MEXICO SURRENDERS TO THE LA RAZA HERION CARTELS - OR WAS IT BOUGHT OFF WITH BRIBES?

Mexico turns down a generous offer from the big orange gringo?

Mexico, which just saw its troops chased out of Sinaloa in an ignominious defeat by filthy drug cartels and now has seen the massacre of a group of American families on its soil, got a rare and generous offer from President Trump:

This is the time for Mexico, with the help of the United States, to wage WAR on the drug cartels and wipe them off the face of the earth. We merely await a call from your great new president!

69.2K people are talking about this

That's the same Trump who just decapitated the brutal ISIS leadership and who pulled U.S. troops out of Syria on the grounds that he can't stand endless wars. No U.S. troops for Syria, no U.S. intervention for Venezuela ... but Mexico is different. Mexico is special. If Mexico wants help, Mexico gets help.
And this is coming from a neighborly leader with a very fresh track record of blowing extremely powerful non-state actors straight to hell.
Trump didn't even argue or push for it, he just let the president of Mexico know that all he has to do is make a call. The VIP treatment would be his. The power was there, the good will was there, and an extended track record of success was there. The U.S., remember, also did a helluva a job helping Colombia clean up its cartel-narcoterrorist problem, too. That's in addition to the ISIS victory. An offer of help from a guy like this can only be a good thing, particularly because he doesn't like extended military involvement.
It's an offer the Kurds and Venezuelans can only dream of.
The Mexican response?
Usual garbage, President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador said he didn't want it.
According to the Daily Caller:
Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador flatly rejected President Donald Trump’s offer to “wage war” on drug cartels following the massacre of a U.S.-Mexican family along the border.
During a Tuesday press conference, López Obrador rejected Trump’s public offer to send U.S. military forces to Mexico and help his government combat organized crime. The leftist president — reiterating a position he’s long held — argued that war with the drug cartels was not the best approach.
“We have to act independently and according to our constitution, and in line with our tradition of independence and sovereignty,” López Obrador said Tuesday. “War is irrational. We are for peace. It is a characteristic of this new government.”
He was still into his "hugs not bullets" policy, despite the clear evidence of a pretty significant threat to his state and cries from Mexico's locals to take the offer. Here's one and I'm watching the Mexican press for more.
It's pretty much a sign he's in denial about the problem.
Yes, there are explainable reasons for it, very old ones:
One, the Mexican elites have always had contempt for the people and culture of northern Mexico, the carne asada belt, meaning, they could care less if that area endures attacks.
Two, Mexico has nursed its grievances for more than a hundred years over the U.S. invasion of Mexico in the 1840s, which ridded them of the curse of a clown dictator, General Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna, but left them hostile to the U.S. military. It was that grievance-nursing, taught in Mexican schools, that AMLO was appealing to.
Three, cartels aren't just bad guys out in the badlands -- they have tentacles all through the Mexican government. There's a reason Mexico sends its Navy in for big cartel sweep operations. They don't trust either law enforcement or the army. And the corruption extends well beyond the gunned professions, and well into the soft-handed political classes.
But there are also signs that this isn't going to go over all that well with Mexico's public. Even the Guardian is noticing. Lopez-Obrador is under significant pressure to scrap the hug thing and fight the killers.
The threat, after all, is pretty real. The cartels are fattened and enriched on the U.S. opiate epidemic profits and the billions they have earned in smuggling and crossing fees from the organized border surgers. That's made them ambitious and mean.
And Mexican public attitudes are changing. AMLO himself was elected on a change wave election, signaling that people are thinking differently. That AMLO has gone into denial and retreated into the comfortable old truisms, imagining that gringos on U.S. soil are a bigger threat than cartels massacring both locals and Americans (which will do wonders for Mexico's tourism industry) is insane.
His idiotic response calls to mind a 1990s story about Mexican President Miguel de la Madrid telling Singapore's founding father, the famous Lee Kuan Yew about how unfortunate Mexico was to have a U.S. border. Lee slapped sense into the dolt by telling him he'd practically kill to share just one tiny piece of the American border.
De la Madrid ended his term office unpopular and in disgrace, the public still screaming at him as he made his exit. AMLO is setting himself up for a whiff of that Mexican tradition, too.

Tulsi Gabbard: ‘We Do Not Have a Nation If We Do Not Have Borders’

Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) told Breitbart News on Thursday morning that “we do not have a nation if we don’t have borders.”

Gabbard, appearing with Breitbart News’ editor-in-chief Alex Marlow on Breitbart News Daily on Sirius XM Patriot 125, is among the ten Democratic presidential candidates who have qualified for the fifth debate Nov. 20.
She fielded a variety of question from Marlow, including questions about domestic policy, starting with immigration.
“The reality is that we do not have a nation if we don’t have borders,” she said. “It’s a false choice for people to say you’re anti-immigrant if you support secure borders. That’s just not the case.”
Gabbard is one of the only candidates who has opposed decriminalizing illegal immigration, and who has opposed providing free health care and free college tuition to illegal aliens.
She has criticized President Donald Trump’s immigration policy, but also departed from the radical stances of her rivals. She declared in the second Democratic presidential debate: “We will have to stop separating children from their parents, make it so that it’s easier for people to seek asylum in this country, make sure that we are securing our borders and making it so that people are able to use our legal immigration system by reforming those laws.”
On Thursday, she told Breitbart News that it was possible to achieve a balance: “I think that we can and we must have a secure border policy that’s effective and works, and also reform our immigration system so that it works for our country. It can be a safe and secure border along with humane immigration policy and achieve both objectives.”

Drug Flows Increasing at SW Border, DHS Official Says; Fentanyl Seizures Up 20%, Meth Up 200%

By Susan Jones |

On Tuesday, as the nation learned about the murders of nine American women and children at the hands of Mexican drug cartels, the Senate Homeland Security Committee held a hearing on threats to the homeland, including some that emanate from Mexico.
Sen. Rob Portman (R-Ohio) noted that the apprehension of illegal immigrants crossing the Southwest Border has declined somewhat from earlier highs, but the drug flow has not slowed.
"We have seen it increase," David Glawe, the chief intelligence officer and under secretary at the Department of Homeland Security told Portman.
Just to give you the numbers from 2017 to 2019, so you know what we are dealing with on the narcotic flows, we have seen a 40-percent increase in cocaine from seizures at the Southwest border.
We have seen a 20-percent increase in fentanyl. We have seen a 30-percent increase in heroin, and to your point, we have seen a 20-percent increase in methamphetamine -- and that is in addition to the emergency on the border we had with the migrant flows...
So we have a crisis at the Southwest border and it is all based on moving people and goods illicitly across the border. And that's what it is about, cartels are about moving goods and people across the Southwest border.
Glawe said the drug seizure percentages "are probably low."
"That is what we are catching," he said. "So we have seen those increases in the last two years, and the cartels are a sophisticated business about moving supplies in the United States. They are as good as any major business," Glawe said, comparing them to a Fortune 500 company in terms of profits.
He also mentioned the cartels' "relationships

with China," which is moving its fentanyl

production to Mexico. "It is very

sophisticated, very robust, and constantly

changing and dynamic," Glawe said.

Portman said Americans' demand for the illicit drugs is also "key."
"We have done a lot of work on that, we will continue to on prevention and recovery programs, treatment -- but we have got to do something to deal with the flow," Portman said.
The senator said in the streets of Columbus, Ohio, crystal meth "is less expensive than marijuana and deadly, and so we would appreciate any input you have as to how we can do a better job to reduce that supply, at a minimum."
Glawe said reducing the supply requires a "sophisticated approach that goes just beyond law enforcement. It is partnership with our U.S. intelligence community partners, our Mexican intelligence community partners, the Mexican military as well as our military, and that partnership is robust and we have a very good relationship with our Mexico partners, but it is really upping the game and a strategy to impact these groups that is going to have to go city by city, state by state."
'Awash in meth'
Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) told Glawe that his state is "absolutely overwhelmed" with meth coming across the Southwest border. "I mean, there is not a community in my state -- urban, rural, north, south, east, west --that is not just a wash in meth.
"You pointed out that between, I think it was 2017 and 2019 that the southern border apprehension is up over 200 percent for meth," Hawley told Glawe. "Did I hear you say to Senator Portman that the meth apprehensions and other drug apprehensions have continued to increase even as border apprehensions of illegal individuals has decreased. Is that--is that right?"
"That is correct," Glawe said. "And again, this is a two-year snapshot, so it was cocaine, 20 percent (increase in seizures); fentanyl, 20 percent; heroin, 30 percent; and methamphetamine, 200 percent, and that's at the border. That's at the border where we are seizing that. That's in addition to the migration challenges we've had."
Glawe said the cartels "control what goes across and what does not go across. And it is all based on money of moving people and goods."
Hawley asked Glawe what needs to change to more effectively slow the flow of drugs into the United States.
Glawe repeated his earlier response about the U.S. law enforcement partnering with Mexican agencies and the Mexican military in some of Mexico's "lawless" areas.
"But that also has to be hand in glove with our demand," Glawe said. "The U.S. is a high demand for narcotics. So it's a-- it's a joint process, and it's in that realm of having that partnership with our Mexican counterparts in that space to identify the bad and fill it with the good."

THE DEMOCRAT PARTY’S BILLIONAIRES’ GLOBALIST EMPIRE requires someone as ruthlessly dishonest as Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama to be puppet dictators.

2.     Hillary Clinton’s Democratic party: An executive nearly broke down crying because of the candidate’s loss. Not a single executive expressed anything but dismay at her defeat.

3.   Immigration: Maintaining liberal immigration in the U.S is the policy that Google’s executives discussed the most.

When Mexican Cartels Slaughter Americans
Weeks earlier, Senate declared: ‘No emergency on the border.”

Michael Cutler

Once again it appears that the violent Mexican drug cartels have committed a horrific mass murder.  Their tactics could have been taken from the playbook of ISIS or al Qaeda.  Initially news reports expressed the possibility that the killers may have mistaken those killed for members of an adversary cartel.  However, the facts don’t support it.  Children, including infants were among those shot and burned while strapped into their car seats.
The crime scene stretched for miles and more than 200 shell casings were recovered.
The November 6th CBS News report, Mexico arrests armed man with possible link to ambush on U.S. family that left 9 dead included this excerpt that points to a deliberate attack on the victims:
As CBS News correspondent Mark Strassmann reports, the Sonora prosecutor's office said the person arrested was found in a vehicle with two other people who were bound and gagged. Those unidentified individuals were rescued, and four assault-style weapons, spent magazines and high-caliber ammunition, were seized. Two vehicles were seized separately, including one said to have been armored.
Of course, while all of the facts are not yet known, what cannot be ignored is that there are terror training camps in the Tri-Border Region of Brazil linked to Hezbollah, Hamas and other Middle Eastern terrorist organizations.  It has been widely reported that human trafficking organizations and drug cartels throughout Latin America have been working in close coordination with Hezbollah, an Iran-backed terrorist organization.
I addressed several of these worrying connections in my article Jihad At The Border.
Following this most recent slaughter of innocent Americans, in Mexico, President Trump offered to provide Mexico with assistance but the President of Mexico declined the offer.
Violence in Mexico, particularly at the hands of the drug cartels is as commonplace as sunrise and sunset and has been well-documented.  Indeed, on February 21, 2018 Forbes published a report, Mexico: Where More Americans Are Murdered Than In All Other Foreign Countries Combined that included this cautionary excerpt:
Advisories released last month by the U.S. State Department tell Americans not to set foot in five Mexican states — Sinaloa, Colima, Michoacan, Guerrero and Tamaulipas — because of violent crime. Traveling to those states is as dangerous, according to the State Department's safety ratings, as traveling to Afghanistan, Syria and Iraq. And Americans with plans to go to 11 other Mexican states should “reconsider,” the agency says.
Most recent State Department data may also cause travelers to pause before booking a trip to Mexico. In 2016, according to my analysis of the data, more Americans were reported killed by homicide in Mexico than the combined total of Americans killed by homicide in every other country abroad.
Nevertheless, on October 16, 2019 I wrote an article, The Senate Voted to End Emergency on the Border, that was predicated on a September 25, 2019 Wall Street Journal news report, Senate votes to end border emergency under which Trump redirected military funds to wall construction.
I noted in my article that Hezbollah, ISIS, gangs and the drug cartels hadn’t gotten the memo but had no idea how prescient that point would become in mere days.
It is unfathomable that given all of the available facts, many of which have been provided in numerous Congressional hearings, that our political leaders could possibly conclude that there is no emergency on that dangerous border that undermines national security and public safety and that the construction of a border wall should be a major priority along with other essential measures to imbue the immigration system with meaningful integrity.
On October 17, 2019, one day after my previous article about the Senate vote to end the border emergency was published, The Guardian reported, El Chapo: Mexican police capture then release drug boss's son after battle with cartel.
I remind you that El Chapo Guzman was successfully prosecuted for massive drug smuggling crimes in the Eastern District of New York.  In my earlier commentary, New York City: Hub For The Deadly Drug Trade, I opined that NYC’s“sanctuary” policies had attracted the cartels to create a major hub for its drug operations in NYC in spite of the fact that the New York City Police Department (NYPD) is one of the largest and most sophisticated, well-equipped and well trained police departments in the United States, if not the world.
Additionally, not all aliens who are smuggled into the United States through Mexico are from Latin America.
On October 31, 2019 the Justice Department issued a press release, Human Smuggler Indicted On U.S. Charges and Arrested as Part of Brazilian Takedown of Significant Alien Smugglers that included this excerpt:
Saifullah Al-Mamun aka Saiful Al-Mamun, 32, was arrested in Brazil.  Al-Mamun is charged in a superseding indictment unsealed today in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas – Laredo Division, charging him with eight conspiracy and alien smuggling counts.  The enforcement operation included the execution of multiple search warrants and the additional arrests of seven Brazil-based human smugglers on Brazilian charges: Saifullah Al-Mamun, 32; Saiful Islam, 32; Tamoor Khalid, 31; Nazrul Islam, 41; Mohammad Ifran Chaudhary, 39; Mohammad Nizam Uddin, 28; and Md Bulbul Hossain, 36.
According to the indictment, Al-Mamun is alleged to have housed the aliens in São Paulo, Brazil and arranged for their travel through a network of smugglers operating out of Brazil, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, Guatemala, and Mexico to the United States. In return for smuggling the aliens into the United States, Al-Mumun and his two co-conspirators, are alleged to have arranged to be paid in Mexico, Central America, South America, Bangladesh, and elsewhere.
Mexico stands on the precipice of becoming a failed state.  That dysfunctional and extremely violent country shares a two thousand mile border with the United States providing the drug cartels, transnational gangs, human traffickers and others who pose a threat to America and Americans with easy access.  Nevertheless, given all of the foregoing, leaders of the radicalized Democratic Party and even their candidates for the Presidency have called for an end to immigration law enforcement and the decriminalization of immigration law violations.
Democrat mayors and governors have implemented “Sanctuary” policies that obstruct immigration law enforcement and resulted in the release of violent aliens in custody even when detainers were filed by ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) all too often with deadly consequences.
Republicans have refused to provide President Trump with the funds and backing to not only construct a secure barrier along the border but to take other steps to counter the clear and present dangers we face.
Court decisions have stymied the administration’s efforts to counter these clear and present threats.
These actions have aided and abetted the drug cartels and resulted in the massive loss of life in the United States of Americans and immigrants alike.  Clearly the leaders of the cartels have been embolden by the betrayal of America at the hands of its own “leaders.”
As I stated during one of my first Congressional hearings, we only get one opportunity to make a first impression.  Our borders and immigration laws provide that first impression for millions of people around the world.  Today our politicians are sending a clear message, violations of our borders and our laws will not only be tolerated but rewarded.
That is one hell of a dangerous message that should earn them the cartels’ MVP award!

HILLARY WILL RUN! - UNLESS SHE'S IN PRISON! - "Hillary Clinton's plan to bring 11 million illegal aliens "out of the shadows" would cost American households an immediate tax increase of $1.2 trillion, or $15,000 per household, according to a study by the National Academy of Sciences."

The Democrats’ Nomination is Hillary's to Lose

Be afraid, be very afraid.  Barring some serious event in her life, Hillary Clinton likely will be nominated for President of the United States by the Democrat party in mid-July next year.
“Ridiculous,” you say.  “Why, even Bill Maher and Doug Schoen are against her,” you continue.
That is true, but it means nothing.  As do all of the other disparaging stories in the MSM about her public appearances and the possibility of her entry into the race..
Before anyone sweeps the notion her becoming President under the rug, it is important to understand, in the first instance, that, of the current crop of contenders, only Elizabeth Warren has a chance of exiting the Democratic Convention in Miami next July 16th with the nomination in hand.
Let's take a cursory look at the field now before we go into Hillary's entrance and eventual dominance of the race for the nomination.  You may disagree with my opinions, but making the case for anybody else prevailing will be a challenging task for anyone.
One more health- or age-related incident, and Bernie is toast.  He still has an army of supporters, but the health issue will eventually take its toll, especially as Warren vigorously appears in multiple venues and rises in the polls:
...Sanders’ health poses a concern to Democrats....most seriously, given his Oct. 1 heart attack, leaned Democrats divide about evenly, 48-45%, on whether or not Sanders, 78, is in good enough overall health to serve as president. That’s a stark contrast to both Biden, age 76, seen as in good enough health by 74%, and Warren, age 70, seen as healthy by 80%....[But younger] adults, who are among Sanders’ strongest supporters, are most apt to think he’s in good enough health to serve – six in 10 18- to 39-year-olds say so. Just 40% of those age 40 and older agree.
Biden's campaign is on life-support.  In addition to the Ukraine problem, he's having trouble raising money and falling in the polls, he lies constantly, he loses track of what he's saying or where he is, he's often confused, he sometimes talks like he's still in office, and, frankly, he looks like hell!  I'll be amazed if he's still in the race when the December debate rolls around.
Pete Buttigieg is strong in the polls now and seems to have a good strategic plan, but being gay hurts him badly among black, Hispanic, and rural voters.  He will continue to put up a good fight, but he will soon top out as the caucuses and primaries unfold.
Amy Klobuchar is feisty and may well get close to Warren, but only if she can raise enough money.
Tulsi Gabbard will remain a burr under the saddles of everyone and might do very serious damage to Bernie and/or Biden at the upcoming debate on the 20th of this month, but she has no chance of coming close to Warren as time passes.
Kamala Harris' campaign is crumbling, and she will soon go the way of the skate-boarder from El Paso.
Spartacus Booker will never be taken seriously.
Andrew Yang also has a big army of donating supporters and may well stay in the race for several more months, but he will never come close to Warren in the polls.
Julián Castro will also soon run out of money, but that's OK with him because he probably knows that he's going to be Hillary's running mate.
Mr. Steyer has tons of his own money, but he'll always be “Tom Who?” to voters.
That's the sorry lot going to Atlanta on the 20th of this month.  I don't think anyone else will qualify, and I do not think that a rational argument can put the nomination in the hands of any of the current wannabes other than Warren.
Hillary's going to get in and dominate when she does because the field is so pitiful.  The aside about Bloomberg is also important because he wants to get in, and Washington wants him to get in.  I think he's waiting to see what Hillary will do.  I also think that, despite his wealth and prominence, he has doubts that he can get enough delegates to win before the Convention should it come to his getting in.
So, I think that where we stand is that Elizabeth Warren is on track to securing the nomination in early Spring.
At some point Democrats will realize that this cannot be allowed to happen.  Her ideas are just too radical.  She is a serial fabulist from her Cherokee heritage to her non-elopement to her father's occupation to her leaving of a teaching job to what next!  She scares Wall Street.  She's for open borders, free healthcare for illegal immigrants, gun confiscation buy-back, and the most leftward position on every issue.
Enter Hillary.
She's personally unpopular, unlikable, and often looks like a rag-doll..  She's a poor candidate who ran a horrible campaign in 2016 in part because she thought she had a lock and in part because she can't be bothered to run a strong campaign.  After all, she waltzed to victory in New York's Senate race and was waltzing to victory in 2008 ntil Ted Kennedy realized that Obama's running would give him, Kennedy, the congressional majority he needed to get the Healthcare plan he'd been wishing for since forever.
Dick Morris all but says Hillary believes not only that she is entitled to the Presidency but that it is for her  a divine imperative.  Her lust for the office is at best sensual, even... well, you can fill in that blank.
Once Hillary declares (maybe even before), Democrats will flock to her because the Democrats will realize that only she has a chance to defeat Trump, whom they universally despise:
Former San Francisco mayor and California State Assembly speaker Willie Brown has declared that only Hillary Clinton can defeat President Donald Trump in 2020....“Depression over the current field was swirling through my head the other day,” Brown wrote....“Think about it. Hillary is still the smartest of the bunch. She’s also better known than any of the candidates, so she doesn’t need a lot of money....[and] is the only candidate short of Barack Obama who has the brains, the battle-tested brawn and the national presence to take out Trump. And Obama can’t run....”
Gone will be calls for her to stay out of it.  Gone will be all misgivings about her suitability and all else that would militate against her again getting on the stage, and polls, as in 2016, will be overwhelmingly in her favor.  However, this time those polls might hold up through the wee hours following Election Day, the 3rd of November next:
If Hillary Clinton entered the presidential race today, she would essentially be vying to be the frontrunner.  Despite some 20 candidates competing for the nomination, a weak media-appointed leading candidate is providing an opportunity for the 2016 loser to rethink getting into the race.  A new poll from Harvard Harris finds Clinton nipping at the heels of Joe Biden in a hypothetical match up. Hillary, so far, has not declared her candidacy, though she has repeatedly teased the idea.... What this poll finds is that if Clinton were to enter the race, roughly one-half of Biden’s supporters would drop him for Hillary.
Yes, some will then argue that Michelle Obama should get in, but that's the last thing she and Barack want.  For them, they're on Easy Street now with what G. H. W. Bush called CAVU (ceiling and visibility unlimited) forever!  Here's an excellent piece on that by Liz Peek, but I must caution that there's unfortunate auto-play embedded.
Hillary may not enter the convention with a majority of delegates pledged to her, but she doesn’t have to in order to win. If no one wins a majority on the first ballot, the superdelegates, roughly 16% of the total delegates and almost a third of a majority, become eligible to vote on the nomination in the second ballot and beyond, while the delegates pledged to nominees become free to change their support. The superdelegates are party pros and office holders, and the vast majority, who built their careers over the same period that Hillary and Bill Clinton did,  can be expected to support Hillary.  The momentum that they add to Hillary, along with the poor prospects of the hard left candidates, will be enough to hand her the top of the ticket. Again.

with China," which is moving its fentanyl

production to Mexico. "It is very

sophisticated, very robust, and constantly

changing and dynamic," Glawe said.

1.     Globalism: Google VP Kent Walker insists that despite its repeated rejection by electorates around the world, “globalization” is an “incredible force for good.”

HILLARY CLINTON’S GLOBALIST VISION:

SURRENDER OF OUR BORDERS WITH NARCOMEX AND SUCKING IN

GLOBAL BRIBES FOR THE PHONY CLINTON FOUNDATION

Even though it has gone virtually unreported by Corporate media, Breitbart News has extensively documented the Clintons’
longstanding support for “open borders.” Interestingly, as the Los Angeles Times observed in 2007, the Clinton’s praise for
globalization and open borders frequently comes when they are
speaking before a wealthy foreign audiences and donors.

“I believe that if Hillary had been elected she would have found a way to give amnesty and eventually citizenship to all the millions of Hispanics who are now here illegally and would have, in theory, have opened the border so that more and more could cross and be eligible to vote, until an undefeatable voting block would have been created, putting a more and more progressive electorate into power.” CHARLIE DANIELS
