Report: West Wing Offices in Joe Biden’s White House Are Occupied Mostly by White People

WASHINGTON, DC - JANUARY 20: U.S. President Joe Biden prepares to sign a series of executive orders at the Resolute Desk in the Oval Office just hours after his inauguration on January 20, 2021 in Washington, DC. Biden became the 46th president of the United States earlier today during the …

An analysis of West Wing offices thus far handed out to senior advisers demonstrates that President Joe Biden’s innermost circle of aides with prized real estate in the building is mostly white.

Out of 22 offices on the first and second floors, only four offices, including one occupied by Vice President Kamala Harris, are held by nonwhite individuals. The rest — a supermajority of 18 such West Wing offices — are occupied by white people, according to Politico.

The report comes as Biden signed four executive orders on Tuesday focused on “racial equity,” remarking on the day of the signing that “deep racial inequities” exist in America and that “systemic racism” has “plagued our nation for far, far too long.”

Incidentally, of the 13 coveted first-floor offices that were identified, white people occupy 12 of them. See the outlet’s graphic, which it calls the “White House power map,” below:

Senior adviser Mike Donilon and counselor Steve Ricchetti have offices just a few steps from the Oval Office, while Annie Tomasini, director of Oval Office operations, and Stephen Goepfert, the president’s personal aide, flank the Oval Office’s north side.

Chief of Staff Ron Klain occupies the second-largest office to the Oval Office, which, as CNN notes, comes with a fireplace and outdoor terrace. Down the hall from Klain, also in spacious suites, are National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan and Harris, the vice president and sole racial minority to possess an office on the first floor.

The rest of the first-floor map includes Deputy Chiefs of Staff Bruce Reed and Jen O’Malley Dillon, press secretary Jen Psaki, Communications Director Kate Bedingfield, and senior adviser Anita Dunn.

Politico caveated that there are “still a few gaps,” and according to several reports, many people who would normally occupy desks within the powerful wing are instead working remotely or situated elsewhere on the White House campus because of coronavirus-related restrictions that Biden’s administration has implemented.

The other three racial minorities Politico identified — Director of Public Engagement Cedric Richmond, Domestic Policy Adviser Susan Rice, and Deputy Director of Public Engagement Adrian Saenz — are situated on the second floor, along with six white officeholders.

Despite the map indicating a relatively monochromatic makeup of the West Wing’s first- and second-floor elite, Biden’s administration has made it a goal to “advance racial equity” while in office.

One of his 17 day-one executive orders, for instance, involved reversing the Trump administration’s ban on federal agencies from conducting training that included “race or sex stereotyping or scapegoating,” a ban that was designed to counter concepts like Critical Race Theory. It also terminated the Trump administration’s 1776 Commission, which aimed in part to accurately report on the role of slavery in American history. Biden claimed it “sought to erase America’s history of racial injustice.”

The White House stated of the order that the entirety of government bears a responsibility to improve “racial justice.”

“Affirmatively advancing equity, civil rights, racial justice, and equal opportunity is the responsibility of the whole of our Government,” the White House statement read.

The four “racial equity” executive orders Biden signed Tuesday addressed that concept in the areas of federally-funded housing, private prisons, tribal sovereignty, and discrimination against Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders.

Biden, reiterating more specifically that every aspect of the White House bears responsibility for “advancing equity,” said Tuesday in a press conference of the orders, “Every White House component and every agency will be involved in this work because advancing equity has to be everyone’s job.”

The president added that he is “reaffirming the federal government’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and accessibility,” and concluded that the nation’s “soul will be troubled as long as systemic racism is allowed to persist.”

Biden’s press office did not immediately respond to Breitbart News for comment on the demographics of the president’s West Wing officeholders.

GOP Sens. Mitt Romney, Rob Portman OK Joe Biden’s Amnesty Chief

GOP Sens. Mitt Romney and Rob Portman joined with five Democrats Tuesday to allow President Joe Biden’s amnesty chief to get an up-or-down confirmation vote on the Senate floor.

The two GOP senators changed the result to a seven-to-four committee approval for Alejandro Mayorkas, putting him on a path to a narrow confirmation in the Senate. Once confirmed, he can use his extensive experience to write regulations that will implement many of Biden’s amnesty and cheap labor policies, regardless of what the voters or Congress prefer.

Those promised regulatory policies include a series of measures that will flood the college graduate labor market with myriad foreign visa workers.

Romney (R-UT) explained his vote for Mayorkas, who is expected to put many illegal immigrants on a fast track to green cards and citizenship:

He acknowledged to me that … he recognized that [his EB-5 intervention] was an error, that it created a concern within his organization and he lost credibility as a result of that. … People who identify errors, recognize them, and are willing to take a different course in the future, are people who I generally will support.

Sen. Rob Portman, (R-OH), who announced January 25 he will not run for reelection in 2022, explained his vote for Mayorkas:

This is a tough one — we do need to have someone in place and accountable … [In prior years] I found him to be someone that did listen to both sides. And in terms of policy orientation, I found him to be — as compared to other officials in the Obama administration — more toward the middle … So he’s going to be confirmed. The question is how quickly does he get in place, and do some of us say, “Okay, we’re going to vote for you but we’re also going to be watching.”

Both Romney and Portman suggested they might vote against Mayorkas’s confirmation in the floor vote.

If they do vote against Mayorkas, their votes likely will not matter because the Democrats can get 51 votes to win his confirmation.

“It is disheartening that the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee has normalized corruption to the point that they would vote to confirm Mr. Mayorkas as DHS Secretary,” said a statement from Rosemary Jenks, director of government relations at NumbersUSA. “Not only has he been proven corrupt [by the EB-5 scandal], he also has made clear that he believes himself to be above the law and not required to enforce it as Congress has written it. This is a dangerous precedent for the Department of Homeland Security.”

Democrats downplayed the EB-5 scandal and dodged the amnesty and labor issues. Instead, they portrayed Mayorkas as a modest, non-partisan bureaucrat who will help stabilize the nation’s cyberdefenses and deal with domestic security concerns. Sen. Gary Peters (D-MI) said:

Our nation is facing historic security challenges, right now, from the recent attack on our capital, two major cyber-breaches of our federal agencies, and a pandemic that continues to take the lives of thouands of Americans every day. These are serious challenges, and we need steady qualified and experienced leaders at DHS to address them.

The five GOP senators who voted against Mayorkas were Sens. Ron Johnson, James Lankford, Josh Hawley, and Rick Scott, and Rand Paul. Paul’s vote did not count because was not in the room.

The GOP senators who spoke against Mayorkas focused their criticism on his decision in 2011 to override bureaucrats’ rejection of citizenship-for-sale EB-5 deals that involved top Democrats. For example, Johnson said:

This investigation had 15 [whistleblowers]. That so many individuals were willing to step forward and tell us what happened is evidence of deep resentment about Mr. Mayorkas’ actions related to the EB -5 program. The letter go on: “Their allegations were unequivocal: Mr. Mayaorkas gave special access and treatment to certain individuals and parties. They told us he created special processes and revised existing policies in the EB-5 program to accommodate specific parties. According to employees, but for Mr. Mayorkas’ actions, the career staff would have decided these matters differently.

This focus on Mayorkas’s EB-5 decisions allowed the GOP senators to dodge the much bigger issue of how Biden’s unpopular immigration policies will damage the employment and income of many millions of blue-collar and white-collar Americans.

Sen. Rick Scott, (R-FL), used his speech to denounce Biden’s policy of loose border security — but also to endorse legal immigration:

I’ve been very clear as a member of the committee what is important to me when it comes to the position of DHS secretary: It is securing the border, fixing our long-broken immigration system by prioritizing legal immigration, and finding a permanent solution to DACA and TPS … Florida is an immigration state. We love immigration, but it has to be legal …

If Congress wants to find genuine consensus and permanent solutions, we have to start with securing the border, protecting American workers, and implementing safeguards against bad actors and those seeking to break our laws. I cannot support nominees and policies that will erase the gains we have fought for when it comes to securing the border.

Since immigration was expended in 1990 by President Gorge H. Bush, the huge infusion of foreign migrants has gradually reduced the GOP’s clout in Congress as various states turn blue and elect Democrats. This demographic change has converted several GOP states — California, New Jersey, and Virginia, for example — into Democratic strongholds.

On January 5, 2021, the demographic change finally put 52 GOP senators out of their jobs.

On that day, two wealthy GOP senators lost their seats in Georgia — so forcing the remaining 50 GOP senators out of their jobs as members of the Senate majority.

Democrats are now using that GOP loss to grab more power. For example, Biden’s amnesty bill calls for putting at least three million illegal migrants into the polling booths in 2024.

MEXIFORNIA IS THE DEMOCRAT-CONTROLLED STATE WITH THE HIGHEST TAXES AND THE MOST ILLEGALS.

"If the racist "Sensenbrenner Legislation" passes the US Senate, there is no doubt that a massive civil disobedience movement will emerge. Eventually labor unions can merge with the immigrant civil rights and "Immigrant Sanctuary" movements (UNIDOus) to enable us to either form a political party or to do heavy duty reforming of the existing Democratic Party. The final steps is to elect our OWN governors of all the states within Aztlan (formerly the United States)."

Joe Biden Considers Abolishing Most ICE Detention of Criminal Illegal Aliens

FLORENCE, AZ - FEBRUARY 28: Immigrant detainees walk through the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), detention facility on February 28, 2013 in Florence, Arizona. With the possibility of federal budget sequestration, ICE released 303 immigration detainees in the last week from detention facilities throughout Arizona. More than 2,000 immigration detainees …

President Joe Biden is considering ending most Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detention of criminal illegal aliens, according to a report.

On Tuesday, billed as a “racial equity” agenda, Biden announced that he would instruct the Bureau of Prisons (BOP) to end its contracts with privately-managed prisons that hold more than 14,000 convicts — nearly all of which are foreign nationals.

In addition, the open borders lobby is urging Biden to end ICE’s contracts with privately-managed detention facilities which hold the overwhelming majority of criminal illegal aliens for the agency. Sources close to the Biden administration said the idea is being floated around the White House.

Politico reports:

President Joe Biden is considering an executive order to phase out government contracts with private immigrant detention facilities, multiple sources with knowledge of the process say. But he has no immediate plans to issue such an order and the White House would only say that it “will take additional action in the future relating to the detention of undocumented immigrants.”
[Emphasis added]

Two advocates told POLITICO that, as of Tuesday, they did not believe an order would ultimately materialize. The White House plans to roll out other immigration-related executive actions later this week. In a briefing on Tuesday, Susan Rice, the director of Biden’s domestic policy council, said that the order pertaining to private prisons is “silent on what may or may not transpire with ICE facilities.” [Emphasis added]

Currently, more than 14,000 detainees are in ICE custody.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) is pushing the Biden administration to sign such an executive order, writing in a post that “we must include ending for-profit immigrant detention & examine the use of for-profit services that squeeze families of the incarcerated in public prisons, too.”

According to the most recent totals provided to Breitbart News, more than 80 percent of illegal aliens in ICE detention are held in privately-managed facilities. Their abolishment would mean less detention space for ICE and in return would force fewer arrests and a drop-off in deportations.

Already, Biden has signed executive orders to relax interior immigration enforcement and halt deportations of all illegal aliens, unless they are convicted of aggravated felonies. The deportation order has been stopped by a federal judge after Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton filed a lawsuit.

Biden’s order, which came in the form of a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) memo, mandates that ICE agents only arrest illegal aliens who have been convicted of aggravated felonies, are known or suspected terrorists, or those apprehended at the U.S.-Mexico border after November 1, 2020.

Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) Director of Policy Jessica Vaughan notes that the Biden order means that ICE can only arrest, detain, and deport “at most” about 15 percent of the nation’s illegal alien population.

“This is the part that is enticing more migrants to the border,” Vaughan wrote in a post.

15 Migrants Arrested in Human Smuggling Attempt on California Coast

CBP Air and Marine Operations agents assisted other law enforcement agencies in apprehending 15 migrants after a boat landing on the coast of California.

A multi-agency effort ended with the arrest of 15 migrants being smuggled in a small boat off the coast of California, according to information obtained from U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials.

A U.S. Coast Guard maritime patrol aircraft spotted a panga-style vessel that made landfall near Goleta, California. The group began to scatter once they reached the beach.

Border Patrol agents and ICE Homeland Security Investigations agents — including members of the Los Angeles Border Enforcement Security Taskforce — arrived on the scene and began a search for the fleeing migrants.

The search concluded with the successful arrest of 15 migrants. An immigration interview identified the migrants as ten adult males, one juvenile male, and four adult females. Officials reported two of the men were Venezuelan nationals. The others were all identified as Mexican nationals. All 15 had no documents for legally being present in the United States, officials stated.

The multi-agency operation included CBP Air and Marine Operations and Office of Field Operations agents and officers in addition to the agencies mentioned above. Local police officers assisted in the operation by providing perimeter security.

Border Patrol agents transported all 15 migrants to the station for processing and removal under Title 42 Coronavirus protection protocols from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

This protocol, which leads to about 90 percent of migrants being removed within about two hours remains in place during the Biden administration — so far — CBP officials told Breitbart Texas.

Roughly 14.5 million illegal aliens live across the United States, costing American taxpayers about $134 billion every year, a new study reveals.

An annual study released by the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) finds that the illegal alien population in the U.S. has grown by at least 200,000 since 2019 and has cost taxpayers an additional $2 billion since last year.

Though the number of illegal aliens in the U.S. has increased, the FAIR study states that growth among the illegal alien population has slowed over the last year because of the Chinese coronavirus crisis and because of former President Donald Trump’s “Remain in Mexico” policy, which stopped the practice of border crossers being released into the interior of the country.

“As many as 60 percent of all new illegal aliens in any given year are those who have overstayed visas,” FAIR researchers write. “Thanks to a timely travel freeze implemented by the Trump administration to stop the spread of the virus, far fewer people entered the United States in recent months, so far fewer people had the opportunity to overstay their visas.”

The growth of the illegal alien population and its fiscal burden on taxpayers has been enormous over the last decade, though. In 2010, for instance, FAIR estimated the illegal alien population stood at just over 11 million, indicating a more than 31 percent increase in the population in just ten years.

(Federation for American Immigration Reform)

(Federation for American Immigration Reform)

The study found that most illegal aliens in the U.S. tend to live near the southern border or in states that offer expansive sanctuary protections that shield them from arrest and deportation by federal immigration officials.

“The ten states with the largest estimated illegal alien populations account for just under three-fourths (71%) of the national illegal alien total,” the study states.

Most significantly, the study details the federal government’s ineffectiveness to properly count the illegal alien population — including the annual total of those who illegally cross U.S. borders and visa overstays.

“In truth, we do not know exactly how many people cross the border unlawfully and evade immigration authorities,” the researchers note. “We can only estimate these figures based on how many individuals U.S. Customs and Border Protection and Immigration and Customs Enforcement believe slip through their detection.”

The study comes as President Joe Biden is easing interior immigration enforcement by only prioritizing the arrest and detainment of those convicted of felonies and seeks a halt to deportations for at least 100 days.

Biden has also proposed an amnesty for nearly the entire illegal alien population, a policy that would add millions of foreign nationals to the U.S. labor market at a time of mass unemployment where 18 million Americans remain jobless.

Every year, the U.S. gives green cards to about 1.2 million legal immigrants and another 1.4 million visas to foreign nationals. The nation’s mass legal immigration process is in addition to hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens who successfully crossed the border or overstay their visas annually.
