Survey: Nearly 38 Percent of U.S. Renters Do Not Believe They Will Ever Be Homeowners - JOE BIDEN'S 15 MILLION INVADING ILLEGALS WILL FIX THOSE NUMBERS

President Joe Biden’s mass migration is raising inflation, chiefly by raising housing prices, according to the Economist, a U.K.-based pro-globalism magazine for elites.

Glenn Kessler, the so-called “fact checker” for the Washington Post, claimed that Joe Biden cannot be held responsible for what his deputies are spending on migrants as he worked to refute Donald Trump’s slam on rent assistance programs.

With his April 29 “fact check,” Kessler claimed former President Donald Trump’s campaign said Democrats — including Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer — are doling out $500 a month for rental assistance to illegal migrants in Michigan.

RELATED VIDEO — Gov. Whitmer Leaves Door Open for Future Presidential Run:

Trump and a Trump PAC named MAGA Inc have been alerting supporters to the Michigan rent assistance program, called the “Newcomer Rental Subsidy,” and have noted that some of the millions of dollars Whitmer is pushing into the program is coming from the federal government. And with that being the case, Trump and MAGA Inc are pinning the spending on Joe Biden.

But Kessler insisted that Biden can’t be blamed because he may not even be “aware” of the spending.

“This is a state program that has received federal grant money, but there is no indication that Biden is even aware of it,” Kessler claimed in his fact check. “So it’s absurd to run ads that claim Biden is paying rent for immigrants who are in the country illegally.

Kessler also added that “very few people with asylum claims have received rental assistance — and the state says they are in the country legally.”

Still, Kessler admitted that the Democrats are using federal and state taxes to pay rent for migrants, even as Americans are struggling to pay their own rent. He wrote:

According to Michigan officials, about 50 percent of 485 applications have been approved, affecting 1,242 household members. The numbers break down like this:

  • 537 refugees.
  • 504 Afghans who arrived under Operation Allies Welcome.
  • 69 with special immigrant visas (individuals from Iraq or Afghanistan who worked for the U.S. government).
  • 61 U.S. citizens (children born to immigrant families after arriving in the United States).
  • 35 Ukrainians granted humanitarian parole.
  • 24 asylees (asylum approved and legally in the country).
  • 7 Haitian entrants.
  • 5 with lawful permanent residence.
  • But back in Michigan, MLive.com described how Americans are suffering amid the rent hikes that have been fueled by Biden’s disastrous economic policies.

The news outlet reported that a resident named Gavin Brown was paying $875 a month to rent a one-bedroom apartment in Grand Rapids, but his situation soon got worse.

“The new owners wanted to bump Brown’s rent up to at least $1,300 — nearly a 50% increase he couldn’t afford. Instead, they gave Brown a six-month grace period of $1,050 until he can find a new place,” MLive reported.

“I’m not going to be able to afford to live in this town much longer if I don’t find a better paying job,” Brown said.

The article was headlined “Michigan’s double-digit rent increase ranks third highest in the nation.”

This is the same state where migrants are now getting free money to help with rent.

Kessler’s rebuttal to Trump’s political points against Whitmer and Biden ignores the contested legality of Biden’s programs, which led to the House impeachment of his border secretary, Alejandro Mayorkas.

For example, Biden’s deputies have included the award of “parole” to more than a million migrants from many countries, including Ukraine, Afghanistan, and several South American countries.

Consequently, a coalition of Republican-led states are suing the Biden administration for the parole policies that have been used to admit so many migrants.

If the courts agree with the Republican politicians, or if the Supreme Court revisits its hands-off decision in the U.S. v. Texas case, then Kessler will have to rewrite his column long after Americans in Michigan have paid their Biden-inflated rents and hundreds of migrants got discounts on theirs.

Kessler’s columns focused on these statements from Trump and his campaign team:

In Michigan, radical, left Democrat governor Gretchen Whitmer is handing out $500 a month in cash to anyone who accepts illegal aliens into your homes. Isn’t that nice? She’s calling the scam the Newcomer Rental Subsidy. In other words, she’s calling illegal immigrants — many coming from jails, many coming from mental institutions, many are terrorists — she’s calling them newcomers, isn’t that wonderful? And it’s all funded by federal taxpayer dollars distributed by crooked Joe Biden … Biden and Whitmer are selecting and stealing your money to give free housing to illegal alien migrants and then asking you to quarter these foreign armies. And that’s what they are, they’re armies.

— Former president Donald Trump, in a social media video, April 11

“Biden’s helping pay rent for newcomers to America from around the world. You mean illegal immigrants?”
— Voice-over in MAGA Inc. ad titled “Phone Bank,” April 26

“Did you see Biden’s paying rent for illegals now? They get handouts and we pay for all of it.”
— radio ad via MAGA Inc., “Lecture,” April 26

Kessler rated all this as “not true” because he sees no proof that Biden “knows” about the spending.

Apparently, Kessler does not think the buck stops at the president’s desk when it is Joe Biden sitting there despite that it has always been accepted that whatever goes on during an administration is, in the end, attributable to the man in charge.

Still, the existence of the program at all does lend credence to Trump’s main point that the federal government — whether Biden “knows” about it or not — is paying out millions in our tax dollars to import and support immigrants while millions of Americans struggle to pay their rent and support themselves even as they pay taxes to give immigrants a leg up past them.

Survey: Nearly 38 Percent of U.S. Renters Do Not Believe They Will Ever Be Homeowners

Almost 38 percent of renters in the United States do not believe they will ever be able to call themselves homeowners, per a recent survey.

Redfin reported on April 12 that the findings were according to its survey of about 3,000 U.S. residents that Qualtrics conducted in February.

The information comes as researchers said in January that, in 2022, a record half of people across America who are renters used a large portion of their income to pay rent and utility bills, according to Breitbart News.

“While the cost of housing remains a burden, people are also having difficulties putting food on the table in Biden’s economy,” the outlet said.

The recent Redfin article continued:

The relevant questions were: “Do you believe that you will ever own your own home in the future?” and “Which of the following are reasons you aren’t likely to purchase a home in the near future?” The 27% comparison is from a Redfin survey conducted in May and June 2023.

Lack of affordability is the prevailing reason renters believe they’re unlikely to become homeowners. Nearly half (44%) of renters who don’t believe they’ll buy a home in the near future said it’s because available homes are too expensive. The next most common obstacles: Ability to save for a down payment (35%), ability to afford mortgage payments (33%) and high mortgage rates (32%). Roughly one in eight (14%) simply aren’t interested in owning a home.

Inflation under President Joe Biden’s leadership has caused the price of rent, electricity, and even garbage collection to rise almost six percent, Breitbart News reported on April 10.

The outlet also said, “Water and sewer maintenance services: Up 5.1 percent since March 2023 / Up 0.5 percent since February 2024, ” adding, “Repair of household items: Up 18.0 percent since March 2023 / No data reported on February 2024.”

During a conversation on CNN This Morning in August, co-host Phil Mattingly and CNN International host Julia Chatterley discussed surging mortgage rates.

“If the big American Dream is to own your home, perhaps leave that money to your kids one day, that’s getting further and further away,” Chatterly said, at one point, “and it doesn’t really change until the Federal Reserve starts to bring rates down, these things ease, people start to sell their homes, and that’s going to take some time.”

Globalist Magazine Admits Joe Biden’s Migration Spikes Inflation

President Joe Biden’s mass migration is raising inflation, chiefly by raising housing prices, according to the Economist, a U.K.-based pro-globalism magazine for elites.

Citizens’ rents, per-capita wages, and workplace productivity are being damaged in the United States, Australia, the United Kingdom, Canada, and other wealthy countries where governments are extracting migrants from developing countries, says the April 30 article, headlined “Immigration is surging, with big economic consequences.”

“Immigration’s impact goes well beyond an arithmetic effect on GDP [Gross Domestic Product] — it extends to inflation, living standards and government budgets,” the April 30 article admits as it debunks the elite narratives:

Many policymakers have recently argued that migration is helping contain price rises by relieving labour shortages … Yet the evidence is weak and may, in fact, point in the opposite direction. Across the G10 [group of wealthy countries] … there is no doubt immigrants need things as soon as they arrive, boosting demand [for used autos, food, etc.].

Nowhere is this clearer than in the case of rental housing, which is in short supply across the anglosphere. Research by Goldman Sachs, a bank, suggests that in Australia each 100,000 increase in annual net overseas migration boosts rents by about 1%. A paper by the Bank of Canada in December noted that “the initial rise in immigration that Canada has experienced is more likely inflationary in the near term.”

The magazine’s admission is useful, in part, because few media outlets in the United States have dared describe the damage done to the economy and to Americans’ pocketbooks by Biden’s decision to welcome roughly 10 million illegal, quasi-legal, and legal immigrants since 2021.

That connection is also ignored in the GOP’s migration-related campaign pitches which highlight border chaos, illegal migrants, crime — and increasingly — the taxpayer burden of providing free healthcare and schooling for legal and quasi-legal migrants.

So far, the GOP’s donor-funded attack ads have ignored the links between Biden’s migration, inflation, and housing prices — despite swing voters’ anger at inflation, interest rates, and housing prices. For example, an April 28-30 poll by YouGov showed that “inflation/prices” is the most important issue for 23 percent of independents.

But the connection between consumer demand, immigration, and inflation is sneaking through the gatekeepers in the establishment media. For example, Bloomberg noted on April 4, “FHN Financial’s Chris Low points out that while a bigger labor force puts downward pressure on wages, ‘it also puts upward pressure on prices.’ After all, ‘more people are eating, driving and living here.’”

Meanwhile, Biden’s deputies are trying to downplay the inflation spurred by his decision to import 10 million illegal, quasi-legal, and legal consumers, renters, and workers into the U.S. economy since 2021.
Yet the administration’s own reports also admit that housing prices are responsible for roughly half of the nation’s inflation that helped push up interest rates:

Housing’s contribution to inflation has significantly increased. Housing now accounts for a third of the consumer basket of items measured in CPI, so even small increases can have an outsized impact on inflation.[1] Last June, housing accounted for a fifth of inflation, contributing 1.7 percentage points. By March 2023, housing’s contribution rose to 2.6 percentage points, making up half of annual CPI inflation. For perspective, before the pandemic housing would typically contribute about 1 percentage point to inflation.

The rising inflation caused by migration has prompted the Federal Reserve to bump up interest rates, which then drives up the cost of the loans needed to construct or buy housing.

WTOP reported April 11 on the dilemma facing Anton and Shelby Rogozhnikov in Texas.

The couple owns a townhome in Dallas and want more space now that they’re planning on having their first child. They’re looking for a house with at least three bedrooms that’s priced within their budget of around $300,000.

“I know interest rates will go down eventually, but I feel like when they go down housing prices might go back up again,” said Shelby Rogozhnikov, 38. a dental hygienist. “I have the mortgage rate thing to worry about and my biological clock, which has less time on it than the mortgage rates, so it’s now or never.”
Also, the Economist article noted that Biden’s migration tends to push down the average or per capita wages, and productivity that could offset the damage caused by Biden’s inflation and interest rates:
Although new arrivals are clearly boosting GDP [Gross Domestic Product, or the size of national economies], they appear to be dragging down GDP per person — the yardstick by which economists usually assess living standards. GDP per person has fallen or failed to grow for four consecutive quarters in Australia and seven in Britain. In Canada, where the drop in the measure is most pronounced, output per person fell by 2% in 2023. The picture is similar in Germany, Iceland and New Zealand.
Cheap-labor migration also reduces pressure on employers to equip their American workers with labor-saving machinery, the Economist noted when it referred to a study by Ethan Lewis, an economist at Dartmouth University. Lewis wrote:

Some metropolitan areas experienced faster growth in the relative supply of less-skilled labor in the 1980s and 1990s due to an immigration wave and the tendency of immigrants to regionally cluster. [Factory] Plants in these areas adopted significantly less machinery per unit output, despite having similar adoption plans initially.

Extraction Migration

Since at least 1990, the federal government has relied on Extraction Migration to grow the consumer economy after it helped investors move the high-wage manufacturing sector to lower-wage countries.

The migration policy extracts vast amounts of human resources from needy countries. The additional workers, consumers, and renters push up stock values by shrinking Americans’ wages, subsidizing low-productivity companies, boosting rents, and spiking real estate prices.

The economic policy has pushed many native-born Americans out of careers in a wide variety of business sectors, reduced Americans’ productivity and political clout, slowed high-tech innovation, shrunk trade, crippled civic solidarity, and incentivized government officials and progressives to ignore the rising death rate of discardedlow-status Americans.

The policy also sucks jobs and wealth from heartland states by subsidizing coastal investors and government agencies with a flood of low-wage workers, high-occupancy renters, and government-aided consumers. Similar policies have damaged citizens and economies in Canada and the United Kingdom.

The colonialism-like policy has damaged small nations and has killed hundreds of Americans and thousands of migrants, including many on the taxpayer-funded jungle trail through the Darien Gap in Panama.

Here is the problem in a nutshell.  Most Democrat voters don't realize that leftist idealogues have hijacked the Democrat party, actively pushing traditional Democrat politicians out.  They don't yet understand that the Democrat party they knew doesn't exist anymore.  Almost all of the major news organizations work together to lie to Democrat voters and feed them misinformation constantly.  Corrupted government entities like the FBI and the DOJ, and the leftists running all social media, have worked together to censor and silence any dissenting voices.  The goal is to create a false reality in the eyes of Democrat voters and shield them from the truth.  This is vital to ensure their continued support on Election Day.                                                      IAN MacCONNELL

Established by the White House in 1987, the Hispanic Heritage Foundation (HHF) is an award-winning nonprofit that identifies, inspires, prepares and positions Latino leaders in the classroom, community and workforce to meet America's priorities.

Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas was grilled by Rep. Dan Bishop (R-NC) during a hearing over an alleged flyer that the Heritage Foundation’s Oversight Project claims asks migrants to vote for President Joe Biden in November.

It's the Economy... Again

By this November 5, a high electoral price from the Democrats may be called in due to a fractured American economy. In the runup, there are several negative economic indicators flashing red -- factors soon to converge in force, each one predicated on Biden’s incompetence. His economic climate tells against the erstwhile middle class, or the legally voting ‘majority,’ and its prosperity.

The collective, negative impact of Biden’s combined and often unilateral federal actions, the upshots of bad policies and mismanagement, suggests that we will soon have a new, expanded class of ‘the poor’ in the United States -- an historical phenomenon that has eventually manifested itself in every country subsequent to communist/socialist takeover.

Biden’s policies and directives are coalescing and advancing in a hushed, cumulative economic effect very quickly. Many may soon find themselves squarely placed in a traditionally avoided no-man’s land, as the newly poor, separate from the middle class, or the working poor, or the subsidized/welfare poor.

Many do not perceive misfortune as exactly closing in. Why not? Because the suffering is in development, because we were stunned by the COVID years into thinking the bad stuff was just temporary, and because, in waiting for the 2024 election, we are not clocking on current daily survival threats as we might otherwise. And because the federal bureaucracy and its media enablers are flat-out lying about the economy and have been since 2020. Humpty-dumpty is still, sort of, sitting on the wall, but he is slipping, and soon he may fall.

When the Great Depression hit, we had joblessness on a scale never seen before in the U.S. Were it not for the federal ‘cover’ of FDR’s fixes, which now have graduated to over several trillion dollars expended annually on a slew of federal subsidies, entitlements, social welfare, and government salaries and benefits, we would already have much more visible poverty in the U.S. Notwithstanding, the new poverty is advancing, very comprehensively and rapidly, since Biden’s presidential victory in 2020. His ‘administration’ has worked diligently to unravel our prosperous majority from day one.

To get a handle on the gravity of what may be coming in the next six months, look at what Biden is doing to grab economic control across the board: energy prices are driven up because of his tinkering with energy supplies and restrictive energy policies. Unemployment figures are rigged downwards to reflect part-time and/or seasonal/immigrant jobs as full time. Interest rate increases are ‘explained’ by the feds as cautionary but appear now semi-permanent. Huge costs are accruing in ‘supporting’ illegal immigrants, in student loan forgiveness, in piles of new regulatory costs (legal or not), in tax increases on the middle class, in federal land and natural resource grabs, and in crippling regulatory restrictions on farming, energy, transportation, and, of course, in the costs of war.

Additionally, Biden’s federal underwriting of business/corporate production costs related to his ubiquitous and dubious ‘climate change’ fixes are economic disincentives -- as well as a disgrace for independent enterprise.

In a further cost complication, Biden’s serial infrastructure and equipment (see EVs, solar grids) fails are themselves coming at great expense to consumers. Supply-chain restrictions consequent to infrastructure fails drive up consumer costs. Serial emergencies in our infrastructure’s ‘accidents’ and incompetencies are driving the bills way up -- Baltimore city reported in March that the Francis Scott Key bridge collapse could run up to, for the city alone, a whopping $9 M per day.

As this bigger costs picture emerges more clearly in the coming months, the implications of the shocking damage to American productivity and standing in energy, agriculture and transportation will not be lost on the ‘average voter.’

Even now, the economic facts are available to those who are willing to dig for them:

Both rental and mortgage costs are now unaffordable. People are not grocery shopping as their needs dictate, because the prices of all food products are inflated by 40%. Rent prices are now 30% higher than they were before the pandemic.

Those Americans with, say, four-five year set mortgage interest rates (now already unaffordable due to related housing costs such as rising insurance) at pre-pandemic levels, may be losing their original rates by 4-7 percentage point increases, at least, in 2024 and 2025.

The huge growth of the homeless population -- while affected of course drastically by illegal immigration -- is yet another indicator of economic collapse. “Rising rents and low housing inventory spur an unprecedented level of homelessness in America”

Older adults are being increasingly driven into poverty.

According to the latest data from the U.S. Census Bureau, 14.1% of adults aged 65 and older lived in poverty, as defined by the Supplemental Poverty Measure, compared with 9.5% in 2020. That's about a 50% jump in just three years, meaning roughly 8 million older adults now live in poverty.

Biden continues to lie about the economic circumstances of our country, and we have no reason to believe he will change:

President Joe Biden defended his handling of the economy hours after a key economic report found that progress on slowing inflation has stalled, a continued bane on Biden’s presidency.

US consumer prices picked up again last month, marking a 3.5% increase for the 12 months ended in March, according to the latest Consumer Price Index data released Wednesday by the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Inflation has dogged the president and his approval ratings on the economy have suffered as prices have soared following the easing of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Biden pointed to success “dramatically” reducing the rate of inflation from 9% to 3% as he sought to convince Americans that “we’re better situated than we were when we took office, where inflation was skyrocketing.”

Inflation, however, began to rise in 2021 -- Biden’s first year as president -- as normalcy began to return to American life following the worst parts of the pandemic. It peaked in June 2022 as the rate of inflation reached 9.1%” (emphasis added)

Ruling-class Democrats talk the talk about sharing the wealth, but their own elitism and flagrant double standards, e.g. in extravagant life styles and stock-market shenanigans, tell a different tale. The elite’s lion’s share of our national wealth has gone from grown even more bloated under Biden:

“In the third quarter of 2023, 66.9 percent of the total wealth in the United States was owned by the top 10 percent of earners. In comparison, the lowest 50 percent of earners only owned 2.5 percent of the total wealth.”

Americans may take note of these disparities.

At the least, we can probably expect that, by November, American voters will be ready enough to weigh in -- if only on the strength of their wallets.

CBS Poll: Half of Swing State Voters Say Economy Got Worse Under Biden

About half of voters in swing states Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Michigan believe the economy got worse under President Joe Biden’s management, a CBS News poll found Sunday.

With the economy ranked as the top 2024 issue, Biden’s poor marks in the three key swing states are terrible news for the president’s reelection hopes.

Seven states, (Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Arizona, Georgia, Nevada, and North Carolina) will decide the president, longtime Democrat adviser Doug Sosnik wrote in the New York Times. If Trump wins one or more of Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin, Biden’s chances of obtaining 270 electoral votes become narrower, he said.

Recent polling shows former President Donald Trump leads in Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.

Below is the share of voters who say the economy became worse under Biden, CBS News reported:

  • Wisconsin: 48 percent
  • Pennsylvania: 50 percent
  • Michigan: 50 percent

With inflation looming large in their minds, most voters don’t say there’s even been improvement in their state’s economy post-pandemic: only a quarter say it has improved in the years since, with about half saying it has actually gotten worse.

And few say their own finances are better compared to before the pandemic. This may be an essential part of their memory — comparing to before the coronavirus.

Voters in the three swing states looked back on Trump’s economy more fondly than Biden’s, the poll found.

Wisconsin

  • Biden’s rating: 42 percent
  • Looking back at Trump’s: 62 percent

Pennsylvania

  • Biden’s rating: 38 percent
  • Looking back at Trump’s: 61 percent

Michigan

  • Biden’s rating: 38 percent
  • Looking back at Trump’s: 62 percent

The poll sampled 1,245 registered voters in Wisconsin, 1,306 registered voters in Pennsylvania, and 1,287 registered voters in Michigan from April 19-25 with a 3.2 margin of error.

Feds: 1.6 Million Foreign Nationals Awaiting Entry to U.S. through Biden’s Parole Pipeline

A significant number of foreign nationals are awaiting authorization to fly to the United States as part of President Joe Biden’s parole pipeline, federal documents reveal.

The documents, released by House Homeland Security Committee Chairman Mark Green (R-TN) on Tuesday, detail specifics regarding the administration’s CHNV program, which has allowed more than 400,000 nationals of Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela to fly to the U.S., at their own expense, from January 2023 through March 2024.

Notably, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) told the committee that as of mid-October 2023, “approximately 1.6 million” foreign nationals had applied to secure travel authorization to the U.S. under the CHNV program.

For context, the number of foreign nationals seeking entry to the U.S. through the CHNV program as of last fall is larger than the populations of 11 states including Delaware, Rhode Island, Montana, and the Dakotas.

“There is currently a monthly limit of 30,000 [Advance Travel Authorizations] that may be issued [to foreign nationals] under CHNV processes,” DHS officials noted in their response to the committee.

Also in their response, DHS officials admitted that even as the administration has opened the parole pipeline for foreign nationals to travel to the U.S., they are still inadmissible under federal law, meaning they have no legal basis to be in the U.S.

“All individuals paroled into the United States are, by definition, inadmissible, including those paroled under the CHNV processes,” the DHS officials write.

Over 50 airports in the U.S. and neighboring countries are being used by foreign nationals approved for U.S.-bound travel through the CHNV program, the documents show.

From January 2023 through August 2023, the top American cities where CHNV applicants landed are:

  • Miami, Florida
  • Fort Lauderdale, Florida
  • New York City, New York
  • Houston, Texas
  • Orlando, Florida
  • Los Angeles, California
  • Tampa, Florida
  • Dallas, Texas
  • San Fransisco, California
  • Atlanta, Georgia
  • Newark, New Jersey
  • Washington, D.C.
  • Chicago, Illinois
  • Las Vegas, Nevada
  • Austin, Texas

Though prior reports showed which airports are the most likely to be used for the CHNV program, these documents show the scope of the airports involved with facilitating the program.

Green said the documents “expose the egregious lengths [DHS] Secretary [Alejandro] Mayorkas will go to ensure inadmissible aliens reach every corner of the country, from Orlando and Atlanta to Las Vegas and San Francisco.”

“Secretary Mayorkas’ CHNV parole program is an unlawful sleight of hand used to hide the worsening border crisis from the American people,” Green continued. “Implementing a program that allows otherwise inadmissible aliens to fly directly into the U.S. … has been proven an impeachable offense.”

Tax Day: Illegal Immigration Costs American Taxpayers over $150 Billion

As Tax Day passes on Monday, the cost of illegal immigration to American taxpayers has hit an unprecedented level on President Joe Biden’s watch.

The latest estimates, published by the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) last March, show that millions of illegal aliens residing across the United States cost taxpayers more than $150 billion annually.

The FAIR report stated:

At the federal, state, and local levels, taxpayers shell out approximately $182 billion to cover the costs incurred from the presence of more than 15.5 million illegal aliens, and about 5.4 million citizen children of illegal aliens. That amounts to a cost burden of approximately $8,776 per illegal alien/citizen child. The burden of illegal immigration on U.S. taxpayers is both staggering and crippling, with the gross cost per taxpayer at $1,156 every year. [Emphasis added]

Illegal aliens only contribute roughly $32 billion in taxes at the state, local, and federal levels. This means that the net fiscal cost of illegal immigration to taxpayers totals approximately $150.7 billion. [Emphasis added]

In state and federal welfare costs, alone, illegal aliens cost taxpayers nearly $14 billion every year. Meanwhile, annual state and federal medical costs for illegal aliens total a whopping $42 billion.

Despite the cost burn of illegal immigration on taxpayers, special interest groups are currently lobbying Washington, DC, lawmakers to expand the Additional Child Tax Credit (ACTC) with a loophole for illegal aliens to secure the tax credit.

“Currently, the law does not require either the parents or dependent children to be citizens or otherwise have lawful status (such as legal permanent residence) in order to claim the ACTC,” FAIR reported:

It only requires that the dependent children have social security numbers. That means illegal alien parents can file tax returns using an Individual Taxpayer Identification Number and claim the credit for qualifying children. [Emphasis added]

Researchers with the Center for Immigration Studies said that under Biden, the nation’s illegal alien population has grown by nearly four million from late January 2021 through February of this year — making up about half of the nation’s foreign-born population growth.

Today, the foreign-born population has reached an unprecedented 51.4 million. For comparison, the foreign-born population in the U.S. just 34 years ago stood at fewer than 20 million.

Immigration Turns California Population Loss Around

California reported seeing the largest increase in its population since 2020 due to immigration, after years of experiencing a decline.

The state’s Department of Finance (DOF) released a report showing that as of January 1, 2024, California’s population was at 39,128, 162 people, adding that this was a “positive population growth.”

This represented a 0.17 percent increase of roughly 67,000 additional people to the state.

“For the first time since 2020, California has once again experienced positive population growth in 2023; driven by decreased mortality and a rebound in legal foreign immigration,” the California DOF said in a statement.

Officials from the California DOF attributed the growth to legal immigration, a reduction in COVID-19 deaths, and natural increases in population growth.

“With immigration processing backlogs largely eliminated and deaths returning to long-term trends, a stable foundation for continued growth has returned,” the state DOF said. “As net domestic migration has receded to its lower rates of the 2010s, California is likely to experience slower but positive growth for the near future.”

The report also found that the state’s population increased in 31 counties, including the “Bay Area, Central Valley, and the Inland Empire,” according to a press release from Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA).

Los Angeles County grew in population size by 0.05 percent, while Orange County grew by 0.31 percent, according to the press release.

“People from across the nation and the globe are coming to the Golden State to pursue the California Dream and experience the success of the world’s 5th largest economy,” Newsom said. “From the Inland Empire to the Bay Area, regions throughout California are growing – strengthening local communities and boosting our state’s future.”

During the COVID-19 pandemic, California lost around 500,000 people, roughly half the state’s population.

A Redfin report from February 2023, found that in January, more people looked to get out of San Francisco and Los Angeles than any other metro area in the United States.

The report from the California DOF comes as an unofficial report from Border Patrol officials viewed by Breitbart News showed that Border Patrol agents had encountered roughly 25,000 migrants during the first 21 days of April at the San Diego Sector.

Illegal immigrants living in California became eligible to receive taxpayer-funded health insurance at the beginning of this year.

This came as the state was still grappling with population loss. In December 2023, data from the U.S. Census Bureau showed that California’s population had dropped by 75,000 between 2022 and 2023.

There were an estimated 38,965,000 million people in the state, still far below its peak in 2019 0f 39.5 million people.

THE BIDEN - MAYORKAS - SCHUMER FOREIGN OCCUPATION

Researchers with the Center for Immigration Studies said that under Biden, the nation’s illegal alien population has grown by nearly four million from late January 2021 through February of this year — making up about half of the nation’s foreign-born population growth.

Today, the foreign-born population has reached an unprecedented 51.4 million. For comparison, the foreign-born population in the U.S. just 34 years ago stood at fewer than 20 million.

It's not just illegals who are coming. It's what they are bringing with them as they come that stands to turn San Diego and every other blue city into cities with Tijuana-like violence driven by the quest for drug and illegals profits.

San Diego to Receive Additional $39 Million for Illegal Immigrants

Migrant activists in San Diego, California, are celebrating the additional $39 million in federal funding for illegal border crossers, but others feel the money is being misspent.

Almost $20 million of the funding is from the Department of Homeland Security. It is targeted to support migrants as they wait for the outcome of their immigration proceedings court cases after federal officials dropped them off in the county, KGTV reported on April 12.

Rep. Juan Vargas (D-CA) celebrated the funding, saying, “This funding will help make sure they have the resources they need to continue their important work to provide migrant communities with food, shelter, and other critical services.”

County Board of Supervisors Chairwoman Nora Vargas also highlighted the funding and insisted that the cash would be used to create a more sustainable migrant transition center.

The city’s last migrant welcome center closed down on February 22 when it ran out of money, leaving all newcomers to be disgorged from Border Patrol buses onto the streets, left to their own devices.

But the buses operated by Biden’s Border Patrol kept coming.

Just since December, Border Patrol has dropped 42,000 illegals in San Diego County, overwhelming the city and local non-governmental organizations.

Not every county official was excited that Biden opened up the funding spigot.

District Five Supervisor Jim Desmond blasted the plans, saying the money was being misspent.

“I’d rather see that money have gone towards securing the border and making sure the border patrol stops people or we only allow enough people in that we can manage,” Desmond insisted.

Desmond has been speaking out for months.

In September, for instance, he said the American immigration system “has failed” as Biden’s border crisis continues.

“We’re not the immigration department. We don’t have these types of resources available,” he said of San Diego’s part in the crisis. “The best cure would be, when we’re at capacity, stop letting people in for a while. We need a better system. Our immigration system has failed. It is broken. This is not the way to run an immigration system.”

In February, Desmond blasted the Biden administration for the continued crisis.

“The federal government must manage the mess they’ve created,” Desmond said. “We need the border to be secure and the laws to be upheld, including asylum cases to be heard on a case-by-case basis, not just mass released. But, in the meantime, if the federal government allows this to take place, they must fund the chaos they’ve created.”

The San Diego Sector reported the second-largest number of migrant apprehensions in March. With just over 33,000 apprehensions, the number is up from approximately 31,560 apprehensions in February. The February apprehensions were up by more than 85 percent from one year earlier.

Mexican cartel violence is now spilling into San Diego -report

By Monica Showalter

Plenty of people think Joe Biden's open borders is mainly about millions of illegals rolling into the U.S., while the billions rolling into Mexico's notorious crime cartels as a result is Mexico's problem, not ours.

But that's not quite what's going on.

Mexico's cartels have grown so big and so powerful from migrant and drug smuggling that they not only threaten Mexico, they are now taking their internecine warfare on the road into the U.S., which now faces a Tijuana-like future. If you recall the sight of all those Tijuana cars burning as that city shut down from cartel warfare, obviously it can happen here, too.

In a little-noted San Diego Union-Tribune frontpager from Sunday, headlined "Tijuana drug violence bleeds into San Diego County with recent cartel shootings":

Three shootings that left two people dead and three wounded over the past couple of months in San Diego County were linked to Mexican drug cartels and involved a drug cell embroiled in a vicious dispute with its rivals in Baja California, according to sources with knowledge of cartel activity and the ongoing investigations.

One of the shootings wounded James Bryant Corona, an alleged drug cell leader with dual U.S.-Mexican citizenship, according to sources on both sides of the border with knowledge of the investigation. Baja California Deputy Attorney General Rafael Orozco Vargas described Corona as “one of the main generators of violence” in Tijuana and greater Baja California.

Another attack killed 35-year-old Christian Espinoza Silver, a reputed member of the same drug cell, after a gunman opened fire on him inside a BMW near the parking garage of a pricey high-rise apartment complex in University City.

University City is the wealthy area just east of ultra-wealthy La Jolla, and nowhere near the border badlands where such activity wouldn't be that surprising. These kinds of rubouts have been unheard of up until now, although there was a good report from investigative reporter Ioan Grillo at Crashout Media about cartel kidnapping and 'stewmaker' activity going on in Chula Vista just south of San Diego and closer to the Mexican border in the past couple years, writing at the time.

After strangling the two victims, the gangsters threw their bodies head-first into barrels of acid, using the techniques of an infamous Tijuana killer known as “El Pozolero” or “The Stewmaker.” They buried the remaining bones and flesh in arid ground under a horse ranch. The macabre burial site was not in Mexico however but north of the border in San Ysidro on the outskirts of San Diego.

I commented on that last month here.

The U-T report is long and interesting, but subscriber-only. (The U-T can be very left-biased, but does good work on Navy and some border issues and has some good subscription deals and trials that might be worth looking at.)

The story explains why the matter is important:

While Tijuana and Baja California have for decades been plagued by such violence related to organized crime, rarely in recent years has it bled over so publicly and brazenly into San Diego County, sparking concern among some U.S. authorities and those familiar with Mexican drug trafficking organizations.

To summarize, the cartel thugs who've terrorized Mexico are now openly operating here in San Diego, too, and that includes their gun battles and rubouts. Cartels have been known to recruit their worst triggermen from the San Diego side of the border. Some have dual citizenship or serve as anchor babies for their illegally present parents, which makes catching them harder. Worse still, the Mexican cops may be looking for them as the ringleaders for various murders, but as cartel kingpins, they aren't wanted for any trigger-pulling murders over here, so they skate easily.

Obviously, there are some legal things that need to be ironed out, based on that report, but anyone asking for it is probably going to be as lucky as the residents of Imperial Beach have been in trying to get the Biden administration to halt Tijuana sewage from fouling their U.S. beach. The Biden swamp doesn't pay much attention to what is going on so far away over here, we are just another Lahaina.

One official quoted, a former lawman named Steve Duncan, said that only the integrity of the U.S. courts kept this region from becoming a third-world hellhole.

“The only thing that’s keeping (the violence) from getting out of control here is we have integrity in our system,” Duncan said, adding that it’s important that investigators share information and solve the shootings. “It has to be investigated and prosecuted ... We have to set an example.”

Which is good food for thought. Anyone want to say the judicial system is as pristine as it used to be back when it was a two-party city?

Justice in fact is collapsing here, as it is in all blue cities, meaning, the cartels are going to feel increasingly comfortable operating here and taking their violence here, too as the quest for dominance over profits from the illegal drug trade and the illegal alien trade continue to drive cartel warfare.

Which means the cartel violence will get bolder and more brazen and more over here than ever. There could be headless bodies hanging from bridges and narco banners hung from overpasses as somehow nothing gets done about it, and there could be burning cars and gunfire raging through the city with very little done about it as this city gets bluer.

And there is no doubt that these kinds of crimes are happening that hadn't happened before:

According to the Union-Tribune:

Erubiel Tirado, a security expert and professor at Mexico’s Universidad Iberoamericana, said cartel violence in a U.S. border city would be a “huge change” in the pattern of how criminal trafficking organizations operate.

“Traditionally American cities ... were ... kind of sanctuaries (for) the kingpins and some important members of each dominant Mexican organization,” Tirado wrote in an email. “In that sense, the non written rule was do not ‘heat’ (those) territories with violence and criminal activities.”

All of that is a direct result of Joe Biden's open border and the spillover effects that follow just as surely as those busloads of illegals from China and 100 other countries.

It's not just illegals who are coming. It's what they are bringing with them as they come that stands to turn San Diego and every other blue city into cities with Tijuana-like violence driven by the quest for drug and illegals profits.

JOE IS ON THE CARTELS' SIDE. SOCIOPATH JOE IS ALWAYS ON THE OTHER SIDE. THE CARTELS CONVEY HIS UNRIGESTERED DEM VOTERS OVER THE BORDER AND INTO OUR JOBS AND VOTING BOOTHS

Mexican authorities have found several large groups of migrants at hotels or being moved in tractor-trailers in recent weeks. Officials are also seeing a spike in ransom kidnappings where cartel-connected human smugglers hold migrants to further extort their families.

Californians Arming Up for Self-Defense as Illegals Flood into Cities

Californians are arming up for self-defense as the U.S. Border Patrol carries out street drop-offs of illegal immigrants in and around cities like San Diego.

The New York Post reported that “roughly 125,000 migrants have been released onto the streets in the San Diego area since September,” and many area residents are reacting by purchasing firearms and ammunition for themselves and their families.

Cory Gautereaux owns a gun store, Firearms Unlimited California, in northeast San Diego and he has seen business increase as more and more illegals are let loose on the streets.

Gautereaux said, “The problem for people that live around the gun store is the street dropoffs.”

He added, “That’s driven business to us.”

On October 11, 2023, the Daily Mail noted that the Border Patrol “[released] 13,000 migrants onto San Diego streets in a month due to overflowing shelters.”

The Post pointed out that gun shop customer Keith Carnevale echoed Gautereaux’s observations, “My wife and I have had home defense guns for many years. Recently, though, with all the stuff that’s happening south of the border and all the people coming over, my concerns have broadened.”

Carnevale indicated his whole family is now armed.

California has more gun controls than any state in the Union. Those controls include a ten-day waiting period for gun purchases; this means Californians who fear for their lives and go to a gun store to acquire a firearm for self-defense have to wait ten business days before taking possession of the gun.

Joe Biden’s Parole Pipeline Imports Over 950,000 Foreign Nationals to U.S., Exceeding Population of South Dakota

President Joe Biden’s parole pipeline has released more than 950,000 foreign nationals into the United States since its inception in January 2023 — exceeding the entire population of South Dakota.

Late last week, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) released figures for March, showing Biden’s parole pipeline is continuing to release tens of thousands of foreign nationals into the United States interior via the southern border and commercial flights.

From January 2023 through March 2024, more than 950,000 foreign nationals have been released into American communities thanks to Biden’s parole pipeline. The pipeline brings foreign nationals to the U.S. through the administration’s “CBP One” mobile app and “humanitarian parole.”

For perspective, more foreign nationals have arrived in the United States on parole under Biden than there are people living in the state of South Dakota.

The CBP One app, whereby those in northern Mexico schedule appointments at the border for release into the United States interior, has brought more than 547,000 foreign nationals into the country. Those arriving via CBP One are primarily from Venezuela, Haiti, and Mexico.

Likewise, about 404,000 nationals of Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela have arrived in the United States on humanitarian parole during the same 15-month period. Those securing humanitarian parole fly into the United States via commercial flights after getting approval from DHS to enter the country.

Specifically, DHS has allowed about 84,000 Cubans, 154,000 Haitians, 69,000 Nicaraguans, and 95,000 Venezuelans to fly to the United States and secure humanitarian parole.

Those getting parole under Biden have a massively high success rate if they apply for the immigration benefit. Sen. Katie Britt (R-AL), during a hearing last week, said DHS is approving parole for more than 97 percent of applicants.

DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas argued that despite the high approval rate, “those [parole] cases are received on an individualized basis.”

Joe Biden Welcomes 110,000 H-1B ‘Fly-in Migrants’ for 2024 College Grad Jobs

President Joe Biden is opening the nation’s airports to hundreds of thousands of white collar migrants who want the jobs and careers needed by hard pressed and indebted U.S. graduates.

On April 30, for example, Biden’s pro-migration border chief announced the selection of 120,603 requests by companies, universities, and research centers to import roughly 110,000 white-collar H-1B workers for jobs that would otherwise go to American graduates.

“The H-1B program is an essential part of our nation’s immigration system and our economy, and we are committed to implementing the law and helping meet the ever-changing needs of the U.S. labor market,” said a statement from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services agency within the Department of Homeland Security.

The agency is headed by Alejandro Mayorkas, a Cuban-born, pro-migration zealot who has cut open new regulatory pathways for foreign graduates to get jobs in the United States via the J-1, TN, O-1, B-1/B-2, OPT, CPT, and other visa programs.

Many of the programs are riddled with fraud, partly because they allow foreigners to move out of their poor home countries and into the United States. For example, roughly half of the 780,000 applications for the H-1B visas in 2024 were deemed fraudulent.

This 2024 rush of fly-in migrants is pushing many American graduates out of white-collar jobs, professional careers, good homes, marriages, and families, said Kevin Lynn, founder of the U.S. Tech Workers advocacy group.

“The door is wide open to the [presidential] candidate that can articulate that message effectively to the college-graduate voters,” he said, adding:

They’re the ones that are being injured by high levels of immigration … they’re fighting a serious headwind [of peer pressure] that is slowing their recognition that they’re being injured by immigration.

For example, Trump’s poll support among white college graduates lags behind President Joe Biden’s support, according to an April poll by NBC.

In 2020, “Trump did connect the dots with the Tennessee Valley Authority” when it tried to boost executives’ pay by replacing Americans with foreign white-collar contractors, Lynn said. “He saved 200 [technology] jobs that would have been outsourced and then eventually offshored.”

Any pushback is also good for the nation, he said, because imported workers are less innovative and productive than American professionals, despite complaints by stock-funded investors, said:

One of the reasons we’re seeing lags in innovation and productivity is that we’ve thrown overboard the skilled American professionals who are capable of making those leaps … We threw overboard the professionals who would push back against management — that would strive for excellence — when the plans pushed by executives were flawed.

This fly-in white-collar inflow is in addition to the huge inflow of illegal southern migrants across the southern border, and the annual arrival of roughly 1 million legal immigrants.

The vast inflow is also backed by the Department of State, which uses its embassies to encourage many Indian graduates to enroll in U.S. colleges where they can get jobs via the huge, lobbyist-created “Optional Practical Training” and Curricular Practical Training” programs.

U.S. employers keep a white-collar workforce of roughly 1.5 million foreign contract workers in jobs and careers needed by American graduates. That foreign population is roughly twice the annual output of skilled technology graduates from the nation’s science, business, engineering, and healthcare universities.

This army of cheap contract workers provides investors with a submissive and disposable workforce, and it also minimizes the number of American professionals who might disagree with C-Suite decisions or convert their experience into new companies. Many of these workers are unskilled but get their jobs via bribes and ethnic favoritism that leave American professions without opportunities and protections from federal civil rights legislation.

Overall, Mayorkas is welcoming more migrants each year than the number of Americans who are graduating from K-12 schools.

“Here is a brutal fact for the college class of 2024: There aren’t enough college-level jobs out there for all of you,” New York Times columnist Peter Coy wrote April 29:

Fifty-two percent of college grads are underemployed a year after graduation, meaning they are working in jobs that don’t require the degrees they earned, according to a February report by the Burning Glass Institute, which analyzes the job market, and the Strada Institute for the Future of Work.

Five years out from school, about 88 percent of those who are underemployed are “severely” underemployed, the report said. These are the top five jobs they’re doing: information and record clerk, supervisor of sales, retail sales worker, sales representative in services, and secretary and administrative assistant.

“Even a decade after graduation, 45 percent of graduates are underemployed,” the report said.

Government data shows the underemployment problem is especially true for U.S. graduates who earn technology degrees — and is even worse among older tech-trained grads.

On APril 21, Aol.com reported the case of a discarded — almost penniless — biology PhD:

One hundred and twenty-three days. That’s how long 30-year-old Geena Ildefonso says it took her to find a new job, despite having a doctorate in biology and nine years of work experience.

She had spent months chronicling her job hunting experience on TikTok, often sharing her most frustrated moments.

“This feeling of being unemployed and applying to a job and retailing your resume, getting rejected and then seeing the job reposted literally two weeks later is demoralizing,” she said in a clip posted Feb. 28. In the same video, she revealed her savings account had a negative balance.

“Underemployed graduates are the inconvenient truth of globalization,” Lynn said. “They can’t get married — they don’t have enough money even with two incomes.”

Federal data shows that white-collar salaries are slipping amid Biden’s inflation, even as state regulations help the least-paid workers keep pace with inflation.

However, business leaders and Democrats show little concern about Americans’ inability to get married and have children. The missing American children can be replaced by more migrants, according to Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY).

The economic policy has pushed many native-born Americans out of careers in a wide variety of business sectors, reduced Americans’ productivity and political clout, slowed high-tech innovation, shrunk trade, crippled civic solidarity, and incentivized government officials and progressives to ignore the rising death rate of discarded,low-status Americans.

The policy also sucks jobs and wealth from heartland states by subsidizing coastal investors and government agencies with a flood of low-wage workers, high-occupancy renters, and government-aided consumers. Similar migration policies have damaged citizens and economics in Canada and the United Kingdom.

The colonialism-like policy has damaged small countries and has killed hundreds of Americans and thousands of migrants, including many on the taxpayer-funded jungle trail through the Darien Gap in Panama.

Big Tech Writes Its Ticket to the White House

Silicon Valley's allies are filling up the Biden administration. A big payoff is sure to follow.

Washington Free Beacon Editors - DECEMBER 23, 2020 6:10 PM

Silicon Valley played an integral role in propelling Joe Biden to the White House. He raked in uncounted millions from liberal tech billionaires such as Netflix's Reed Hastings, LinkedIn's Reid Hoffman, and Apple heiress Laurene Powell Jobs; their employees shelled out $5 million more.

As Biden takes office, the techies want what they paid for. Reuters reports that executives at top firms like Amazon, Google, Facebook, and Microsoft are gunning for jobs at the Departments of Defense, State, Justice, and Commerce and also eyeing influential posts at the Federal Trade Commission and beyond.

They want two things: lucrative federal contracts and less scrutiny than they’ve gotten over the past four years, as President Donald Trump has made their bias against conservatives front-page news. The Department of Justice's antitrust inquiry into big tech has already garnered bipartisan backing, including from a group of state attorneys general who have filed their own suit.

A Biden administration could make all of that go away. And it could ignore altogether these firms' obsequious dealings with Communist China.

That explains the rush to fill seats: It’s unlikely that the techies moving into the Biden administration will check their business relationships at the door. Each hire is another pressure point for Silicon Valley’s most powerful to exploit.

This is hardly a problem unique to Democrats—you just hear about it less when they’re in the White House. This sort of revolving door was considered outrageous in the George W. Bush administration, when Democrats and the media harped relentlessly on Dick Cheney’s ties to Halliburton and charged that he was in the pocket of Big Oil. They raised the same ruckus when Trump appointed Exxon chief Rex Tillerson as his first secretary of state.

These unseemly connections aren’t new for Democrats. Google employees averaged a meeting a week with that Obama White House, influencing a president who "routinely pushed policy that pleased the tech-savvy."

Now think what happens with those same lobbyists running the show. After rolling out transition teams free of connections to big tech, Team Biden added several Facebook executives over the Thanksgiving holiday. The transition team "has already stacked its agency review teams with more tech executives than tech critics," Reuters notes, including "several officials from Big Tech companies, which emerged as top donors to the campaign."

Their influence doesn’t stop there. Biden on Tuesday named as an economic adviser Joelle Gamble, who last worked as an investor under eBay founder Pierre Omidyar, funneling funding to outfits run by other Biden appointees. Others may soon follow, like Mark Zuckerberg’s philanthropy chief and former Kamala Harris aide Mike Troncoso.

For just one example of how a problematic connection, consider WestExec, the consultancy cofounded by secretary of state nominee Tony Blinken. The firm helped Google win contracts from the Defense Department and advised Google cofounder Eric Schmidt's philanthropy. Now, Reuters says, Schmidt is making recommendations for personnel in the Biden Defense Department, a textbook example of business relationships shaping government policy.

That’s just the start of the coming horse trading, hidden behind the Obama-era pretext that the White House is merely cultivating a relationship with the smartest people. But if personnel is policy, the Biden White House will be doing everything it can to comfort Silicon Valley’s most comfortable.

Biden Taps Liberal Billionaire’s Acolyte for Top Econ. Job

Incoming Biden adviser's last project said capitalism 'fundamentally broken'

Charles Fain Lehman - DECEMBER 21, 2020 4:40 PM

President-elect Joe Biden announced Monday that he will appoint Joelle Gamble, who previously worked as a principal at the social-change investment firm funded by liberal billionaire Pierre Omidyar, as a top economic adviser.

Gamble, who left her role at the Omidyar Network (ON) to work on domestic economic policy for the Biden-Harris transition team, will serve as special assistant to the president for economic policy, a job on the National Economic Council.

That role may be informed by her previous work as a principal at the network's "reimagining capitalism" project, an Elizabeth Warren-esque endeavor that maintains that "capitalism can still be a powerful force for good" but that "the current form of capitalism is fundamentally broken."

Gamble's appointment means that an economic progressive will have the president's ear as he seeks to revitalize the post-COVID economy. It also forges a connection between the Biden administration and Omidyar, who has funneled millions to left-leaning activist groups, including those run by other Biden appointees, and is a major funder of groups opposed to President Donald Trump.

Neither the Biden Transition Team nor the Omidyar Network responded to requests for comment.

Gamble joined the Omidyar Network last June, following her graduation from Princeton's graduate program in economics. In that role, she was a frequent public commentator on what she saw as the injustices and inequities of capitalism, writing in the left-wing magazine Dissent, for example, that "our measure of economic security is based on white economic security." Reporting her involvement with the Biden transition in October, the Washington Examiner described her as "represent[ing] the left wing of the Democratic Party within Biden's economic team."

She honed those positions at ON, a social-change investor that operates as both an LLC and a 501(c)3 nonprofit, allowing it to invest in both for-profit and non-profit ventures.

ON operates several major projects across its portfolio of over $100 million in outstanding grants. That includes Gamble's "reimagining capitalism," which aims to restructure capitalist society around principles that include "an explicitly anti-racist and inclusive economy" and "rebalanc[ing] the relationship between markets, governments, and communities."

Under that aegis, "reimagining capitalism" has given grants to a number of influential left-leaning groups, including those with connections to the incoming administration. Contributions include $500,000 to the Roosevelt Institute, where Gamble worked for five years before matriculating at Princeton, as well as $700,000 to the Center for American Progress, run by Biden OMB nominee Neera Tanden, and $1.5 million to the Washington Center for Equitable Growth, led by Heather Boushey, a Biden nominee to serve on the Council of Economic Advisers.

The whole affair is funded by eBay cofounder Pierre Omidyar, whose net worth Forbes estimates to be in excess of $20 billion. Omidyar is one of a group of Silicon Valley billionaires who have increasingly flexed their financial muscle in the political arena since Donald Trump's ascent to the presidency.

ON is not Omidyar's only charitable venture. Through Democracy Fund Voice, he has given extensively to activist groups including the Proteus Action League, Sixteen Thirty Fund, and the Tides Foundation, the primary sponsor of Black Lives Matter. He also has a history of financial support for Democrats, including generous donations to the DSCC and DCCC in the early 2000s and contributions to both Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D., Calif.) and then-senator Harry Reid (D., Nev.) in 2008. His media company, First Look Media, is the primary backer of the left-wing investigative outlet The Intercept.

Omidyar has also been a generous backer specifically of opponents of Trump. He was the primary funder of NeverTrump PAC, later Never Means Never PAC, dropping $250,000 over the 2016 cycle. He also backed the anti-Trump "Not Who We Are" PAC, alongside fellow Silicon Valley billionaires Dustin Moskovitz, Cari Tuna, and Christopher Hughes. Through Democracy Fund Voice, he has given over half-a-million dollars to support Stand Up Republic, a group that organizes Republicans critical of the president.

Techies like Omidyar have flocked to Biden, with a Wired investigation finding that 95 percent of contributions from tech employees went to the Democratic nominee. They are in turn already enjoying outsized influence in the transition, which has drawn on Silicon Valley to staff its teams. Gamble's appointment extends these connections from the office to the network of charitable groups funded by top tech execs, further entwining the Biden administration with their wealth.

Democrats Have Deliberately Shattered The Ties Binding America

There has never been a more dangerous time in the world than right now. Moreover, great empires can end quickly, as the Soviet Union’s abrupt collapse showed. The lesson we should take away from this monumental historical moment is that nothing is assured and countries must be held together by more than the brute force of government power. In America, under Democrat leadership, we are intentionally splinter ourselves along artificially created fault lines, whether cultural or financial. That must change if we are to survive.

We Americans require leaders who can communicate a simple, understandable, and compelling message that strikes at the heart of our primary divisions and challenges us, much as President Kennedy did in his famous “Ask Not What Your Country Can Do For You “speech. Our leaders must stop pandering to the partisan interests that are so prevalent today.

Our country is shot through with millions of people who do not wish our nation well or, even worse, do not understand what is in their best interest or that of the country. With shouts of “Death to America“ echoing on American campuses, we can no longer be patient with those elements that seek to destroy us and show no loyalty to their mother country.

Rampant illegal immigration also destroys American cohesion. A gold rush is going on, with illegal immigrants rushing to stake a claim before the border closes. Many, if not most, of the people coming here, have no interest or understanding of what it means to be an American and the responsibilities that go with it. They come here for the freebies. Dedication to the rule of law is an afterthought or goes out the window entirely when they storm our borders with no thought of doing it the right way. It is all downhill from there.

America is imperfect, but that’s not expected of any human institution. Still, America has done so much good in this world, especially because of its extraordinary contributions to winning WWII and preventing the spread of communism in the decades after. Those accomplishments saved the world and led to the most extraordinary drop in world poverty in history. We can’t continue helping the world prosper if we are overrun!

To continue the good we’ve done to date, America must return to its creative roots in engineering, computer science, infrastructure, medicine, agriculture, manufacturing, and most importantly, financial discipline. Consumerism, by itself, does not make an economy. One also needs a government with fiscal discipline, which America completely lacks.

Did you know that America creates a trillion dollars in debt every 100 days? It’s not that we don’t pay enough taxes; our country collects more taxes than any other nation. It’s how we spend it that is broken and must be reformed.

You must now ask yourself what allowed this disconnect between expectations and available resources. The Founders understood that there would be a day when the electorate would figure out they could vote themselves other peoples’ money. That day has arrived and expanded to include border crossers.

The current path is not sustainable and ends badly. Good leadership lays out essential priorities, making decisions less politically and more pragmatically.

To start America’s recovery, here’s an excellent first step: Have the President regularly talk to the American people about the realities of unlimited wants versus limited resources. It may take a while, but eventually, the argument’s logic can convince enough people that the nation’s living within its means is in everyone’s best interest. It is only through enlarging the pie that great accomplishments (now scarce) will once again become common.

The Democrats, with their hard left base, see squeezing the rich as the appropriate and/or populist path. However, if you confiscated the wealth of the top 1%, you would be back to where we are today in about ten years, and then what? Remember that a substantial portion of the wealth of the top 1% is invested. Spend it, and there would be little investment, leading to a likely even shorter period before we are broke again!

Two generations of leftist media, a broken education system, and a corrupt government that protects itself at all costs have brought us to this day. By and large, our youth have lost their ability to look rationally at what is required of them to shape their own future. They feel simultaneously entitled and angry.

Ask them, and they’ll tell you that the Baby Boomers were the last generation to make it. They feel justified to malinger and complain about the remaining scraps. Biden told them they were entitled to abandon their student debt obligations.

15% of Americans want to leave our country. Never before have so many been so disenchanted that they effectively see the American Dream as dead.

The clock is ticking down our remaining time, however much that is. There is time left to make a difference. How many of my readers and millions more understand that their future is tied to a thriving America?

The time to dither is over. There are too many ways to step wrong and fail or wind up in a defensive war we are unprepared to fight. We must have better leaders. We must stop destroying the best of us and promote them to leadership positions instead. Everyone is legally equal, but those who wage war on us using Equity as their weapon will only succeed in destroying everything and everybody.

Who will fight for the values that our forefathers fought so valiantly for, risking everything in the process? If not you, then who? The blood of an untold number of patriots waits for your answer.

God Bless America.

Breitbart Business Digest: Biden’s Noncompete Ban Is a Gift to Silicon Valley

JOHN CARNEY

Biden’s FTC Moves to Protect Apple, Google, Meta, and Microsoft with a Ban on Noncompetes

The Biden administration’s declaration that it will treat almost all noncompete provisions in employment agreements as illegal should be seen for what it is: sectional warfare and a giveaway to his wealthy supporters in Silicon Valley.

The Biden appointees Federal Trade Commission voted Tuesday to ban noncompete agreements for virtually all employees, from the hourly wage workers to the most senior company executives. The vote was strictly partisan, with the commission’s three Democrats favoring the ban and the two Republicans opposing it.

When the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) first began mulling a rule against noncompetes, many expected that it would be structured to cover only lower paid workers or at least stop at the c-suite.

Most of the political rhetoric against the provisions has been directed at the fact that in recent years they’ve been sometimes applied to some people who work as custodial staff, or sandwich shop workers, or security guards. For these workers, noncompetes are basically irrational products of over-lawyering—even if they are rarely enforced and possibly unenforceable in most circumstances. If the FTC banned only these noncompetes, there would likely be few objections and no negative economic impact.

But Biden’s FTC decided to adopt a maximalist stance on noncompetes, barring them even for senior executives. You might not think that Tim Cook needs protection from the FTC against Apple unfairly asking him to wait several months before leaving to run a different tech giant, but the FTC does.

Actually, Cook was already protected from the burden of a noncompete provision in his employment agreement by a law that has been on the books in California for 150 years. The Golden State has long had one of the strictest rules against the provisions, and last year Gov. Gavin Newsom signed a pair of additional laws further cracking down on noncompetes.

This is one reason that Silicon Valley is not up in arms about the FTC rule. It has been operating under a bar on noncompete agreements from the start. Microsoft, although based in Washington, said last year that it would voluntarily stop enforcing noncompete agreements. Which means that by adopting the rule, the FTC was not risking politically alienating the big Biden tech sector donors.

Californication of Noncompetes Is a War on Texas, Michigan, and Pennsylvania

To the contrary, the FTC is delivering a huge gift to Silicon Valley and Microsoft because the rule amounts to a Californication of the rest of the country. States hoping to attract innovative companies with laws that are more permissive when it comes to contractual noncompetes will now be barred from doing so by the power of the federal government.

Texas is probably the most prominent victim of the FTC’s Californication rule. Noncompetes are generally enforceable under Texas law, so companies that consider the provisions important had reason to locate there instead of neighboring California. The same is true for Pennsylvania and Michigan, states that also would very much like to break California’s hold on tech start-ups and have the higher education firepower to make that a realistic goal. Wisconsin is slightly stricter about noncompetes, but it too is far more permissive than California—or it was until the FTC declared this week that this is now illegal.

In other words, the FTC’s new rule against noncompetes is itself anticompetitive. Its effect—a cynic could even say its goal—is to make it harder for the 47 states that allow contractual noncompetes to compete with California for jobs, investment, and innovation. It also makes it harder for smaller tech companies to protect themselves and their intellectual property from predation by Apple, Meta, Google, and Microsoft.

The Vaporware of a Noncompete Ban

The fact that California has long banned noncompetes is also a reason why the alleged benefits—thousands of more patents, an explosion of innovation, lots and lots of jobs—of a nationwide ban touted by the FTC are likely to turn out to be vaporware. Employees seeking to escape the grip of a noncompete to found their own companies already had the option of moving to a state that would not enforce the provision. And states that believed they were losing out on innovative companies could change their laws.

The nationwide ban is more likely to stymie innovation and investment by preventing states from experimenting with different legal treatments of noncompetes and banning companies from seeking the right legal regime for their business. We’ve had terrific success in developing technology in this country with a federalist approach to contractual noncompetes. Adopting a one-size-fits all model is a risky experiment, at best.

The silver lining here is that the FTC’s rule is held up by the slimmest legal thread. It’s very likely that the federal courts will put the rule on hold and eventually strike it down as overreaching the commission’s statutory authority. If the federal government is going to ban noncompetes, it likely requires actual legislation rather than agency fiat.

That likely does not matter to Biden and his apparatchiks in the federal regulatory bureaucracy. The goal of keeping Donald Trump out of the White House overrides any concerns about the long-term economic effects of their policies or their legality. They think the noncompete ban is a political winner—and that’s all that counts for this administration.

Conclusion

There you have it – the Democratic Party in all its totalitarian glory. Whatever obstacles its members may face, their instinctive response is always the same: iron-fisted thuggery. (BELOW)

Has Our Government Erased the First Amendment?

The most important thing you will see this week is this interview of Mike Benz by Tucker Carlson: Benz is with the Foundation for Freedom, which tracks government censorship. In this interview he explains how our government rigged elections abroad and has now, through DHS (Department of Homeland Security) and CISA (Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency), censored online communications, noting that its most substantial censorship involved blocking and limiting any critiques online respecting the government’s responses to COVID-19 and the security of the 2020 election.

Rep. Andy Ogles Introduces Articles of Impeachment Against Biden, Harris: ‘They Have Mired Office in Criminal Activity, Political Weaponization’

AMY FURR

Rep. Andy Ogles (R-TN) introduced articles of impeachment Monday against President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, accusing them of poorly handling their leadership roles.

The articles accuse Biden of “weaponizing” the presidency in an effort to “shield the business and influence peddling schemes of his family from congressional oversight and public accountability,” Fox News reported Monday.

In a social media post on Monday, Ogles said Biden and Harris have “refused to protect and defend the Constitution.”

“They have mired their office in criminal activity and political weaponization. It is time their corruption be brought to task with the full force of the law,” he added:

IMG_267

The documents also claim the president has acted in a “manner contrary to the public trust and subversive of constitutional government, to the great prejudice of the cause of law and justice and to the manifest injury of the people of the United States” in regard to how he has dealt with the crisis at the southern border.

In February, Ogles yelled, “It’s your fault,” at Biden during the State of the Union Address when he was speaking about fentanyl deaths, according to Breitbart News.

IMG_268

Ogles later said he was one of those who shouted at Biden regarding the issue.

“He has left our border wide open and allowed our streets to be flooded with drugs; meanwhile, 60% of women and children are raped trying to cross. Yes, it’s his fault,” he stated.

According to WKRN, Ogles said in a statement Monday, “Joe Biden hasn’t just failed the American people with his abysmal excuse for ‘leadership,’ he’s violated his sworn oath to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States.”

“Joe Biden has repeatedly abused his position of power, both as vice president and president, to cover up his illicit family business dealings and exploitation of taxpayer resources,” he concluded:

IMG_269

Punishments attached to an official impeachment are removal from office and a possible ban from serving in the government, the WKRN report said.

The impeachment articles regarding Harris target her performance as vice president and how she has dealt with issues at the nation’s southern border, per the Fox report.

The documents accuse her of exhibiting “extraordinary incompetence” regarding her responsibilities at the border.

After Biden named Harris the “Border Czar” in 2021, she faced mounting criticism from Republicans due to her lack of effort and hesitancy in visiting the border to assess the situation, Breitbart News reported in May.

Elon Musk’s Twitter Censors ALIPAC Ad on Documentation of Noncitizen Voters Citing ‘Hate Speech’

Americans For Legal Immigration PAC (ALIPAC) has withdrawn support for Elon Musk’s X/Twitter after the platform censored its ad promoting a new website and forum section aimed at documenting noncitizen and illegal migrant voters.

On April 17, ALIPAC launched a press release announcing the creation of NonCitizenVoters.com, a website dedicated to collecting documentation of noncitizen and illegal migrant voters. The purpose of the site is to assist media, lawmakers, candidates, and voters in addressing this acknowledged national issue. However, the X/Twitter ad promoting the press release and information, which quickly gained 44,000 views, was censored and halted by Elon Musk’s company.

William Gheen, spokesman for ALIPAC, said in a post: “Today we are releasing Twitter’s emails to us declaring that felony-committing noncitizen and illegal migrant voters are a ‘protected group’ on X and promoting documentation and sources proving we have a system-wide problem with this form of election fraud is considered ‘hate speech / hateful content’ which they will block!”

The release and post was flooded by comments on both X/Twitter and Facebook, claiming that anyone concerned about the issue of illegal migrant voters was lying and a racist. ALIPAC notified a national network of activists and encouraged them to respond to the trolls with links and source citations.

ALIPAC believes that many of the commenters are online trolls, referring to them as “China Trolls” or “Laughing Trolls.” According to ALIPAC, these trolls are hired by unknown paymasters and attack people in groups, use the same language, and target accounts that have low visibility and are shadowbanned, such as @ALIPAC. These trolls also appear to have a poor understanding of basic English and the issues at hand, according to ALIPAC. They respond very quickly to certain content, which suggests that they are searching platforms to find targeted content about immigration, Ukraine, and other related topics.

When ALIPAC contested the censorship of their ad by X/Twitter and inquired why it was censored, Twitter initially stated: “Our team manually reviewed your content and confirmed that it violates our Hateful Content policy…Hate speech or advocacy against a protected group, individual, or organization.” However, when asked where it was written that people of many races violating American election laws and committing felonies by voting as noncitizens are a protected group, Twitter changed its stance and claimed that the ad was targeting countries not permitted for advertising Political Content.

ALIPAC, a registered Political Action Committee, responded by citing a recent article in the Guardian stating that Twitter allows U.S. political candidates and parties to advertise. They asked for clarification on whether the current Twitter / X Political Content Policy prohibits their political advertising in the United States or if a change needs to be made to allow their ads to run only in the United States.

Twitter did not respond and instead reiterated their claim that the ad violates their “Hate Speech” rules.

DEMOCRAT PARTY NEO-FASCISM: FIRST BLOCK FREE SPEECH UNDER THE GUISE OF 'MISINFORMATION'

The city's Measure A, which passed with 53% support, mandates voter ID for local elections, but state officials claim it disenfranchises vulnerable groups and contradicts California's election laws. Huntington Beach argues the measure is legal under its charter city status and aligns with the will of its voters. The state is also considering a bill that would prevent cities from creating local voter ID laws Huntington Beach Mayor Gracey Van Der Mar defended the city's decision to implement voter identification requirements for local elections during a recent interview. Van Der Mar cited concerns from constituents about election integrity and unverified reports of some voters being told they had already voted. While a majority of Huntington Beach voters approved a ballot measure requiring photo IDs to vote in person, the state of California is suing to block the measure. Mrs. Van Der Mar questioned why the state is fighting so aggressively against a policy supported by residents. She argued that IDs are required for many other activities and questioned if opposing voter ID implies a lack of respect for voters. Supporters argue voter ID increases security and participation by instilling faith in the election process. However, others argue such policies can disproportionately impact certain groups' ability to vote. As a former resident of a low-income minority community, Mrs. Van Der Mar found suggestions that such communities cannot obtain IDs to be offensive. Going forward, Mrs. Van Der Mar pledged to honor voters' wishes while continuing to advocate for election security and integrity. However, the legal battle highlights ongoing debates around balancing access, security and citizens' confidence in the democratic process. Insights to Consider Before November

Description automatically generated

Here are some interesting points to think about prior to the November election, especially for my friends on the fence, like moderate Democrats, Libertarians and Independents, Never-Trump Republicans, and those thinking of "walking away" from the Democrat party.

Women are upset at Trump’s naughty words. They also bought 80 million copies of 50 Shades of Gray.

Not one feminist has defended Sarah Sanders. It seems women’s rights only matter if those women are liberal.

No border wall. No voter ID laws. Did you figure it out yet? But wait... there's more.

Chelsea Clinton got out of college and got a job at NBC that paid $900,000 per year. Her mom flies around the country speaking out about white privilege.

And just like that, they went from being against foreign interference in our elections to allowing non-citizens to vote in our elections.

President Trump’s wall costs less than the Obamacare website. Let that sink in, America.

We are one election away from open borders, socialism, gun confiscation, and full-term abortion nationally. We are fighting evil.

They sent more troops and armament to arrest Roger Stone than they sent to defend Benghazi.

Sixty years ago, Venezuela was 4th on the world economic freedom index. Today, they are 179th and their citizens are dying of starvation. In only 10 years, Venezuela was destroyed by "democratic socialism".

Russia donated $0.00 to the Trump campaign. Russia donated $145,600,000 to the Clinton Foundation. But Trump was the one investigated.

Nancy Pelosi invited illegal aliens to the State of the Union. President Trump invited victims of illegal aliens to the State of the Union. Let that sink in.

A socialist is basically a communist who doesn’t have the power to take everything from their citizens at gunpoint... yet.

How do you walk 3000 miles across Mexico without food or support and show up at our border 100 pounds overweight and with a cellphone?

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez wants to ban cars, ban planes, give out universal income and she thinks socialism works. She calls Donald Trump crazy.

Bill Clinton paid $850,000 to Paula Jones to get her to go away. I don’t remember the FBI raiding his lawyer’s office.

I wake up every day and I am grateful that Hillary Clinton is not the president of the United States of America.

The same media that told me Hillary Clinton had a 95% chance of winning now tells me Trump’s approval ratings are low.

“The problem with socialism is that sooner or later you run out of other people’s money”— Margaret Thatcher

Maxine Waters opposes voter ID laws; she thinks that they are racist. You need to have a photo ID to attend her town hall meetings.

President Trump said, "They’re not after me. They’re after you. I’m just in their way."

Now, go back and read this again like your future depends upon it. Because it does.

Perhaps even more, it matters because Mexico's politics seems to be the model for Democratic Party politics these days as rage over Trump dominates.  In California, ballot-harvesting has been adopted as a legal practice, in what's a straight-out cultural appropriation of Mexican politics.  If the Democrats are planning to make themselves the "perfect dictatorship" along the PRI model of one-party rule, starting in California and taking that style national, well, the unhappy question is, what else are they borrowing from Mexican politics as they (without saying so, of course) borrow from the Mexican Model?  Yes, it sounds far-fetched.  But we also know how implacably angry the Democrats still are at the election of Donald Trump and how they like to get away with things.

As in 2016, Democrats advance a corrupt ruling-class candidate. Like the dead man Gary Ernst, Democrats want people to vote for Joe Biden so they can swap him out for Kamala Harris, already a beneficiary of voter fraud and with the exception of Xavier Becerra possibly the worst attorney general in California history.

Kamala Harris Urges Illegal Migrants to Help Elect Joe Biden

NEIL MUNRO

Sen. Kamala Harris promised Sunday to reduce detention space for migrants as she asked an illegal immigrant activist to help Joe Biden win the election.

BLOG EDITOR: WHY DIDN’T LAWYER KAMALA HARRIS TELL THE ILLEGAL TO GO HOME??? SHE’S THE ONE WHO AS ATTORNEY GENERAL OF CA DECLARED THAT NEARLY HALF THE MURDERS IN MEXIFORNIA ARE BY MEX GANGS!

“I’m undocumented … I can’t vote …What can we do during this election to help make sure that we get you elected?” asked Astrid Silva, who was brought into the United States as a child by her illegal migrant parents.

“You can tell people who can vote what life is like for you now, and what life can be like,” Vice President nominee Harris told the Nevada-based political organizer who runs the pro-amnesty Dream Big Nevada group, adding that:

We are committed to shutting down private detention centers and ending policies that have been about separating children from their parents at the border.

Harris’s comments may be a coded message to would-be illegal migrants and their supportive legal-immigrant relatives.

For example, if implemented, Harris’s promise to start “shutting down private detention centers” could cripple border enforcement. If the enforcement agency does not have commercial prisons to hold detainees prior to their asylum hearings, the agency would be forced to release waves of job-seeking migrants into the U.S. labor market.

Similarly, Harris’s promise to end “policies … about separating children” echoes the media-magnified demand by pro-migration activists that officials release migrant mothers and children when they cross the border. That demand would let migrant families freely travel to relatives — including their illegal migrant husbands and fathers — who are working illegally in the United States.

Last week in Nevada, I caught up with my friend @Astrid_NV, to discuss the Biden-Harris plan for immigration reform and how Dreamers can make a difference in this election.

If you're eligible to vote, show up at the ballot box for those who can't: https://t.co/VbrfuqVy9Ppic.twitter.com/knU2qFSYmn

— Kamala Harris (@KamalaHarris) November 1, 2020

Like Biden, Harris pushed the Cold War “Nation of Immigrants” claim, even though only about 10 percent of people in the United States are legal immigrants:

We want to have a president who understands we are a nation of immigrants. This is a country that was built and that has derived its strength from immigrants coming here over the generations.

Harris also tried to blur the legal and civic differences between illegal migrants, legal immigrants, and American citizens. For example, she told Silva:

Define who you are, and you tell the world who you are. Don’t let anybody ever put you in a box because they have a limited perspective on who can do what and who can be one.

We are all in this together. And so, chin up, shoulders back, right? We speak our truth and know that there will always be people applauding and supporting that even if you can’t see them at that one moment, know that there are so many of us who are supporting your leadership and the power of your voice. It’s really important.

Harris also claimed President Donald Trump vilified immigrants: “We’ve seen under the current president the kind of vitriol, the kind of hate, the vilification of immigrants in such a horrible way.”

But a Washington Post poll showed in April that Latinos are the strongest advocates for a near-total halt to legal immigration during the coronavirus epidemic and economic crash.

Biden’s 2020 plan promises to “reassert America’s commitment to asylum-seekers and refugees,” wipe out Trump’s asylum reforms, bar any deportations for 100 days, and end migration enforcement against illegal aliens unless they commit a felony.

Joe Biden’s asylum and open-border policies will destroy the American middle class by releasing millions of foreign migrants into the United States, Stephen Miller told reporters October 28. https://t.co/BaeLSIud7y

Biden also wants to let companies import more visa workers, let mayors import temporary workers, and allow an unlimited flow of foreign graduates through U.S. universities into white-collar jobs. Biden would “exempt from any cap [the] recent graduates of Ph.D. programs in STEM fields.”

Biden also wants to accelerate the inflow of chain migration migrants and dramatically accelerate the inflow of poor refugees to at least 125,000 per year.

“The influx of low wage workers from all across the world will drive down incomes, drive down wages, deplete the middle class, bankrupt Social Security, bankrupt Medicare, bankrupt Medicaid, bankrupt federal entitlements, overcrowd schools, and overcrowd every hospital in the middle of a pandemic,” White House aide Stephen Miller told reporters on October 28.

“It is an assault on reason, it is an assault on law enforcement, and it’s an assault on the very idea of having a country, having a Republic,” Miller added. “This is not about left or right or Center. This is about between having a country, or not even having a country.”

ZUCKERBERG IS A MAJOR FUNDER OF LA RAZA, AND AN ADVOCATE FOR OPEN BORDERS.

Most of Biden’s 221,000 Vote Margin Gain in Georgia in 3 Counties that Received $15 Million from Zuckerberg-Funded ‘Safe Elections’ Project

MICHAEL PATRICK LEAHY

Most of Joe Biden’s 221,751 vote margin gain in Georgia, compared to Hillary Clinton’s performance in 2016, came from three metropolitan Atlanta counties that received more than $15 million from the Mark Zuckerberg-funded Center for Technology and Civic Life (CTCL) “safe elections” project.

Those three counties — Cobb, Fulton, and Gwinnett–accounted for 168,703 of Biden’s 221,751 vote margin gain, or 76 percent.

In 2016, Donald Trump defeated Hillary Clinton in Georgia by 211,141 votes, 2,089,104 to 1,877,963, according to the Georgia Secretary of State’s election website.

With 99 percent of precincts reporting as of 2:00 p.m. Eastern time on Monday, November 9, Democratic nominee Joe Biden was leading Donald Trump by 10,610 votes, 2,466,540 to 2,455,930, according to Real Clear Politics.

This currently represents a 221,751 vote gain in margin of votes cast for Joe Biden over Donald Trump in 2020 compared to the margin of votes cast for Donald Trump over Hillary Clinton in 2016.

The $15.8 million in “safe elections” grants these three counties in the Metropolitan Atlanta area–Fulton, Cobb, and Gwinnett- received from CTCL are a little more than four percent of the funding provided by Zuckerberg through CTCL to county and city election departments around the country in 2020.

“Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced on Tuesday that he and his wife have donated an additional $100 million to a “safe elections” project run by the non-profit Center for Technology and Civic Life (CTCL), bringing their total contributions to that project to $350 million since September 1,” Breitbart News reported in October.

“Critics say the CTCL project’s grants look a lot more like Democratic “Get-out-the-Vote” (GOTV) efforts in major cities around the country than good government efforts to protect the integrity of the electoral process of all Americans, regardless of their party affiliation,” Breitbart News reported:

An analysis by the Amistad Project of the Thomas More Society suggests a [partisan element to the CTCL project]. Since September 1, 2020, the CTCL has made at least $63.7 million in grants to election commissions in 18 counties and two cities for what the CTCL calls the coronavirus “safe elections” project.

More than 99.5 percent of this funding — $63.4 million — went to election commissions in 17 counties and two cities won by Hillary Clinton in 2016. Less than one half of one percent of the funding — a mere $289,000 — went to a county Donald Trump won in 2016, Hays County, Texas, which the president barely won by a margin of 50.4 percent to 49.6 percent.

A significant portion of these grants — more than $13.9 million — went to election commissions in areas Hillary Clinton won with more than 80 percent of the vote. Ten million dollars went to the city of Philadelphia in Pennsylvania, which Clinton won with 84 percent of the vote, $3.5 million went to Wayne County, Michigan, which Clinton won with 96 percent of the vote, and $467,000 went to the election commission in the city of Flint, Michigan, which Clinton won with 84 percent of the vote.

In September, the Rome News-Tribune reported that Cobb County’s Election Department  “was recently awarded a $5.6 million grant from a national nonprofit, the Center for Tech and Civic Life.”

The Center for Tech and Civic Life grant will help pay for:

♦ Almost 700 partitioned, secure voting system carriers to house the 2,258 ballot marking devices and optical scanners at all polling locations

♦ Hazard pay for roughly 2,300 workers at a rate of $100 per worker, per election.

♦ Additional temporary employees who will help prepare, process and tabulate absentee-by-mail ballots.

♦ Ballot mailing

♦ Advertising to promote absentee and early voting. (emphasis added)

Also in September, the Atlanta Journal Constitution reported Fulton County’s Election Department received “$6 million in a grant from the Center for Tech and Civic Life.”

In October, the Journal Constitution reported that Gwinnett County commissioners accepted a $4.1 million grant from CTCL “intended to be used for elections security.”

The grant is intended to be used for elections security and also allows the county to use some of the funds to cover costs from the June primary, county spokesman Joe Sorenson said.

“We are currently evaluating where the funds will be sourced to,” Sorenson said.

In the 2016 presidential election, Hillary Clinton received 297,051 votes in Fulton County, compared to 117,783 for Donald Trump, a net vote margin of 179, 268 for Hillary Clinton.

In Cobb County, Hillary Clinton received 160,121 votes compared to 152, 912 for Donald Trump, a net vote margin of 7,209 for Hillary Clinton.

In Gwinnett County, Hillary Clinton received 166,153 votes compared to 146, 989 for Donald Trump, a net vote margin of 19,164 for Hillary Clinton.

In those three counties combined, Hillary Clinton’s net vote margin over Donald Trump was 205,641. (Notably, in the rest of the state of Georgia, Donald Trump’s net vote margin over Hillary Clinton was 416,782.)

In the 2020 presidential election, Joe Biden received 379,095 votes in Fulton County, compared to 136,716 for Donald Trump, a net vote margin of 242,379 votes for Joe Biden.

In Cobb County, Biden received 221,746 votes, compared to 165,195 for Donald Trump, a net vote margin of 56,551 votes for Biden.

In Gwinnett County, Biden received 241,827 votes, compared to 166,413 votes for Donald Trump, a net vote margin of 75,414 votes for Biden.

In those three counties combined, Joe Biden’s net vote margin in 2020 over Donald Trump was 374,344, an increase of 168,703 over Hillary Clinton’s net vote margin of 205,641.

That 168,703 vote net margin increase for Biden in 2020 in the three counties that received $15.8 million in grants from the Zuckerberg-funded CTCL was 76 percent of the 221,751 net vote margin improvement for Biden that powered him to a 10,610 vote lead in Georgia with 99 percent of precincts reporting.

Between September 1, 2020 and October 30, 2020, the CTCL contributed more than $16.6 million for “safe elections” in six Georgia counties, as Ballotpedia reported.

All six counties voted for Hillary Clinton in 2016. Based on currently available public reports, it appears that no Georgia county that voted for Donald Trump in 2106 received a CTCL grant in 2020.

Breitbart News contacted CTCL and requested a list of all the counties in Georgia that received grants from CTCL in 2020, and specifically asked if CTCL provided grants to any county in the state that Donald Trump won in 2016, but has not yet received a response from CTCL.

In addition to the three metropolitan Atlanta counties of Cobb, Gwinnett, and Fulton, three counties outside of metropolitan Atlanta received CTCL grants in 2020.

Dougherty County, which received a $300,000 grant from CTCL, went overwhelmingly for Joe Biden over Donald Trump in 2020, 69.6 percent to 29.6 percent. Biden’s net margin in the county was 24,579 votes, compared to Trump’s 10,449. a differential of 14,130 votes in favor of Biden.

The Macon-Bibb County Board of Elections, which administers elections for Macon County and Bibb County, received a $557,000 grant from CTCL. Both counties went overwhelmingly for Biden over Trump in 2020.

In Bibb County, Joe Biden received 61.4 percent of the vote to Donald Trump’s 37.6 percent. In terms of vote total, Biden received 43,460 votes while Trump received 26,583 votes, a margin of 16,887 for Biden. In the less populous Macon County, Biden received 2,857 votes compared to Trump’s 1,783, a net vote margin of 1,070 in favor of Biden.
