WILL MEXICO ELECT ALL FUTURE PRESIDENTS? - THEN WHY ALL THE ENDLESS HISPANDERING? - Former DHS Official: Democrats Encourage Human Trafficking Because ‘They View Migrants as Future Democratic Voters’

He allowed almost 67,000 people across in May, including almost 30,000 people from countries other than Mexico, Honduras, El Salvador, and Guatemala. He also allowed 91,000 people across in February and March, pushing Mayorkas’ total to 156,000 in three months.

Lora Ries, former acting deputy chief of staff at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), told Breitbart News on Thursday that the Biden administration, Democrat Party, and broader left enable human trafficking across the U.S.-Mexico border because they view incoming migrants from Central and South America as future Democrat voters.

Customs and Border Protection observed 185,000 “got aways” thus far in the federal government’s current fiscal year, Ries noted. The federal government defines a “got away” and “an unlawful border crosser who – (A) is directly or indirectly observed making an unlawful entry into the United States; (B) is not apprehended; and; (C) is not a turn back.”

“As a comparison, in all of fiscal year 2020 there were 69,000 got aways, so just seven months into this fiscal year, we are already triple that number,” she noted on SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Daily with special guest host Jerome Hudson. “The [number of] illegal immigrants who CBP  is encountering continues to go up. The April numbers are more than 178,000 illegal aliens. That’s a 944 percent increase over April from last year.”

She continued, “These numbers are just shocking. They are historic. They are record-breaking, and anyone with eyes to see can watch people flowing over every single day in daylight. It’s quite bold, and clearly, the border is not secure. It is not closed, no matter what this White House says or no matter what Secretary Mayorkas says.”

LISTEN:

Transnational criminal cartels are beneficiaries of the status quo of illegal immigration, Ries noted.

“The smuggling cartels are some of the cruelest human beings on this earth, and they are now making $20 million a day. The abject failure by the left on this — the legislation then I referenced earlier based on giving all sorts of benefits to unaccompanied alien children as they come here — is under the heading of preventing trafficking of women and children, so clearly they are failing at this.”

She went on, “They continue to entice children and family members to send their kids unaccompanied or for parents to bring their kids on this dangerous journey. Secretary Mayorkas continues to say he will not turn back unaccompanied alien children. So this is just going to continue. While the left claims they are for fighting sex trafficking and protecting women and children, they’re doing the exact opposite.”

Ries noted that migrant children are politically exploited by Democrats and the broader left in pursuit of their demographic goals.

She remarked, “When we comment about the children — that is the story, here — it is heartbreaking, and it is perverse. The left has built this entire system, illegal system, on the backs of unaccompanied alien children. This goes back to legislation they passed in 2008. This is now the third spike of unaccompanied alien children, and the Democrats refuse to undo what they broke.”

“It’s absolutely intentional,” she added. “The administration is four months in and the numbers continue to go up. They know what has worked in the past, yet they chose to stop those programs for politics. They view these migrants as future Democratic voters, so it is all about power for the left.”

Ries is now the director of the Center for Technology Policy and a senior research fellow for Homeland Security at the Heritage Foundation.

Poll: Majority of Swing Voters Oppose Biden’s Surge of Refugees to U.S.

The majority of swing voters oppose President Joe Biden’s increase of refugee resettlement to the United States, a Morning Consult/Politico poll shows.

After the refugee lobby and Democrats denounced Biden’s original plan to keep the Trump-set refugee cap of 15,000 admissions for Fiscal Year 2021, the administration reversed course and announced they would boost the cap to 62,500 admissions.

The cap is merely a numerical limit and not a goal for the State Department to reach. Already, in the month of April, Biden has increased refugee resettlement by 904 percent compared to the same time last year.

The poll reveals that 52 percent of swing voters, those who identify as Independents, said they opposed Biden’s increasing refugee resettlement while less than 3-in-10 swing voters said they supported the move.

Among Trump supporters, expansive refugee resettlement to the U.S. is opposed by a wide majority. Overall, 84 percent of voters who supported Trump in the 2020 presidential election said they opposed an increase in refugee resettlement — 73 percent of which said they “strongly oppose.”

Only seven percent of Trump supporters said they supported increasing refugee resettlement.

Similarly, nearly 8-in-10 registered Republican voters said they oppose increasing refugee resettlement and just 10 percent said they support increasing the annual cap.

Across all registered voters, a plurality of 47 percent said they oppose Biden’s increasing refugee resettlement while 37 percent said they support the move.

Refugee resettlement to the U.S. is a boon for nine federal contractors who have a vested interest in ensuring as many refugees are resettled as possible because their annual federally-funded budgets are contingent on the number of refugees they resettle.

Those contractors include:

Church World Service (CWS), Ethiopian Community Development Council (ECDC), Episcopal Migration Ministries (EMM), Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society (HIAS), International Rescue Committee (IRC), U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants (USCRI), Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Services (LIRS), U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB), and World Relief Corporation (WR).

Over the last 20 years, nearly one million refugees have been resettled in the country. This is a number more than double that of residents living in Miami, Florida, and would be the equivalent of annually adding the population of Pensacola, Florida, to the country.

Refugee resettlement costs American taxpayers nearly $9 billion every five years, according to research, and each refugee costs taxpayers about $133,000 over the course of their lifetime. Within five years, an estimated 16 percent of all refugees admitted will need housing assistance paid for by taxpayers.

The poll was conducted from May 7 to 9 and included 1,994 registered voters. The margin of error of +/- 2 percentage points.

Joe Biden to Welcome DACA Illegal Aliens to White House for Amnesty Push

President Joe Biden will welcome illegal aliens eligible and enrolled in the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program to the White House on Friday to make a legislative push for a massive amnesty plan.

The White House confirmed that Biden will meet with six DACA illegal aliens in the Oval Office to lobby Congress to pass a series of amnesty bills that would provide most of the roughly 11 million to 22 million illegal aliens living in the United States with green cards and, eventually, American citizenship.

NBC News reported:

The individuals Biden will meet Friday underscore the administration’s argument for enshrining that executive action into law, highlighting essential workers in fields like education, agriculture and health care.

“This is an opportunity to send that message that this is a priority for us,” a White House official said. [Emphasis added]

Welcoming DACA illegal aliens at the White House is only the latest effort by Biden to get the House and Senate to pass an amnesty plan that would pack the U.S. labor market with millions of newly legalized foreign workers even as 16.4 million Americans remain jobless.

Last month, in his first address to a joint session of Congress, Biden asked lawmakers to pass his amnesty plan, which Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL) admitted in March “doesn’t have support” in Congress.

Analysis of the Biden amnesty revealed the plan would import a foreign-born population nearly the size of California by 2031 as nearly 12 million illegal aliens would have taken advantage of the amnesty provisions by then. Overall, the Biden amnesty would likely bring more than 37.3 million foreign nationals to the U.S. as it doubles current legal immigration levels and gives out more than a million green cards annually.

Biden is also seeking passage of two amnesty plans which passed out of the House in March — one that could provide amnesty to 4.4 million illegal aliens and another that would give green cards to about 2.1 million illegal aliens working on farms.

The amnesty push is being spearheaded by corporate interests such as the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the Koch brothers’ network of donor class organizations, as well as former President George W. Bush.

As Breitbart News reported, Bush, joined by the Koch-funded Americans for Prosperity, the refugee lobby, the Chamber, and the Business Roundtable, is lobbying Congress to increase legal immigration levels by claiming it will end illegal immigration at the U.S.-Mexico border. In addition, the coalition is urging Congress to pass amnesty.

Fact Check: DHS Chief Mayorkas Falsely Claims the ‘Border Is Closed’

The White House
Volume 90%

CLAIM: Homeland Security chief Alejandro Mayorkas claimed May 11, “The border is closed.”

VERDICT: FALSE. Data released by Mayorkas later on May 11 showed he and his deputies admitted more than almost 67,000 migrants at the border.

In a White House press event on May 11, Mayorkas was asked:

On a separate issue, Secretary Mayorkas, we have cameras today in Texas that are showing humongous groups of dozens or hundreds of migrants walking right into the country. So, I’m curious what you meant last week when you said, “The border is closed.”

Mayorkas answered:

What I meant is precisely that: The border is closed. We are expelling single adults and families under the Title 42 authority that rests with the Center for Disease Control. And we decided, as an administration, in furtherance of the President’s direction to administer our immigration laws of this country in an orderly and safe and humane way, that we will not expel unaccompanied children.

Later that day, Mayorkas released the May border numbers, which show he is allowing many migrants into the United States, regardless of the impact on Americans.

He allowed almost 67,000 people across in May, including almost 30,000 people from countries other than Mexico, Honduras, El Salvador, and Guatemala. He also allowed 91,000 people across in February and March, pushing Mayorkas’ total to 156,000 in three months.

In the four months since February, officials working for President Donald Trump admitted 32,000 people.

However, Mayorkas is a lawyer, and his definition of “open borders” in the nation’s complex immigration laws may allow him to find legal excuses for allowing the entry of economic migrants or to regard the admitted migrants as still under the control of border agencies. “We are enforcing the laws in a smart and effective way,” Mayorkas told a Senate hearing on May 13.

For example, advocates for migration say the current inflow of migrants is legal because their status in the United States is conditional and may be ended by courtroom judges who deny their requests for asylum.

Yet the immigration court process is hugely backlogged because of prior waves of migrants, including migrants who arrived while Mayorkas was working as a top immigration official for President Barack Obama. This years-long delay means migrants can expect to work and live in the United States for several years before their claims for asylum are rejected and for years longer as their rejections are appealed to more judges.

Also, roughly 19,000 migrants into the United States were released by Mayorkas without a “Notice to Appear” document that registers the migrants in the nation’s immigration-enforcement system.

Moreover, Mayorkas has sharply constricted deportation priorities by effectively barring the deportation of people unless they commit major crimes. His enforcement rules allow people to walk away from the immigration process with little fear of being deported. At least 11 million people are already living illegally in the United States.

Mayorkas is also encouraging illegal migration by not flying young people back to their distant homes after they are caught trying to sneak across the border. Instead, he returns them to the five-yard line in Mexico without punishment, so they can try again to sneak into the United States. Roughly 200,000 migrants have sneaked into the United States since October, including perhaps 45,000 in May, sources tell Breitbart News.

Mayorkas is declining to use a court decision that would allow him to stop the coyote-delivered entry of so-called “unaccompanied” youths and children into the United States. Most of the children are work-ready teenage boys, and many are the children of illegal aliens now living in the United States.

He has the legal option of telling his border officers to reject requests for asylum processing by migrants whom they judge to be economic migrants. Instead, Mayorkas has reduced the role of these “credible fear” interviews.

Mayorkas is also using the legal option of parole to bring thousands of legally deported migrants back into the United States. That is just one of several legal side-doors into the United States that Mayorkas is trying to open.

He is also changing agency rules to help migrants get free legal services from U.S. pro-migration legal groups.

More fundamentally, Mayorkas favors migration into the United States and frequently argues that the United States is a”Nation of Immigrants,” regardless of the damage to Americans’ wages, housing, schools, society, and political power.
