A New York City driver who was out on bail for allegedly committing attempted murder was caught dragging a police officer with his car Friday, according to a video.

The video, released by the New York Police Department (NYPD), showed the officer conducting a routine traffic stop. When the officers determined the driver was unfit to operate a motor vehicle, they asked him to step out of the vehicle.

At that point, the suspect placed the car in reverse, running over the officer who stopped him, according to the video.

The suspect, identified as Takim Newson, was driving in Brooklyn when the NYPD stopped him for being double-parked and having tinted windows, the police told Fox News.

The NYPD said Newson (pictured) was slurring his speech and admitted to smoking marijuana before the officers stopped him.

The officer suffered minor injuries, including bumps and bruises on his legs and back pain. He received treatment at a local hospital and was then released.

The 32-year-old suspect then allegedly broke into a Queens home and threatened a 66-year-old woman by pretending he was armed.

After the alleged burglary, Newson then carjacked a Jaguar sedan, police said.

Police later arrested him in Suffolk County, Long Island, after the stolen car’s license plates triggered a license plate reader, the New York Post reported.

In addition to the attempted murder charge, Newson also faces charges of burglary and assault on a police officer, police said.

Newson was arrested this month on attempted murder charges at his mother’s home in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, after he fled New York City for allegedly attempting to rob a bar and shoot a person in the groin on Valentine’s Day.

Prosecutors ordered that he be held in custody pending trial, but a judge released him without bond despite Newson’s lawyer requesting a $50,000 bond.

NYC Mother Charged with the Murders of Her Newborn Twins

A mother in Queens was charged Friday with the murders of her six-week-old twins at their apartment, police said.

According to the New York Post, “Danezja Kilpatrick was hit with multiple counts of murder, acting in a manner injurious to a child, and criminal possession of a weapon,” police told the outlet.

“Kilpatrick’s infants — Dakota and Dallis Bentley —  were found at about 3:10 p.m. Thursday during a police wellness check at an apartment in the Woodside Houses at 51st Street at 32nd Avenue,” the report said.

The boy was found inside a crib and had what appeared to be stab wounds, police sources told the outlet.

When officers asked Kilpatrick about the girl, “She pointed towards the sink,” NYPD Housing Chief David Barrere said Thursday during a press briefing.

The girl was found wrapped in a pink blanket beneath the kitchen sink, according to police and sources.

The babies were pronounced dead at the scene, the Post article said, adding the mother reportedly told officers when she was taken into custody, “I can’t take it anymore.”

“It hit hard because I was crying last night when I heard it. They innocent babies. They didn’t deserve that,” Nicole Bickett, a neighbor and mom to three children, told CBS New York.

Officers got to the scene after Kilpatrick’s cousin called 911 due to concern about the babies.

Sources alleged Kilpatrick said, “I do not want them,” when police arrived to perform the wellness check, the CBS report continued:

Police recovered a knife from the scene and took Kilpatrick, 23, in for questioning. According to sources, Kilpatrick has an extensive psychiatric history in Yonkers, where she recently moved from. Police records show she was accused in at least one domestic violence incident involving her sister.

The exact cause of death for the babies is being determined and officials said they were born on March 7. The investigation into the case is ongoing.

BLM Co-Founder Calls for ‘Abolished’ Criminal Justice System After Floyd, Bryant Deaths

Black Lives Matter co-founder Patrisse Cullors posted a video to her Instagram page Thursday saying people must “fight” for an “abolished” criminal justice system after the murder of George Floyd and police-involved shooting of Ma’Khia Bryant.

She did say that the verdict in the Derek Chauvin trial for the murder of George Floyd was a “victory in accountability” but not a victory in getting rid of the criminal justice system.

“While we watched Derek Chauvin be convicted for murder, a black child named Ma’Khia Bryant was murdered by police, proving there is no justice. We must fight for abolition because in an abolitionist world, we would still have George Floyd and Ma’Khia Bryant,” Cullors wrote in her Instagram post.

She said in the video that activists must “fight for more” and “get us closer to a place where there are no jails or prisons or surveillance” in the U.S.

A jury found Chauvin guilty of all charges Tuesday for murdering Floyd after he kneeled on Floyd’s neck for several minutes during an arrest in Minneapolis in May 2020.

Jut minutes before Chauvin’s conviction, Bryant was fatally shot by a police officer after brandishing a knife in Columbus, Ohio.

Cullors has recently come under scrutiny for buying four homes worth a grand total of $3 million while she was promoting her activism.

Cullors pushed back against those claims in an April 16 interview, saying that there is no conflict of interest with her left-wing politics and ownership of four homes because she was providing for her extended family.

Black-owned businesses trapped in the Minneapolis no-go zone where George Floyd was murdered by a police officer are pleading for, among other things, help from police, reports the New York Post:

Black merchants near the once-thriving corner of 38th Street and Chicago Avenue said police have abandoned the blocked-off intersection, creating a dangerous autonomous zone that has seen crime spike and business evaporate.

“The city left me in danger,” the owner of Smoke In The Pit restaurant told The Post Thursday.

“They locked us up on here and left us behind,” said the merchant, who asked to be identified only as Alexander W. for fear of reprisals.

“They left me with no food, no water, nothing to eat,” Alexander told the Post. “The police, fire trucks, can’t come in here.”

Welcome to one more Democrat-run city more interested in pushing lies about systemic racism than actually fulfilling its primary obligation: keeping its citizens safe and ensuring they can freely go about the business of living their lives and making a living.

The Post reports that the no-go zone is empty of consumers. Hardly any customers come anymore because they know it’s unsafe and are likely to be harassed (or worse) by the left-wing terrorists in Black Lives Matter and Antifa, not mention the criminals and gangs who roam free without fear of police.

“The black-owned businesses say they have lost 75-percent of their business since the Floyd memorial sprouted up shortly after his death” and “feel they have been the sacrificial lambs” at the hands of a Democrat-run city.

One of the terrorists who oversees what’s called “George Floyd Square,” an area that is literally blockaded, dismissed concerns of the business owners and residents, and added this: gang members “keep us safe in their own way.”

Imagine living and trying to do business like this for more than a year. It’s outrageous and only hurting the very people – black Americans – Democrats claim they want to help.

But Democrats have no interest in helping anyone other than themselves — and if every Blue City in America has to be burned to the ground in order to hide the fact that Democrats cannot handle the most basic tasks of governing (and nothing is more basic than keeping people safe) – they will see to it that those cities burn.

Minneapolis has been governed by Democrats for more than 40 years. Republicans are so outnumbered they have no say whatsoever in how the city is run, and look at what’s happening to this once great metropolis, the once great Twin Cities.

As bad as I feel for the victims of this no-go zone, it seems fair to ask what they intend to do about it. Will they vote for change, or will they vote more of the same? Will Minneapolis continue to cast their votes based on stupid issues like systemic racism that have nothing to do with the basics of governing (snow removal, filling potholes, safety, garbage pickup), or will they finally wise up and focus on quality of life issues?

Truth be told, I don’t really care. Out here where I live, in Rural America, we all own guns and have no gun violence or a violent crime crisis. People out here of all races and creeds live together in peace without any racial tensions. Our air, water, and streets are safe and clean.

You get what you vote for, so I’m just curious how long the people of Minneapolis are going to vote for race riots, arson, violence, despair, bad policing, and looting.

Democrats to Americans: Screw you

A serious question: How is it that any Democrats ever get elected to national office? Cheating now leaps to mind, but, other than that? Their policies fly in the face of the beliefs and values of a distinct and measurable majority of Americans. But they don’t even care about the poll numbers.

  • Most Americans are adamantly against defunding the police, African Americans included. Most Americans are against Democrat plans to pack the Supreme Court.
  • Most Americans are against leaving their border(s) open and rewarding those who choose to come here illegally by giving them free goods and services.
  • Most Americans are against the concept and practice of unlimited immigration.
  • At least a slight majority of Americans realize that abolishing the oil, gas, and coal industries and enacting the Green New Deal will destroy their nation’s economy and dramatically worsen their lives-- and those of their descendants. And:
  • Most Americans do not believe man-caused global warming/climate change is an existential threat to their country or the planet as a whole.
  • The large majority of Americans are against late-term and “after-birth” abortions.

Etc., etc., etc.

And Democrats seemingly reply, “Frankly, Americans, we don’t give a damn!”

And they somehow end up in office, anyway.

Who should be “pushing back,” Maxine? Who should be taking to the streets in protest, Kamala?

Has Joe Biden Committed Impeachable Offenses?

At the end of President Trump's first term, congressional Democrats impeached and tried the president, and the one and only article of impeachment was for “incitement of insurrection.”

The focus of this charge was a statement made by the president telling the January 6th rally attendees that, "if you don't fight like hell, you're not going to have a country anymore”, the operative word there being “fight.”  Of course, the assumption was the definition of the word fight can only include physical violence.  The House managers must have never heard anyone say, “I’m going to fight this cancer with all my energy.”  They certainly did not anticipate the president’s counsel playing video showing Kamala Harris, Elizabeth Warren, Chuck Schumer and certain impeachment managers using the word “fight” and not being charged with anything.  The implication was that the president encouraged and incited violence at the Capitol, one of the results of which was the murder of a Capitol police officer.  This charge was specifically included in the article.  We know now it was a lie and there was no evidence then to make such a charge.

The constitutional text covering impeachment requirements includes the phrase “high crimes and misdemeanors.”  The generally accepted viewpoint is that this describes any serious abuse of power, including legal and illegal activities.  Any civil officer can be impeached for misconduct, violation of oath of office, or serious incompetence.

Joe Biden, in the early days of his presidency, issued executive orders stopping the construction of the border wall and the Keystone pipeline.  Regarding the pipeline, this order put Americans out of work with the justification being the claim by so-called environmentalists that pipelines cause irreparable harm to the landscape, the animal kingdom, and the climate.  This argument was used decades ago regarding the Trans Alaska pipeline.  One notable claim was that the West Arctic caribou herd would be endangered.  The fact is that since the pipeline was completed, the herd is now four times larger. While this fact alone may say nothing about Joe Biden, it does tell us that his reason for killing American jobs is based on lies.  I would say this qualifies as serious incompetence. We will call this Article 1.

It is clear to everyone that a completed border wall will go a long way toward the goal of stopping massive illegal entry into our country, a goal shared by all sovereign nations that understand the purpose of an established border.  The prime responsibility of a president as head of the Executive branch is to enforce federal laws.  Failure to do so violates the oath of office and is clearly an example of serious incompetence.  Here we have Article 2.

Also, on day 1 of his presidency, Biden issued an executive order requiring everyone on federal lands or in federal buildings to wear a face mask.  Daniel Horowitz explains that masks are designated as experimental medical devices.  Vaccines and face masks have only been allowed for use by the FDA via the Emergency Use Authorization.  The law covering these devices states, “Federal law governing the conditions of authorization of unapproved emergency medical products (21 U.S.C. §360bbb–3(e)(1)(A)(ii)(III)) requires the secretary of HHS to "ensure that individuals to whom the product is administered are informed," among other things, "...of the option to accept or refuse administration of the product."   Stated simply, masks are experimental medical devices and as such their use cannot be required.  I am fairly sure that violation of federal law qualifies as misconduct, violation of oath of office, and serious incompetence -- a trifecta and Article 3!

Most recently, the president announced his desire for a guilty verdict in the Chauvin trial saying, “I'm praying that verdict is the right verdict, which I think it's overwhelming, in my view. I wouldn't say that unless the jury was sequestered now."  So, the head of the executive branch, whose job is to enforce the laws, (and to leave judging guilt or innocence to a different branch) has entered judicial branch territory by deeming the verdict he is dreaming about to be the correct one.  This is misconduct at the very least, with oath of office violation and serious incompetence thrown in for good measure.

Using racist math, we’ve now have a total of four Articles of Impeachment.  That is a pretty good start.

If we want to be thorough, we must consider Maxine Waters for impeachment as well.  As noted earlier, President Trump was impeached for incitement of insurrection.  Auntie Maxie went to Minneapolis to tell reporters and a crowd of protestors, if the former police officer isn't found guilty of murdering Floyd, "We've got to stay on the street and we've got to get more active, we've got to get more confrontational. We've got to make sure that they know that we mean business."  Waters said she was "hopeful" Chauvin would be convicted of murder, but if he wasn’t, "we cannot go away."  I think urging a mob to commit violence, masked as “being confrontational,” is greater evidence of incitement than Trump using the word “fight.”  Congressional representatives are also subject to impeachment, so I offer Article 1 for the impeachment of Maxine Waters.

But now, as I snap back to reality, it is obvious to me and anyone who has inhabited the planet for more than two days that neither of these two will face impeachment, thanks to the current makeup of the House of Representatives.  But until Joe Biden issues an executive order banning them, I can at least dream.

Portland Police Declare Riot After Antifa Vandalize more Businesses

Portland Police Bureau officials declared an “Autonomous Demonstration” to be a riot after protesters began vandalizing businesses and forcing their way into an occupied restaurant.

A social media post called for an “Autonomous Demonstration” at Couch Park in Portland, Oregon, on Friday night. The post called for demonstrators to “Bloc Up” — a call to wear black bloc to “make it difficult for police to identify lawbreakers,” police officials stated.

As demonstrators began blocking roadways, smashing windows, painting graffiti, and forcing their way into at least one occupied restaurant, police declared the incident to be a riot and ordered protesters to leave, Fox 12 Portland’s Drew Marine tweeted.

Police say rioters attacked one resident who attempted to film their march by throwing a rock through the homeowner’s window.

Much of the anger of the rioters appeared to target Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler who recently extended the city’s state of emergency order following the conviction of former Minneapolis Police Officer Derek Chauvin.

“F**k Ted Wheeler,” demonstrators shouted as they marched past a restaurant and through the streets.

Police officials say officers made two arrested — Jacob A. Camello, 29, and Crystal M. Miranda, 29. Both face charges of Criminal Mischief in the First Degree, the report states. Camello reportedly also had items in his possession to facilitate criminal mischief.

BLM Protesters Shutdown Oklahoma Legislature amid Protest Bill Debate

Dozens of Black Lives Matter protesters marched into the Oklahoma House of Representatives chamber on Wednesday to stop the debate of several bills being debated. The marchers shut down the session forcing the House and Senate to lock their chambers.

More than two dozen Black Lives Matter protesters swarmed into the Oklahoma House of Representatives chamber on Wednesday, the Daily Mail reported. Marchers loudly chanted their protest of several bills including one designed to protect people being attacked in their vehicles during protests.

Officials with the Oklahoma House and Senate locked their chambers to re-establish order after security cleared the protesters.

Protesters marched against bills being considered by the legislature including one that protects drivers from being attacked by protesters blocking the roadway. The bill, HB1674 ENR.PDF (state.ok.us), now passed by the legislature and signed by the governor, provides protection from lawsuits against or prosecution of a driver who unintentionally strikes protesters with their cars during protests. The bill also increases penalties for blocking roadways during protests, Fox News reported.

Marchers were also angry over what they perceive as anti-trans legislation and a bill to protect law enforcement and their families from “doxxing.”

Oklahoma state troopers used a K-9 through the House gallery “to make certain nothing was left behind” by the protesters, KOCO’s Dillon Richards tweeted.

Governor Kevin Stitt signed the bill on Wednesday, The Oklahoman reported.

“This is an important protection for citizens who are just trying to get out of a bad situation,” State Representative Kevin West (R-Moore) told the local newspaper. “When fleeing an unlawful riot, they should not face threat of prosecution for trying to protect themselves, their families or their property.”

BLM UK Warns Minneapolis Police Dept ‘Would Not Have Survived’ If Chauvin Acquitted

Black Lives Matter UK has warned that the Minneapolis Police Department “would not have survived” if former police officer Derek Chauvin had not been convicted for the murder of George Floyd in the United States.

“The Minneapolis Police Department would not have survived if the verdict had gone any other way. The American establishment did not want another summer of Black rebellion,” said Malcolm Baker, a spokesman for Black Lives Matter UK, in comments reported by the i, in reference to former police officer Derek Chauvin’s conviction for second-degree unintentional murder, third-degree murder, and second-degree manslaughter in connection with the death of George Floyd.

While the history of race relations in the United Kingdom and the United States is quite different, BLM UK maintains that “the UK is not innocent” — a signature rallying cry of Britain-based activists — and insists that “Police violence is not U.S. specific.”

“Here in Britain, on average one person a week has died in police custody, prisons or borders since 1990,” Baker claimed to the i, referring to figures which encompass deceased persons of all ethnic backgrounds, including native white Britons.

BLM UK notes “there have been 1500+ deaths in custody since 1990 and 0 convictions” as an issue, yet also rejects the importance of actually convicting individuals. As Baker says, attacking institutions themselves is the actual goal as “convicting the individuals responsible will not end this violence”.

“The Black Lives Matter movement is putting the whole system on trial, and until we replace state violence with community-led safety and care, we will continue to see those in power abusing Black and working-class communities,” Baker vowed.

What “community-led safety and care” would entail is not entirely clear, but it is unlikely that it would involve anything resembling modern police forces, judging by the messaging on the verified Twitter account for Black Lives Matter UK.

This features a number of digital posters calling to “DEFUND THE POLICE AND INVEST IN COMMUNITIES” and declaring that “‘BAD APPLES’ COME FROM ROTTEN TREES”, for example.
