PAUL RYAN'S AMNESTY TO KEEP WAGES DEPRESSED: AMNESTY FIRST, HORDES NEXT, TRUMP'S PRETEND WALL NEVER

Democrats are responsible for tent cities for illegal alien kids

Illegal alien children are flooding across the border.  Some are coming alone; some are accompanied by adults who may or may not be their parents.  The government is overwhelmed by the numbers; recently, the government converted a former Walmart into a home for illegal alien kids.  Can you imagine seeing illegal aliens in a Walmart?  That's surely a first for our nation!
But as space runs out, the government has announced plans to open tent cities to house the illegal alien kids.  Democrats have blasted this as inhumane, and even Republican House speaker Paul Ryan says he is against separating kids from their illegal alien parents.
Well, if he's against it, what is he for?
This whole situation was created by Democrats.  First, Democrats and the courts created a magnet of welfare benefits for illegal aliens who entered the country.  It was so tantalizing that some families south of the border sent their children across, knowing they would get free food, shelter, and education.
Secondly, Obama expanded the definition of "asylum" to include people who claimed they feared "crime gangs" or even feared abusive husbands.  That incentivized illegal aliens to make up stories of persecution and to flood the border, creating another magnet that drew in all these illegal aliens – and their children.
Thirdly, Obama largely stopped prosecuting illegal aliens criminally for crossing the border.  Attorney General Jeff Sessions decided to start enforcing the law again, which sent parents of illegal aliens to jail.  Children could not accompany parents to jail, therefore they had to be sent somewhere.  The federal government doesn't have facilities to take care of thousands of children and therefore is planning to create a tent city or cities to process the illegal kids until they can be found foster homes.
The liberal media paint this as cruel in the extreme.  But if you look at what caused the children to be here in the first place, it was Democrats.  Democrats expected the parents, and their kids, to be able to walk across the border, be given a court date many years in the future, and be free to melt into the population – in effect, be given a "get out of jail free" card.  People south of the border, knowing this, have flooded across by the millions.
Now that the law is being enforced, it looks cruel to the children.  If there is any cruelty, it is caused by the Democrats, who lured all those kids here.  In the meantime, I suspect that the taxpayer-funded food, shelter, education, and entertainment these kids will receive will still be a big step up from the shacks they hail from.  And perhaps when word filters back across the border that crossing the border illegally is once again taken seriously, the unsustainable flow of illegals, created by the Democrats, will be reduced.

Paul Ryan DACA Deal Grants Amnesty First, Maybe Border Wall Later

A young Mexican helps a compatriot to climb the metal wall that divides the border between Mexico and the United States to cross illegally to Sunland Park, from Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua state, Mexico on April 6, 2018. US President Donald Trump on April 5, 2018 said he would send thousands …
Washington, D.C.393

A plan to give amnesty to potentially millions of illegal aliens who have been shielded from deportation by the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program would be triggered by secured funding for a wall along the United States-Mexico border, Breitbart News has learned.

The legislation, crafted by House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) and Rep. Bob Goodlatte (R-VA), obtained by Breitbart News gives at least 1.8 million DACA illegal aliens amnesty on the contingency that $25 billion is appropriated for President Trump’s border wall.
The Ryan/Goodlatte bill mandates that $25 billion be appropriated for a border wall to stop illegal immigration at the southern border. That funding “must not have been rescinded or transferred to another account” in order for the DACA amnesty to begin, a summary of the legislation provided to Breitbart News reads.
The amnesty for DACA illegal aliens would begin after five years, allowing for the eligible 1.8 million population to obtain Green Cards through a newly created “Merit-Based” immigration category.
This amnesty, though, would be halted if the $25 billion in border wall funding is not available for use at the border. A summary of the legislation notes:
Visa Availability – beginning in the sixth year of the program, the first green cards would be awarded under the new program only if the advanced appropriated funds for border security for that fiscal year have been made available for obligation, have not been transferred or reprogrammed for other non-border security purposes, and have not been rescinded. [Emphasis added]
In addition to fully funding a border wall, the Ryan/Goodlatte legislation closes the various immigration legal loopholes that perpetuate programs like “Catch and Release,” where illegal aliens are released into the U.S. while they await court proceedings.
The legislation would also allow the victims of illegal alien crimes to sue sanctuary cities for protecting criminal illegal aliens, though it does not cut funding to sanctuary cities altogether.
Sources close to Breitbart News have said that the immigration compromise deal — if passed out of the House next week — is likely to be watered down in the Senate, where the amnesty population is expected to be expanded and the enforcement measures of the legislation are expected to be gutted.

Coulter: Meanwhile, 10 Miles from the White House …

Now that Trump has solved Northeast Asia’s problems, maybe he can get to a problem in our country — in fact, within 10 miles of the White House.

For some reason, The Washington Post recently ran an article on something important — the MS-13 gang presence at a public school on the outskirts of our nation’s capital, William Wirt Middle School in Prince George’s County, Maryland.
The media’s usual approach to the diversity being inflicted on us is: Don’t report this! It’s better if no one knows. Maybe the left has decided it’s too late to do anything about the transformation of our country into a Third World hellhole, and Trump couldn’t stop it even if he wanted to.
The Post reported that, like many schools up
and down the East Coast, MS-13 has turned
Wirt into a battleground. There have been
near-daily gang fights, rampant drug dealing,
one reported rape, gang signs on the walls,
one shooting — more in nearby schools —
and teachers afraid to be alone with their
students. At least two students are required
to have security officers assigned to them,
walking them from class to class and
watching them during lunch hour, on
account of MS-13 threatening to kill them.
How many different categories of immigrants require special law enforcement officers devoted to them? Thanks to mass Muslim immigration, the FBI has terrorist watch lists in ALL 50 STATES. That’s why whenever there’s a terrorist attack, the FBI says, Oh yeah, we were watching that guy. And now we have police bodyguards for kids at schools wherever “unaccompanied minors” have been dumped by our government.
In addition to the free school lunches, transportation, housing and health care to pay for all this wonderful diversity, immigrants are also massively ratcheting up law enforcement costs.
It would be enraging enough if bad things were happening to our country and the immigrants were paying for it. But we’re paying for it. Wait — you are offering to bring gang warfare, drug cartels and terrorism? We’ll go top dollar for that! Put your wallet away! Your money’s no good here!
Having made the odd decision to report factual information about immigration, The Washington Post was careful to include the gigantically irrelevant, painfully idiotic cliche: The “vast majority” of poor Latin Americans pouring into our country “enroll in school and stay out of trouble.”
Yes, and the vast majority of boa constrictors stay out of trouble too. Let’s put them in our schools! In fact, far fewer boa constrictors kill Americans each year than Latin American immigrants do. Less than one a year. And boa constrictors don’t undercut you at the construction site.
We never hear that “vast majority” argument about the policies that liberals like. The “vast majority” of gun owners never shoot up a school. The “vast majority” of smokers will never get lung cancer. The “vast majority” of Americans do not benefit from Wall Street profits.
Why are we subjecting ourselves to mass immigration at all? Hey, everyone, let’s all get an HIV injection! Don’t worry, the vast majority of us won’t get AIDS!
We’re certainly not doing it to be nice to Hispanics. They’ve been polled and polled and polled, and it turns out they DON’T want more people being brought in to take their jobs and drive down wages. Recent immigrants probably don’t want their useless brother-in-law from Chiapas sleeping on the couch either.
In the 2012 presidential campaign, Obama’s Spanish language ads didn’t make a peep about immigration. Instead, he bragged about giving everyone free health care. (Sidebar: Unmentioned were the millions of people who lost their health care, thanks to all that free health care for immigrants.)
Less than two years ago, Republicans watched the most anti-immigrant politician in a century be elected president, with every major institution in America against him. Trump won more of the Hispanic vote than any Republican in a generation.
The Chamber of Commerce knows that Hispanics didn’t
come here to have their wages driven down by an unending
stream of unskilled workers just like themselves.
Republicans and Democrats know it. The only people who
don’t know it are Americans who don’t want to hurt
anyone’s feelings by opposing the constant importation of
unskilled, poverty-stricken immigrants.
The reason for this transformation of our country,
our culture and our politics is to flood the market
with low-wage workers and Democratic voters.
Obviously, those are losing arguments, so the
beneficiaries of mass Third World immigration lie.
They claim that anyone who doesn’t want to supply
the rich with cheap labor must hate Hispanics.
Trump thought North Korea was hard? With immigration, we have all of the most influential forces in our culture on the same page. Immigration is a great unifier of the rich and powerful.
The rich are like sharks — all appetite, no brain. With their cheap labor voting 7-3 for the Democrats, it won’t be long until Democrats have a lock on government. What do you think they’ll do then, Business Roundtable? Answer: Make it impossible to do business. Google “California.”
With the Chamber of Commerce, the Business Roundtable and the Koch brothers’ incessant lobbying for more and more cheap labor, we see exactly what Lenin said about the capitalists: They will sell us the rope with which to hang them.
The rich don’t care. They can’t think beyond next quarter’s earnings.

Trump promises Wall Street, the Plundering U.S. Chamber of Corporate Fascist, Mexico and voting illegals:
NO (real) WALL, NO E-VERIFY, CONTINUED NON-ENFORCEMENT, OPEN BORDERS ADVOCATE TO HEAD DHS….
But isn’t that already the La Raza Supremacy Democrat’s agenda???

GOP Immigration Deal: Potentially ‘Biggest’ Amnesty in U.S. History

A leaked draft of House Speaker Paul Ryan’s (R-WI) amnesty deal could lead to the “biggest” amnesty for illegal aliens in United States history, experts tell Breitbart News.

Ryan’s immigration deal would go beyond giving amnesty to only the nearly 800,000 illegal aliens who are enrolled in the President Obama-created Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.
According to a leaked draft of the amnesty deal, obtained by Breitbart News, Ryan’s plan would allow the entire “DACA population” to be eligible for amnesty so long as they meet low educational, work and criminal requirements, prompting the amnesty to explode in size.

A draft of the leaked GOP amnesty deal
That DACA population could include the nearly 3.5 million DACA-enrolled and DACA-eligible illegal aliens, and even more illegal aliens who arrive in the U.S. to fraudulently obtain the amnesty.
NumbersUSA Governmental Affairs Director Rosemary Jenks told Breitbart News that Ryan’s amnesty will — at the least — allow 1.8 million illegal aliens to stay in the U.S.
“This has the potential to turn into the biggest amnesty we’ve ever had,” Jenks said.
The leaked amnesty deal reveals that Ryan and the Republican establishment may even be considering going beyond giving amnesty to DACA illegal aliens.
A second amnesty is included in the leaked draft, one that would allow the children of temporary foreign guest workers and “anyone who has a ‘contingent nonimmigrant status'” to apply for the amnesty.

A draft of the leaked GOP amnesty deal
This amnesty for the children of temporary foreign workers does not have a numerical cap, allowing for an endless amount of foreign nationals to obtain amnesty through this avenue known as “Pathway Concept B.”
“The winners are the DREAMers cause they get their amnesty, Democrats because they don’t have to concede much to get the amnesty and donor-class Republicans who are interested in perpetuating the current system,” Center for Immigration Studies Director of Policy Jessica Vaughan told Breitbart News of Ryan’s leaked amnesty deal.
Unknown are the numbers of illegal aliens who will surge the United States-Mexico border at the enactment of such an amnesty plan.
Previously, Kansas Secretary of State and gubernatorial candidate Kris Kobach told Breitbart News that a DACA amnesty — even one smaller than this amnesty plan — would potentially cause a surge of one million illegal immigrants rushing the southern border.
Kobach told Breitbart News that Ryan’s leaked amnesty plan is a “nightmare” for Americans.
“The draft amnesty for the DREAMers is a nightmare for the American people. It is not limited to the 700,000 known DACA recipients,” Kobach said. “Instead, it appears to encompass an unlimited number of people, many of whom will claim fraudulently that they meet the minimal requirements to receive the amnesty.”
As Breitbart News reported, the Republican establishment and White House Legislative Affairs Director Marc Short are attempting to stampede President Trump into the amnesty deal by pushing it through the House and Senate quickly, much like the trillion dollar omnibus spending bill – which did not fund the president’s border wall.

Ryan’s Amnesty Plan Compromises Trump’s Four Pillars

amnesty
Win McNamee/Pool via AP

House Speaker Paul Ryan’s amnesty plan compromises on several key elements of President Donald Trump’s ‘four pillars’ immigration reform, even though Ryan says his plan would implement the President’s populist vision.

According to a “discussion draft” of the Ryan proposal, which was provided to Breitbart News:
The plan does seek a $25 billion fund for the wall, but it legalizes at least 1.8 million illegal immigrants — likely 3.6 million illegals — before any wall is built. The DACA migrants could use their legal status to apply for a green card after five years, and for citizenship later, if Congress provides the appropriated funds for the wall.
The plan trims chain migration of extended families by almost 80,000 a year, but does not set any limits on the fast-growing inflow of immigrants’ elderly parents, including the illegal-immigrant parents who brought the ‘DACA’ youths into the United States. The trimmed green cards would not be cancelled, but would be allocated to DACA migrants and to white-collar immigrants sought by business groups after the five-year waiting period.
The plan ends the visa lottery, but it preserves the current policy of giving 55,000 green cards per year to migrants — in this case, the DACA illegals — who do not have the skills which are needed to raise productivity and wages in the United States.
The Ryan plan delivers several reforms to immigration and asylum law that will close up several loopholes used by economic migrants — but it also creates new incentives for more migrants to try to get into the United States, even before the November elections.
Ryan’s amnesty plan is also coupled with a promise to provide in July another guest-worker program to the low-tech parts of the agriculture industry. That size of that expansion is undecided, but proposals by Judiciary Chairman Rep. Bob Goodlatte would have provided the agricultural industry with roughly 800,000 guest workers, plus 40,000 workers for the meatpacking industry. The program, dubbed the H-2C visa, may be combined with a requirement that larger employers use the E-Verify system to exclude illegal immigrants from jobs.
The Ryan plan does include an option to allocate visa-lottery green cards to the DACA migrants — or some older children of guest workers — who rank highest in a merit-based test. This would shift U.S. immigration policy towards Trump’s call for a merit-based, productivity-boosting immigration system.
The plan is largely set; say GOP leaders.

.@RepJeffDenham also said he’s hopeful the final bill will have something that could garner Democratic support
“The concrete has been poured,” @RepMarkMeadows said of the compromise immigration bill. “You can still make handprints in it, you can still write your name in it. It is far from set.”

Supporters of the plan say it will benefit Americans by nudging down annual immigration levels because it transfers green-cards to DACA illegals from a similar number of extended-family chain migrants who would otherwise settle in the United States. The DACA-for-migrants plan also would build confidence among GOP members in their ability to manage the constant pressure from the loose alliance of business groups and Democrats who want to raise immigration levels.
The plan could also deflate pressure in 2019 from Democrats and the GOP’s business-first wing to use a DACA amnesty to raise the annual level of legal immigration far above 1 million.
The plan is already being opposed by business groups who want to dramatically increase the inflow of blue-collar and white-collar workers. The business groups want a bipartisan bill because that would likely require the GOP to raise the level of annual immigration.

Business groups used their political influence to block the compromise reform plan in the Goodlatte bill, citing text which enforces significant cuts to the current inflow of legal immigrants.
The annual inflow of 1 million migrants join the U.S. workforce alongside 4 million American graduates and push down wages in construction, retail, agriculture, and in many other blue-collar and white-collar sectors. The migrants also are consumers and retailers, so boosting revenue for U.S. investors and Wall Street.

3) @RAICESTEXAS shared this story of a 4 month old, separated from her parents seeking asylum...it’s hard to read: https://twitter.com/raicestexas/status/1006609139685052417?s=21
4) There appear to be promises of a vote on the Goodlatte bill, which lacks permenant protections for Dreamers but include 45% cuts to LEGAL immigration, the biggest cuts since the racial quota laws of the 1920s.

That demand for more imported labor is a central goal of the donors who are funding the GOP politicians who signed the discharge-amnesty list.
“Our goal is to not cut legal immigration,” Rep. Carlos Curbelo told RollCall.com on June 8. The number of illegals who get green cards from the amnesty should be “as high a number as possible,” he said. The number of young illegal immigrants in the United States is estimated at up to 3.6 million, and 1 million people legally immigrate each year.
On June 13, Curbelo repeated his demand, telling TheHill.com that “some visas may be shifted towards employment visas, but our goal is to not cut legal immigration.”
Curbelo’s donors include some of the Florida millionaires who have threatened to cut off donations until Ryan approves an amnesty. For example, Mike Fernandez’s MBF Healthcare Partners has donated $10,800 to Curbelo in the 2018 cycle. Fernandez’s pro-amnesty group includes several CEOs of agriculture and construction companies, and it frankly states that it wants more even migrants to serve as consumers and workers:
ABIC promotes sensible immigration reform that supports the economy of the United States, provides American companies with both the high-skilled and low-skilled talent they need, and allows the integration of immigrants into our economy as consumers, workers, entrepreneurs and citizens.
Also, many GOP legislators are from agriculture districts where cash-poor farmers and dairy farmers cannot easily replace the legal and illegal workers who leave the farm for better-paying jobs in town. The labor-supply problem is tougher for farmers near Democratic-controlled cities, such as New York, where officials tout their determination to block the enforcement of immigration laws.
In his January 30, State of the Union speech, Trump promised an “American First” immigration policy to replace the current donor-driven immigration policy. He said:
Struggling communities, especially immigrant communities, will also be helped by immigration policies that focus on the best interests of American workers and American families…
But as president of the United States, my highest loyalty, my greatest compassion, and my constant concern is for America’s children, America’s struggling workers, and America’s forgotten communities.  I want our youth to grow up to achieve great things. I want our poor to have their chance to rise.
Trump detailed his plan in the speech, saying:
Here are the four pillars of our plan:
The first pillar of our framework generously offers a path to citizenship for 1.8 million illegal immigrants who were brought here by their parents at a young age — that covers almost three times more people than the previous administration covered.  Under our plan, those who meet education and work requirements, and show good moral character, will be able to become full citizens of the United States over a 12-year period.
The second pillar fully secures the border. That means building a great wall on the Southern border, and it means hiring more heroes like CJ to keep our communities safe. Crucially, our plan closes the terrible loopholes exploited by criminals and terrorists to enter our country — and it finally ends the horrible and dangerous practice of “catch and release.”
The third pillar ends the visa lottery — a program that randomly hands out green cards without any regard for skill, merit or the safety of American people.  It is time to begin moving towards a merit-based immigration system — one that admits people who are skilled, who want to work, who will contribute to our society, and who will love and respect our country.
The fourth and final pillar protects the nuclear family by ending chain migration. Under the current broken system, a single immigrant can bring in virtually unlimited numbers of distant relatives. Under our plan, we focus on the immediate family by limiting sponsorships to spouses and minor children. This vital reform is necessary, not just for our economy, but for our security, and for the future of America.
In recent weeks, two terrorist attacks in New York were made possible by the visa lottery and chain migration. In the age of terrorism, these programs present risks we can just no longer afford.
It is time to reform these outdated immigration rules and finally bring our immigration system into the 21st century.
These four pillars represent a down-the-middle compromise, and one that will create a safe, modern and lawful immigration system.
For over 30 years, Washington has tried and failed to solve this problem. This Congress can be the one that finally makes it happen.
Most importantly, these four pillars will produce legislation that fulfills my ironclad pledge to sign a bill that puts America first. So let us come together, set politics aside and finally get the job done.
These reforms will also support our response to the terrible crisis of opioid and drug addiction. Never before has it been like it is now. It is terrible. We have to do something about it.
Trump’s support for an immigration policy that helps American workers employees — not just employers and investors– helped him win the 2016 election. He reiterated that policy in his January 20 inauguration speech, where he declared:
We will follow two simple rules; buy American and hire American…
At the bedrock of our politics will be a total allegiance to the United States of America, and through our loyalty to our country, we will rediscover our loyalty to each other. When you open your heart to patriotism, there is no room for prejudice.
Amnesty advocates rely on business-funded “Nation of Immigrants” push-polls to show apparent voter support for immigration and immigrants.
But “choice” polls reveal most voters’ often-ignored preference that CEOs should hire Americans at decent wages before hiring migrants. Those Americans include many blue-collar Blacks, Latinos, and people who hide their opinions from pollsters. Similarly, the 2018 polls show that GOP voters are far more concerned about migration — more properly, the economics of migration — than they are concerned about illegal migration and MS-13, taxes, or the return of Rep. Nancy Pelosi.
Four million Americans turn 18 each year and begin looking for good jobs in the free market — but the government provides green cards to roughly 1 million legal immigrants and temporary work-permits to roughly 3 million foreign workers.
The Washington-imposed economic policy of economic growth via mass-immigration shifts wealth from young people towards older people by flooding the market with foreign labor. That process spikes profits and Wall Street values by cutting salaries for manual and skilled labor offered by blue-collar and white-collar employees. The policy also drives up real estate priceswidens wealth-gaps, reduces high-tech investment, increases state and local tax burdens, hurts kids’ schools and college education, pushes Americans away from high-tech careers, and sidelines at least 5 million marginalized Americans and their families, including many who are now struggling with opioid addictions.

Leaked Amnesty Draft: Mass Legal Immigration, Chain Migration Repurposed to Import Foreign Workers

 Washington, D.C.687

A leaked draft of House Speaker Paul Ryan’s (R-WI) amnesty dealconfirms Breitbart News’s previous reports detailing how the legislation would not reduce legal immigration levels to the United States, as President Trump and likely voters have demanded.

In a draft of Ryan’s amnesty deal, obtained by Breitbart News, for potentially millions of illegal aliens who qualify for the President Obama-created Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, current levels of legal immigration at which the U.S. admits more than one million immigrants a year would continue.
The leaked draft only ends two categories of the process known as “chain migration,” where newly naturalized citizens can bring an unlimited number of foreign relatives to the U.S. Chain migration is partially responsible for importing more than 10.5 million foreign nationals to the country in the last decade.
The chain migration categories that allow newly naturalized citizens to bring their adult married children and adult siblings to the U.S. would be eliminated by Ryan’s amnesty deal. Meanwhile, naturalized citizens would still be allowed to bring their parents and unmarried adult children to the U.S.
While eliminating just two of the four chain migration categories, Ryan’s amnesty deal merely repurposes much of those roughly 88,400 visas to allow businesses to import foreign workers to take white collar American jobs.

A leaked draft of the GOP amnesty deal
The Diversity Visa Lottery program, which Trump has repeatedly asked the Republican-controlled Congress to end, would likewise be eliminated, but repurposed.
The Visa Lottery gives out about 55,000 visas every year to foreign nationals from a multitude of countries, including those with known terrorist problems – such as Afghanistan, Algeria, Egypt, Iraq, Lebanon, Libya, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Syria, Trinidad and Tobago, Venezuela, Yemen, and Uzbekistan. Since 2005, nearly 510,000 foreign nationals have won the Visa Lottery to come to the U.S.
Ryan’s amnesty deal would end the Visa Lottery program, but repurpose those 55,000 visas and hand them over to DACA illegal aliens for amnesty to stay in the U.S. permanently.

A leaked draft of the GOP amnesty deal
NumbersUSA Governmental Affairs Director Rosemary Jenks told Breitbart News that Ryan’s amnesty deal gives immediate benefits to illegal aliens while American workers not only see no net reduction to legal immigration but an increased number in foreign workers being imported by business.
“This is very, very similar to the Gang of Eight amnesty,” Jenks told Breitbart News. “Amnesty right up front.”
For months, likely votersswing votersGOP midterm votersblack Americans, and Hispanic Americans have repeatedly told pollsters that they would like to see legal immigration to the U.S. reduced from current levels, where more than 1.5 million foreigners entered the country in 2016.
Most recent polling from the latest CBS News/YouGov Poll found that a majority of likely voters in 2018 battleground districts said immigration to the U.S. has made American life “worse.”
majority of white Americans and swing voters in battleground districts said the same of immigration’s impact on their community, while more than 4-in-9 black Americans agreed.
Currently, the U.S. admits more than 1.5 million legal and illegal immigrants every year, with more than 70 percent coming to the country through chain migration. In the next 20 years, the current U.S. legal immigration system is on track to import roughly 15 million new foreign-born voters. Between seven and eight million of those foreign-born voters will arrive in the U.S. through chain migration.

Exclusive–Mickey Kaus: ‘Crucial Economic Fight’ Is Stopping Amnesty to Secure Higher Wages for Americans

  Washington, D.C.196

Author and immigration expert Mickey Kaus says an expansive amnesty for illegal aliens threatens Americans’ wages first and foremost, as a flooded labor market keeps U.S. wages low and stagnant.

In an interview with SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Sunday, Kaus told Deputy Political Editor Amanda House that staving off an amnesty for millions of illegal aliens — a plan the GOP House is considering — is “crucial” to securing higher wages for American workers, as President Trump’s tightened labor market has done thus far.
Listen to Mickey Kaus’ full interview here:

If the amnesty was just the 700,000 people that are in Obama’s DACA program now, that are protected now, it would be limited. We know who they are, the impact would be contained. What [Congress] is talking about is everybody who might be eligible for Obama’s program and even sort of into the future, people who age into it, and that’s like 1.8 million [illegal aliens], but really it’s going to be much more because of the potential for fraud. There’s going to be millions and millions of people coming across the border and then claiming that they’ve been here all along and it’s going to be a big mess. [Emphasis added]
We are finally getting to the stage of people who do basic work… maybe not college graduates, maybe college graduates who took majors that have no economic value, are starting to make some money because employers are desperate for workers. So we see Costco raising their wages and some fast food places are paying $17, $18 an hour. There are only a few [fast food chains raising wages], but if the market stays tight, there will be more of them. And that will be a huge shift in American culture that ordinary workers will be able to become middle class people again, or close to middle class, lower middle class at least. [Emphasis added]
Employers want to bring in cheap immigrants to stop this. They would rather not pay wages, so there’s a huge lobbying campaign… that is the crucial economic fight going on now and that’s the main affect of immigration. [Emphasis added]
A group of business first Republicans have signed onto the discharge petition to force a vote to bring an expansive amnesty plan for illegal aliens enrolled and eligible on the President Obama-created Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program to the House floor.
The discharge petition could lead to the massive DREAM Act amnesty — which could give amnesty to a great portion of the 12 to 30 million illegal aliens in the U.S. — being passed out of the House and Senate with a veto-proof majority.
In an effort to stop the discharge petition amnesty, House Republicans are working on an immigration compromise bill. The legislation, as Breitbart News reported, would not immediately reduce legal immigration levels, at which more than 1.5 million immigrants enter the U.S. every year.
Mass immigration for decades has resulted in stagnant wages for American workers. In one example, as Breitbart News reported, construction wages in California were once upwards of $45 an hour. When illegal aliens and legal immigrants flooded the U.S. labor market over the past four decades, wages drastically dropped, with starting construction wages at anywhere between $10 to $11 an hour, a whistleblower revealed.
The big business-preferred cheap labor economic model of importing more than one million new legal immigrants every year to compete mostly for working and middle-class jobs against Americans has resulted in decades of stagnant and even decreased wages for U.S. workers:
Median earnings of full-time, year-round workers, 15 years and older, 1960 to 2016.
For instance, the massive importation of low-skilled foreign nationals to the U.S. has translated to a cheap labor economy that has aided in keeping American men’s wages stagnant for at least 44 years, as Breitbart News reported. Median earnings for American men working full-time were actually lower in 2016 than they were in 2007.

CEO to Business Owners: Raise U.S. Wages to Bring Disenfranchised Americans Back into Workforce

The chairman and CEO of a billion dollar financial planning company is urging American businesses to raise U.S. workers’ wages to attract disenfranchised Americans back into the labor market.
Karen Firestone, the CEO of Aureus Asset Management, tells businesses in her column for CNBC that they should raise Americans’ wages to integrate workers back into the workforce instead of demanding that more foreign workers be imported to take coveted white collar and blue collar jobs.
Firestone writes:
Therefore, I would conclude that the ubiquitous “Help Wanted” signs I see in multiple storefronts and restaurants, and articles about industries such as trucking, airlines, nursing, and IT will force employers, faced with labor shortages, to ultimately pay more. After the recession, millions of people who lost jobs became self-employed or under-employed – Uber drivers, personal trainers, dog walkers, home relocation experts, etc., and they were simply not in the data set.
Offer them enough, and many will come back to the labor force. Meanwhile, I’ve lost my dog walker. She’s back working for a digital advertising company.
In President Trump’s tightened labor market, sects of blue collar American workers have seen rising wages as immigration enforcement is ramped up. But, overall, wages have grown at a slow pace, indicating that the labor market could be further tightened to help more quickly raise U.S. wages.
While Firestone says businesses should be working to bring Americans back to the labor force, the majority of the big business, Wall Street, and financial industry has lobbied the Trump administration and Congress to import more foreign workers to compete against Americans.
Most recently, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce wrote in a letter to Trump and Congress that not only should illegal aliens be given amnesty, but the president’s popular plan to reduce legal immigration to boost Americans’ wages should be opposed and halted.
With the tightened labor market, there has been history-making wage growth for American workers in the construction industry, the garment industry, for workers employed at small businessesblack Americans, and restaurant workers.
The tight labor market has also secured higher wages for overtime workers and high-paying, coveted white collar jobs for American teenagers. Most recently, Breitbart News reported how the construction industry has had to recruit women to take jobs at higher wages rather than hiring illegal aliens. A Chick-Fil-A in California even raised wages to $18 an hour to retain workers.
Labor data does not accurately explain the wage growth in pockets of blue-collar industries that Americans across the U.S. have experienced due to the Trump administration’s stricter immigration enforcement. This is largely due to the fact that labor data does not break down wage growth by occupation and industry.

159 Migrants Found in Four South Texas Stash Houses

Border Patrol Agents teamed up with local, state, and other federal law enforcement partners to shut down four human smuggling stash houses in South Texas. The raids over a two-day period resulted in the apprehension of 159 illegal immigrants.

Rio Grande Valley Sector agents carried out raids on four separate houses in cooperation with other law enforcement officials. The raids resulted in the arrests of 159 illegal immigrants from Mexico and Central America, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officials.
The raids began on Sunday when Border Patrol agents teamed up with special agents from CBP’s Homeland Security Investigations and Mission Police Department officers to raid a suspected human smuggling stash house. Once inside, the agents found 50 illegal immigrants warehoused inside the Mission, Texas, residence.
The following day, Border Patrol agents carried out three more stash house raids in the border towns of Donna, Alamo, and Edinburg, Texas. While working with Hidalgo County Constable’s Office deputies, the agents found 109 migrants packed into the houses.
Officials said the migrants found inside the stash houses came to the U.S. from Belize, El Salvador, Ecuador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, and Nicaragua. The migrants included men, women, and children.
After providing medical attention for any in need, the agents transported the illegal immigrants to the McAllen Station for processing where they could face charges of illegal entry without inspection.
Officials did not disclose the results of background investigations on the subjects. Often, Border Patrol agents find previously deported illegal immigrants mixed in with the groups. Additionally, the agents also find violent criminals hiding amidst the women and children. Sometimes those include rapists and child molesters.
Border Patrol agents previously told Breitbart Texas that migrants are often abused inside stash houses, which are operated by cartel-connected human smugglers. Men are frequently beaten as a form of intimidation and the women are often raped. They are packed inside the small houses in what Border Patrol officials have described as “deplorable conditions” where there is inadequate plumbing, filthy kitchen areas, a lack of food and water, and a lack of air conditioning inside the excessively hot houses. Migrants are also frequently held for ransom as the smugglers attempt to extort additional money from the families of their hostages.
