BLACK LIVES MATTER - THE UGLY TRUTH - IT'S NOTHING BUT A CORPORATE BRIBES SUCKING HOAX - REMINDS YOU OF AL SHARPTON AND JESSE JACKSON'S CRAP

Black Lives Matter looks like it's falling apart

After being lionized in the press, and drawing in tens of millions of dollars from giant corporations desperate to prove their bona fides to its racial-grievance bandwagon, Black Lives Matter seems to be falling apart.

That's a pretty reasonable conclusion to reach, given there don't seem to be any positive stories about the group coming out in the press anymore.

They're all tales of scandal, corruption, and exploitation, not surprising in an organization that's been flooded with such a tidal wave of money and run by "trained Marxists."  There are a lot of these stories.

It probably started with the mother of Breonna Taylor, a young woman who died in a police shooting, who criticized the organization for its exploitative ways.  That may have surprised some people, but her argument was logical and believable: she said the organization not only did nothing to help the rest of Taylor's family, but raised millions of dollars for itself through the use of her daughter's name, while sharing none of its largesse.  Classy.

Then there were the mansions.  Lots of mansions, with internet wags arguing that BLM stood for "buying large mansions."

Self-described "trained Marxist" Black Lives Matter founder Patrisse Cullors reportedly went on a mansion-buying binge, buying three or four mansions — reportedly in Compton, Georgia; Los Angeles; the Bahamas; and tony Topanga Canyon, uphill from movie-star Malibu.  She claimed it was off her own book and Hollywood earnings, which could have been true.  But she also spent cash on Malibu conferences and spa stays, which were on BLM's dime.  The publicity didn't help her group, given that she moved to a nearly all-white rich neighborhood, Marxism in tow.  Her Hollywood wheeler-dealer activity prompted a comical dogfight at the Golden Globes, with one old leftist foof, a guy who earlier had blacklisted actor James Woods for being conservative, likely because she was able to play the Hollywood game better than they did.  I wrote about that here.

These weren't her only activities that raised eyebrows: she funneled money to her baby daddy, more than $150,000, to a man who apparently couldn't even create a credible website, let alone a credible internet video.

When she was forced out from her position after news of these shenanigans broke, she insisted she was off to bigger and better Hollywood things, and the whole criticism of her was little more than a right-wing campaign.

It was nonsense.  Right-wingers have been criticizing her from the beginning — whatever criticism going on now was water off a duck's back.  The big tell was in reported frustration from other Black Lives Matter chapters — which, according to press reports, grew and grew and grew.

Another negative story that came up was that a Black Lives Matter activist was shot in London — not by the white supremacists BLM is constantly warning about, but by five black men involved in some kind of gang activity.

And over in Wisconsin, it was a full-blown hate crime hoax. According to the Post Millennial:

BLM activist claimed she was the victim of hate crimes including arson—video shows she started the fire

A student at Viterbo University in La Crosse, Wisconsin, claims she had been the victim of racist incidents, including arson. However, police discovered that the alleged victim of framed hate crimes was the one caught on surveillance video starting the fire in the university's residence hall.

Meanwhile, these dissatisfied BLM chapters were not without problems of their own.

In the last few weeks, there's been this guy:

MINNEAPOLIS, MN — There are any number of routes for an appeal for former Minneapolis officer Derek Chauvin, a couple of which we've previously outlined, including refusal of the judge to order a change in venue, as well as  his refusal to sequester the jury.

However this may be the straw that breaks the camel's back. One of the jurors who decided Chauvin's fate turns out to be a Black Lives Matter activist who lied to the judge by claiming he was "impartial."

According to Gateway Pundit, Brandon Mitchell, also known as "Juror #52" not only lied about his ability to be impartial, but has now come out and said that people need to get on juries to "spark some change."

And this guy:

Black Lives Matter St. Paul Founder Says He 'Resigned' After Learning the 'Ugly Truth'

And this guy

Denver School Board director-at-large Tay Anderson, a fervent Black Lives Matter activist, is accused of molesting over 60 undocumented students, using the residency status of the children to target kids as young as 14-years-old.

Is there any part of Black Lives Matter that isn't involved in some kind of mess?  These kinds of things happen to organizations circling the drains, the constant drumbeat of scandals.  Not surprisingly public support for the group has plummeted, even among black voters.  The group seems to be spiraling downhill, and nobody's reporting it.

California, a Free State, Launches Commission to Study Reparations for Slavery

California Gov. Gavin Newsom and other state leaders addressed the opening of California’s Task Force to Study and Develop Reparation Proposals for African Americans on Tuesday, stressing the historic importance of the commission.

California entered the union as a free state in in 1850, where slavery was not allowed. Nevertheless, Newsom signed a bill into law last year to study the idea of reparations for slavery for black Americans, using a nine-member commission.

Newsom provided a recorded address, and Attorney General Rob Bonta also addressed the meeting, among others.

A statement on Bonta’s website declares: “The institution of slavery is inextricably woven into the establishment, history, and prosperity of the United States.”

Newsom said that the commission was the outgrowth of the unrest that erupted across the nation a year ago, after the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis, Minnesota, at the hands of police. He said that the commission was an opportunity to “move toward a more equal California.”

Secretary of State Shirley Weber said that the topic of reparations in California was relevant because of the 100th anniversary of the Tulsa race massacre in Greenwood, Oklahoma, where a middle-class back community was attacked on June 1, 1921

“We were denied an opportunity to prosper in this nation,” Weber said. “What does it feel like to live in a country that never says, ‘I’m sorry’?” she added.

She concluded that “the racism of this country has created an environment that allows … injustice to occur,” and said that racial injustice had continued, making it necessary for California to set an example.

The nine-member commission is largely African American; there did not appear to be any white or Hispanic members.

California’s Department of Justice is supplying staff resources to assist the commission in its ongoing inquiries.

State Sen. Steven Bradford (D-Gardena) said that California had a moral obligation to provide reparations, even though it was never a slave state, because, he claimed, African Americans were treated as harshly in California as they were in the post-Civil War South.

A homeless man charged with a hate crime for allegedly punching an Asian woman in Manhattan’s Chinatown on Monday has 17 previous arrests, police said.

“The incident happened in front of 65 Bayard Street around 6:15 p.m., when authorities say the 55-year-old woman was punched in a random and unprovoked attack,” ABC 7 reported.

New York State Assemblymember Yuh-Line Niou shared the surveillance video of the incident dated Monday and claimed she received it from a constituent.

The video showed the woman, wearing a pink shirt and white hat, walking down the sidewalk.

A man wearing an orange hoodie then approached and appeared to hit her in the face. When she stumbled backward and fell to the ground, several bystanders came over to help her.

WARNING – GRAPHIC VIDEO:

The woman was taken to a local hospital with an injury to her face.

The suspect, Alexander Wright, 48, was taken into custody and charged with assault as a hate crime, assault, and criminal possession of a controlled substance.

He was transported to Bellevue Hospital to undergo a psychiatric evaluation.

According to police, Wright was arrested on May 10 regarding two incidents on the Upper East Side, the ABC article continued:

First, around 10 a.m., he allegedly threw an object through the front window of Judson Reality at 1065 Madison Avenue. Then, just before 10:30 a.m., he claimed a 36-year-old man and his family was following him before confronting the man at East 72nd and Madison Avenue and scratching his left eye. He was charged with criminal mischief in the first incident and assault in the second.

Authorities say he was also wanted for a January 17 incident for allegedly throwing a hot cup of coffee at a traffic agent and her partner at West 42nd Street and Fifth Avenue in Midtown. He charged with that incident when he was arrested on May 10.

Altogether, Wright has 17 prior arrests that include other alleged assaults.

During an interview on Tuesday, New York City Police Department (NYPD) Commissioner Dermot Shea spoke of an incident when a 65-year-old woman was pushed down the stairs in one of the city’s subway stations on Friday.

“What’s the common denominator?” Shea questioned, adding, “People that are arrested multiple, multiple, multiple times and released.”
