Several sanctuary cities and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) are expected to secure $300 million in American taxpayer dollars for resettling migrants across the United States on behalf of President Joe Biden’s administration.

On Friday, Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas announced that certain cities and NGOs will soon receive $300 million worth of federal grants via the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s (FEMA) Shelter and Services Program (SSP).

The Biden administration created SSP, funded by Congress, to dish out taxpayer money to cities and NGOs helping resettle migrants after they are released into the nation’s interior from the southern border.

In his announcement, Mayorkas said about $275 million will soon be distributed to cities and NGOs while the remaining $25 million will be given out toward the end of the year. Another nearly $341 million will be awarded through SSP’s competitive grants.

The taxpayer funds are only the latest to be allocated to cities and NGOs resettling migrants for the Biden administration.

Last year, alone, DHS provided such cities and NGOs with more than $780 million in funds via SSP and the Emergency Food and Shelter Program (EFSP), a program started in the late 1980s meant to help homeless Americans.

According to the latest Congressional Budget Office (CBO) estimate, published in January, the Biden administration has released 6.2 million migrants into the U.S. interior since early 2021.

THREE GAMER LAWYERS: BIDEN, MAYORKAS AND SCHUMER.

Marsha Blackburn Calls for Senate Trial Against Mayorkas

Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) is calling for a full Senate trial against Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, which she emphasized during an appearance on Breitbart News Saturday.

Blackburn said she is “very hopeful” that Republicans are going to emerge as the victors in the 2024 presidential election because Americans “know that many of the problems in this country are caused by that wide open border.”

“I am very hopeful that we are going to win this thing because I think the American people love their freedom. They love their country. And they are not going to sit idly by and let the Democrats take their freedom,” she said, pointing directly to Mayorkas’s impeachment trial.

“Look at what we’re facing right now with Mayorkas. Chuck Schumer is saying he’s going to table the Articles of Impeachment and not move forward with a trial. And of course, what you’ve got is back when it was Donald Trump, Chuck Schumer was saying we have to do our constitutional duty. We have to have this trial and, man, it is the constitutional duty. It is laid out. … Go pull up the Constitution. Look at Article One, Section Two, that lays out what the House has to do in impeachment. And Section Three lays out what the Senate has to do. So that’s Article One, Section Two, and Section Three. And the American people know that many of the problems in this country are caused by that wide-open border,” Blackburn said, explaining that lawmakers should be “impeaching Mayorkas.”

“You’ve got hundreds of thousands of Americans that have been adversely impacted by this open border — the drugs and the fentanyl, fentanyl deaths, families that have been broken apart, human trafficking, sex trafficking, crime in communities that is adversely impacting individuals. All of that is happening,” the Tennessee senator said.

“And then you’ve got one of the things we’ve heard a good bit about recently, is the way those that have been paroled into the country and have gotten a work permit, they’re out taking the jobs of hard working Americans and then making it more difficult for those individuals to find employment,” she continued, laying out the issues.

When asked if she believes there needs to be U.S. Senate trial just like they did with President Trump, Blackburn said, “Yes, absolutely.”

“We are constitutionally bound and mandated to do [that], and Matt, the American people need to know what has transpired,” she said, explaining that Americans need to know how Biden made the decision to “take 94 executive orders in the first 100 days of Joe Biden’s administration” to open up the border and make it easier for migrants to enter the country illegally.

“They weakened immigration law — 94 different actions. They also need to know where the money is coming from to pay for all of these individuals. How is it that they are financing all of this? People want to know, my goodness, you hear about the amount of money that is being spent to fly individuals around the country once they cross the border,” she said, pointing to the parole program, which also flies parolees from countries to the United States.

“And we get asked these questions every day. So let’s expose every bit of that. Let’s put every bit of that information out so that the American people can see and find out exactly how this was done and then be able to hold people responsible for what has transpired with this open border,” Blackburn added.

Biden, It Was YOU!

In previous decades, it was customary for sitting presidents to refrain from berating and criticizing the work of previous presidents, but Joe Biden has never been one to engage in human decency.  Thus, from the onset of his presidency, he has relentlessly scapegoated President Trump to deflect criticism of his nearly four years of failed leadership.

With a presidential election six month away, it is time to highlight Biden's failed policies and lay blame where it belongs: at the feet of the current occupier of the White House.

It was not President Trump who refused to enforce our immigration laws.  It was YOU!

It was not President Trump who opened our southern border to 10 million illegals from around the globe.  By erasing President Trump's executive order, worked out with Mexico, to house illegals there, Biden made himself responsible for the entry of drug cartels, criminals, gang members, rapists, and terrorists from enemy countries into our collective home.  It was YOU!

It was not President Trump who secretly and illegally flew 325,000 illegals from across the globe to cities across the U.S. at taxpayers’ expense.  It was YOU!

It was not President Trump who allowed CCP-affiliated military-aged men to enter our collective home illegally.  It was YOU!

It was not President Trump who erased our energy independence by shutting down the Keystone Pipeline and making us once again energy dependent on foreign sources.  It was YOU!

It was not President Trump who enriched Russia by removing sanctions he put into place.  It was YOU!

It was not President Trump who shut off our domestic supply of energy.  It was YOU!

It was not President Trump who handed over Afghanistan along with billions of dollars in military hardware to the Taliban.  It was YOU!

It was not President Trump who left behind Americans and Afghanis working with the U.S. to die at the hands of the Taliban.  It was YOU!

It is said that Afghanistan contains $1 trillion in mineral deposits and the largest lithium deposits, needed to produce batteries used in electric vehicles.  It was not President Trump who left behind a country rich with minerals to the awaiting Red Chinese.  It was YOU!

When President Trump left office, the inflation rate was 1.4%.  When Biden took office, inflation rose to 9.1% in 2022, and although it has since fallen, prices today are 19% higher than when President Trump left office.  Under President Trump, we had the lowest inflation in 50 years.  Biden erased it.  It was YOU!

It was not President Trump who erased the tariffs placed upon Red China to correct the trade imbalance.  It was YOU!

When it comes to law and order, it was not President Trump who defied our Supreme Court by erasing a $7.4-billion dollar student debt, leaving taxpayers to foot the bill.  It was YOU!

It was not President Trump who allowed domestic terrorist organizations (Antifa, Black Lives Matter, and Hamas proxies here in the U.S.) to assault Americans verbally and physically in urban areas throughout the country.  It was YOU!

It was not President Trump who weaponized our DOJ, FBI, and CIA to target the opposition (Trump staffers, Trump-supporters, attorneys, journalists, and Trump himself).  It was YOU!

To steal the 2020 presidential election, it was not President Trump who coordinated with social media platforms such as Twitter and Facebook to censor information about the Hunter Biden laptop, Biden’s role as the “Big Guy” in Ukraine’s Burisma, and the effort to censor critics of the COVID vaccine.  It was YOU!

When it comes to criminal activity, Joe Biden has had a history of selling out the United States to the Red Chinese, Russia, Ukraine, and Iran.  It was not President Trump who gave our enemy Iran a total of $80 billion since coming into office.  It was YOU!

It was not President Trump who enriched Iran by removing previous sanctions.  It was YOU!

It was not President Trump who in 2022 sent our CIA to Brazil to aid in the overthrow of democratically elected president Jair Bolsonaro in favor of the installation of communist Lula da Silva as president.  It was YOU!

It was not President Trump who got us into a proxy war with Ukraine.  It was YOU!

It was not President Trump who enabled and allowed Hamas to conduct a massacre in Israel on Oct. 7.  It happened under your watch.  It was YOU!

Due to the failure of the Palestinian Authority to recognize Israel, President Trump closed their offices in NYC and Washington, D.C.  It wasn't President Trump who opened the once closed offices of the P.A. headquarters here in NYC.  It was YOU!

It wasn't President Trump who resumed funding of UNWRA (a Hamas proxy).  It was YOU!

It wasn't President Trump who threatened Israel with an arms embargo.  It was YOU!

It wasn't President Trump who left American hostages in Gaza.  It was YOU!

It wasn't President Trump who refused to veto a U.N. anti-Israel resolution, which called for a ceasefire, thus enabling Hamas to regroup and survive.  It was YOU!

And it isn’t President Trump who is currently working with the Israeli left in Israel to conduct a four-part plan for a Color Revolution in an effort to overthrow the democratically elected government of Bibi Netanyahu.  It is YOU!

YOU did all that!

NYC Migrant Accused of Boat Joyriding Freed Without Bail, Then Tries Again

The homeless migrant recently accused of taking an FDNY fireboat and another vessel for joyrides is apparently up to his old tricks again in New York City.

The suspect, who is originally from Ecuador, got into trouble for allegedly swiping the historic FDNY boat, then later hopping onto a sailboat. Not long after officials released him without bail on Friday, he reportedly tried to board a much bigger ship in Manhattan, the New York Post reported on Friday, citing multiple sources:

The outlet continued:

Juan Hernandez, 22, of Ecuador was set free by Judge Marva Brown on Friday morning after allegedly taking the former FDNY-owned vessel John J. Harvey on a wild journey down the Hudson River early Thursday before swiping a sailboat in Chelsea for another jaunt.

By noon Friday, the alleged boat bandit was back on the street and trying to get onboard the Frying Pan — a 133-foot lightship that boasts a popular floating restaurant at Pier 66, according to workers and owners.

Co-owner of the Pier 66 Maritime, Angela Krevey, said the man claimed he left his passport aboard the vessel. However, some people said he may have thought the Frying Pan was the fire boat because of its location and color scheme.

The man reportedly demanded to be let onto the barge, but when the police were called to handle the situation, they said they were unable to do anything about him because he is a free man, Krevey explained, adding there was no passport onboard the vessel.

When speaking of the incidents that happened on Thursday, Krevey said, “If he was charged with two counts of grand larceny, why was he released from jail? I don’t get this city. I really don’t.”

Video footage shows the John J. Harvey and the Frying Pan:

Social media users were quick to share their thoughts on the case, one person writing, “NYC has fallen. The Mayor calls it the ‘perception’ of crime. Stay away from NYC.”

“This is the NY you wanted, now, you got it. Keep voting for liberal policies and politicians and they will give you what you deserve,” another user commented.

It is important to note that sanctuary cities and their surrounding suburbs are suffering a crime wave because of migrants released by President Joe Biden’s (D) administration after they illegally crossed the border, Breitbart News reported on January 31.

“Police, particularly in the Chicago area and New York City, reported significant increases in crime related to migrants relocated to their cities,” the outlet said.

THE DEMOCRAT PARTY OF LIARS AND BRIBES SUCKERS - Sen. Jacky Rosen says she's committed to cracking down on the corporate landowners jacking up housing costs for her constituents. But the Nevada Democrat has no problem raking in campaign contributions from executives at America's largest corporate landlord.

THEY CAN'T SUCK OFF WALL STREET FAST ENOUGH! THAT IS, WHEN THEY'RE NOT BENDING OVER FOR RED CHINA!!!

Sen. Jacky Rosen says she's committed to cracking down on the corporate landowners jacking up housing costs for her constituents. But the Nevada Democrat has no problem raking in campaign contributions from executives at America's largest corporate landlord.

Rosen's campaign and leadership PAC have accepted $83,250 in 2023 from executives of Blackstone, a leading corporate investor in the U.S. housing market, Federal Election Commission records show. Blackstone is the largest landlord in the country, with over 300,000 housing units in its portfolio, and is a direct contributor to the affordable housing crisis, according to a 2023 report by the Private Equity Stakeholder Project. Among Rosen's donors is Frank Cohen, the chairman and CEO of Blackstone's flagship real estate investment fund, which is heavily invested in Nevada. Cohen gave $13,200 to Rosen in August.

Now, Rosen says corporate landowners like Blackstone are responsible for driving up the cost of living for everyday Americans by monopolizing residential housing markets. Rosen introduced legislation in January that she said would limit the ability of companies like Blackstone to acquire an excessive amount of single-family residences in a single market and prohibit them from renting homes at an "unreasonable price."

"Every Nevadan should have a home, and corporate investors are coming to Nevada, they are buying up homes, buying up apartment buildings, and they are jacking up the prices so people cannot afford to live in the community," Rosen said during an affordable housing round table in February.

Rosen's reliance on campaign contributions from corporate landlord executives is the latest example of hypocrisy that could trip up the vulnerable Nevada Democrat as she hopes to secure a second term in November. Rosen has also introduced legislation to put a stop to the Congress-lobbying revolving door, but her team is teeming with former lobbyists, and many of her former staffers have gone on to become lobbyists, the Washington Free Beacon reported.

Rosen's proposal may come as unwelcome news for Blackstone, which has purchased at least nine apartment buildings in Las Vegas since 2017, and has made significant investments in single-family homes across the country since the end of the pandemic. Blackstone is expected to have the third-largest single-family home portfolio in the United States following its $3.5 billion acquisition of Tricon Residential in January, according to Parcl Labs.

With its commanding market share, Blackstone has moved to raise rents up to 64 percent in some of its properties since 2021, according to the Private Equity Stakeholder Project. The company also reaped a tidy profit from evicting residents after COVID-era eviction restrictions loosened.

Blackstone was "seeing a meaningful increase in economic occupancy as we move past what were voluntary eviction restrictions," said Rosen campaign donor Nadeem Meghji, the co-head of Blackstone's global real estate operations, during an internal company call in December 2022 obtained by Business Insider. During the call, Meghji expressed confidence the evictions would contribute to the company's "cash-flow growth."

Rosen's constituents weren't spared from Blackstone's eviction spree. The company filed 104 eviction suits in Clark County, the state's largest county and the home of Las Vegas, from July 2022 through February 2023, Business Insider reported.

A Blackstone spokesperson justified the company's move to evict residents after the pandemic, but declined to comment on the contributions to Rosen's campaign from its executives.

"We believe we are the only major landlord in the US that did not evict a single resident for non-payment across our US rental housing portfolio for more than two years during the pandemic," the Blackstone spokesperson said. "Even prior to the pandemic, we had an eviction rate in the US that was less than half the historical national average."

It appears unlikely Rosen's measure will move far in the Senate, with the bill not picking up any cosponsors in the upper chamber.

The Cook Political Report last week shifted its assessment of Rosen's seat from its "Lean Democrat" column to "toss-up" after polls indicated the senator is in for a tough contest against her expected Republican opponent, Army veteran Sam Brown.

The Rosen campaign did not say if the Nevada Democrat would return the campaign contributions she received from Blackstone executives when reached by the Free Beacon for comment.

"Unlike her extreme opponents, Senator Rosen has consistently worked to lower skyrocketing home and rent costs for hardworking Nevadans. She will continue standing up against price gouging and other unfair practices by corporate investors in the housing market to help level the playing field for Nevada's middle class families," a Rosen campaign spokesperson told the Free Beacon.
