The Chinese Communist Party Congress, an event occurring every five years to appoint Party leaders and determine future priorities, ended with a dramatic climax on Saturday in which two officers appeared to manhandle and expel 79-year-old former President Hu Jintao from his seat, clearly against his will.

Hu served as president and chairman of the Communist Party prior to current dictator Xi Jinping, who assumed an unprecedented third term at the helm of the country on Saturday following a vote by the communist elite. The vote occurred shortly after the very physical removal of an apparently frail Hu, who was seated less than one foot from Xi and appeared to plead for the dictator to intervene and prevent his expulsion, to no avail.

Hu’s tenure was largely marked by his failure to assert himself as national dictator or a major influential personality in the Party, even as leader. It is also notable in that it ended voluntarily, after Hu chose to step down and allow then-Vice President Xi to take over in 2013. At the time, Xi applauded him for his “deep consideration toward the development of the Party, the country and military” and “noble character” in resigning.

Video captured by Agence France-Presse (AFP) on Saturday morning Beijing time showed two men abruptly approach Hu, who had not behaved in any apparent disruptive way prior to the incident, and take away his official paperwork. The men then begin grabbing Hu under his arms and dragging him away. Hu appears to try to take Xi’s papers, as the dictator is seated beside him, but Xi holds his papers down. Xi and Premier Li Keqiang, seated next to Xi, appear to calmly nod in Hu’s direction as he is dragged away wearing an expression of fear.

Adding to the intrigue is an apparent attempt by Party official Li Zhanshu, seated on the other side of Hu, to stand up and help him as the men begin grabbing him, but Xi ally Wang Huning grabs his arm and discourages him from intervening.

The men dragging Hu away do not appear to be mere security guards, as they are wearing Party name tags. Online observers identified one of the men as a top Communist Party official, Kong Shaoxun.

The Communist Party has not yet, at press time, explained what happened to necessitate Hu’s removal, which many international observers have described as shocking and humiliating for the elderly former president. Adding to suspicions that he may have been preparing to vote against a third term for Xi as chairman of the Party is the fact that the Chinese government moved rapidly to censor any mentions of Hu or the incident at the Party congress on Weibo, the state-controlled social media site.

“Search results for ‘Hu Jintao’ on China’s Twitter-like platform Weibo appeared to be heavily censored Saturday afternoon, with the most recent result dated Friday and posts limited to those of official accounts,” AFP observed.

The state-run propaganda outlet Global Times published an extensive, glowing report on Saturday’s Congress session that entirely omitted any mention of Hu Jintao, focusing instead on Xi’s supremacy within the Party.

“The week-long 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) successfully concluded on Saturday in Beijing, and it noted that the establishment of Comrade Xi Jinping’s core position on the Party Central Committee and in the Party as a whole,” the Global Times reported, “and the guiding role of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era has set the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation on ‘an irreversible historical course.'”

The newspaper did not note that any single member of the Party objected to Xi’s permanence in power, claiming that his “re-election” “required all Party members to acquire a deep understanding of the decisive significance of this major achievement, more conscientiously uphold Comrade Xi Jinping’s core position … and uphold the Central Committee’s authority and its centralized, unified leadership.”

No Communist Party Congress coverage in the Global Times mentioned Hu at all this week, despite his presence at the opening event along with a host of other retired officials.

The Xinhua News Agency, another official Chinese government outlet, published photos from Saturday of Hu seated alongside Xi Jinping. It also published an explanation of the events on Twitter – a social media outlet Chinese citizens who are not high-ranking Party officials cannot access.

Xinhua claimed that Hu “insisted on attending the closing session” despite needing to “recuperate” and that he “was not feeling well” when two men violently ousted him from the event.

“Now he is much better,” the government mouthpiece claimed.

Foreign Policy‘s James Palmer observed that Hu is nearly the last of his cohort in the Party, as Xi Jinping’s routine purges of those he does not consider loyalists have imprisoned or otherwise silenced nearly all of Hu’s allies.

“Many of his former allies have been arrested in Xi’s purges, most notably his chief aide Ling Jihua in 2015,” Palmer wrote. “Hu was associated with a power network of former leaders, like himself, of the Communist Youth League; that faction appears to have been effectively destroyed.”

He speculated that a variety of possibilities could have resulted in the strange incident – from Hu indeed suffering a health incident or a dementia-fueled episode to the chance that “information suddenly came up that made Xi — who would have had to personally approve any such move — afraid that Hu might abstain or even vote against him in the rounds of otherwise unanimous voting that finished off the Party Congress.”

“That could have been a remark by Hu to his former colleagues backstage or perhaps even signs of dementia that caused a sudden panic that something might go wrong. That would make Hu’s confusion understandable,” Palmer mused.

Yet prior incidents of elderly Party members embarrassing themselves, or Xi, have occurred largely without punishment. During the last Party Congress in 2017, Jiang Zemin, the president who preceded Hu, spent most of Xi Jinping’s three-hour speech yawning, sleeping, checking his watch, and reading, clear signs of disrespect. Jiang was 91 at the time and became a sensation on Chinese regime-controlled social media outlets with only minimal censorship.

Currently 96, Jiang did not attend this year’s Congress, though few questioned his absence.

Copycat Anti-Xi Jinping Protests Crop Up in at Least Eight Chinese Cities

Peng Lifa, identified as a Chinese physicist and dissident responsible for hanging banners against communism in Beijing last week, has reportedly inspired a wave of copycat protest messages in at least eight Chinese citizens, Australia’s news.com.au reported Wednesday.

The man now widely believed to be Peng Lifa reportedly disguised himself as a construction worker to get atop Beijing’s Sitong Bridge and hang up two banners — one reading, “No PCR tests, but food; no lockdowns, but freedom; no lies, but respect; no Cultural Revolution, but reform; no dictator, but vote; no [to being] slaves, but we the people” and another reading “students strike — workers strike — people strike — dictator traitor Xi Jinping.”

The reference to “slaves” appears to be intentionally similar to the first line of the Chinese national anthem, the “March of the Volunteers”: “Stand up! Those who refuse to be slaves!” Chinese authorities have censored lines from the country’s national anthem online in the past when citizens have weaponized it to protest the seven-decade-old communist regime.

Peng also reportedly set a small fire on the bridge so passersby would be more likely to look at the banners and shouted anti-Xi slogans through a megaphone before police arrived on the scene, disappeared him from sight, and took down the banners, dispersing the crowds below.

The act of brazen defiance, in the heart of the Chinese elite’s seat of power, was particularly impactful as it occurred shortly before the beginning of the Chinese Communist Party Congress, which takes place every five years and determines the leadership and priorities of the Party.

Xi is seeking a third term at the helm of the country, possessing the titles of “president,” commander-in-chief of the armed forces, chairman of the Communist Party, and nine others. No evidence indicates that Party leadership will challenge Xi. On Sunday, Xi will name the new leaders in the Politburo and other key positions, mostly replacing officials who have reached retirement age or are term-limited.

Xi made his debut at this year’s Congress with a two-hour speech on Sunday attempting to assure the world that the economic devastation brought about by his insistence on city-wide lockdowns to fight the Chinese coronavirus pandemic was limited and China was still the defining world power. Substantially undermining his claims, the Chinese National Bureau of Statistics abruptly, and inexplicably, refused to publish its GDP report immediately before the Congress began.

Peng’s banner was heavily censored on China’s government-controlled social meida outlet Weibo and reports of several other individuals being arrested for sharing the message have surfaced. Nonetheless, news.com.au, citing the dissident site VoiceofCN, reported that “Peng’s message has since popped up in at least eight Chinese cities, including Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen and Guangzhou.” Many instances of the banner’s message appearing in public have occurred in public bathrooms, one of the few kinds of places the Communist Party has not flooded with surveillance equipment.

Chinese internet users shared a variety of photos from the cities listed on Weibo showing messages against Xi and communism generally in bathrooms, prompting another wave of censorship online and reports that the Party is sending police officers into bathrooms in an attempt to subdue the silent protests.

Attempts to censor the Beijing bridge banners have largely failed, “and other protest signs have since appeared,” Voice of America reported on Thursday. “Due to the dense coverage of surveillance cameras in China, however, most of them have been found in public bathrooms and locations without closed-circuit TV monitoring.”
At least one high-profile arrest has occurred in response to Peng’s messaging. Radio Free Asia (RFA) reported on Monday that a retired teacher identified as Gu Guoping was arrested and held incommunicado for sharing photos and other content related to Peng’s protest, helping spread the message faster that Party censors could mute it. He also reportedly shared some of the images of the bathroom stall graffiti, which were reproduced following their censorship in China by dissidents abroad.

The dissident site China Change, which offered some of the known biographical details regarding Peng, also reported that some have suggested that over half a million accounts on the Chinese communication application WeChat have been blocked for sharing the Peng protest.

“A journalist reported that his account was suspended for 60 days for merely saying ‘I’ve seen it,'” China Change reported.

Voice of America noted on Thursday that WeChat has blocked searches for Sitong Bridge and even words like “warrior,” which were used favorably to praise Peng in the aftermath of the protest.

The Beijing display was the latest in a series of mounting protests and evidence of civil unrest nationwide. In Shanghai, the nation’s largest and wealthiest city, residents protested – some engaging in violence with public workers – during the weeks of lockdowns in April that threatened to starve out residents, as many protested that the city did not offer sufficient food and medical supplies. In June, central Henan province was the site of a giant protest in response to banks there not allowing residents to withdraw money, a symptom of a greater housing crisis caused by contractors failing to build promised new homes as the pandemic rolled on.

Feds Charge 7 Chinese Nationals Over Plot to Repatriate U.S. Resident to China

Eight-count indictment is latest case by Justice Department targeting Beijing's expatriation campaign in U.S.

WASHINGTON (Reuters)—The United States unsealed criminal charges on Thursday against seven Chinese nationals accused of waging a surveillance and harassment campaign against a U.S. resident and his family, in a bid by the Chinese government to repatriate one of them back to China.

The eight-count indictment, unsealed in a U.S. District Court in Brooklyn, New York, is the latest case by the Justice Department targeting China's apparent expatriation campaign, known as "Operation Fox Hunt."

The seven individuals charged are Quanzhong An, 55, of Roslyn, New York his daughter Guangyang An, 34, and five others still in China: Tian Peng, Chenghua Chen, Chunde Ming, Xuexin Hou, and Weidong Yuan.

The lead defendant, Quanzhong An, and his daughter were arrested on Thursday morning. The rest of the defendants remain at large. The United States does not have an extradition treaty with China.

According to the indictment, Quanzhong An is accused of working at the behest of China's Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection to harass and intimidate a Chinese man and his son living in the United States. The man and his son are identified only as "John Doe-1 and John Doe-2."

As part of the plot, the defendants allegedly coerced a relative of the family to travel from China to the United States in a bid to convince John Doe-1 to return to the country.

At a meeting in a restaurant in Sept. 2018, the relative explained to John Doe-2 that he had been forced to travel there by the government as part of a plan to repatriate the 100 most-wanted fugitives, the indictment said.

Other examples of harassment the family endured included a letter-writing campaign, with one letter warning that "coming back and turning yourself in is the only way out."

The Chinese government also filed a lawsuit against the father and son in a New York state court, claiming the father had stolen money from a Chinese employer and his son illegally profited from the scheme.

"The victims in this case sought to flee an authoritarian government, leaving behind their lives and family, for a better life here. That same government sent agents to the United States to harass, threaten, and forcibly return them to the People's Republic of China," said Michael Driscoll, the FBI's assistant director in charge in the New York office.

Despite his Wall Street, big business, Big Tech, and billionaire donations, Biden has attempted to portray himself as a small-town fighter from Scranton, Pennsylvania.

WaPo’s Marcus: ‘Very Hard’ for Dems to Have ‘Coherent’ Message on Economy, No One Buys Dems Bragging about Jobs or Wages

1:19

On Friday’s “PBS NewsHour,” Washington Post Associate Editor and columnist Ruth Marcus stated that the high level of inflation makes it “very hard for Democrats to have a coherent narrative” and no one buys Democrats saying they acknowledge inflation is a problem while also bragging about job creation and saying that “your wages are close to keeping pace with inflation.”

Marcus stated, “Well, on the economic point, which is really important, it’s very hard for Democrats to have a coherent narrative on the economy when they’re facing the inflation that they’re facing and the threat of a recession. And you can see it in the way they talk about it, we understand that prices are high, we’re not — so — but you can’t then say, well, but I’ve created 10 million jobs, and, really, your wages are close to keeping pace with inflation. Nobody’s going to buy that. But it’s also true that that leaves them without being able to run on the economy, whether it’s fair or not, because largely inflation is outside the president’s control and his party’s control, though he may have some pieces to blame on some of the spending that he did.”

Biden: ‘A Lot of What We’ve Done’ on Economy ‘Has Not Kicked in Yet’ — ‘I’m Not Sure about’ Polls Showing Voters Favor GOP on Economy

1:45

During an interview with MSNBC on Friday, President Joe Biden responded to polling data showing people trust Republicans on the economy by stating he’s not sure how accurate polls are and “a lot of what we’ve done and we’ve passed has not kicked in yet.”

Host Jonathan Capehart asked, “[H]ere’s a problem, I think, for you and Democrats, despite all the good economic news, low unemployment, record job creation, wage increases, Social Security cost of living adjustment to 8.7%, the highest in 40 years. And yet, poll after poll shows that the American people trust Republicans on the economy and think that Republicans should control Congress. How do you break through that?”

Biden answered, “I’m not sure about the polls. Because the way people conduct polls today, it’s hard. 90% of it is you get on the telephone where you have to call seven times to get somebody to answer the phone, number one. Number two, a lot of what we’ve done and we’ve passed has not kicked in yet. For example, we have all this money to rebuild the highways, bridges, Internet, etc., but it’s going to take time. It’s not all happening overnight. It’s not like we passed a law and all of a sudden the highways and bridges are all functioning. And it’s not like we’re in a position where we’re saying no senior — which we do — is going to have to pay more than $2,000 a year for their drug costs…it hasn’t kicked in yet. It doesn’t kick in until next year.”

Dem Rep. Lawrence: Inflation Is ‘the Sole Issue’ Republicans Can Talk about — We’ve Done Things ‘to Keep the Housing Market Open’

1:40

On Saturday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “Velshi,” Rep. Brenda Lawrence (D-MI) stated that inflation is “important” but it’s “interesting, with everything else that’s going on in the world, that is the sole issue that the Republicans” can talk about.

Lawrence stated that there are “other countries that are going through a global epidemic when it comes to our economy. And we have done so many things in this administration to create jobs, to keep the housing market open, which we know jobs in manufacturing and housing are some of those key things that stimulate our economy. This is a very uncomfortable time right now for anyone because when you — everyone needs to go get gas and we’re constantly reminded that inflation is happening. And we in Michigan have a very clear history of how, when the economy doesn’t work, when manufacturing stops how we lose jobs. We went through the housing crisis, one of the worst. And so, it is important to us. But isn’t it interesting, with everything else that’s going on in the world, that is the sole issue that the Republicans can rest on? And as we fight for democracy, bringing back voting rights, making it safe and accessible, when we talk about rights for women to choose, when we talk about education and the crisis that student debt is putting on our economy, lawsuits are filed. But that’s their single issue, and you can say what you want about a Republican, but they get — they know how to market their agenda.”

THERE HAS NEVER BEEN A GREATER DISASTER TO AMERICA THAN

JOE BIDEN!

Joe Biden Welcomes Foreign Population at Southern Border Greater than 15 States

President Joe Biden’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) welcomed a foreign population at the United States-Mexico border in fiscal year 2022 that exceeds the populations of 15 states.

As Breitbart News reported, Biden’s DHS has overseen the largest inflow of illegal immigration in a single fiscal year with more than 2.2 million border crossers and illegal aliens having arrived at the southern border from October 1, 2021, to September 20, 2022.

“We have simply never seen these numbers before in our history, and the Biden open-borders policies are the reason,” former Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Chief Mark Morgan, a visiting fellow at the Heritage Foundation, said in a statement.

“As bad as it has gotten, things will only get worse, and I fear what major catastrophe could come next,” Morgan continued.

The record-breaking level of illegal immigration indicates that in fiscal year 2022, Biden’s DHS welcomed a foreign population to the U.S. that exceeds the resident populations of Wyoming, Vermont, Alaska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Delaware, Montana, Rhode Island, Maine, New Hampshire, Hawaii, West Virginia, Idaho, Nebraska, and New Mexico.

“The time for excuses is over—the next Congress needs to take actual steps to hold this administration accountable for the chaos and carnage they have unleashed on our southwest border,” former Acting Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Director Thomas Homan, also a visiting fellow at the Heritage Foundation, said:

This is a shameful episode in our history, and the ones who are suffering are not the elites in their gated and secured Beltway communities. It’s the Border Patrol agents being overwhelmed on a daily basis. It’s the families who have been ripped apart losing a loved one to fentanyl or other drugs. And it’s the migrants themselves, who are worthless to the cartels once they’ve been paid. The next Congress better do something about it. [Emphasis added]

As quickly as border crossers and illegal aliens have been arriving at the southern border, Biden’s DHS has been just as quickly releasing most of them into American communities.

From February 2021 to August 2022, for example, the Biden administration released about 1.35 million border crossers and illegal aliens into the U.S. interior — a foreign population roughly three times the size of Miami, Florida.

A set of promises made by House Republican leadership vows to continue building border wall along the southern border while ending the administration’s massive Catch and Release network and mandating E-Verify nationwide to eliminate the job magnet for future border crossers.

President Joe Biden’s advisers have granted temporary legal status to roughly 30,000 Ethiopians now living in the United States.

The award of Temporary Protected Status (TPS) was announced Friday as Ethiopia’s government continues a disastrous war against a non-Ethiopian ethnic group in the Tigray region of the country.

“The United States recognizes the ongoing armed conflict and the extraordinary and temporary conditions engulfing Ethiopia, and DHS is committed to providing temporary protection [for 18 months] to those in need,” said a statement from Alejandro Mayorkas, the pro-migration secretary of the Department of Homeland Security. The statement added:

Ethiopian nationals currently residing in the U.S. who cannot safely return due to conflict-related violence and a humanitarian crisis involving severe food shortages, flooding, drought, and displacement, will be able to remain and work in the United States until conditions in their home country improve.

The protection will help 30,000 Ethiopians, according to a September 30 letter sent to Mayorkas by a variety of pro-migration groups, including the American Immigration Lawyers Association. The letter said:

The current crisis in Ethiopia … has been marked by violence against civilians in conflict, ethnic cleansing, destruction of public infrastructure, including health care facilities and schools, arbitrary arrests, torture, sexual and [sex]-based violence as a weapon of war, and weaponization of food, medicine, and fuel …

Throughout 2021 and 2022, at least six million people across the Amhara, Tigray, and Afar regions have been cut off from access to adequate food, health care, fuel, banking services, communications with the outside world, and other basic needs.

The TPS program has been abused by several presidents to quietly import and keep many foreign workers, renters, and consumers in the United States.

This TPS program policy is just one element of the federal Extraction Migration economic strategy. That strategy aids investors by cutting Americans’ wages and by boosting housing prices. It also pushes up inflation for a wide variety of goods, such as used autos and food.

The TPS program already keeps roughly 500,000 foreigners in the United States, including some who arrived as illegals in the 1980s and 1990s. The migrants were first given TPS when their home nations were hit by disastrous volcano eruptions, floods, famines, or wars.

The 500,000 number does not include the TPS grantees who have already won green cards, nor does it include their U.S.-born children.

President Donald Trump did not extend some of the TPS grants that had been repeatedly extended by prior presidents. The extensions were often granted long after the original disasters had been overcome. But Trump was stopped by lawsuits and Biden’s election.

Since January 2021, Biden has welcomed roughly four million illegal migrants, visa workers, and legal immigrants. He has also imported many additional people from Venezuela, Ukraine, and Afghanistan, and has approved multiple additional TPS designations for Venezuelans, Haitians, and Cameroonians, for example.

The large population helps to push down wages and boost housing costs for Americans — and also to push Americans out of the labor market.

Extraction Migration

It is easier for government officials to grow the economy by immigration than by growing exports, productivity, or the birth rate.

So Washington, DC, deliberately extracts millions of migrants from poor countries and uses them as extra workers, consumers, and renters.

This extraction migration policy both grows and skews the national economy.

It prevents tight labor markets and so it shifts vast wealth from ordinary people to investorsbillionaires, and Wall Street. It makes it difficult for ordinary Americans to  advance in their careers, get married, raise families, buy homes, or gain wealth.

Extraction migration slows innovation and shrinks Americans’ productivity. This happens because migration allows employers to boost stock prices by using stoop labor and disposable workers instead of the skilled American professionals and productivity-boosting technology that earlier allowed Americans and their communities to earn more money.

This migration policy also reduces exports because it minimizes shareholder pressure on C-suite executives to take a career risk by trying to grow exports to poor countries.

Migration undermines employees’ workplace rights, and it widens the regional economic gaps between the Democrats’ cheap-labor coastal states and the Republicans’ heartland and southern states.

An economy fueled by extraction migration also drains Americans’ political clout over elites and it alienates young people. It radicalizes Americans’ democratic civic culture because it gives a moral excuse for wealthy elites and progressives to ignore despairing Americans at the bottom of society, such as drug addicts.

This diversify-and-rule investor strategy is enthusiastically pushed by progressives. They wish to transform the U.S. from a society governed by European-origin civic culture into an economic empire of jealous identity groups overseen by progressive hall-monitors. “We’re trying to become the first multiracial, multi-ethnic superpower in the world,” Rep. Rohit Khanna (D-CA) told the New York Times in March 2022. “It will be an extraordinary achievement … We will ultimately triumph,” he boasted.

But the progressives’ colonialism-like economic strategy kills many migrants. It exploits the poverty of migrants and splits foreign families as it extracts human resources from poor home countries to serve wealthy U.S. investors.

Progressives hide this extraction migration economic policy behind a wide variety of noble-sounding explanations and theatrical border security programs. Progressives claim the U.S. is a “Nation of Immigrants,” that economic migrants are political victims, that migration helps migrants more than Americans, and that the state must renew itself by replacing populations.

Similarly, establishment Republicans, media businesses, and major GOP donors hide the skew towards investors by ignoring the pocketbook impact and by touting border chaos, welfare spending, migrant crime, and drug smuggling.

Many polls show the public wants to welcome some immigration. But the polls also show deep and broad public opposition to labor migration and to the inflow of temporary contract workers into the jobs needed by the families of blue-collar and white-collar Americans.

This “Third Rail” opposition is growinganti-establishmentmultiracialcross-sexnon-racistclass-basedbipartisan,   rationalpersistent, and recognizes the solidarity that American citizens owe to one another.

President Joe Biden’s deputies welcomed 1.66 million economic migrants across the U.S. southern border in 2022, according to data revealed late Friday by the Department of Homeland Security.

Even though the migrants entered illegally, Biden’s deputies are using a variety of legal pretexts — under Title 8 of U.S. law — to release the migrants so they can work to pay off their smuggling debts to banks and loan sharks.

The huge inflow aids investors and employers by cutting Americans’ wages and by boosting housing prices.

The 1.66 million economic migrants welcomed in 2022 are just part of the massive 2022 inflow.

An additional 500,000 unreported migrants sneaked across the border, according to official counts leaked to Breitbart News and other outlets.

The 500,000 additional illegal migrants pushed the total cross-border inflow to roughly 2.5 million in Biden’s second fiscal year, which started on October 1, 2021, and ended on September 30.

Overall, Biden’s illegal border flood delivered seven migrants for every 10 Americans born in 2022.

In addition, Biden and his deputies delivered six migrants for every 10 Americans who turned 18 in 2022.

“We have witnessed the devastating harm wrought by a rogue administration that is asserting near-dictatorial powers in a relentless effort to keep our borders open,” said a statement from R.J. Hauman, the government relations director at the Federation for American Immigration Reform. He continued:

In that time, the Biden administration has blamed the unprecedented surge of illegal immigration on all sorts of external factors – except their own purposeful sabotage of our nation’s immigration laws. The endless flow of illegal immigrants and the incursion of lethal narcotics pouring across our border will not end until this administration demonstrates a willingness to secure the border and enforce the law. Sadly, these record-breaking numbers are unlikely to resonate with them, because what’s happening is all by design.

[Border] Secretary [Alejandro] Mayorkas clearly hid these border numbers on behalf of President Biden and the Democratic Party for political purposes, which is why he released them late on a Friday night. How can anyone vote for a party that puts politics first and America last?

The mass inflow of migrants has helped to push up rents for Americans, including Julia Mallman, a single, childless, 42-year-old kindergarten teacher in Fairfax, Virginia. Her monthly rent jumped by 25 percent as Joe Biden’s migrants rented spaces in her apartment complex, she told the Washington Post on October 20:

“So many emotions when I saw that,” Mallman said. “I was furious. And disappointed. And demoralized.”

She got a post-pandemic gut punch that is hitting renters across the nation this year. After landlords largely suspended rent hikes and federal assistance came during shutdowns, renters are now paying a steep price for that brief clemency. Nationwide, rents are up 11.3 percent this year, according to the real-estate-research firm CoStar Group. In some parts, like in Mallman’s working-class complex, the penalty … is weighing in at 25 percent.

“Who can afford this?” she asked, showing me the contract she decided to sign after all, on the day it was due. “The prices are pretty much the same everywhere I look.”

The Biden administration in 2022 has allowed into the country roughly six times as many people as in 2020 under President Donald Trump.

Biden’s official estimate of the 2022 inflow included 190,000 Venezuelans and 220,000 Cubans, versus 14,000 for both nations in 2020.

The DHS’s 1.66 million count excludes migrants who were registered at the border but were sent back to Mexico or flown home. The number of rejected migrants was not released, but it is far less than 1 million, since many migrants are counted multiple times as they repeatedly try to sneak across the border.

But Biden and his deputies also welcomed many other migrants, including disaster migrants, legal immigrants, visa workers, “student” workers, and people who illegally work while pretending to be tourists. For example, Biden’s deputies legalized almost 150,000 migrants fleeing disasters in Ukraine, Afghanistan, Cameroon, and other countries during fiscal 2022.

Those legal inflows add at least 1.1 million migrants.

If the legal inflow is added to the border illegals, then Biden’s deputies imported 3.6 million migrants in 2022 — or 1 foreigner for every American born in 2022.

The 2022 inflow is double the 885,000 illegals invited across the border in 2021.

Extraction Migration

It is easier for government officials to grow the economy by immigration than by growing exports, productivity, or the birth rate.

So Washington, D.C., deliberately extracts millions of migrants from poor countries and uses them as extra workers, consumers, and renters.

They wish to transform the U.S. from a society governed by European-origin civic culture into an economic empire of jealous identity groups overseen by progressive hall monitors.

But the polls also show deep and broad public opposition to labor migration and the inflow of temporary contract workers into the jobs needed by the families of blue-collar and white-collar Americans.

This “Third Rail” opposition is growinganti-establishmentmultiracialcross-sexnon-racistclass-basedbipartisan,   rationalpersistent, and recognizes the solidarity that American citizens owe to one another.
