Palestinian terrorists seized dozens of Israeli civilian hostages on Saturday, holding some in Israel and dragging at least 50, including women and children, to Gaza.

The images and videos of women — and the corpses of women — being abused by Palestinian gunmen caused shock and anguish throughout Israel.

Most of these are too graphic to publish, and some cannot yet be confirmed. Some have been published by news wire agencies, with the identities of the victims concealed, as in the photo below.

Palestinian militants had begun a “war” against Israel which they infiltrated by air, sea and land from the blockaded Gaza Strip on October 7, Israeli officials said, a major escalation in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. One, however, was confirmed by CNN and others: a video of an Israeli woman, covered in blood and dirt, being dragged from the back of a jeep and shoved into the back seat by gunmen.

In another instance, a woman’s dead body was paraded on the back of a truck, nearly naked, under the boots of Palestinian gunmen as they shouted “Allahu Akbar!” (“God is Great!”). Her family confirmed that it was her.

As the Washington Post noted:

Tom Weintraub Louk, 30, told The Washington Post that her first cousin, Shani Louk, was missing after militants overran an outdoor dance party near Kibbutz Urim on Saturday morning.

As news of the attack circulated, family members tried to contact Shani, who is in her early 20s. “We knew she was in the party. She didn’t answer,” said Louk. Family members also failed to get through to her Mexican boyfriend.

Later in the morning, as videos of hostage-takings flew across social media, another cousin recognized Shani in one of them — in the back of a pickup truck, surrounded by armed militants. Louk has not been able to bring herself to watch the video, but Shani’s parents have. “We recognized her by the tattoos, and she has long dreadlocks,” she said.

The sight of women — and children — being abducted, killed, and abused will not soon be forgotten by Israelis — and will likely fuel public support for a war effort that eliminates Hamas as a political and terrorist entity.

Nolte: Joe Biden Blamed for ‘Funding’ Attack on Israel by Paying Iran $6B

His Fraudulency Joe Biden is facing justifiable fury over his likely role in the appalling attack on Israel that began Saturday.

As Newsweek reported:

Canadian journalist Daniel Boardman wrote on X that, after Biden allowed the money to be released to Iran, “now Hamas, one of the terrorist proxies they brag openly about funding, is launching a sophisticated and expensive attack on Israel. Foreign Policy matters.”

Bryan E. Leib, executive director of the group CASEPAC (Combating Antisemitism Everywhere!), wrote that “the carnage that’s unfolding in #Israel right now is a direct result of what happens when Joe Biden emboldens Iran. #Hamas would not be able to be operate if not for the $$ from Tehran.”

Right-wing broadcaster Mark Levin criticized Biden’s “appeasement of the Palestinian terrorists,” adding that the transfer of $6 billion “to the Iranian terror state, which arms these terrorists, contributed to this.”

Jake Wallis Simons, editor of the Jewish Chronicle, added, “Hamas is being funded and equipped by Tehran… which the US has been appeasing and enabling in recent months, as billions of dollars have flowed into the regime’s coffers.”

Republican Florida governor and presidential candidate Ron DeSantis also weighed in, saying, “Israel is now under attack by Iranian-backed Hamas terrorists. Iran has helped fund this war against Israel, and Joe Biden’s policies that have gone easy on Iran have helped fill their coffers.”

The following logic is not difficult to comprehend…

The terrorist state of Iran kidnaps five Americans. Biden then chooses the anniversary of September 11, 2023, to pay the terrorist state of Iran a ransom of $6 billion. This ransom payment comes in the form of releasing $6 billion in assets seized from Iran. So, Iran now has $6 billion it didn’t have before, and Iran funds Hamas. And now, less than four weeks after Joe Biden paid that $6 billion, Hamas is flush with enough resources to launch an unprecedented attack on Israel.

This would be like President Franklin D. Roosevelt handing the 1939 equivalent of $6 billion to Hitler three weeks before Hitler invaded Poland.

The militant Hamas rulers of the Gaza Strip have carried out an unprecedented, multi-front attack on Israel, firing thousands of rockets as dozens of Hamas fighters infiltrated the heavily fortified border in several locations and catching the country off-guard on a major holiday. Israel says at least 40 people have died.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared Israel was “at war” and called for a mass mobilization of army reserves. The invasion revived memories of the 1973 war practically 50 years to the day.

And that’s not even the worst of it. Social media is alive with videos that purport to show Hamas terrorists murdering and kidnapping Israeli civilians. This is a horror show that will likely make 1973 look like a skirmish.

The corporate media is already doing what it always does when Israel is attacked: blame Israel and protect Democrats, specifically Biden, by framing every criticism as “Republicans pounce.”

Somehow, the media will blame former President Donald Trump, even though, under his administration, peace was breaking out all over the Middle East.

Pray for Israel.

Exclusive: Tim Scott Blasts Biden for Paying $6B Ransom to Hamas-Supporting Iran

Presidential candidate Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC) in an exclusive interview with SiriusXM Breitbart News Daily blasted the Biden administration for paying $6 billion in ransom to Iran and enabling a main sponsor of Hamas, which launched a major terrorist attack against Israel on Saturday.

“When you see weakness in the Biden administration, you should expect aggression around the globe,” Scott told host and Washington Bureau chief Matthew Boyle.

“One of the things that we have been questioning about this administration is do they stand shoulder to shoulder, back to back with our allies, and the bottom line is when you pay $6 billion ransom to Iran, who funds Hamas, we should not be surprised,” he said.

“The people that pay the most immediate price are our allies in Israel. Five thousand rockets. Five thousand rockets shot at a nation the size of New Jersey. Devastating. We should be strong in our reaction, strong with our support, and clear on the malignancy of the Biden administration that’s spreading even into our ally’s territory,” he added.

Scott said that while the $6 billion that the Biden administration unfroze for Iran in exchange for the release of five Americans who were detained in Iran is not yet available, it still sent a signal to Iran that they would have it available soon.

The United States and Iran reportedly exchanged prisoners on Monday, largely completing a deal that also included President Joe Biden unfreezing $6 billion in Iranian assets that have been held in South Korean banks since former President Donald Trump withdrew from the Iran nuclear deal in 2018.

The United States and Iran reportedly exchanged prisoners on Monday, largely completing a deal that also included President Joe Biden unfreezing $6 billion in Iranian assets that have been held in South Korean banks since former President Donald Trump withdrew from the Iran nuclear deal in 2018.

“The $6 billion has not been accessed completely by Iran yet, but the fact of the matter is if you have a credit on your account for $6 billion, typically, people count that as access available today, tomorrow, whenever, so you start reworking your spending budget,” he said.

“And by doing so, you put yourself in a position to use that money even though you have not had access to it yet. So the $6 billion that they know they’re getting, they’re using already,” he said.

He said despite the Biden administration saying the ransom money could only be used towards humanitarian purposes, money is “fungible,” and Iran has already expressed it would use the money however it desired.

“That is clear. The way they want to is in funding terrorism against American allies,” Scott said.

Israeli Amb.: ‘This Is our 9/11’ and We Will ‘Change the Equation’ of Gaza as a ‘War Machine’ — ‘Never Again Is Today’

On Saturday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “Fox News Live,” Israeli Ambassador to the U.N. Gilad Erdan said the Hamas attack on Israel that happened on the Jewish holiday of Shemini Atzeret, the final day of the annual High Holy Day cycle, “is our 9/11” and “we said, since the Holocaust, where Jews were butchered and massacred, never again. And never again is today,” Erdan also argued that when Israel withdrew from Gaza, Hamas turned the Gaza Strip into “a war machine. We cannot allow this situation of Gaza as a war machine to continue. And we are committed, starting from today, to change the equation. We won’t have another 9/11.”

Erdan stated that while he won’t share military plans publicly, “[F]rom now on, we are committed to [using] every means at our disposal to restore our deterrence, and to exact from these animals a heavy price.” And “All options today are on the table. … This is our 9/11. We are committed to [changing] the equation, to shatter the old paradigm. These animals will pay a heavy price. And they will learn that these atrocities cannot be committed again against our civilians.”

He added, “[F]or many years we lived side-by-side with Gaza. We believe that it’s possible, even though, and I hope your viewers know that Hamas is a genocidal, jihadist, Islamist organization that is fully committed only to the annihilation of the State of Israel. They don’t want to compromise. They don’t want a dialogue. They don’t want to see the existence of the Jewish state. So, when we evacuated, when we withdrew from Gaza 17, 18 years ago, they took power. And since then, they use[d], exploit[ed] every square inch in the Gaza Strip. And they turned, basically, the Gaza Strip into a war machine. We cannot allow this situation of Gaza as a war machine to continue. And we are committed, starting from today, to change the equation. We won’t have another 9/11. And as we said, since the Holocaust, where Jews were butchered and massacred, never again. And never again is today, Eric, for us.”

Hamas militant group has started a war that ‘Israel will win,’ defense minister says

The Associated Press
The Associated Press

JERUSALEM (AP) — Israel’s defense minister announced that the Hamas militant group has started a war against Israel and pledged that “Israel will win.”

Following a security cabinet meeting at the Israeli military headquarters in Tel Aviv, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant warned that Hamas “made a grave mistake” in launching barrages of rockets into southern and central Israel in its surprise morning attack.

In one of the most serious escalations in years between Israel and the militant group that rules Gaza, Hamas gunmen crossed the border fence at several places and infiltrated Israeli communities.

“The state of Israel will win this war,” Gallant said.

THIS IS A BREAKING NEWS UPDATE. AP’s earlier story follows below.

The Times of Israel reports:

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu gives his first public statement on the massive attack by the Hamas terror group, saying the country is at war.

“Citizens of Israel, we are at war,” he says. “And we will win.”

“The enemy will pay a price like they have never known before,” he says, in his first public statement on the matter, some five hours since the start of the assault by the Gaza-based terror group.

There are reports of a number of dead and nearly 300 wounded as terrorists infiltrate a number of southern towns and thousands of rockets are fired at the center and south of the country.

JERUSALEM (AP) — Palestinian militants in the Gaza Strip carried out an unprecedented infiltration Saturday into southern Israel, sending fighters across the border and firing thousands of rockets into the country as the ruling Hamas militant group announced the beginning of a new operation.

The Israeli military put the country on war alert and began striking targets in Gaza in response, setting the stage for what was likely to be a new heavy round of fighting between the bitter enemies. In a serious escalation, salvos of rockets fired from Gaza set off constant air raid sirens as far north as Jerusalem.

Videos posted on social media showed what appeared to be uniformed Palestinian gunmen inside the Israeli border town of Sderot.

A video from Gaza showed what looked like the lifeless body of an Israeli soldier being trampled by an angry crowd of Palestinians shouting “God is Great.” Other footage appeared to show Palestinian militants dragging away an Israeli soldier, still alive, on a motorcycle and Palestinian men dancing atop an Israeli tank that had been set ablaze. The authenticity of the videos could not immediately be verified.

The elusive leader of Hamas’ military wing, Mohammed Deif, announced the beginning of what he called “Operation Al-Aqsa Storm.”

“Today the people are regaining their revolution,” he said in the recorded message, as he called on Palestinians from east Jerusalem to northern Israel to join the fight and “expel the occupiers and demolish the walls.”

“We must set the earth on fire under the feet of the occupiers,” he said, claiming that Hamas had fired over 5,000 rockets into Israel.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ‘s office said he’d convene his security cabinet for urgent discussions.

The escalation comes at a delicate time for his far-right government, as protests against the government’s deeply divisive plan to overhaul the judiciary have spread even within the ranks of the military.

Hundreds of soldiers in the military reserves have either pulled out of training sessions or said they won’t report for duty over the judicial changes, threatening to undermine Netanyahu’s reputation as a security expert and raising fears about the effects on the operational readiness of Israel’s armed forces.

Salah Arouri, an exiled Hamas leader, said the operation was a response “to the crimes of the occupation.” He said fighters were defending the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem and the thousands of Palestinian prisoners held by Israel.

The operation, coming on the major Jewish holiday of Simchat Torah, caught Israel off-guard, raising memories of the 1973 war in which Israel’s enemies launched a surprise attack on Yom Kippur.

The Israeli military confirmed Saturday that an infiltration had occurred in several locations near the Gaza border in southern Israel. It ordered residents to remain indoors.

“In the last hour, the Hamas terrorist organization had begun a massive shooting of rockets from the Gaza Strip into Israeli territory, and terrorists infiltrated into Israeli territory in a number of different locations,” it said.

Cities and towns in southern Israel emptied as the military closed roads near Gaza and millions of Israelis scrambled to bombs shelters while air raid sirens wailed overhead. In the kibbutz of Nahal Oz, just 4 kilometers (2.5 miles) from the Gaza Strip, terrified residents who were huddled indoors said they could hear constant gunfire echoing off the buildings.

“We are in a state of war,” said Kobi Shabtai, the Israeli police chief. “There is no other explanation.”

The army said residents next to Gaza should stay in their homes due to the infiltration.

“With rockets we somehow feel safer, knowing that we have the Iron Dome (missile defense system) and our safe rooms. But knowing that terrorists are walking around communities is a different kind of fear,” said Mirjam Reijnen, a 42-year-old volunteer firefighter in Nahal Oz, adding that she and her three kids have been too scared to leave the shelter even for a moment to use the bathroom.

Israel has built a massive fence along the Gaza border meant to prevent infiltrations. It goes deep underground and is equipped with cameras, high-tech sensors and sensitive listening technology. The infiltration marked a major accomplishment — and escalation — by Hamas.

The sound of outgoing rockets whooshing through the air could be heard in Gaza and sirens wailed in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem during an early morning barrage that lasted for over two hours. Israel’s Magen David Adom rescue agency said a 70-year-old woman was critically injured when a rocket hit a building in southern Israel. Elsewhere, a 20-year-old man was moderately injured by rocket shrapnel, it said.

The launches came after weeks of heightened tensions along Israel’s volatile border with Gaza, and heavy fighting in the Israeli-occupied West Bank.

Israel has maintained a blockade over Gaza since Hamas, an Islamic militant group that opposes Israel, seized control of the territory in 2007. The bitter enemies have fought four wars since then. There have also been numerous rounds of smaller fighting between Israel and Hamas and other smaller militant groups based in Gaza.

The blockade, which restricts the movement of people and goods in and out of Gaza, has devastated the territory’s economy. Israel says the blockade is needed to keep militant groups from building up their arsenals. The Palestinians say the closure amounts to collective punishment.

The rocket fire comes during a period of heavy fighting in the West Bank, where nearly 200 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli military raids this year. In the volatile northern West Bank, scores of militants and residents poured into the streets in celebration at the news of the rocket barrages.

Israel says the raids are aimed at militants, but stone-throwing protesters and people uninvolved in the violence have also been killed. Palestinian attacks on Israeli targets have killed over 30 people.

The tensions have also spread to Gaza, where Hamas-linked activists held violent demonstrations along the Israeli border in recent weeks. Those demonstrations were halted in late September after international mediation.
