The buck stops...with the previous guy
It has happened before. In other words, the current president will blame his predecessor for this or that. However, I don't remember someone doing it in his third year or to this degree.
The Biden administration has a "Trump" for everything. Let's look at five of their excuses in this article from Ben Whedon:
President Joe Biden, however, has time and again sought to sidestep the weighty burden of history through the simple expedient of passing the buck for presidential choices gone awry to his predecessor.
With Biden's job approval rating remaining well underwater, his administration is redoubling efforts to blame its perceived failures on former President Trump — a practice dating back to its botched withdrawal from Afghanistan in August 2021 and stretching right up to the present, with its much-panned responses to the Chinese spy balloon and the Ohio toxic train derailment.
Let's look deeper:
1) Blame the Ohio derailment on Trump executive orders. Not true — but they had two years to reverse them if the rules were so dangerous to rail safety.
2) Balloons flew over us when Trump was president. No one in the Trump administration remembers, and I guarantee you that some bureaucrat would have leaked it to his favorite newsman if so. They leaked everything else.
3) Inflation was here when I got here. Well, inflation was here at 1.4%, and it’s a lot higher now.
4) Trump left us a chaotic border. This is so absurd that it makes you wonder how they can say it with a straight face.
5) Trump made me get out of Afghanistan the way we did. Why didn't Trump do it when he was president? He wanted to get out but understood that it was important to leave correctly.
Why do the Biden administration's people engage in these lies?
First, they know that the media won't challenge them. The journalists have been on a long "siesta" since Biden took over.
Second, and more seriously, the "Biden-istas" don't know what they are doing.

Hunter Linked to Russian Oligarch Who Was Involved in Former FBI Indictment
Hunter Biden is connected to Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska, who is involved in former FBI official Charles McGonigal’s recent indictment for violating U.S. sanctions by agreeing to provide services to Deripaska.
The connection is notable because it is the second link between Hunter and the allegedly dirty FBI New York spy chief McGonigal.
Emails found on Hunter’s abandoned laptop show Hunter tried to sell information about Deripaska to a U.S. aluminum firm, Alcoa, which had just signed a two-year metal supply agreement with Rusal, a Russian entity. In 2000, Deripaska founded Rusal.
In 2011, Hunter offered to “provide Alcoa with statistical analysis of political and corporate risks, elite networks associated with Oleg Deripaska (OD), Russian CEO of Basic Element company and United company RUSAL.” Hunter’s emails show.
The information included a “list of elites of similar rank in Russia, map of OD’s [Deripaska’s] networks based on frequency of interaction with selected elites and countries.”
The price for the information was “$25,000 for phase one of the project [and] $55,000 for refined analysis.”
The deal apparently never came to fruition because the U.S. company’s representative did not “believe the data analysis is worth the full $55,000.”
Seven years later, in 2018, Deripaska “was sanctioned for having acted or purported to act on behalf of, directly or indirectly, a senior official of the Government of the Russian Federation and for operating in the energy sector of the Russian Federation economy,” according to a U.S. indictment. Notably, Deripaska was involved in the 2016 Russia Hoax.
The indictment charged former FBI official Charles McGonigal with aiding Deripaska in trying to evade U.S. sanctions, along with taking secret cash payments from a former Albanian intelligence officer in an alleged “shakedown operation on wealthy Albanians for personal profit.”
McGonigal’s indictment for his alleged involvement in Albania for a “shakedown operation” has opened up new questions about why Albanians were allegedly paying McGonigal in 2017 — the same year Hunter’s emails appear to mention payments to the Albanian prime minister’s adviser.

In the fall of 2017, McGonigal, the former FBI’s counterintelligence chief in New York, received a $225,000 payment from a former Albanian intelligence officer known as Agron Neza, according to U.S. prosecutors. In turn, Agron Neza introduced McGonigal to the former Albanian prime minister’s adviser, Dorian Ducka, and a former member of the Chinese energy company named CEFC or CEFC China Energy Co, the New York Post’s Miranda Devine reported.
In an email thread discovered on Hunter’s laptop, Hunter and his business partners had a conversation about a person named “Dorian.”
“Dorian was a real help early on so we should consider how we include him,” James Gilliar, Hunter’s business partner, wrote in a May 13, 2017, email.
“No way we don’t do it,” replies Hunter, “and if majority says no I’ll take it out of my salary.”
There is one more alleged link between Hunter and a person named “Dorian Ducka.” Hunter’s laptop also shows an email with the subject line, “Dorian Ducka (@dorian_ducka) has requested to follow you on Twitter!” It is unknown if the account belongs to the same Dorian Ducka, but the Twitter request shows the requesting account was from Albania.
It is unclear if “Dorian” was ultimately employed in Hunter’s international business dealings or if the former Albanian prime minister’s adviser received payments from Hunter in 2017 — the same year McGonigal allegedly received a $225,000 payment from a former Albanian intelligence officer.
In 2018 and 2020, Breitbart Senior Contributor and Government Accountability Institute President Peter Schweizer published Secret Empires and Profiles in Corruption. Each book hit #1 on the New York Times bestseller list and exposed how Hunter Biden and Joe Biden flew aboard Air Force Two in 2013 to China before Hunter’s firm inked a $1.5 billion deal with a subsidiary of the Chinese government’s Bank of China less than two weeks after the trip. Schweizer’s work also uncovered the Biden family’s other vast and lucrative foreign deals and cronyism.
Breitbart Political Editor Emma-Jo Morris’s investigative work at the New York Post on the Hunter Biden “laptop from Hell” also captured international headlines when she, along with Miranda Devine, revealed that Joe Biden was intimately involved in Hunter’s businesses, appearing even to have a 10 percent stake in a company the scion formed with officials at the highest levels of the Chinese Communist Party.

Poll: 62% Say Joe Biden ‘Participated’ in Family Business Deals, Up 4 Points Since April
Sixty-two percent of registered voters believe President Joe Biden has “participated” in his family business deals, a Harvard Cap/Harris poll released Friday found.
The survey asked, “Did Joe Biden participate in his son’s influence-peddling business or did Joe Biden not participate in his son’s business?”
Sixty-two percent said Joe Biden has participated, while 38 percent said he has not.
Friday’s polling shows an upward tick on those who believe Joe Biden has been involved in the family business. In April, 58 percent said Joe Biden has played a role in his family’s business.
Though Joe Biden and his staff have claimed at least seven times that the president has not been involved in the family business, at least 19 pieces of evidence suggest Joe Biden has played an influential role in his son Hunter and brother James’s and Frank’s activities.
“I’ve never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings. Here’s what I know — I know Trump deserves to be investigated,” he claimed in 2019.

Evidence suggests otherwise. Frank Biden has admitted he peddled influence to the White House while Biden was president, CNN reported. And on Tuesday, reports surfaced that James Biden secretly negotiated a $140 million settlement deal in 2012 between a U.S. company and the Saudi Arabian government because of his relationship with then-Vice President Joe Biden.
The poll also asked respondents, “Is the Hunter Biden laptop genuine or Russian disinformation?”
Sixty percent said Hunter’s laptop was genuine, while 40 percent said it was not.
The perception of the authenticity of the laptop could be impacted by how the establishment media ignored and misinformed about the laptop scandal.
At least 15 establishment media personalities claimed Hunter’s laptop emails were likely Russian propaganda before the New York Times admitted it was authentic two years later.
CNN finally admitted that Hunter’s laptop was authentic 532 days after the initial story broke on October 24, 2020 — notably calling it “Russian disinformation” and “made up” at the time.
The Harris poll surveyed 1,838 registered voters from February 15-16, 2023. The margin of error was not provided.

Hunter Biden’s Art Dealer Stonewalls GOP Probe into Art Sales to Anonymous Buyers
Hunter Biden’s art dealer, Georges Bergès, refused on Thursday to provide the House Oversight Committee requested disclosures into his art sales to anonymous buyers.
Hunter, an attorney and former lobbyist who is under investigation for tax fraud, has reportedly sold about 12 paintings to anonymous buyers during his father’s term as President of the United States. The price tags of artwork are reported to be $500,000 each.
In January, House Oversight Committee chair James Comer (R-KY) requested Bergès testify before Congress and turn over relevant information about the art sales. Comer told Breitbart News in 2022 he is 95 percent sure the buyers of Hunter’s art are Chinese buyers, potentially implicating President Biden.
On Thursday, Bergès, who has a history of doing business in China, told Comer through his newly hired attorney, that he will not provide information related to Hunter’s art sales because the sales are intended to be secret — the very issue in which Comer has raised concerns.
“In light of these considerations, providing the documents and information requested in your letter seemingly would defeat the efforts of Mr. Biden and the White House to avoid the ‘serious ethical concerns’ that you raise,” William Pittard told Comer. “Mr. Berges hopes that you and Mr. Biden can resolve that tension.”
According to Pittard’s LinkedIn, his legal specialty is “Congressional and White Collar Investigations.” Pittard is a partner at a Washington, DC, law firm, KaiserDillon.
The art market is known for corrupt and shady practices. A Senate subcommittee report detailed in 2020 how the art market serves as a vehicle for money laundering.
“Why would anyone pay Hunter Biden top dollar for artwork that is arguably worthless? He’s no Pablo Picasso,” Comer has stated. “Foreign adversaries, including China, have used transactions involving sham art sales to launder money & evade sanctions.”
Hunter’s art scandal comes as the congressman is probing into Hunter for violations, including wire fraud and money laundering. Those investigations have caused Comer to seek Hunter’s bank records in which 150 suspicious wire transfers have been flagged by U.S. banks regarding Biden family business deals in foreign nations, such as China.

The Democrat playbook is always the same

As the media and other Democrats say they want to unite the country, we see a rather unique way of achieving that "unity."
(GAMER LAWYER) Obama said we cling to our religion and guns.
(GAMER LAWYER) Biden and others compared Tea Party members who wanted smaller government and lower taxes to domestic terrorists.
(GAMER LAWYER) Hillary called us deplorable, xenophobes, homophobes, and whatever other phobe she could think of.
Parents who dared to have a say in their children's education were compared to domestic terrorists.
We are frequently referred to as "right-wing extremists."
Republicans who question an election where many states broke their laws, where there was ballot-harvesting, and where the media, the FBI, intelligence officials, and other Democrats buried the truth about Biden family corruption are called election deniers and election liars.
Biden said that Blacks who don't vote for him "ain't Black." Who knew that all Blacks were supposed to think alike?
People who tell the truth that the climate has always changed cyclically and naturally are called climate change deniers and anti-science.
Liz Cheney calls us sick.
If you challenged the unscientific rhetoric and dictatorial edicts — including the vaccine — on COVID, you were said to want people to die.
Biden called us semi-fascists. (My guess is he has no idea what that definition would be.)
And of course we are consistently called "racists" and "really stupid[.]"
Democrats sure as heck don't want to campaign on their extreme policy objectives, so they resort to name-calling. Here is a partial list of their radically unpopular policies:
Higher taxes. The government is already collecting record revenue from the taxpayers, so it is detrimental to raise rates.
More regulations. Trump's policies were lifting all boats — we had energy independence, poverty hit record lows, and we had low inflation. Democrats clearly don't care about the non-elites, or they would emulate Trump's policies instead of reversing them.
Destruction of the oil, natural gas, and coal industries. Democrats want to force the poor and middle class to buy expensive electric cars powered by flammable pollutants, but they put no limits on private jets, yachts, or the number and size of mansions the rich own. It is all for show and control. They don't care about carbon footprints if you're an elite.
No right-to-work states telling voters they shouldn't have the freedom to be non-union, and point out that it's simply the prevailing wage laws that have been on the books for ninety years. At least be transparent and tell the public that the "prevailing wage laws" were passed to prevent Blacks from competing in a White marketplace:
A relic of an era when laws were passed to prevent blacks from competing for economic opportunities, the Davis-Bacon Act has racist origins [emphasis added] and continues today to have a devastating impact on economic outsiders.
Open borders. Brag that you don't enforce immigration laws and that your policies have made the cartels very rich with human- and drug-smuggling.
Soft-on-crime D.A.s. Make sure the voters know that you support no-bail laws to allow career criminals to roam the streets, terrorizing cities.
Sanctuary cities and states. Tell the voters that politicians in cities and states should be able to ignore federal immigration laws.
Forgiving student loans. Tell the poor and middle class why it is so important to forgive loans for college graduates who make more than they do.
Abortion on demand with no limits. Instead of telling the public they support abortion at any time and withholding care for newborns, they use the euphemism "reproductive choice."
They should be forthright about disproportionately targeting Black and Brown babies for abortion and tell the voters why that is good for minorities.
Maybe Liz Cheney should be asked if she thinks Democrats who support the withholding of health care from viable children are "sick."
Restricting gun ownership, and infringing on the right that "shall not be infringed."
Supreme Court liberals. Tell the voters that you support courts and regulators being able to make laws, instead of confining laws to the legislative bodies like the Constitution requires.

Federal control of elections. No photo IDs to vote, and pro-ballot-harvesting.
Men competing with women in sports and men sharing locker rooms with little girls. Tell the voters that you support Biden's dictatorial actions to withhold school lunch money from schools that don't comply. That you don't care if it violates girls' privacy rights.
Building up Iran. Explain why it is a good idea to help Iran when the mullahs pledge death to America and Israel and sponsor terrorism around the world.
No school choice for poor and minority kids, no matter how much it helps them.
Obamacare. Tell everyone that he should not have a choice as to what type of insurance to buy.
My body, my choice? Tell women that you don't believe they have a right to refuse a vaccine, and termination is reasonable if they choose to exercise bodily autonomy. Explain to them why that doesn't violate Democrat talking points that women can do whatever they want with "their" bodies.
Democrats support the most unaccepted policies and disparage all people with opposing thoughts.
Democrats are allowed to take kickbacks from foreign countries and abuse as many women as they want. All that matters to the media and other Democrats is political power at any cost.
Trump worked hard to return power, money, and freedom back to the people, and the Democrats worked hard to falsely label him as a dictator and fascist.
Biden and other Democrats seek to move the power and money toward the few political elites, to make more people dependent on the government — yet they pretend they are for freedom. They are the authoritarian party.

During Obama’s presidency, everyone joked that he selected Biden for VP because Biden’s incompetency insured that Obama would never be impeached. Yes, Obama was bad, but Biden would be worse. Now that Biden’s the president, that joke was 100% correct. Sadly, he’s multiple times worse than anyone imagined. Biden has more failures in one year than most presidents have in a lifetime – the Afghanistan debacle and surrender, huge crime spikes due to Democrat “defund the police” insanity, actively working to destroy the petroleum industry while supporting Russia’s, soaring inflation, open support and deference to China, and his weakness being directly responsible for Putin’s invasion of Ukraine -- to name just a few epic failures. As bad as Biden is as president, it’s obvious he selected Harris for the same reason that Obama selected him -- to insure he’s never removed from office. If you think things can’t possibly get worse, just look at Harris and you instantly realize – yes, they can. She would be multiple times worse than Joe.
