White House press secretary Jen Psaki dodged a question Monday about if President Joe Biden believed a 15-week unborn baby was human.

“Does the president believe that a 15-week-old, unborn baby is a human being?” a reporter asked Psaki during the daily White House press briefing.

“Are you asking me if the president supports a woman’s right to choose?” replied Psaki, dodging the question. “He does.”

Biden’s support for abortion in all stages, despite claiming to be a devout and faithful Catholic, has recently resurfaced in the news after the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) voted to clarify the guidelines for pro-abortion politicians receiving communion.

“Joe Biden is a strong man of faith and as he noted just a couple of days ago, it’s personal,” Psaki said, adding that the president did not “see it through a political prism.”

“That’s how many Americans feel as well,” she added.

Psaki also ignored follow-up questions about Biden’s struggle with the USCCB over the issue of abortion.

“I think we’re going to move on to the next question, because I’ve just answered that, and it’s personal,” she said.

On Friday, Biden challenged the bishops on the issue.

“I don’t think that’s going to happen,” he said to reporters at the White House.

Meghan McCain: Biden Is ‘Doing Grave Spiritual Harm to Himself and Harm to This Country’ by Supporting Abortion

Meghan McCain told her co-hosts Monday on ABC’s “The View” that because President Joe Biden supports pro-choice legislation, he is “doing grave spiritual harm to himself” and to the United States.

The panel was discussing the Catholic Bishops who voted to advance guidance that would deny President Joe Biden from receiving communion in light of his support for abortion rights.

McCain said, “When it comes to the separation of church and state, the onus is on the government, not the church. The church is always going to try to impede every possible way they can and influence every way they can. Everybody’s spiritual journey is their own personal journey. I don’t try to proselytize my journey and other people’s. If you are a devout Catholic, as President Biden claims to be, abortion is a cardinal sin that can do deep spiritual harm to you, and President Biden had been supportive of the Hyde Amendment up until 2019 when he decided to run for president.”

She continued, “I remember when it happened having a conversation with a friend of mine who was close to him saying, for me, this is a deep paradigm shift for how I view President Biden because if he is for the federal funding of abortion, and I know the women on this show disagree with me, but as far as I’m concerned, abortion is murder, and that means the government funding of killing of the unborn. We have to, as pro-lifers, fight for the lives of the unborn. That is a doctrine as old as the Catholic church itself. So he has to choose. His official stance, by the way, is he’s personally opposed to abortion but doesn’t feel he has the right to impose this view on the rest of the country. For someone who claims to be pro-life, I never understand this argument.”

McCain added, “It’s ultimately up to the church, but he’s walking a very fine line here, and ultimately, all of these issues are literally life and death for Catholics, for devout Christians. And he’s going to have to ultimately talk to his creator when the time comes as we all do and reconcile his politics with his personal faith, and I believe he’s doing great spiritual harm to himself and harm to this country.”

A number of Catholic Bishops advanced a document last week to clarifying who is worthy of receiving Holy Communion. The move has led to speculation the clarification is in response to a number of Democrats taking pro-abortion stances while claiming to be faithful to Catholic doctrine. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and President Joe Biden, who both claim to be devout Catholics and take communion, yet hold pro-abortion policy positions, are two examples.

During the daily briefing at the White House Monday, Press Secretary Jen Psaki was asked about the situation and said President Biden's faith is personal, not political.

"Joe Biden is a strong man of faith and as he noted just a couple of days ago it's personal. He goes to church as you know nearly every weekend. He even went when we were on our overseas trip. It's personal to him. He doesn't see it through a political prism and we aren't going to comment on the inner workings of the Catholic Church," Psaki said. "Again, the President's faith is personal. It's something that has helped guide him through some challenging moments in his life and that's how many Americans see their faith as well, not through a political prism. So I would suspect he would continue to attend church as he has for many many years."

Further, Psaki was asked if Biden believes a 15-week-old unborn child is a human being. She deferred to talking points about a "woman's right to choose."

Biden was asked about the resolution late last week and said he doesn't believe it will impact him.
