Two law enforcement sources with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) expressed concern about policies enacted by the Biden administration that limit their ability to enforce existing laws. The sources raised the alarm over the release of criminal aliens into the United States and on the limitations placed upon them as it pertains to arresting fugitives who are illegal aliens subject to immediate removal.

In Del Rio, Texas, an ICE agent, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, says the number of criminal aliens being released onto the streets is beyond belief. On Friday, the source says, one migrant released from the local jail, who is a citizen of Mexico, previously deported from the United States, was set free into the United States. Rather than being returned to Mexico, as was standard practice before the new Biden administration policy, the source says, “We just turned him loose.”

“The man is an illegal alien; he has no claim to be in or remain in the United States and no relief from deportation,” the agent explained. “It’s a no-brainer. We normally just reinstate the removal order and be done with it.”

The criminal alien arrested had just served a six-month concurrent sentence for possession of methamphetamine and solicitation of prostitution, the agent explained.

“Prior to January, this man would have been swiftly removed to Mexico — only blocks away from the jail,” he added. “I don’t have a crystal ball and I cannot tell you who will or will not hurt someone in the future, but we mostly arrest criminal aliens. Most of our arrests come straight out of jail. Guess what, many are released right onto the streets,” the agent says.

The source says this is becoming an all-too-common practice.

“We are arresting fewer criminal aliens than ever in our agency’s history,” the agent stated. “I don’t know what it will take for people to wake up and see what potential danger this will cause in the future.”

According to the source in Del Rio, ICE agents are being told not to expend resources to remove migrants who do not have violent felony convictions or pose a risk of terrorism. The source says being a criminal is now a benefit. An adult migrant caught crossing the border illegally would be swiftly removed to Mexico according to the source. “If that same illegal alien commits a crime and goes to jail, we will release him after his sentence is completed. Crime pays I guess,” he explained.

Another ICE source in Houston, who is not authorized to speak to the media, informed Breitbart Texas that four teams of fugitive operations group agents have been limited to one case every two to three weeks due to the Biden administration’s desire to deport fewer migrants. The fugitive teams, consisting of one supervisor and four team members, ranked as the number three group in the nation when it comes to fugitive criminal alien arrests in previous years.

Now, according to the source, the twenty ICE agents are arresting only eight fugitives per month due to the agency’s priority enforcement memorandum issued shortly after President Biden took office. The source says, “Our guys don’t even want to come to work anymore. They view this as dereliction of their duties and, for some, they believe this is a criminal act.”.

The source says a contract detention facility for ICE in Conroe, Texas, is being paid for housing 600 migrants arrested by Houston ICE Agents. Normally, prior to January, nearly all beds were occupied by migrants awaiting removal from the country. Now, the source says, due to the limitations placed upon them by the Biden Administration, only two beds were being occupied one week ago.

The source says, “That’s over $60,000 we are wasting every day in bed space and meals. It is a perishable commodity that we could use if they would only let us do our job.”

DEL RIO, Texas — Some residents are extremely concerned about the continuous flow of migrants in their community. One man, Joe Bernard, worries about his family’s safety. Joe lives less than a mile from the Rio Grande, near a busy crossing point for Haitian and Venezuelan migrants. His family was recently stopped by some in the middle of a roadway.

Bernard’s wife recounted the incident. When traveling home last Friday, she says a group of five stopped her near the family home. “One of the men walked in front of my vehicle and laid flat across the road to make me stop,” she added.

“I was terrified, there were two other men and a female with a baby, I was barely able to swerve around them and not run over the man in the street.”

Joe’s wife says she had just witnessed a similar incident a few moments earlier when another driver was approached by several migrants demanding he halt.

The frustration was heavy in her voice as she ultimately argued: “This comes from the highest level of government–they don’t care one bit about us.”

Due to severe overcrowding, Border Patrol in the Del Rio Sector began to release migrants almost immediately with a “Notice to Report (NTR).” The document advises the mostly Haitians and Venezuelans to report to the nearest immigration office upon reaching their destination of choice.

The NTR replaces the Notice to Appear, an administrative charging document that begins removal proceedings once filed with the Executive Office for Immigration Review. The completion of this casework is time-consuming and results in the overcrowding–forcing the early releases.

Although a practice to speed releases in the Rio Grande Valley was instituted earlier this year for similar reason, the effects are much more noticeable in a small, west Texas town.

The migrants, however, appeared to be in good spirits as they made their way to the local bus stop. One family was thrilled to be working their way to their ultimate destination. Meelios, his wife Samantha, and their young daughter quietly waited for the next ride out of town.

Meelios recounted his more than two-year journey to the United States. He says he left Haiti in 2018 aboard a ship destined for Panama. From there, he and his wife traveled to Chile, where his two-year-old daughter was born. The family’s journey took them on to Nicaragua and through Central America before Mexico and eventually Texas. He says friendly people and odd jobs sustained the family.

Tucson Sector Border Patrol agents apprehended 26 migrants in the Tabletop Mountains after received a 911 distress call. In a separate incident, agents apprehended a previously deported felon attempting to sneak back into the United States.

Casa Grande Border Patrol Station officials received a 911 distress call on June 2 regarding a group of migrants lost in the Tabletop Mountains about six miles south of Interstate 8, according to information provided by Tucson Sector Border Patrol officials.

Casa Grande Station agents and a Border Patrol Search, Trauma, and Rescue (BORSTAR) team began a search and rescue operation. Officials requested assistance from CBP Air and Marine Operations Tucson Air Branch and the Arizona Department of Public Safety, officials stated.

The search and rescue team located the migrants. Border Patrol agents began immediate treatment for several of the migrants suffering heat-related illnesses. Helicopter aircrews flew four of the migrants suffering severe dehydration to a local hospital.

Sector officials reported temperatures in the area on Wednesday reached in excess of 95 degrees Fahrenheit.

In a separate incident, Tucson Sector Border Patrol agents apprehended a previously deported criminal alien.

Agents patrolling the area near Topawa, Arizona, encountered a migrant who illegally crossed the border from Mexico. During a background check, agents identified the man as Andres Pablo-Carrillo, a Guatemalan national.

All apprehended migrants undergo a biometric background investigation during processing. A criminal records check revealed that a court in Oakland, California, previously convicted Pablo-Carrillo for gross vehicular manslaughter.

MEXICAN'S CONSIDER THEMSELVES A RACE. THEY ARE THE MOST RACIST SUBCULTURE IN THE WEST.

Lopez’s mother, Margarita Lopez, also reacted to the encounter, stating, “For me that’s not fair. That’s something for racists.”

A student at Asheboro High School in Asheboro, North Carolina, was denied his diploma on Thursday after wearing a Mexican flag over his graduation gown at the commencement ceremony.

“I just gotta represent — I did it for my family. They came over here to give me a better future,” explained Ever Lopez of why he showed up to his graduation ceremony wearing a Mexican flag, according to a report by the Courier-Tribune.

In a video posted to Twitter by Lopez’s cousin, Adolfo Hurtado, the student can be seen stepping up onto the stage when his name is called.

The principal, however, didn’t hand over the diploma, and instead spoke to Lopez quietly, as a line of students waited behind him. Moments later, Lopez walked off stage without his diploma in hand.

Watch Below:

“I myself was very upset, and I had to contain my emotions because we’re in a public area,” Hurtado said. “We had a lot of people with eyes on us.”

Asheboro City Schools said that the denial of Lopez’s diploma was not due to the Mexican flag in particular, saying in a statement that the ordeal was due to the student being out of dress code.

“The heart of the issue is the fact that the student did not follow the established dress code for the event and detracted from the importance and the solemnity of the ceremony,” the statement read. “Our dress code is in place to ensure the dignity of the event is upheld and is fair to all students. Graduation is a milestone event and it is grossly unfair for one individual to diminish this event by violating the dress code.”

Asheboro High School principal Penny Crooks emailed students ahead of the ceremony, explaining the dress code, directing male students to wear a dress shirt and dress pants, and female students to wear a dress, skirt, or dress pants, adding that flip flops and sneakers are prohibited, reports the Courier-Tribune.

The report added that while the email states clothing should meet the school district’s dress code policy, the dress code policy doesn’t mention flags being prohibited.

Principal Crooks reportedly said Lopez can receive his diploma if he apologizes for the incident.

“I ain’t apologizing for nothing,” Lopez told the Courier-Tribune. “It’s you who should be apologizing. You’re the one doing wrong.”

Lopez’s mother, Margarita Lopez, also reacted to the encounter, stating, “For me that’s not fair. That’s something for racists.”

By 3:00 p.m. on Friday, Lopez still hadn’t received his diploma. The student’s mother, however, said she received a call from the school, and that she is setting up a meeting next week to discuss the situation.

The school reportedly offered to meet Lopez’s mother on Friday, but she preferred to wait until she could have a translator before attending the meeting.

On Friday afternoon, a group of about 30 protesters gathered outside Asheboro High School, wielding signs, which read, “Free Ever’s Diploma,” and “Honk if You’re Not Racist.” Others draped Mexican flags over their shoulders.
