WHERE HAS THE BIDEN MAFIA STASHED ALL ITS DIRTY MONEY? - D.C. Prosecutor Shied Away from Partnering on Hunter Biden D.C. Tax Charges

U.S. Attorney for Washington, DC, Matthew Graves balked at partnering with then-U.S. Prosecutor David Weiss to bring tax charges in 2022 against Hunter Biden, broadly corroborating IRS whistleblowers’ claims Hunter Biden received preferential treatment.

“Mr. Weiss said that he had an investigation that he had been conducting,” Graves said on October 3 in a congressional testimony reviewed by Breitbart News. “Some of the charges related to that investigation needed to be venued out of the district, and he described the logistical support that he needed.”

Graves said it was “exceedingly rare” to partner with a prosecutor from a separate district. He said a normal situation would necessitate his office taking over the case or outside prosecutors would be granted special attorney status, enabling the case to be prosecuted in the D.C. jurisdiction.

“The challenge is — particularly when you’re talking about US attorney and US attorney — is you’re bringing in another chain of command. And once you’re partnered, you have to reach consensus,” Graves told investigators. “So, as a manager, in general, we don’t want to do that.”

“And on our end of it, if it’s an ongoing investigation, there is no way, whether it’s three weeks, three months, if it’s been a multi-year investigation, that we can get up to speed on everything that has occurred beforehand. So you’re kind of buying a mansion without an inspection, and whatever problems exist, you are buying those,” he added.

During a ten minute phone call in late February or early March of 2022, Graves told investigators that Weiss said he needed help arranging a grand jury in D.C., and Graves’ deputies expressed a willingness to facilitate the prosecution of the president’s son. Graves said he then instructed the head of the criminal division in the DC office to form recommendations about whether to partner on the case. On Mach 19, 2022, Graves and five or six staff members met to weigh the decision.

Graves said his office decided not to partner with Weiss after a review of case materials. “My understanding at a high level is, there was some interaction with the [assistant US attorneys] in Delaware. They got some case-related or investigation-related material. I don’t know specifically who the individuals were that they interacted with or what materials they reviewed or gathered,” Graves said.

“I think the best way of characterizing the decision was, we instructed — I instructed to say that we weren’t going to pursue being a local counsel on the case,” Graves said. “Could I have told him, ‘No, we’re not going to support you, I’m not going to make my grand jury available’? I mean, I never considered it, but I guess I could’ve told him ‘no.’”

According to Weiss, it is common practice for prosecutors to request a partnership on a case outside of respective districts, contradicting Graves. “Common Departmental practice is to contact the United States Attorney’s Office for the district in question and determine whether it wants to partner on the case,” Weiss told House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) in June.

Attorney General Merrick Garland maintains that now-special counsel David Weiss had full authority to charge Hunter Biden in any jurisdiction he chose. “He was given complete authority to make all decisions on his own,” he said in June.

Graves defended Garland’s position: “As I understand the letters and the public reporting, he was given assurance by the attorney general, who heads our department, that he is going to be able to bring whatever charges wherever he wants to bring charges that he thinks are appropriate.”

“So, I mean, I can — this has never happened, but I can make all kinds of determinations I want to make on my own. If the deputy attorney general or the attorney general calls me up and says, ‘You are going to do the opposite of what you said,’ I am going to do the opposite of what I said. That’s the way the department works,” Graves explained.

Weiss investigated Hunter Biden for five years for tax, gun, and Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) violations. The probe came to a head when IRS whistleblowers alleged in April that two Biden administration political appointees within the DOJ worked to block charges against Hunter Biden for tax violations against recommendations.

As the investigation progressed, Weiss never charged Hunter Biden in the jurisdiction of DC. Instead, he formed a sweetheart plea agreement with Hunter Biden that collapsed in July under judicial scrutiny. The agreement afforded Hunter Biden the ability to plead guilty for not paying taxes on over $1.5 million in income in 2017 and 2018, receiving probation rather than jail time. In addition, Weiss devised a separate diversion agreement that gave Hunter Biden immunity from potential future charges, including a provision to essentially wipe a felony gun violation from his record.

Weiss indicted Hunter Biden in September on three gun charges after Garland appointed Weiss to special counsel status.

Legal experts expected Weiss to indict the president’s son with tax violations in the near future.

Breitbart’s Marlow: Burisma Bribery Just the Beginning, Biden Family ‘Doing Deals in at Least Half a Dozen Countries’

Breitbart News editor-in-chief Alex Marlow, author of Breaking Biden: Exposing the Hidden Forces and Secret Money Machine Behind Joe Biden, His Family, and His Administration, said Friday on Fox Business Network’s “Kudlow” that Hunter Biden’s Burisma business dealings were a clear example of bribery and just the beginning of the Biden family deals.

Anchor Larry Kudlow said, “How about in terms of flying around and all the influence peddling, were you able to uncover any additional stuff on the Burisma issue and the bribery issue, you know, and maybe beyond what these IRS agents are saying?”

Marlow said, “I think the Burisma one is always important to come back to because this is the clearest example, easy to document of clear bribery where you’ve got a government policy that was altered, specifically in order to pay the Biden family some money. Hunter gets a million a year deal and Burisma has one request, Larry, one request, fire the prosecutor. They asked multiple times.”

He continued, “Joe does it and brags about it. Now we know thank to some FOIAs that the State Department actually thought the prosecutor was doing a good job. So we materially changed our government policy in order for the Bidens to make money. Clear as day, get the handcuffs out right now.”

Marlow added, “We know they’re capable of that and we know they’re doing deals in at least half a dozen countries that I document in the book. You have start from that premise. Once you start from there, they’re willing to do this and then you can get to a place where you subpoena Hunter and ask him, Hunter, what did you do for the companies? He’s never given that answer. I want to know the answer, what Hunter did for the companies that we’re paying him.”

FOIA: Over 29,000 Emails Exist Between Biden Family Businesses and VP Biden’s Office

The National Archives (NARA) revealed that more than 29,000 emails exist between Biden family business members and then-Vice President Joe Biden’s office, a Joint Status Report obtained by Breitbart News from America First Legal (AFL) revealed Tuesday.

NARA disclosed the record of the emails after ALF filed a FOIA request on August 9, 2022. The extent to which then-Vice President Joe Biden’s office communicated with Joe Biden’s family about its ventures was unknown before the lawsuit.

Breitbart News previously reported communications between then-Vice President Joe Biden’s office and Biden associates, despite Joe Biden’s assurance that an “absolute wall” existed between his family’s foreign business ventures and government business.

The Joint Status Report specifically revealed then-Vice President Joe Biden’s office had 19,335 emails with Rosemont Seneca, 4,243 emails with Hunter Biden, 1,751 emails with Jim Biden, and 3,738 emails with James Biden’s Lion Hall Group.

The contents of the emails remain unknown.

Hunter Biden’s Rosemont Seneca is a conglomerate of entities associated with Rob Walker and Devon Archer. The Biden family business received $20 million from Russia, Ukraine, and Kazakhstan linked through Rosemont Seneca, House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-KY) revealed in August from bank records. In total, nine Biden family members received payments from the family foreign business ventures, including two of Joe Biden’s grandchildren.

James Biden’s Lion Hall Group is also under Comer’s microscope. In September, Comer subpoenaed Lion Hall Group and JBBSR, Inc., because the committee could not identify “legitimate services provided by James Biden’s companies.” Those entities received at least 20 wires totaling $1,398,999 through Hunter Biden’s entities, according to the 2020 Senate Report by Sens. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) and Ron Johnson (R-WI).

NARA is expected to produce more information from ALF’s FOIA request. The Joint Status Report said NARA will continue to process 1,250 pages of potential response records each month. “[P]roduction would not be completed until August 1, 2029,” the lawsuit stated:

Thus far, NARA has processed potentially responsive records in this case at a rate of at least 1,250 pages per month and has made several interim productions to AFL. NARA will continue processing at least 1,250 pages of potentially responsive records each month, make each subsequent Presidential Records Act notification, and provide productions of any responsive, nonexempt records.

It is not ALF’s first time to compel NARA to cooperate with requests. In August, NARA divulged 861 records encompassing communications between January 2011 and December 2013 with the name of Hunter Biden’s company, “Rosemont Seneca.” NARA did not release about 200 related records, citing executive privilege.

On a separate occasion, emails released by AFL show Hunter Biden in 2011 involved himself in planning a state dinner for Chinese officials at the White House, just months before he traveled to China to begin forming the relationships to launch BHR Partners.

Through the “Super Chairman,” Hunter Biden formed the joint venture, BHR Partners, in which Hunter Biden’s company, Skaneateles LLC, held a ten percent equity stake. BHR Partners is co-owned by the state-controlled Bank of China and still boasts billions of allocated capital around the globe. Kevin Morris controls Hunter Biden’s stake in BHR Partners, Breitbart News exclusively reported in April. In 2017, Devon Archer conveyed his stake in BHR Partners to his wife.

James Comer Believes Barack Obama Knew of Biden Family’s Foreign Deals

House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-KY) suggested Friday that former President Barack Obama knew of the Biden family’s foreign deals with adversaries of the United States.

Speaking with Lou Dobbs on the Great America Show, Comer said Obama must have known about the Biden family business.

“I believe, Lou, that it’s because he knew what Joe Biden was doing the last year of his vice presidency,” Comer said in reference to payments worth millions the family’s business collected.

Comer revealed Wednesday that over the course of several years the family business received over $10 million from schemes in Romania and China in return for what appears to be influence peddling.

“He knew his son [Hunter Biden] was no good, and he knew this was nothing but a political liability not just for our country, not just for the democrat party, but for Obama’s legacy,” Comer added. “Because a lot of this happened during the Obama administration.”

Comer also believes Obama’s knowledge of the family’s business informed his opposition to Joe Biden’s 2020 candidacy.

“So, I think that’s why Obama didn’t want Joe Biden to run for president. I think they knew about this,” Comer said about the business. “And remember, a lot of these coverups would have happened during the Obama administration with Obama appointees in these deep state bureaucracies.”

Comer said an establishment media journalist should ask Obama if Comer’s hunch is true: “This would be a great question for Obama: Were you aware of what was going on with Joe Biden with respect to foreign policy and some of these ragtag countries around the world?”

At Least 5 Whistleblowers Come Forward Against Biden Family

WENDELL HUSEBØ

15 May 2023491

5:52

At least five whistleblowers have come forward to allege wrongdoing by the Biden family in connection with business schemes and corresponding coverups.

The whistleblowers are in addition to the multitude of witnesses that Republican members of Congress have interviewed behind closed doors.

The whistleblowers range from an IRS agent to an Obama administration stenographer, encompassing alleged corruption in Ukraine and Mexico, along with the FBI and DOJ.

1) Chuck Grassley: Whistleblowers Say FBI Has Evidence Joe Biden Involved in Family Business Schemes

Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA), who testified before the House’s new Select Subcommittee on Political Weaponization in 2023, said whistleblower disclosures indicate the FBI has evidence that Joe Biden is aware of the family business schemes, a statement that directly contradicts the president.

Grassley said the whistleblower disclosures “make clear the FBI has within its possession very significant, impactful, and voluminous evidence with respect to potential criminal conduct by Hunter and James Biden.”

It is unclear why the FBI has not acted on the alleged evidence.

The FBI is in possession of Hunter Biden’s infamous “Laptop from Hell,” which has caused many to dub the Biden family the “Biden Crime Family.”

2) Former Hunter Biden Partner Tony Bobulinski Meeting with Senate Investigators to Turn Over Information

Tony Bobulinski, a former business associate of Hunter, personally met with Joe and Hunter Biden in 2017 for an hour to discuss “the Bidens’ family business plans” for a Chinese energy deal. That deal appears to have never been finalized. The deal included ten percent “held by H for the big guy,” who Bobulinski said was Joe Biden.

“We discussed the Bidens’ history, the Bidens’ family business plans with the Chinese, with which he was plainly familiar at least at a high level,” Bobulinski told reporters in 2020 about the business meeting with Joe Biden.

Flashback: Hunter Biden Business Partner Tony Bobulinski Will Turn Materials Over to FBI

Bobulinski has handed over intelligence about the deal to former FBI “point man” Timothy Thibault, who reportedly buried the information.

He also has conveyed emails, WhatsApp chats, agreements, documents, and other evidence to a Senate investigation committee.

3) Ex-White House Aide: FBI Ignored Joe Biden’s Role in Ukraine Business Dealings

Former Obama White House stenographer Mike McCormick alleged in 2023 that the FBI has ignored Joe Biden’s role in the family’s foreign influence-peddling “conspiracy” in Ukraine.

McCormick, who told the New York Post he has relevant information implicating Joe Biden in the family’s business affairs in Ukraine, submitted a tip to the FBI in February. McCormick said he never heard back from the FBI — the same law enforcement agency which allegedly “shut down” the investigation into Hunter’s abandoned “Laptop from Hell.”

According to McCormick, Biden’s former national security aide, Sullivan, told reporters on April 21, 2014, on Air Force Two as an anonymous “senior administration official” that the United States intended to help Ukraine’s natural gas industry.

Unknown to the public at the time, Hunter Biden was already a board member of Burisma, a Ukrainian natural gas company. Hunter’s position on the board was not disclosed by the company until May 12, 2014, nearly a month after Sullivan’s statement to reporters.

4) IRS Whistleblower Says Biden Admin Interfering in Hunter Tax Fraud Probe

An IRS whistleblower alleged in 2023 that two Biden administration political appointees within the Justice Department are working to block charges against Hunter Biden for tax violations against recommendations.

In addition, the whistleblower alleges Weiss asked to be named as a special counsel in the probe to provide a degree of separation between the probe and Joe Biden. That request was apparently turned down.

According to the whistleblower’s attorney, Mark Lytle, his client wishes to speak with congressional investigators to corroborate his claims of political interference in the probe, which he has reported to the Justice Department’s top watchdog, according to a report.

5) Joe Biden Bribery Allegations Were Flagged to DOJ in 2018

Bribery allegations were brought to the Justice Department by a whistleblower in 2018 against President Joe Biden; but the allegations were ignored, a former federal prosecutor revealed last week. The second allegation of bribery against Joe Biden involves Hunter Biden’s board membership for Burisma, a Ukrainian energy company, the New York Post reported:

Bud Cummins, a former federal prosecutor, first reported the bribery allegations to then-New York US Attorney Geoff Berman on Oct. 4, 2018, in an email claiming he had evidence that Joe Biden had “exercised influence to protect” his son’s Ukrainian employer “in exchange for payments to Hunter Biden, Devon Archer, and Joe Biden.”

In the email obtained by John Solomon’s Just The News, Cummins said that Ukraine’s then-Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko wanted to travel to the United States to meet Berman, and could produce two “John Doe” witnesses to corroborate his claims about the Bidens.

Despite Cummins claims, Berman did not respond.

‘BANK RECORDS DON’T LIE,’ House Oversight Cmte. Says, Reporting that Biden Family Got Millions from Foreign Entities

CRAIG BANNISTER | MAY 10, 2023

“BANK RECORDS DON’T LIE,” the House Oversight Committee Chairman tweeted Wednesday, after the committee released a memorandum outlining its findings that millions of dollars were circuitously funneled from foreign entities to members of Pres. Joe Biden’s family.

“The Biden family used their web of LLCs & associates to receive millions of dollars from foreign nationals,” the committee tweeted, introducing a video clip of committee Chair Rep. James Comer’s (R-KY) press event announcing release of the 36-page “Second Bank Records Memorandum from the Oversight Committee’s Investigation into the Biden Family’s Influence Peddling and Business Schemes.”

“No services were provided other than access & influence. Our investigation is accelerating and @RepJamesComer will subpoena more bank records,” the tweet notes.

— Oversight Committee (@GOPoversight) May 10, 2023

The report reveals “new information investigators have uncovered regarding the transfer of money from foreign entities to the Biden family,” most of which was paid while Joe Biden was vice president, via wire transfers and routed through a third party, Rep. Comer explained in the press conference:

“Hunter Biden and his associates capitalized on a lucrative financial relationship with a Romania national who was under investigation for, and later convicted of, corruption in Romania.

“The Bidens received over one million dollars for the deal. And, 16 of the 17 payments to their associates’ account that funneled the Bidens’ money occurred while Joe Biden was vice president. In fact, the money stops flowing from the Romanian national soon after Joe Biden leaves the vice presidency.

“This a pattern of influence-peddling.”

The Bidens received more than one million dollars from 16 different wire transfers over a period of three months to at least five different banks, Comer said, calling it “inconceivable that the president did not know it.”

The memorandum says bank records refute Pres. Biden’s denials:

“In 2017 alone, bank records show President Biden’s family and their related companies
received millions of dollars from Chinese foreign nationals’ companies.

“This amount does not include payments from Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Mexico, Romania, Oman, or other foreign business deals the Committee is investigating; it also does not include any payments related to Hunter Biden’s interest in BHR Partners or Jonathan Li”

As the investigation unfolds, the committee will discuss how the Bidens received millions of dollars through the use of shell companies and wire transfers, Comer said.

“They set this up to be as complicated as possible, to make it as difficult as possible [to track],” Comer said Tuesday, in an interview with Fox News Channel.

The congressman said that he hasn’t seen even a single credible business sending money to the Bidens and that it appears to him that the businesses were “shell companies set up to launder money from foreign nationals into Biden family back pockets.”

“They’re going to have a lot of explaining to do” as the investigation continues, Rep. Comer said.

Exclusive – Alex Marlow’s ‘Breaking Biden’: How Biden Cured Cancer* with Ashley Biden’s Boo… Who Had Deep Financial Ties to China

*Contrary to his own claims, Joe Biden did not, in fact, cure cancer.

In my book Breaking Biden: Exposing the Hidden Forces and Secret Money Machine Behind Joe Biden, His Family, and His Administration, a deep-dive investigation into the Biden family and administration with an emphasis on corruption, I profile every key member of President’s clan.

Ashley Biden, Joe Biden’s surviving daughter, makes only a couple of important appearances. She avoids the press more than most of the other Bidens do, though she is occasionally tabloid fodder.

Yet like every other key Biden featured in the book, Ashley did greatly benefit from her father’s position of power. She did so via her husband, the surgeon and businessman Dr. Howard Krein.

Krein married Ashley in 2012, but in 2011, Joe Biden arranged a meeting for him in the Oval Office with then president Obama mere weeks after the founding of his business, StartUp Health. Krein is chief medical officer for the company, which he runs with his brother, Steven Krein. The meeting proved fruitful for the Kreins, who landed big business soon after.

When Joe Biden ran for president in 2020, Krein was hired by Biden’s campaign to advise the candidate on health care–related matters, including Biden’s cancer moonshot initiative. Yes, Biden has absurdly promised on multiple occasions that he is going to find a “cure” for cancer, apparently with the help of Ashley Biden’s boo.

(I have several oncologists in my family, and none of them have ever used the words “cure” and “cancer” in the same sentence, other than to point out Joe Biden’s political shamelessness. In other words, Biden’s claim that he can and will achieve this medical miracle is purely political and without scientific basis.)

From left to right: Ashley Biden, then-Vice President Joe Biden, Jill Biden, Howard Krien during an official visit to Singapore on July 26, 2013. (MOHD FYROL/AFP via Getty Images)

In 2016, Krein traveled with Vice President Biden to the Vatican, where the two met with Pope Francis to discuss the cancer moonshot. Krein also accompanied Biden on a trip to the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, a well-known gathering of rich and powerful advocates of expanding governments and supranational bureaucracies.

Meanwhile, StartUp Health began investing in businesses that allegedly supply solutions for COVID-19.

Bagging Cash from China – and the Chinavirus

StartUp Health is funded by Ping An, among other groups. Ping An is one of China’s largest insurance companies. Ping An made a killing during the pandemic. The company’s Good Doctor app, which allows patients to access medical advice online, rose 900 percent in January 2020 alone. Revenue surged soon after.

Krein and StartUp are linked to another health care company called Henry Schein, which scored a $53.4 million contract for personal protective equipment (PPE) with Biden’s U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

In May 2022, the White House listed Henry Schein as a company that has shown its commitment to helping to “vaccinate the world” and “build better health security.”
