An online poll presented by National Review Online (NRO) shows that 66% of Americans do not approve of Senator Marco Rubio's efforts to legalize millions of illegal immigrants in America.

The poll asked "Is Rubio doing the right thing on immigration?" and showed 66% answering "No" and 34% answering "Yes" at the close of the poll in the morning hours of April 11, 2013.

Marco Rubio (202-224-3041) is working with other Republicans such as John McCain, Lindsey Graham, and Jeff Flake in the "Gang of 8" to try to radically alter American immigration laws to accommodate and legalize millions of illegal aliens.

This effort puts Marco Rubio at odds with his own party and 66% of Americans while aligning him with very liberal Democrats on immigration issues with Barack Obama and US Senator Charles Schumer (D-NY) who have openly called for Amnesty for illegal aliens.

The bill is being referred to in the US Media as the "Rubio-Schumer Bill."

"Marco Rubio is destroying his future viability in American politics just like John McCain, Elliot Spitzer, and Jon Corzine by openly supporting illegal immigrants and their interests over those of American citizens," said William Gheen, President of ALIPAC. "This makes Marco Rubio's name infamously associated with the death, destruction, job loss, and theft of taxpayer resources associated with the illegal alien invasion of America. We will remember his treachery and the treachery of all DC lawmakers supporting this Amnesty attempt in the 2014 elections!"

ALPAC announced the launch of their 2014 candidate and campaign endorsements efforts yesterday. A full fledged effort is being launched to support candidates who oppose Rubio's Amnesty and to find primary and general election challengers for DC lawmakers like Rubio who support Amnesty for illegal aliens.

The 66% opposition rate demonstrated in this recent National Review Online poll is consistent with scientific and certified polling data on past Amnesty bills that also showed 66% vs 33% American opposition to Amnesty legislation.

Sixty-one percent (61%) of likely American voters oppose providing a path to US citizenship for those illegal immigrants who entered the United States illegally [April 2007, McLaughlin & Associates Poll]. Only 22% of voters support the Dream Act proposal introduced by Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL) and 59% of all voters oppose the Dream Act concept [October 2007, Rasmussen Reports]. Sixty-nine percent (69%) of voters say controlling the border is more important than legalizing the status of undocumented workers, while just 21% think legalization is more important [August 2008, Rasmussen Reports].
Seventy-eight percent (78%) of likely voters were opposed to legalizing the status of the estimated 12 million illegal immigrants in the U.S. with only 19% supporting it. Eighty-eight percent (88%) of African-Americans were opposed to legalization. Pulse Opinion Research, LLC, September, 2009
