California law gives the attorney general broad authority over law enforcement matters. But aides to Ms. Harris said that in these and other cases, she hewed to the state Justice Department’s hands-off policy, not interceding in officer-involved shootings unless the local district attorney had a conflict of interest or there was “obvious abuse of prosecutorial discretion.”

This one is particularly rich: Kamala Harris, our no-show southern border czar, has staked out the position that somehow climate change is responsible for causing the overwhelming influx of illegal aliens to the south. Kamala Harris: The last Democrat holdout arguing against voter I.D.
Democrats, even the crazy ones such as Stacey Abrams, have backed away from their call for zero photo I.D. in order to vote. Their argument that black people are incapable of getting I.D. is essentially racist. More important, from their point of view, the voters are squarely are not in their tree. Voter I.D. is a common-sense measure practiced in all civilized countries and voter polls support it. They still want to win in 2022, so they've moved away from that stance like a bad smell from a backed-up sewer.
But Kamala Harris is still swimming in it, and gave an amazingly stupid defense of zero-I.D. to vote in an interview with BET:
As you can tell, she's no longer saying that blacks are too mentally feeble to obtain any valid official identification such as a driver's license which is what Democrats, true to their Jim Crow roots, did until recently.
She's now saying that rural America is a wasteland and voters have absolutely no access to Kinkos.
Which is false. Kinkos, to take but one example, (and it's an obsolete one, given that the name was dropped in 2008), is now part of the gargantuan FedEx empire with approximately 2,000 locations spread across the U.S. alone. These places are well-quipped with photocopiers, and offer copying services to the public. (Anecdote: I used to use the FedEx Kinkos in Beverly Hills to copy class materials, and was once credited with saving a major film production after a big-name scriptwriter accidentally left his flash drive with the only copy of the movie script in one of the self-serve copiers and I turned the thing in). Besides FedEx, rural America also has access to thousands of UPS locations, which is FedEx's rival.
Better still, Fedex in 2018 announced that it would be opening 500 outlets at WalMarts across America.
Is Kamala trying to tell us that rural America has no access to WalMarts? Apparently, she's never been there.
Which is comical, given that New York Times blowhard columnist. Tom Friedman, just a few months ago, was proposing Kamala to serve as the Biden czar to rural America, because she deserves "a more important job." Kid you not. Given Kamala's background in Canada and in radical left-wing college towns, sound like a perfect match? These days, Friedman's coeval, Ezra Klein, says no, she needs to be moved down to kiddie-table jobs.
Here's another problem with her proposal for zero-voter-I.D.:
People don't need to go to FedEx or Kinkos, or UPS to get photocopies.
According to the National Conference on State Legislatures, voters generally in most states bring the I.D. in person and the bureaucrats checking them make the photocopy right there. Photo I.D. is generally checked at the polling station if voters are voting in person.
There are various ways photo I.D. to vote is validly done to prevent fraud, according to NCSL's charts and listings. None involve mailing in a photocopy of some kind of I.D.
Why would anyone accept a faded Xerox copy of a photo I.D. that can be photocopied over and over, presumably for mail ballots, with no concern about watermarks or authenticating measures? What Harris is ignorantly describing sounds like an additional means to fraud, actually.

Somehow, Kamala Harris, who is currently occupying the office of the Vice President, never got the memo. As usual. She’s always a day late and a dollar short . . . not to mention, out of touch, tone deaf, politically inept, and “completely wacky.”
Poor old Kamala is truly the outcast in the Biden administration; Democrats know that she can’t compete even in a Democrat presidential primary let alone in a contest against President Trump, her staff hates her, her off-putting cackling has to be reined in, and the Biden admin set her tasks that she mangles because she’s inept, in way over her head, and her staff hates her.
The writer, who goes by the pseudonym "Fuzzy Slippers," believes that the Democrat change of heart may be a bid to set the stage for vaccine passports, which could be true.
I think the conventional wisdom is more like it, though, that the move toward voter I.D. is just the result of the Democrat reaction to the polls.
It may be that Kamala is there to shore up the Democrat base, whose base of power is hugely dependent on voter fraud. Or it may be that she's just ignorant, always behind the curve. Whatever it is, she's persistently out of step with Democrat gaslighting measures claiming they were always in favor of voter I.D. She just holds tight to fantastical claims, old stereotypes, and discredited lies.
VP Harris Announces $25M DNC 'Voter Protection Team'
(CNSNews.com) - "Today I am pleased to announce that the Democrats are making a $25 million investment to expand the "I Will Vote" campaign," Vice President Kamala Harris told a gathering at Howard University in Washington, D.C., on Thursday.
She said the campaign funded by the Democrat National Committee is grounded in the belief that everyone's vote counts.
"And we saw this in 2020. More Americans turned out to vote than ever before in the middle of a pandemic. America, you masked up; you mailed in your ballots; you did not let anything stop you from making your voice heard."
Democrats, pleased with the record turnout that gave them control of all three branches of government in 2020, are determined to retain relaxed, pandemic-induced election rules that may make it easier to vote, but also make it easier to cheat.
Harris on Thursday used her speech to spread the Democrat talking points that Republican states are now trying to suppress the vote by passing laws that are intended to enhance election security by correcting some of the flaws that surfaced in 2020, particularly regarding universal vote-by-mail.
"So far this year, 17 state legislatures have enacted 28 new laws that will make it harder for Americans to vote," Harris said. She noted that another 400 bills are pending in state legislatures.
This all is designed, I believe, to make it harder for you to vote -- so that you don't vote.
And let's talk about what exactly these laws will do: What will they actually do?
Well, let's say in the last election you may have voted early 'cause you work long hours. Well, these laws will cut early voting.
Let's say your cousin voted by mail to avoid the long lines. Well, these laws will cut vote-by-mail.
Say your co-worker -- say the friend next to you, the "friend" -- voted in person on Election Day and put on that sticker with pride. Well, these laws will make it difficult for folks who wait in line.
These laws create obstacle upon obstacle. These laws make it harder for you to vote, because they don't want you to vote.
(Harris, in her voter suppression argument, did not mention voter ID requirements, of which a majority of Americans approve, according to polls. And the various laws she mentioned do not eliminate early voting; in some cases, early voting is expanded. Nor do the laws eliminate vote-by-mail or absentee voting, but they may tighten the procedure for mailed ballots and/or ballot drop boxes. As for the difficulties of waiting in line, the Georgia law says self-serve water and snacks may be furnished for voters, but poll workers and activists may not offer anything that may be construed as buying votes.)
$25M 'voter protection team'
Harris assured her audience that their vote matters, regardless of "who you are, where you live, what party you belong to."
"And so I say, don't let anybody ever take your power from you."
Harris plugged voting "rights" legislation now pending in Congress. And she mentioned "another important component... and that is, mobilizing to ensure Americans vote in the elections coming up ahead."
Harris said it may seem like it’s too early to talk about the midterm elections. "But folks, it is never too early to defend your rights. So with these new laws that have been passed, or they're trying to pass, we have to start now, to finish strong," she said.
Harris said the $25-million Democrat effort will register, educate, turn out, and protect voters.
“People say, what's the strategy? Well, I just outlined it," Harris cackled. "We are going to assemble the largest voter protection team we have ever had to ensure -- to ensure that all Americans can vote and have your vote counted in a fair and transparent process."
She said it's not about Democrats or Republicans, but "all Americans."
According to the DNC, in addition to voter registration efforts, Democrats will:
-- continue to use litigation as a tool to protect voters and to support our democracy.
-- commit millions to television and digital advertising, especially digital communications, to better educate voters on how to participate — how to register and where and when to vote.
-- use data and technology to identify and contact voters affected by suppression efforts and voter roll purges, to ensure that all eligible voters have the information they need to cast a ballot.

“I’m undocumented … I can’t vote …What can we do during this election to help make sure that we get you elected?” asked Astrid Silva, who was brought into the United States as a child by her illegal migrant parents.
“You can tell people who can vote what life is like for you now, and what life can be like,” Vice President nominee Harris told the Nevada-based political organizer who runs the pro-amnesty Dream Big Nevada group, adding that:
We are committed to shutting down private detention centers and ending policies that have been about separating children from their parents at the border.
Harris’s comments may be a coded message to would-be illegal migrants and their supportive legal-immigrant relatives.
For example, if implemented, Harris’s promise to start “shutting down private detention centers” could cripple border enforcement. If the enforcement agency does not have commercial prisons to hold detainees prior to their asylum hearings, the agency would be forced to release waves of job-seeking migrants into the U.S. labor market.
Similarly, Harris’s promise to end “policies … about separating children” echoes the media-magnified demand by pro-migration activists that officials release migrant mothers and children when they cross the border. That demand would let migrant families freely travel to relatives — including their illegal migrant husbands and fathers — who are working illegally in the United States.

Like Biden, Harris pushed the Cold War “Nation of Immigrants” claim, even though only about 10 percent of people in the United States are legal immigrants:
We want to have a president who understands we are a nation of immigrants. This is a country that was built and that has derived its strength from immigrants coming here over the generations.
Harris also tried to blur the legal and civic differences between illegal migrants, legal immigrants, and American citizens. For example, she told Silva:
Define who you are, and you tell the world who you are. Don’t let anybody ever put you in a box because they have a limited perspective on who can do what and who can be one.

We are all in this together. And so, chin up, shoulders back, right? We speak our truth and know that there will always be people applauding and supporting that even if you can’t see them at that one moment, know that there are so many of us who are supporting your leadership and the power of your voice. It’s really important.
Harris also claimed President Donald Trump vilified immigrants: “We’ve seen under the current president the kind of vitriol, the kind of hate, the vilification of immigrants in such a horrible way.”
But a Washington Post poll showed in April that Latinos are the strongest advocates for a near-total halt to legal immigration during the coronavirus epidemic and economic crash.
Biden’s 2020 plan promises to “reassert America’s commitment to asylum-seekers and refugees,” wipe out Trump’s asylum reforms, bar any deportations for 100 days, and end migration enforcement against illegal aliens unless they commit a felony.

Biden also wants to let companies import more visa workers, let mayors import temporary workers, and allow an unlimited flow of foreign graduates through U.S. universities into white-collar jobs. Biden would “exempt from any cap [the] recent graduates of Ph.D. programs in STEM fields.”
Biden also wants to accelerate the inflow of chain migration migrants and dramatically accelerate the inflow of poor refugees to at least 125,000 per year.
“The influx of low wage workers from all across the world will drive down incomes, drive down wages, deplete the middle class, bankrupt Social Security, bankrupt Medicare, bankrupt Medicaid, bankrupt federal entitlements, overcrowd schools, and overcrowd every hospital in the middle of a pandemic,” White House aide Stephen Miller told reporters on October 28.
“It is an assault on reason, it is an assault on law enforcement, and it’s an assault on the very idea of having a country, having a Republic,” Miller added. “This is not about left or right or Center. This is about between having a country, or not even having a country.”
Mexican Ambassador: Let’s Restart Mass Migration into U.S.
The United States should reopen itself to migration, amnesties, refugee inflows, asylum seekers, and more temporary contract workers, Mexico’s ambassador to the United States said Tuesday.

The U.S. immigration system “has to be based on facts and realities,” Ambassador Martha Bárcena Coqui told a forum arranged by the National Immigration Forum (NIF). She continued: ‘The facts and realities is the need to protect the most vulnerable, the need to keep open the generosity towards refugees, the need to recognize the complementarity of labor markets and demographic profiles, the need for temporary workers in the United States.”
The United States should not view migration as a security threat, she said, adding, “If you conceptualize migration as a national security issue, if you [push for] securitization of migration, and what is even worse, if you criminalize migration, then your approach always be policing, contentious [and] reduction of migration. So what we need is really to conceptualize migration … as an economic and social and political phenomena.”
“With all due respect to Madam Ambassador, she should mind her own country’s business, not ours,” responded Mark Krikorian, the director of the Center for Immigration Studies.
“The Mexican ambassador is going to tell us what is in the best interest of Mexico,” responded Rosemary Jenks, policy director at NumbersUSA. “But that doesn’t mean we have to do it — we have to do what’s in the best interest of the United States. of American, of Americans and legal immigrants,” she told Breitbart News, adding:
You know we have the pandemic still raging, we have economic lockdowns still going on, we have unemployment way too high. We have underemployment way too high. We have American citizens hurting. We absolutely do not need to reopen mass immigration — and certainly don’t need to give amnesty and taxpayer benefits to people who came here illegally. If Mexico thinks its plan is to just open up its own southern borders in the hopes that America will open our southern borders, that’s just going to reignite the caravans. I hope that the Biden administration is planning for that because that’s not going to go well, and 2022 is not going to go well for Democrats.
More migrants are coming, the ambassador said, even though the coronavirus crash has blocked the northward flow for the moment:
The root causes of these migrations have [not] disappeared. On the contrary, we are seeing pent up, building pressure. People cannot move now because of the restrictions on movement because of the pandemic. But the root causes are still there, [for example], the drought in Central America … a hurricane in Nicaragua and Honduras that have totally flooded Honduras.
The United States should amnesty many illegal migrants from all over the world, she said, and also import more migrants by accepting asylum applications at U.S. embassies, so the world’s migrants will not have to travel through Mexico. “What we would like to see, of course, is that the U.S. embassies in Central America could process even more of these requests for asylum, instead of having people crossing through Mexico and asking for asylum at the border.”
The ambassador was invited to speak by the NIF, which is a business-funded activist group that promotes cheap labor migration into jobs needed by lower-skilled Americans and by legal immigrants, and also into jobs that can be automated.
Roughly three million migrants have flooded over the southern border since the rules were loosened by Congress in 2008 and by President Barack Obama’s deputies in 2011. Trump stopped the flow in 2020, but few of the migrants — or of roughly 300,000 younger “Unaccompanied Alien Children” — have been sent home because they are being protected by pro-migrant immigration lawyers, by pro-diversity progressives, and cheap labor employers in sanctuary cities.

The large U.S. population of illegal immigrants helps to push down wages for Americans, push disadvantaged workers out of the labor force, reduce corporate investment in technology and training, and spike corporate sales and profits. The large population also shifts the U.S. politics from a focus on Americans’ jobs and wages, and then towards a politics focused on business demands and the 1950’s claim by elites that the United States is a diverse “nation of immigrants,” not a cooperative nation for all Americans.
The flood of cheap labor that is being promoted by the ambassador would be a disaster for Americans, Jenks said. “They would absolutely destroy the employment opportunities for lower-skilled Americans, particularly for minorities and legal immigrants. It would reduce wages among the people who can least afford reduced wages and put downward pressure on everyone else’s wages. The people who would benefit from it, of course, would be the elites who can hire nannies, maids, and housekeepers, and who go stay at resorts and so on, while the rest of us suffer.”
The ambassador’s statement, Krikorian told Breitbart News, “suggests that the [President Donald] Trump really was getting Mexico to change its behavior [after 2018] and that once Trump is gone, the Mexican approach these issues will revert to form, and they will again usher large numbers of third-country illegal aliens into our country.”
But if Mexico is concerned about the migrants coming up from the South, it can take its own defense measures, said Krikorian.
“As far as refugees and asylees go, Mexico is a signatory to the U.N. Convention on these issues. Mexico is about half the population, maybe a little less, of the United States. It doesn’t take a nearly proportionate number of asylum seekers or refugees [as the United States. So, “Physician, heal thyself,” would be my first response.”
Also, Krikorian added, the ambassador may be overstating the view of the Mexican government. “Whatever the ambassador said, it is an open question whether Mexico will truly open the floodgates again. The country has its own interest in limiting this transit migration because Mexican citizens are getting sick of the migrations. And many of these people end up staying anyway, applying for asylum in Mexico, or just hanging around illegally, and that undermines the job prospects of Mexicans in the same way that it can undermine Americans’ job prospects.”
“The United States is a sovereign nation that should and can have complete control over its borders,” said Jenks. “Regardless of what our neighbors may think, our government owes it to the American people to have an immigration system that benefits America. Period. Full stop.”

Overall, open-ended migration is praised by business and progressives partly because migrants help transfer massive wealth from American wage-earners to stockholders.
Migration moves money from employees to employers, from families to investors, from young to old, from children to their parents, from homebuyers to real estate investors, and from the central states to the coastal states.
Migration also allows investors and CEOs to skimp on labor-saving technology, sideline U.S. minorities, ignore disabled people, exploit stoop labor in the fields, shortchange labor in the cities, impose tight control and pay cuts on American professionals, corral technological innovation by minimizing the employment of American graduates, undermine labor rights, and redirect progressive journalists to cheerlead for Wall Street’s priorities and claims.

Kamala Harris Gave Plea Deal to Illegal Alien Months Before He Killed Drew Rosenberg

In the first week of November 2010, then-San Francisco District Attorney Kamala Harris won her statewide race to become California’s Attorney General. Two weeks later, Angel Dad Don Rosenberg lost his son Drew, 25-years-old, at the hands of an illegal alien.
On November 16, 2010, second-year law student Drew Rosenberg was killed in San Francisco by Roberto Galo, an illegal alien from Honduras who had been granted Temporary Protected Status (TPS) to stay in the United States.
Galo hit Drew, who was riding his bike, and ran him over twice before attempting to flee the scene of the crash. Galo stopped his car on Drew’s abdomen, prompting a group of bystanders to help lift the car off of him.

A year before Drew’s death, then-San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom (D) implemented a policy that allowed unlicensed drivers about 20 minutes to find a licensed driver to drive their car so that it would not be impounded by the city.
The policy ensured illegal aliens, driving without licenses, could be pulled over, cited, and fined without having to deal with having their car impounded. As District Attorney, Harris seemed to follow the Newsom policy, Rosenberg said.
“It was a decision by the city of San Francisco that if you’re here illegally, you don’t have to follow the law,” Rosenberg told Breitbart News. “And as district attorney, it was Kamala’s job to say, ‘You can’t do that — you can’t tell people that they can drive without a license.'”
Months before Drew was killed, in June 2010, Galo was pulled over by San Francisco police officers for driving the wrong way down a one-way street. Galo was arrested and charged with driving without a license and driving without insurance.
Harris’s office offered Galo a plea deal that would allow him to escape the more serious charges of driving without a license and driving without insurance by pleading guilty to driving the wrong way. Rosenberg said Galo had taken a driver’s test on three occasions and failed each time.
In a 2013 post, detailing his son’s case in great length, Rosenberg wrote:
The inspector told us it was a slam dunk felony vehicular homicide. There were no skid marks from Galo’s car as he never attempted to stop. He also told us that Galo had been caught driving without a license, driving the wrong way on a one way street and driving without insurance in June 2010. The case would now be in the hands of the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office. [Emphasis added]

On July 27, 2010 Galo appeared in traffic court for his June 14 charges. The DA’s office had cut him a deal: Plead guilty to driving the wrong way on a one way street and the charges for driving without a license and driving without insurance would be dropped. At this point Galo had already been driving again for 45 days. Of course he took the deal. The DA’s office refuses to tell us if he ever paid the ticket for the wrong way violation.
Rosenberg said he eventually discovered — after a year of asking the district attorney’s office — that Galo paid the $220 ticket.
Through his own findings in the case, Rosenberg learned that Galo was able to almost immediately begin driving in San Francisco again after his car was impounded for the June 2010 arrest and charges.
The very next day, Galo apparently signed the car title over to Digna Guzman, who quickly got herself and Galo insured on the car. That same day, Guzman was able to get the car from impound and Galo began driving, Rosenberg said.
In a letter to Harris dated February 21, 2011, who was now attorney general, Rosenberg pressed her office about why Galo had been offered such a plea deal and was allowed to get his car from impound so quickly against state law.
Rosenberg wrote to Harris:
I am not writing you as the Attorney General. I am writing to you because you were the District Attorney of San Francisco when Roberto Galo was first arrested in June. You were the District Attorney when this tragedy occurred. You were the District Attorney when the preliminary hearing fiasco occurred. The staff of the District Attorney’s office was under your control and responsibility. And what I have recently learned is that when Roberto Galo was caught driving without a license, without insurance and driving the wrong way down a one way street, your DA’s Office offered and Galo accepted a plea on the lesser charge of driving the wrong way down a one way street . Your DA’s Office dropped the charge of driving without a license and without insurance charges. Why would your DA’s Office do that? Could there have been an easier conviction? My son is dead because the DA’s did not (and continues to believe) that driving without a license is a big deal. [Emphasis added]

Although no one will confirm, it certainly appears that the policy of the San Francisco District Attorney’s office is not to prosecute unlicensed drivers unless they are in a fatal collision. Since you were the District Attorney, I have to believe that this was your policy and your department implemented it. [Emphasis added]
Galo was convicted of voluntary manslaughter. He spent 43 days in jail for killing Drew.
The Rosenberg case is not the first time Harris has been involved in such a matter. As Breitbart News reported, Harris failed to prosecute illegal alien MS-13 Gang member Edwin Ramos in a traffic violation months before he went on to murder 48-year-old Tony Bologna and two of his sons — 20-year-old Michael and 16-year-old Matthew.
Angel Mom Danielle Bologna publicly pleaded with Harris to seek the death penalty against Ramos. Harris refused and instead sought a life sentence.
Similarly, Harris implemented a jobs program as San Francisco District Attorney. Harris’s “Back on Track” program allowed 18 to 30-year-olds to plead guilty to drug felonies so long as they agreed to spend a year in the program, living where they chose.
The program was open to illegal aliens like then-20-year-old Alexander Izaguirre,who had pled guilty to selling cocaine. Months after Izaguirre was put in Harris’s Back on Track program, he robbed then-29-year-old Amanda Kiefer before jumping into an SUV to run her over.
Kiefer suffered ear bleeding and a fractured skull as a result of the attack.
Not until a year after Kiefer’s assault did Harris acknowledge that her Back on Track program for convicts had provided jobs to illegal aliens. Once she learned of their inclusion, Harris allowed illegal aliens to finish their time in the program.

What We Must Believe to Believe Biden Won

The Democrats dismiss any mention of the innumerable irregularities that tainted the general election as little more than crackpot conspiracy theories. This is a convenient way to avoid addressing serious questions raised by serious observers, but it will further undermine confidence in key institutions that form the foundation upon which the republic stands. Public trust in government, media, and even science was already declining before Election Day. This trend will dramatically accelerate if Americans don’t get answers to questions such as the following: Why would the voters deliver the Democrats a comprehensive down-ballot drubbing yet hand the White House to the worst presidential candidate in living memory?
The only bellwether county out of the 19 that Biden won is located in Washington state, which long ago went to all mail-in ballots and one-party rule. We are expected to believe that this is a coincidence.
The last time a Democrat “won” the presidency while his party sustained a double-digit loss in the House was in 1960, during an election tainted by probable vote fraud in Illinois and Texas. Still, we’re expected to believe that Joe Biden achieved the same feat in 2020 with no skulduggery? Moreover, as Juan Williams admits in the Hill, “President Trump set a record last week by attracting the highest percentage of the non-white vote of any Republican presidential candidate in the last 60 years.” Yet we are expected to believe that, despite the worst showing among minorities of any Democratic nominee since JFK, Biden surpassed Barack Obama’s record-breaking turnout by 10 million votes?
Biden’s “victory” seems even more implausible after an audit of his performance in remarkably predictive bellwethers. The Wall Street Journal reports that Biden had a nearly perfect record of losses in counties whose election results have presaged presidential winners for decades: “From 1980 through 2016, 19 of the nation’s more than 3,000 counties voted for the eventual president in every election. Only one … backed President-elect Joe Biden last week.” So, a candidate who campaigned from his basement lost 95 percent of these counties yet won the election? What of the fabled bellwether Ohio? Last month, the New York Times advised that if Trump didn’t win there it was over:
Four years ago, Mr. Trump built a particularly balanced coalition among Ohio’s white voters, winning across education levels. But his support in the state has waned over the past four years, particularly in the suburbs … Columbus’s growth, and the expansion of suburbs and exurbs into what used to be rural and blue-collar areas, might have once spelled an opportunity for Republicans. But under Mr. Trump the Republican Party has lost its footing among specifically these kinds of voters — and the growth in Franklin County plays into Mr. Biden’s hands.
Well, not so much. President Trump trounced Biden in Ohio, winning the state by 8.2 percent. Suddenly, AP demoted the state to a bit player in presidential politics:
As Ohio goes, so goes the nation. That’s the way it had been in presidential elections for more than half a century, until this year, when Republican Donald Trump won a decisive victory in the state while losing the presidency to Democrat Joe Biden. Biden becomes the first president elected without carrying Ohio since fellow Democrat John F. Kennedy in 1960. Trump’s statewide victory — his second, after carrying Ohio in 2016 — brings an end to Ohio’s role as a presidential bellwether and even puts its future as a battleground state in doubt.
What we are expected to believe here is that the bellwether counties discussed by the Wall Street Journal and the Buckeye State have been left behind by the rest of the nation in the long march toward the mandatory lockdowns and mask mandates that Biden wants to impose on the electorate. In reality, Trump won Ohio and the vast majority of these counties because absentee ballots were managed transparently according to long-standing and coherent guidelines in place long before the election. The only bellwether county out of the 19 that Biden won is located in Washington state, which long ago went to all mail-in ballots and one-party rule. We are expected to believe that this is a coincidence.
This brings us to ground zero for election fraud — Pennsylvania. The Commonwealth illegally changed its election rules before and during the voting process. Essentially, the Commonwealth Court and the Secretary of the Commonwealth ignored the General Assembly and the U.S. Constitution to rig the election on behalf of Joe Biden. The American Spectator’s Paul Kengor and Jeffrey Lord have covered this chicanery here, here, here, and here. We are expected to believe that such stories are conspiracy theories, despite videos showing Democrat election officials evicting Republican election observers from vote-counting locations and erecting physical barriers to prevent them from watching.
Finally, we come to the Smartmatic/Dominion software that was used to tabulate votes in the swing states of Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. As this Fox interview with Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani reveals, this software was developed in Venezuela and banned from the U.S. a decade ago. It’s now been brought back into the country under the aegis of a subcontractor. Its major design feature is that it allows the vote counters to calculate how many votes they need to win. Jeffrey Lord has more here. The Democrats want you to believe this is a conspiracy theory. It isn’t. The Democrats knew they couldn’t beat Trump honestly, so they’re stealing the election.
In the end, to accept Joe Biden as our legitimate Chief Executive, we must believe the voters hammered the Democrats in congressional, state, and local elections, yet decided to elect the “leader” of their party president. We must believe that he dramatically underperformed among minority voters, yet received 10 million more votes than Barack Obama. We must believe that virtually all of the reliable election bellwethers were wrong. We must believe that all of the elections in the swing states were conducted honestly and that the Venezuelan software used to tabulate the votes was secure. All of this beggars belief. Joe Biden may be inaugurated in January, but he certainly wasn’t elected president.

The Dems’ Voting Fraud Encouragement Bill
A blatant power grab.
The Democrat-controlled House of Representatives passed the inappropriately named “For the People Act” (H.R.1) on Wednesday evening by the largely party line vote of 220 to 210. It now goes to the Senate. This bill, if enacted into law, will be a gift that keeps on giving to Democrats who care only about staying in power rather than securing the integrity of the electoral process. "This bill makes elections less trustworthy, not more," said Rep. Dan Crenshaw, R-Texas.
The right to vote in a free and fair election requires procedural protections to ensure that elections are conducted in an honest manner. We must have guardrails to protect against potential election fraud, voter intimidation, illegal votes, and inaccurate vote counts. The American people’s willingness to accept the results of an election, whether a voter’s favored candidate wins or not, depends on their being convinced that the election was carried out in a legitimate manner. H.R.1 strips away any semblance of guardrails. Instead, H.R.1 creates multiple paths to election fraud, including the following:
Online Registrations: Let’s start with the provision that mandates online voter registration in federal elections, which would also allow registered voters to update their voter registration information online. With no more paper registration forms as backup, this is an invitation for hackers inside and outside the country to run amok. Hacking last year by one of Russia’s premier intelligence agencies of the Pentagon, intelligence agencies, nuclear labs, various cabinet department, and Fortune 500 companies should provide a clear warning that even highly secure systems are vulnerable. States’ voting registration databases will be easy pickings.
Same Day Registrations: States must offer same day registration for federal elections. This H.R.1 provision eliminates the opportunity for states to ensure against fraudulent registrations by illegal aliens or ineligible out-of-state residents who land in another state just in time to overwhelm the votes of eligible voters. Couple same day registration with the provision placing limits on states’ use of data systems shared with other states that collect voter registration records from multiple states to identify duplicate registrations data. The result is a smooth pathway to election fraud.
Felon Voters: H.R.1 prevents states from requiring that felons complete their entire sentence – including the payment of fines and restitution to the victims of their crimes – before becoming eligible to vote in federal elections. All that a felon needs is an out of jail free card to vote. Just look at what California has done as an example of the mischief this provision can cause. California released thousands of violent criminals from jail last year on the pretext of concerns over the spread of the coronavirus, decades before their original sentences would have ended. If H.R.1 had been in effect last year, unrepentant convicted murderers would have been able to vote in California in the 2016 presidential election so long as they were not still serving their sentences in “a correctional institution or facility at the time of the election.” The convicted murders wouldn’t even have had to serve out their post-incarceration terms of probation or parole.
Unlimited Mail-In Voting and Vote Harvesting: H.R.1 opens the floodgates to expanded mail-in voting in federal elections. Procedural protections are washed away. More fraud will come in with the tidal wave of mail-in ballots. H.R.1 requires states to allow any voter to vote by mail in federal elections, no questions asked. H.R.1 also permits voters to ask for mail-in ballots online or by phone. At the same time, a state is forbidden from requiring any voter identification other than the voter’s signature itself. Notarization or witness signatures requirements for mail-in ballots in federal elections are prohibited. Signature verification protections are significantly watered down. And H.R.1’s icing on the mail-in ballot cake is to require states to permit vote harvesting. This means that any persons with voters' consent, including party hacks and ideologues with a vested interest in the election outcome, may collect completed mail-in ballots from multiple voters and return the ballots. There would be no limits on the number of ballots the third party collector may return on behalf of others.
As it happens, the Supreme Court heard oral arguments on March 2nd regarding a challenge to two Arizona statutory voting procedure restrictions, one of which was aimed at strictly limiting the practice of vote harvesting. The question before the Supreme Court was whether Arizona’s restrictions run afoul of Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act of 1965, which prohibits voting practices or procedures that "result in a denial or abridgement of the right to vote on account of race."
Concern over potential fraud and voter intimidation is a reasonable justification for voting procedures that are neutral on their face. It is common sense that unregulated vote harvesting by partisans is a recipe for fraud and intimidation of vulnerable voters trying to fill out mail-in ballots. But the attorneys challenging Arizona’s vote harvesting measure do not agree. They believe that restricting vote harvesting places more burdens on certain racial minorities than on other voters who want to ensure that their mail-in ballots are delivered to the right destination. This is a self-serving, unproven assumption that does not come close to outweighing the real potential for fraud and intimidation arising from unrestricted voter harvesting.
No Proof of Voter Identification Required: H.R.1 requires states to accept the word of an individual attesting to his or her identity and eligibility to vote in the election in lieu of requiring some independent documentary proof of identification. Just try to get through airport security without first presenting an official government ID for inspection. Voting is treated more cavalierly than many other less important activities where proof of an individual's identity is required.
H. R.1 is far from the voting rights reform bill advertised by the Democrats. It is an invitation to election fraud and voter intimidation. So long as the Senate filibuster remains intact, the Democrats’ attempt at a power grab will hopefully come to an inglorious end - at least for the time being.
Kamala Harris Urges Illegal Migrants to Help Elect Joe Biden
Sen. Kamala Harris promised Sunday to reduce detention space for migrants as she asked an illegal immigrant activist to help Joe Biden win the election.

“I’m undocumented … I can’t vote …What can we do during this election to help make sure that we get you elected?” asked Astrid Silva, who was brought into the United States as a child by her illegal migrant parents.
“You can tell people who can vote what life is like for you now, and what life can be like,” Vice President nominee Harris told the Nevada-based political organizer who runs the pro-amnesty Dream Big Nevada group, adding that:
We are committed to shutting down private detention centers and ending policies that have been about separating children from their parents at the border.
Harris’s comments may be a coded message to would-be illegal migrants and their supportive legal-immigrant relatives.
For example, if implemented, Harris’s promise to start “shutting down private detention centers” could cripple border enforcement. If the enforcement agency does not have commercial prisons to hold detainees prior to their asylum hearings, the agency would be forced to release waves of job-seeking migrants into the U.S. labor market.
Similarly, Harris’s promise to end “policies … about separating children” echoes the media-magnified demand by pro-migration activists that officials release migrant mothers and children when they cross the border. That demand would let migrant families freely travel to relatives — including their illegal migrant husbands and fathers — who are working illegally in the United States.

Like Biden, Harris pushed the Cold War “Nation of Immigrants” claim, even though only about 10 percent of people in the United States are legal immigrants:
We want to have a president who understands we are a nation of immigrants. This is a country that was built and that has derived its strength from immigrants coming here over the generations.
Harris also tried to blur the legal and civic differences between illegal migrants, legal immigrants, and American citizens. For example, she told Silva:
Define who you are, and you tell the world who you are. Don’t let anybody ever put you in a box because they have a limited perspective on who can do what and who can be one.
We are all in this together. And so, chin up, shoulders back, right? We speak our truth and know that there will always be people applauding and supporting that even if you can’t see them at that one moment, know that there are so many of us who are supporting your leadership and the power of your voice. It’s really important.
Harris also claimed President Donald Trump vilified immigrants: “We’ve seen under the current president the kind of vitriol, the kind of hate, the vilification of immigrants in such a horrible way.”
But a Washington Post poll showed in April that Latinos are the strongest advocates for a near-total halt to legal immigration during the coronavirus epidemic and economic crash.
Biden’s 2020 plan promises to “reassert America’s commitment to asylum-seekers and refugees,” wipe out Trump’s asylum reforms, bar any deportations for 100 days, and end migration enforcement against illegal aliens unless they commit a felony.

Biden also wants to let companies import more visa workers, let mayors import temporary workers, and allow an unlimited flow of foreign graduates through U.S. universities into white-collar jobs. Biden would “exempt from any cap [the] recent graduates of Ph.D. programs in STEM fields.”
Biden also wants to accelerate the inflow of chain migration migrants and dramatically accelerate the inflow of poor refugees to at least 125,000 per year.
“The influx of low wage workers from all across the world will drive down incomes, drive down wages, deplete the middle class, bankrupt Social Security, bankrupt Medicare, bankrupt Medicaid, bankrupt federal entitlements, overcrowd schools, and overcrowd every hospital in the middle of a pandemic,” White House aide Stephen Miller told reporters on October 28.
“It is an assault on reason, it is an assault on law enforcement, and it’s an assault on the very idea of having a country, having a Republic,” Miller added. “This is not about left or right or Center. This is about between having a country, or not even having a country.”

“Joe Biden knows how to read,” host Julia Louis-Dreyfus took care to remind viewers Thursday, “and he reads everything.” In an undated clip, Joe Biden quoted Kierkegaard that “faith sees best in the dark.” The television audience may have wanted more, but the virtual event kept them waiting while other Democrats had their say.
“Joe and Kamala are real people,” said former candidate Andrew Wang, who also hailed “the magic of Joe Biden.” Sen. Chris Coons said Biden’s faith is strong and he “knows the power of prayer.” Such a man of faith and conscience, Coons said, can “confront the original sins of this nation, slavery and racism.” Atlanta mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms hailed the late John Lewis, celebrated earlier in a short film. And now we need “real leaders like Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.”

Sen. Cory Booker did not experience another Spartacus moment, but he told viewers his auto-worker father “would be proud of Joe and Kamala.” Sen. Tammy Baldwin said Joe’s record on health care “was a big f---king deal,” and Joe and Kamala were “the only answer.” American troops now have a “coward in chief,” said Sen. Tammy Duckworth, and “Joe Biden would never turn his back on our troops.”
Mayor Pete Buttigieg said Joe Biden “stepped out ahead on marriage equality,” and “imagine what could change by 2030.” So Pete and husband Chasten are “proudly supporting Joe and Kamala.” It’s a contest for the soul of a nation and “black lives matter.” Former rival Michael Bloomberg told viewers Biden and Obama created more jobs than Trump. For Vermont socialist Bernie Sanders, “Joe is honest and decent,” and the nominee from Delaware seemed to be in his preacher mode.
“Give people light and they will find a way,” Biden said. “I’ll be an ally of the light, not the darkness.” He was out to “choose hope over fear, facts over fiction,” instead of the “truth over facts” of a previous speech. On Thursday, Biden said, “the days of cozying up to dictators is over,” and “there’s never been anything we’ve been able to accomplish.” For the most part, the rest was error-free, but all too familiar boilerplate about the existential threat of climate change, tax breaks for the wealthy, and of course “systemic racism.” And so on.
“This is not a partisan moment,” Biden said. The nation is “poised to make great progress again” and “find the light once more.” And as he closed out, “may God bless you and may God protect our troops.”
Joe Biden said not a word about the violence currently convulsing the nation, and neither did any other Democrat. It also escaped notice that DNC casting directors had missed some Democrat Big Stars such as former California Assembly Speaker Willie Brown.
Back in the day, when he was 60, Brown spotted Kamala Harris, 30 years his junior. Brown set her up in lucrative sinecures and she became his main squeeze. That act of poontronage helped launch a career that has landed Harris on the 2020 ticket, under Joe Biden. Also missing from the virtual DNC was Angela Davis, the 1980 and 1984 Communist Party USA candidate under the Stalinist Gus Hall.
Davis, keynote speaker at the 2017 Women’s March, is on record that “to vote for ourselves I think that means that we will have to campaign for and vote for Joe Biden.” Even so, the Democrats’ 2020 show saved no room for Angela.
Joe Biden’s first DNC was in Miami, in 1972, so for Joe this is DNC number 12. In all that time, and maybe before, Joe Biden is the first presidential candidate truly to defy satire. Tom Shillue and Bruce Bawer do their level best, but the best portrayal may be Chauncey Gardner in the 1979 movie Being There.
According to housekeeper Louise, who raised him, Chauncey was “short-changed by the Lord and dumb as a jackass,” yet he cavorts with the rich and powerful and winds up a famous television commentator. As Louise explains, “All you have to be in America is white to get anything you want.” For all their talk that black lives matter, the Democrats pick an old white guy who tells a black radio host that if he doesn’t support him, “you ain’t black.”
At the funeral of magnate Benjamin Rand, his handlers say their only chance to retain the presidency is Chauncey Gardner. In similar style, Democrats are banking on Joe Biden to win back the presidency from Donald Trump, but maybe old Joe is just, as President Trump said Thursday, “a puppet of the radical left movement,” and the one they really want on top is Kamala Harris, who got her start under Willie Brown.
If Biden wins, Democrats may have a plan to depose him, or maybe something will happen before the election. After all, in 1972 George McGovern dumped highly-qualified running mate Thomas Eagleton because he had been hospitalized for depression. As President Trump likes to say, we’ll have to wait and see what happens.
Exclusive – Eric Eggers: ‘Fair to Assume’ Illegal Aliens Will Get Mail-in Ballots in California
Government Accountability Institute Research Director Eric Eggers, author of Fraud: How the Left Plans to Steal the Next Election, says it is “fair to assume” that many illegal aliens will receive mail-in ballots in California for the 2020 election thanks to a plan by Gov. Gavin Newsom (D).
In an exclusive interview with SiriusXM Patriot’s Breitbart News Tonight, Eggers said California’s automatic voter registration coupled with providing driver’s licenses to illegal aliens opens its elections to a host of fraud.
That fraud, Eggers expects, will be exacerbated by Newsom’s statewide mail-in voting plan for the 2020 election.

“This is really where the left shows a level of hypocrisy, which they’re not regularly held to account,” Eggers said. “What if the ballots go to illegal immigrants that willingly or unwillingly ended up on the voter rolls and maybe they just don’t even know they’re not supposed to be casting ballots? Because remember, elsewhere in California and elsewhere nationally, it is legal for noncitizens to vote in certain local elections.”
“Basically, what you’ve got is this hodgepodge of a lack of oversight, lacks regulation, and confusion by the general public,” Eggers said. “And oh, by the way, there’s a global pandemic, so many people are focused on other things at the moment. And so … here come all the ballots, and yes, many of the people that will get the ballots will be legal voters, but many of those ballots will end up somewhere other than in the hands of legal [voters], and that’s exactly where the recipe for fraud can occur.”
“The only person standing in between a noncitizen or an illegal alien just getting their driver’s license and the voter rolls is a DMV employee,” Eggers said. “You’ve got these people … often times are confused or coerced by political operatives and told to register to vote. … The DMV officials are prohibited by law from giving real guidance on should you check the box and register to vote or not.”
“You’ve got this system where you know you’ve got over a million illegal immigrants in California that have driver’s licenses,” Eggers continued. “I think it’s fair to assume that a good number of those inadvertently or intentionally ended up on the voter rolls, and those people are about to be receiving a mail-in ballot.”
Eggers noted that Los Angeles County, California, was found to have about 1.5 million more registered voters on its voter rolls than eligible voting-age citizens. About 348 counties in the U.S. have more registered voters on their voter rolls than even possible.
Likewise, California has previously had a voter registration rate of over 100 percent, indicating more registered voters on voter rolls than those eligible to vote in the state.
Statistics cited by the U.S. Supreme Court, Eggers said, reveal that about 1-in-8 voter registrations, or 24 million, are significantly flawed. Under a mail-in voting system, every one of those flawed voter registrations would receive ballots.
As Newsom suspends in-person voting for the 2020 election, Eggers said the state will still allow ballot harvesting — the process where political operatives can collect voters’ ballots and deliver them to polling stations.
Eggers said California’s ballot harvesting helped flip seven congressional seats in 2018 from Republican to Democrat in and around the Los Angeles area.
“We haven’t suspended [ballot harvesting] in the name of safety,” Eggers said.
“We’re being told to stay home. … We can’t go out and do many of the most basic functions of American life but we can sure send these asymptomatic carriers to the elderly and anybody else’s house they want to collect a ballot and drop it off,” Eggers said.
Eggers said Republican lawmakers must be on the side of security and election integrity if they are going to take on mail-in voting and the widespread potential for voter fraud.
“Republicans absolutely do not want to be on the side of ‘you have to risk your health to vote.’ … They shouldn’t be anti-access. They should be pro-security and pro-election integrity,” Eggers said. “The Democrats don’t appear to be overly worried about it.”
In the last four election cycles, 28.4 million mail-in ballots have gone missing. In the 2016 and 2018 elections, about 16.4 million mail-in ballots went missing.
Recent data has not shown a compelling public health justification for vote-by-mail. Wisconsin is one of the only U.S. states that held its primary election with in-person voting after the nation’s coronavirus lockdowns began. Only a few dozen people at maximum were confirmed to have contracted the virus after participating either as voters or poll workers, and none of those cases were fatal. Out of the 413,000 participants, that equals an infection rate below two-hundredths of one percent. Just days later, South Korea held national elections, which did not result in any new coronavirus cases.

California admits it has no idea whether non-citizens voted in last primary
After a hard-fought battle to obtain records by the Sacramento Bee, we now learn that California's electoral officials are admitting that they have no idea how many illegals and other non-citizens voted in the last primary, based on the state's motor-voter registration, which has been shown to have registered thousands of non-citizen voters. The Bee reports:
California officials still can’t say whether non-citizens voted in the June 2018 primary because a confusing government questionnaire about eligibility was created in a way that prevents a direct answer on citizenship.
Apparently, tens of thousands of foreign nationals and other ineligible voters, maybe 16 year olds, got registered to vote at the DMV when they applied for their drivers licenses whether they asked for it or not.
Investigators can see that people marked themselves as ineligible to vote or declined to answer eligibility questions, but they can’t tell why.
“We can’t assume why they declined to answer eligibility questions or why they said they were not eligible,” the Secretary of State’s Office wrote in an internal memo on Oct. 8, 2018.
That email and other documents The Sacramento Bee obtained through the Public Records Act shed light on why the Secretary of State has been unable to say clearly whether non-citizens voted last year. The Bee filed a legal complaint for the records when the Secretary of State initially withheld most of them.
The email shows that, for months, California officials have been examining whether non-citizens voted last year. On Thursday, Secretary of State Alex Padilla confirmed for the first time that his office has an active internal investigation into the matter.
“The Secretary of State’s office does not comment on the details of ongoing investigations,” the office said in a statement. “Determining whether ineligible individuals who were erroneously registered to vote by the DMV cast ballots requires a complete review. The Secretary of State’s office is doing its due diligence by conducting a thorough investigation.”
Spokesmen for the office declined to say how the department could otherwise determine citizenship of those registered.
This doesn't even include the undoubtedly significant numbers of voters who answered that they were eligible to vote when they were not. Could that have happened when the ballot-harvestors were out patrolling illegal immigrant neighborhoods in search of votes? At a minimum, it most certainly was possible, especially, since claims to voter-eligibility on drivers license forms are never checked in California (it's the honor system), according to voter-integrity activists. It also doesn't help that California sneakily had residents sign to certify on their yellow mail-in ballots that they were California residents(rather than voting-eligible citizens) so as to prevent for illegals any potential perjury charges in addition to vote-fraud charges.
If California has no idea who's a citizen, and has resisted every effort out there to get that information (it has defied cooperation with President Trump's electoral integrity commission), well, then what we can conclude is that they don't want to know if a non-citizen is voting and now the word is out that they don't. Apparently, Democratic interests in 'counting all the ballots' as they say, means counting illegal ones, too.
They don't know, they don't want to know, and they aren't about to clean this up. Keep after them, Sacramento Bee. In this case, the Bee is a newspaper that's doing its actual job.
Ballot-harvesting gets just a little harder in California, thanks to Judicial Watch
Judicial Watch has forced the state of California and Los Angeles county to end its practice of keeping 'inactive' voters on the voter rolls as is required by federal law. Here's the news from the legal watchdog:
(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch announced today that it signed a settlement agreement with the State of California and County of Los Angeles under which they will begin the process of removing from their voter registration rolls as many as 1.5 million inactive registered names that may be invalid. These removals are required by the National Voter Registration Act (NVRA).
The NVRA is a federal law requiring the removal of inactive registrations from the voter rolls after two general federal elections (encompassing from 2 to 4 years). Inactive voter registrations belong, for the most part, to voters who have moved to another county or state or have passed away.
Los Angeles County has over 10 million residents, more than the populations of 41 of the 50 United States. California is America’s largest state, with almost 40 million residents.
The state of California, run completely by Democrats, of course, resisted this (at least until the midterm was over). They decided that cleaning up inactive voters from the rolls wasn't in their interest and federal laws were for other states, little states. And as a result, nearly a quarter of California's counties had more voters registered than actual eligible voters. And surprise, surprise, the state has suddenly turned solid blue.
L.A. county's approximately 1.5 million inactive voters on those rolls (112% of age-eligible citizens alone) had been perfect fodder for ballot-harvestors, not this last time at midterms (all of the Democratic ballots harvested in the last midterm have made their voters active voters), but for upcoming elections. That rich bank of potential Democratic votes from ballot-harvesting is now gone with this Judicial Watch agreement.
Ballot-harvesting is a disturbing phenomenon so prone to abuse it's illegal in most states. In California, where it's not, Democratic operatives selectively pay visits to the homes of indifferent voters who don't want to go to the polls or mail in their ballots, engage those voters, and then "help" them fill out their ballots in the way Democrats want. That's why conservative areas such as Orange County were suddenly flipped blue and popular candidates such as Young Kim, who had been winning by large margins on election night - suddenly saw their results flipped. Democrats learned that by extending the election count for weeks, turning in harvested ballot after harvested ballot, they could win any election.
But the harvest had been incomplete, and with many inactive voters, Democrats would need that bank of more potential votes, which likely explains why California's Democrats resisted any cleanup of voter rolls. California may have mailed these people ballots whether they liked it or not or asked for it or not, as they did with all of us, and well, Democratic ballot-harvestors could have easily gotten hold of those unasked for ballots in the mailboxes of dead, moved-away, or incapacitated voters and saw to it that they somehow got cast.
(Judicial Watch is investigating that one, too.)
The state's chief vote counter, Secretary of State Alex Padilla, insists that not a single voter will be disenfranchised, given all his 'safeguards.' His official plan is to mail in a confirmation form to inactive voters and strike their names if they don't respond, but somehow, I suspect the ballot-harvestors will be paying visits to these inactive residents, who may be indifferent and incapacitated voters, and somehow will get them to mail those forms in, too, thereby subverting the process.
That said, Judicial Watch's victory is a great one and frees them up to focus on other areas of abuse that are rife in California, such as non-citizen registrations (the state still says it has no idea how many there are), illegal immigrant votes already cast, ballot harvestors using coercion, foreign ballot-harvestors, gerrymandering, straight out fraud, and the whole cavalcade of Democrat tricks that have disenfranchised conservative voters in the state.
It's a welcome glimmer of light from a one-party state.
Bienvenidos a Mexico: California's ballot-harvesting, sure enough, is borrowed from Mexico
In an extraordinary investigative piece on how ballot-harvesting works by Steve Miller, published on Real Clear Investigations, we learn an amazing amount of information about how ballot-harvesting works and why it's so closely connected to election fraud, skewing elections in directions they normally wouldn't go. Themust-read piece is focused on how Texas is dealing with the seedy issue, enforcing the law, prosecuting more than twice as many cases of electoral fraud as California, even hampered as Texas is by weak penalties for violators. But a little detail stands out much deeper into the piece: Ballot-harvesting, which is at the root of considerable fraud of all kinds, is a practice specifically borrowed from Latin America, with a very impressive Latino analyst, K.B. Forbes, who has electoral experience in both countries, citing Mexico. Here's the passage:
The practice has its roots in Latin America, said K.B. Forbes, a political consultant and Hispanic activist who has served as an elections observer in Sonora, Mexico. “In the Latin culture, they have colonias, which is ‘little colony,’ literally,” he said. “In these, they sometimes have the equivalent of a precinct boss, and that’s how people move up. The [politiqueras] deliver the vote and when the candidate moves in, the theory is that they get a good post inside the government.”
That brings up California, where ballot-harvesting is perfectly legal, and normal voters have to wonder how the heck that happened. Ballot-harvesting has been a disaster for Republicans in California, with all conservatives now shut out from any representation in once-red Orange County. Most congressional elections there showed Republican candidates in the lead on election night in the last midterm, but all of them flipped to Democrats as the Democrat-led ballot-harvesting brought in votes and votes and votes from supposed precincts, harvested by their political operatives, until the result went the other way. (This by the way, didn't happen in districts where Democrats held a small lead, nothing flipped in their cases and ballots did not keep rolling in).
If ballot harvesting is a practice imported from Mexican politics, what does that say about California politics, whose legislators would embrace Mexican electoral practices over the U.S. standard? As I mentioned earlier, Mexico has been called "a perfect dicatorship" by none other than Nobel Prize-winning literary lion Mario Vargas Llosa, owing to the continuous power of the Mexican Partido Revolucionario Institucional (or P.R.I.), which up under a decade or two ago, had a hammerlock monopoly on Mexican politics, winning every single election in what was then a one-party state. That's a system so bad people emigrated illegally from that country to get away from it. Now, the cultural practice is right there waiting for them in California, albeit, virtually nowhere else.
And like the P.R.I.'s Mexican electoral practice of ballot-harvesting, it's noteworthy that the ruling Democrats of California also are famous for doling out the goodies to the loyal voters. They've promised amazing things to California's illegal immigrant population, with the latest thing free heath care. California's insurance commissioner, the respected non-partisan Steve Poizner, was, conveniently, ballot-harvested out of office after an election-night lead several days after midterm by utterly leftist Democrat Ricardo Lara who openly declared his support and big plans for free health care for illegals. He's tried it before in the legislator and now he's going to do it this time through the executive. California's incoming governor, of course, is all in for the goody-slinging. In Mexico, they used to pass out bags of beans for votes. In California, the prizes are considerably higher, and they go well beyond free health care. I've already noted the weird similarities to how California is run, and P.R.I-style politics here.
Any wonder California is going way out of its way to welcome illegal immigrants? "You're all welcome here," as Gov. Jerry Brown famously said. California already hosts a quarter of the nation's illegals, and with middle class families now moving out due to high living costs and punitive taxation, the California P.R.I. likes new bodies coming in who have a lot of needs, which keeps the congressional seats numerous and the federal funds flowing.
It all makes a normal person wonder about the weird closeness of California officials and their Mexican counterparts, too. Newsom has already paid a visit to Mexico to discuss the caravan with the Mexican government in Mexico City (not Tijuana, where he would have gotten a earful from the generally conservative and more dissident-oriented Tijuana locals), and he has declared he plans to withdraw National Guard troops from the U.S. border. With his party now embracing the P.R.I's style of governance and having some unnaturally close ties to Mexican officials (I've seen it myself at Los Angeles functions as a guest of the Mexican government), it looks like a growing merger of Mexican and California politics.
Mexico knows how bad the system is, and its citizens did rebel against it with a Trump-like leftist president, Andres Manuel Lopez-Obrador, who won on a vow to end corruption. One can safely take that as a sign that Mexicans are trying to move away from that kind of politics, which of course would include ballot harvesting. California, on the other hand, is moving toward it, embracing what Mexico is trying to reject. That speaks pretty poorly for the sorry state of affairs in California. It's only great for the rulers and those they patronize, until the money runs out.
Until then, clarification about California's Mexico borrowings need to stand as an incentive to other states about what not to do.
California: Gavin Newsom Orders Vote-by-Mail for November Election
California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) on Friday signed an executive order permitting all registered voters in the Golden State to vote by mail in the upcoming presidential election, citing concerns stemming from the Chinese coronavirus pandemic.
“I signed an executive order that will allow every registered voter in California to receive a mail-in ballot,” Newsom said. “That mail-in ballot is important but it’s not an exclusive substitute to physical locations.”
“People that are otherwise not familiar with mail-in ballots, are uncomfortable with them, may have disabilities, may have other issues that may preclude that as an appropriate option, we still want to have the appropriate number of physical sites for people to vote as well,” the governor added.

Newsom said while offering voters the chance to vote by mail, he is committed to providing the ability to vote at a physical location on election day.
“There’s a lot of concern and excitement around this November’s election in terms of making sure that you can conduct yourself in a safe way and to make sure your health is protected and to make sure we are reaching out to all registered, eligible voters,” the governor stated. “And giving them the opportunity, giving them the choice not to feel like they have to go into a concentrated, dense environment where their health may be at risk but provide an additional asset and additional resources by way of voting by mail.”
In a statement to CNN, Trump campaign communications director Tim Murtaugh slammed the move by Newsom, calling it a “thinly-veiled political tactic” to “undermine” election security.
Newsom’s order comes as Democrats across the country are pushing efforts to allow voters to vote-by-mail in the 2020 election, despite concerns of potential voter fraud. On Wednesday, Reps. Joe Kennedy III (D-MA) and Mark Pocan (D-WI) went as far as to call for vote-by-mail to be permitted beyond the election.
“If we don’t act fast, we will jeopardize participation in what may be the most important election of our lifetime. People will stay home. Disproportionately, those people will be of color, who live in neighborhoods most likely to lose polling locations,” the Democrat lawmakers wrote in an op-ed for The Hill. “They’ll be students, single parents, and low-wage workers, who can’t put their lives on hold to go vote. They’ll be seniors and medically-vulnerable patients, who would be literally risking their lives just to cast their ballots. So a privileged few will get to decide our country’s trajectory while the people most impacted by this crisis are forced to forfeit their voice.”

Voter Fraud Plus Bait-and-Switch Equals Tyranny
The 2020 election battle has left millions of voters in a state of confusion. For a sense of clarity, they might recall a significant race from 2016.
“Voters in Oceanside, Calif., have chosen a dead man over a woman, re-electing Gary Ernst as city treasurer despite the fact that Ernst died in September,” reported National Public Radio on November 10, 2016. Challenger Nadine Scott charged that Oceanside councilman Jerry Kern urged voters to choose the dead man so he could hand-pick a successor. Kern acknowledged as much a week after the death of Ernst, telling ABC news, “vote for him anyway, because that way we can get somebody that’s qualified there.” That presages a key feature of the 2020 election.
As their candidate for president of the United States, Democrats selected Joe Biden, 77, a 47-year Senate veteran and loser in 1988 and 2008 presidential bids. In 2020, Biden says he’s running for the Senate, doesn’t know his location and claims 200 million Americans have died from Covid. And so on.
Joe may be above ground, but to all but the willfully blind he is completely incapable of carrying out the duties of the presidency, the most difficult job in the world. Democrats selected Biden for the same reason Jerry Kern urged votes for dead man Gary Ernst. They wanted to get somebody else in the office.
That would be Kamala Harris, supposedly qualified as an intersectional “woman of color.” Harris is a favorite of the “composite character” president formerly known as Barry Soetoro, who called her the “best looking attorney general in the country.” That invites a look at the way Harris became attorney general of California, and its relevance to the current campaign.
Democrat queenmaker Willie Brown also thought Harris, 30 years his junior, was good looking. In a daring act of poontronage, Brown set up Harris in lucrative sinecures and backed her runs for San Francisco district attorney and state attorney general in 2010.
Harris was so lightly regarded that the Sacramento Bee, a veritable Democrat newsletter, backed Republican Steve Cooley. On election night Cooley claimed victory, but pro-Harris SEIU drones harvested enough ballots to give Harris a “lead” of less than one percent, and the race was called in her favor. It was blatant, voter fraud of the same brand Democrats now deploy. They halt crucial vote counts that favors Trump and dredge up ballots for Biden, many delivered by the postal workers union that endorsed Biden, who helpfully clarified the issue.
In an October 24 video, Biden bragged that he had created, “the most extensive and inclusive voter fraud organization in the history of American politics.” The Democrat front-man got help from California Gov. Gavin Newsom, a crony of Nancy Pelosi. In March, Newsom deployed emergency powers to order ballots sent to every registered voter, which includes at least one million illegals registered to vote through the DMV “motor voter” plan.
On November 2, a judge ruled Newsom’s order “an unconstitutional exercise of legislative power,” too late to stop the illegals from voting. At this writing the massive fraud continues, and evokes other memories of 2016.
“Last time, in 2016, the establishment was not ready for Donald Trump,” writes Roger Kimball at American Greatness. “This time they knew it was not only possible but probable, and they prepared accordingly.” That includes the massive voter fraud openly touted by Biden and the bait-and-switch hailed by Nancy Pelosi, who announced that the bid to deploy the 25th Amendment had nothing to do with Trump. Victor Davis Hanson was already onto it.
From day one, the Democrats would begin the process of deposing Biden in favor of Harris. Biden was simply the front man, and he knew pollsters would rig the numbers to show him with a massive lead. The establishment media confirmed they had learned nothing.
Fox News polls were among the worst and on election night, as Kimball noted, Fox refused to call Florida for Trump even after he had won the state. They called Arizona for Biden when it still in play, with lines at the polls. Two days after the election, Fox refused to call Alaska and other states for Trump, even though the president’s win was clear.
Mark Levin, Jesse Waters, Judge Jeannine and Tucker Carlson are on to the Democrats’ scam, but the most astute of all may be Tyrus. As he announced on the Greg Gutfeld show in 2016, the Democrats “got their asses kicked” but “claimed they gained more yards.” In 2020 Trump is again kicking ass but Democrats bring in fake ballots by the truckload.
As in 2016, Democrats advance a corrupt ruling-class candidate. Like the dead man Gary Ernst, Democrats want people to vote for Joe Biden so they can swap him out for Kamala Harris, already a beneficiary of voter fraud and with the exception of Xavier Becerra possibly the worst attorney general in California history.

After Russia collusion, quid pro quo, “obstruction of Congress” and such, it’s clear that Democrats are still trying to overturn the 2016 election. It’s hard to blame them, given the great success of Donald Trump’s predecessor in the White House.
POTUS 44, formerly known as Barry Soetoro, put time back on the clock for Cuba’s Communist regime and helped Iranian mullahs with their cash flow, in exchange for exactly nothing. On the domestic side, the president’s eponymous health plan took away the right to choose. This prepared the way for his chosen successor, Hillary Clinton, to implement “single payer” and complete the complete transformation prophesied in 2008.
Hillary lost, Trump won, and Democrats still refuse to accept the voice of the people. Long before 2016, this rejection of the people was on display in California.
In 1978, when Jerry Brown was governor, soaring property taxes were literally driving people from their homes. Embattled Californians responded with Proposition 13, the People’s Initiative to Limit Property Taxation. This measure capped property tax rates for residential and commercial properties at 1 percent of the assessed value and prevented assessed value from growing more than 2 percent a year. The initiative also required a two-thirds vote of the legislature to enact any change in state taxes designed to increase revenues.
Proposition 13 mandated no spending or state hires, but Brown called it a fraud and a rip-off. In June of 1978, a full 65 percent of California voters approved the measure, a landslide victory. Governor Brown then proclaimed himself a born-again tax cutter but has since spearheaded a tax counterrevolution, and Proposition 13 remains under relentless attack from Democrats and their allies.
On November 4, 1986, California voters passed Proposition 63, the Official Language of California Amendment. This measure directs the state legislature to “preserve the role of English as the state’s common language” and refrain from “passing laws which diminish or ignore the role of English as the state’s common language.” A full 73 percent of California voters approved the measure, a landslide by any definition, but the people got no respect.
“In short, state legislators and public officials acted as if Prop. 63 never existed, “wrote Orange County Register columnist Gordon Dillow in 2006. Some level of proficiency in English is a requirement for American citizenship, in turn a requirement for voting. Yet, in 2016, the California voter guide came in English, Spanish, Korean, Chinese, Japanese, Tagalog, and Vietnamese. For 2018, Secretary of State Alex Padilla, a Democrat, added Punjabi, Hmong, Syriac, Armenian, Persian, and Arabic.
The University of California serves the top 12.5 percent of the graduating high-school class. Since the seventies, the UC had been rejecting highly qualified applicants and reserving spots for “minorities” not academically qualified. In 1996, Californians passed the California Civil Rights Initiative, Proposition 209, ending racial, ethnic, and gender preferences in state-college admissions, state employment, and state contracting.
University of California boss Janet Napolitano, a high-profile Democrat and former Arizona governor, derided the measure as a “legal barrier,” to “diversity.” Napolitano hailed a “partnership” with Mexico and made the UC a sanctuary system, founding and funding the UC Center for Undocumented Student Legal Services. The 4,000 or so illegals now in the UC system pay in-state tuition and Napolitano granted them a $25.2 million aid package, with no compensation from the governments of the illegals’ home countries.
In K-12, California had been teaching Mexican students primarily in Spanish, which hurt their prospects in higher education and the job market. In 1998, Californians passed Proposition 227, the English Language in Public Schools statute, which ended so-called “bilingual education.” Democrats have done everything in their power to block the measure and reforms through ballot measures now face more obstacles.

The Democrats give illegals welfare, taxpayer-funded health care, in-state tuition and protect them from deportation through sanctuary laws. In return, the illegals vote for Democrats and the ballot measures the want. The illegals function as the Democrats imported electoral college, canceling the vote of legitimate citizens and legal immigrants, blocking reform and keeping Democrats in power. Maybe that is what Michael Bloomberg had in mind when he called California “a great example for the rest of this country.”
Meanwhile, in 2020, Democrats don’t want the people to select the president. They want their party to remove the president from office, and some never-Trump Republicans will doubtless go along. As President Trump says, we’ll have to see what happens but one thing remains clear.
Under any Democrat running for office, particularly Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren, you wouldn’t get what you want. You would get only what the government wants you to have. That was the plan of POTUS 44’s chosen successor, and that’s why Democrats have never accepted the voice of the people in 2016.

Becerra has publicly defended MEChA, even though the Chicano supremacist group evangelizes discrimination against non-Hispanics and calls for the killing of Border Patrol “pigs.” MEChA’s rallying cry is: “For the race, everything; For those outside the race, nothing.” KATY GRIMES
