Title 42 Countdown: 700,000 Migrants in Mexico Waiting to Rush U.S. Border
As many as 700,000 migrants, a foreign population larger than Boston, Massachusetts, are currently in Mexico waiting to rush the United States-Mexico border when President Joe Biden ends the public health authority known as Title 42 on May 11.
In 2020, in the midst of the Chinese coronavirus crisis, former President Donald Trump invoked the public health authority known as Title 42 at the border, ensuring that federal immigration officials have been able to quickly return millions of illegal aliens to Mexico over the last three years.
On May 11, though, Biden will end Title 42 and expand its Catch and Release network to quickly move border crossers and illegal aliens into the U.S. interior — including deploying 1,500 U.S. troops to the border to free up federal immigration officials to process arrivals at a faster pace.
During a Yuma County Board of Supervisors meeting this week, supervisor Jonathan Lines revealed that Department of Homeland Security (DHS) officials have warned them that as many as 700,000 migrants are waiting in Mexico to rush the border when Title 42 ends.
“Border Patrol shared with us their intelligence that there are approximately 700,000, as of three weeks ago, in the shelters in Mexico waiting to come into the United States,” Lines said. “They also shared with us that at the Darian Gap which is at the Panama Canal, they’ve seen a 500 percent surge in people crossing over that gap on their way up to the United States.”
Rep. Andy Biggs’ (R-AZ) office confirmed to Breitbart News that they too have been told by officials of the looming 700,000 migrants waiting in Mexico.
Such a “mass migration event,” as Lines said DHS officials called it, would see a foreign population arriving at the border that exceeds the resident population of cities like Boston and Nashville, Tennessee.
Randy Clark/Breitbart Texas“Right now, all of the people that are coming across the border, 40 percent of them are expelled under Title 42 in Yuma, Arizona,” Lines said. “So 40 percent of the people coming across are immediately expelled and they’re flown back to their countries of origin. That goes away on May 11; they are no longer processed out.”
Yuma County Sheriff Leon Wilmot noted that his law enforcement officers have their hands tied, unable to apprehend and detain border crossers and illegal aliens, as federal law would have them charged with kidnapping.
“[If we could arrest], I would fill the jail in a day with the amount of individuals that we encounter trespassing,” Wilmot said.
“International labor organizations and the cartels are facilitating this trade,” Lines noted. “They’re making a significant amount of money — 27 million were forced into labor over the last two years [and] 6.3 million [forced] into sexual exploitation.”
Americans in U.S. border towns like Yuma are especially hard hit by illegal immigration.
In February, Dr. Robert Trenschel of the Yuma Regional Medical Center detailed how in just one year, local taxpayers were left with $26 million in unpaid medical bills from border crossers and illegal aliens who showed up to the hospital needed care. That amount is set to increase, Trenschel said, when Title 42 ends.
Following Title 42’s end, close to 400,000 border crossers and illegal aliens are projected to arrive at the border every month. Such a monthly inflow of illegal immigration would exceed the resident population of New Orleans, Louisiana.

When are Democrat voters going to wake up and hold their representatives accountable?
It really is bizarre that there are so many people in this country that continue to vote for Democrats every election cycle -- at all three levels of government: federal, state and local -- when economic and social problems continue to get worse almost by the day.
During Biden's administration, inflation, crime and out-of-control illegal immigration have been the most notable. It's a reminder of Einstein's famous aphorism "the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results". This describes the Democrat electorate in nutshell, except for all of the institutional elites to whom these chronic problems don't apply. They just sit back and virtue-signal their wokeness while living comfortably and securely in their gated communities.
The facts and metrics that are demonstrably true seem to be ignored every election day. Biden’s administration has actually made life worse for everyone, including every single person within the Democrat voter base regardless of race, sex and ethnicity.
Of course, those in the upper classes, so many of whom vote for Democrats out of a seriously misguided noblesse oblige, are never seriously affected by bad Democrat policies they support. It was Bill Gates who convinced Joe Manchin, senator of West Virginia to cast the deciding vote for the Inflationary Reduction Act that's now projected to add an additional $1 trillion in more new spending under Biden.
But the financially secure suburban white women are more numerous and important when it comes to votes. They seem to be more concerned about legal abortion than economic policies that would benefit single mothers and families in the middle and the bottom, who struggle to pay their bills and put food on table month-in-and-month-out. And generally speaking, the numbers of those struggling financially are in the millions if not tens of millions, whereas the number of young women wanting to get an abortion is miniscule in comparison. So wealthy suburban white women who secured Biden’s last election voted on a very narrow social policy that benefits the few versus helping improve the financial well-being of tens of millions.
Under Trump, there was the lowest unemployment for all identity groups in history. All the Democrat voters outside of the wealthy ones essentially cut off their noses to spite their faces when they voted for Biden, who then gave them a hefty pay cut because of the inflation caused by his monstrous spending policies.
And as for all the young progressive voters, especially those who work in the tech industry, they basically voted themselves right out of a job when they voted for Biden. His inflationary policies that tanked the economy are catching up with Apple, Google, Amazon and Facebook and many other tech companies, causing them to layoff tens of thousands.
If you're a millennial or Gen Z, you really should be be wondering why you voted for Biden. For a young black business owner or one working a construction job or driving a truck for a living, the same could be said, when they see how much less their bi-monthly paychecks are going in paying the bills.
You would think that some serious soul-searching would be in order and they would begin questioning their loyalty to the Democrat party, since it has made life much worse.
Democrat voters will see the light and take a hard look at the GOP and how their policies can actually make their life much better financially in so many ways, I hope. The same can be said about the misguided wealthy and financially secure suburban white women, who many political analysts say were the difference in the 2020 elections in putting Biden over the top.
It's time for them to hold elected Democrats accountable and throw the bums out of office to send them a signal that they're not pleased with the current policies that are not improving the lives of anyone except their donors and the billionaire and millionaire classes.

Elissa Slotkin Touts Endorsement from Left-Wing Group Advocating No Cash Bail, Amnesty for Illegals
Rep. Elissa Slotkin (D-MI), who is running to fill one of Michigan’s U.S. Senate seats in 2024, touted a partnership Wednesday she made with a left-wing group that pushes extreme policy positions such as abolishing cash bail, amnesty for illegals, and ending the filibuster.
On Wednesday, the Youth Vote Champion announced the pledges made by lawmakers and candidates nationwide to engage with Gen Z voters through the 2024 election. The group published a statement from the congresswoman saying that she was “excited to partner” with Youth Vote Champion because Democrats need to “work hard to engage and mobilize young people.”
Shortly after the group announced the pledges, Sloktin said she was “excited” to partner with them again.
“Last year, Michigan had the highest youth voter turnout in the nation, and the results speak for themselves,” she wrote. “I’m excited to partner with @VotersTomorrow as a Youth Vote Champion to help Gen Zers harness their political power and make a difference in our country.”
However, the group she is “excited to partner with” has pushed extreme policy positions such as abolishing cash bail, amnesty for illegals, and ending the filibuster.
- On cash bail, the group explained that it should be abolished because “no one should have to remain in prison for the duration of their case just because they do not have the financial means to pay their bail” and that “cash bail only applies to low-income people, and we need equal justice.”
- On amnesty for illegals, the group says that “immigrants are welcome here.” It supports the ending “the abusive practices of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to prevent them from further terrorizing human being seeking a better life in our nation.”
- On the filibuster, the group says it is a “long-time abused system in the Senate” to block legislation they claim is “popular.” The group thinks the Senate needs to “eliminate the use of the filibuster so that Congress can pass crucial legislation.”
Some of the other policies the group has pushed include the right to guaranteed housing, abolishing tipped wages, wanting universal health care – saying that health care “is a human right,” – implementing a “restorative justice system,” statehood for D.C., and canceling all $1.9 trillion in student loan debt.
Since announcing she would be running for the Senate, whom she partners with and whom she receives endorsements from are the least of her worries.
Last month, Fox News reported that the congresswoman ignored multiple comment requests to say why she signed a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) to talk business behind closed doors with a battery manufacturer with deep ties to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
The report noted that Slotkin and her deputy legislative director, Austin Girelli, signed the agreements to talk with the CCP-affiliated company about building an electric vehicle (EV) battery plant in Big Rapids, Michigan, — which is ultimately outside her district.
Additionally, after the last controversial campaign season, Slotkin and her husband got a divorce after 12 years of marriage.
It followed a very public controversy during the last campaign cycle when she was living in a residence owned by a “lobbyist,” who is a “part-time” corporate “executive” for a pharmaceutical manufacturer receiving millions in federal funding — and who has donated to her campaign — to run for the new congressional seat.
At the time, the “lobbyist” and his family were registered to vote at the same residence where Slotkin resided.
When Slotkin was confronted about the situation during a television debate with her Republican opponent, state Sen. Tom Barrett, she responded to the news anchor asking the questions, calling the attacks “political desperation,” as she claimed to be paying fair market value.
Even though she won the seat in the end, Slotkin’s Republican opponent attacked her by saying there were over 1,500 available apartments in Lansing, Michigan, at the time, yet she was living in the one owned by the executive who donated to her campaign.

Nevada Democrats Dismiss Voter ID as ‘Unconstitutional’ Despite Majority of Voters Supporting It
Top Nevada Democrats are dismissing legislation to enhance election integrity, which would incorporate basic protocols such as voter ID, deeming such “unconstitutional.”
Nevada Democrats — including Assembly Speaker Steve Yeager, state Attorney General Aaron Ford, and Secretary of State Cisco Aguilar — recently held a press conference where they discussed their agenda moving forward. During the press conference, the Nevada Globe’s Megan Barth asked the Democrats about the future of Republican Gov. Joe Lombardo’s proposed legislation, designed to increase the security of elections. In part, the legislation would establish basic requirements, such as voter ID to vote, and repeal the use of universal mail-in voting.
More specifically, SB 405 even requires the Department of Motor Vehicles to issue free voter identification cards, addressing the complaints from the far-left, who consider it too difficult for some to obtain a form of identification.
Per the bill:
Sections 3 and 4 of this bill require: (1) the Department of Motor Vehicles to issue a voter identification card, free of charge, to a registered voter who does not possess one of the acceptable forms of proof of identity and who is experiencing financial hardship; and (2) the registered voter to submit certain information with an application for the identification card. Section 5 of this bill requires the Secretary of State to adopt regulations relating to the issuance of such a voter identification card.
Further, the bill revises requirements to mail-in ballots, mandating that mail-in voters “include certain personal identifying information with his or her mail ballot.” It also establishes a new deadline for receiving those ballots.
Nevada Democrats are having none of it. Assembly Speaker Steve Yeager made it clear that Democrats will not give the election integrity legislation the time of day.
“This isn’t a problem that exists in the state of Nevada. It’s simply a solution in search of a problem,” Yeager said, asserting that there are no election issues in the Silver State.
“What we need is for elected officials in this state to stand up and speak the truth, and that is that our elections are safe and secure,” he continued, criticizing those who identify voter fraud as an issue that needs to be addressed.
“You can’t be a sore loser. You know, nobody likes a sore loser. The answer can’t be if you lose an election that somehow there was fraud. The answer is that you didn’t connect with the voters and you didn’t get enough votes to win that election,” he continued, adding that there are “no plans for a hearing on that bill.”
Democrat state Attorney General Aaron Ford took to the podium and agreed “wholeheartedly” with Yeager’s comments.
“Listen, when the government wants to put a requirement in front of you exercising a particular right, if it’s not constitutional, the question is simple: Is there a rational basis for doing it?” he asked.
“It’s not incumbent upon us as the citizens to prove whether it’s compelling or not. It’s incumbent upon the government to tell you why they are making you do something extra before you can exercise your constitutional right,” he said, failing to explain how requiring an individual to show ID is impeding on the fundamental right to vote.
Ford ultimately said that voter fraud, as compelling as it sounds, has not been demonstrated in a “sufficient amount” to “justify the imposition of a new requirement to exercise your right to vote.”
Ford then deemed requiring voter ID fundamentally “unconstitutional.”
“And I can tell you this, that this attorney general will not abide by an unconstitutional act like voter ID here in this state,” he continued, as Secretary of State Cisco Aguilar suggested that such requirements essentially limit access to the ballot box.

Their remarks come months after the release of a survey by The Nevada Independent and OH Predictive Insights, which found 74 percent of Nevada voters support a voter ID law. Only eight percent opposed it. Further, there was bipartisan consensus on this matter, as 93 percent of Republicans said they were in favor of a voter ID requirement — a sentiment held by 62 percent of Democrats and 68 percent of independent voters in the state, as well.
