemy After Israeli Yahuds” and “Americans will pay Inch by Inch For everything they have done to us…” Kablawi, who met with and spoke with Rasheed on several occasions, called Rasheed a “good brother.” Rasheed’s mother accused Kablawi of having brainwashed her son to commit terrorist acts.

Why would ICOSF or any other mosque wish for Fadi Kablawi to represent their institutions? Why would they wish to legitimize Kablawi in any way, unless of course they agree with his sentiments, his bigotry and his violence?

The association between ICOSF and Kablawi must be investigated. ICOSF should be shut down, and Kablawi should be prosecuted for incitement.

Mexico’s First Muslim Immigrant Shelter:
A U.S. National Security Perspective

CIS travels to Tijuana to fill an information deficit

TIJUANA, Mexico (November 30, 2022) – A new Center for Immigration Studies report highlights the national security and terrorism risks of Mexico’s first immigrant shelter catering to U.S.-bound Muslim immigrants. Most of the 30 to 140 guests hosted every day at the mosque-shelter are “special interest aliens”, U.S.-bound immigrants from countries where Islamic terrorist groups operate, which should trigger bilateral law enforcement screening and intelligence counterterrorism activities with Mexico to investigate them further. But Mexican and American intelligence and law enforcement seem to have little interest in the Albergue Assabil/Mesquijta Taybah shelter, located two blocks from the U.S. border.

Migrants arrive daily from all over the Islamic world, including Yemen, Syria, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Lebanon, Egypt, Morocco, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Somalia, and other countries in the Middle East, North Africa, and South Asia. All are headed over the border, with the shelter and non-profit  advocacy groups helping many exploit what CIS recently revealed is a secretive new Biden administration “humanitarian parole” program that legalizes them in Mexico and then allows Mexican authorities to discretely hand them off to American authorities at the border for resettlement. But many others choose not to avail themselves of that program and find smugglers to cross them over illegally.

Concerned by the information deficit about a shelter welcoming such a large number of special interest aliens (SIAs) during a period of historically high apprehensions of migrants on the FBI terrorism watch list, Todd Bensman, the Center’s senior national security fellow, visited the shelter in November. He spoke with several shelter guests and conducted the first interview of its director about the sensitive national security issues the operation naturally raises for the United States.

Chief among the CIS findings is that, while American and officials are aware of the facility’s purpose, none have overtly sought to collect intelligence information, in any systematic way, about special interest aliens passing through with obvious, known plans to illegally cross the southern border. Nor, apparently, has either government sought systematic collaboration with the shelter’s manager, who told CIS she would gladly cooperate had either government ever asked. But neither had as of publication.

Bensman said, “The information deficit in regard to a shelter where so many SIAs congregate is concerning, particularly because screening challenges exist at this time due to the massive numbers crossing the border. Even more worrisome is that it is happening when there is increasing evidence that counterterrorism collaboration between Mexico and the United States is breaking down under the crushing weight of the highest numbers of U.S.-bound migrants ever recorded -- plus, perhaps, a lack of American interest.”

The War on Christianity Within Christianity

By their fruits you shall know them.

A Russian Orthodox priest friend of mine believes that there’s a war on Christianity being waged in the United States. This war is not only happening in the United States — but internationally as well.

A quick Google search on the topic reveals many reports of increased hostility towards Christianity, especially in the United States. Many of these news items report calls for the destruction of religious statues, most notably of Junipero Serra, the Spanish missionary Philadelphia essayist Agnes Repplier described as “Spain’s gift to America,” a gift that was one “of disinterested benevolence.”

In 2020, a statue of St. Junipero Serra near San Francisco was defaced and pulled down on California’s Indigenous People’s Day. Masked leftist rioters sprayed red paint in the statue’s face before they toppled it.

In Denver of the same year, a statue of St. Jude was beheaded. This was followed by an image of Our Lady of Guadeloupe being toppled in Upland, California.

A parallel attack on religious statues occurred when Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) openly condemned St. Damien of Molokai, a Hawaiian hero who devoted a decade of his life to the care of lepers. AOC said that Fr. Damien’s statue in the U.S. Capitol was a part of “colonialism, patriarchy and white supremacist culture.”

In a tweet on August 4, Cortez tried to walk back her words:

“At no point did I say Fr. Damien was a bad figure – in fact, I explicitly stated that my observations weren’t about litigating his or any individual statue. It’s about the fact that a huge supermajority of statues in the Capitol are white men. Barely any women…”

When hearings were conducted back in 2018 for attorney Brian Buescher, a devout Catholic and Knights of Columbus member nominated for the US District Court for the District of Nebraska, Senator Mazie Hirono, D-Hawaii, and then-Senator Kamala Harris, D-California, mercilessly drilled Buescher on his Knights of Columbus membership, asking him about possible conflicts of interest, as if the organization had a game plan similar to that of the KKK. The Leadership Conference on Civil Rights also opposed his confirmation.

Worldwide, Reuters reported that 9,488 churches and church buildings were attacked in 2019. Lela Gilbert, Adjunct Fellow at the Center for Religious Freedom, writes that, in India, Christian churches are regularly attacked by the Hindu national movement and that in Pakistan as of May 2019, 200 Christians were executed on charges of “insulting Islam or Mohammad.”

In China, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has worked overtime tearing down Christian crosses. When the CCP instituted new legislation in late 2019 stating that “religious organizations must adhere to the leadership of the Chinese Communist Party,” that all but took the soul and substance out of “official” Christianity in that country.

In June 2020, Christianity Today conducted a poll among Catholics to find out what they thought were the most pressing issues facing the Church today. The results were surprising. The most pressing issue for Catholics was human trafficking, followed by poverty, climate change, and the refugee crisis. The persecution of Christians came in last.

The word “persecution” suggests the burning of churches, the arrests of clergy, and the forbidding of church services. But it must be stressed that the beginning stages of persecution are often so subtle that they may not be noticed.

George Yancey, a writer for Belief.net, wrote:

“By a clinical definition of persecution, yes, Christians are persecuted in the US. But I discourage Churches in the US from saying that we are persecuted since what we face today isn’t what most people envision when they think of persecution.”

Yancey goes on to say that while Christians aren’t exactly being beheaded in the USA as they sometimes are in the Middle East, the more openly devout Christians here face growing intolerance, lawsuits, jobs lost, and public disdain. As for being a Christian on the campus of most universities, forget it. Christians are regarded as, at best, uncool, and at worst, hateful and bigoted.

But arguably more concerning than the war on Christianity is the war within Christianity itself. When Christian churches change many of their own traditional dogmas to suit the secular culture, they contribute to their own collapse from within.

Generally, the kind of Christianity being promoted today is a milquetoast Christianity that does not challenge the mores and beliefs of the progressive secular culture – but seeks to blend with it so as not to cause offense. It is the Christianity of liberal Benedictine nuns like feminist social activist Joan Chittster of Erie, Pennsylvania, and scores of others who see Christianity as a kind of United Nations of the soul where the latest social justice cause becomes a tenet of Christian orthodoxy.

This new form of Christianity is changing many Churches and denominations, including Eastern Orthodoxy and Roman Catholicism.

In Eastern Orthodoxy, a prime example of the infiltration of secular values into the Church can be measured by the actions of the Orthodox Christian Studies Center (OCSC) at the Jesuit-run Fordham University. The OCSC bills itself as a forum for “divisive perspectives on contemporary issues related to Orthodox Christianity,” including, for example, edgy topics like children who may identify as non-binary or transgender.

Orthodox “leaders” such as the always-sassy Sister Vassa of Vienna, host of the cultish “Coffee with Sister Vassa” podcast, might as well be a theological tentacle of the James Martin School of New Theology. Sister Vassa, for instance, loves posing for photographs of herself without her nun’s veil, so that viewers can see that there’s really a flesh-and-blood woman beneath all that Russian Orthodox garb.

The refugee crisis response on the aforementioned Christianity Today poll is a perfect example of how U.S. Catholics are drinking the political Kool-Aid of the Democrat Party. It is also indicative of how the Catholic Church in the United States may be on its way to Milquetoast-ville.

Consider how the U.S. Catholic Bishops Conference has issued statement after statement condemning current US policy on the deportation of illegal aliens, supporting sanctuary cities, and condemnations of the infamous southern wall during the Trump administration.

In 2019, millions of dollars from the annual Catholic Peter’s Pence collection were handed over to leftist billionaire financier George Soros’ funding agencies — where they were given to illegal immigrant caravans as they headed towards the Mexican-USA border in 2019.

During the 2019 U.S. Catholic Bishops Annual Assembly, 69 out of 212 bishops voted against language identifying abortion as the pre-imminent issue facing the Church today. Some critics cite this vote as further proof that the American Catholic Church has aligned itself with Democrats.

As my priest friend commented, “They want Christianity to be a nice little charming thing you do at Christmas or Easter…but something never to be taken too seriously.”

This means that the milquetoast Christians and churches who conform their beliefs to those of the ever-changing secular culture gain cultural and political favor over the more openly devout, who become the targets for persecution.

The competing Christianities—real vs milquetoast—have created deep divisions among believers, and a house divided cannot stand.

England No Longer a Christian Nation as Atheism and Islam Make Gains – Census

BIRMINGHAM, ENGLAND - MARCH 23: A mosque stands next to a church in Lozells on March 23, 2017 in Birmingham, England. After yesterday's London terror attack, police have made a number of arrests and raided addresses in Birmingham and other parts of the country. British born attacker Khalid Masood, from …

Less than half of people in England and Wales are Christian, the census has revealed, with both atheism and Islam making major gains.

The majority of people in both England and Wales are not Christian for the first time probably since the 7th century AD, data from the 2021 census published on Tuesday has revealed.

According to the information released by Britain’s Office of National Statistics, both England and Wales have lost their status as majority-Christian nations, with only 46.3 per cent of the population of England reporting themselves as being Christian, while only 43.6 per cent of the Welsh population now describe themselves as being adherents to a denomination of Christianity.

While the faith still remains the plurality religion in both countries, it is the first time the total percentage of the population who are Christian has dropped below the 50 per cent mark in modern history, and most likely since the British isles were converted and moved away from Paganism 1,300 years ago. The change is even more pronounced when viewed over longer periods, with today’s 46 per cent of those in England professing to be Christian comparing to 71 per cent in 2001, just 20 years ago.

Meanwhile, the percentage of people saying that they have “no religion” in both nations has spiked significantly, growing from around a quarter of the population of both countries in 2011 to over 37 per cent by the time of recording the census last year.

Islam saw the next largest overall increase, growing in number from 2.7 million to 3.9 million in the decade, a rise of 44 per cent in ten years. In all, Muslims now account for 6.5 per cent of ordinary residents of England and Wales, and in 2001 they were 2.9 per cent.

Smaller religions also saw an increase, with the number of self-described pagans in the country growing by over 15,000 adherents since 2011, and the nations seeing an extra 200,000 Hindus and 100,000 Sikhs.

According to Church of England archbishop, Stephen Cottrell, the results represent a challenge to Britain’s Christian population, with the faith leader saying that church leaders can no longer simply rely on people claiming adherence to the faith even if they are non-practising.

“We have left behind the era when many people almost automatically identified as Christian but other surveys consistently show how the same people still seek spiritual truth and wisdom and a set of values to live by,” he claimed, saying that the statistic “throws down a challenge to [Christians] not only to trust that God will build his kingdom on Earth but also to play our part in making Christ known”.

However, while Cottrell says that people still need a “spiritual truth” to guide them, it appears that British Christianity no longer has a monopoly on offering that truth, with Islam really enjoying a strong foothold in many regions.

While 6.5 per cent of the population of England and Wales overall, there are areas of great concentration, with London’s Tower Hamlets borough now being over 40 per cent Muslim.

Other regions, such as Blackburn and Darwen, as well as Luton, have also seen their Muslim populations rise to over 30 per cent of their total since the last census, with trends indicating that more areas of Britain may soon follow over the coming decade.

Buh-Bye! Ilhan Omar to be Removed from Foreign Affairs Cmte. for Anti-Semitism, 'Likely' Speaker McCarthy Says

When people get exactly what they deserve coming to them, you hate to see it — you really do. Of course, I’m joking. When something happens professionally to a member of Congress who hates the way the country that gave them everything they have was constructed, it seems to be a time to cheer on. And in this case, it couldn’t have happened to a nicer person.

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) announced on Saturday that if he officially becomes Speaker of the House in 2023 he will be removing activist “Squad” member Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) from the House Foreign Affairs Committee.

“I promised you last year that as speaker she will no longer be on Foreign Affairs, and I’m keeping that promise,” McCarthy told the audience at the 2022 Republican Jewish Coalition meeting.

McCarthy cited Omar’s previous anti-Semitic comments as the main impetus for her removal from the committee.

“We watch antisemitism grow, not just on our campuses, but we watched it grow In the halls of Congress,” McCarthy said, according to Fox News.

It’s not clear why she was on the committee in the first place, other than to tick off her political adversaries, but she didn’t really accomplish much in her time on said committee.

McCarthy’s position as Speaker of the House isn’t carved in stone, but is reported to be “likely” when the vote takes place on January 3.

Has the Democrat party converted to Islam?

On October 21, U.S. reps. Ilhan Omar and Jan Schakowsky issued a press release introducing a bill titled the "Combating International Islamophobia Act."  According the release, the purpose of the bill is "to address the rise in incidents of Islamophobia worldwide."

Specifically, it would require "the State Department to create a Special Envoy for monitoring and combating Islamophobia, [which would] include state-sponsored Islamophobic violence and impunity [sic] in the Department's annual human rights reports."

The bill was supported by the White House, which, notwithstanding its focus on Islam alone, described it as a measure committed to "defending freedom of religion and belief."

On Dec, 14, 2021, the bill, H.R. 5665, passed in the House, 219 to 212.  No Democrat voted against it; no Republican voted for it.

Portions of the bill at §3(k) describe its scope:

(1) acts of physical violence against, or harassment of, Muslim people, and acts of violence against, or vandalism of, Muslim community institutions, including schools, mosques, and cemeteries

Under this clause, no reports of any violence and killing committed not against Muslims, but by Muslims against other religious groups, nor the suppression of non-Muslims in Muslim-ruled nations, would be authorized.  Only acts against Muslims.

(2) instances of propaganda in government and nongovernment media that attempt to justify or promote racial hatred or incite acts of violence against Muslim people

The astute reader will notice a difference between this clause and the press release issued by Omar and Schakowsky.  That release did not include any mention of "nongovernment media" — that is, "non-government" newspapers, magazines, radio and television programs, internet, social media — as being within its scope of oversight.  The press release mentions the mouse but omits the elephant.

The beginning of wisdom is to call things by their proper name.  If English is our language, the term "Islamophobia" means "irrational fear of Islam."  So we are facing a rise of irrational fear of Islam?  Why would that be of concern to anyone except those who are suffering from such irrational fear?

The press release and bill are not really talking about a fear of Islam; they are talking about a hostility toward Islam, which are not the same thing.

One may fear Muslims but not necessarily hate them, or act violently against them.  But, in expressing fears about Muslims, is certainly possible that such fears may lead some persons to hostile acts of violence.  Does this mean that such fears cannot be raised?  What if they are justified?

The bill does not address this issue; instead, it proceeds as if there could be no rational basis for fear of Islam.  That would be a Muslim presumption; if based only on Islamic scriptures, however, such presumption would not be an objective one.

Those Scriptures include biographies of Muhammad, which describe his great achievement of uniting Arabs under the standard of Islam, but which also include accounts of callous and unprecedented assassinations of political and religious opponents in order reach that objective.  Nonetheless, in the Quran, at 33:21, Allah names Muhammad as a good example for mankind.  It is fair to expect that some Muslims, appalled at the degeneracy of the West, but blind to its virtues, have taken that endorsement to heart.  And if assassination is justifiable for what is believed to be a greater purpose, then what isn't?

In short, if there is content in the media that could give rise to fear of Islam, such content is not necessarily "propaganda," as the bill effectively assumes.

Need it be said that H.R. 5665 violates the First Amendment at two different levels?  First of all, in addressing not the alleged hostile actions themselves, but rather the media that are supposedly instigating those actions, the bill runs afoul of such media's freedom of speech.

Secondly, in focusing on issues relating specifically to Islam and to no other religion, the bill is "respecting an establishment of religion," which, under the Amendment, is prohibited.

One has to wonder if the 219 House members are aware that we have a Constitution, or whether it has a First Amendment?

In addition to constitutional issues is the one of national sovereignty.  Two hundred nineteen Democrats have voted for the U.S. to monitor "international Islamophobia."  But the U.S. is not an international institution; Islam is.  This is Islam's concern, not America's.  Or have the Democrats converted to Islam?

Following its passage in the House, the bill, now as S. 3344, was forwarded to the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations.  Because of the 50-50 party split in the full Senate, the membership of the Committee was also evenly split, leaving the bill in a deadlock.  If Raphael Warnock wins the Georgia seat, Democrats would have a majority in the committee.  If that majority accepted the bill as the House presented it, it could move to the Senate floor for a full vote — one in which, if it is passed, will not need reconciliation with the House, which would no longer be controlled by Democrats.

Republicans might try to filibuster such a vote, but, the filibuster being not a law, but only a Senate rule, it could be terminated by a simple majority of senators.  Democrats could possibly have the votes to do that, and then vote S. 3384 into law.

As noted, however, the bill is unconstitutional on at least two levels, and so could likely be challenged successfully in court on such bases.  Since Republicans would control the House, Democrats would be unable to pack the Supreme Court in order to prevent such outcome.

Even so, it would be far better if such a challenge did not need to be made at all, for the more legislation the Court must strike down, the greater is the appearance that it is legislating from the bench.  In either case, a lot rides on the Dec6 run-off election between incumbent Raphael Warnock and Herschel Walker.

Rep. Ilhan Omar Accused of Being Qatari Asset

They groomed her and arranged the foundation, the grounds, for her to get into politics way before she even showed interest.

It’s an interesting claim.

Qatar is the key backer of the Muslim Brotherhood now, not to mention allegedly tied in with every Islamist terror group from Al Qaeda to the Taliban. There’s little doubt that Rep. Ilhan Omar is an enemy of the United States. However, it’s best to be wary of foreign intel that seems to tell you exactly what you want to hear. The Saudis are fighting Qatar and while they correctly identify Qatar’s role in Jihad, their own hands weren’t all that clean.

So take allegations like these with a grain of salt.

Congresswoman Ilhan Omar (D-Minnesota-5th) was recruited by a foreign government, received funding from a foreign government, and passed sensitive information through intermediaries to Iran, a Florida court has been told, as The Jerusalem Post confirmed.

The claims came during testimony by Kuwati-born Canadian businessman Alan Bender, who was giving evidence in the trial of Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad al-Thani. The Qatari emir’s brother stands accused of ordering his American bodyguard to murder two people, and of holding an American citizen hostage. His deposition, obtained by Al Arabiya English, was authenticated by the attorney for the plaintiffs, according to the publication.

Speaking from Toronto by video link, Bender told the Florida District Court that he met with Qatar’s Secretary to the Emir for Security Affairs Mohammad bin Ahmed bin Abdullah al-Masnad and two other senior Qatari officials.

According to his sworn deposition, the three officials told him: “If it wasn’t for our cash, Ilhan Omar would be just another black Somali refugee in America collecting welfare and serving tables on weekends.”

Bender testified that the officials asked him to recruit American politicians and journalists as Qatari assets, and that when he objected, was told that several prominent figures were already on the payroll. Omar was described as the “jewel in the crown,” he said.

Qatar “recruited Ilhan Omar from even way before she thought about becoming a government official… They groomed her and arranged the foundation, the grounds, for her to get into politics way before she even showed interest. They convinced her,” he added.

Frankly, Qatar has much better jewels in its crown than a mere congresswoman.

Biden just elevated a Brookings Doha veteran to the closest thing to an ambassador to the “Palestinians”. Qatar asset Jamal Khashoggi became a martyr courtesy of the Washington Post. There are Senate members on both sides of the aisle who spew Qatari propaganda. And there’s been hardly a word of criticism of the Jihadist state from prominent figures in either party with the exception of Senator Ted Cruz or anyone in the media.

I recently ran a story about a much more credible account of how Qatar had spied on Rep. Diaz-Balart and it got almost no play.

Suggesting that Omar is Qatar’s crown jewel in D.C. is like claiming that Manhattan’s crown jewel is a Burger King.

That doesn’t mean that Qatar isn’t recruiting Americans and didn’t groom Omar. Certainly she’s tied in with some of their backed groups. I’m just saying it’s vastly underselling what Qatar has done.

Biden administration grants immunity to Saudi crown prince, murderer of Jamal Khashoggi

The US State Department has granted immunity to Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, shielding him from prosecution for the murder of Saudi political dissident and legal permanent US resident Jamal Khashoggi. The decision was disclosed last week and widely reported on Friday.

This action shows that the Biden administration’s claim to defend democracy and human rights—the supposed justification for its intervention in the Ukraine war and around the world—is a flat-out lie.

Biden said contemptuously during his visit to Saudi Arabia last May, when journalists questioned him about the murder and dismemberment of Khashoggi by a hit squad inside the Saudi consulate in Istanbul, Turkey, “Why don’t you guys talk about something that matters? I’m happy to answer a question that matters.” That is the authentic, arrogant voice of US imperialism.

In this image released by the Saudi Royal Palace, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, right, greets President Joe Biden with a fist bump after his arrival at Al-Salam palace in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, Friday, July 15, 2022. [AP Photo/Bandar Aljaloud/Saudi Royal Palace via AP]

The State Department was responding to an official query from a federal judge hearing the civil suit brought by Khashoggi’s fiancée, Hatice Cengiz, and a human rights group Khashoggi had founded, seeking to hold bin Salman accountable for the murder. It issued instructions to the US Department of Justice to intervene in the case by informing the judge that bin Salman had sovereign immunity, “which the United States has consistently and across administrations applied to heads of state, heads of government and foreign ministers while they are in office.”

The action appeared to be coordinated with the Saudi regime, since in September bin Salman was appointed prime minister by his father, the king, who, according to Saudi custom, had carried the title of prime minister, with his son as deputy prime minister. That appointment meant that bin Salman now qualified for the exemption from legal liability. Bin Salman has not traveled to Europe or the United States since the Khashoggi murder in 2018 to avoid possible legal problems.

Biden claimed during the 2020 election campaign that he would make Saudi Arabia a “pariah” on the world scene because of the Khashoggi murder. Once in office, he released an assessment by the CIA—which has vast experience both in murders and their cover-up—that bin Salman ordered the killing of Khashoggi, which was carried out under the direction of his personal security chief.

Fred Ryan, the publisher of the Washington Post, where Khashoggi wrote a regular op-ed column focused on the Middle East, and particularly the Saudi monarchy, denounced the State Department, saying in a statement, “President Biden is failing to uphold America’s most cherished values. He’s granting a license to kill to one of the world’s most egregious human rights abusers.”

The record of bloody tyranny in Saudi Arabia extends far beyond the gruesome killing of Khashoggi. The monarchic regime kills dozens of its own subjects every year, mainly through public beheadings and hangings, especially targeting advocates of the rights of the country’s Shia minority, who live mainly in the oil-rich Eastern Province. In the the most recent mass execution, last March, 81 men were beheaded at bin Salman’s orders.

None of this matters compared to the Saudi supply of oil to the world market and its lucrative arms purchases, mainly from American manufacturers, to bolster its critical military role in the Arabian Peninsula and against Iran, just across the Persian Gulf. Biden traveled to Riyadh in May to make amends with bin Salman for his campaign rhetoric and plead with the de facto Saudi ruler to boost production to offset the cutoff of Russian supplies as a result of the war in Ukraine. Instead, bin Salman recently ordered a reduction in Saudi production, evidently seeking to force more US concessions, including the State Department declaration last week.

Biden’s rapprochement with bin Salman is part of a broader pattern, in which Washington cultivates a network of autocrats and murderers around the world in order to maintain its global domination. Two weeks ago Biden traveled to Egypt to attend the UN-sponsored COP27 climate summit. There he was welcomed by the country’s military dictator, President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, shaking hands stained with the blood of thousands of Egyptian workers and youth massacred in the 2013 military coup that suppressed a budding revolutionary movement.

Biden praised el-Sisi’s role in Gaza, where the military regime has helped prop up Israeli domination of nearly two million Palestinians by policing and virtually closing the enclave’s border with Egypt. He pledged to preserve “our strong defense partnership,” expressing the hope that “we can even say we’re closer and stronger in every way.”

This week, Biden’s vice president, Kamala Harris, is meeting with Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., who aims to reprise his father’s role as a dictatorial ruler of that country. Harris traveled to Manila Sunday after attending the summit of the Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN) in Thailand.

In Bangkok, she had a cordial chat with Thai military ruler Prayut Chan-o-cha, who suppresses workers and small farmers on behalf of the monarchy, the big financial interests, and the imperialist powers, especially the US and Japan. According to the official readout of the meeting, the two leaders “discussed our security cooperation... and the benefits our alliance provides for our people as we promote a free and open Indo-Pacific.” That is diplomatic jargon for Thailand lining up with the US-led campaign against China.

The readout said Harris “reaffirmed the enduring partnership between the United States and Thailand, one that is rooted in common values, and discussed efforts to strengthen our cooperation across a range of bilateral and global issues.” Thailand’s military rulers have dispersed parliaments, rigged elections, banned opposition parties and violently suppressed antigovernment protests. To claim “common values” has an ominous ring.

Both Democratic and Republican senators spoke out in support of the State Department announcement, citing the geopolitical interests of American imperialism in the Middle East as the overriding issue. Democratic Senator Mark Warner of Virginia said, “We need to be enough of a realist to realize that Saudi Arabia has been a bulwark against Iran. It is a leader in a very messy part of the world.”

Republican Senator Tom Cotton was even blunter. Asked about the issue during an interview on “Fox News Sunday,” he said, “Look, if we didn’t have allies and partners who don’t always share our political systems, our cultural and social sensibilities, we wouldn’t have any allies and partners. Saudi Arabia has been an important partner of the United States for 80 years. Presidents of both parties have worked with them.”

He continued, “[W]hat matters most about governments around the world is less whether they’re democratic or nondemocratic and more whether they’re pro-American or anti-American. And the simple fact is, Saudi Arabia has been an American partner going back 80 years.”

There is another issue in the embrace of the murderer of Khashoggi by the Biden administration, one which is perhaps even more important than the specific role of the Saudi regime in US foreign policy. As the State Department statement said, “Across administrations, there is an unbroken practice of the United States recognizing immunity for heads of government while they are in office—and we expect other governments to do the same for the United States.”

Former State Department lawyer Brian Finucane told the Washington Post that every US administration was concerned about American officials being prosecuted in foreign courts for war crimes and other charges. “Reciprocity concerns lie at the core of this rule,” he told the newspaper.

When it comes to murder and other barbaric acts, bin Salman, el-Sisi and Marcos Jr. cannot hold a candle to an American president. The victims of American military aggression, “targeted killings,” and economic blockades (Iraq, Iran, North Korea) number in the millions. No government since Hitler’s Germany has killed so many. Thus every American president fears legal consequences.

It is for that reason that the United States has refused, under both Democratic and Republican presidents, to join the International Criminal Court (ICC), and Congress even passed legislation authorizing US military action to rescue any American brought before the tribunal in The Hague, Netherlands.

As the leaders of the most powerful imperialist power, Biden & Co. can defy the toothless machinery of the United Nations and the ICC with impunity, as well as whitewashing the bloody crimes of their allies and stooges like bin Salman. Their downfall will not come through bourgeois diplomatic institutions, but through the mobilization of the American and world working class in a revolutionary movement against the capitalist system as a whole.

The Unspoken Genocide of Christians in Nigeria

The black lives that don’t matter.

Did you know that, all throughout sub-Saharan Africa—in Nigeria, Mozambique, the Central African Republic, Mali, the Democratic Republic of Congo—Muslims have for many years been terrorizing and slaughtering Christians?

Nor is there any hope on the horizon: problems that cannot be honestly addressed are doomed to persist in perpetuity.

Enter the so-called “mainstream media.” As far as they are concerned, the persecution of Christians in Africa is a byproduct of economic and territorial grievances.

One report, titled, “How poverty and corruption fuel terrorism across Africa,” is emblematic.  After citing  an incident where “jihadis” connected to the Islamic State slaughtered dozens, it insists that such terrorist attacks, which  “are on the rise across the African continent,” are “a consequence of poverty, domestic grievances new and old…”

This has been the mainstream media’s argument, and they’re sticking to it — no matter all the mountains of contradictory evidence.

Take the little-known genocide of Christians in Nigeria. According to an August 2021 report, since the Islamic insurgency began in earnest in July 2009, more than 60,000 Christians have either been murdered during raids or abducted, never to be seen again. During this same timeframe, approximately 20,000 churches and Christian schools were torched and destroyed by “Allahu Akbar” screaming Muslims.

According to the World Watch List’s latest reporting, 79 percent of all Christians killed for their faith were killed in Nigeria, for a total of 4,650.

Who, exactly, is behind this travesty?  Two groups, primarily.  First is Boko Haram, Nigeria’s premier terrorist organization, whose full name means “Sunnis for [Islamic] Propagation and Jihad.”  “Boko Haram,” their nickname, means “Western education is a sin” (not “we kill because we’re poor”).  Their stated goal is the establishment of a pure sharia state and the brutal subjugation or slaughter of Nigeria’s Christians.

The other group, which has in recent years terrorized and slaughtered even more Christians than Boko Haram is the Fulani—Muslim herdsmen who regularly raid the villages of and slaughter Christians.   They, too, are acting on jihadist teachings and hate for Christians.

Considering that, on average, 13 Christians are slaughtered every day for their faith in Nigeria, it is almost pointless to list any particular incidents.  Those interested in following this tragedy can consult my “Muslim Persecution of Christians” series, where I collate the main instances of persecution that surface every month around the world.  Needless to say, when it comes to the slaughter of Christians, Nigeria dominates.  Here are just some of those that occurred for the month of September 2022:

  • 1: Muslim Fulani herdsmen hacked to death with machetes six Christians.
  • 11: Muslims murdered a Christian while abducting a pastor and wounding his wife.
  • 18: Muslim Fulani killed three Christians during a raid on a Christian village, “after slaughtering at least 22 others in the same area in the past three weeks.”
  • 21: More machete-wielding Muslim herdsmen massacred 15 Christians in midnight raids on two Christian villages.
  • 23: Muslim Fulani raided six predominantly Christian villages in the same region of Benue state. “These attacks by the herdsmen have left dozens of Christians dead and several more with gunshot injuries and machete attack wounds,” an area resident said.
  • 17: During an all-night prayer vigil inside a church, Muslim Fulani broke in and abducted dozens of Christians. Less than one week earlier, 60 other Christians were abducted from the same denomination in another region of the country.
  • 4: Gunmen kidnapped dozens of Christians from church, including the pastor’s son.

Responding to these and other attacks, a recent statement from the Southern Kaduna Peoples Union said,

There is still no breathing space for Christian communities … as terrorists, jihadists, bandits and armed herdsmen have continued to plunder and wreck Christian communities…

The atrocities are, indeed, nonstop.  Most recently, according to an Oct. 27 report, along with slaughtering 15 more Christians—mostly women and children, as they slept during the night—Muslim Fulani also, and quite sadistically, cut off the breast of a Christian woman.

Despite all this, the American “mainstream” remains committed to describing the jihad in Nigeria as a byproduct of “inequality” and “poverty,” to quote Bill Clinton, as he once explained what was “fueling all this stuff” (the “stuff” being a reference to the genocide of Christians in Nigeria).

In their quest to blame anything and everything but reality, even climate change has been added to the mainstream arsenal of reasons fueling the jihad on Christians. After Muslim Fulani massacred some 50 Christians as they peacefully worshipped inside their church on Pentecost Sunday (Jun. 5, 2022), the president of Ireland, Michael Higgins, issued a statement precisely making such an absurd claim.

But as one Nigerian nun, Sister Monica Chikwe, once observed, “It’s tough to tell Nigerian Christians this isn’t a religious conflict since what they see are Fulani fighters clad entirely in black, chanting ‘Allahu Akbar!’ and screaming ‘Death to Christians.’”  Or as the Christian Association of Nigeria once asked, “How can it be a [secular or economic] clash when one group [Muslims] is persistently attacking, killing, maiming, destroying, and the other group [Christians] is persistently being killed, maimed and their places of worship destroyed?”

Perhaps worst of all has been the Biden administration’s response.  In 2020, Trump placed Nigeria on the State Department’s list of Countries of Particular Concern—that is, nations which engage in, or tolerate violations of, religious freedom.  Under Biden, however, the State Department removed Nigeria—this nation where one Christian is killed every two hours—from the list.

Needless to say, many observers slammed the State Department for this unexpected move. As Sean Nelson, Legal Counsel for Global Religious Freedom for ADF International, noted:

Outcry over the State Department’s removal of Country of Particular Concern status for Nigeria’s religious freedom violations is entirely warranted. No explanations have been given that could justify this decision. If anything, the situation in Nigeria has grown worse over the last year. Thousands of Christians, as well as Muslims who oppose the goals of terrorist and militia groups, are targeted, killed, and kidnapped, and the government is simply unwilling to stop these atrocities. … Removing Country of Particular Concern status for Nigeria will only embolden the increasingly authoritarian government there.

Incidentally and to his credit, along with placing Nigeria on the list, Trump once forthrightly asked the Nigerian president, Muhammadu Buhari—whom many Nigerian officials insist Obama helped bring to power—“Why are you killing Christians?”

At any rate, such is the current state of affairs: a jihad of genocidal proportions has been declared on the Christian population of Nigeria—and has since spilled over into several other sub-Saharan nations—even as American media and government present Nigeria’s problems in purely economic terms that defy reality.

The inability to accept the straightforward facts; the inability to factor ideological or existential motives, seeing only material motives (money, land, etc.); the almost instinctive conclusion that Muslim violence is proof positive of a legitimate grievance—all of these are so ingrained in the predominant paradigm, from the mainstream media to mainstream politicians, and all of these are poisoning Western civilization from within, and eroding its influence and capacity to act from without.

It also means that, for most American media and politicians, black lives do not matter—at least not when they’re Christian, and being terminated by Muslims.
