TONY BLINKEN BIDEN'S GAMER LAWYER FOR PERPETUAL WAR - ‘Tony Blinken Is Either a Naif, a Fool’ or ‘Misinforming‘ About $6B Sanctions Relief for Iran: Victor Davis Hanson

WHO BENEFITS FROM BLINKEN'S WAR MACHINE? BLINKEN!

Biden’s new Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken,  is opposed to designating Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a foreign terrorist organization and imposing sanctions on it, even though The Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Iran established the IRGC explicitly to “strike terror into [the hearts of] the enemies of Allah” — meaning most prominently the U.S. and Israel — and to “expan[d] the sovereignty” of Islam across the globe. The IRGC’s “terror involvements” have included: “planning 9-11,” “murdering hundreds of American troops in Iraq,” promoting “Iranian nuclear proliferation and weapons delivery systems development,” and “providing weapons, training, funding, and logistical support to Iranian terrorist proxies.”

“Do they think we are that stupid?” Historian and Author Victor Davis Hanson asked Sunday, as the Biden White House tried to rationalize giving $6 billion to Iran, in light of Hamas’s attack on Israel.

“But the more it spins, the clearer its culpability,” Hanson said in a social media post Sunday:

“Does [the Biden Administration] really believe that the long-agreed-upon U.S. green-lighting of $6 billion in sanctions relief to Iran has had no role in Iran’s terrorist support of Hamas, whether psychological or material or both? Do they think we are that stupid?”

“Even a first-grader” understands that, if a terrorist state knows it has $6 billion coming, it’ll be more emboldened to send arms to terrorists – and that those who give that terrorist state the $6 billion are also culpable.

Unless it’s spent directly on an item by its initial owner, money is interchangeable (“fungible”), like grain or wheat. Once it’s given to a third party and mixed in with other dollars, it can’t be said that any particular dollar in an account was spent on one specific thing and another dollar was spent on something else, Hanson explains.

“In short, (Sec. of State) Tony Blinken is either a naif, a fool, or to use his words ‘misinforming,’” Hanson says. “These administration megaphones who deny such fungibility always end up mouthing the same arguments as the lying and murderous theocracy in Tehran.”

“And are we really to believe, as told, that resumption of hundreds of millions dollars in aid to the Palestinians was also not fungible and used to aid the current murderous agendas of Hamas?” Hanson adds.

Americans need to realize that, when it comes to the Biden Administration, actions speak louder than words, Hanson says:

“Americans should not listen to what Biden’s team now conveniently says, but instead to what it actually does in the upcoming weeks when it is under fire by its base in the new woke Democratic Party, as the Israelis have to go into Gaza, end this toxic death machine, and confront the Hamas global propaganda machine.”

“A hard rain is soon going to fall abroad. And the United States better get its house in order,” Hanson warns, urging the Biden Administration to:

  • Shore up the nation’s oil and gas supplies,
  • Secure its borders,
  • Un-woke the military, and
  • Recalibrate faulty and politicized intelligence bureaus.

“We the American people should demand not one more American cent to these Gestapo and SS killers,” Hanson declares in a separate Sunday post.

The number of people on the Terrorist Watchlist caught trying to illegally enter the U.S. through the southern border has skyrocketed since Pres. Joe Biden took office, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) enforcement statistics reveal.

Last updated on September 15, CBP enforcement statistics show that Fiscal Year (FY) 2023 set a record for the number of people on the U.S. government's terror watchlist caught trying to illegally enter the U.S., hitting 151 with two weeks to spare.

Based on the federal government’s fiscal year (October 1 through September 30), terror watchlist encounters have surged under Biden:

  • In FY 2017 (eight months under Trump, four months under Obama), there were only two terror watchlist encounters.
  • In FY 2023 (through Sept. 15), there were 151 terror watchlist encounters – an increase of 7,450% from FY 2017.
  • FY 2023’s count is more than 50 times higher than the three terror watchist encounters in Trump’s last full fiscal year (FY 2020).
  • FY 2023 is more than 24 times the combined number of terror watchlist encounters during the four fiscals years FY 2017 through FY 2020 (11).
  • FY 2023’s 151 terror watchlist encounters exceed the total of 122 for the previous six fiscal years (FY 2017-FY 2022) combined.

What’s more, an estimated 1.5 million illegal aliens have slipped into the U.S. without being captured during the Biden Administration.

Any illegal aliens on the terror watchlist among the 1.5 million “gottaways” are not be included the CBP statistics.

The U.S. Border Patrol reports that 0.0084% of all illegal alien encounters in FY 2023 were on the terror watchlist. If that rate holds true for gotaways, it would mean an addition 1,260 people on the terror watchlist have entered the U.S. without being captured, under Biden.

President Joe Biden’s decision to restore funding for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), an organization for decades facing accusations of fueling radical Islam and antisemitism in Gaza, attracted renewed condemnations in the aftermath of Hamas’s unprecedented massacre of Israeli civilians this weekend.

Hamas, a genocidal Sunni jihadist terror organization, unleashed a wave of violence across Israel on Saturday featuring thousands of rockets fired into Israeli communities and the invasion of residential areas by scores of brutal terrorists.

The terrorists slaughtered Israeli civilians, including infants and the elderly, and desecrated corpses, filming their gruesome acts and uploading them online. At a peace music festival, the jihadists opened fire on, beat, tortured, and abducted unsuspecting attendees. Israeli news outlets reported the discovery of the headless bodies of babies in communities ravaged by Hamas members.

Israeli officials have confirmed over 1,000 dead in the assault as of Tuesday.

Biden’s foreign policy, particularly his administration’s overtures to top Hamas ally Iran and its geopolitical partners, have come under increased scrutiny in light of the attack. Iran has for decades supported Hamas’s goal of destroying the Israeli state and a spokesman for Hamas told the BBC on Saturday night that Tehran directly supported the atrocities committed this weekend. In addition to failing to enforce sanctions on Iran, seeking closer ties to genocidal China, and lifting sanctions on Iran’s oil industry partner Venezuela, Biden faces questions regarding his support for the widely condemned UNRWA.

The New York Post observed on Tuesday, citing remarks from a State Department spokesman in February, that Biden administration officials boasted of committing over $730 million in American taxpayers’ dollars to the UNRWA – $680 million between 2021, when Biden became president, and early 2023, followed by a promise from Secretary of State Antony Blinken of another forthcoming $50 million this year.

“Since April of 2021, we have demonstrated in very real and significant terms our commitment to the humanitarian needs of the Palestinian people,” State Department spokesman Ned Price said in February. “We’ve provided over $890 million for Palestinians, including over $680 in humanitarian assistance for refugees in the region through UNRWA … When Secretary Blinken was in Ramallah, he announced another $50 million in funding for UNRWA.”

The State Department signed a new agreement with UNRWA in May setting the conditions in which Washington would continue to fund the program.

“The Framework includes multiple specific commitments to advance the Agency’s ability to deliver effective and efficient aid to Palestinian refugees,” the State Department announced at the time, “through strengthened accountability, transparency, and consistency with UN principles, including neutrality.”

The agreement commits UNRWA only to aspire to be neutral, however, in Israeli-Palestinian issues, and “communicate any serious neutrality violations to the United States in a timely manner.”

The “framework for cooperation” goes on to condemn bigotry generally, naming discrimination against Palestinians or Israelis and “Islamophobia” as particular concerns.

For much of its existence – and under Biden, the White House boasted last year – America has been the UNRWA’s “largest donor.” Washington cut the agency off, however, under former President Donald Trump in response to extensive evidence that UNRWA facilities, including schools, were indoctrinating children into hating Israel and Jews generally; that UNRWA employed vocal antisemites who used the agency’s platform to spread hate; and that UNRWA supports Hamas. Trump faced intense criticism from the left at the time for refusing to send American taxpayer funds to the U.N. agency.

“The Trump Administration’s decision to end U.S. assistance to Palestinian refugees is wrong on every level,” Nicholas Burns, a longtime diplomat currently serving as Biden’s ambassador to China, said at the time, calling the move “heartless and unwise.”

Refugees International accused Trump of “making life-saving relief to civilians hostage to politics.” NPR’s coverage called the end to financing “absolutely devastating.” Former British Prime Minister Gordon Brown resurfaced to claim defunding the UNRWA would destabilize the entire Middle East.

Yet years of evidence exists that, contrary to its claims of providing basic assistance to Palestinians, UNRWA has elevated pro-terrorist voices and indoctrinated children into jihad.

“Today, as UNRWA provides assistance in Gaza, it is directly providing financial and material support to the Hamas terrorist organization,” the Jewish Policy Center warned in 2007. “UNRWA does not seem to have a problem with Hamas’ Islamist agenda. It has not condemned the brutal Hamas violence that enabled the terrorist group to take the Gaza Strip by force in June. UNRWA waited to see who would win the battle, then immediately indicated to Hamas that it was eager to get back to providing its services.”

Video taken at a summer camp for children in 2013 revealed UNRWA teachers pressuring children to express hatred against Jews, celebrate terrorist “martyrs,” and embrace violence.

“Isn’t it true that the Jews are the wolf? What did the Jews do to us?” a teacher asks children in the video. “They expelled us into exile from out lands! They shot at us and they killed our parents.”

In 2017, the non-governmental organization U.N. Watch published a report documenting antisemitism and open incitements to acts of terror on dozens of Facebook accounts run by UNRWA employees. Among the offending posts documented were writings celebrating Hamas terrorist “martyrs” and praising Adolf Hitler.

U.N. Watch updated its investigation into UNRWA in March in a joint project with the research firm Institute for Monitoring Peace and Cultural Tolerance in School Education (IMPACT-se), finding that the agency’s schools “regularly call to murder Jews, and create teaching materials that glorify terrorism, encourage martyrdom, demonize Israelis and incite antisemitism.

Iran and the Cult of the Mahdi

The current conflict between the Jewish State and the Muslims of Gaza is in no small part fueled by the tenets of Islam. Islam hates Jews. It hates Christians. It hates Baha’i. It hates… come to think of it, all non-Muslims. Non-Muslim Muslim apologists beware -- you're next, even if you are too stupid and naïve to see it coming.

Islam is a cult. Cults are characterized by:

  • Absolute authoritarianism without accountability.
  • Zero tolerance for criticism or questions.
  • Unreasonable fears about the outside world that often involve evil conspiracies and persecutions
  • A belief that former followers are always wrong for leaving and there is never a legitimate reason for anyone else to leave (apostacy is punishable by death).
  • Followers feeling they are never able to be “good enough” (Muhammed is considered the “perfect man” and is to be emulated).
  • A belief that the leader is right at all times (Muhammed is considered inerrant).
  • A belief that the leader is the exclusive means of knowing “truth” or giving validation.

That said, there is reason to consider another factor at work in the current war in Israel – the 12th Imam.

Briefly, there are two major groups of madmen/women in Islam -- the Sunni and the Shia. The schism between them started upon the death of Muhammed. It was contested succession of leadership that resulted in a split.

Sunni Islam is the largest branch of Islam, comprising the majority of Muslims worldwide. Its name "Sunni" is derived from the Arabic word "Ahl al-Sunnah wa-l-Jama'ah," which means "People of the Sunnah and the Community." Sunnis believe in following the path (sunnah) of the Prophet Muhammad and the consensus (ijma) of the Muslim community. The Sunni branch originated from the early Muslim community's acceptance of the first four caliphs (successors) following the death of the Prophet Muhammad.

Shia Islam's origins can be traced to a belief in the rightful leadership of Ali, the cousin and son-in-law of the Prophet Muhammad. Shiites believe that Ali should have been the immediate successor to the Prophet, as they argue that he was divinely appointed. They also believe in a line of twelve Imams, with the twelfth Imam being in occultation and expected to return as the Mahdi.

Iran is ruled by a Shia Muslim theocracy. The Shia believe in the existence of the 12th Imam. He is a big deal to them. The primary mission of the Mahdi is to establish justice on Earth. It is believed that he will rectify the widespread oppression and tyranny that will exist before his appearance. He will uphold the principles of righteousness and fairness. The Mahdi will reform society by eradicating corruption, eliminating social inequalities, and ensuring that Islamic principles are followed in all aspects of life

To paraphrase BLM and other racists, “No Islam, no peace.”

Who is this Mahdi character?

The Twelfth Imam, Muhammad al-Mahdi, is believed to have been born in present-day Iraq in the 9th century CE as the last in the line of successors to the Prophet Muhammad. Shiites believe he went into occultation, or hiding, in 941 CE and still exists but in concealment from the world. This hidden imam is known as the Mahdi or "Guided One." The Twelfth Imam will reveal himself again as the Mahdi, along with Jesus, to bring justice to the world, defeating evil and establishing Islam as the global faith before the Day of Judgment.

Shiites believe the Mahdi's eventual reappearance is inevitable and he will rule justly over the Islamic community, or ummah, for several years before the end times.

Tradition states that even in hiding, the Twelfth Imam can communicate with and guide devotees through appointed intermediaries called “Gates.” Devotion and obedience to the Hidden Imam became a foundational belief in Shia Islam starting in the 10th century, though the Mahdi concept exists in Sunni Islam as well.

Belief in the messianic return of the Twelfth Imam distinguishes Shia from Sunni Islam and influences Iranian national identity and politics, including the ideology of its Islamic Revolution.

The Twelfth Imam is a central eschatological figure in Shia theology whose future return marks a turning point in human history as understood in Islamic scripture and tradition.

In Shia Islamic belief, there are various signs and events that will precede and provoke the Twelfth Imam (or Hidden Imam) to reveal himself as the Mahdi. Some of the main events believed to bring about his return include:

  • Widespread injustice and oppression in the world. The Mahdi will arise when the world is full of tyrannical rule and injustice.
  • The invasion of the Arabian peninsula. The Mahdi will return shortly after foreign armies invade the holy cities of Mecca and Medina.
  • Reappearance of Sufyani. The Sufyani is an evil tyrant whose appearance is one of the biggest signs of the Imam Mahdi's imminent return.
  • Murder of a pure soul. The death of a profoundly pious believer is said to be a catalyst that prompts the Hidden Imam's return.
  • Revolt led by a descendant of the Prophet. The rise of revolts led by Hasan ibn Ali, a descendant of Muhammad, will be a major signal.
  • Astronomical signs. Natural events involving eclipses of the sun and moon occurring during the holy month of Ramadan are also believed to be important omens.
  • Chaos and war between Muslims. Widespread conflict, violence, and instability in the Muslim world is a precursor to the Twelfth Imam's advent.
  • A far-reaching call from the East. Some believe a literal cry will call out from Mashhad in Iran summoning the Mahdi.

Shiites believe once enough of these disruptive events transpire, the Twelfth Imam will finally reappear on earth to restore justice as Islam's messianic savior. However, the exact timing remains ambiguous.

From an analysis of Shia Islamic eschatology, it does seem plausible that a world war could potentially be seen as one of the preconditions or signs that is expected to precede the return of the Twelfth Imam as the prophesied Mahdi.

Consider the following:

The predictions state the Mahdi will come during a time of widespread conflict and unrest among both Muslims and the greater world. A world war that engulfs many nations could align with this. Major wars are often accompanied by death and injustice on a large scale, other precursors to the Mahdi's return.

However, some scholars state localized regional wars may play a bigger role in the end times forecasts than a worldwide conflict.  Certain events like the invasion of the Arabian peninsula's holy cities are specific signs that may or may not happen during a world war.

Some experts argue that the Mahdi prophecies are vague and flexible enough to be applied to many types of major wars or crises. The conditions and turmoil of a world war could potentially be interpreted as fulfilling some of the general prerequisites for the Mahdi's advent.

So, what happens to the rest of us when the Mahdi is released?

In general, traditional Shiite apocalyptic literature tends to portray the establishment of Islamic dominion under the Mahdi resulting in the subjugation and conversion of Jews along with other non-Muslims.

The deal for Iran is that it wins no matter what. If it kills all the Jews, directly or via proxies, if fulfills Quranic prescriptions. If it starts a world war, it wins by paving the path for the Mahdi’s return.

No matter how this proceeds, as long as conflict continues, Iran can win -- theologically and politically.

Given that apparently Iran is just 12 days away from producing “one bomb’s worth of fissile material,” more Muslim mischief by these Ayatollah Mahdmen cannot be discounted.

White House Refuses to Freeze Iran’s $6 Billion

National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan refused on Tuesday to commit to freezing the $6 billion of Iranian funds that the United States unfroze before Hamas attacked Israel.

“You just laid out all the ways that Iran is complicit and facilitated it … is that reason enough to re-freeze the $6 billion that the U.S. helped unlock for them?” a reporter asked Sullivan during a press conference.

“We have not yet had a dollar of that $6 billion spent, and I will leave it at that,” he replied.

Iranian security officials reportedly played a key role in planning Hamas’s surprise strike over the weekend. Iran helped plan the attack and “gave the green light for the assault at a meeting in Beirut last Monday,” senior members of Hamas and Hezbollah told the Wall Street Journal.

The Washington Post confirmed the Journal’s report. Hamas planned the attack “with key support from Iranian allies who provided military training and logistical help as well as tens of millions of dollars for weapons,” current and former Western and Middle Eastern intelligence officials told the Post.

It remains unclear what precise role Iran played in terror.

President Joe Biden’s Tuesday speech about the attack notably ended without mentioning Iran. He did mention that Hamas took American hostages.

“We now know that American citizens are among those being held by Hamas,” the president said.

“I’ve directed my team to share intelligence and deploy additional experts from across the United States government to consult with and advise Israeli counterparts on hostage recovery efforts,” he added. “Because as president, I have no higher priority than the safety of Americans being held hostage around the world.”

The Biden administration’s mild handing of Iran comes as Senate Republicans demanded the Biden administration freeze the funds after Hamas attacked Israel.

“We write today to affirm our unwavering support for Israel, our greatest ally in the Middle East, and call on the U.S. Department of State to freeze the accounts in Qatar containing $6 billion in Iranian funds that were released from South Korean accounts in September,” 18 Senate Republicans wrote President Joe Biden.

“We must stand with Israel and restrict access to these Iranian funds,” they wrote. “Iran should be placed under the most stringent sanctions admissible. Anything short of this is unacceptable and only aids in the ability of Iran and Hamas to fund these heinous acts.”

Hamas Co-Founder Admitted Ultimate Aim of War on Israel to Eradicate Zionism, Rid ‘Treacherous Christianity’ from World

The ultimate aim of the Palestinian war with Israel is to conquer the planet, according to senior Hamas official Mahmoud al-Zahar, who admitted in a recently resurfaced clip that after the successful takeover of the globe, the world would finally be rid of “Zionism” and “treacherous Christianity.”

Speaking on Al Masirah TV, the main television news outlet run by Yemen’s Iran-aligned Houthi movement, Mahmoud al-Zahar, a founder of Hamas and one of its current leaders, made the shocking remarks, as reported in December by Breitbart News.

“Today, you could say that we reached a phase of deterrence, a phase in which we can defend the occupied land,” he said in reference to Hamas’ perpetual fight against the Jewish State, in remarks translated by the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI) which specializes in covering media in the region.

Al-Zahar, quoting the Hadith (the Islamic oral tradition), admitted that the war being waged against Israel is just one battle in the ultimate goal of conquering the globe:

When we speak about the ‘Army of Jerusalem’ and the ‘Battle of the Promise of the Hereafter,’ we are not talking about liberating our land alone, but we believe in what our Prophet Muhammad said: ‘Allah drew the ends of the world near one another for my sake, and I have seen its eastern and western ends. The dominion of my nation would reach those ends that have been drawn near me.’

According to the Hamas co-founder, under this new Islamic international order neither “Zionism” nor “treacherous Christianity” will be tolerated.

“The entire 510 million square kilometers of planet Earth will come under [a system] where there is no injustice, no oppression, no treachery, no Zionism, no treacherous Christianity, and no killings and crimes, like those being committed against the Palestinians, and against the Arabs in all the Arab countries – in Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, and other countries,” he said.

Hamas’s original charter, which claims that “peace and quiet” for Jews and Christians will only be possible “under the wing of Islam,” repeatedly cites the Koran and other mainstream Islamic texts.

Despite a revamped charter, al-Zahar clarified that his terror group’s new political program would not preclude Hamas from seeking to liberate all of historic Palestine, including Israel.

Al-Zahar previously claimed, in reference to the entire State of Israel, that “removing the Jews from the land they occupied in 1948 is an immutable principle because it appears in the Book of Allah.”

He also blamed Jews for having “corrupted” European societies.

In 2017, al-Zahar said the US, “which took an entire continent from the Indians, now wants to give Jerusalem to Israel and falsify history.”

“We say to the Americans, aren’t the Palestinians the Indians?”

He also warned then-President Donald Trump that once Hamas has “liberated Palestine in its entirety… we will shut down your embassy, and deport all the people of your kind.”

Claiming the United States would “suffer from the future geopolitical circumstances” because Islam would expand beyond all expectations, al-Zahar told Trump: “Right now, you are working for the Jews,” arguing that the then-president’s “own home is a Jewish home.”

Prior to that, he accused Trump of loving “Jewish money.”

“Trump loves the Jews, and not only because he likes the Jewish religion,” he said. “I do not rule out the possibility that he is a Jew.”

“He loves the Jewish religion, and the most important thing in the Jewish religion is Jewish money,” he added.

Al-Zahar, whose group is behind hundreds of deadly terrorist attacks, including the most recent one, also slammed the U.S. for being a “violent” nation, adding that wrestling matches were proof of it.

Calling on viewers to “see how the crowd reacts to the wrestlers, how it relates to this unnatural violence,” the terror chief said “that is their culture, their model for heroism: obscene language, obscene acts, obscene declarations, and obscene attacks on other countries.”

“That is the [American] culture and upbringing,” he added. “That is their true religion.”

He also said “sexual scandals” are the “belief” and “culture” of every American president and of the American people at large.

In 2010, the Hamas chieftain insisted that Muslims must construct a mosque near Ground Zero, explaining that Muslims worldwide are united in a common cause.

The resurfaced clip follows the recent brutal attacks that saw hundreds of Hamas terrorists storm Israeli territory and murder scores of civilians while taking dozens hostage, including Americans.

The Palestinian terrorist group launched the unprecedented terror attacks, which included the firing of thousands of rockets into Israel and the infiltration of Israeli territory by land, air, and sea, on Saturday.

As Breitbart News reported, many were young men and women attending the Supernova music festival in southern Israel where Zaka Search and Rescue confirmed its personnel have recovered some 260 bodies.

Since then, dozens of disturbing video clips depicting Israeli civilians — men, women, and children — being abused, kidnapped or executed have flooded social media outlets.

In one harrowing report, Hamas terrorists are claimed to have massacred at least 40 babies at the Kfar Aza kibbutz on Saturday, an IDF commander made public Tuesday.

However, more bodies are expected to be found.

According to the Israeli Embassy in the US, the death toll is nearing 1,000, with at least 3,418 injured.

Blinken: ‘No U.S. Taxpayer Dollars Were Involved’ in Iran Support of Hamas Terror Attack

0 seconds of 3 minutes, 20 secondsVolume 90%

Secretary of State Antony Blinken said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” that none of the $6 billion released by the U.S. for humanitarian aid in Iran was used to help fund Hamas’ attack against Israel on Saturday, which resulted in hundreds of deaths.

Anchor Dana Bash said, “While we’re talking about Iran, I have to ask you to, if you want to respond to what we’re hearing from Republicans who are over and over since this happened using word appeasement when it comes to Iran and they criticized the decision to unfreeze $6 billion in Iranian funds. I know and want to state that that money has not yet been unfrozen. Iran does not yet have it. But the accusation is that…your administration posture towards Iran has helped contribute to this. I want to give you a chance to respond.”

Blinken said, “Well, there are two things here. First, with regard to the funds that you mentioned, that were made available to Iran for humanitarian purposes. As part of getting Americans back who were being held or detained in Iran. Let’s be very clear about this and it is deeply unfortunate that so many are playing politics when Israel is under attack.”

He continued, “The facts are these, no U.S. taxpayer dollars were involved. These are Iranian resources that Iran has accumulated from the sales of oil that were stuck in a bank in South Korea. They have had from day one the right to use these monies for humanitarian purposes. They were moved from one account to another in another country to facilitate that use. As of now, not a single dollar has been spent from that account. The account is closely regulated by the U.S. Treasury Department. It could only be used for things like food, medicine, medical equipment. That is what this is about.”

Blinken added, “By the way, the previous administration set up a very similar mechanism so enable Iran to use its oil proceeds that were blocked in various places for humanitarian purposes. So, people are either misinformed or they’re misinforming and either way it is wrong.”

McCarthy: ‘Anyone Who Tells You that Iran Is Not Involved, They Are Lying to You’

During an appearance on Fox News on Sunday, Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) argued there was an Iranian connection to the terror attacks that unfolded over several hours in southern Israel on Saturday.

McCarthy was critical of his Democrat counterparts, noting the lack of rhetoric condemning the Hamas attack.

“I want to get your reaction when you first heard that Israel had been attacked and invaded,” FNC host Trey Gowdy said. “You are such a staunch supporter of that country. And as I noted, I mean that was the very first place you went, the very first trip abroad when you became the speaker. What was your reaction?”

“Well, it’s horrific because we’re used to seeing rockets come from Gaza, but this was much different,” McCarthy said. “This was from land, sea, and air. This had to be planned for quite some time. And anyone who tells you that Iran is not involved they are lying to you. We’ve never seen anything like this in 50 years. It’s very concerning to me because of the attack on civilians, on children, four Americans, as we know now, had been killed. Others have been kidnapped. But you’ve got to put this in perspective: for those who have not been to Israel, it is not a big country. And the population is about nine million.”

“So more than 700 Israelis have been murdered,” he continued. “That would be the equivalent of about 25,000 Americans getting murdered. And this is my concern. We have to destroy Hamas. This is a terrorist organization. This is not something that you have to go in and try to beat back. It has to be destroyed. And the concern here is the build-up to allow this to happen, the appeasement from this administration. But the shockingness of those on the other side of the aisle. Congresswoman Tlaib in May — she tried to have an antisemitic event. I shut down the room that she wanted to hold it. She called Israel from a terrorist state. Then the other thing that she recently did, she put out a press release today, literally saying part of this is caused because Americans provide resources to Israel.”

“And you know what?” McCarthy added. “The leader, Hakeem Jeffries, his comment was ‘no comment.’ Biden, the president of the United States, has not even condemned this. Neither of them have. This is an atrocity that’s happening in America itself, that they’ve watched a shared relationship, the only country in what we find the Middle East that has democracy, that’s been our greatest supporter, sitting and being silent about this.”

A FEW MORE REASONS WHY JOE BIDEN MUST BE DRIVE FROM ELECTED OFFICE AND PUT AWAY!

The Biden Regime Should Admit the Real Causes of the Jihad Against Israel

Twenty-two years after 9/11, the jihadis’ best friends are in the White House.

[Make sure to read Robert Spencer’s contributions in Jamie Glazov’s new book: Barack Obama’s True Legacy: How He Transformed America.]

When Hamas launched its latest jihad war against Israel, the Biden regime’s initial response was mind-numbingly predictable. At 2:58AM on Saturday, the U.S. Office of Palestinian Affairs tweeted in Arabic: “The US Embassy is closely monitoring the security situation as a result of rockets being fired from Gaza through southern and central Israel, including Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, and the infiltration of Hamas activists.” Yeah, “activists” with balaclavas and rifles, committing murder wherever they had the chance.

As if that weren’t bad enough, the same Office followed up at 3:24AM with an even more jaw-droppingly tone-deaf and wrongheaded statement: “We unequivocally condemn the attack of Hamas terrorists and the loss of life that has incurred.” Of course, the low-level Biden regime foreign service wonks who knocked together this boilerplate said nothing about bankrolling the attacks and making them possible. The wonks continued: “We urge all sides to refrain from violence and retaliatory attacks. Terror and violence solve nothing.”

In other words, Israel must not respond to the breaching of its borders and wholesale murder of its citizens. That would be a “retaliatory attack,” and would solve nothing. This statement was consistent with the stance of the Biden regime and American administrations going back years: after every jihad attack against Israel, no matter how brutal and bloodthirsty, the United States urges Israel to exercise the utmost restraint in defending itself, and not engage in a “disproportionate” response. The U.S. also would then urge Israel to make concessions to the Palestinian Arabs that would presumably pacify them.

This ignored the root causes of the conflict, which the U.S. government has been resolutely ignoring ever since jihadis with the same ideology as those who are fighting to destroy Israel struck our own country on September 11, 2001.

Media analysts are describing the latest attacks as a retaliation for Israel’s supposed desecration of the al-Aqsa Mosque, or for “settlement” activity, and all the usual half-truths, distortions and outright lies that characterize establishment media coverage of Israel. Ultimately, however, this is happening not because of al-Aqsa, or because of any “occupation,” since the “occupation” is a propaganda fiction anyway. It’s happening because of the Islamic imperative to fight Jews.

A hadith says: “Abu Huraira reported Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: The last hour would not come unless the Muslims will fight against the Jews and the Muslims would kill them until the Jews would hide themselves behind a stone or a tree and a stone or a tree would say: Muslim, or the servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me; come and kill him; but the tree Gharqad would not say, for it is the tree of the Jews.” (Sahih Muslim 6985) Read the beginning of the words attributed to Muhammad again: “The last hour would not come unless the Muslims will fight the Jews and the Muslims would kill them.”

So this is not a hadith about the “last day.” It is a hadith about the conditions under which the “last day” will come about, and how Muslims can bring about the “last day”: by killing Jews. The true believers of Hamas are busy doing it now.

In light of that, the Islamic State (ISIS) explains that Muslims’ struggle against Israel is eschatological, not political, although it acknowledges that analysts have generally missed this: “Most people have disregarded the Quranic characterization of the Jews and its aim. They have instead concerned themselves with a historical narrative of events, thereby deviating from the roots of the conflict.” These mistaken analysts, says ISIS, think that the Israeli-Palestinian conflict arose over “lands and possessions.” It asks: “Is there any pretext left on which someone can claim that the war with the Jews is not religious?”

This idea didn’t originate with ISIS. Many Muslim clerics have been saying it for years. According to The Palestinian Delusion: The Catastrophic History of the Middle East Peace Process, Egyptian imam Muhammad Hussein Ya’qoub made the same point back in 2009 when he said: “If the Jews left Palestine to us, would we start loving them? Of course not. We will never love them. Absolutely not. The Jews are infidels—not because I say so, and not because they are killing Muslims, but because Allah said: ‘The Jews say that Uzair is the son of Allah, and the Christians say that Christ is the son of Allah. These are the words from their mouths. They imitate the sayings of the disbelievers before. May Allah fight them. How deluded they are.’ [Qur’an 9:30] It is Allah who said that they are infidels.”

Another Muslim cleric, Sheikh Said Al-Afani, contradicted the accepted wisdom in the West when he said: “Our hatred of them is purely on religious grounds, and not because of the pure, sacred land, which was blessed by Allah, or because of Gaza…not only because of Al-Aqsa and so on. We hate them, first and foremost, because of their enmity towards Allah, and because they slayed our prophets.”

Abdallah Jarbu, Hamas’ deputy minister of religious endowments, on Al-Aqsa TV on Feb. 28, 2010, condemned on Islamic grounds anyone who wants to negotiate with the Israelis: “I condemn whoever believes in normalizing relations with them, whoever supports sitting down with them, and whoever believes that they are human beings. They are not human beings. They are not people. They have no religion, no conscience, and no moral values.”

It is because of such views that Palestinian jihadis rape, torture, and murder Israeli civilians and then celebrate having done so. It is the resolute refusal of the Biden regime to acknowledge the Islamic aspect of the conflict that leads it to continue to prescribe the wrong solutions for that conflict, and to pressure Israel when it should be pressuring the Palestinians. Twenty-two years after 9/11, the jihadis’ best friends are in the White House.

Secretary of State Blinken Joins Hamas Ally in Calling for ‘Ceasefire’

Despicable even for this administration.

It didn’t take long.

On October 8th, Secretary of State Blinken tweeted that, “Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and I spoke further on Hamas’ terrorist attacks on Israel. I encouraged Türkiye’s advocacy for a cease-fire and the release of all hostages held by Hamas immediately.”

As FDD’s Jonathan Schanzer, a former terror finance analyst at the Treasury Department pointed out, “Hakan Fidan was the intelligence chief who presided over the establishment of a Hamas headquarters in Turkey that included an active terrorist commander directing attacks in the West Bank, Saleh al-Arouri.”

Turkey’s Islamist dictator, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, is an open supporter of Islamic terrorism who had previously tweeted that, “Hamas is not a terrorist organization and Palestinians are not terrorists. It is a resistance movement that defends the Palestinian homeland against an occupying power. The world stands in solidarity with the people of Palestine against their oppressors.”

Fidan has welcomed and met with Hamas terrorist leaders.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan met on Saturday with a large delegation of Hamas leadership, including the extremist group’s leader Ismail Haniyeh and deputy leader Saleh al-Arouri, both of whom have a $5 mln bounty on their heads after being designated as terrorists by the US.

Erdogan also received the chairman of the Hamas political bureau, Ismail Haniyeh alongside the accompanying delegation at Istanbul’s Vahdettin Palace, according to state broadcaster TRT.

Hamas partly operates out of Turkey.

Several senior leaders of Hamas and their families now live permanently in Turkey, and some have received Turkish passports. In addition to engaging in terrorism, the Hamas officials have also established their own businesses. Ismail Haniyeh’s son, Hazem, moved his family from Gaza to Turkey, meaning that the Hamas head has transferred almost his entire family from Qatar and Gaza to Turkey.

Endorsing calls for a cease fire by a Hamas ally in the aftermath of the mass murder of Israelis is despicable even for this administration.

Biden the Weak: Too many dots to count

When all Biden’s policies and decisions of weakness are added up, the violent Iran-backed Hamas attack of Israel is easy to explain.

Let’s connect the dots:

  • Biden ignores follow-up on the magnificent Nobel-deserving Trump Abraham Accords as a basis for Arab-Israeli peace. Iran starts fomenting a slow undermining against the Abraham Accords.
  • Biden curtails American oil and gas exploitation just as Trump’s policies were leading to American energy independence.
  • Biden tries to appease Putin by supporting the Nordstream pipeline to weaken Europe and NATO
  • Biden botches his abrupt poorly-planned weak departure from Afghanistan against NATO allies’ opinion and that of his own generals.
  • Biden dithers about an obvious coming attack by Putin against Ukraine -- then gives too little too late for an outright defeat of Putin.
  • In a desperate attempt to reactivate the bogus and always flawed Iran nuclear deal, Biden gives Iran, the sponsor of anti-Israel terror, $6 billion along with other look-the-other-way appeasement.

Surprise! Hamas attacks Israel as other Iran sponsored forces like Hezb’allah gather for action in the region.

Biden will soon connect with the next dot -- his buddy in corruption, President Xi.

Once again, Bob Gates was right about Joe Biden

It is no secret that our former Secretary of Defense Robert Gates and Director of the Central Intelligence Agency was not a fan of Joe Biden when he saw him up close and personal as a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and as our Vice President.

Gates was present when then Vice President Biden urged President Obama, over the advice of the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, not to launch the daring raid that ultimately took out Osama bin Laden.

His famous statement in Duty: Memoirs of a Secretary at War:

I think he has been wrong on nearly every major foreign policy and national security issue over the past four decades.

...has continued to be remarkably prophetic since Joe Biden assumed office as president.

Having served in the Department of Defense both in uniform and as a government employee when Robert Gates was at the helm, I can assure you he was a no-nonsense and apolitical public servant with no axe to grind nor allegiance to a political party. He called them as he saw them and was known in “The Building” (The Pentagon) for his ability quickly to size up one’s character and ability as a leader, be it as a member of the military or as a civilian.

Which brings us to Joe Biden and the 9/11-like terror attack on Israel.

The current situation in Israel has the potential to quickly engulf the entire Middle East in flames.

It once again demonstrates that Robert Gates was and continues to be on target regarding the lackluster abilities of our current Commander-in-Chief Joe Biden in foreign policy and national security.

President Biden’s weak enforcement of sanctions against Iran and the recent release of billions of frozen assets of “humanitarian” aid surely served as the catalyst for the horror that Hamas is inflicting upon the people of Israel.  In addition, if Iran-backed Hezbollah enters the war, the very existence of the state of Israel could be threated and the United States will be pulled yet again into another conflict that could have been prevented had the Biden administration demonstrated more resolve against Iran.

From our disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan (not coordinated with our NATO allies) which left the Taliban in charge along with billions in U.S. weapons, to Putin’s invasion of Ukraine, prompted by our perceived weakness and resolve, once again Robert Gates has proven that he is not only consistent in his assessment of Joe Biden’s ability in national security affairs but clairvoyant as well.

Let’s hope for the sake not only our nation and  the world that President Biden gets it right for once before it is too late.

Blinken: We Have Reports Several Americans Killed During Terror Attack in Israel

0 seconds of 8 minutes, 50 secondsVolume 90%

Secretary of State Antony Blinken said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” that they have reports several Americans were killed during Hamas’ terror attack against Israel on Saturday, which resulted in hundreds of deaths.

Anchor Dana Bash said, “I want to ask about any Americans in Israel. Is there any indication that Americans were killed or kidnapped by terrorists?”

Blinken said, “Yes. We have reports that several Americans were killed. We’re working overtime to verify that. At the same time, there are reports of missing Americans, and, there again, we’re working to verify those reports.”

Bash said, “It does seem like this very coordinated attack came out of nowhere. I want our viewers to listen to what the U.S. National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan said just nine days ago.”

During an interview with The Atlantic, Sullivan said, “The Middle East region is quieter today than it has been in two decades. Now challenges remain, Iran’s nuclear weapons program, tensions between Israelis and Palestinians but the amount of time that I have to spend on crisis and conflict in the Middle East compared today to my predecessors going back to 9/11 is significantly reduced.”

Blinken said, “What Jake Sullivan said is right.”

Report: U.S. Weapons from Afghanistan Ended up with Palestinian Groups Operating in the Gaza Strip

A claim in a news report that American weapons seized in Afghanistan have ended up in the hands of Palestinian groups operating in the Gaza Strip has taken on renewed significance after Hamas, a Palestinian terrorist group, launched an attack on Israel on Saturday.

According to a Newsweek report published in June, an Israeli commander said some of the US. small arms seized in Afghanistan have already been observed in the hands of Palestinian groups operating in the Gaza Strip.

The report began recirculating on social media, amid accusations that the Biden administration funded Hamas’s terrorist attack on Israel by releasing $6 billion in frozen funds to Iran, the main backer of Hamas.

The Biden administration pushed back against those accusations that the $6 billion unfrozen for Iran went to Sunday’s attack, saying it has not yet been released, is controlled by a Qatari bank, and only will be used for humanitarian purposes.

However, critics of the Biden administration argued that since money is fungible, it is still adding to Iran’s coffers and frees up the government to spend on other things, such as supporting terrorist groups like Hamas.

Republican presidential candidate Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC) told Breitbart News in an exclusive interview on Saturday:

The $6 billion has not been accessed completely by Iran yet, but the fact of the matter is if you have a credit on your account for $6 billion, typically, people count that as access available today, tomorrow, whenever, so you start reworking your spending budget.

And by doing so, you put yourself in a position to use that money even though you have not had access to it yet. So the $6 billion that they know they’re getting, they’re using already.

He also noted that Iran has already expressed it would use the money however it desired.

“That is clear. The way they want to is in funding terrorism against American allies,” he said.

The Israeli commander interviewed by Newsweek also said he was “very worried” that U.S. and Western-provided weapons to Ukraine could also end up in Hamas’ hands.

Newsweek reported:

The Israeli commander, who spoke on condition of anonymity due to the sensitivity of the topic, said the diversion of weapons, such as the Javelin shoulder-fired anti-tank missile system, was being monitored from paramilitary forces operating on both sides of the Russia-Ukraine war.

The Israeli commander said pro-Russian formations were motivated to transfer captured U.S.-supplied weapons due to the close defense relationship between Moscow and Tehran, while pro-Ukrainian elements were largely motivated by money to smuggle arms. The commander said the primary route was via the Black Sea to the Mediterranean, and argued that the situation was “very dangerous” due to two primary concerns for Israel.

“One is that they can research capabilities, and then learn how to manufacture them. I’m talking especially about Iran,” the Israeli commander told Newsweek. “The other problem is that we are very worried that some of these capabilities are going to fall to Hezbollah and Hamas’ hands.”

Newsweek also reported that another source disclosed a specific event on August 20 where a Russian Il-76 transport aircraft allegedly dropped off cargo in Tehran worth an estimated $100 million, which included Western weapons such as U.S.-made Javelins and United Kingdom-made Next Generation Light Anti-armor weapons (NLAWs).

“The U.S. Government remains keenly aware of the risk of possible illicit diversion, and is proactively taking steps to mitigate this risk in close cooperation with the government of Ukraine,” a U.S. State Department spokesperson told the outlet.

“We are sending weapons to help Ukraine defend itself in an active conflict, and realistically must acknowledge that there is a risk these weapons could be captured if territory changes hands, as can happens in any war.”
