Exclusive — Tom Cotton Warns: Democrats Using DACA to Slip Amnesty into Budget
MANCHESTER, New Hampshire — Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) told Breitbart News in an exclusive interview that Democrats are using Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), a program that has provided quasi-amnesty to hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens since 2012, to leverage large scale amnesty.
“The president cannot simply say he is not gonna enforce an entire category of our laws, so the case was rightly decided,” Cotton said about the DACA program that was canceled on July 16. “There should be no more DACA permits issued period. And what Congress should do is address these problems in a targeted way.”
“But what the Democrats won’t do, it’s just that: They want to use the people who have received the DACA program’s benefits as leverage to get a massive amnesty,” Cotton stated. “So even when President Trump proposed a step that would give those recipients legal status in return for things like eliminating chain migration, finishing the wall, eliminating the diversity lottery, the Democrats said no, because they want a massive amnesty.”
“That’s what they’re trying to do right now in their big budget blow out. They wanna slip amnesty in there. They’re gonna claim it’s just for a few very sympathetic DACA recipients. In reality, it’s gonna be for millions and millions of illegal aliens,” Cotton continued.
When Cotton was asked what he thought of the federal ruling in July that struck down DACA, he responded in total agreement with the ruling.
“The judge is right,” he said. “The case is not about whether DACA is popular or whether Congress should take such action, or whether the recipients of that program’s benefits are sympathetic.” The case is “about whether the President can rewrite laws that Congress has passed and that’s what Barack Obama tried to do in 2012.”
Breitbart News reported July 16 Texas Federal Judge Andrew Hanen ordered Biden’s administration to terminate the DACA program by “blocking the federal government from allowing new applicants, illegal aliens who have not previously been enrolled, onto the program’s rolls.”
As Cotton explained, Senate Democrats are relying on the Senate parliamentarian to sneak amnesty for millions of illegal aliens into their trojan horse infrastructure bill. The bill being written by self-designated socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) will include items such as expanding Medicare, amnesty, global warming initiatives, subsidized racial equity, and environmental justice initiatives.
“That’s going to be up to the parliamentarian — what’s in there. We’ll leave that to her discretion,” Sen. Jacky Rosen (D-NV) said about the amnesty provisions. “And then, based on that, we’ll decide where the appropriate place is for it.
“How far do we want to go? We want to go as far as we can, assuming the parliamentarian allows it to happen,” Sen. Bob Menendez (D-NJ) said about the Democrats’ amnesty scheme.
“It has tremendous budget effects,” Menendez argued. “It will provide revenue to the federal Treasury because of the fees and taxes people will pay. It will also have some costs.”
Grassley: More MS-13 Gang Members Sneaking into U.S. Thanks to Biden
Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) says illegal immigration totals suggest MS-13 Gang members are increasingly successfully crossing into the United States via the southern border as a result of President Joe Biden’s policies.
In a letter to the Department of Justice (DOJ), Grassley said that while illegal immigration has skyrocketed under Biden’s administration, the total number of known MS-13 Gang members apprehended trying to illegally cross into the U.S. has decreased significantly.
This, Grassley wrote, suggests more and more MS-13 Gang members are successfully crossing into the U.S. — sneaking past federal immigration officials in the process.
“Consequently, MS-13 may actually be an even bigger threat now than ever before, given CBP’s apparent failure or inability to accurately identify and apprehend MS-13 members amid the record-high numbers of people entering the US through the southern border right now,” Grassley wrote:
In the past four years, 2017-2020, Customs and Border Protection apprehended an average of 294 MS-13 gang-members a year. In those same years, 2017-2020, Customs and Border Protection found or arrested over 3 million illegal aliens, averaging about 750,000 people a year. This year however, with the increasingly open border between the US and Mexico, CBP has already encountered or arrested over 1.2 million illegal aliens, which represents a significant increase above previous years’ averages. However, even though the total number of people illegally entering the United States has increased, CBP has only apprehended 71 MS-13 trying to enter the US this year, which represents a 75% decrease from previous years’ average. The obvious logical conclusion is that MS-13 members are successfully avoiding identification and sneaking past Border Patrol into the country, as agents focus their time and attention on dealing with unaccompanied children at the border or asylum seekers. In fact, one Border Patrol chief in Texas said exactly as much, stating that MS-13 members are using the high number of migrants entering the US to blend in and sneak past agents. [Emphasis added]
Yet, even if CBP is not catching all MS-13 members trying to sneak into the country, they are still catching some of them when they are able to successfully identify them. On April 13, 2021 Border Patrol agents arrested a female MS-13 member from El Salvador who was traveling with another undocumented alien who had previously been convicted of murder in Houston. Only a few weeks later, on April 27, 2021, agents also arrested an MS-13 member who was a convicted felon with an outstanding warrant near Yuma, Arizona. Additionally, here in the capital region, local police in Gaithersburg, Maryland arrested an MS-13 member after he lured a 15-year-old girl into an apartment and tried to rape her in May of this year. Grassley asked DOJ officials to provide him with information on the Joint Task Force Vulcan (JTVF), created by the Trump administration to combat the MS-13 Gang.
“Does Joint Task Force Vulcan still exist,” Grassley wrote in questions. “If not, who made the decision to shutter JTFV? If JTFV does still exist, who is currently in charge of it? What was JTFV’s budget prior to President Biden’s inauguration? What is JTFV’s budget now (if JTFV still exists)?”
As Breitbart News recently exclusively reported, three illegal aliens were among nine MS-13 Gang members who were indicted late last month by federal prosecutors for multiple murders, kidnappings, and assaults in the Nashville, Tennessee, area.
One of the illegal aliens had been deported from the U.S. four times.

Just when you thought nobody could be creepier than disgraced former Gov. Eliot Spitzer — aka Client No. 9 — along comes Gov. Andrew Cuomo. At least Mr. Spitzer had the decency to pay a fair wage for some strange.
The only New York governor in 15 years not to wreck himself with a wandering eye was David Paterson — and it should be noted that he was legally blind.
In the Super Creep department, it was pretty impossible to out-creep Client No. 9.
Famously, Mr. Spitzer was known for refusing to remove his dress socks during his Olympic bedroom trysts — all the while also refusing to sock up other appendages. (Please forgive the graphic nature of all this, but when elected officials wallow in the sewer, we poor scribes are cursed to follow them. As we like to say: Just the facts, ma’am.)
Mr. Cuomo wasn’t even a paying client, yet he has leered, groped and verbally molested his way through 2½ terms as New York’s governor. Though his lecherous dirt-baggery has apparently been on full display for his entire time in Albany, for some reason it has only become public recently.
It seems to have all begun a little over a year ago when Mr. Cuomo was busy killing thousands of elderly New Yorkers by dumping highly infectious COVID-19 patients into nursing homes around the state. The media was so enthralled with Mr. Cuomo and his murderous rampage that they anointed themselves “Cuomosexuals” — swooning at his every press conference.
Well, that’s a problem.
It is like if your parents decided to name you “Anthony Weiner.” What else are you going to think about for the rest of your life?
If your every waking moment is the punch line of a sex joke, then obviously you have no hope but to become some kind of sex-addicted predator on the Internet. Now, I am not a qualified sexologist or a certified therapist, but I am pretty sure if you start reading about all the “Cuomosexuals” in the media drooling over you every day, you are probably going to become some kind of sex creep.
And you are going to start thinking you are far more desirous than you actually are. The next thing you know, you are pestering the staff, groping your state police security detail, and ogling the lithe Emmy Award statuette somebody gave you for being such an inspiration to all those “Cuomosexuals” out there.
“Isn’t she buxom!” Mr. Cuomo panted to staffers during one meeting — as the pandemic raged outside.
Worst of all is Mr. Cuomo’s defense: I am just an enthusiastic toucher, he claims. I am not any creepier than sniffer-in-chief Joe Biden!
The governor’s legal team unleashed a sleazy stream of lurid photographs showing Mr. Cuomo groping, nuzzling, smooching, sniffing and licking innocent citizens all over the state. Oh, and Al Gore.
In the case of Al Gore, Mr. Cuomo appears to be giving him a full baby zerbert to the side of the face. Mr. Gore seems to be smiling mildly — not the usual zerbert reaction you get from chubby babies — but then again Mr. Gore has pretty high standards when it comes to molesting women.
Mr. Cuomo’s other defense, believe it or not, is actually worse.
“I am not part of the political club,” claimed the son of former New York Gov. Mario Cuomo.
“I was not elected by the politicians,” he said. “I was elected by the people.”
In other words, this is all your fault. He is just being a man of the people, groping voters and giving you horny slobs everything that you want — even if you are too dumb to ask for it.
