Las Vegas man has been indicted in the 'thrill killing' of a sleeping homeless man and the shooting of a passerby walking his dog.

A Grand Jury on October 6 returned indictments against Noah Green, 21, charging him with murder with a deadly weapon, attempted murder with a deadly weapon on a victim 60 years or older, battery with a deadly weapon on a victim 60 years or older, destroying evidence and three counts of carrying a concealed weapon, reported the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

Green was arrested on July 18 not far from his apartment, located several blocks west of the Las Vegas Strip.

He was accused of killing 48-year-old Brent Lloyd, a homeless man, with a gunshot to the head July 13 on a sidewalk, in what police characterized as a 'thrill killing.'

The victim was shot in the head as he slept outdoors, and a jogger found his body outside an apartment complex and called 911.

Two days later, Green allegedly shot Wilbur Salibad in the chest without any provocation as he was walking his dog near the suspect's apartment complex. The man survived the shooting.

Police said Green did not interact with either victim but recorded the attacks on his cellphone, allowing him to view the shootings again and again.

After pulling surveillance video from the area, police began watching Green and tried to stop him after observing him leave his apartment and jaywalk.

Green ran away from police but was eventually caught and taken into custody.

Officers found the 9mm handgun in a paper bag in Green's pocket and his cellphone containing videos of Lloyd's killing and Salibad's shooting. According to his indictment, the suspect deliberately damaged his device at the time of his arrest in an attempt to destroy evidence.

Green is being held at the Clark County Detention Center without bail. He is due back in court for an arraignment on Friday afternoon.
