LYING LAWYER JOE BIDEN BLAMES TRUMPER FOR THE INVASION HE PERPETRATED

Last month, the Biden Administration granted Temporary Protected Status for Venezuelan nationals for 18 months. The designation applies to those residing in the United States since March 8, 2021. The designation suspends any attempts at removal for the period. Generally, these deadlines are extended–sometimes for years on end. Some critics argue this is a pull factor, encouraging illegal immigration from designated countries.

This group will more than likely be released into the United States to pursue asylum claims even though they would not qualify for the TPS designation. The source reports many of the Venezuelans interviewed during the week directly attributed the suspension of deportations by the Biden Administration as the impetus for their entry into the United States.

The 2021 migration flood is merely a “god-awful mess at the border,” and it was caused by former President Donald Trump, says President Joe Biden, whose deputies are actively opening the border to migrants from all over the world.

“Biden said his administration inherited “one god-awful mess at the border” from former President Donald Trump,” NBC’s Today Show reported April 30, adding:

He said it’s the result of “the failure to have a real transition — cooperation from the last administration, like every other administration has done.”

After the November election, Biden said that he dispatched his transition team to meet with the officials leading the major departments across the government.

“The two departments that didn’t give us access to virtually anything were the immigration and the Defense Department,” said Biden, who added that his team didn’t know until he was sworn into office that Trump had fired many people from those departments and they were “understaffed considerably.”

But the crisis is not just a “mess at the border” caused by crowded facilities with too many child migrants and too few government minders.

The crisis is the economic and civic harms imposed, by Biden, on ordinary working Americans — and on foreigners — with the support of pro-migration zealots, such as Alejandro Mayorkas, Biden’s secretary of the Department of Homeland Security.

Under Trump, adult and child migrants caught at the border were quickly stopped and usually flown home, mostly to their homes in Central America. Trump’s deputies used a wide variety of regulations, diplomatic rules, and emergency declarations to bypass open-borders pressure from Democrats and judges.

This policy combination pushed up wages for Americans, massively shrank the migration pipeline run by the coyotes and cartels, and it minimized the trauma, kidnappings, and crimes suffered by migrants on their treks to the border.

Trump’s humanitarian policy also minimized the extraction of young workers from Central America. That low-migration policy provided a better foundation for economic growth and the emergence of democracy in the troubled region.

Under Biden, however, Mayorkas and his deputies are carefully extracting more migrants — mostly adult men — from Central America via a wide variety of side doors in U.S. immigration law.

Biden’s unpopularexploitative, and destructive strategy means many poor migrants are first separated from their families — often for many years — and many suffer or die in the federal government’s chaotic “migration-by-separation” process:

  • Single adult economic migrants are being allowed to make repeated efforts to sneak through the border, and if caught, are merely returned to the 5-yard line in Mexico, instead of being flown home.
  • Youth workers and the children of illegal migrants are being admitted via the “Unaccompanied Alien Child” loophole.
  • The wives and children of illegal migrants are being allowed in, often without any requirement that they register as migrants with the federal government.
  • Single migrants and families from outside Mexico and Central America are allowed to work in U.S. jobs while they wait years for an asylum hearing.
  • Federal enforcement agencies have been largely barred from deporting migrants, ensuring any migrants who get past the border zone can takelow wages jobs throughout the United States.

The southern migration threatens to spike government-run migration far above the routine inflow of roughly 1 million legal immigrants.

Business groups and investors are applauding the growing inflow of workers, consumers, and high-occupancy renters. Business groups recognize the inflow minimizes the pressure for wage raises in a growing economy and also jacks up housing prices in major cities.

The business groups are also cheering Biden’s decision to drop Trump-era protections for U.S. college graduates. Under Biden, Fortune 500 can freely use subcontractors to hire foreign college graduates in place of the American graduates who would likely use their work experience to create rival products in new companies.

For many years, a wide variety of pollsters have shown deep and broad opposition to labor migration and the inflow of temporary contract workers into jobs sought by young U.S. graduates.

This opposition is multiracialcross-sexnon-racistclass-basedintra-Democraticrational, and recognizes the solidarity Americans owe to each other.

The voter opposition to elite-backed economic migration coexists with support for legal immigrants and some sympathy for illegal migrants. But only a minority of Americans — mostly leftists — embrace the many skewed polls and articles pushing the 1950’s corporate “Nation of Immigrants” claim.

The deep public opposition to labor migration is built on the widespread recognition that legal and illegal migration moves money away from most Americans’ pocketbooks and families.

Migration moves money from employees to employers, from families to investors, from young to old, from children to their parents, from homebuyers to investors, from technology to stoop labor, from red states to blue states, and from the central states to the coastal states such as New York.

Because of the relative safety of Ciudad Acuna, directly across from Del Rio, the area is a draw for large groups of Haitians, Cubans, and Central Africans. Cartel violence has slowed in recent years when compared to other cities in Mexico along the border and is the reason many within law enforcement believe Del Rio is the chosen crossing point.

President Joe Biden’s administration is flying thousands of border crossers into the United States interior on domestic, commercial flights without requiring them to test negative for the Chinese coronavirus or show proof of identity.

Federal data revealed to the House Committee on Homeland Security shows the Biden administration put about 7,200 border crossers on flights into the U.S. interior between February 19 to April 22, Rep. August Pfluger’s (R-TX) office confirmed to Breitbart News.

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) provided the data.

Those 7,200 border crossers put on flights at 10 U.S. border airports by the Biden administration were allowed to bypass photo identification requirements, the standard rules all American citizens are required to abide by.

Likewise, the border crossers are not required to show proof of a negative coronavirus test despite the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) recently confirming that border crossers in their custody are testing positive for coronavirus.

“Just in the last 3 months, TSA has flown over 7,200 illegal migrants on commercial airlines without photo ID’s or a negative COVID test,” Pfluger wrote in a post online. “The Biden Admin is knowingly endangering the lives of American citizens.”

This week, a New York Times report detailed how even after border crossers test positive for the coronavirus, they are not required to quarantine by the federal government. Instead, many are skipping their quarantine and traveling into the U.S. interior with the virus.

For months, Breitbart News has chronicled the Biden administration’s insistence on releasing tens of thousands of border crossers into the U.S., many of whom end up testing positive for the coronavirus afterward and keep traveling into the nation’s interior.

Last week, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton filed a lawsuit against DHS, alleging the administration is creating a coronavirus crisis at the U.S.-Mexico border and potentially infecting Americans with the virus by exempting border crossers from testing and quarantine requirements Americans are subjected to.

Watch Live: Biden’s Secret Service Arrests Illegal Aliens Outside White House

2:34

A group of illegal aliens and open borders activists were arrested on Friday by members of President Joe Biden’s secret service after blocking an intersection near the White House, demanding that Biden give them amnesty to permanently stay in the United States.

A couple of dozen activists affiliated with the open borders organization Movimiento Cosecha sat by a security checkpoint near the White House complex, reportedly delaying Biden’s motorcade, as Secret Service Police officers looked on.

“We are not afraid,” the self-described “comrades” sang. “We will live for liberation because we know why we were made.”

They also chanted in Spanish, demanding “permanent protect for all 11 million” illegal aliens living in U.S.

In a press release announcing the protest, the agitators said they were no longer satisfied with the “crumbs” from the Biden administration, which has included preventing about 9-in-10 deportations through a series of Department of Homeland Security (DHS) orders.

“The current legislation the Democrats are pushing only focuses on a small portion of undocumented immigrants,” group organizer Hector Morales said.

“Even though I would qualify under the current Dream and Promise Act, I am risking arrest today to tell President Biden that I won’t accept piecemeal bills that exclude and criminalize my own community members,” he added.

“I won’t accept these crumbs. We need permanent protection for all.”

A protester denounced Democrats’ “empty promises” and thanked the “allies” for risking arrest.

“Biden originally committed to a pathway to citizenship for all 11 million undocumented immigrants,” organizer Gema Lowe said.

Movimiento Cosecha said Lowe has been living illegally in Michigan for almost 30 years.

“Now he is ready to pursue a ‘piecemeal’ strategy instead that would exclude me and millions of others who have lived in this country for decades. We deserve better,” she declared.

“That is why today I am willing to risk arrest, detention, and deportation to demand papers, not crumbs.”

The White House protest is a precursor to a large one schedule to be held Saturday, or May Day, a popular protest day for far leftists.

Report: Joe Biden Supports Passing Amnesty Through Budget Reconciliation with Simple Majority

President Joe Biden told Hispanic members of Congress on Tuesday he supported the idea of moving legislation on immigration reform using budget reconciliation and a simple Democrat majority.

“He said he was committed to making those statements publicly,” Rep. Darren Soto (D-FL) told Politico, detailing the meeting.

Biden met with the Congressional Hispanic Caucus on Tuesday at the White House.

Soto said Biden would include rhetoric supporting the idea in his address to Congress later this month.

Hispanic Caucus Chair Rep. Raul Ruiz (D-CA) also told Politico Biden would support “a pathway to citizenship through the budget reconciliation.”

The White House said in a readout of the meeting Biden discussed “immigration reform and a humanitarian response at the border.”

Any budget reconciliation bill would have to win approval from the Senate parliamentarian, which might be difficult.

The Senate parliamentarian ruled against the proposed $15 an hour minimum wage in the budget reconciliation process that helped Democrats pass the $1.9 trillion coronavirus rescue package without Republican support. That would likely narrow any amnesty options for any future budget reconciliation package.

Profiteers of Biden Administration’s Open Borders Policy

Malfeasance has it rewards.

It has been said that “Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.”

The border crisis endangers national security, public health and public safety, yet for the Biden administration, the border crisis that creates consternation for most Americans, incredibly, is viewed as a success story by Biden and the radicalized Democrat Party.

As you will see shortly, Biden immigration policies are also important to human traffickers, drug smugglers, terrorist groups and American companies that move the money of all of the above and, incredibly, even the “fees” and ransom money paid to the human traffickers by aliens’ family members.

As I noted in my recent article, Biden Amps Up The Immigration Delivery System, the Biden administration’s refusal to declare a border crisis is more than a matter of semantics.

Over the past several decades, globalists in both major political parties have come to see immigration as a delivery system rather than a law enforcement system that is dedicated to protecting America and Americans.

This immigration delivery system delivers a virtually unlimited supply of cheap exploitable workers (and not just the illegal aliens who perform economic bottom rung low-skilled, physically demanding menial jobs, but increasing numbers of highly skilled alien workers who are granted visas to work legally in the United States).  This delivery system also delivers a nearly unlimited number of foreign tourists (hence the continually expanding Visa Waiver Program), a huge number of foreign students including students from adversarial nations such as China, and a virtually unlimited number of clients for immigration law firms.  Indeed, there are a significant number of  immigration lawyers in both political parties.

Comprehensive Immigration Reform was never intended to get the “aliens out of the shadows” but to motivate aliens to head for the waiting rooms of immigration law firms.

To actually get the aliens out of the shadows, our government would need more ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents).  But the hiring of more ICE agents has never been considered by either political party.  Such agents would not only arrest illegal aliens but would likely uncover crooked employers, crooked lawyers and interfere with the immigration delivery system.

These politicians know where “their bread is buttered” and understand that they must act to satisfy the demands of those who write the fat checks.  Simply stated, the term “campaign contribution” is Orwellian Newspeak for the actual appropriate term: “Bribe.”

No administration, however, has had the unmitigated chutzpah and utter contempt for the safety of America and Americans to do what the Biden administration is now doing, making an obvious concerted effort to remove any and all deterrents against illegal immigration and essentially put control of America’s southern border under the de facto control of the drug cartels and human traffickers (often one and the same).

Biden Cripples Immigration Law Enforcement, his Executive Orders handcuff agents - and set law violators free.

In the past, the Border Patrol checked transportation facilities such as bus stations, train stations and airports to locate and arrest illegal aliens who evaded detection by the Border Patrol and were then heading to the interior of the United States.

Under Biden’s policies, however, the overwhelmed Border Patrol is now driving illegal aliens to bus terminals so that they can head for the interior of the United States!

Some of these aliens are not even being given immigration court dates because, as it now stands, the system is so overloaded that hearings for these aliens won’t be possible for years.

The failure to deter illegal immigration has encouraged a human tsunami of foreign nationals, from all over the world, including countries that sponsor terrorism, to head for the United States.

This has created a huge opportunity for the human traffickers and gangs to make unprecedented profits as more aliens seek their “services.”

On April 20, 2021 Vice reported, US Companies Are Helping Mexican Cartels Get Rich Kidnapping Migrants, noting that the  wave of migration at the border is a boon for kidnappers, human smugglers, and the American businesses that handle their money.

Here is an important excerpt from the Vice report:

VICE World News reviewed 40 ransom payments made through money transfers in eight different kidnapping cases from 2014 through January of this year. Virtually all of the money flowed through U.S. companies, mostly through Western Union and MoneyGram but also Walmart and lesser-known companies like Ria. By our rough estimate, criminal organizations in Mexico have made around $800 million on migrant kidnappings alone over the past decade, and money-transfer companies received a cut on nearly every transaction through fees and exchange rates. American corporations are profiting from kidnappings.

Bad as this is, let us remember that those who engage in human trafficking and drug smuggling are violent criminals, many of whom  are working in conjunction with terrorist organizations such as Hezbollah, a Lebanon-based terror organization that is under the control of Iran.  Human trafficking and drug smuggling not only provide huge financial rewards for these criminal and terrorist organizations but provide terror organizations with the ability to move sleeper agents into the United States.

Consider some experts from my 2019 article, Jihad At The Border:

On April 30, 2019 the Justice Department issued a press release, Jordanian National Pleads Guilty to Conspiracy to Bring Aliens into the United States, which noted that in 2017 the smuggler smuggled aliens from Yemen, a Special Interest Country” into the United States without inspection from Monterrey, Mexico to Piedras Negras in Texas.

As I reported in a previous article, on January 29, 2019 the Senate Intelligence Committee conducted a hearing on Worldwide Threats that was predicated the "World-Wide Threat Assessment," that was issued by Daniel Coats, the Director of the Office of National Intelligence, which oversees the U.S. intelligence community.  Additional witness included the heads of the FBI, CIA and other agencies.

The threat assessment warned about the dangers posed by transnational gangs such as MS-13 and went on to report:

TRANSNATIONAL ORGANIZED CRIME

Global transnational criminal organizations and networks will threaten US interests and allies by trafficking drugs, exerting malign influence in weak states, threatening critical infrastructure, orchestrating human trafficking, and undermining legitimate economic activity.

Drug Trafficking

The foreign drug threat will pose continued risks to US public health and safety and will present a range of threats to US national security interests in the coming year. Violent Mexican traffickers, such as members of the Sinaloa Cartel and New Generation Jalisco Cartel, remain key to the movement of illicit drugs to the United States, including heroin, methamphetamine, fentanyl, and cannabis from Mexico, as well as cocaine from Colombia. Chinese synthetic drug suppliers dominate US-bound movements of so- called designer drugs, including synthetic marijuana, and probably ship the majority of US fentanyl, when adjusted for purity.

On April 17, 2018 the House Committee on Homeland Security, Counterterrorism and Intelligence Subcommittee, conducted a hearing on the topic, "State Sponsors Of Terrorism: An Examination Of Irans Global Terrorism Network.”

The prepared testimony of one of the witnesses, Dr. Emanuele Ottolenghi of the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, included this alarming excerpt:

In recent years, Hezbollahs Latin American networks have also increasingly cooperated with violent drug cartels and criminal syndicates, often with the assistance of local corrupt political elites….

This toxic crime-terror nexus is fueling both the rising threat of global jihadism and the collapse of law and order across Latin America that is helping drive drugs and people northward into the United States. It is sustaining Hezbollahs growing financial needs. It is helping Iran and Hezbollah consolidate a local constituency in multiple countries across Latin America. It is thus facilitating their efforts to build safe havens for terrorists and a continent-wide terror infrastructure that they could use to strike U.S. targets.

Biden and his cohorts have discovered that indeed, “Crime does pay” and the cost is not only measured in money but in human suffering and even the loss of human lives.

Paoletta: Joe Biden ‘100 Percent’ Violated Federal Law by Withholding Border Wall Funds

This photo provided by the US Customs and Border Protection shows a hole cut into Southern California’s border fence with Mexico on Wednesday, March 3, 2021. Thirteen people killed in one of the deadliest border crashes on record were among more than 40 migrants who entered the U.S. through the …

Former Trump administration lawyer Mark Paoletta told House Budget Committee ranking member Rep. Jason Smith (R-MO) Thursday that the Joe Biden administration violated the Impoundment Control Act by withholding federal funds for the border wall.

A veteran of Washington’s political battles, Paoletta served as general counsel of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), the powerful White House agency in charge of all federal budgeting, spending, and regulatory actions. Now a senior fellow at the Center for Renewing America, he testified before the House Budget Committee’s hearing, “Protecting our Democracy: Reasserting Congress’ Power of the Purse.”

During the hearing, Smith and Rep. Lloyd Smucker (R-PA) asked Paoletta about the Biden administration’s withholding of federal funds appropriated to construct the wall along the southern border. Biden froze border wall funds on his first day in office.

Congress enacted the Impoundment Control Act of 1974 (ICA) to prevent the president and other government officials from unilaterally substituting their own funding decisions from those of Congress.

Before the ICA, presidents routinely declined to spend all of an appropriated sum if they could complete Congress’s goal for less than the full amount. The ICA makes it illegal to do so unless Congress passes a new law — called a rescission — taking back the remaining funds.

Smith asked Paoletta, “Do you believe that the executive branch violated the GAO standard of the Impoundment Control Act when it began withholding funds for the border wall?”

Paoletta responded, “100 percent.”

Paoletta explained when Trump temporarily delayed Ukraine aid for 50 days to assess changing circumstances in that region, after which OMB released the funds per Congress’s annual spending laws, congressional Democrats and Congress’s Government Accountability Office (GAO) cried foul and called it an ICA violation. He then noted the Biden administration admits the current president intends to circumvent Congress by permanently withholding funds for the border wall that Congress has already appropriated by law.

Paoletta explained in his testimony to the committee for the hearing:

In contrast, President Biden’s hold is designed to thwart a lawfully enacted Congressional appropriation to build a border wall. Under GAO’s interpretation, this is clearly illegal. President Biden stated during the campaign that, if elected, “there will not be another foot of wall constructed in my administration.” But Congress appropriated $1.4 billion last year specifically for the construction of the border wall. Nevertheless, on his first day in office, President Biden issued an Executive Order ordering the holding of all funds, and stating that building the wall was “not a serious policy solution . . . and a waste of money.” Reports are that all funds are being held and construction has stopped.

The White House Press Secretary stated in February that the President “took formal steps to follow up on his Executive Order to end the declaration so that no more American tax dollars could be wasted on a border wall that does nothing to address or reform issues in our immigration system.” In fact, in President Biden’s FY22 “Discretionary Request,” President Biden proposes to rescind the very wall money that he is currently holding. President Biden has not sent up any deferral or rescission special message to Congress, as required by the ICA. It appears that the Administration is now intentionally under-executing congressionally appropriated funding in order to later rescind it.

Smucker said during the hearing the migrant crisis that arose less than 100 days into Biden’s administration partly came from Biden’s freezing of border wall funding.

“This is a real crisis that we’re dealing with as a result of what I think is an illegal action by the president, freezing the congressionally appropriated funds, funding for the construction on the southern border wall,” Smucker said.

Border Patrol Deploys New Water Rescue Devices on Rio Grande

Del Rio Sector Border Patrol agents deployed new watercraft on the Rio Grande to help with the rescue of the increasing number of migrants crossing from Mexico.

Del Rio Sector agents are now patrolling with Shallow Water Rescue Craft to cut into the increasing number of migrant drownings this year, according to a tweet from Chief Patrol Agent Austin Skero.

“This vessel can be quickly deployed in any water depth, improving our agents’ abilities to conduct rescues or aid agents working from land,” Skero tweeted. “Greater versatility saves both lives and time.”

The watercraft is a jet ski-type vessel that tows a rescue flotation device.

CBP Senior Official Performing the Duties of the Commissioner Troy Miller told reporters during a press conference this week that Transnational Criminal Organizations conducting human smuggling operations show great disregard for human life.

“CBP routinely rescues migrants who have been abandoned by these smugglers in harsh terrain, leaving them for dead with no food or water,” Miller said. “In Fiscal Year 2021, CBP has already rescued 4,766 migrants along the southwest border. In Fiscal Year 2020, we rescued 5,232 migrants.”

These rescues frequently include water rescues along the Rio Grande and in other border waterways. Just last week, Del Rio Sector marine unit agents rescued two small children, Breitbart Texas reported.

Earlier this month, these agents rescued a two-year-old child and the child’s parents after agents found them struggling in the Rio Grande. Following this rescue, agents found 20 more migrants trapped on an island in the border river.

About a week earlier, a nine-year-old girl drowned during a border crossing attempt. Agents were unable to revive the girl but managed to revive the child’s mother and a sibling.

Rio Grande Valley Sector Border Patrol agents interdicted four human smuggling attempts near the Mexican border in Texas. The agents apprehended 79 migrants illegally present in the United States during a 24-hour period.

Falfurrias Border Patrol Station (FLF) agents assigned to the immigration checkpoint on U.S. Highway 281 on April 26 observed a tractor-trailer approaching for inspection. The agents referred the driver to a secondary inspection area, according to information provided by Rio Grande Valley Sector Border Patrol officials.

During the secondary inspection, the driver presented fraudulent immigration documents. The agents searched the trailer and discovered 23 migrants hiding inside the cargo. The agents arrested the migrants and the driver and took them inside the checkpoint for processing.

On Tuesday, FLF agents referred another tractor-trailer to secondary inspection after a K-9 alerted to the possible presence of drug or human cargo in the trailer, officials stated. Agents searched the trailer filled with pallets of avocados and found 42 migrants hiding between the pallets. The agents arrested the driver and the migrants.

“This method of human smuggling is extremely dangerous as migrants are often locked inside without any means of escape,” Border Patrol officials said in a written statement.

Later that night, FLF agents apprehended 13 more migrants in another failed smuggling attempt at the Falfurrias Border Patrol checkpoint.

Elsewhere in the sector, RGV agents teamed up with the Pharr, Texas, Police Department after receiving a tip about smugglers utilizing motel rooms as a stash house. The agents arrived and found 15 migrants locked in the rooms being utilized to harbor migrants illegally present in the U.S. The agents conducted immigration interviewed the migrants and identified them as foreign nationals from Guatemala, Honduras, and Mexico.

In total, the agents apprehended 79 migrants during the 24-hour period ending on Tuesday night.

Rio Grande Valley Sector Border Patrol agents rescued two groups of migrants from human smuggling stash houses in two separate incidents.

Rio Grande City Border Patrol agents received a call for assistance from the Escobares Police Department Sunday night regarding a suspected human smuggling stash house operation, according to information obtained from Rio Grande Valley Sector Border Patrol officials. The agents teamed up with local police, armed with a search warrant, and conducted a check on the suspected stash house.

Agents found a group of migrants inside the residence. The agents conducted immigration interviews and identified all as migrants illegally present in the United States. Officials reported the 22 migrants, including a “noncitizen unaccompanied child” as having traveled to the U.S. from El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, and Nicaragua.

One day earlier, Weslaco Border Patrol Station agents received a call from the Edinburg Police Department requesting assistance on a suspected human smuggling stash house in their city. The agents teamed up with local police to investigate.

After police obtained permission to enter the residence and discovered 21 noncitizens being harbored inside. Agents conducted immigration interviews and identified the migrants as coming from Guatemala, Honduras, and Mexico.

In addition to the dangerous conditions smugglers place migrants into in these stash houses, they also risk their lives by packing them into overloaded passenger vehicles, tractor-trailer rigs, and marching them through ranches to avoid apprehension.

On Tuesday, RGV Sector agents found a group of 42 migrants being marched through a ranch near the Rio Grande border with Mexico, Breitbart Texas reported.

“While our agents tend to the humanitarian aspect of the current influx, smugglers take advantage and smuggle groups like these,” RGV Sector Chief Patrol Agent Brian Hastings said in a tweet.

Axelrod: Biden ‘Didn’t Offer a Solution’ for His ‘Biggest Problem’ at the U.S.-Mexico Border

1:28

Former Obama adviser David Axelrod argued Wednesday on CNN that President Joe Biden didn’t offer a solution” to the immigration crisis during his address to a joint session of Congress.

Anchor Anderson Cooper said, “President Biden didn’t talk about — and a number of Republicans and even Mark Kelly a Democrat has been criticizing him tonight, for not talking about the issue on the border and the crisis with so many people coming across the past few months.”

Axelrod said, “This obviously has been the biggest problem that has cropped up in his first 100 days, that continues to be a festering sore for him. I think he hopes the discussion of immigration reform would signify — he did talk about assigning the vice president to try to resolve some of the issues that are leading to the crisis. He didn’t completely — he didn’t offer a solution, particularly tonight. But you know, again, just getting back to his speech. I really, you know, in some way, I regret that he had to touch all those bases. If it had just been about economic issues he’s pushing, it would have been more powerful, not that those issues, the other issues are vitally important to people, but the essence of his speech was economic speech. It was State of the Union speech attached to an economic speech.”

1100 Venezuelans Cross into West Texas Border Town Within 2 Weeks

Venezuelans
Breitbart Texas
2:50

A law enforcement source, speaking on the condition of anonymity, reported the illegal entry of more than 100 Venezuelan nationals south of Del Rio, Texas, early Wednesday morning. The group consisted of mostly family units and was apprehended by Border Patrol. They were transported to nearby stations for processing. Since April 16, Border Patrol agents have apprehended more 1,100 in the area.

On Tuesday, a group of 106 Venezuelans nationals entered in the same area. The groups are entering the United States illegally on a near daily basis.

Most will be summarily released into the community to travel to their destination in the United States. The few single adults within the group will await transfer to ICE for placement in facilities or released under alternatives to detention.

Del Rio, like other cities across the southern border, has seen its share of the increase in migrant traffic. A soft-sided facility was recently opened within the Del Rio Border Patrol Sector to deal with the influx. Del Rio has dealt with large groups of illegal migrants from outside the usual Central American countries normally encountered throughout other border areas.
