When people enter America illegally, they should promptly be removed. If they make asylum claims, they should be placed in minimalist but safely maintained refugee centers that are economically sustainable and keep the illegal aliens out of mischief. But that’s not how Democrats operate. If you want perpetual political power, you illegally ship into the country people who will vote for you and be your foot soldiers, and you treat them well. The latest example is New York City’s plan to give illegal aliens $53 million worth of debit cards for foods that will not only feed them but will also assuage their delicate cultural sensibilities.
Mayor Eric Adams’ administration will soon start handing out pre-paid credit cards to migrant families being put up in Big Apple hotels, The Post has learned.
The $53 million pilot program, run by the New Jersey company Mobility Capital Finance, will provide asylum seekers arriving at the Roosevelt Hotel with the city cash to help them buy food, according to city records.
It’ll start with a group of 500 migrant families in short-term hotel stays and will replace the current food service offered there, according to City Hall.
The cards can only be used at bodegas, grocery stores, supermarkets and convenience stores — and migrants must sign an affidavit swearing they will only spend the funds on food and baby supplies or they will be kicked out of the program.
This $53 million must come from somewhere, and that somewhere is almost certainly going to be other social programs…programs that used to serve the city’s native-born black residents. Blacks across urban America are becoming aware that they’re being displaced as the Democrat party’s preferred racial minority. Coming in at barely 12% of the American population (a continually declining number), they lack the demographic heft to matter anymore for a party that’s set a course for permanent power.

What’s happening to the blacks was inevitable, of course. Conservative ideas are a rising tide that lifts all boats. A strong economy, strong national security, and safe communities benefit everyone, regardless of sex, race, creed, etc. However, as history has shown, Democrat ideas—which are now pure Marxism—don’t lift anybody. That’s because, as Churchill said, “Socialism is the philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy.”
When pure economic disparities failed to bring socialism to America (probably because of America’s former economic mobility), the only way to sell socialism was to divide society along “victimhood” lines, with the various victims arrayed against the existing social and political structure. The tactic worked. Today, socialists control the federal government, along with major states and cities.
However, to maintain that power, Democrats must play those artificially created victim groups against each other. Women have had to bow down to the so-called transgender crowd, and blacks are now being forced to yield to illegal aliens.
Of course, once members of the victim group feel their power, they’re hard to please. The latest example is that illegal aliens are complaining about the free food they receive. That’s not because the food is inedible (rotten, wormy, etc.). They just don’t like it, to the tune of $776,000 worth of food thrown into the trash.
And that gets me back to the story about New York’s Mayor Adams creating a plan to hand over $53 million in cash cards to illegal aliens. It’s not about feeding them. Instead, a spokesperson for Adams gives the game away. The real reason is to pander to their offended sensibilities about the food they receive. Here’s the New York Post again (emphasis mine):
“Not only will this provide families with the ability to purchase fresh food for their culturally relevant diets and the baby supplies of their choosing, but the pilot program is expected to save New York City more than $600,000 per month, or more than $7.2 million annually,” Adams spokesperson Kayla Mamelak said.
Whoever said “beggars can’t be choosers” didn’t live in a Democrat-run city that is playing host to tens of thousands of people who have no right to be here but who also know that they hold the real political power in the modern Democrat party.

Chuck Schumer Rushes Lankford’s More-Migration Bill to Senate Vote
Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) is rushing the Senate to a migration vote on Wednesday, ensuring little time for Senators or voters to understand the 200-page rewrite of immigration law.
“Will Republicans have an opportunity to speak as it relates to this bill and perhaps even modify it?” Sen. Todd Young (R-IN) asked reporters in the Senate after the rushed schedule was announced.
“The details are going to matter,” Sen. Kevin Cramer (R-ND) told Fox News. “Next week could be a quick turnaround [but] the thing about text — and why it’s so important in this context — is that the legal language matters a great deal,” he said.
Leaks suggest the bill seeks to reduce President Joe Biden’s 2024 migration crisis by redirecting yet more illegal migrants toward new legal doorways. The greater inflow helps Biden’s donors because the migrants inflate the nation’s consumer economy as they compete for Americans’ housing, wages, and aid programs.
Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (I-AZ), one of the three Senate negotiators, earlier admitted the need for great care in writing immigration laws. “Even the most minor change can have unintended consequences,” Sinema said in a January 29 tweet:
You’ve heard me say this before: border and immigration policy is one of the most complicated areas of American law … We can’t afford to make a mistake. The GOP negotiator,
Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT ) is demanding more time and cited a month-long study period when the complex 2013 “Gang of Eight” amnesty was introduced. “Common courtesy would suggest a bare minimum of … three weeks,” Lee said on January 24:
But Schumer said a few days are enough.
‘We plan to post the full text of the national security supplemental as early as tomorrow, no later than Sunday,” he said on Thursday. “That will give members plenty of time to read the bill before voting.”
Schumer is rushing the vote to Wednesday, February 7, partly because the Senate is out of session from February 10 to February 25. The two-week off period would allow the public to organize against the Democrat-backed, wealth-shifting, more migration bill.
Immigration law is designed to resist the huge pressure of foreigners pushing at U.S. borders.

Brownsville PD via StoryfulBut, like with a submarine, any flaw can allow a gusher of disruptive migrants to flood into the nation’s labor markets, neighborhoods, workplaces, and cities. In 2013, for example, the Senate’s Gang of Eight initially wiped out the legal foundation for a much-touted employment verification promise.
Moreover, Senators cannot understand the impact of the new bill unless they can understand the interplay of the new bill’s language with existing laws, regulations, and judicial decisions. The GOP negotiator, Sen. James Lankford (R-OK), said the bill includes a completely novel section of immigration law. Punchbowl News reported on February 1:
Newsy details from Lankford on border package: Biggest part will be the creation of a new border emergency authority called 235(b), which he described as “expedited removal, non-custodial.” This is also where the 5,000 number will be addressed.
“It will be one of the longest portions…because it’s entirely new,” Lankford adds.
Skeptics will want that section vetted by GOP immigration lawyers for possible landmines.
Any ambiguities will ensure lengthy lawsuits by rival lawyers that the U.S. Supreme Court may try to dodge.
For example, there are four current lawsuits over the legality of Biden’s decision to import more than one million migrants via the little-known “parole” side door for emergency cases. The suits say that Biden’s parole releases violate the 1996 update to the parole law that says parole must only be given on a case-by-case basis for “urgent humanitarian reasons” or “significant public benefit.”
Similarly, Congress overwhelmingly passed a 2008 bill to help foreign children who were trafficked by criminals into the United States. But the William Wilberforce Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act of 2008 created the vast “Unaccompanied Alien Children” (UAC) doorway.
The doorway was quickly used by smugglers, illegal migrants, U.S. employers, labor brokers, and cartels to vastly expand the indentured child labor business in the United States.

He is 13,” said the photo captions in the New York Times 2023 articles about the Congress-enabled commercial abuse of children.
The inflow of roughly 500,000 child migrants from 2008 to 2020 has been augmented by another 480,000 children, youths, and youthful-looking adults during Biden’s term.
The millionth UAC will likely walk through the 2008 loophole this month, marking another family separation caused by the economic incentives of U.S. border rules.
Biden’s vast migrant inflow has suppressed wages, spiked housing costs, cracked public support for migration, expanded chaotic diversity, and minimized elite concerns for sidelined Americans, — all while boosting Wall Street.
Unsurprisingly, this migration-based economic policy is very unpopular — and is likely the biggest threat to Biden’s reelection campaign.

Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) will jam the Senate next week with the long-awaited migration-expanding border plan – with tens of billions in Ukraine aid to boot – he announced Thursday.
The public has not yet seen the details of the legislation, and will have little time to examine the extraordinary implications of the deal before their Senators vote.
Schumer said the text will be revealed by Sunday with procedural measures setting up the bill’s pathway through the Senate beginning Monday, enabling a possible vote on final passage by the end of the week.
The rushed schedule is no surprise. Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (I-AZ), one of three lead negotiators, has said she wants to rush the deal through the Senate before the public can react.
This week Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) ushered a resolution through the Senate Republican Conference to ensure Senators had at least two to three weeks to review any deal.
Notably, Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), perhaps Washington’s most fervent admirer of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and proponent of military, humanitarian, and economic aid to Ukraine, voted against Lee’s resolution.

Four illegal aliens charged with assaulting New York Police Department (NYPD) officers in a violent mob attack may have fled to the sanctuary state of California after Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg (D), linked to billionaire George Soros, fought to get them released from jail without paying bail.
As Breitbart News has chronicled, a gang of illegal aliens outside of a midtown Manhattan migrant shelter — funded by taxpayers — were caught on camera brutally attacking NYPD officers. Since then, seven illegal aliens have been arrested, while five illegal aliens are wanted.
NYPD / BODY CAMS+ /TMXIllegal aliens Jhoan Boada, 22 years old, Kelvin Servita Arocha, 19 years old, Wilson Juarez, 21 years old, Darwin Andres Gomez-Izquiel, 19 years old, and Yorman Reveron, 24 years old, were all released from jail without having to pay a dime in bail.
The illegal aliens were released from jail partially thanks to Bragg’s office not requesting the judge hold them on bail despite the felony charges against them. New York’s bail reform law ensures that suspects charged with nonviolent and many violent crimes are not held in jail on bail before trial.

Boada was captured by cameras leaving the jail this week, flipping his middle fingers, laughing, and saying “I didn’t do nothing.”
Only Yohenry Brito, a 24-year-old illegal alien, has been held in jail on a $15,000 bail. Jandry Barros, a 21-year-old illegal alien, was initially arrested by Bragg’s office, which has since declined to prosecute him.
NYPD officials now believe that four of the five illegal aliens freed from jail — Servita Arocha, Juarez, Gomez-Izquiel, and Reveron — are headed to Calexico, California, a border town in the sanctuary state.
“This was a bail-eligible offense, why bail wasn’t asked for, we don’t have an answer for that, but the judge also had an opportunity to step in and remand them to Rikers [Island] — now these four are on a bus, the whole system needs to be looked at,” NYPD Chief of Patrol John Chell told ABC7 New York.
According to NYPD officials, the four illegal aliens gave fake names to a non-governmental organization (NGO) that provides one-way bus rides to border crossers wanting to leave New York City.
“They have a court date, so if they don’t come back for the court date, the judge will issue a bench warrant for them, but until that time, no, they are free to do what they want,” Chell told ABC7 New York of the illegal aliens skipping town.
Bragg has only been in office since the beginning of 2022, having run on a promise to not prosecute suspects for marijuana misdemeanors, turnstile jumping, trespassing, driving with a suspended license, prostitution, resisting arrest for non-criminal offenses, and obstructing the work of the NYPD.
Though the establishment media has sought to distance Bragg from Soros, the far-left prosecutor enjoyed major support from the Color of Change PAC in his 2021 bid. Soros gave the PAC some $1 million at the time and Soros’s relatives donated directly to Bragg.
