New study funded by the ‘defense intelligence enterprise’ finds national security officials with dementia could ‘create a security threat’
Joe Biden has reached his expiration date, and the deep state is preparing to dump him in the compost pile.
In a newly-released study conducted by the RAND Corporation and funded by a host of entities related to the congressional–military–intelligence–industrial complex, researchers posed this question: “Could Dementia in the National Security Workforce Create a Security Threat?” Now who in the world do these researchers have in mind?
Let’s just throw out a hypothetical: Could a person with cognitive function so severely diminished that he regresses to a toddler-like state and poops his pants ahead of diplomatic talks, and gets labeled a “walking gaffe” due to his endless blunders, who also has access to nuclear codes and is supposed to be the commander-in-chief, be a threat to the safety of the citizens? Gee, what a stumper.
How many millions of dollars did we pay for this?
From the study itself:
[W]e believe that an increasing number of cleared personnel—that is, personnel who hold or have held security clearances—have or will have dementia.
This trend might be exacerbated in the national security intelligence workforces…
The exploratory research discussed … was undertaken to frame the issue, highlight the factors involved in dementia becoming a risk to global national security, and describe contributing risk factors; to propose a framework to assess risk; and to guide further study of this potential threat.
An insider threat is the potential for an individual to use their authorized access, intentionally or unintentionally, to harm their organization… An individual who holds a Top Secret security clearance who develops dementia and unwittingly shares government secrets is an insider threat.
The report also noted that dementia isn’t the only thing to be concerned about regarding the “trustworthiness” of our U.S. national security officials, and highlighted that an “adverse drug reaction” or conditions “such as a brain tumor or a stroke” should elicit the same skepticism. YOU DON’T SAY…
We’ve been subjected to Biden with his endless groping and sniffing, gaffes, and invented words; Dianne Feinstein who looks like a corpse and has to be told how to vote by her aides; Mitch McConnell and his freaky freeze-ups; John Fetterman’s opening “hi, goodnight everybody” debate line; Kamala Harris’s favorite dish, the “word salad”; and Hillary Clinton’s spontaneous trembling and Kuru disease-like weird fits of laughter. This is offensive, and the idea that this would evolve into “further study” is a sick joke. (Just one more brick in the wall, of the literally innumerable bricks of examples of wasteful government spending.)
Of course, we all know exactly at whom this study is aimed: Joe Biden. Just a few days back, American Thinker contributor Marcus Ebenhack penned a blog discussing his conclusion that “the deep state is through with Joe Biden.” Ebenhack rightfully inferred that when David Ignatius suggested Biden “should not run again” it wasn’t because that was an independent thought on behalf of Ignatius, but rather the deep state was ready for a new puppet. When you look at the study’s source of funding, you find the root benefactor, the “defense intelligence enterprise” or colloquially… the deep state.

But make no mistake, this is a seismic shift that represents a major crack in the deep state wall that has been hiding Joe Biden’s blatant and shameless corruption from the American people and electorate for decades.
Undoubtedly, deep state assets both animate (Ignatius, Barack Obama) and institutional (CIA, FBI, DOJ), are done with Joe Biden, and given the language of the study… probably a few others too.

Immigration: Mexico's government gloated triumphantly after a federal judge's injunction blocked Arizona's immigration law. But it's no victory for Mexico. In fact, Mexico's leaders ought to be mortified.
As radical immigration activists crowed with glee and the Obama administration claimed victory, Mexico's government joined the applause.
Calling Judge Susan Bolton's injunction Wednesday "a step in the right direction," Mexican Foreign Minister Patricia Espinosa declared: "The government of Mexico would like to express its recognition for the determination demonstrated by the federal government of the United States and the actions of the civil organizations that organized lawsuits against the SB 1070 law."
In reality, it ought to be ashamed. Supposedly framed as an issue of federal power pre-empting state power, it's hardly Mexico's business. But Mexico made a big show of saying its interest was in protecting its nationals from the dreadful racism of Arizona that its own citizens, curiously enough, keep fleeing to.
Espinosa said her government was busy collecting data on civil rights violations and her department had issued an all-out travel warning to Mexican nationals about Arizona.
That's where Mexico's hypocrisy is just too much.
First, Mexico encourages illegal immigration to the U.S. Oh, it says it doesn't, but it prints comic book guides for would-be illegal immigrants and provides ID cards for illegals once they get here. In Arizona alone, Mexico keeps five consulates busy.
That's not out of love for its own citizens, but because Mexicans send cash back to Mexico that helps finance the government.
Instead of selling its wasteful state-owned oil company or getting rid of red tape to create jobs in Mexico, Mexico spends the hard currency from remittances. It fails to look at why its citizens leave.
According to the Heritage Foundation-Wall Street Journal 2010 Index of Economic Freedom, Mexico's big problem is — no shock — government corruption, where it ranks below the world average.
That's where Mexico's cartels come in.
Mexico's encouragement of illegal immigration undercuts its valiant war against its smuggling cartels. The cartels' prowess and firepower have made them the only ones who can smuggle effectively across the border. U.S. law enforcers say they now control human-smuggling on our southern border.
Feed them immigrants and they grow more cash-rich — and right now, immigrant smuggling is about a third of the cartels' income.
Mass graves and car bombings are signs of criminal organizations getting bigger, and more powerful. Juarez, which has lost 5,000 people this year, bleeds because cartels fight over not just who gets the drug routes, but who gets the illegal-immigrant smuggling routes, too.
Aside from the cartel mayhem in Mexico, the bodies are piling up in the Arizona desert and U.S. Border Patrol rescues of abandoned illegals left to die have risen.
It's not the desert's fault, and it's certainly not Uncle Sam's fault, as activists claim. No, it's the fact that Mexicans are encouraged to emigrate. Criminal cartels don't fear abandoning their human cargo in the desert, as long as Mexico does nothing and blames Uncle Sam.
Hearing Mexico's government now cheer the Arizona ruling, which will only encourage more illegal immigration, gives the country's regime a pretty inhuman face.
If Mexico had any decency, it would do all it could to discourage illegal immigration and keep a respectful silence about Arizona.
It needs U.S. support for its war on cartels. Instead of insulting American citizens, Mexico should confront directly the reasons why its people are so desperate to leave, and do all in its power to destroy the cartels that are slowly killing the nation. That includes defunding the murderous gangs by halting illegal immigration.
Mexico’s President Says Biden Responsible for Migrant Surge at Border

Expectations created by President Joe Biden about better treatment for migrants led to the current border surge, said Mexico’s President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador (AMLO).
During his daily news conference, AMLO spoke about the ongoing border crisis and said the increase in migrants entering Mexico and heading to the U.S. is partly due to the expectations created by President Biden.

The statements come one day after Mexico’s military confirmed the deployment of 8,700 soldiers to curb the growing number of migrants traveling through the country.

Mexico’s president says he will share with President Joe Biden his willingness to find a way to legalize the flow of migrants from Central America and Mexico as a way to meet American labor needs.
“I have a teleconference with Biden on Monday and we are going to talk about that topic,” President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador (AMLO) said this weekend during one of his news conferences. “Let’s fix the migratory flow, legalizing it, to give guarantees to the workers so they don’t risk their lives, and that their human rights are protected.”
During the conference, AMLO said the U.S. would need about 600,000 to 800,000 laborers per year for economic growth. The Mexican politician brought up the Bracero program when the U.S. provided migrant farmworkers with permits during World War II.
The topic of the migrant workflow had not been previously discussed publicly by the Foreign Relations Ministry or the Interior Secretariat ahead of the virtual meeting between Lopez Obrador and Biden.
The issue comes as Mexican authorities see a dramatic rise in human smuggling activities as thousands of Central American migrants continue to make their way north. Mexican officials predicted a dramatic rise in migratory flows at the start of 2021 due to work shortages from the pandemic and recent natural disasters that shook Central America. Officials in Mexico did not publicly discuss the political effect that a Biden Administration would have on the matter.
Mexican authorities have found several large groups of migrants at hotels or being moved in tractor-trailers in recent weeks. Officials are also seeing a spike in ransom kidnappings where cartel-connected human smugglers hold migrants to further extort their families.

Speaker McCarthy Pushes for Full House to Get Classified Briefing on Border After ISIS-Connected Smuggler Found Bringing People In
House Speaker Kevin McCarthy has requested an all-members classified briefing for “all 435” members of the U.S. House of Representatives on national security threats at the United States border with Mexico after reports that a smuggler with ties to ISIS was found bringing people across the border this summer.
McCarthy revealed the push for the classified briefing for every member of the House during an exclusive interview on Breitbart News Saturday on SiriusXM 125 the Patriot Channel.
The push comes after a CNN report in late August revealed that President Joe Biden’s cabinet was warned in classified security briefings that a smuggler with ties to the Islamic State was found to be helping migrants sneak into the United States across the southern border. It is unclear at this time who exactly this ISIS-connected smuggler was bringing into the country and if those people represent a threat to national security. But CNN’s report noted that several top Biden administration officials were so “alarmed” by the revelations they included the classified information in a briefing to top cabinet officials.
“You have followed the border probably better than anyone but I have requested a classified all-member briefing on the southern border and the troubling reports because here we have a smuggler with ties to ISIS, we’re a week past September 11, we don’t know what is coming across this border,” McCarthy told Breitbart News on Saturday morning.
“In February, we caught more people on the terrorist watch list in that one month than we did the entire last four years,” McCarthy explained. “Now, we have no idea what’s happening. The cartels have taken over. We’ve got this CNN report and they said in this report that it was so alarming that this classified information was provided to the cabinet members in the Biden administration. You’re not hearing anything else about it. I said members of Congress need to be briefed, especially on the classified [information], to tell us what is happening on the border especially if ISIS is involved here.”
The CNN report in question said in its headline: “Smuggler with ties to ISIS helped migrants enter US from Mexico, raising alarm bells across government.”
“The FBI is investigating more than a dozen migrants from Uzbekistan and other countries allowed into the US after they sought asylum at the southern border with Mexico earlier this year, a scramble set off when US intelligence officials found that the migrants traveled with the help of a smuggler with ties to ISIS, according to multiple US officials,” CNN’s article reads.

While the FBI says no specific ISIS plot has been identified, officials are still working to ‘identify and assess’ all of the individuals who gained entry to the United States, according to a statement from National Security Council spokesman Adrienne Watson. And they are closely scrutinizing a number of the migrants as possible criminal threats, according to two US officials.
Though there is no evidence at this point to justify detaining anyone, the episode was so alarming that an urgent classified intelligence report was circulated to President Joe Biden’s top Cabinet officials in their morning briefing book. For some counterterrorism officials, it shows that the US is deeply vulnerable to the possibility that terrorists could sneak across the southern border by hiding amid the surge of migrants entering the country in search of asylum.
The incident kicked off a flurry of urgent meetings among top national security and administration officials at a time when Republicans have hammered Biden on the security of the southern border heading into the 2024 campaign. Staff on key congressional committees have been informed of the incident, according to two sources familiar with the matter.
McCarthy’s push for an all-members classified briefing is a significant development, because such briefings are something that only happens when there is a major threat to national security like a looming terrorist attack or something truly shocking and severe that administration officials brief members of Congress on behind closed doors. Asked to explain how big of a deal this is, McCarthy said such all-members classified briefings only happening where there is a “direct threat” to the security of the United States and only happen a few times a year at most. McCarthy argued that every member of Congress from either political party has a “right to know” everything happening at the southern border, especially given that he said U.S. officials have encountered people from approximately 160 different countries there.
“Classified is a different level of information,” McCarthy said. “It goes beyond what you’d read in the paper. The members are qualified to receive it—and to tell us the truth about what’s happening there. Only a handful of times do we ever do classified, full-member classified briefings, throughout the year. It’s usually a threat to our nation. This is a direct threat to our nation if you have somebody tied to ISIS bringing people across the border. That’s the problem with having a wide open border, not knowing what’s happening uncontrolled and letting the cartels take over. People are coming from 160 different countries. I think every single member should know the truth and know the complete truth of what’s happening. They have a right to know it all.”
McCarthy also said these problems are directly because of Biden and his administration, as they are the ones responsible for the changes in immigration law enforcement. Congress has not made any changes to immigration law since Biden took office, McCarthy said, noting that everything happening there is a result of the administration’s policy priorities done via executive action.
“No immigration law has changed by passing the House or the Senate,” McCarthy said. “It’s only the administration forcing the wall not to be finished where there’s a wide opening, even though we have equipment there and the materials to finish it off. They’re just paying rent and not allowing it to be put up. You watch the wide open border where they’ve allowed people to come through and give them a cell phone.”
“What we’re finding though is now every single city is a border city,” he continued. “You’ve got the Democratic mayor of New York City, you’ve got AOC yesterday being heckled in New York about securing the border. It’s not just individuals coming across. When you talk about 160 different countries, we’ve got people on the terrorist watch list from Yemen. Yemen is in the Middle East. Yemen has some of the most dangerous people we know of and they’re on the terrorist watch list coming across the border into California. Not one, but I remember in one month we caught two—not going together but on different days. Who are they talking to? What do they have planned? Why are they coming here? Now, we’re finding out we have people associated with ISIS and people who are smuggling them in? That’s what’s reported. That’s why we got to get a handle on this.
“Plus, this is where fentanyl is coming from — from China and now across our border,” McCarthy added. “That is the number one killer of Americans between the ages of 18 and 45. It’s reaching every city in America, all directed by the Biden administration.”
