According to a Department of Homeland Security report reviewed by Breitbart Texas, 61,471 migrants from “Special Interest Countries” entered the United States in Fiscal Year 2023. According to a source within CBP, most of the migrants, mainly single adult males from countries subject to travel warnings by the U.S. State Department due to terrorism, were released into the United States to pursue asylum claims.

The number of migrants from special interest countries climbed by more than 140% from fiscal year 2022 when Border Patrol agents encountered more than 25,500 Special Interest migrants across the southwest border. In all, more than 86,000 “Special Interest Aliens” made the crossing in two years.

According to a 2019 DHS fact sheet, the term “Significant Interest Alien” (SIA) is defined as follows:

Generally, an SIA is a non-U.S. person who, based on an analysis of travel patterns, potentially poses a national security risk to the United States or its interests.  Often such individuals or groups are employing travel patterns known or evaluated to possibly have a nexus to terrorism.  DHS analysis includes an examination of travel patterns, points of origin, and/or travel segments that are tied to current assessments of national and international threat environments.

This does not mean that all SIAs are “terrorists,” but rather that the travel and behavior of such individuals indicate a possible nexus to nefarious activity (including terrorism) and, at a minimum, provide indicators that necessitate heightened screening and further investigation. The term SIA does not indicate any specific derogatory information about the individual – and DHS has never indicated that the SIA designation means more than that.

More than 15,000 Special Interest Migrants from the Islamic Republic of Mauritania were apprehended entering the United States from Mexico during the latest fiscal year, which ended on September 30. According to the CIA World Factbook, the Northwestern African country is still working to address a continuing practice of slavery and its vestiges. Although officially abolished in 1981, slavery was not criminalized until 2007. As of 2022, the practice of slavery still exists among most ethnic groups inside the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, according to a United Nations report.

In July 2023, the State Department’s travel warning to the Islamic Republic of Mauritania lists crime and terrorism as the main concern to discourage travel by United States citizens.

More than 15,400 Turkish nationals were apprehended as well. Concerning travel to Turkey, the U.S. State Department cautions:

Terrorist groups continue plotting possible attacks in Turkey.  Terrorists may attack with little or no warning, targeting tourist locations, transportation hubs, markets/shopping malls, local government facilities, hotels, clubs, restaurants, places of worship, parks, major sporting and cultural events, educational institutions, airports, and other public areas.

According to the CBP source, many of the migrants from Special Interest countries may be fleeing the issues related to terrorism, crime, kidnappings, and unlawful detentions in their home country as cited by the U.S. State Department. The source, however, is alarmed by the potential national security risk posed by some within that category.

“It’s understandable that people will flee from countries where terrorism exists, but with such high numbers of migrants from everywhere crossing daily, it’s hard to distinguish between those fleeing the conditions and those who may be actively participating in those activities,” the source explained.

Although most of the focus on illegal immigration at the southern border with Mexico falls on the high number of migrants from Venezuela and Central America, little media attention is focused on migrants from Special Interest countries. This is, in part, because the statistics regarding their apprehension and any disposition of their immigration cases are closely guarded by the Department of Homeland Security and not generally released to the public.

According to the source, in Fiscal Year 2023, migrants from more than 280 countries were apprehended by the Border Patrol, including those from 34 countries listed as Special Interest countries. Among the remainder of Special Interest Aliens entering the United States during FY 23 were more than 5,600 Afghans, 3,000 Egyptians, nearly 2,500 Somalis, 2,500 citizens of Bangladesh, nearly 1,300 Pakistanis, 1,200 Eritreans, and almost 1,000 nationals of Tajikistan and Kazakstan.

Nearly 1,700 special interest migrants from Iran, Syria, Morrocco, Jordan, Djibouti, Iraq, Yemen, Turkmenistan, Algeria, Libya, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, and the United Arab Emirates also made entry into the United States.

The SIAs enter in small numbers daily at almost all parts of the southwest border. As reported by Breitbart Texas, larger numbers of migrants from outside the hemisphere, including those from Special Interest countries, are more frequently encountered in Arizona.

During one recent trip to the border region near Lukeville, Arizona, Breitbart Texas observed more than 300 migrants surrender to awaiting Border Patrol agents from a multitude of non-Spanish speaking countries. The migrant group included citizens from mostly western African nations, the Middle East, India, Pakistan, and China.

In just one day in September, according to the source, more than 240 migrants from Special Interest countries entered the United States from Mexico. Most, according to the source were released to pursue asylum claims within the United States.

Maher: Biden Has Bad Approval Ratings Because of Homelessness, Theft

On Friday’s broadcast of HBO’s “Real Time,” host Bill Maher stated that President Joe Biden’s approval ratings are low “Because it just doesn’t feel good when you see tents everywhere on the street. It just doesn’t feel like the country’s right. It just doesn’t feel good when I’ve got to get a sales associate to unlock the hair scrunchies.”

Maher began by lamenting that we can’t seem to find a “middle ground between what a lot of these liberal cities are doing, which is…they say, it’s not a violent crime. Yeah, it’s not if you don’t try to stop it.” And 2024 GOP presidential candidate former President Donald Trump talking about shooting shoplifters.

ABC News Contributor and The Dispatch Editor Sarah Isgur stated that the left-wing belief Maher described is “a luxury belief” held by people who “aren’t actually affected by crime.” And that these beliefs are a fake form of compassion, and “It’s not compassionate…to be paying drug cartels billions of dollars that are going to drug cartels to move people, to smuggle humans over the border. … It’s not compassionate to say, well, like, I’m fine with the homeless people in tents shooting up fentanyl. In fact, I’ll give them a clean syringe. It’s not compassionate to tell someone that they should die on the sidewalk.”

Maher responded, “I agree. And it’s also just psychologically demoralizing these things, like if you’re in a store and you can’t shop freely. Biden’s always saying, why don’t people like me more? And then they cite numbers. Because it just doesn’t feel good when you see tents everywhere on the street. It just doesn’t feel like the country’s right. It just doesn’t feel good when I’ve got to get a sales associate to unlock the hair scrunchies.”

Maher: ‘Sanctuary City Hypocrite’ Dems Got Their Bluff Called

On Friday’s broadcast of HBO’s “Real Time,” host Bill Maher stated that Republicans who bused migrants to sanctuary cities “called the Democrats’ bluff about sanctuary cities,” and the Democrats “look like sanctuary city hypocrites” and “I understand a little, I told you so from the people on the border.”

During his opening monologue, Maher said, “Here’s how serious the situation is: You know, they’ve been busing the migrants to the cities now. They kind of called the Democrats’ bluff about sanctuary cities, and they said oh, you love them so much? Here you go. And the cities don’t like it so much. Eric Adams (D), the Mayor of New York, said this is going to destroy our city. … I love Eric Adams…he went today, to Mexico. He’s going to Mexico, Ecuador, and Colombia, I think door-to-door, no, really, just to tell people personally, we don’t have room, I’m not kidding, don’t come. That’s pretty amazing. No, he’s telling these people, we don’t have room. This is New York City. Don’t you know our catchphrase? We’re the Little Apple. And our theme song, if you can make it here, you can make it anywhere, so go anywhere, don’t come here.”

Later, he stated that “the border crisis has sort of become a national crisis. It was always something like oh, it’s down there, and yes, it’s bad. But it’s — and now it’s all over the country because they’ve been busing the migrants and so forth.”

Maher added that the idea of military action against Mexico is ridiculous, and “it looks like Biden is adopting [Trump’s] policy. This does not look good for the Democrats. Also, they look like sanctuary city hypocrites. They were the ones who said, look, we’re the compassionate people. Everybody should get a shot here. And then when they started sending — I mean, the [quotations] from Eric Adams, this is the Mayor of liberal New York, this issue will destroy our city. The governor, if you’re going to leave your country, go somewhere else. Keep walking, is from the governor of New York. They put out a flyer, New York City, now, it says, New York is one of the most expensive cities in the world, you are better off going to a more affordable city. And also, the club scene is dead. But, there is a little — I understand a little, I told you so from the people on the border.”

10 MILLION OF JOE'S ILLEGALS WITH THE 40 MILLION ALREADY HERE

Chicago Alderman: We Need ‘Serious Policy Changes’ and a Vote on Repealing Sanctuary City Policy

On Friday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “Fox & Friends,” Chicago Alderman Chris Taliaferro stated that Chicago needs “to make some serious policy changes” due to the city being on “the brink of not being able to take any more migrants in.” And called for a referendum on if the city should remain a sanctuary city.

Co-host Carley Shimkus asked, “New York is running out of space, and so is Chicago. And authorities are bracing for up to 25 buses of around 1,250 people aboard them arriving daily in Chicago. You have people sleeping in O’Hare Airport, which has sort of become a migrant shelter in and of itself. If this keeps happening, Alderman, what happens to Chicago?”

Taliaferro responded, “We are already at the brink of not being able to take any more migrants in. We’re closing down our public spaces in order to accommodate the asylum seekers. So, it’s becoming a very — and not to speak of the financial restraint it’s placing upon the city. So, we have to make some serious policy changes, in my opinion, and put this matter out to voters to determine whether or not we continue and how long we continue to be a welcoming and sanctuary city.”

LIKE BIDEN, THIS FUKER CAN'T OPEN HIS MOUTH WITHOUT MORE LIES FALLING OUT!

Watch Mayorkas Mislead Americans on Border Wall

President Joe Biden’s pro-migration border chief is trying to quell progressive outrage and GOP glee after he announced he would build another 17 miles of President Donald Trump’s 450-mile border wall.

“There is no new administration policy with respect to the border wall,” Cuban-born Alejandro Mayorkas insisted at a press conference in Mexico on Thursday.

“The law requires the government to use these funds for this purpose,” he said.

But Mayorkas is a careful lawyer and politician.

He picks his words carefully as he tries to calm left-wing anger over the 17 extra miles of border wall — while also trying to persuade swing voters that the Biden administration has not opened the border.

His political zigzag is spotlighted in this sentence: “From Day One, this administration has made clear that a border wall is not the answer.”

\Left-wingers were pleased by Mayorkas’s claim that “a border wall is not the answer.” They include Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), who demanded Mayorkas’s agency pull down the existing wall.

But his “not the answer” statement also allows ordinary Americans to falsely believe that Mayorkas wants to stop illegal migration.

The statement tricks Americans into thinking that Mayorkas is answering the public’s question — How do we stop illegal migration? — responded John Feere, a former top enforcement official in President Donald Trump’s administration.

In reality, Feere said, Mayorkas believes his most important question is, “How do we welcome mass illegal immigration?”

So Mayorkas is really “telling us that a strong border wall won’t impede his efforts to welcome mass illegal immigration,” Feere said.

“And it is true,” Feere added. For example, Mayorkas has opened numerous legal loopholes along the border that let millions of economic migrants walk past, sneak through, and fly over the border wall.

Voters are “confused, and the reality is the [migrants] are still coming,” Feere said.

On the same press conference stage as Mayorkas, Biden’s pro-migration Secretary of State Antony Blinken sketched the question facing Mayorkas:

Under the [2022] Los Angeles Declaration … at the last Summit of the Americans, we’re charged with taking coordinated actions [Added: so what must we do?] to stabilize flows, to expand regular pathways, to humanely manage all of our borders.

A top White House official at the press conference also described the border challenges and questions facing Mayorkas. Immigration czar Elizabeth Sherwood-Randall said:

We have discussed the importance of developing approaches that enable us to tackle the human [Added: not economic] crisis of irregular migration. That is both a humanitarian challenge, a public health challenge, and environmental challenge, and a security challenge [Added: but not an economic challenge] for the entire hemisphere.

The term “irregular migration” does not include the migrants invited through loopholes by Mayorkas.

On multiple occasions, Mayorkas has publicly described his goal of “expanding regular pathways” so employers can get all the foreign workers they want without offering higher wages to Americans.

“Regrettably, our legal immigration system is not designed to meet the needs of employers here in the United States,” Mayorkas told the Senate’s judiciary committee in May. He continued:

We have employers who are striving to hire, to find people who could fill jobs to contribute to our country’s economic prosperity. Regrettably, regrettably, our legal immigration system is not designed to meet that need of employers here in the United States, despite the fact that individuals from other countries want to come here to work — even seasonally, even temporarily — earn the money that they can bring back to their home countries and support their families there.

In December 2022, Mayorkas told ElPasoMatters.org:

We look to our partner to the north that has a much more nimble immigration system that can be retooled to the needs at the moment. For example, Canada is in need of 1 million workers and they have agreed that in 2023, they will admit 1.4 million … immigrants to fill that labor need that Canadians themselves cannot. We are stuck in antiquated laws that do not meet our current needs. And they haven’t been working for many, many years.

Canada’s cheap labor migration policy has been disastrous to millions of ordinary Canadians who have been damaged by falling wages and higher housing prices.

But Mayorkas “does still believe that there is some political value” to building more walls, Feere laughed, adding:

All of these people at Fox News [are] talking about “Oh, its really a border wall! It’s really a border wall” when in reality it doesn’t matter at all, and that [fuss] is a political distraction [from Mayorkas’s migration].

Since 2021, Mayorkas has made much progress in his effort to flood Americans’ labor market with migrants.

For example, he has allowed more than 4 million migrants through the border. That flood has helped to cut wages, spike rents, and reduce inflation. In September, he also won a court battle that will allow him to import many more foreign graduates for the Fortune 500 white-collar jobs needed by American graduates.

Extraction Migration

The federal government has long operated an unpopular economic policy of Extraction Migration. This colonialism-like policy extracts vast amounts of human resources from needy countries, reduces beneficial trade, and uses the imported workers, renters, and consumers to grow Wall Street and the economy.

The migrant inflow has successfully forced down Americans’ wages and also boosted rents and housing prices. The inflow has also pushed many native-born Americans out of careers in a wide variety of business sectors and contributed to the rising death rate of poor Americans.

The lethal policy also sucks jobs and wealth from heartland states by subsidizing coastal investors with a flood of low-wage workers, high-occupancy renters, and government-aided consumers.

The population inflow also reduces the political clout of native-born Americans, because the population replacement allows elites and the establishment to divorce themselves from the needs and interests of ordinary Americans.

In many speeches, Mayorkas says he is building a mass migration system to deliver workers to wealthy employers and investors and “equity” to poor foreigners. The nation’s border laws are subordinate to elite opinion about “the values of our country” Mayorkas claims.

Migration — and especially, labor migration — is unpopular among swing voters. A 54 percent majority of Americans say Biden is allowing a southern border invasion, according to an August 2022 poll commissioned by the left-of-center National Public Radio (NPR). The 54 percent “Invasion” majority included 76 percent of Republicans, 46 percent of independents, and even 40 percent of Democrats.

Illegal aliens get rooms reserved for vets heading to the Army-Navy game

On December 9, 2023, the 124th Army-Navy game will take place at the Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts. Unfortunately, many of the veterans who planned to see the game may find themselves out in the cold because the government of Massachusetts has claimed their hotel rooms for illegal aliens.

The Army-Navy game goes back to 1890 when the cadets at West Point first squared off against the midshipman at the Naval Academy. It is the preeminent game of the service academies. The game continued even during World War II, which must have been wrenching for those viewing the game, as they understood that the players engaged in sporting combat would soon be overseas fighting a real war when losing was a matter of life and death, not just academy prestige.

This coming December, the game will be held for the first time ever in Massachusetts. Fans from across America, many (most?) of whom are veterans, have already bought their tickets and made their reservations. However, some of them are discovering that there’s no room at the inn. And just as there was no room at the inn one December over 2,000 years ago because of government activity, that’s the reason there’s no room this time around, either.

Image: No vacancies by Tim Green. CC BY 2.0.

It turns out that the Massachusetts government has a “right to shelter” law that requires state officials to provide shelter for families in need—and it doesn’t matter whether the person in need is legally in the country.

[In 1983], [Governor Michael] Dukakis signed what became known as the “right-to-shelter” law, which has for 40 years required state officials to quickly provide shelter and other necessities to homeless parents with children, pregnant women, and most recently, a large influx of migrant families arriving in Massachusetts.

While most of the illegal aliens flooding America’s southern border are single, military-aged men, there are large numbers of families coming through, too. And now that governors Abbott and DeSantis are shipping illegal aliens to the smug, Democrat-run states in the north that proudly proclaimed themselves to be “sanctuary” cities, the “right to shelter” law is straining Massachusetts finances while proving to be a boon to hotels.

Think about it: Sure, vets are pouring in for the Army-Navy game, but they’ll stay a few days and then be gone. The hotels will then struggle to fill vacancies.

With illegal aliens, though, hotels go from mostly empty to always full, with the state reliably footing the bill. And if the illegal aliens trash the place (as they are wont to do), that’s not a problem either. The hotels carry insurance, and the insurance companies would be hard-pressed to deny coverage when it’s the government that’s placing people in these hotels. Thus, a slightly fraying hotel suddenly gets the chance to do a remodel, courtesy of its insurance.

These facts may explain why the hotel chains in Foxborough canceled veterans’ reservations and are so enthusiastic about their new guests. (I’m surmising, of course. I have no actual information about whether the hotels have less than honorable intentions.)

First, the cancelations:

Tickets to the game sell out quickly and hotel rooms become a hot commodity.

That's why it was all the more troubling when Mark Mansbach, a travel agent out of New Jersey, started getting calls from clients that their hotel rooms for the game were being canceled. He decided to call the hotels his agency was partnering with for the game.

"They were leasing out the hotels to the state of Massachusetts for refugees," Mansbach said he was told. It was the response from three hotels owned by Giri Hotel Management, according to Mansbach.

The company, he explained, was working with the state to house migrants under the right to shelter law. His clients' previously booked hotel rooms were canceled to continue the lease with the state. Mansbach said at least 70 of his reservations were impacted.

And now the enthusiasm:

The three hotels where he lost rooms to migrants are the Best Western in Sharon/Foxboro, the Best Western in Franklin and the Comfort Inn in Foxboro. They are all run by the same company, Giri Hotel Management.

The management company said in a statement:

“Giri Hotel Management is thrilled to announce our commitment to providing shelter and support to refugees at our hotels. As a gesture of solidarity and humanitarian responsibility, we are opening our doors to those seeking refuge in our community. We consider it a privilege to offer a safe haven to those who have been forced to flee their homes due to challenging circumstances, and our enthusiasm stems from our belief in the fundamental values of compassion and unity. By providing shelter to refugees, we aim to be a part of a global community that stands together in support of those in need. We look forward to working with local authorities and organizations to ensure a smooth transition for all those who will call our hotels home during their time with us.”

Gov. Ron DeSantis, a vet, was quick to call out the leftist state’s solicitude for illegal aliens over America’s veterans:

There’s really nothing more to say, is there?

Trade Ukraine for the border

Kevin McCarthy was always accused of being a "deal-maker," and that was somehow part of his downfall.  So, too, Donald Trump was hailed for the "Art of the Deal."  Neither man, though, as I see it, really was much of a negotiator on national legislation or much else — largely because they had little to offer the other side.

Right now, as weak as the Republicans in Congress are, they have the potential to make a great deal for themselves.  They have something Biden and the Democrats are desperate to have (as are Mitch McConnell and the Zelensky Republicans) and which, at the same time, should be no major problem to conservatives.

That is aid to Ukraine.  For some reason the liberal Dems, after decades of being squishy-soft on the old Soviet Union, and then Obama's outright appeasement of Putin's Russia, have decided we need to fight it out to the last Ukrainian trans spokeswoman.

As I noted earlier this year, Ukraine, after wrecking much of the Russian army and its modern equipment, was going to exhaust its own resources, and we would be at some kind of stalemate by autumn.  A lot of Ukrainians still want another year of support to regroup and wear down the Russians to the point they might still collapse.  Possible, but not likely.

Still, they are doing a great service for the world as a whole.  The Russian military is so weak now that it will be decades, if ever, before the Russians can again bother the NATO countries, or embark on other misadventures.  They are so hard up for equipment that they are even stripping the defenses on the sensitive Kuril Islands off Japan.

The usual folks on our side are unalterably opposed to helping Ukraine, for peculiar reasons — Tucker Carlson, Doug Bandow, etc.  But for most conservatives, another year of supporting Ukraine's military seems like hardly the worst thing our tax money supports.

Rather, we should exult in our good fortune.  Democrats have adopted the Ukraine War as closely to their hearts as Drag Queen Story Hours.  They care about nothing else these days.  They want it so badly now, so let's trade for the thing we really want: fixing the southern border.

This would include restoration of Remain in Mexico for asylum-seekers and strict limits on the number of immigrant paroles and Temporary Protected Status waivers.  Things are so bad that Biden is doing a bizarre flip-flop on building more sections of the border wall.  So Democrats are finally starting to crack on this issue, anyway.

Let's hope the next speaker will take yes for an answer, and we can make a deal to finally close off the millions of illegals flooding our country.  That would be a real Art of the Deal.

Corruption Is Driving the Russia-Ukraine Conflict

The corruption of Ukraine and of Russia and the Bidens is the main story here

In a recent article, Jonathan Tobin reviewed the events surrounding the introduction by Anthony Roka, Speaker of the Canadian House in Ottawa, of Yaroslav Hunka as a 99-year-old Ukrainian hero in World War II who was in attendance in the Canadian House gallery. It turned out that this “hero” of Canada and Ukraine was a dedicated member of the Nazi SS and was instrumental in the persecution and death of many Jews during World War II. To celebrate this individual and to ignore the travesties of his past was a monumental faux pas, and Roka resigned as head of the Canadian House. This honoring of Hunka seemed to support Russian accusations against Ukraine that there is a strong thread of Nazification in Ukraine which is poisonous to the body politic of Eastern Europe.

Tobin finds reason after reason to see active anti-Semitism in the Ukraine despite the fact that Zelenskyy is Jewish. Yet throughout the article he keeps inserting that Putin’s motives are very bad, implying that we can’t just abandon Ukraine for that would be throwing out the baby with the bath water. Ultimately, the badness of both the Ukraine and Zelensky on the one side and Putin on the other side is so problematic that we are faced with a type of political gordian knot with so much evil that it seems impossible that any policy could have a good end. He even points out that the 17th-century national hero of the Ukraine, Bohdan Khmelnitsky, was a horrible murderer of Jews. But then he rushes to say that Putin is a very bad dude, so the reader should not think that he is taking the side of Putin against Ukraine. Still, he feels comfortable asking about all the money we are spending in the Ukraine.

It has already been revealed ad nauseum that Ukrainian government and business ventures are deeply beset with a subculture of bribery. The country and its institutions move forward with too many individuals who are seeking personal aggrandizement at the expense of the institutions they control or represent. That is why both ethical and legal restraints should be in play and are in play albeit in some countries and companies more than others. Ukraine is a place where ethical restraints are less in play.

However, despite the recent incident in Canada, do not think that there is only anti-Semitism in Ukraine and not in Russia. The Jews were hated in both those countries long before the Nazi presence. Do not pose the issue as Ukrainian anti-Semitism vs. Putin on a power trip, which is what Tobin does, and not only Tobin but other commentators. Catherine the Great of Russia created the Pale of Settlement with its restrictions on where Jews could live, and czars after her and Cossacks under their command set up many restrictions on Jews. My mother’s cousin, who eventually got out of Russia and had her own lovely family and a peaceful life in Tennessee actually was raped repeatedly by Cossacks who had gone through her town or shtetl in Russia before she emigrated. These societies are generally cruel and corrupt whatever achievements they may lay claim to.

Anti-Semitism was not created by the Nazis, but the Nazi policies were the most harsh. The East European Slavic people did not themselves establish concentration camps and gas chambers, but the Jew hatred of the Nazis was not the main reason the Slavs were opposed to the Nazis. The main reason they opposed the Nazis is that they did not want Germans ruling over them.

Too many columnists like Tobin see the leaders and events within a framework of civil rational discourse. He and others strain to make sense of that which cannot be understood from a western civilization or American civilization mindset. Too many political figures -- especially in the former communist countries -- are power-mad pigs beholden to criminals masquerading as officials and top businessmen (oligarchs).

Who knows who is pulling Zelenskyy’s strings? Are there oligarchs telling him “Do diss,Volodymyr, or you vill vake up dead.” Stop thinking of oligarchs as though they are simply overaggressive lobbyists. No. They are mobsters. And we know that Hunter, and most likely our President, had dealings with these people.

Consider Hunter Biden as he sat on the board of Burisma. He was obviously corrupt. He was paid for his connection to his father, and Tony Bobulinski already told Tucker Carlson that Biden’s brother told him that they could do this because of plausible deniability. All that means is that with the network of over 15 companies set up in Biden family members’ names, a specific payoff to Joe for a particular policy decision or moneys to Ukraine could not be proven or tracked. That’s the way of oligarchs, and Joe essentially became part of the Ukrainian oligarchal setup. He was bought and paid for, body and soul. The corruption of Ukraine and of Russia and the Bidens is the main story here.

Hopefully the above commentary and reflection on history is beginning to open our eyes to the reality that we are sending a fortune to Ukraine not because of its higher moral standing. There is no higher moral standing there, any more than in Russia, regarding ethical conduct or attitudes and practices of government and “business.” And both countries have a reprehensible history related to Jews. Rather, the multiple LLCs in the names of Biden family members as well as conversations with Bobulinski and Devon Archer suggest that our President was the “big guy” in a brilliant but illegal scheme of influence peddling.

It seems likely that Joe Biden was on the receiving end of so many bribes from Ukraine, he must now pay off his “owners.” They are calling in the years of payoffs. Give us support or we will out you. Give us support because we supported you.  We bought your services and you willingly promised to supply the needed services at a time of need. This is that time, and we are calling in what we bought! That demand coming from the oligarch class in Ukraine is probably why we are throwing so much support to Ukraine, and this writer is also assuming that there are also corrupt dealings between the Bidens and Russia, which is why the President has not taken an even tougher line against Russia.

True statesmanlike leadership from the U.S. would have put our political currency into establishing a truce, not in defending Ukraine to the extent that we have. Our policy seems to be an expression of U.S. corruption at the highest level.

Tobin sidesteps the entire issue of Biden corruption and Russian and Ukrainian oligarch corruption in favor of addressing neo-Nazism in Ukraine.

200,000+ Migrants Bypassed the Border
And Flew Straight to the U.S. Interior

CIS lawsuit exposes size of Biden direct-flight parole program
Washington, D.C. (September 21, 2023) - Information obtained by the Center for Immigration Studies through a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit reveals that more than 220,000 individuals from four countries have taken advantage over the past year of a direct-flight and parole program created by the Biden administration. This program, part of the broader CBP One parole program, allows inadmissible aliens to make appointments to fly directly to airports in the interior of the United States, completely bypassing the border and thus avoiding inclusion in the Border Patrol monthly “encounter” statistics.

Between late October 2022 and mid-September 2023, the administration approved a total of 221,456 Venezuelans, Haitians, Cubans, and Nicaraguans for air travel (at their own expense) to dozens of U.S. airports. The specific airports were not identified; the government cited a law enforcement exception as the reason for redacting that information. The administration also did not release the numbers or receiving airports for the Colombians or Ukrainians who have taken advantage of the direct-flight program.  But the data released for the four nationalities likely represents the majority of individuals who arrived by air over the past year and offers an early glimpse of the program’s significant growth.

Todd Bensman, the Center’s senior national security fellow and author of the article, emphasized, “CBP owes it to the American people to be fully forthcoming about where all of these immigrants are landing, so that the communities they are joining can plan for the influx of migrants. The Center will continue to push for transparency through our litigation.”

The direct-flight parole program recently became even bigger; the Biden administration added Hondurans, El Salvadorans, and Guatemalans to the program in August. Those numbers are also unknown.

As Illegals Swarm America, Biden Claims Border Walls Don’t Work

If Biden really believes walls don't work, take down the one around the White House.

Even New York’s Gov. Hochul has suggested that, “We want them to have a limit on who can come across the border. It is too open right now.”

It really is.

A record-setting number of migrants crossed the southern border into the United States in September, with over 260,000 encounters reported by Customs and Border Protection in the last 30 days, according to a report.

Perhaps we should build some sort of obstruction, say a wall, to keep the border closed? It worked for Ancient China. It worked for Israel. It can work for America.

But according to the guy who flooded America with illegal alien migrants so that even the governors of Illinois and New York are starting to think about closing the border, walls don’t work.

“Do you believe the border wall works?” a reporter asked Biden.

“No,” Biden replied.

This was at a press conference on Ukraine, and securing its border is much more important than securing ours.

Speaking of Ukraine, they built 40% of their border wall. And then began building a border fence with Belarus. Finland has built a border fence with Russia. And Russia is building a border fence with Crimea.

So everyone else seems to think walls and fences work.

Notably, the White House has a fence around it. And when Biden took power, D.C. was locked down and parts of it were fenced off.

But if Biden believes that border walls don’t work, why did he sue Arizona and Texas over efforts to build barriers to the illegal alien invaders? If the barriers don’t work, there’s no problem. But his problem was that the barriers do work. What doesn’t work is welcoming in hordes of invaders and then busing them around the country. That isn’t even working for New York City, Chicago and D.C. Never mind America.

But if Biden really believes walls and fences don’t work, take down the one around the White House.

THE COMMUNISTS' SLANT OF GLOBALIST JOE'S OPEN BORDERS:

Biden moves towards deal with Republicans: Ukraine war funding in return for border crackdown

The outlines of a reactionary deal between President Joe Biden and congressional Republicans have begun to become clear in the aftermath of the ouster of House Speaker Kevin McCarthy.

The essence of the budding agreement is for the House Republicans to approve billions in additional US military aid to Ukraine in return for the Democratic president agreeing to stepped-up repressive measures against migrants seeking to cross the US-Mexico border and gain asylum and employment in the United States.

The Biden administration carried out two such measures since McCarthy was removed as speaker on Tuesday in the first such action by the House of Representatives in US history.

On Wednesday, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) revealed that it was waiving the application of 26 federal environmental laws in order to go forward with a 20-mile extension of the border wall between the US and Mexico, mainly in Starr County, Texas, on the Rio Grande. This was a direct repudiation of Biden’s campaign pledge in 2020 not to build “another foot” of the wall begun under the Trump administration.

On Thursday, the DHS said it would begin deporting asylum seekers from Venezuela who had recently crossed into the United States illegally. This slammed the door shut on the ongoing flood of migrants from Venezuela, triggered by the massive economic crisis in that country precipitated by the US economic sanctions and de facto blockade, aimed at destabilizing and overthrowing the government of President Nicolas Maduro, which is at odds with US foreign policy in the region.

Last month, amid great fanfare, the Biden administration had announced it would issue temporary work permits for hundreds of thousands of Venezuelan migrants now in the US.

The two actions combined amounted to a declaration that the Biden administration is embracing the vicious anti-migrant policies advocated by Trump and the Republicans over the past eight years, since Trump descended the escalator in his Manhattan tower to slander immigrants from Mexico as murderers and rapists.

Biden’s actions are so clearly aimed at wooing Republican support for Ukraine funding—the principal issue underlying McCarthy’s demise as party leader in the House—that even the Washington press corps was compelled to raise it. At a photo-op with General Charles Q. Brown, the new chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, there was a shouted question to Biden, “Mr. President, are you going to tie Ukraine aid to the border?”

Biden ducked the question, but he responded to a follow-up: “You pledged not to build another foot of border wall. What changed?” The president claimed nothing had changed. But there were already headlines in major newspapers about the reversal, and a Trump statement gloating that his border policies had been vindicated.

This sequence of events confirms the analysis made yesterday on the WSWS, in the perspective statement “McCarthy’s downfall, the Democratic Party and the escalation of the US-NATO war against Russia.” We warned that the Democrats “are pledging to collaborate with the domestic agenda of the Republicans in exchange for guarantees that funding for Ukraine is untouchable.”

The trigger event for McCarthy’s ouster was his decision Saturday night, September 30, to support a continuing resolution (CR) that would enable federal agencies to keep spending money for 45 days into the new fiscal year, thus averting a federal shutdown. The legislation did not contain additional funding for the war in Ukraine, nor the draconian measures on the border proposed by the fascist right.

Within two days, fascist Republican Representative Matt Gaetz filed a motion to declare the office of speaker vacant, forcing a vote on keeping McCarthy in office. The next day, the House Democratic caucus decided to vote against McCarthy, without a single dissenter. The vote on Tuesday was 216-210 against McCarthy, with 208 Democrats joining the seven other Republicans who supported Gaetz, while 210 Republicans backed McCarthy.

With the office of speaker now vacant, the House cannot carry out any business, pending a new election. The interim speaker, Representative Patrick McHenry of North Carolina, designated in advance by McCarthy, put the House in recess for a week while the Republicans discuss a replacement speaker.

Two candidates have so far announced: ultra-right Ohio Representative Jim Jordan, who declared his opposition to Ukraine aid, and Majority Leader Steve Scalise, the number two Republican, who has generally supported US military and financial support to Kiev.

Several members of the Republican caucus, including fascist Marjorie Taylor Greene, have said they would support the selection of ex-president Trump as the speaker. There is no constitutional requirement that the leader of the House actually be an elected representative. Trump’s four indictments, however, make him ineligible under rules adopted by the Republican caucus, which they would have to revoke.

Neither the House recess nor the continuing resolution means an immediate end to US military aid, Pentagon officials said. They noted that there was a total of $7 billion in authority, under two separate legal provisions, either to spend money or transfer military equipment to Ukraine. However, the CR is only for 45 days. Any Ukraine funding after November 14 requires the passage of the overall Defense Department spending bill, which remains highly uncertain.

According to press accounts, there was intensive discussion in the White House about how large the Ukraine aid package in the Pentagon spending bill should be. Under ordinary circumstances, the budget provides spending authority only for fiscal year 2024, which ends next September 30. But there were suggestions that Ukraine aid should be authorized through all of 2024, to take the issue off the table during the presidential election campaign.

Biden said on Wednesday that he would be giving a major speech on Ukraine, saying of the blockade in the House, “It does worry me … There are a majority of members of both parties that have said they are for Ukraine aid.”

On Thursday, there was a briefing on Ukraine from White House national security aides for Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, but no information has yet been released of what was discussed.

Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin and General Brown are scheduled to travel to Europe next week for meetings in Brussels October 11-12 of the Ukraine defense contact group and NATO defense ministers. Such meetings are usually the occasion for announcing new arms shipments to Ukraine or escalatory actions by NATO directed against Russia.

Biden Now Offers ‘Temporary’ Amnesty to over a Million Foreign Nationals

President Joe Biden has hugely expanded the federal government’s Temporary Protected Status (TPS) program, which serves as a de facto amnesty scheme, to allow more than a million foreign nationals to remain in the United States who would have otherwise been considered illegal aliens.

On Friday, Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas announced that about 10,000 Cameroonian nationals in the U.S. would become eligible for TPS, including more than 2,000 who will have their TPS extended.

FWD.us, founded by billionaire Mark Zuckerberg, has urged Biden to carry out the huge TPS expansion. Following the Cameroon announcement, President Todd Schulte praised the decision as “great news” and asked that similar decisions be made for the Democratic Republic of Congo and Mauritania.

Behind FWD.us is the nation’s wealthy West Coast, mostly tech, investors who advocate for an endless flow of mass immigration to the U.S. for the benefit of employers.

Those roughly 10,000 Cameroonian nationals join the now more than a million foreign nationals living in the U.S. whom the Biden administration has made eligible for TPS. Most notably, Biden extended TPS to almost half a million Venezuelan nationals in the U.S. after intense lobbying from blue state governors and mayors.

Coupled with Biden’s legal and illegal immigration goals, his administration is carrying out a policy that has massively increased the nation’s foreign-born population.

As Breitbart News reported, the latest analysis of U.S. Census Bureau data shows that as of last month, the nation’s foreign-born population stands at about 49.5 million — just half a million immigrants short of hitting 50 million.

The foreign-born population today represents the largest ever in American history.

TPS was first created under the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1990 (INA) and prevents federal immigration officials from deporting those from countries that the federal government has designated as experiencing famine, war, or natural disasters.

Since the Clinton administration, TPS has been transformed into a de facto amnesty program as the Clinton, Bush, Obama, Trump, and now Biden administrations have continuously renewed the program for a variety of countries.

President Joe Biden’s deputies are offering multiple concessions to Mexican President Andres Manuel López Obrador in the hope that he will conceal the huge and unpopular flow of illegal migrants during the 2024 campaign season.

On Thursday, three of Biden’s cabinet secretaries met with Obrador. He has the power to embarrass Biden during the 2024 campaign with massive, televised eruptions of migrants — such as the September 2021 rush of 15,000 Haitians at Del Rio, Texas.

He has that power because Biden’s deputies have abandoned their duty to enforce the border law and have, instead, triggered a flood of global migrants through Mexico that Mexico’s government can hold or release whenever Obrador chooses.

On Thursday, Attorney General Merrick Garland promised Obrador that he would restrict the supply of U.S.-made guns to Mexico’s cartels, saying that U.S. officials “well understand the dangers of the military-grade weapons that are being trafficked to Mexico.”

The U.S. has doubled the capture of guns smuggled to Mexico during the last year, border chief Alejandro Mayorkas told Obrador. Mayorkas is also quietly allowing roughly 50,000 Mexicans per month to cross the border into U.S. jobs and communities.

On September 29, Secretary of State Tony Blinken told Obrador’s foreign secretary that he would simplify trade with Mexico and let Mexicans get jobs in the Congress’s $50 billion effort to build chip factories in Arizona, Ohio, and other states:

We’ll continue to strengthen, to expand, and diversify supply chains in emerging industries like electric vehicles and semiconductors. Today, in fact, we’re launching a joint semiconductor action plan to accelerate our integration, to scale our efforts to attract new investment.

Blinken touted trade — not U.S. opposition to migration or drugs — as the top priority in negotiations:

By creating the right incentives in business environments and harnessing our two nations’ respective strengths, we have a tremendous opportunity to make North America the most competitive, the most productive, the most dynamic region in the world.  That’s what this [U.S.-Mexico] dialogue is fundamentally about.

This bargaining policy is very different from President Donald Trump’s 2019 policy.

In 2019, as migrants flooded across his barely-begun border wall, he bypassed his economic deputies and threatened to impose economic sanctions on Mexico. Obrador quickly gave up and curbed the flow of migrants — which proved very popular in Mexico.

Experts, journalists, and immigration advocates acknowledge that Obrador has power over Biden.

“Mexico has real leverage in the relationship with the US. And right now that leverage is around migration,” Andrew Selee, the president of the pro-migration Migration Policy Institute, told CNN for an October 5 article.

“The government of Mexico views their control over immigration as a bargaining chip in any conversation they have with the United States,” Jon Feere, a top enforcement official in President Donald Trump’s government, said. He added:

The U.S. shouldn’t be tolerating any illegal immigration, and it should be very clear that this has to come to a stop. But the Biden administration is controlled by special interests, and they’re not going to go forcefully into Mexico and make demands ….

It’s the optics that they’re concerned about. So if they can manage it by changing the pace at which it occurs or the way in which it occurs, to make it look orderly, that’s good enough for them.

“They think it’s okay to negotiate over our sovereignty,” Feere said.

“López Obrador very quickly understood that if he gave into Biden’s request for support [on migration] he would have significant political capital to ensure that US pressure on [Mexico] … would be constrained,” former Mexican ambassador Arturo Sarukhán told CNN. One sign of Mexican clout, he said, is that Biden’s deputies are silent about several moves by Obrador to roll back democratic rights, he added.

The two countries have quietly negotiated a series of border security arrangements that have largely prevented another Del Rio PR disaster for Biden. The deal includes Mexican protections for a series of corporate-funded shelters in northern Mexico that help migrants rest before they cross the border.

But Mexico’s clout was also displayed when Obrador met on Thursday with three U.S. cabinet secretaries, Ioan Grillo, a Mexican journalist, noted:

Obrador is using his political leverage over Biden to Mexico’s advantage.

For example, Obrador’s deputies have stifled Biden’s tepid efforts to curb the deadly flow of Mexican-made fentanyl into the United States. On Thursday, one of Obrador’s deputies told the Americans that fentanyl is not being manufactured in Mexico.

CBP officers in Nogales seized more than 670K fentanyl pills in two shipments. (U.S. Customs and Border Protection/Nogales Port of Entry)

CBP officers in Nogales seized more than 670K fentanyl pills in two shipments (U.S. Customs and Border Protection/Nogales Port of Entry).

The fentanyl smuggling kills roughly 70,000 Americans each year — but it is a huge money-generator for the cartels, Mexico’s economy, and many corrupt politicians in Mexico.

U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland was at the meeting — but did not win any drug-related concessions from Mexico.

Biden’s team has failed to win any Mexican curbs on the deadly drug smuggling, partly because they have used their limited leverage with Mexico to hide their efforts to smuggle more than three million global migrants into Americans’ jobs and homes.

Obrador is happy to accelerate migration into the United States — and to boost their political power. In January 2023, for example, he pushed Biden to amnesty Mexicans in the United States:

Just imagine: There are 40 million Mexicans in the United States — 40 million [including people] who were born here in Mexico, [or] who are the children of people who were born in Mexico … I fully trust President Biden … I’ve asked President Biden to insist before the U.S. Congress to regularize the migration situations of millions of Mexicans who have been in the States working, living in the United States, and contributing to the development of that great nation, which is the United States of America.

His foreign secretary, Alicia Barcena, called for even more migration at the September 29 meeting and announced Mexico’s plan to build a multinational alliance for more migration:

Migration is an issue with strong social and economic roots and that is why we have agreed to look at these structural causes of migration. But also, we have seen that the problem on our border – the U.S.-Mexico border, it doesn’t begin there. Really, people are coming from the south.  So, we need to have a hemispheric regional perspective to include Ecuador, Colombia, Panama, Venezuela, Haiti, Honduras, Guatemala, Costa Rica. And that is why our president is assuming great leadership in this regard. … We can take control these migratory flows, offer development opportunities, and approve safe and legal pathways. This is essential because we have had a crisis that affected us at our trade crossings as well. So, we need to be very well prepared for this.

Mexico’s plan to create an alliance with Venezuela may also allow Mexico to help U.S. officials implement their new plan to deport some illegal-migrant Venezuelans. The U.S. plan was announced Thursday, but U.S. officials released no details about numbers or timing — perhaps because Mexico has yet to declare the price it will charge to aid the deportations.

Meanwhile, Obrador plays hardball with Biden.

On Thursday, he slammed Biden’s surprise campaign trail decision to build about 17 miles of extra border wall. It is a “step backward,” Obrador complained as he argued that “the poorest countries have to be helped” by migration.

Biden’s officials and their business donors are very eager to get more migrants from Obrador — but only if the huge inflow can be kept orderly and hidden from U.S. voters who are increasingly opposed to both illegal and legal migration.

Biden’s deputies also want to pretend the migrant flood is caused by uncontrollable foreign disasters, not by the Democrat party’s open-border offer of jobs, housing, and government aid to foreign migrants.

“Our two countries are being challenged by an unprecedented level of migration throughout our hemisphere,” Mayorkas told the meeting, adding:

The United States is committed to continuing to work closely with Mexico as we implement a model that pairs a historic expansion of safe, orderly and lawful pathways for migrants to come directly to the United States or elsewhere to obtain humanitarian relief outside the grip of [cartel] smugglers.

In January 2023, the Cuban-born, pro-migration border chief rebuffed Republican demands for an effective anti-drug policy. “We are doing that which needs to be done,” Mayorkas answered.

Since January, at least 50,000 mostly discarded Americans have died from fentanyl as employers open many low-wage jobs for the indebted migrants that are being extracted from poor countries:

White House Deal with Mexico: More Migrants, Less Video

NEIL MUNRO

A White House official has signed a border management deal with

Mexico to minimize the visibility of accelerating mass illegal

migration once officials lift the Title 42 barrier that now protects

 Americans.

The deal is not intended to block labor migration into Americans’ workplaces and neighborhoods, said Rosemary Jenks, the director of Government Relations for NumbersUSA: “It’s all designed to mask what is the intended goal of the Biden administration — which is to bring in as many people as possible.”

The administration’s same-day announcement that it sending 1,500 troops to the border “is all part of that distraction,” she added. The troops will be “pushing paper and stocking warehouses” to help Biden’s border agents and its progressive non-profit register more migrants for flights and bus trips to Americans’ cities and towns.

The deal with Mexico cooperation helps Biden’s deputies quietly funnel the chaotic and growing flood of illegal, job-seeking migrants through hidden side doors in the border, she said:

You no longer have videos of hundreds of people streaming across the Rio Grande [because] people are being flown in on taxpayer dollars, [and] poor people are coming through the ports of entry — again, with no legal right to be there — so that it doesn’t look like chaos …. [But] the end result is exactly the same: A massive number of people with no right to be here coming into the United States, using taxpayer dollars, taking taxpayer-funded services, competing for housing, competing for jobs, all of the rest of it.

Officials are already inviting up to 30,000 migrants per month to fly from four countries into airports around the United States. They are also helping to bus roughly 25,000 migrants from shelters in Mexico to border sites for quiet catch-and-release processing.

“It is stunning, the lawlessness of this administration,” she added. “They just create these programs out of whole cloth … — these people are making their own laws and nobody’s stopping them.”

The Biden policies are facing legal review in a federal court in Texas, and the U.S. Supreme Court is expected to issue a decision by June.

Understandably, Mexico is using its power over the border flow to extract rewards from the U.S. government, she said.

“Mexico has power over the United States,” said Jenks. “Mexico is letting all of these people in through its borders, and it’s doing that very intentionally [because it has the power to] stop it, or … increase the flow.”

For example, Mexico steered up to 30,000 Haitian migrants to the Del Rio crossing in Texas in September 2021. The event was a shock to the Biden administration because the migrant flood was broadcast on the evening TV news to the many Americans who do not monitor political news.

“Mexico has no reason to agree to this [deal] if they’re not getting something of equal value or more value in exchange –I just don’t know what that is,” Jenks said.

The deal “consolidates Mexico’s role as the lynchpin in the US’ migration containment strategy,” said Mexican journalist, José Díaz Briseño.

The strategy is sometimes called. “border externalization,” because it allows White House officials — and their business allies — to quietly sign deals with foreign countries instead of openly negotiating with a divided Congress and hostile voters.

Mexico’s president, Lopez Obrador, is using his power over the U.S. border to minimize U.S. protests while he expands authoritarian rule in Mexico, said a tweet by author David Frum.

Obarado has long sought to swap border cooperation in exchange for more Mexicans and Latinos getting U.S. jobs that otherwise would go to Americans.

The White House’s official statement revealed little about the deal.

For example, it said, “Mexico will continue to accept back migrants on humanitarian grounds” without revealing the monthly cap on return. The current cap is just 30,000, which is far below the monthly arrival of more than 180,000 in April.

The statement does not discuss curbs on the flow of drugs into the United States, which now kill roughly 100,000 Americans each year.

The statement does not talk about the rising flood of global migrants from Chile, Colombia, India, China, Brazil, Cameroon, Nepal, Russia, and more than 150 other countries. Under Biden’s policies, very few migrants from those countries are being sent home. This passive policy ensures that successful migrants will summon many more migrants from their home countries.

Biden’s deputies want to import more foreigners for the jobs and homes that would otherwise go to Americans. For example, the pro-migration border chief, Alejandro Mayorkas, said on April 21:

Our model is as follows: Build lawful pathways, cut out the smugglers who exploit these vulnerable individuals. Build lawful pathways, give individuals an opportunity to reach the United States safely in an orderly way to avail themselves of the humanitarian relief our laws provide.

The White House statement did say that U.S. officials also plan to import another 100,000 poor migrants from Central America. The lucky migrants are the left-behind children of migrants who illegally sneaked into the U.S. economy.

The new pipeline comes after officials announced they would open two pipelines from Colombia and Panama, even as they expand many other inflows of migrants and visa workers.

“Everything that the Biden administration does has the effect of bringing more people into the United States who should not be here and do not have a right to be here,” said Jenks

In 1990, Congress set current immigration levels at about one million per year, alongside a flow of temporary workers for favored interest groups, including farmers, resort operators, and Fortune 500 companies. Those high caps provide roughly one immigrant for every four U.S. births but helped limit the migration-imposed damage to Americans’ national labor and housing markets.

Biden’s cooperation with other countries, and the establishment media, helped minimize the public recognition and response to Biden’s population policy. “They got away with [an inflow of] 4.5, to 6 million people over the last two years,” she said.

Despite the massive inflow, Biden’s deputies and their allies are portraying his border policies as a return to the l0w migraiton rules set by President Donald Trump and his deputies.

The population inflow also reduces the political clout of native-born Americans, because the population replacement allows elites to divorce themselves from the needs and interests of ordinary Americans.

In many speeches, Mayorkas says he is building a mass migration system to deliver workers to wealthy employers and investors and “equity” to poor foreigners. The nation’s border laws are subordinate to elite opinion about “the values of our country,” Mayorkas claims.

THE NEXT MEXICAN INVASION IS AT HAND:

"Mexican president candidate Andrés Manuel López Obrador called for mass immigration to the United States, declaring it a "human right". We will defend all the (Mexican) invaders in the American," Obrador said, adding that immigrants "must leave their towns and find a life, job, welfare, and free medical in the United States."

http://mexicanoccupation.blogspot.com/2018/07/mexican-president-andres-manuel-lopez.html

"Fox’s Tucker Carlson noted Thursday that Obrador has previously proposed granting AMNESTY TO MEXICAN DRUG CARTELS. “America is now Mexico’s social safety net, and that’s a very good deal for the Mexican ruling class,” Carlson added."

"Many Americans forget is that our country is located against a socialist failed state that is promising to descend even further into chaos – not California, the other one. And the Mexicans, having reached the bottom of the hole they have dug for themselves, just chose to keep digging by electing a new leftist presidente who wants to surrender to the cartels and who thinks that Mexicans have some sort of “human right” to sneak into the U.S. and demographically reconquer it." Mexico: Where Is Your Shame?

Immigration: Mexico's government gloated triumphantly after a federal judge's injunction blocked Arizona's immigration law. But it's no victory for Mexico. In fact, Mexico's leaders ought to be mortified.

As radical immigration activists crowed with glee and the Obama administration claimed victory, Mexico's government joined the applause.

Calling Judge Susan Bolton's injunction Wednesday "a step in the right direction," Mexican Foreign Minister Patricia Espinosa declared: "The government of Mexico would like to express its recognition for the determination demonstrated by the federal government of the United States and the actions of the civil organizations that organized lawsuits against the SB 1070 law."

In reality, it ought to be ashamed. Supposedly framed as an issue of federal power pre-empting state power, it's hardly Mexico's business. But Mexico made a big show of saying its interest was in protecting its nationals from the dreadful racism of Arizona that its own citizens, curiously enough, keep fleeing to.

Espinosa said her government was busy collecting data on civil rights violations and her department had issued an all-out travel warning to Mexican nationals about Arizona.

That's where Mexico's hypocrisy is just too much.

First, Mexico encourages illegal immigration to the U.S. Oh, it says it doesn't, but it prints comic book guides for would-be illegal immigrants and provides ID cards for illegals once they get here. In Arizona alone, Mexico keeps five consulates busy.

That's not out of love for its own citizens, but because Mexicans send cash back to Mexico that helps finance the government.

Instead of selling its wasteful state-owned oil company or getting rid of red tape to create jobs in Mexico, Mexico spends the hard currency from remittances. It fails to look at why its citizens leave.

According to the Heritage Foundation-Wall Street Journal 2010 Index of Economic Freedom, Mexico's big problem is — no shock — government corruption, where it ranks below the world average.

That's where Mexico's cartels come in.

Mexico's encouragement of illegal immigration undercuts its valiant war against its smuggling cartels. The cartels' prowess and firepower have made them the only ones who can smuggle effectively across the border. U.S. law enforcers say they now control human-smuggling on our southern border.

Feed them immigrants and they grow more cash-rich — and right now, immigrant smuggling is about a third of the cartels' income.

Mass graves and car bombings are signs of criminal organizations getting bigger, and more powerful. Juarez, which has lost 5,000 people this year, bleeds because cartels fight over not just who gets the drug routes, but who gets the illegal-immigrant smuggling routes, too.

Aside from the cartel mayhem in Mexico, the bodies are piling up in the Arizona desert and U.S. Border Patrol rescues of abandoned illegals left to die have risen.

It's not the desert's fault, and it's certainly not Uncle Sam's fault, as activists claim. No, it's the fact that Mexicans are encouraged to emigrate. Criminal cartels don't fear abandoning their human cargo in the desert, as long as Mexico does nothing and blames Uncle Sam.

Hearing Mexico's government now cheer the Arizona ruling, which will only encourage more illegal immigration, gives the country's regime a pretty inhuman face.

If Mexico had any decency, it would do all it could to discourage illegal immigration and keep a respectful silence about Arizona.

It needs U.S. support for its war on cartels. Instead of insulting American citizens, Mexico should confront directly the reasons why its people are so desperate to leave, and do all in its power to destroy the cartels that are slowly killing the nation. That includes defunding the murderous gangs by halting illegal immigration.

Mexico’s President Says Biden Responsible for Migrant Surge at Border

ILDEFONSO ORTIZ and BRANDON DARBY

Expectations created by President Joe Biden about better treatment for migrants led to the current border surge, said Mexico’s President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador (AMLO).

During his daily news conference, AMLO spoke about the ongoing border crisis and said the increase in migrants entering Mexico and heading to the U.S. is partly due to the expectations created by President Biden.

AMLO: “Expectations were created that with the Government of President Biden there would be a better treatment of migrants. And this has caused Central American migrants, and also from our country, wanting to cross the border thinking that it is easier to do so” pic.twitter.com/TNrZQamuWK

“Expectations were created that with the Government of President Biden there would be a better treatment of migrants. And this has caused Central American migrants, and also from our country, wanting to cross the border thinking that it is easier to do so,” AMLO said.

The statements come one day after Mexico’s military confirmed the deployment of 8,700 soldiers to curb the growing number of migrants traveling through the country.

Mexico’s president says he will share with President Joe Biden his willingness to find a way to legalize the flow of migrants from Central America and Mexico as a way to meet American labor needs.

“I have a teleconference with Biden on Monday and we are going to talk about that topic,” President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador (AMLO) said this weekend during one of his news conferences. “Let’s fix the migratory flow, legalizing it, to give guarantees to the workers so they don’t risk their lives, and that their human rights are protected.”

During the conference, AMLO said the U.S. would need about 600,000 to 800,000 laborers per year for economic growth. The Mexican politician brought up the Bracero program when the U.S. provided migrant farmworkers with permits during World War II.

The topic of the migrant workflow had not been previously discussed publicly by the Foreign Relations Ministry or the Interior Secretariat ahead of the virtual meeting between Lopez Obrador and Biden.

The issue comes as Mexican authorities see a dramatic rise in human smuggling activities as thousands of Central American migrants continue to make their way north. Mexican officials predicted a dramatic rise in migratory flows at the start of 2021 due to work shortages from the pandemic and recent natural disasters that shook Central America. Officials in Mexico did not publicly discuss the political effect that a Biden Administration would have on the matter.

Mexican authorities have found several large groups of migrants at hotels or being moved in tractor-trailers in recent weeks. Officials are also seeing a spike in ransom kidnappings where cartel-connected human smugglers hold migrants to further extort their families.

ARRESTED: East Texas Deported Migrant Charged with Five Murders in Custody

The previously deported Mexican national accused in the brutal murder of five Honduran migrants in Cleveland, Texas, is now in custody, according to San Jacinto County Sheriff Greg Capers. A multi-agency task force took the fugitive into custody on Tuesday night near Cut & Shoot, Texas.

Sheriff Capers told Breitbart Texas that a team of U.S. Marshal Deputies, Texas Department of Public Safety CID agents, and Border Patrol’s elite BORTAC agents found Francisco Oropesa near Cut & Shoot early Tuesday evening. The arrest brought to an end, the four-day manhunt for the four-time deported Mexican national.

The search for the man accused of murdering four of his neighbors, all Honduran migrants, began on Saturday morning when San Jacinto County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrived on the scene of the mass-casualty murder. Sheriff Capers told Breitbart in a phone interview Tuesday morning that his deputies arrived on the scene in less than 11 minutes.

Oropesa reportedly fled on foot after shooting and killing five Honduran neighbors late Friday night. Capers said search dogs tracked the man after finding a cell phone and some clothing but the dogs lost the track when the man entered the water. From that point, a massive manhunt began and the reward for his capture rose to $80,000.

The sheriff said they received leads from Maryland to Wyoming. However, a local tip brought the law enforcement team to Oropesa less than 20 miles from where the shooting took place.

While driving from Cut & Shoot to his jail with the suspect in his vehicle, Sheriff Capers said he wasn’t going to believe it was his suspect until he looked at the man’s tattoo and looked into his eyes.

Capers said he took off the arresting agent’s cuffs and “rolled up his sleeves and placed him in my cuffs.”

The case will now fall into the hands of San Jacinto County District Attorney Todd Dillon. Breitbart Texas reached out to the DA for information about how the State will proceed with charges. An immediate response was not available.

'Difficult To Describe With Words': CNN Reporter Stunned By Number of Illegal Immigrants In Texas City

Ben Wilson

May 2, 2023

A CNN reporter was left stunned by the number of illegal immigrants in El Paso, as the Texas city and dozens of others across the country struggle to address record migration.

"It’s difficult to describe, Jim, with words ... the magnitude of the number of individuals," reporter Rosa Flores said from a church in El Paso, where Democratic mayor Oscar Leeser declared a state of emergency this week ahead of the May 11 end of Title 42, a pandemic-era rule that allowed agents to turn migrants away at the border. Outside the church, CNN's camera captured dozens of migrants sitting on the sidewalk and street. The Biden administration is deploying troops to assist with administrative duties at the border when Title 42 ends.

"We are getting prepared now for what we call the unknown," said Leeser, who anticipates thousands of migrants to flood El Paso in the coming weeks.

The increased mainstream media coverage of the border crisis comes as more Democratic politicians speak out about the struggles in their cities.

New York City mayor Eric Adams (D.) lashed out at Texas governor Greg Abbott (R.) Tuesday for sending migrants to New York and other "black-run cities."

"This weekend, we learned that Governor Abbott is once again deciding to play politics with people's lives by resuming the busing of asylum seekers to New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Denver, and Washington, D.C.," Adams said Monday. "It is also impossible to ignore the fact that Abbott is now targeting five cities run by Black mayors. Put plainly, Abbott is using this crisis to hurt Black-run cities."

Lori Lightfoot (D.), the outgoing mayor of Chicago, said her city is "tapped out" of resources for migrants.

Despite the comments, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre falsely said Monday that illegal immigration has decreased "by more than 90 percent." Her comments mirror similar declarations of confidence in border security from President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, and Department of Homeland Security secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. Illegal immigration actually hit a record high in 2022 of 2.76 million encounters.

Texas Governor Orders Effective Commerce Shutdown from Mexican State of Tamaulipas Amid Migrant Surge

Washington, D.C. (May 3, 2023) – The Center for Immigration Studies has confirmed that in a reprise of a controversial but successful diplomatic pressure tactic against Mexico from last year, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott has ordered meticulous truck safety inspections once again that have shuttered a major commercial trucking artery from Mexico.

This comes as illegal border crossings have spiked in anticipation of the end of Title 42 expulsions on May 11. The bridge slowdown is “only a break-glass solution for when things get really bad,” one senior Abbott official told CIS.

The deployment of Texas Department of Public Safety vehicle safety inspection officers Tuesday has all but closed the trucking lanes at Veterans International Bridge from Matamoros into Brownsville.

“We’re doing 100 percent inspections, which means every truck will be inspected,” Texas DPS spokesman Chris Olivarez confirmed to CIS Wednesday.

“It’s indefinite,” Olivarez said. “We want to make sure the trucks are safe and they’re following state and federal regulations to make sure they are operating safety on Texas roadways.”

This week’s resurrection of the inspections regimen comes as Mexican authorities across in the state of Tamaulipas last week began to allow tens of thousands of immigrants to cross the Rio Grande from Matamoros – enticed by the Biden-Harris administration’s continuing mass releases of border crossers into the American interior. The Biden government and many experts expect the surge to worsen in the coming days, ahead of the May 11 demise of the federal Title 42 rapid expulsion policy.

Todd Bensman, the Center’s senior national security fellow, writes, “While the state police agency may publicly insist these inspections are for public safety purposes, circumstances more persuasively suggest the Texas governor once again hopes to use this hard-nosed trade disruption tactic to economically pressure his Mexican counterparts into slowing a powerful, gathering surge of illegal immigrant crossings that is now underway from Matamoros into Brownsville, and also from Juarez into El Paso, at the other end of the Texas-Mexico border.”

One year ago, Abbott’s truck inspections tactic brought four Mexican governors to the bargaining table to sign agreements that their state police agencies would stop a 15,000-immigrant caravan on its way to the border and to then work more generally with Texas to slow illegal immigration on the Mexican side.
The bridge from Matamoros is the only one “as of right now,” Olivarez said.

And the Mexicans, having reached the bottom of the hole they have dug for themselves, just chose to keep digging by electing a new leftist presidente who wants to surrender to the cartels and who thinks that Mexicans have some sort of “human right” to sneak into the U.S. and demographically reconquer it." KURT SCHLICHTER

As in 2016, Democrats advance a corrupt ruling-class candidate. Like the dead man Gary Ernst, Democrats want people to vote for Joe Biden so they can swap him out for Kamala Harris, already a beneficiary of voter fraud and with the exception of Xavier Becerra possibly the worst attorney general in California history.

Sending Troops to Border Is 'Inappropriate' and 'Political,' Said Veep Whose Boss Is Now Sending Troops to Border

Karl Salzmann

May 2, 2023

Vice President Kamala Harris in a 2018 interview blasted the Trump administration's decision to send troops to the border as "political" and "inappropriate," remarks that may hurt her after news broke Tuesday that the Biden administration is sending 1,500 troops to the border.

"The administration made a decision to deploy [troops] based on a political agenda," then-senator Harris said, "and I believe that it is inappropriate to require the limited resources of the United States military to be used in such a way." She described the Trump administration's decision as "some demonstration for the TV cameras based on a political agenda instead of what is a national security threat."

Harris has not used similar language to describe the Biden administration's decision to deploy troops to the border. According to a Homeland Security Department memo, the Pentagon will send staff to manage an enormous expected surge on the southern border following the repeal of Title 42, a Trump administration border security measure, the Washington Free Beacon reported Tuesday. Defense Department officials confirmed the same day that the administration will send "1,500 active-duty troops to the U.S.-Mexico border in anticipation of an influx of migrants," according to CNN.

"The active-duty Army units will assist Border Patrol and will be armed," National Review reported. In addition to the Army, 2,500 active-duty National Guardsmen are already stationed at the border.

The Border Patrol, which last year faced a record-high number of encounters with illegal immigrants, may now have to deal with up to 15,000 migrants per day. By comparison, the whole month of March 2022 "saw an average of roughly 5,200 daily illegal border crossings," the Free Beacon reported. An unprecedented 5.5 million immigrants have already illegally crossed the border since Harris's boss, President Joe Biden, took office.

Harris, who is ostensibly in charge of managing the administration's response to the crisis, has only been to the border once, in June 2021. In January of this year, she visited the border state of Arizona but didn't discuss the crisis. Instead, she talked about green energy projects.

Even as the crisis worsens by the day, Biden administration officials, including Harris, have insisted that the border is secure. One day before the Pentagon confirmed the troop movement, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre falsely claimed that "illegal migration" has "come down by more than 90 percent."

Analysis: Biden Projected to Bring over 2 Million Illegal Aliens to U.S. this Year (WE'RE ALREADY AT 10 MILLION AND COUNTING)

Likely more than two million border crossers and illegal aliens are expected to be encountered at the United States-Mexico border by the end of September, a new analysis projects.

In President Joe Biden’s first year in office, Steven Kopits with Princeton Policy Advisors accurately projected that about two million border crossers and illegal aliens would be encountered along the southern border.

Likewise, in 2022, Kopits correctly projected that more than 2.3 million border crossers and illegal aliens would be encountered at the border, for a total of about 4.2 million border encounters in Biden’s first two years, with millions of those being released into the U.S. interior.

For fiscal year 2023, which ends in September, Kopits estimates that more than two million border crossers and illegal aliens will have been encountered at the border — slightly down from his prior projection showing 2.7 million may be encountered.

Chart via Princeton Policy Advisors

“… [O]ur forecast for Fiscal Year 2023 apprehensions still constitutes the second worst year on record, better only than last year,” Kopits writes, calling the projected mass migration “still dreadful.”

That projection, Kopits suggests, is likely to rise as the Biden administration tests a host of Catch and Release programs like the Customs and Border Protection One (CBP One) mobile app which allows foreign nationals to schedule appointments at the border for release into the U.S. interior.

Biden is set to have about 30,000 foreign nationals released into the U.S. interior every month via the migrant mobile app, and already more than 30,000 have been released since the app’s start date in mid-January.

Foreign nationals using the migrant mobile app have a 99 percent success rate of getting released into the U.S. interior after scheduling their appointments at the border, data shows.

Susan Rice To Leave Biden Admin Amid Migrant Child Labor Scandal

Rights, John Fund and Hans von Spakovsky outlined in their

2014 book, “Obama’s Enforcer: Eric Holder’s Justice Department.”

Many families in Third World Countries have large numbers of children.  If, for argument sake 25 million illegal aliens were to participate in the Biden/Harris Amnesty and if the average alien has four children, we could witness an immediate influx of 100 million alien children enter the United States! MICHAEL CUTLER.

Democrats are also trying to split the GOP by spotlighting the planned E-Verify curbs on the hiring of illegals by farm companies. Those curbs are being denounced by Rep. Dan Newhouse (R-WA), who owns several orchards in Washington state, according to the New York Times:

It’s necessary to “have a legal pathway for people to come in and be able to work,” said Representative Dan Newhouse, Republican of Washington State, himself a farmer, in an interview. He noted that Congress would have to authorize new immigrant visas alongside mandating E-Verify to avoid a devastating blow to the agricultural sector.

GOP Spending Cuts Protect Biden’s Migration Slush Fund

President Joe Biden is spending billions of dollars to import more illegal migrants, but the House GOP is not using the nation’s debt-limit crisis to cut the pro-migration spending.

Biden needs the GOP to OK a $1.5 trillion expansion of the nation’s $31.4 trillion debt limit to allow more government borrowing. But to get that OK, the GOP is demanding $130 billion in spending cuts in 2024– but not any cuts to Biden’s migration programs.

The absence of cuts to pro-migration spending will allow Biden’s pro-migration chief, Alejandro Mayorkas, to spend more than a billion dollars this year to catch and release millions of illegals for use by Fortune 500 companies and investors.

The GOP’s failure to seek cuts means that immigration reformers can only hope for spending cuts in the end-of-year 2024 appropriations bills.

Biden’s deputies ” have been using money that has been appropriated for [migration] enforcement for [the opposite task of] processing [migrants into the United States], and that needs to stop,” said Ira Mehlman, communications director at the Federation for American Immigration Reform.

WATCH: Thousands of Migrants Processed in One U.S. Border Town in a Single Night

“When they write the appropriations bills [at year-end], they need to make very, very clear in there that you can’t use this money for processing [migrants] … [They] need to be enforcing the law with it,” he told Breitbart News.

The GOP’s plan to trim 2024 federal spending by $130 billion would reduce spending on a medley of programs. It faces a vote on Wednesday.

The targeted programs include food stamps, student-loan giveaways, energy programs, enforcement by the Internal Revenue Services, and welfare programs, according to a review by Phillip Swagel, director of the Congressional Budget Office. But there is no mention of the border, migration, immigration, enforcement, asylum, or parole in the CBO report or the underlying bill,

So far, Biden has rejected the GOP’s proposed spending cuts.

The lack of spending cuts is the result of a powerplay by pro-business, establishment Republicans.

GOP leaders are not free to pick to programs for cuts. House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) has only a handful of votes to spare in the House, so his plan needs to be supported by nearly all GOP members.

On April 25, Politico reported:

The Californian Republican spent the day holding back-to-back meetings with leadership allies and key holdouts to shore up support before a tentative vote Wednesday. By Tuesday evening, though, the GOP’s whip count remained short of the votes needed for passage, with a cohort of Midwestern Republicans demanding changes to a major tax rollback in the bill.

Business-backed, pro-migration GOP members are using their voting power to prevent any migration cuts.

For example, business-backed Rep. Tony Gonzales (R-TX), has promised to vote against the debt limit bill if the GOP tries to shut down Biden’s inflow of asylum migrants. “Bring unchristian anti-immigrant bills to the floor and I am a NO on the debt ceiling,” Gonzales declared via Twitter.

Gonzales’ mandated donor reports show that one of his biggest donors is the $9 trillion Blackrock investment fund.

His views match his donors’ economic interests.

He says he wants to stop illegal migration — and also that he wants companies to be able to legally import as many cheap and compliant foreign workers for Americans’ jobs as they wish.  The inflow “needs to be where anybody who wants to come and work can do so,” Gonzales told Semafor.com for an April 9 post.

“It is time for the Republicans to deliver on promises that have been made” to voters, Mehlman responded, adding:

I don’t want to single out individual members, but there has been a history where the Republicans have made promises on this issue and then not delivered. Here we are yet again, faced with another opportunity and we’ll we’ll see how they do.

The Biden migration has already added at least four million people to the nation’s population.

That flood was urged and welcomed by business groups because it cuts Americans’ blue-collar wages and white-collar salaries. It also reduces marketplace pressure to invest in productivity-boosting technologyheartland states, and overseas markets. and it reduces economic pressure on the federal government to deal with the drug and “Deaths of Despair” crises. Because of that policy, some Americans have been killed, and many more have lost jobs and wages.

Also, many additional foreigners have been killed, or have been trafficked into indentured service throughout the United States, because of the administration’s refusal to enforce migration laws.

DHS Recognizes Mass Fraud in Huge White-Collar Visa Program

The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services Agency (USCIS) of the Department of Homeland Security has admitted that those registering for the H-1B white-collar visa worker program may be committing large-scale blatant fraud, diverting wealth and careers from myriad U.S. college graduates.

More than 400,000 duplicate requests for H-1B work permits were submitted by companies for 96,000 foreigners, according to an April 28 statement by deputies of Biden’s pro-migration border chief, Alejandro Mayorkas.

Joe Biden’s DHS ignored the damage to Americans as they worried about the fraud’s impact on foreigners in their April 27 post:

The large number of eligible registrations for beneficiaries with multiple eligible registrations – much larger than in previous years – has raised serious concerns that some may have tried to gain an unfair advantage by working together to submit multiple registrations on behalf of the same beneficiary. [Emphasis added]

The 408,891 duplicative requests outnumber the 350,103 non-duplicative requests — many of which used more sophisticated fraud techniques.

The duplicative requests debunk the core claim used to justify the program: that the H-1B workers are needed for specific unfilled jobs that cannot be filled by Americans.

The duplicative applications corroborate the core criticism of the program: that it is intended to help CEOs replace outspoken American professionals with cheap and submissive foreign workers.

The blatant H-1B fraud is just one slice of the many non-immigrant worker programs that keep at least 1.5 million low-wage foreign graduates in middle-class jobs needed by indebted U.S. college graduates.

This vast, fraud-ridden archipelago of foreign contract workers successfully suppresses white-collar salaries, subordinates professionals’ priorities to their CEOs’ stock-maximizing goals, and gradually deflates the political power of the U.S. professional class.

“The program is doing exactly what it was designed to do,” said Kevin Lynn, founder of the U.S. TechWorkers advocacy group.

He told Breitbart News, “That goal is to displace seasoned tech professionals in America, and it’s not only tech anymore — it is accounting and other back-office operations. The longer-term intent of the programs was to allow consulting companies to create a workforce that could displace American workers, then through knowledge transfer, move those jobs over to a low-ranked country where you’re paying $6 an hour … So there’s nothing unintended about its consequences — it’s all by design,” he explained.

“In 2022, median annual pay was $52,000 for Americans with a bachelor’s degree,” according to a February 2023 report by Bloomberg. “That’s a 7.4% decline in inflation-adjusted terms — the steepest plunge since 2004, erasing nearly all of the pandemic-era gains. It was sharpest for those earning the most.”

So far, GOP leaders have done little or nothing to use this economic issue to win more voters from insecure, swing-voting college graduates. For example, Rep. Mark Green (R-TN), the chairman of the House homeland security committee, has yet to hold a hearing on the visa worker programs.

Instead, donor-influenced GOP leaders woo many blue-collar voters by promising — and so far, failing — to stop illegal migration over the U.S. border.

The H-1B Program

The H-1B visas are extremely valuable to foreigners because they provide two three-year work permits plus a path to the hugely valuable prizes of green cards and citizenship.

They are also extremely valuable to companies because they allow CEOs to earn huge profits by dangling citizenship to foreign graduates in exchange for several years of cheap and compliant labor. The Economic Policy Institute reported on one lawsuit in 2021:

Thousands of skilled migrants with H-1B visas working as subcontractors at well-known corporations like Disney, FedEx, Google, and others appear to have been underpaid by at least $95 million. Victims include not only the H-1B workers but also the U.S. workers who are either displaced or whose wages and working conditions degrade when employers are allowed to underpay skilled migrant workers with impunity.

Moreover, the government uses a $10-per-ticket lottery to annually give away more than 100,000 H-1B visas to companies and foreign graduates. This careless giveaway creates a bonanza for the middlemen CEOs who apply for visas on behalf of fee-paying foreign graduates. In effect, the companies can act like ticket scalpers for people trying to get into the United States.

The blatant H-1B fraud echoes widespread fraud and abuse in other non-immigrant programs.

These programs include the H-2A program for agriculture workers, the “Unaccompanied Alien Children” gateway for teenage workers, the B-1/B-2 visa for white-collar visitors, the E-2 visa for franchise managers, the Optional Practical Training (OPT) program for foreign graduates of U.S. universities, the H-2B seasonal worker program, the L-1 employee transfer program, and the J-1 visas given out by the Department of State.

Amid pressure from media executives, U.S. media professionals have no authority — and therefore, little personal interest — to track the large-scale outsourcing of professional-class jobs that are needed by their peers and children. For example, the New York Times‘ national editor, Jia Lynn Yang, forcefully denies the right of Americans to their own borders and national labor market, saying, “What difference is there between us, with our precious [legal immigration and citizenship] papers, and the people we see at our border who are dying to come in? There is none.”

The Visa Workforce

These programs are used to keep at least 1.5 million foreign graduates in jobs at many U.S. companies — especially by the Fortune 500 and their layers of subcontracting companies.

The basic nature of the fraud is that Indian-born hiring managers are allowed to fire American professionals and then sell the jobs to networks of Indian migrants. The migrants buy white-collar jobs via kickbacks to the hiring managers, and the managers use their power over work permits and green card applications to enforce workplace compliance and silence about Indian-style workplace corruption.

But this organized gutting of the American professional class is overseen by American executives and investors, frequently expanded by lobbyist-influenced federal agencies, and hidden beneath the media’s emotional coverage of illegal-migration controversies.

The professional-class replacement is periodically trimmed by U.S. law agencies and is weakly resisted by politicians zig-zagging between donors and voters.

Fraud is easy for Indian migrants and Indian-born managers because U.S. citizens and federal officials have little or no ability to recognize financial transactions that can be made via multiple Indian languages, family networks, and multiple legal jurisdictions.

Moreover, India’s government has relied on the visa program as a primary way to build up its economy and vigorously lobbies in D.C. to preserve and expand the visa worker programs.

U.S. Tech Workers spotlighted the predatory relationship between U.S investors and India, saying:

· IBM: Arvind Krishna became CEO in 2020, and the company filed 118 Perm applications and 3,605 H-1B visa applications for 3,605 workers. In 2021 they filed 213 Perm applications and 2,118 H1-B visa applications for 2,118 Workers, and it should be noted that half of IBM’s workforce is in India. (2020 was the year of the Covid Pandemic and H-1B visa applications were down across the spectrum.)

· Google: Sundar Pichai became CEO in 2015, and the company filed 831 Perm applications and 2,872 H-1B visa applications for 2,872 workers. In 2021 they filed 2,398 Perm applications and 15,562 H1-B visa applications for 15,562 Workers.

· Microsoft: Satya Nadella became CEO in 2014, and the company filed 938 Perm applications and 2,989 H-1B visa applications for 4,566 workers. In 2021 they filed 3,089 Perm applications and 11,763 H1-B visa applications for 49,065 Workers.

· Twitter: Parag Agrawal became CTO in 2017, and the company filed 28 Perm applications and 209 H-1B visa applications for 615 Workers. In 2021, they filed 77 Perm applications and 732 H-1B visa applications for 732 workers.

This population-wide displacement of American professionals has damaged America’s productivity, innovation, and political stability.

Biden’s business-backed deputies want to import even more foreign workers for Fortune 500 investors, even though migration reduces Americans’ wages and corporate investment in labor-saving productivity.

On January 8, Mayorkas claimed that U.S. employers needed more workers:

The labor shortage in the United States is one powerful example of how desperately we need to fix our broken immigration system.  You know, we look to the north … Canada realized that it has a 1-million-person labor shortage there, and they are bringing in approximately 1.4 million migrants this year to address that labor shortage. Our programs — our H-2A, our H-2B, our skilled worker programs — are far outdated to really meet the economic needs as well as the economic opportunities [for migrants] that immigration can provide.

Federal Response to Fraud

The agency statement threatens perjury charges against the company executives that filed the duplicative requests while ignoring other categories of fraud, saying, “We remind the public that at the time each registration is submitted, each prospective petitioner is required to sign an attestation, under penalty of perjury.”

But the Wall Street Journal report suggests that few of the 2024 cases of blatant fraud will be punished:

Though it isn’t technically illegal for a foreign worker to have multiple companies submit visa applications on their behalf, companies submitting applications must attest that they have a real [unfilled] job for the employee in question if they win a visa. If companies that win a visa then quickly contract an employee out to third parties [for another job], or lay off an employee on the visa [from the identified job] so he or she can switch companies, that could potentially amount to fraud.

[Some] companies have been referred to federal law-enforcement agencies for potential criminal prosecution, a USCIS official said …. [Also] officials hope to disqualify visa applicants if they committed fraud to boost their chances.

The 2023 fraud is a repeat of similar fraud in 2022, but federal officials have done little to curb the program’s expanding damage to U.S. graduates — or even pressure from immigration lawyers for the foreign workers.

In 2021, Biden’s deputies quickly scrapped a reform that would have assigned the H-1B visas to the companies that offered the highest salaries. The Wall Street Journal article outlined a very tepid and slow response in 2023:

The government has proposed raising the registration fee to $215 [per H-1B visa request], a change that will likely be in effect by next year’s lottery, and the agency said it plans to write regulations to try to prevent further fraud.

The migrant inflow has successfully forced down Americans’ wages and boosted rents and housing prices.

The population inflow also reduces the political clout of native-born Americans because the population replacement allows elites to divorce themselves from the needs and interests of ordinary Americans.

In many speeches, Mayorkas says he is building a mass migration system to deliver workers to wealthy employers and investors and “equity” to poor foreigners. The nation’s border laws are subordinate to elites’ opinion about “the values of our country,” Mayorkas claims.

Migration — and especially labor migration — is unpopular among swing voters.

Analysis conducted last year reveal that 71 percent of tech workers in Silicon Valley are foreign-born, while the tech industry in the San Francisco, Oakland, and Hayward area is made up of 50 percent foreign-born tech workers.

Despite his Wall Street, big business, Big Tech, and billionaire donations, Biden has attempted to portray himself as a small-town fighter from Scranton, Pennsylvania

By failures of border security, a lack of the enforcement of our immigration laws from within  the interior of the United States and huge numbers of visas for high tech workers, the lives and livelihoods of Americans and their children, are being stolen by America’s corrupt political elite who are doing the bidding of those who provide them with huge “Campaign Contributions” (Orwellian euphemism for bribes) pursue legislation that is diametrically opposed to the best interests of America and Americans.

Lawsuit Exposes B-1 Visa Fraud in College-Grad Jobs

American professional Michael Harmon has just earned about $1 million by exposing visa fraud within an Indian company that does subcontract work for Fortune 500 companies.

The company defrauded the government by importing Indian college-graduate workers on B-1 visas that are only for non-working business visitors. Harmon exposed the visa fraud and earned a share of the $9.9 million federal fine with his Qui Tam lawsuit.

The Department of Justice said:

L&T Technology Services, LTD (“LTTS”), a company based in India, with U.S. offices in Edison New Jersey, has agreed to pay $9,928,000 to resolve allegations that between 2014 and 2019, LTTS underpaid visa fees owed to the United States by acquiring inexpensive B-1 visas, rather than more expensive H-1B visas, in alleged violation of the False Claims Act.

“The B-1 visa is the main vehicle to cheat American [college graduates] out of jobs,” said Jay Palmer, an expert on forced labor and human trafficking, and a former advisor to President Donald Trump. He continued:

Companies encourage [foreign] individuals to get a B-1 visa to come to the United States and work. They work these workers on 1099s [as contractors] with no benefits and they pay them through third-party consulting companies. Sometimes, the worker will be able to get an Individual Tax Identification Number and work undetectably for 10 years.

The fraud behind this visa is more rampant than any other visa we have in the United States.

Palmer applauded Harmon the whistleblower, saying, “Being a whistleblower is not an easy task — you have to have intestinal fortitude.”

Several other B-1 qui tam lawsuits are being litigated.

Palmer is familiar with the B-1 fraud because he works with many Indians who have overstayed their visas and are looking for ways to get legal status.

The B-1 fraud is easy to accomplish and rarely detected or penalized by federal agencies, Palmer said:

All you have to do is have an outbound and a return flight to the United States –that’s all. What they do is they get an outbound flight [to the United States]… and they cancel their return, get the money and go to work.

They’re coming over here legally but becoming illegal [by working]. When they’re over here, they’re getting driver’s licenses, some are even getting Social Security numbers … they’re not supposed to, but they’re still issued.

They come to the United States and they never leave. Most people working in a convenience store are over here on B-1 visas [often working for foreign managers with E-2 visas]. Hundreds of thousands are working on white-collar jobs.

The fraud is difficult for ordinary Americans to detect — even when it is happening in the next cubicle.

The commonplace B-1 fraud is disguised amid the churning population of  1.5 million-plus foreign graduates who are working in the United States under a wide variety of legal visas.

Those temporary work visas include H-1Bs, TNs, L-1s, J-1s, and the “Optional Practical Training” work permit for foreign graduates of U.S. colleges. The legal visa workers often switch workplaces because they are employed by Indian-owned subcontractors, and often go home to avoid an obvious overstay of their temporary visas.

The B-1 fraud problem is further hidden by foreign graduates who overstay their visas to become illegal gig workers in the layers of subcontractors under Fortune 500 companies.

The huge flood of foreign college graduates is forcing down the workplace clout and the salaries of American professionals because the foreign workers will accept very low salaries to stay in the United States. In February, Bloomberg News reported:

In 2022, median annual pay was $52,000 for Americans with a bachelor’s degree, according to data released by the New York Federal Reserve Friday. That’s a 7.4% decline in inflation-adjusted terms — the steepest plunge since 2004, erasing nearly all of the pandemic-era gains. It was sharpest for those earning the most.

The government-delivered inflow of foreign workers is pushing many Americans out of white-collar technology jobs and into lower-wage, blue-collar jobs.

“I have seen the [hiring] system in the backend, and it is so appalling to see that there is so much [resume] forgery being done, there’s so much of corruption being done, that it is almost to the level back in India,” Aabha, an Indian contract worker in North Carolina, told Breitbart News. She continued:

I have met so many [American] people who are graduates and so much more knowledgeable than the Indians that I see in my regular day — and they are [saying] like “Okay, because we are not experienced, we are not getting [U.S. technology] jobs.” So they decide to do a blue collar job. They’re walking into Walmart, they’re walking into Best Buy.

And these Indians, the team that I work with, they cannot even speak a single sentence in English without making any mistakes.

Yet President Joe Biden’s officials are trying to import as many foreign workers as they can, even as Fortune 500 companies fire thousands of American professionals.

“The top 30 H-1B employers hired 34,000 new H-1B workers in 2022 and laid off at least 85,000 workers in 2022 and early 2023,” said an April 11 report by the left-wing Economic Policy Institute (EPI).

Those layoffs include many visa workers, who are required by law to return home once their job disappears.

In response, Biden’s U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) agency is allowing the laid-off H-1B visa workers to get six-month B-1 visas so they have more time to win new jobs that are also being sought by U.S. graduates.

“[We are] aware, of course, of the many recent layoffs in the technology sector, [so] we published options and useful information for [foreign] employees across the country facing termination and those in this vulnerable situation,” said USCIS director Ur Jaddou said April 11.

“Searching for employment in the United States does not fall under the meaning of a legitimate business activity for the purpose of B-1 visa eligibility,” responded Elizabeth Jacobs, a lawyer with the Center for Immigration Studies.

Very few of the illegally-working B-1 graduates are deported, mostly because of Silicon Valley’s huge influence in the White House and in both parties. This week, for example, Indian media outlets reported that four House members from California are pressuring USCIS to ensure that laid-off Indian workers are not sent home. The legislators are Reps. Zoe Lofgren, Ro Khanna, Jimmy Panetta, and Kevin Mullin.

The Democrats’ support for foreign workers over their own swing-voting, college-educated voters could be an opportunity for GOP strategists. But GOP leaders show no willingness to reject the cheap-labor demands of their own business donors.

Biden’s federal agencies also make the white-collar fraud easier by bundling B-2 tourist visas with the B-1 visitor visas, Palmer said. “They should separate these and charge more for them,” he said.

“The United States issued over 16 million of these [B-1/B-2 visas] a year and they’re nontraceable, basically — this is the same visa that some of the 9/11 terrorists came in on,” Palmer added.
Breitbart has covered some of the many cases of B-1 fraud within the Fortune 500’s pyramids of Indian-managed subcontracting companies and gig workers.

In 2013, another Indian firm paid a fine of $33 million for cheating the government as it allegedly replaced American hires with smuggled Indian college graduates.  But most of the B-1 fraud is tolerated by agencies, prosecutors, and politicians. In 2019, Breitbart News reported;

Infosys, one of the biggest Indian outsourcing companies, allegedly cheated 500 American graduates out of jobs over 11 years from 2006 to 2017 — and will only have to pay $800,000, without admitting guilt, in a settlement with California’s attorney general.

The attorney general, Xavier Becerra, now runs the Department of Health and Human Services for President Joe Biden.

However, under President Donald Trump, the reform-minded officials in the agencies began to crack down on the B-1 fraud. “They tried but it didn’t work,” Palmer said.

Report: Facebook to Cut Thousands of Jobs in Latest Corporate Downsizing

Reuters

February 22, 2023

(Reuters)—Facebook-parent Meta Platforms Inc is planning a fresh round of job cuts in a reorganization and downsizing effort that could affect thousands of workers, the Washington Post reported on Wednesday.

The company did not immediately respond to a Reuters request for comment.

Last year, the social media giant said it will let go of 13% of its workforce, or more than 11,000 employees, as it grappled with soaring costs and a weak advertising market.

Meta plans to push some leaders into lower-level roles without direct reports, flattening the layers of management between top boss Mark Zuckerberg and the company's interns, the Washington Post reported, citing a person familiar with the matter.

Zuckerberg’s FWD.us Claims No Amnesty Ensures Midterm Defeat for Democrats

NEIL MUNRO

The Facebook-funded FWD.us investor advocacy group is touting the claim that Democrat turnout will drop in 2022 if the party cannot pass an amnesty through Congress.

But that claim is toothless, in large part because recent polls show that many Americans of Latino ancestry are increasingly voting for the GOP, precisely because GOP leaders oppose the amnesty-amplified wave of cheap labor into their communities.

The claim is being made by pro-migration groups, including the leaders of the National Day Laborer Organizing Network (NDLON) which denounced the Senate’s parliamentarian’s decision to exclude the parole amnesty for 6.5 million illegals from the draft Build Back Better spending plan.

NDLON declared Thursday night:

Democrats’ excuses for their failure, for their incompetence, and for their insincerity will be the ammunition used by xenophobes in the Republican Party to retake control of the federal government in upcoming elections. Inaction on immigration legalization risks further propelling Trumpism in every possible way … No more excuses. Where there is a will, there is a way.

The NDLON group represents illegal migrants, most of whom work for very low wages, and none of whom can vote in U.S. elections.

Rep. Lou Correa (D-Calif.) is making the same claim, according to Bloomberg, which reported that he “warned that Democrats would face wrath from voters in the 2022 elections if they don’t secure a citizenship path”

But the NDLON claim is being echoed by the politically powerful investor class, who use imported workers, consumers, and renters to spike the value of their Wall Street investments.

Todd Schulte is the president of the FWD.us advocacy group for investors, which gets about $30 million a year from the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative to push for more migration. On Thursday night, he tweeted:

Schulte’s deputy also pushed a hard line:

Unsurprisingly, FWD.us has a hidden agenda in the amnesty debate.

The establishment media extensively cover the proposed parole amnesty for 6.5 million illegal migrants. But the media largely ignores  two other proposed changes to immigration laws that would deliver huge benefits to West Coast investors who created the FWD.us advocacy group in 2013.

For example, the BBB legislation would allow the White House to provide green cards to millions of favored migrants, including perhaps three million “chain migrants” selected by recent immigrants. This open-doors policy would provide investors with millions of new profit-generating consumers, renters, and workers.

The BBB legislation would also allow President Joe Biden’s pro-migration deputies to sell green cards to at least one million migrants who have taken many of the Fortune 500 jobs sought by skilled U.S. college graduates. This change would allow Fortune 500 companies to hire many more foreign graduates with dangled offers of fast-track green cards. These workers are usually imported via the visa worker programs, such as the H-1B and Optional Practical Training program.

But those two benefits for the Fortune 500 investors may be dropped if the Democrat senators cannot also get their amnesty for illegal migrants.

On Friday, an advocacy group for corporate-funded immigration lawyers urged Congress to keep pushing the green card giveaway, even after the amnesty was nixed:

“The corporate guys are riding on perceived sympathy for the illegal alien population in order to get their immigration giveaways,” said Robert Law, the director of regulatory affairs and policy at the Center for Immigration Studies. He continued:

The Hispanic population knows immigration is a pocketbook issue for them as well, and mass illegal immigration — plus legal immigration — hurts the economic opportunities of Hispanic Americans or the black community, or any people who typically are competing at the lower end of the economic spectrum.

The Senate’s debate referee has not issued any judgments on the two green card proposals.

Zuckerberg’s FWD.us network of coastal investors stands to gain from more cheap labor, government-aided consumers, and urban renters. The network has funded many astroturf campaigns, urged Democrats to not talk about the economic impact of migration, and manipulated coverage by the TV networks and the print media.

FWD.us’also spotlights many family dramas amid the inflow of border migrants. This focus helps keep reporters from recognizing the huge pocketbook impact of the establishment’s economic policy of mass migration. The resulting family-drama coverage also keeps many young progressives from noticing that the extraction migration policy drives up their rents and cuts their salaries.

The breadth of investors who founded and funded FWD.us was hidden from casual visitors to the group’s website sometime in the last few months. But copies exist at other sites.

Bidens Chief of Staff Worked on Behalf of Big Tech for Endless H-1B Visas

JOHN BINDER

Democrat Joe Biden has chosen Ronald Klain to be his chief of staff should he enter the White House in January. Klain worked on behalf of Silicon Valley executives and their interests, which include providing tech corporations with an endless supply of H-1B foreign visa workers and more free trade.

Klain, who was made Biden’s incoming chief of staff this week, served on the executive council of TechNet — a firm that promotes the interests of Silicon Valley’s tech corporations in Washington, D.C. Klain served on the council alongside executives from the Oracle Corporation, Hewlett-Packard Enterprise, Google, Visa, Apple, and Microsoft.

TechNet, most recently, joined a lawsuit against President Trump’s reforms to the H-1B visa program that sought to prioritize unemployed Americans for jobs rather than allowing businesses to continue importing foreign workers.

TechNet is one of the groups that has filed an amicus brief to oppose the new regulations on H-1B visas. https://t.co/ofY4GJ2sVR

Trump’s seeking to force businesses to hire Americans over importing foreign visa workers is an affront to Silicon Valley’s tech corporations, those represented by TechNet, who advocate for an endless flow of H-1B foreign visa workers.

There are about 650,000 H-1B visa workers in the U.S. at any given moment. Americans are often laid off and forced to train their foreign replacements, as highlighted by Breitbart News. More than 85,000 Americans annually potentially lose their jobs to foreign labor through the H-1B visa program.

Analysis conducted in 2018 discovered that 71 percent of tech workers in Silicon Valley, California, are foreign-born, while the tech industry in the San Francisco, Oakland, and Hayward area is made up of 50 percent foreign-born tech workers. Up to 99 percent of H-1B visa workers imported by the top eight outsourcing firms are from India.

TechNet’s listed immigration goals include allowing corporations to dictate the annual level of legal immigration to the United States and the elimination of per-country caps that would effectively let India and China monopolize the U.S. green card system.

The group’s goals on trade are in direct opposition to President Trump’s economic nationalist agenda that has imposed tariffs on foreign imports from China, Canada, Europe, and other parts of the globe.

TechNet’s trade goals include reducing “tariff and non-tariff barriers to information, communications, and advanced energy technology products, services, and investments” as well as “protections for the free flow of data across borders…”

While Biden has vowed to flood the U.S. labor market with more foreign workers to compete against Americans for jobs, he has shied away from questions on whether he will eliminate tariffs on foreign imports that were imposed by Trump. Such elimination of tariffs would be a boon to multinational corporations that offshore their production and jobs overseas only to import their products back into the U.S. market, often with no penalties for doing so.

New York City Mayor Eric Adams (D) told would-be illegal aliens in Mexico City on Thursday that they face a “nightmare” scenario if they cross the United States-Mexico border and travel to New York City.

As Breitbart News reported, Adams is traveling to Mexico, Ecuador, and Colombia to warn would-be illegal aliens not to travel to the sanctuary city of New York City.

While visiting Mexico City on Thursday, Adams suggested that would-be illegal aliens will end up in a “nightmare” scenario if they travel to New York City after crossing the southern border.

“I say to those who are pursuing the American dream, it should not turn into a nightmare,” Adams said:

When you see children making the long trek through a jungle and then having to live in conditions of congregate shelters, of not having the real environment that they deserve, inability to work, it just makes it extremely challenging. [Emphasis added]

Although Adams has said illegal immigration “will destroy” New York City, he — along with Gov. Kakthy Hochul (D-NY) — has not asked President Joe Biden to stop the United States’ expansive Catch and Release network, which is freeing at least 60,000 border crossers and illegal aliens into the U.S. interior every month.

Instead, Adams has turned New York City’s migrant crisis into a slush fund for particular industries hoping to secure millions in taxpayer dollars via city contracts. Last month, one report indicated that the city was shelling out $35 million on just two migrant hotels.

Likewise, Adams’ deputies told the media Wednesday that hotels are actually hiking prices specifically to get more lucrative contracts out of the city to house border crossers and illegal aliens.

Since the spring of 2022, nearly 120,000 border crossers and illegal aliens have arrived in New York City — set to cost local taxpayers about $12 billion by the middle of next year.

Cuellar: Biden Won’t Show People Being Deported Because He’s Scared of Activists

On Thursday’s broadcast of CNN’s “The Lead,” Rep. Henry Cuellar (D-TX) stated that the Biden administration needs to show people being deported, but won’t do it because they don’t want to upset immigration advocates.

Cuellar said that he thinks building a wall won’t work and the key is to get Mexico to do more and deport people. He added, “This administration is doing some deportations, but they don’t show them. They’re afraid to show people going back like President Obama and Secretary Jeh Johnson did. You’ve got to show repercussions, and you’ve got to show video of people going back, and not just streaming across over here.”

Host Jake Tapper then asked, “Why do you think they’re afraid to show the repercussions? Why do you think they’re afraid to show people being deported and going back south of the border?”

Cuellar answered, “I’ll tell you, I had a conversation with somebody there, and this is what they said, we don’t want to get our immigration advocates angry at us. That’s it. That’s what somebody told me there.”

Cuellar added that while Biden’s handling of the border has improved, it still needs more improvement.

NPR’s Inskeep: A Chunk of Dems Generally Favor Immigration, But Don’t Want ‘Problems in Their Backyards’

On Thursday’s broadcast of CNN’s “OutFront,” NPR “Morning Edition” co-host Steve Inskeep stated that there is a contingent of Democrats who “don’t want problems in their cities, problems in their backyards, even if they favor immigration in general.”

Host Erin Burnett asked, “This has become at the core of politics in a way, perhaps, it never has been before. And that is because it has moved into big, northern, liberal cities, right? It is now in people’s communities, as you say. … And I know you talk about border walls, a wall versus barriers. Biden has said he’s clear, a wall, for an example, won’t work. But the reality is is whatever the word you use — and, as you point out, maybe it is not just a matter of semantics — but nonetheless, from a political point of view, it does seem to fly in the face of some of his most core campaign promises. … So, Steve, how does he deal with that? That’s, of course, what he said during the campaign.”

Inskeep responded, “Well, this is a reality that American politicians have always faced. There’s always been fear and anxiety about immigrants and immigration. … Lincoln had to deal with this, had to deal with what was called the nativist movement, and he had to figure out how to appeal to nativist voters politically, even though he disagreed with them on the issue. And every generation of American politicians since has faced the same challenge. And that is definitely true of Democrats, who have a big part of their coalition who are immigrants and pro-immigrant, but have other parts of their coalition who have certain doubts or at least they don’t want problems in their cities, problems in their backyards, even if they favor immigration in general.”

Mayorkas Will Build a Few Miles of Border Wall

President Joe Biden’s pro-migration border chief says he will build several more miles of President Donald Trump’s border wall to divert migrants away from several gaps that he has left open since 2021.

The extra miles of border are not intended to stop the job-seeking economic migrants. Instead, Alejandro Mayorkas, the Cuban-born Secretary of Homeland Security, is asking migrants to safely register at the official gates along the border so they can be quickly released into U.S. society.

It is not clear when the extra walls will be built. However, video of the construction can be used by Democrats during the 2024 elections.

Mayorkas’ Department of Homeland Security announced its plans on Wednesday in the government’s Federal Register of Regulations:

There is presently an acute and immediate need to construct physical barriers and roads in the vicinity of the border of the United States in order to prevent unlawful entries into the United States in the project areas pursuant to sections 102(a) and 102(b) of IIRIRA.

The six-page document lists the short gaps but does not state the total length of the wall to be built.

The document says funding to fill the gaps comes from money that was provided by Congress to Trump in 2019.

Mayorkas has had the legal authority and funds to build many miles of wall. But he instead has allowed more than five million wage-cutting, rent-spiking migrants to walk, fly, or sneak across the border since January 2021. In September, for example, media reports said he allowed at least 260,000 migrants across the border.

Mayorkas’ migrants can be used by U.S. employers to replace unwanted older and sicker workers, parents encumbered by children, or Americans with criminal records and drug addictions.

Filling the gaps may reduce Mayorkas’ record number of drowned migrants. Migrant deaths in 2023 are beating records set under Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama.
