Gunmen from a narco-terrorist cartel burned off the face of a rival and recorded the man’s agony as he begged for death. The Cartel Jalisco Nueva Generacion (CJNG) members burned the man’s face off as a way to mock his nickname, “Ghost Rider.”

The gory act of torture took place over the weekend near the town of Tepalcatepec, Michoacán where the CJNG is fighting against factions of Los Viagras and La Familia, known as Carteles Unidos. The fighting has occurred on and off for several weeks without any real action from Mexico City or state authorities. Both criminal organizations want control of drug production and transit routes from the Pacific coast into central and northern Mexico to the U.S. border.

The video was allegedly recorded following three days of gun battles in the nearby town of El Aguaje. The fighting took place one day after the Mexican military swept the area as part of a peacekeeping operation and officials declared safety. Breitbart Texas confirmed that at least 20 died during the three days of shootouts that followed.

After the clashes, gunmen from CJNG captured a leader with Carteles Unidos who went by the nickname Ghost Rider. The gunmen then used rubbing alcohol to set fire to his face as the victim screamed in agony and begged to be killed.

“Just like the movies, the Avenger Ghost Rider,” one of the gunmen can be heard in the video.

Large groups of gunmen using high-powered weapons including .50 caliber rifles, explosives, and armored vehicles take part in the regular clashes that often result in dozens of casualties. When state authorities do acknowledge the fighting, they undercount or simply do not report the number of deaths.

Editor’s Note: Breitbart Texas traveled to the Mexican States of Tamaulipas, Coahuila, Nuevo León, and other areas to recruit citizen journalists willing to risk their lives and expose the cartels silencing their communities. Breitbart Texas’ Cartel Chronicles are published in both English and in their original Spanish. This article was written by Jose Luis Lara, a former leading member who helped start the Self-Defense Movement in Michoacán.

Kamala Paints Picture of a ‘Harris Administration … with Joe Biden’ for Latino Voters

Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) may only be the vice presidential nominee on the Democrat ticket, but she is already promising that a “Harris administration with Joe Biden” will be a boon to voters.

The California lawmaker, whom the former vice president said he chose as his running mate last month because of her readiness “to lead on day one,” told a group of Latino small business owners from Arizona on Saturday that it was vital they made the right choice this November.

“As part of our Build Back Better agenda, we will need to make sure you have a president in the White House who actually sees you, who understands your needs, who understands the dignity of your work, and who has your back,” Harris said in a five-minute virtual address to the group, according to the Arizona Republic.

“A Harris administration together with Joe Biden as the president of the United States, the Biden-Haris administration will provide access to 100 billion dollars in low-interest loans and investments for minority-business owners,” she added:

Harris’ remarks come as some Democrat strategists continue to express concerns over Biden’s fitness and stamina for the presidency. Since jumping into the 2020 race, the former vice president has flummoxed many with his frequent gaffes and misstatements on the campaign trail.

The issue came to a head last week when a one-time White House stenographer, who worked exclusively with Biden during the Obama administration, told the Washington Free Beacon that the former vice president had deteriorated since leaving office.

“It is a complete difference from what he was in 2017,” the stenographer said. “He’s lost a step and he doesn’t seem to have the same mental acuity as he did four years ago.”

“He doesn’t have the energy, he doesn’t have the pace of his speaking,” they added. “He’s a different guy.

Pew: Hispanic Voters Rank Economy, Health Care as Top 2020 Issues

Hispanic voters rank economic well-being and health care as their top issues heading into the 2020 presidential election, while the issue of immigration is among one of their least pressing issues, a survey shows.

The latest Pew Research Center survey finds that 80 percent of Hispanic voters see the economy as their top issue going into the 2020 election, while 76 percent rank health care as their second most important issue.

The Chinese coronavirus crisis ranks as the third most important issue to Hispanic voters this election cycle, with 72 percent saying it is “very important” to their vote.

Among the least pressing issues to Hispanic voters are abortion, foreign policy, economic inequality, gun policy, and immigration. Less than 6-in-10 and, on some issues, less than 5-in-10 Hispanic voters said these issues were “very important” to their vote in November.

The survey debunks the widely held claim by the Republican and Democrat political establishments that national immigration policy sets the tone for Hispanic voters — many of whom are first, second, and third-generation Americans.

An infamous Republican National Committee (RNC) report following the 2012 election claimed that the only path to victory for the GOP was amnesty for 11 million to 22 million illegal aliens. In 2016, President Trump quashed the claim by winning on the most pro-immigration enforcement platform in recent history.

In the last few years, when Hispanic voters are polled on immigration issues, the majority tend to side with Trump’s pro-enforcement record that seeks to reduce foreign competition in the labor market.

Last year, for instance, Hispanic voters in the swing state of Florida said by a 74 percent majority that they support statewide, mandatory E-Verify to ban employers from hiring illegal aliens. In April, a survey by the Washington Post revealed that Hispanic Americans were the most supportive of any racial group of temporarily halting all immigration during the coronavirus crisis.

Did Biden destroy his chances when he made this promise?

By Andrea Widburg

Joe Biden’s presidential run is pathetic because it’s easy to see that his mind is giving out on him, something the majority of voters recognize. Biden’s presidential run is also scary because the hard leftists who surround him are using him as a Trojan Horse to advance their destructive socialist policies.

It’s these puppet masters who have pushed the formerly middle(ish)-of-the-road (and invariably wrong) politician to make extremist promises. Most people tend to ignore or downplay Biden’s more radical statements, seeing them as the kind of thing politicians say during campaigns. One ask to ask, though, whether we can afford to ignore Biden’s promise to use his executive office to shut down the entire country again should scientists recommend it.

During the Democrat presidential primaries, after the no-hopers dropped out, the remaining presidential candidates ran the gamut from left to communist, with most closer to the communist end. Biden claimed to be the moderate candidate in the race, and that’s how the Democrats are trying to sell him to the general public. After all, Joe’s been around since 1972, and he’s always been a Democrat stalwart, unlike Bernie Sanders, who’s also been around forever, but as a communist stalwart.

Nevertheless, throughout the campaign, even while claiming to be a moderate, Biden has signed on to every radical idea that the Democrat party has moved into the Overton window. He’s gone so far left that even Bernie approves:

Sen. Bernie Sanders said Joe Biden told him that he believes he can become the most progressive president since Franklin Delano Roosevelt.

“The reason I say that I think Biden has a chance to be the most progressive president since FDR is that is exactly what Joe Biden said to me,” Sanders, a former presidential candidate, said in an interview Wednesday on PBS’ “Amanpour & Company.”

“He understands the severity of this moment,” said Sanders.

To that end, Biden’s campaign has adopted most of Sanders’s principles or scooched as close to them as possible. Given a compliant Congress, Biden says that he would reinstate the public option of Obamacare, aim for net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050 (so we can all look like California), pay for college for families earning $125,000 or less per year, go in big for racial (in)justice, and, grant mass amnesty to illegal aliens along with opening the borders. Democrats appear willing to stomach all of these proposals.

The big question, though, is whether Democrats can tolerate Biden’s most recent commitment. He insists that, if the Wuhan virus doesn’t retreat and “the scientists” say so, he’ll use his executive power to lock down the entire country all over again:

Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden said he would close the United States down over the spread of the new virus from China if health experts recommended to do so.

“I would shut it down; I would listen to the scientists,” Biden, a former vice president, said in an interview with ABC News.

“I will be prepared to do whatever it takes to save lives because we cannot get the country moving, until we control the virus,” Biden added. “That is the fundamental flaw of this administration’s thinking to begin with. In order to keep the country running and moving and the economy growing, and people employed, you have to fix the virus, you have to deal with the virus.”

That is an insane promise. It ignores the fact that the virus has barely touched many states, while it raked through several poorly managed (and densely populated) Democrat-run states. It also pretends that there are no trade-offs for holding the virus at bay. People in Democrat states have watched their economies collapse; businesses close; people die from depression, suicide, substance abuse, and untreated diseases; their young people stop learning; their restaurants close; and their cities empty of businesses and high earners (aka, the entire tax base).

While leftists have been good little soldiers for the first round of shutdowns, aided in part by their extreme lack of perspective about the risks associated with the Wuhan virus, will they really be willing to become prisoners in their own homes once again? Will they be willing to see their economies get destroyed so badly that they can never recover? Will they accept all the unnecessary deaths that flow from preventing virus deaths?

I want to answer those rhetorical questions by saying, “I don’t think so.” Sadly, the left is so maddened by Trump Derangement Syndrome, the best that I can say is, “I hope not.” What I really hope to see happen is normal people vote in overwhelming numbers for Trump on November 3. If that happens, the leftists and those suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome slink back into the shadows where they belong.

Biden immigration plan would eviscerate Trump policies

Presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden revealed plans to undo all of the Trump administration's immigration policies if elected in November and vowed to provide a pathway to citizenship for millions of illegal immigrants.

BLOG EDITOR: THE REAL NUMBER OF ILLEGALS IN U.S. OPEN BORDERS IS UNKNOWN BUT ESTIMATED TO BE IN EXCESS OF 40 MILLION.

Approximately 11 million people who are illegally residing in the United States would be given a way to become U.S. citizens, the opposite of President Trump's 2016 campaign promise not to give "amnesty" to this demographic. People who worked in essential jobs during the coronavirus pandemic would have an advantage over other immigrants.

Biden's plan was heavily influenced by former campaign foe, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, who is
further left than Biden on the issue. The Biden campaign said its focus in reforming immigration policies, including refugee levels, asylum protocols, and detention center standards, is meant to bring in a new era of justice and law enforcement, countering "systemic racism" in the immigration system.

A Biden administration's first 100 days in office would include a halt on all deportations by Immigration and Customs Enforcement, but he would not abolish the federal agency, despite calls by more progressive lawmakers to do so. Biden would cut up ICE's contracts with for-profit detention facilities, which ICE uses to hold tens of thousands of detainees nationwide.

9. End the border wall and “provide a roadmap to citizenship for the millions of undocumented workers.” A Biden administration would stop the construction of the “unnecessary, wasteful, and ineffective wall on the southern border” — thus allowing an open border — while also giving voting citizenship to the eleven million-plus illegal aliens who are already here, permanently changing the American electorate and enshrining Democrats in power forever.

9 Radical Ideas in the Biden-Sanders ‘Unity’ Platform

9 Jul 20201,135

Former Vice President Joe Biden and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) released the policy recommendations of their “unity task force” on Wednesday.

The proposed platform marks Biden’s continued shift to the left, as the so-called “moderate” candidate — a label he has rejected — continues to be steered toward more radical positions to appeal to the party’s base, offering “revolutionary institutional changes.”

Here are nine of the most radical proposals in the “unity” document:

1. “Rejoin the Paris Climate Agreement … on Day One.” Even many on the left agree that the Paris Climate Agreement does little to slow climate change. It is a symbolic commitment by the rest of the world to reduce emissions, while most of the burden falls on the United States. Our economy has reduced emissions anyway on its own, thanks to the shift to natural gas and the advent of fracking technology, which the left hates and wants to phase out over time.

2. Shift the entire “fleet of 500,000 school buses to American-made, zero-emission alternatives” in five years. This is among the more wild-eyed proposals in the platform’s climate change section. It is not clear who will produce these buses (presumably to run on battery power), or what is to be done with half a million currently functional buses that run on ordinary fuel, and how local school districts are meant to afford the cost. The platform provides no further details.

3. “End cash bail.” The platform calls for eliminating cash bail across the country — a radical experiment in criminal justice reform that has only just begun in California and New York, with results that are deeply concerning. The idea is to reduce inequities, but in practice the end of cash bail means releasing violent criminals to commit more crimes. One suspect in antisemitic attacks in New York City late last year, for example, was repeatedly re-arrested after her releases.

4. “Stop the practice of arresting children for behavior that ought to be handled in the principal’s office.” The Democrats want to stop what they call the “school-to-prison pipeline,” arguing students of color suffer disproportionate suspensions and arrests (which would mean that liberal teachers are racist). But as Andrew Pollack points out, failing to arrest violent children could allow them to buy guns as adults, which is how the Parkland, Florida, shooting happened.

5. “We will repeal so-called ‘right to work’ laws.” It is not clear how Democrats will actually do this, since these laws are made at the state level. But “right to work” laws — freeing employees from being forced to join unions — have been a huge economic boost to states that have adopted them. Working-class Americans — especially minorities — have voted with their feet, moving from the highly unionized Rust Belt to the “right to work” South, where there are more jobs.

6. “Democrats will recognize unions with majority sign-up—via so-called ‘card check’ processes.” The “card check” violates the right to a secret ballot, and allows organizers to intimidate workers into voting to certify unions. The idea is so radical that even George McGovern, the left-wing Democratic presidential nominee in 1972 who lost to President Richard Nixon in a landslide, came out against it the last time Democrats tried to mandate it, in 2009.

7. “Oppose private school vouchers.” There is growing support for school vouchers that allow students to escape failing public schools in their local districts by choosing alternative schools — including private and religious schools. Vouchers are especially popular with minority families, who are desperate to escape the failing system in which the teachers’ unions have trapped their children. Democrats also want to restrict the expansion of charter schools, too.

8. Provide a “public option” toward universal health care. This idea was so radical ten years ago that Democrats left it out of Obamacare. But it is the beginning of “Medicare for All,” which Sanders wants to impose on everyone, and Biden wants to offer as a choice (for now). There is no thought of achieving universal health care outside government, building on the recent reforms under the Trump administration, such as tele-medicine — just more federal bureaucracy.
