A GLIMPSE OF THE MEX ECONOMY - An American Sees, Speaks AND DOES SOMETHING!

THE TAX- FREE MEX UNDERGROUND ECONOMY IN LOS ANGELES COUNTY ALONE IS CALCULATED TO BE $2 BILLION A YEAR. THIS SAME COUNTY PAYS OUT $600 MILLION A YEAR IN WELFARE TO ILLEGALS!

READER OF THE WASHINGTON POST WRITES:

I know an illegal making over $2,000 a week at an auto upholstery shop. That's over 100K yearly! How many of our college-grad teachers earn that much? Most Americans DON'T.

And he told me he sends almost 90 percent of his paycheck home to his family in Mexico City, while living here with a "girlfriend" collecting welfare and food stamps.

Plus, he conserves his paycheck further by getting "free" food, clothing, etc. from taxpayer-funded agencies and church donations intended for our own needy people.

It appears that Pelosi isn't as clueless and out-of-touch as many of us thought ... at least not as far as being aware that she needs to do something to be re-elected.

But how can she justify her position on trying to give amnesty and everything else [even a Dream Act to go to college for Chrissakes!] to the over 20 million illegals in the U.S., so as to encourage them to invite all their extended family members and job-stealing amigos to come here too?

Pelosi sends mixed signals to those she is supposed to be serving, by instead serving the interests of foreign nationals here illegally.

How can the Democrats claim in good faith that they are truly concerned about our country's economy as long as they are trying to do things that wreak havoc upon it?

He even got one taxpayer-funded Latin Community group to pay for his CELLPHONE! So he can stay in touch with his family.

The illegal alien's name is Ruben. And that car upholstery shop has a "phantom workforce" to supplement its legally employed workforce, which is all they report for tax purposes. Ruben's brother also works there.

Here's how he gets paid: If the shop charges a customer $1500 to re-upholster car seats, and it only takes Ruben 3 hours to do it, he gets HALF. So he gets paid about $250 per hour. And both Ruben and the shop are quite happy with their arrangement.

I reported it, giving the name and location of the shop, to my Democrat federal senator's office, asking them to investigate and prosecute. But they ignored my request... which is typical of most Democrats and many Republicans in Congress. For they are deliberately turning a blind eye to it.

This is far from an isolated example. Illegals are not only stealing high-paying skilled blue-collar type jobs, but also many illegals own their own businesses [construction, home improvement, landscaping, auto repair, roofing, paving, janitorial services, housekeeping, etc., etc.].

Next time you're in Home Depot or Lowes, look for illegals there getting supplies for their plumbing jobs, etc.

I have a friend who tried starting a janitorial services business. But he gave up after a few months, telling me he couldn't compete with illegals paying their illegal employees $3 an hour.

Another illegal near me was selling used cars with open titles, parking them at a shopping center with "for sale" signs on anywhere from one to three cars at a time. And he was selling them quickly. Every week I saw different cars. But I reported it to my state's motor vehicle department, and about a month later they towed his cars away and warned the shopping center to not let anyone sell cars there.

In Pelosi's state she has allowed them to bankrupt over 100 hospitals and to render California's infrastructure virtually gasping for its breath.

See this report published by the L.A. Times:
From the L. A. Times
1. 40% of all workers in L. A. County ( with 10.2 million people) are working for cash and not paying taxes. Mostly illegal aliens.
2. 95% of murder warrants in L.A. are for illegal aliens.
3. 75% on the most wanted list in L.A. are illegal aliens.
4. Over 2/3 of all births in L.A. County are to illegal alien Mexicans on Medi-Cal, paid for by taxpayers.
5. Nearly 35% of all inmates in California prisons are Mexican nationals here illegally.
6. Over 300,000 illegal aliens in L.A. County live in garages.
7. The FBI reports half of all gang members in L.A. are most likely illegal aliens from south of the border.
8. Nearly 60% of all occupants of HUD properties are illegal.

So now Pelosi is calling for an investigation of mortgage lenders. Well, that's all well and good. But she also needs to address something causing our people to lose jobs and their homes:

ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION.

Until Pelosi does a 180 degree about-face from her pro-illegals agendas, we can't take her too seriously about being concerned about folks struggling economically.

Are Deportations Up? OR IS THAT MERELY LA RAZA PROPAGANDA AGAIN?

THE REASON HISPANDERING OBAMA PUT LA RAZA OPEN BORDERS ADVOCATE, JANET NAPOLITANO ON HOMELAND SECURITY, WAS TO ASSURE THAT THE LA RAZA PROPAGANDA WOULD CONTINUE, BORDERS LEFT OPEN AND ENFORCEMENT BE PART OF OBAMA’S ROAD SHOW OF “CHANGE”!!!

FOR EVERY ILLEGAL THAT GETS CAUGHT AT OUR BORDERS, IT IS CALCULATED THAT 8 ARE NOT!
10. The illegal aliens in the United States have a crime rate that's two-and-a-half times that of white non-illegal aliens. In particular, their children, are going to make a huge additional crime problem in the US. In sanctuary County of Los Angeles, there are 500 – 1,000 murders by Mexican illegals. They cost the county nearly one million dollars each to prosecute. Over 90% of all warrants for homicide is for a Mexican illegal! Of Los Angeles’ TOP 200 MOST WANTED CRIMINALS, 176 ARE MEXICANS! There have been 2,000 Californians murdered by illegals that fled back to Mexico to avoid prosecution. The rate for re-arrests of illegals is staggering.

*

11. During the year of 2005 there were 4 to 10 MILLION illegal aliens that crossed our Southern Border also, as many as 19,500 illegal aliens from Terrorist Countries. Millions of pounds of drugs, cocaine, meth, heroin and marijuana, crossed into the U. S from the Southern border.

Deportations of illegal immigrants hit record high, officials announce
By Paloma Esquivel
Los Angeles Times Staff Writer
12:49 PM PDT, October 6, 2010More than 392,000 illegal immigrants were deported from the United States in fiscal year 2010, the highest number in the country's history, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano announced Wednesday.

"We have deployed unprecedented infrastructure, unprecedented technology, unprecedented manpower," Napolitano said during a news conference in Washington, D.C.

Napolitano and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Director John Morton attributed the increased numbers to increased border enforcement, workplace enforcement and an expansion of the department's Secure Communities program.

Secure Communities, which uses fingerprints to identify illegal immigrants in state prisons and local jails, has gone from 14 jurisdictions in 2008 to more than 660, officials said. The department is on track to expand the program to every law-enforcement jurisdiction in the nation by 2013, Napolitano said.

Half of deported immigrants in the last fiscal year were convicted of crimes, Napolitano said. Of those, 33% were convicted of what ICE considered the most serious crimes, which included murder, rape and major drug crimes. The others were convicted of lesser crimes such as burglary, domestic violence, some property crimes and other offenses.

"The numbers reflect our continued focus on those who pose a public-safety threat to our communities," Napolitano said.

In addition, since January 2009, ICE has audited more than 3,200 employers suspected of hiring illegal labor, debarred 225 companies and individuals, and imposed about $50 million in financial sanctions--more than the total amount of audits and debarments than during the entire previous administration, she said.

A coalition of immigrant-rights groups, including the Center for Constitutional Rights and the National Day Laborer Organization Network, called the numbers misleading and said that statistics obtained from ICE showed that nearly 80% of people detained through the Secure Communities program were not criminals or were arrested for lower-level offenses.

Sherriff Lee Baca, who attended the announcement alongside Adrian Garcia, sheriff of Harris County in Texas, and Stan Barry, the sheriff of Virginia's Fairfax County, called the announcement "very good news" and said his department had identified 21,000 people in its jails eligible for deportation.

"Secure Communities does work," Baca said. "It's an excellent policy."

OBAMA'S ASSAULT ON THE AMERICAN WORKER FOR BIGGER CORP PROFITS - Bush In Drag

THE OBAMA’S ECONOMIC PLAN: service Wall St., CORPORATE PROFITS SOARING. BANKSTERS’ PROFITS AND BONUSES SOARING.
SO IS FORECLOSURES, DEM CORRUPTION, UNEMPLOYMENT, AND THE DEMS’ PUSH FOR AMNESTY = ILLEGALS’ VOTES AND DEPRESSED WAGES!
*
These statistics provide a only a pale indication of the human suffering and social devastation at one pole and ever more obscene enrichment of the financial aristocracy at the other resulting from the failure of the capitalist profit system and the drive by the ruling class, spearheaded by the Obama administration and backed by both big business parties, to impose the full brunt of the crisis on the working class.
*
The Administration's Phantom Immigration Enforcement Policy
According to DHS’s own reports, very little of our nation’s borders (Southwestern or otherwise) are secure, and gaining control is not even a goal of the department.
*
While the official unemployment rate has climbed from 7.6 percent when President Obama took office in January to 10 percent today, the administration’s worksite enforcement strategy has amounted to a bureaucratic game of musical chairs. The administration has all but ended worksite enforcement actions and replaced them with paperwork audits. When the audits determine that illegal aliens are on the payroll, employers are given the opportunity to fire them with little or no adverse consequence to the company, while no action is taken to remove the illegal workers from the country. The illegal workers simply acquire a new set of fraudulent documents and move on to the next employer seeking workers willing to accept substandard wages.
*

THE ENTIRE REASON THE BORDERS ARE LEFT OPEN IS TO CUT WAGES!

“We could cut unemployment in half simply by reclaiming the jobs taken by illegal workers,” said Representative Lamar Smith of Texas, co-chairman of the Reclaim American Jobs Caucus. “President Obama is on the wrong side of the American people on immigration. The president should support policies that help citizens and legal immigrants find the jobs they need and deserve rather than fail to enforce immigration laws.”

US corporate profits soar on layoffs, wage cuts
By Barry Grey
6 October 2010
US corporate profits are soaring in the midst of the deepest economic slump since the Great Depression, on the basis of a ruthless policy of using mass unemployment to slash wages and heighten the exploitation of American workers. In order to make the impoverishment of the working class a permanent feature of American life, companies are hoarding vast amounts of cash rather than hiring workers and expanding output.
These are the conclusions that flow from a Wall Street Journal analysis of second-quarter 2010 corporate profits, reported in the newspaper’s Monday edition under the headline “Propelling the Profit Comeback: Retooling, Downsizing.” The article gives statistics showing that US corporate profits are surging despite stagnant and even falling revenue, sharply increasing the percentage of revenue represented by profit.
None of the other major industrialized nations has registered a rise in corporate profits in the aftermath of the financial panic of September 2008 comparable to that in the US. Not coincidentally, none has witnessed mass layoffs on the scale seen here.
(OBAMA’S ASSAULT ON WAGES IS CALLED LA RAZA ‘THE RACE” AMNESTY!)
This difference points to the critical role played by the Obama administration. It has rejected any serious measures to create jobs and thereby fostered an economic environment of It gave the signal for a nationwide offensive against the wages and conditions of US workers when it forced General Motors and Chrysler into bankruptcy and insisted on tens of thousands of layoffs and unprecedented wage cuts as part of a government bailout of the auto bosses.permanent mass unemployment.
Among the statistics reported by the Journal are the following:
• The Commerce Department estimates that for all US companies, second-quarter after-tax profits rose to an annual rate of $1.208 trillion, an increase of 3.9 percent from the first quarter and a 26.5 percent rise from a year earlier. This is the highest annual rate on record, although it does not take inflation into account. As a percentage of national income, after-tax profits were the third highest since 1947, surpassed only by two quarters in 2006, at the height of the last boom.
• Companies in the Standard & Poor’s 500 stock index reported second-quarter profits of $189 billion, 38 percent higher than a year earlier and their sixth highest quarterly total ever, without adjusting for inflation.
• This year’s second-quarter profits at S&P 500 companies were 10 percent higher than in the second quarter of 2008, prior to the financial panic, even though revenue was down by 6 percent. Out of every dollar of sales, companies kept nearly 8.4 cents as profit, up from 7 cents in the 2008 quarter.
• Cumulative profit at technology firms rose 33 percent in the second quarter compared with the same quarter in 2008, though revenue increased by only 7 percent.
• In the consumer discretionary category, which includes the finance and auto industries, net margin—the percentage of revenue that represents profit--more than tripled between the second quarter of 2008 and the corresponding period this year.
As the Journal notes, “To achieve that performance, companies laid off hundreds of thousands of workers, closed less profitable units, shifted work to cheaper regions and streamlined processes.”
The article singles out a number of companies that sharply increased their profits by means of cost-cutting and downsizing, including Texas Instruments, video game maker Electronic Arts Inc., Starbucks, Coca Cola, Ford Motor Co. and industrial parts maker Parker Hannifin. All reported higher profits despite flat or declining sales as compared with 2008, the newspaper notes.
“Despite the hefty profits,” the Journal says, “executives aren’t expected to boost spending on new employees, products and equipment anytime soon.”
John Riccitiello, chief executive of Electronic Arts, which slashed its video game releases by nearly half and laid off 2,000 of its 9,800 employees, is quoted as saying, “We’ve focused on permanent changes that won’t have to be undone as sales improve.”
At Parker Hannifin, profits more than quadrupled from a year earlier while sales grew only 25 percent. Its CEO is quoted as saying the firm plans no significant new hiring “for the foreseeable future,” and will instead stretch its work force by using part-timers and adding weekend shifts.
The turnaround at Ford is even more staggering. In the second quarter of 2008 the company posted an $8.7 billion loss. This year, even though sales remain 15 percent below 2008 levels, Ford reported a second-quarter profit of $2.6 billion, its fifth consecutive quarterly profit.
Far from this upsurge in profits arising from a general expansion of production and employment, it has been achieved almost entirely from the destruction of jobs and the use of mass unemployment to blackmail workers into accepting wage cuts and speedup.
As Financial Times commentator Tony Jackson writes in a column published Monday, “Among the many puzzling phenomena of the post-crisis world, one of the oddest is the astonishing rebound in American corporate profits.” Noting that US corporate profit as a proportion of total national output is “back at record levels in spite of the financial crisis,” Jackson attributes this fact to the “division of the pie between capital and labour.”
Also on Monday, the New York Times published a front-page article on the immense cash hoard being piled up by US corporations as a result of the Federal Reserve’s near-zero interest rate policy and the increase in profits. The estimated $1.6 trillion of cash in corporate coffers is not being used to hire more workers. To the extent that a portion of this money is being invested, it is largely going for such parasitic purposes as stock buy-backs (which drive up share values without producing any real value) and mergers and acquisitions, which inevitably result in more job-cutting and downsizing.
What is involved here is not a temporary downturn, after which conditions will improve for the masses of people, but rather a fundamental realignment of class relations based on a drastic and permanent lowering of working class living standards.
To carry through this offensive, the ruling class relies on the collaboration of the trade unions to suppress working class opposition. In the United Auto Workers union and the AFL-CIO and Change to Win union federations the Obama administration and the corporate elite have accomplices whose only concern is to secure for the union bureaucracy a cut in the spoils of the class war being waged against working people.
The Socialist Equality Party urges workers to carry out a rebellion against these corrupt, right-wing organizations and establish independent and democratic rank-and-file action committees to fight against layoffs, plant closures and wage cuts. These committees should spearhead the struggle to unite all sections of workers and young people and mobilize the power of the working class.
This is a political fight against the Obama administration, both big business parties and the capitalist system which they defend. We urge workers and youth to read the SEP program, “The Breakdown of Capitalism & the Fight for Socialism in the United States,” attend the public meeting in their area and make the decision to join the SEP.

Concerned citizen helps free kidnapped Fresno girl
Police say the 8-year-old, who was abducted Monday while playing outside her home, had been sexually assaulted. The suspect, Gregorio Gonzalez, 24, was on felony probation. An unemployed construction worker spotted Gonzalez's truck and gave chase.

Reporting from Fresno

An 8-year-old girl, kidnapped from her yard by a stranger — the object of an intensive overnight search — was returned to her mother alive Tuesday after a dramatic rescue by a quick-acting unemployed construction worker.

"It's truly a miracle of God that she is with us…we certainly beat the odds," said Fresno Police Chief Jerry Dyer.

The third-grader and a 6-year-old friend were playing in the driveway in front of their apartment complex about 8:30 Monday evening, when a man, whom police later identified as 24-year-old Gregorio Gonzalez, told them he would buy them gifts if they came with him.

Neighbors who saw the man talking to the children shouted at the girls to run. Gonzalez allegedly grabbed the 8-year-old and forced her into an older rust-colored Chevrolet pickup truck with white stripes.

The girl's mother and a neighbor, Enrique Miguel, followed in his car.

"I saw that same truck around here for days," Miguel said. "We chased and chased but lost him."

Authorities issued an Amber Alert, which quickly escalated to a statewide bulletin about a small girl last seen wearing a purple "Winnie the Pooh" sweatshirt. About 130 officers were put on the case, and helicopters scanned the city. Alerts flashed on freeway signs and appeared during television shows.

Everyone working through the night knew the clock was ticking. Dyer would later point out in a news conference that most kidnapping victims are killed within the first 24 hours.

Just down the street from where the girl was kidnapped, Victor Perez was discussing the story with his neighbor.

"He was saying, 'Man, what could we have done different to keep that from happening?' I was saying, 'We've just got to keep a lookout for that truck.' "

On Tuesday morning, the first thing Perez did was turn on the TV to see if there was anything new in the case. Police had released surveillance camera footage of the truck. As Perez and his cousin Flor Urias watched the grainy black-and-white images, Urias looked out their living room window and saw an old rust-colored pickup with stripes making a U-turn in front of their house.

"I was saying, 'Victor, that sure looks like that truck. Is that the truck? That is the truck,' " Urias said.

But Perez was already out the door giving chase in his 1988 Ford pickup, which he always backs into his driveway so he can leave quickly if he needs to.

The first time he caught up to Gonzalez, Perez waved and rolled down his window as though asking for directions.

"I told him, 'Hey man, let me ask you something.' He said he couldn't talk, his battery was about to die. I said 'I have [jumper] cables.' And I'm thinking, 'Maybe it's not him, he seems like a friendly guy.' Then while we were still talking he sped away."

Perez caught up and forced Gonzalez to the side of the road. Gonzalez threw his hands over his head in anger.

He had been holding the little girl down. When his hands shot up, her head popped up over the dashboard and Perez saw her.

"I made eye contact with her. And that's when I wasn't scared anymore," Perez said. "I won't kid you, until then I'd thought 'Does this guy have a gun?' But once I met her eyes, I just thought 'I've got to get that little girl out of there.' "

Gonzalez sped off, at one point driving on the sidewalk.

Perez kept trying to force Gonzalez to the side of the road, finally pulling his truck directly in Gonzalez's path. His plan was to rush the driver's door. But Gonzalez pushed the girl out the passenger-side door and fled.

The girl's first words to Perez were, "I'm scared."

"I said "You're OK now.' Oh, man, she was shaking so bad. She kept saying 'Am I going to be OK?' and I kept saying 'You're OK now.' "

Police say the girl told them Gonzalez took her to a wooded area near a canal where he sexually assaulted her and at one point threatened to "physically harm" her if she did not get back in the truck. Seven witnesses identified Gonzalez. Some witnessed the kidnapping; others witnessed an incident earlier Monday when he allegedly exposed himself to two young girls and then got away in the same truck.

Gonzalez, who lives with his grandparents, had previously been arrested on charges of possession of a sawed-off shotgun and domestic violence. He was on felony probation. About 40 minutes after he pushed the girl out of his truck, he was spotted in central Fresno by California Highway Patrol Officer Dustin Dimmer and taken into custody.

As Perez was chasing Gonzalez, her mother was home after a night at the police station, sobbing uncontrollably. Miguel, the neighbor who had helped her chase the kidnapper, could hear her through the thin walls.

Then, through the walls, he heard a phone ring. She came next door to tell him her daughter was alive.

"She was crying and crying all night," he said. "Then suddenly, hope. I was afraid there was no hope, but there was."

8 CHILDREN VICTIMS OF ILLEGAL MEX SEX ABUSE PER DAY
King also reports eight American children are victims of sexual abuse by illegal aliens every day – a total of 2,920 annually. Based on a one-year in-depth study, Deborah Schurman-Kauflin of the Violent Crimes Institute of Atlanta estimates there are about 240,000 illegal immigrant sex offenders in the United States who have had an average of four victims each. She analyzed 1,500 cases from January 1999 through April 2006 that included serial rapes, serial murders, sexual homicides and child molestation committed by illegal immigrants. As the number of illegal aliens in the U.S. increases, so does the number of American victims. According to Edwin Rubenstien, president of ESR Research Economic Consultants, in Indianapolis in 1980, federal and state correctional facilities held fewer than 9,000 criminal aliens. But at the end of 2003, approximately 267,000 illegal aliens were incarcerated in all U.S. jails and prisons. While the federal government doesn't track illegal alien murders, illegal alien rapes or illegal alien drunk driving deaths, it has studied illegal aliens incarcerated in U.S. prisons.

TWELVE AMERICANS MURDERED EACH DAY BY ILLEGALSBy Joseph Farah 2006
WorldNetDaily.com
WASHINGTON – While the military "quagmire" in Iraq was said to tip the scales of power in the U.S. midterm elections, most Americans have no idea more of their fellow citizens – men, women and children – were murdered this year by illegal aliens than the combined death toll of U.S. troops in Iraq and Afghanistan since those military campaigns began. Though no federal statistics are kept on murders or any other crimes committed by illegal aliens, a number of groups have produced estimates based on data collected from prisons, news reports and independent research. Twelve Americans are murdered every day by illegal aliens, according to statistics released by Rep. Steve King, R-Iowa. If those numbers are correct, it translates to 4,380 Americans murdered annually by illegal aliens.
