18 Democrats Will Abandon the House — More than Triple GOP Needs to Win Back Majority

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA) ambitions of keeping the Democrat majority in the House of Representatives past the midterm elections next year are dwindling as droves of vulnerable Democrats have announced they are leaving their current seats to either retire or seek a different office instead of fighting in a brutal reelection.

Republicans only need to net five seats to pick up the House majority after the midterms. So far, more than triple the amount of Democrats (18 total) have decided to officially call it quits on the House and have left their seats open for a fight, giving Republicans a chance to gain another seat since House Republicans only need to net five seats to gain the majority and retire Pelosi as Speaker.

Vulnerable Democrats will be facing tough reelection battles across the county, having to campaign in districts that more than likely have different lines after redistricting in addition to their having sided with President Joe Biden on many key partisan issues, as his approval numbers after only holding office for ten months have tanked.

This week, vulnerable Democrat Rep. Tom Suozzi (D-NY), a loyal confidant of Pelosi, was the eighteenth House Democrat to announce he will be leaving the House to join the crowded race for New York governor. He will be leaving behind a largely suburban district, which would be tough for Democrats to hold without a strong incumbent. This willl potentially give Republicans a pickup seat in New York because Democrats have struggled to find new candidates willing to run for office.

Suozzi joined the ten Democrats who announced they are retiring from public office after the current term, which expires in January 2023: Reps. Filemon Vela (D-TX) and Ann Kirkpatrick (D-AZ) announced their retirements in March; Rep. Cheri Bustos (D-IL), the former Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) Chairwoman, announced she would not seek reelection in April; scandal-ridden Rep. Ron Kind (D-WI) announced he would be retiring in August; House Budget Committee Chairman Rep. John Yarmuth (D-KY) announced, along with longtime Reps. David Price (D-NC) and Mike Doyle (D-PA), they would both not be seeking reelection in October; Rep. Jackie Speier (D-CA) announced, along with longtime Rep. G.K. Butterfield (D-NC) and House Science, Space, and Technology Committee Chairwoman Eddie Bernice Johnson, they would both not seek reelection in November.

Additionally, seven have announced they are running for a different office: Rep. Tim Ryan (D-OH) announced in April he would be running for the U.S. Senate seat in his home state being vacated by retiring Sen. Rob Portman (R-OH); Rep. Charlie Crist (D-FL) announced in May he is running for governor in Florida, after previously being governor in the state as a Republican from 2007 to 2011; Rep. Val Demings (D-FL) announced in June she would run for a U.S. Senate seat in the Sunshine State; Rep. Conor Lamb (D-PA) announced in August, he would be running for the U.S. Senate seat in his home state being vacated by retiring Sen. Pat Toomey (R-PA); Rep. Karen Bass (D-CA) announced in September her candidacy for the Los Angeles mayoral race to replace outgoing Mayor Eric Garcetti (D); Rep. Anthony Brown (D-MD) announced in October he would run for Maryland Attorney General; and Rep. Peter Welch (D-VT) announced in November he would be running for the U.S. Senate seat in his home state being vacated by retiring Sen. Patrick Leahy (D-VT).

With the news of retirements and members seeking other offices, there is rumored to be more from Democrats abandoning ship in the coming months leading up to the election. In addition, there have been reports of Pelosi herself contemplating leaving elected office.

Mike Berg, the spokesman for the National Republican Congressional Committee, which is in charge of helping Republican incumbents and winning back the House majority, told Breitbart News exclusively that “Nobody wants to run as a House Democrat this cycle because all Democrats’ majority has given the American people is higher prices, skyrocketing crime, and open borders.”

Breitbart News has extensively reported on Pelosi’s majority crumbling in the past. Democrats have struggled to find new candidates to run in some congressional districts, along with some Democrat recruits dropping out of races. This comes as some members are yet to announce their intentions for next year, which will continue to sink Pelosi’s chances of keeping the majority.

At the same time, Democrats will have to get elected in some entirely new districts. In October, embattled Rep. Vicente Gonzalez (D-TX) announced that he is abandoning his constituents and his seat to run in a new district instead of for reelection in his now-competitive congressional district. Republican opponents have long sought out the seat he currently holds.

In September, a report from Politico outlined that House Democrats spent their last two elections (2018 and 2020) talking about their achievements unseating members in red districts — which have since gotten more competitive over the years. This happened as the majority of the districts where millions of dollars and hundreds of hours were spent fighting Republicans could disappear after redistricting.

President Joe Biden saw his lowest job approval numbers. Biden’s job approval found a new low of 36.4 percent during the first nine months of his presidency, according to a Zogby poll. While the poll also found that 61.3 percent of the respondents gave Biden a negative rating, the president was underwater with all age categories, particularly the younger generation of voters between 18 and 29, which viewed him 63 percent negatively and only 34 percent positively.

Road Trip: Kamala Harris and Pete Buttigieg Plan Trip to Promote Infrastructure

Vice President Kamala Harris and Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg will travel to North Carolina for an event together on Thursday to promote infrastructure.

Harris will travel to North Carolina with Buttigieg for an event in Charlotte, where she will deliver remarks to promote President Joe Biden’s infrastructure bill that he signed on November 15.

The two Democrat leaders travel together as rumors intensify about the likelihood of either of the two running for president in the future, once Biden is finished.

Buttigieg is seen by most Democrats as thriving in his new position, while inside Washington prominent Democrats quietly question what’s wrong with Harris and her team.

Harris’s team expressed frustration that Buttigieg rumors continue circulating, some describing the buzz as disrespectful to the vice president in conversations with reporters.

Buttigieg remained coy about his a future run for office in an interview with TMZ.

“I sincerely don’t know if I’m ever going to run for office again,” he said. “You should only run if there’s a moment that you think the only way or the best way to respond is to step forward.”

Buttigieg has dismissed the rumors as “parlor games.”

“There’s no room to get caught up in the parlor games, and I’m proud to be part of the Biden-Harris team,” he said during an interview on NBC.

Harris told ABC News host George Stephanopoulos in an interview she and Biden were “absolutely not,” discussing 2024.

The downward trend for Biden follows a string of issues concerning the American people, including the economy, as inflation hits hard and food and gas prices skyrocket this holiday season.

Pete Buttigieg: Rural Drivers Should Buy Electric Cars Because They Use the Most Gas

Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg said Sunday rural and suburban voters should buy electric cars because they burn the most gasoline.

“The people who stand to benefit most from owning an EV are often rural residents, who have the longest distances to drive, they often burn the most gas,” Buttigieg said in an interview with MSNBC’s Jonathan Capehart.

He also argued low-income suburban drivers would benefit from electric vehicles because gas near urban areas was more expensive.

“They would gain the most from having that vehicle, but these are the very residents who have not always been connected to electric vehicles that are viewed as kind of a luxury item,” Buttigieg said.

He promoted Biden’s Build Back Better social entitlement bill for restoring a tax credit of up to $12,500 for union-made electric vehicles, noting “families who once they own that vehicle will never have to worry about gas prices again.”

Buttigieg’s comments track with the White House messaging for all Americans concerned by high gas prices to buy an electric car.

President Joe Biden touted electric cars as a way to beat high gas prices in a speech last week.

“For the hundreds of thousands of folks who bought one of those electric cars, they’re going to save $800 to $1000 in fuel costs this year,” Biden said, referring to the $112,595 electric Hummer pickup he test drove at a General Motors factory in Detroit earlier this month

Secretary of Energy Jennifer Granholm said last week the best strategy to tackle high gas prices was to get Americans off fossil fuels and onto clean energy and electric cars.

“That is the best strategy long term to protect American consumers from these energy price shocks,” she said.

Shipping Crisis Goes From Bad To Worse As Ports Shut Down And Push Shortages To Soar By 400 Percent

Is Pete Buttigieg doing anything other than running for office?

A culprit is emerging from the supply chain crisis in the minds of voters and it's not good news for Democrats.

Here's what a new poll from I&I/TIPP, via Issues & Insights' Terry Jones, has found:

...the November I&I/TIPP Poll shows Americans overwhelmingly blame our Potomac-based political class for the current problems.

The poll asked: “In general, how responsible are politicians in Washington for recent increases in gasoline and food prices?” The answer suggests coal (or perhaps tiny solar panels?) in many politicians’ stockings this year: 69% of those responding said politicians were responsible, while just 21% said they weren’t.

Perhaps the most surprising result comes from looking at the political breakdown. There is little, if any, difference between Democrats (71%), Republicans (73%) and independents/others (68%). Finally, something on which all the major parties can agree.
Sure enough, the Biden administration has achieved 'unity' all right. Every party now agrees that the Biden administration is incompetent. Democrats, who have no understanding of inflation as a strictly monetary phenomenon (read this) are just astute enough to recognize that inflation has some kind of tie with supply chain failures, though, and those supply chain failures are things that people can see in front of them as factories shut down and workers get laid off for lack of spare parts. More specifically, they recognize that the supply chain mess is damaging their electoral prospects. They're actually getting scared (Hat tip: Instapundit).

Which brings us to Pete Buttigieg, Joe Biden's Secretary of Transportation. What's the man in charge of the supply chain in the administration with Biden's name on it doing? Well, aside from going on an extended paternity leave without telling anyone at the height of the crisis, and then using criticism of the matter as a bully pulpit in favor of it on the Sunday talk shows, he's been busy talking about racist highways, carrying on about the matter for about two weeks running ... as the supply chain issue continues to be a problem.

Meanwhile, his pals in Washington and at a friendly nearby ivy have put out tripe like this this past weekend:

Which is laughable. Both candidates are utterly unpopular and doing their "fair share" to drag the Democrats under. In addition to that, the pair hate each other, with Kamala's camp last seen accusing the Buttigieg camp of leaking mean stories about their candidate.

So now we have Buttigieg or someone aligned to him launchin weather balloons about his next job as if it's a campaign. Coming in the middle of a bona fide supply chain crisis, it seems that someone's got his priorities on backwards.

Buttigieg seems to be running for office rather than running the department of Transportation and focusing on the job around supply chain issues that the voters have paid him to do. Harris has always been accused by her many detractors of 'running for her next job.' It seems that Buttigieg, who's taken Harris's failed response to the border crisis as a how-to guide, has decided to follow in her footsteps. Yet it's strange to see that happening as the poll shows that voters are blaming Democrats for the supply chain crisis. Rather than solve anything, they just run for office some more.

It's time for Pete to put up or get out, He's got a job to do as the supply chain continues to fail and he's not doing it. Biden should get rid of him, to ensure that the entire Democrat party comes crashing and burning down now, come November 2022. They aren't fooling the voters anymore.

Back to Work: Joe Biden Emerges from Five-Day Vacation to Address Omicron Variant, Supply Chains

President Joe Biden has returned to the White House after his five-day Thanksgiving vacation with plans to address the country on critical issues.

The president returned Sunday evening after spending five days on Nantucket Island with his family, remaining mostly private.

He spoke briefly with reporters as he attended a Christmas tree lighting ceremony on the island and also went shopping.

Biden will address the nation on his administration’s efforts to combat the Omicron variant of the coronavirus on Monday, according to the White House, as well as supply chain difficulties during the Christmas season after meeting with retail CEOs.

First Lady Jill Biden is also expected to reveal the White House decorations for the holiday season on Monday afternoon. Her theme this year is “Gifts from the Heart.”

Later in the week, Biden will travel to Rosemount, Minnesota to promote his infrastructure and social entitlement spending bill.

He will also commemorate World Aids Day, celebrate Hanukkah, and again address the ongoing battle against coronavirus before lighting the National Christmas tree on Thursday.

On Friday, Biden will react to the November jobs report.

Biden’s schedule does not include visiting Waukesha, Wisconsin after the horrific Christmas Parade attack that killed six and wounded over 60. Seven children are still hospitalized from the attack.

The president also has no plans to address rising crime and reports of the growing looting of retail stores.

President Biden’s Average Approval Rating Sinks to 41.6 Percent

President Joe Biden’s approval rating is now underwater by double digits, over 10 months into his presidency, Friday’s RealClearPolitics’ average shows.

RCP’s average of polls, which includes Rasmussen Reports, Economist/YouGov, NPR/PBS/Marist, Reuters/Ipsos, Fox News, Politico/Morning Consult, Quinnipiac, ABC News/Washington Post, Gallup, Monmouth, Federalist/Susquehanna, USA Today/Suffolk, Emerson, and CNN, currently shows Biden’s approval rating sitting at 41.6 percent. A majority, 53.1 percent disapprove of Biden’s job performance, giving him a net negative of 11.5 percent.

Every single poll listed showed Biden’s approval underwater, several by double digits. The USA Today/Suffolk survey, for instance, has Biden underwater by 21 percent, garnering an abysmal 38 percent approval rating. Similarly, Federalist/Susquehanna showed Biden -16, with 36 percent approving and 52 percent disapproving.

The downward trend for Biden follows a string of issues concerning the American people, including the economy, as inflation hits hard and food and gas prices skyrocket this holiday season.

While Biden originally dismissed inflation as a temporary problem, he admitted this month that it is, indeed, “worrisome.” This week, Biden “ordered the release of tens of millions of barrels of oil from the strategic reserve in a move to bring down prices at the pump” — a move that many criticized, asserting that such measures should not be used to reverse bad policy.

Biden’s downward spiral in approval ratings also comes months after Biden’s botched withdrawal from Afghanistan, where 13 U.S. servicemembers lost their lives and Americans were left behind, as Biden abided by the Taliban-approved timeline for withdrawal.

Nevertheless, President Biden departed early for his Thanksgiving vacation in Nantucket this week as word of another coronavirus variant of concern began to emerge, prompting the United Kingdom to suspend flights from South Africa, Botswana, Lesotho, Eswatini, Namibia and Zimbabwe.

Report: Far-Left Weighs Benching Joe Biden After 2022 Midterms

The far-left is weighing whether to bench President Joe Biden if the 2022 midterms overwhelm his sinking agenda amid unpopular polling numbers, the Hill reported Monday.

“While campaign season is still nearly three years out and Biden is the unequivocal leader of the party,” some on the far-left are “predicting that if the administration’s poll numbers don’t improve with more deliverables, the grassroots and disgruntled liberals will seek another candidate to compete for the nomination.”

Biden’s approval rating is 42 percent, according to a left-leaning NPR/Marist poll on November 24. The poll indicated that Biden’s policies have not improved several crises the Biden-Harris administration is facing, such as inflation, the southern border crisis, and declining wages. Only 43 percent believe Biden has delivered on his campaign promise of unifying the country.

Biden’s poor polling numbers, reflecting his failed policies, have several Democrats ready for a 2024 presidential opportunity. Even Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) remains in the conversation as a contender.

“There is a strong possibility, obviously, that the current vice president may seek the presidency again,” Nina Turner, former co-chair for Sanders in 2020, told the outlet. “And there’s an even stronger possibility that others will be seeking the presidency, including people on the progressive left.”

“If President Joe Biden does not seek reelection for whatever reason, that makes this a totally open seat. Period,” Turner added, hinting at Sanders’ potential interest in the presidency.

Biden has said many times he intends to run again in 2024, though speculation indicates he may not. If Biden does not run again, Vice President Kamala Harris and Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg would likely enter the race as potential top tier candidates.

Biden’s 2024 decision may be dependent on how successful the Democrat Party is at defending the House and Senate in the 2022 midterms.

“We just need to keep pounding [Republicans] and we don’t do it,” Rep. John Yarmuth (D-KY) told Politico about Biden’s weakness. “We want to talk about policy.”

After the red wave around the nation from early November elections, Biden doubled down on his radical policies that voters rejected. It seems Biden’s remedy for the election debacle is to continue pushing an unpopular agenda in hopes voters will change their minds.

Biden’s decision to stay the course and push his radical policies over the finish line has not improved his battleground state polling, a terrible sign for the Democrat Party’s hopes of holding the House and Senate.

Only 39 percent of voters in battleground districts support Biden’s Build Back Better agenda, according to a National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) poll after the November election. Forty-six percent oppose it.

The legislative items Biden is trying to sell voters within the Build Back Better agenda include subsidized prescription drug prices, Medicare coverage to cover hearing services, two free years of community college, amnesty, free housing, and free child care.

It is also unlikely Biden’s radical agenda will completely come to fruition. Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) and Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) oppose many of Biden’s proposed items. If Biden’s agenda is derailed by the senators, the president’s pitch to midterm voters will have less credibility, thereby impacting his 2024 reelection hopes.

Josh Rogin: Hunter Biden Has Done Business with ‘All Sorts of Shady Foreign Actors’ and Helped China Secure Crucial Resources

1:57

On Wednesday’s broadcast of Fox News Radio’s “Brian Kilmeade Show,” author, Washington Post columnist, and CNN Political Analyst Josh Rogin stated that American elites have helped China secure vital resources in other countries, “And Hunter Biden’s one of them. But he’s not the only one, and he’s been doing it for years, for ten years, along with his uncle.” And that the Biden family, especially Hunter, “has been doing business with all sorts of shady foreign actors for all of these years.”

Rogin stated, “[T]he real action is that this competition with China is on and it’s happening all over the world, including in Africa. And the Chinese government is playing it ruthlessly, okay. And when you read those articles, it’s like, oh, well, even in the Nixon administration, [they] knew that you had to go to these countries and try to secure vital resources and help them out in the process if you can. We didn’t always do it well, okay. But that’s different than, like, letting the Chinese government come in. Because you know that’s going to be worse. And the reason that article was important is because it shows how our elites, on both sides of the aisle, by the way, helped the Chinese do it, okay. And Hunter Biden’s one of them. But he’s not the only one, and he’s been doing it for years, for ten years, along with his uncle.”

He added, “If you really want to drain the swamp, then you have to stop American elites taking millions of dollars from Chinese state-owned entities in order to advance their interests against ours.”

Rogin further stated, “[T]he Biden family, especially Hunter Biden, has been doing business with all sorts of shady foreign actors for all of these years.”

Hunter Biden’s Corrupt Shell Company Named After Deceased Mother’s Birthplace; Map Tattooed on His Back

Hunter Biden appears to have named his corrupt, Chinese-linked shell company Skaneateles after the town where his deceased mother was born — a map of which Hunter also has tattooed on his back, according to images from his laptop.

Skaneateles is the name of a town in New York State between Rochester and Syracuse. Skaneateles means “long lake,” which is a part of the Finger Lakes in central New York State.

While Skaneateles is Hunter’s deceased mother’s birthplace, it is also the name of Hunter’s shell company that reportedly has deep connections to Communist China.

Hunter’s ties to Communist China entail a complicated web of transactions over several years during and after the time his father, Joe Biden, was vice president.

Through an entity named Skaneateles, Hunter reportedly profited from orchestrating the sale of an American-owned cobalt mine in the Democratic Republic of Congo for $2.65 billion.

Chinese investors, who have close ties to the Chinese Communist Party, a transnational organized crime group, have reportedly ended up with a majority stake in the mine due to Hunter’s efforts.

On Sunday, Breitbart News reported Hunter’s involvement in divesting the United States of energy resources by peddling his government connections:

The transactions concluded with China Molybdenum owning 80 percent of the mine — a classic tale of the elites benefiting from the United States’ managed decline.

Hunter’s company reportedly obtained a ten percent share in the mine, which he sold to China Molybdenum from a Washington company named Skaneateles — which he also owns a stake in.

Skaneateles reportedly still owns a stake in BHR, though the Times reported Hunter “no longer holds any interest, directly or indirectly, in either BHR or Skaneateles,” according to Hunter’s lawyer Chris Clark.

It is unknown how much money Hunter profited from the corrupt deal, but CNN reported Hunter is under FBI investigation for money laundering in likely connection with Skaneateles.

Hunter’s tattoo has not escaped notice from those in the media or on social media.

“Fun fact: Today I learned that Hunter Biden has a tattoo of the Finger Lakes across his back in honor of his mother Neilia (born in Skaneateles),” Corey Ryan Earle, a visiting lecturer at Cornell University, tweeted.

In another tweet, which has since been deleted because the account was canceled by Twitter, Richard Rigg noted the connections between the tattoo and Hunter’s corrupt business ventures.

“There’s a Lucifer Falls in the Finger Lakes. Hunter B has the finger lakes tattooed on his back. Finger Lakes has a submarine base. Seneca Lake. Rosemont Seneca. This is getting very interesting,” Rigg wrote.

The New York Times seemed to defend the tattoo as a part of Hunter’s artistic nature. In an interview with Hunter’s wife, Melissa Cohen, the Times favorably reported the tattoo.

The Times wrote, “The day after their first date, Mr. Biden tattooed the Hebrew word ‘shalom’ — for peace — on his left bicep, giving the couple matching tattoos. (He also has a tattoo of New York’s Finger Lakes region on his back, because his mother grew up there.)”

“It’s very abstract, sometimes very dark,” Cohen said about Hunter’s art. “It draws a lot from nature.”

HUNTER AND JOE BIDEN: CHINA'S RENT BOYS!

There it is.  That's the issue.  To begin, you have the corrupt family Biden.  They've been scamming us and our system well for almost fifty years.  The man is supposedly worth over 250 million dollars.  How is this possible on his salary?  It's not.  So where did his wealth come from?  Not from being a brilliant businessman. DAVID PRENTICE

The American people knew what they were getting with Trump: A flamboyant man who had sown his wild oats, raised five extremely successful children, and loved America. Naïve American people had no idea what they were getting with Biden: A senile, corrupt, debauched old man with a son who was a conduit for his dirty dealings and who has a personal life so disgusting it’s hard to write about it. That’s what the American media and the tech tyrants have done to America.

Hunter Biden will be a top priority for Republicans: Rep. Comer

What’s really baffling is Hunter’s success with women. Despite being a total loser with a terrible drug habit and some weird sexual perversions, Hunter managed to seduce his brother’s widow, her sister, a stripper, and the woman he married, all over the course of four years. It’s enough to make one think that Hunter’s charm had less to do with the man himself and more with the benefits flowing from the Biden family cartel. ANDREA WIDBERG

As a senator, Biden vigorously voted for several similar bills. In short, based on his voting record, Joe Biden is not (and never was) a champion of disadvantaged Americans, unless you consider multi-billion-dollar credit card corporations and millionaires “disadvantaged.” Chris Talgo

Biden lied about his undergraduate degree and his majors, lied about his rank in law school, lied aboutscholarships and educational aid he had  received, lied about his stance toward the Vietnam  war while in college, lied about his plagiarism of  other politician's writings and speeches, lied about  the circumstances around his first wife's fatal  accident, lied about how he met his second and  current wife, and lied about the affair they were having when they were both married.                                                        MARK CHRISTIAN

Most recently and dramatically, Biden lied about his knowledge of his son's shady dealings,  lied about his own involvement in corruption and ribery, and lied about his current presidential agenda and what he wants to implement in regards to energy, fracking, court-packing, health care, education, and COVID among other issues.

THE BIDEN KLEPTOCRACY

American people deserve to know what China was up to with Joe Biden, especially when Beijing had already shelled out millions of dollars to Biden family members — including millions in set-asides for “the big guy.” What else is on that infamous Hunter Biden laptop? The conflicted Biden Justice Department cannot be trusted to engage in any meaningful oversight on this issue. We need a special counsel now.

Hunter Biden, China, electric batteries, and child slavery

Not to mince words, Hunter Biden is a disgusting human being. It’s not just the drugs, the strippers, the abandoned children, the prostitutes, the sleazy self-pornographic videos, or his latest art scam. It’s also that he has no compunction about doing business with some of the world’s worst actors or with people hostile to America. The latest example is the news that, back in 2016, Hunter Biden’s investment firm—and keep in mind that he’s always been his daddy’s bag man—helped broker a deal that sold a valuable African cobalt mine to a state-backed Chinese company. Cobalt, of course, is essential for the batteries running the electric cars the Biden administration is trying to force Americans to buy.

The New York Post summarizes the story:

The deal, first reported by the Washington Free Beacon during the 2020 presidential campaign, was spotlighted by the New York Times Saturday as Congress inches closer to approving President Biden’s $2 trillion social spending plan, which earmarks billions of dollars to promote electric vehicles.

In 2016, an investment firm founded by Hunter Biden with several Chinese partners was cut into a complex $3.8 billion transaction that transferred 80 percent of Congo’s Tenke Fungurum mine from an American company to Beijing-backed China Molybdenum.

President Joe Biden, Hunter Biden’s father, was the sitting vice president when the deal was struck.

The mine is one of the world’s largest sources of cobalt — and China’s control of the mineral “presents a critical vulnerability to the future of the U.S. domestic auto industry,” Biden’s White House reported in June.

Here’s the funny thing: We’re being asked to believe that “Joe Biden had no knowledge of his son’s involvement with the sale”—at least according to a White House spokesman who talked to The New York Times.

So, what’s wrong with Hunter’s conduct in this regard? So many things:

Image: Child slavery in an African cobalt mine. YouTube screen grab. The eight-year-old boy laboring in the dirt and mud had gone without food for two days when this video was shot.

The climate change con and the green energy scam will destroy America’s economy and the modern American lifestyle. We function at the level we do because of fossil fuel—and, absent a commitment to nuclear energy, renewables will never provide even a fraction of the energy America needs to maintain its current standard of living. China, of course, is making no promises whatsoever to cut back its coal and petroleum use any time soon. It intends to grow both its manufacturing sector and its military using old-fashioned fossil fuels.

As part of the relentless push for green energy, leftists are enacting policies forcing people into electric cars. Not only must the energy to charge those cars must come from somewhere, but the cars also won’t work without a battery—and those batteries are entirely dependent on cobalt. That’s where we get to Hunter’s role in selling a massive cobalt mine to a Chinese Communist Party-owned company.

So, even as the Democrats relentlessly force Americans into electric cars, Hunter played a huge role, while daddy was Veep, in handing to the Chinese (our primary geopolitical rival and, let me say it, enemy) an essential element required to make those batteries. That’s just wrong.

But there’s something even more deeply wrong with what Hunter did. Cobalt mines in Africa run on slave labor—child slave labor:

The likelihood that the mine involved in the sale that Hunter helped broker (and by that I mean from which he profited, which or not he was directly involved in the deal) uses child labor is enormous. This is especially true given that China has no problem with slave labor, whether it’s convicted criminals or people arrested simply for being Uighurs.

As an aside, China also happily harvests organs from these same prisoners so that it can profit from organ transplant surgeries. I don’t see China being squeamish about six-year-old African children—and China is loathsomely racist against Africans—working and dying in cobalt mines.

No matter how you look at it, Hunter Biden’s involvement in the sale is bad: It’s bad for American national security, it’s bad for America’s economy and lifestyle, and it’s morally bad because it means that Biden’s son (and probably Biden) profited from this sale and from the child slavery that almost certainly accompanies it.

The White House has seen some troublesome children over the centuries but I do not think there has ever been the son of an Oval office occupant as totally disgusting, amoral, and anti-American as Hunter Biden, Joe Biden’s designated bagman.

Nancy Pelosi, a horrid woman equally as without heart and soul, on Tuesday refused to have the names of the thirteen soldiers killed in Kabul read out on the floor of the House.  That should permanently indict her for being the wicked witch she is.  She is more devious, more calculating than the irresponsible Biden but every bit as beyond redemption as he is.  She will do anything to try to convince the American people, for whom she has only contempt, that whatever she and her party do is righteous no matter how loathsome and totalitarian.  PATRICIA McCARTHY

Feinstein has come under scrutiny for China-related matters before. She said last year that China was "growing into a respectable nation" and cautioned against holding China accountable for the coronavirus pandemic. Feinstein also employed a suspected Chinese spy as a congressional aide for nearly two decades. She supported expanded trade relations with China while her husband sought business deals in the country.

Report: Hunter Biden Profited from Joe Biden Losing Energy Race with Communist China

Hunter Biden profited from helping a Chinese firm acquire cobalt mines from an American company, according to a report released just days after President Joe Biden admitted the United States is “losing our edge” on Communist China in control of the essential natural resource.

“We risked losing our edge as a nation, and China and the rest of the world are catching up,” Biden admitted last week.

Communist China controls much of the raw minerals needed to create clean energy. A mineral named cobalt is specifically in high demand because it is used for the production of battery-powered vehicles.

While electric cars are highly subsidized by the United States government in order to reduce “climate change,” car manufactures must deal with China to obtain batteries made from cobalt.

Cobalt is found in the Democratic Republic of Congo, where more than two-thirds of the world’s cobalt supply originates, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

In recent years, American elites have allowed — if not enabled — Chinese-backed companies to buy “two of the country’s largest cobalt deposits over the past five years,” the New York Times reported.

One of those companies is a private equity firm registered in Shanghai in which Hunter Biden reportedly owned a stake, along with business partners Eric Schwerin and John Kerry’s stepson, Christopher Heinz. (John Kerry was Secretary of State under Barack Obama and now is President Biden’s climate envoy).

Hunter, Heinz, and Schwerin “joined Chinese partners in establishing the firm in 2013, known as BHR and formally named Bohai Harvest RST (Shanghai) Equity Investment Fund Management Company,” the Times reported.

Hunter, Heinz, and Schwerin reportedly owned 30 percent of the BHR while 70 percent of BHR was “controlled by Chinese investors that include the Bank of China, according to records filed with Chinese regulators.”

It should be noted the Bank of China possesses close ties to the Chinese Communist Party.

Just after then-Vice President Biden left office with Barack Obama in 2016, Hunter, Heinz, Schwerin, and Bank of China successfully “bought and later sold a stake in CATL, a fast-growing Chinese company that is now the world’s biggest maker of batteries for electric vehicles.”

The Times also reported that in 2016, a Chinese mining company, China Molybdenum, bought a cobalt mine for $2.65 billion from an American company named Freeport-McMoRan.

Through a complex web of transactions via shell companies, Hunter’s company, BHR, was reportedly a part of the purchase of Freeport-McMoRan with China Molybdenum, by raising money from Chinese investors to purchase ownership shares in the mine.

It is unknown how much Hunter profited from using his network of connections while his father was vice president. Emails from Hunter’s laptop indicate “he was told on multiple occasions by his business partner Eric Schwerin that he could expect to receive significant payments from BHR beginning in 2019,” the Daily Caller reported in May.

The complex financial maneuvers have allegedly caught the eye of the FBI. In December of 2020, CNN announced the FBI had been investigating Hunter and his associates since 2018 for violating “tax and money laundering laws in business dealings in foreign countries, principally China, according to two people briefed on the probe.”

The probe is reportedly still ongoing.

Nevertheless, Hunter’s business dealings have likely come at the expense of the United States. Instead of working to keep the United States in control of mines and natural resources across the globe, Hunter presumably divested the United States of energy resources by peddling his government connections.

House Democrats pass stripped-down social welfare bill with massive tax cut for the rich

House speaker Nancy Pelosi

On Friday morning, the House of Representatives passed its version of President Joe Biden’s $1.75 trillion “Build Back Better” social welfare and climate bill. As expected, the measure was approved on a party-line vote, with 220 Democrats voting “Yes” and all 212 Republicans voting “No.” One Democrat, Jared Golden of Maine, a conservative former Marine who served tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan, broke ranks and voted in opposition to the bill.

Golden had announced that he would oppose the bill because it included a massive tax break for the wealthy. The outcome of months of internal Democratic Party wrangling was the decision of the Biden White House and the party leadership to strip the bill of all major tax increases opposed by big business and slash the top line figure for social programs and climate protection in half, from $3.25 trillion to $1.75 trillion over 10 years.

That, however, did not satisfy the Wall Street and corporate interests that dictate government policy and control both major parties. Earlier this month, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi incorporated into the bill a measure demanded by wealthy donors in high-tax states such as New York, New Jersey and California. It was the lifting of a $10,000 cap on deductions on federal income taxes to compensate for state and local taxes. The cap was imposed as part of the Trump tax bill passed in December of 2017, which slashed taxes for corporations and the wealthy.

Until then, there was no limit on the amount of federal tax deductions for state and local taxes that wealthy people in generally pro-Democratic high-tax states could claim by itemizing their federal tax returns. In imposing the limit, Trump and the Republicans were targeting states that historically vote “blue” in federal elections.

This infuriated the Democrats’ wealthy backers, who demanded that the Biden budget bill raise the limit on so-called SALT (state and local tax) deductions. The Democrats acceded by adding to the bill a provision raising the limit to $80,000 for each of the next nine years.

The Congressional Budget Office estimates that this tax windfall for the wealthy will cost the federal government $285 billion over the 10-year span covered by the bill, making it the second most costly item in the legislation. It is topped only by a combined $390 billion for universal pre-school for three- and four-year-old children and limited subsidies for child care.

It is considerably higher than the allocation for clean energy and climate resilience ($220 billion), four weeks of paid family and medical leave ($195 billion), clean energy and electricity tax credits ($190 billion), affordable housing ($170 billion), Medicaid home- and community-based services ($150 billion), a one-year extension of the expanded child tax credit ($130 billion), and tax credits for health insurance premiums under Obamacare ($125 billion).

It would help pay for programs that were severely cut or dropped outright from the bill under pressure from big business and its most open mouthpieces in the Democratic Party, such as senators Joe Manchin of West Virginia and Kyrsten Sinema of Arizona. These include free community college (eliminated); the ability of Medicare to negotiate drug prices with the pharmaceutical industry, thereby lowering their costs (reduced to a shell program affecting only a handful of drugs and not even starting until 2024); and Medicare coverage for dental, hearing and vision (reduced to limited subsidies for hearing aids).

According to an analysis by the Tax Policy Center, the SALT tax provision will overwhelmingly benefit the top 10 percent of income earners, with virtually nothing going to the remaining 90 percent, i.e., the working class and lower-middle class. The measure will particularly benefit the top one percent, those who make over $867,000 a year. They will see a tax cut in the tens of thousands of dollars.

“Anything you do to eliminate the SALT cap is going to be regressive, because that tax is overwhelmingly paid by very high-income people,” said Howard Gleckman of the Tax Policy Center. “Anything you do to lower that tax doesn’t matter for most people.”

The Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget (CRFB) reported that a family of four in Washington D.C. making $1 million per year would receive 10 times as much tax relief next year from expanding the state and local tax deductions as a middle-class family would receive from an expansion of the child tax credit. The CRFB said that two-thirds of households making more than $1 million a year would get a tax cut under the legislation because of the increase in the state and local property tax deduction.

Pointing to the brazen hypocrisy of Biden and the Democratic Party, Marx Goldwein, senior policy director at the CRFB, said, “We’re debating about whether to give lower- and middle-class families a thousand dollars more a year through the child tax credit, while giving upper-class families $10,000 or more through SALT. That’s counter to everything the Democrats have been saying Build Back Better is about and everything they said about the Trump tax cuts.”

According to a report from the Tax Foundation, raising the SALT cap would more than offset other tax increases for the wealthy in 2022 included in the House bill. These include a 15 percent minimum corporate tax, a 1 percent tax on stock buybacks, increased taxes on US companies’ foreign profits, and a surtax of 5 percent on those with adjusted gross income over $10 million and 8 percent on those making more than $25 million.

In a column in the Financial Times on Thursday, Edward Luce alluded to the Democrats’ obsession with identity politics and linked it to the Build Back Better bill:

The result is a bill that caters best to the most powerful slice of Americans—the very wealthy. They can sleep easy now that the carried interest loophole, which allows private equity partners to be taxed at lower than ordinary income rates—as Warren Buffett pointed out, they pay a lower tax rate than their secretaries—is probably safe. As it stands, the bill will also give wealthy Americans a bigger tax cut than they got from Trump’s big 2017 tax bill.

Even this miserable travesty of social reform will be further gutted if not blocked outright in the Senate, where passage will require the support of all 50 Democrats. Neither Manchin nor Sinema has signed on to the bill, the former having declared his opposition to even a completely inadequate a four-week paid leave provision, while calling for means testing and work requirements for other social benefits.

The so-called “progressives”—Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren in the Senate, the more than 100-strong House Progressive Caucus—capitulated to the demand of Biden and the most right-wing factions in the Democratic caucuses to pass the $1 trillion bipartisan infrastructure bill. This bill was backed by virtually every corporate lobby group, without having secured the agreement of Manchin and Sinema to support Senate passage of the broader “Build Back Better” social spending bill, against which the corporations have waged a massive lobbying campaign.

Sanders, for his part, has denounced the inclusion of the SALT provision in the House bill but is supporting a modified version in the Senate bill, according to which eligibility for expanded tax deductions would be limited to people making less than $400,000 a year. On the other hand, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, widely known as the “senator from Wall Street,” is supporting an even bigger deduction than that provided by the House.

He has announced that he will bring up the National Defense Authorization Act, which allocates $778 billion for the military in a single year (nearly half the 10-year Build Back Better budget) and the anti-China United States Innovation and Competition Act before taking up the social/climate measure passed by the House. This could delay consideration of Build Back Better until next year, something Manchin has hinted at, likely killing the legislation.

All of the so-called “progressives” promoted by the pseudo-left, including Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) members Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Jamaal Bowman, Ilhan Omar and Cori Bush, voted for the House bill on Friday, demonstrating the DSA’s role as an arm of one of the two main parties of US imperialism.

During the 2020 Democratic primaries, every candidate pledged to repeal the Trump tax cut for the rich. Biden has repeatedly called his domestic agenda a “blue collar” program. While declaring ad nauseam that “I am a capitalist,” who has nothing against people becoming billionaires, he has called on Wall Street to “pay their fair share.”

Now it is perfectly clear what this actually means. Under conditions where the Democrats control the White House and both houses of Congress, they have dropped any attempt to raise corporate or personal income tax rates for the wealthy The only significant change Biden and the Democrats are seeking to make to Trump’s multitrillion-dollar tax giveaway to the oligarchy is to increase its scale.

This is a devastating exposure of the fraudulent claims of the DSA and similar organizations of the upper-middle class that progressive change is possible within the framework of the capitalist two-party system and that the Democratic Party can serve as an instrument of social change.

As a senator, Biden vigorously voted for several similar bills. In short, based on his voting record, Joe Biden is not (and never was) a champion of disadvantaged Americans, unless you consider multi-billion-dollar credit card corporations and millionaires “disadvantaged.”

This year, it’s Mr. Biden. Financial industry cash flowing to Mr. Biden and outside groups supporting him shows him dramatically out-raising the president, with $44 million compared with Mr. Trump’s $9 million.

"Biden reassured Wall Street and the billionaires, “I’m not looking to punish anyone.”

I’ve also fallen toward a consultant theory of change — or like, a process theory of change. So a lot of people on the left would say that the Hillary Clinton campaign largely ignored economic issues, and doubled down on social issues, because of the neoliberal ideology of the people who worked for her, and the fact that campaigning on progressive economic policy would threaten the material interests of her donors.

Democrats nominate Biden in inane

display of political reaction

21 August 2020

The Democratic National Convention concluded Thursday night with the formal acceptance of the party’s presidential nomination by former Vice President Joe Biden, after a final two-hour session that was full of empty clichés, inane rhetoric and nauseating insincerity.

The atmosphere Thursday was more of a religious revival than a political event. There was incessant emphasis on the personal moral superiority of Biden compared to Trump, accompanied by increasingly maudlin testimonials to Biden’s alleged deep concern for children, the downtrodden, and virtually anyone who crossed his path. One former White House official referred to Biden’s “empathy skills,” a phrase which recalls the old wisecrack: “Sincerity—if you can fake that, you’ve got it made.”

The sheer contempt for the intelligence of the

population and the viewing audience was

summed up in Biden’s acceptance speech. His

speechwriters appeared to have been trying

to cram every possible trite phrase into a

single 20-minute address.

He ran through a laundry list of promises, from climate change to racism to student debt, none of which the Democratic Party has the slightest intention of actually carrying out. Only two phrases had real meaning.

Biden reassured Wall Street and the billionaires, “I’m not looking to punish anyone.” This sent a message to the financial aristocracy that, while the candidate was compelled to make demagogic attacks on the wealthy for electoral purposes, these would have no lasting consequences. “Nothing will change” for the super-rich, he told a Wall Street fundraiser last year, and that pledge he will keep.

And the former vice president denounced Trump for being too soft on Russia, threatening to hold Vladimir Putin accountable for allegedly paying bounties to Taliban fighters who attacked American troops in Afghanistan. This phony story is just the latest fabrication by the New York Times in its four-year-long campaign to provoke a US war with Russia.

The tone for the convention’s final day was set by the report Thursday afternoon that a group of 73 former national security officials from four Republican administrations were endorsing Biden and denouncing Trump in an open letter to be published in the Wall Street Journal. The list includes an array of militarists and police-state operatives who are responsible for the death of millions of people in Latin America, Africa, the Middle East and Central Asia.

Among the most prominent and most deserving of prosecution for war crimes endorsing Biden are:

· John Negroponte, with a bloody record from the contra terrorist war against Nicaragua to the occupation of Iraq in the 2000s;

· Colin Powell, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff during the 1991 Persian Gulf War, and secretary of state during the 2003 Iraq War, in which he played a central role in justifying a war based on lies;

· Michael Hayden, former director of the National Security Agency and later CIA director, who oversaw CIA torture programs and domestic spying;

· Robert Blackwill, deputy director of the National Security Council with responsibility for Iraq war policy in 2003–2004;

· Michael Leiter, director of the National Counterterrorism Center under the younger Bush; and

· William Webster, director of the FBI under Reagan and of the CIA under the elder Bush.

The support of these former leaders of the military-intelligence apparatus only underscores the real character of the conflict between the Democratic and Republican parties, the twin political instruments of the American ruling elite.

The Democrats oppose Trump, not because of his tax cuts for billionaires or his attacks on democratic rights and the rights of immigrants and refugees, but rather because of differences over foreign policy related to the Middle East and particularly Russia. An incoming Biden administration would immediately adopt an even more provocative and aggressive anti-Russian policy.

This was underscored in one segment after another of the final day’s program leading up to Biden’s acceptance speech, with military veterans and Republicans brought forward to speak in video segments. The most strident pro-war message came from Senator Tammy Duckworth, who denounced Trump as the “coward in chief” for his alleged capitulation to Putin over the bounties.

As for domestic policy, Biden’s closest political associate, his Senate chief-of-staff Ted Kaufman, who heads the transition team preparing for a future Biden administration, told the Wall Street Journal Wednesday that the rising federal budget deficit would make ambitious spending programs impossible. “When we get in, the pantry is going to be bare,” Kaufman said. “When you see what Trump’s done to the deficit… forget about COVID-19, all the deficits that he built with the incredible tax cuts. So we’re going to be limited.”

The reference to what “Trump’s done” is a

fraud, since the both the Democrats and Republicans endorsed, on a nearly unanimous basis, the multi-trillion dollar bailout of Wall Street in March. The coronavirus pandemic—which, as a result of the policies of the ruling class, has produced a social and economic catastrophe for the American population—has been utilized by the ruling elite as an opportunity to loot the public treasury. And it is the working class that will be forced to pay.

Despite claims by Bernie Sanders that Biden could become the most progressive president since Franklin Roosevelt, the real policy orientation of a future Biden administration was signaled by the appearance of billionaire Michael Bloomberg, who gave the last speech before Biden himself was introduced, pouring scorn on Trump as a poor businessman and incompetent manager. It is the billionaires and the military-intelligence apparatus, not political charlatans like Sanders, who will call the shots if the Democrats win the White House.

Next week will put the ultra-right ravings of the Republican Party and the Trump White House on display. The Democratic Party masquerades as the friend of the workers while doing the bidding of the corporate elite; the Republican Party, under Trump’s direction, is working to develop a fascist movement. Both parties are the enemies of the working class, which must develop and build an independent revolutionary alternative.

BIDEN WAS SELECTED BY BANKSTER-OWNED OBAMA BECAUSE OF HIS LONG HISTORY OF SERVING THE BANKSTERS!

Biden backed brutal bankruptcy bill in 2005

By Chris Talgo

In 1999, then-Sen. Joe Biden (D-DE) declared, “I’m not the senator from MBNA.” Apparently, Biden felt it was necessary to clarify that he did not exclusively represent credit card giant MBNA because his constituents were thoroughly confused, based on his track record of being a shill for credit card companies located in the First State.

Then, six years later, Biden inserted his foot directly into his mouth (again) when he championed the notorious (and ill-named) Bankruptcy Abuse Prevention and Consumer Protection Act (BAPCPA). A more appropriate name could have been the Act to Protect Credit Card Companies and Shaft Students and Workers.

In short, BAPCPA was a terrible bill that favored credit card companies, big banks, and millionaires over working-class borrowers. It also is solely responsible for the fact that student loan debt is totally impossible to dismiss -- even after one has declared bankruptcy.

Wait a minute, I thought Joe Biden was the consummate defender and advocate of the working class and oppressed. Far from it. In reality,Biden’s political career of more than four decades was predicated upon protecting the interests of credit card companies.

And he and his son, Hunter, were compensated handsomely for doing so. According to a 2019 GQ article titled “How Biden Helped Strip Bankruptcy Protection From Millions Just Before a Recession” -- “one of the biggest credit card companies in Delaware, MBNA, hired Joe Biden's son Hunter in 1996. Even after Hunter became a federal lobbyist in 2001, he stayed on at MBNA as a consultant at a fee of $100,000 per year, meaning he was pulling in a six-figure salary at the same time his father was pushing for the industry's top priorities.” Can you say, quid pro quo, Joe?

As if the backroom deals and “you scratch my back, and I’ll scratch yours” shenanigans that Biden blatantly engaged in before, during, and after BAPCPA was passed were not bad enough, the bill wrought untold damage among the very people Biden constantly claims to protect.

According to Adam J. Levitin, professor of law at Georgetown University, BAPCPA “was perhaps the most anti-middle class piece of legislation in the past century.” And, as Levitin writes, “Biden used his clout to push for the law’s passage and to defeat amendments to shield servicemembers, women, and children from its harsh treatment. When votes were taken, ‘Middle-Class Joe’ was no friend to the middle class.” It sure seems that Biden abandoned his Lunchbox Joe persona when it came to voting in favor of BAPCPA, not to mention that he strongly supported amendments that made the bill even more hostile to the middle class!

And adding insult to injury, Biden also voted against several amendments that were specifically meant to help several “underprivileged” groups.  As Levitin writes, “He voted against three amendments to ease bankruptcy requirements for consumers whose financial troubles stem from medical expenses. He voted against an amendment that would have helped seniors keep their homes. He voted against exempting servicemembers and widows of servicemembers killed in action from the law’s eligibility restrictions. He voted against an amendment to exempt women whose financial troubles stemmed from deadbeat husbands’ failure to pay child support or alimony. And Biden even voted against an amendment that would have ensured that children of debtors could still be given birthday and Christmas presents. Biden also voted against allowing debtors to pay their union dues during bankruptcy, potentially imperiling their employment and ability to achieve financial rehabilitation.” Could Biden’s voting record on this bill get any worse? Actually, yes.

Not only did Biden strongly oppose BAPCPA amendments aimed to help “disadvantaged” groups, he voted for two giant loopholes that effectively allowed millionaires to shield their assets from collectors after they filed for bankruptcy. What a joke, Joe.

As a senator, Biden vigorously voted for several similar bills. In short, based on his voting record, Joe Biden is not (and never was) a champion of disadvantaged Americans, unless you consider multi-billion-dollar credit card corporations and millionaires “disadvantaged.”

Wall Street’s many campaign donors are lining up behind Joe Biden, not the incumbent President of the United States, according to the New York Times.

Under the August 9 headline, “The Wallets of Wall Street Are With Joe Biden, if Not the Hearts,” three reporters wrote:

While Wall Street financiers tend to be more socially liberal, they have collectively swung back and forth between parties. Data from the Center for Responsive Politics show the securities and investment community donating more to President George W. Bush in 2004, and then to Mr. Obama in 2008, and then to Mitt Romney in 2012, followed by Mrs. Clinton in 2016, than to their respective presidential rivals.

This year, it’s Mr. Biden. Financial industry cash flowing to Mr. Biden and outside groups supporting him shows him dramatically out-raising the president, with $44 million compared with Mr. Trump’s $9 million.

The donors are already pressuring Biden to pick a business-friendly candidate for vice president, and Biden is signaling a hands-off policy toward Wall Street:

In recent meetings with donors, Mr. Biden has said that while the wealthy are going to have to “do more,” the details of his tax hikes are still being hammered out … in July, the candidate spoke of the need for corporate America to “change its ways.” But the solution, he said, would not be legislative.

“I love Bernie, but I’m not Bernie Sanders. I don’t think 500 billionaires are the reason why we’re in trouble,” Biden said in 2018.

Notably, the article did not mention one of Wall Street’s greatest heartburns with Trump — his on-again, off-again popular push to reduce the immigration inflow of foreign workers, consumers, and real estate customers.

Trump’s popular lower-immigration promise could reduce the federal government’s policy of annually inflating the new labor supply by roughly 20 percent. If implemented, it would force CEOs to pay higher wages and would pressure investors to transfer some of their new investments from the coastal states to the heartland states.

In the last few months, Trump has zig-zagged on his low-immigration promises as his poll ratings stay under Joe Biden’s numbers. But on June 22, Trump blocked several visa worker pipelines and promised regulations to ensure that CEOs are forced to hire Americans first.

In contrast, Biden has promised to open the door for new wages of blue-collar migrants from Central American and white-collar migrants from India, China, and elsewhere.

Those policies are catnip for Biden’s supporters in the technology sector, including former Google chief Eric Schmidt, who is urging the federal government to let companies hire more of their professional workforce from overseas.

Wall Streeters’ resentment towards Trump was noted in one quote from a former Goldman Sach’s investor, James Atwood: “For people who are in the business of hiring and firing C.E.O.s, Donald Trump should have been fired a while ago.”

However, Trump can only be hired or fired by the voters.

The report observes that while the wealth of the world’s 80 richest people doubled between 2009 and 2014, the wealth of the poorest half of the world’s population (3.5 billion people) was lower in 2014 than it was in 2009.

In 2010, it took 388 billionaires to match the wealth of the bottom half of the earth’s population; by 2013, the figure had fallen to just 92 billionaires. It fell to 80 in 2014.

THE OBAMA ASSAULT ON THE AMERICAN MIDDLE-CLASS

“The goal of the Obama administration, working with the Republicans and local governments, is to roll back the living conditions of the vast majority of the population to levels not seen since the 19th century, prior to the advent of the eight-hour day, child labor laws, comprehensive public education, pensions, health benefits, workplace health and safety regulations, etc.”

“In response to the ruthless assault of the financial oligarchy, spearheaded by Obama, the working class must advance, no less ruthlessly, its own policy.”

New Federal Reserve report

US median income has plunged, inequality has grown in Obama “recovery”

The yearly income of a typical US household dropped by a massive 12 percent, or $6,400, in the six years between 2007 and 2013. This is just one of the findings of the 2013 Federal Reserve Survey of Consumer Finances released Thursday, which documents a sharp decline in working class living standards and a further concentration of wealth in the hands of the rich and the super-rich.

Why the rich favor the Democrats

By Peter Skurkiss

There's little doubt that today's Democrat Party is the party of the rich.  Actually, that's an understatement.  Far more than billionaires are involved.  A better expression of reality would be to say a fundamental core of Democrat coalition is the managerial class, also known as the elite.  These are the people who run the media, Hollywood and the entertainment industry, the big corporations, the universities and schools, the investment banks, and Wall Street.  They populate the upper levels of government bureaucracies.  These are the East and West Coasters.

The alliance of the affluent with the Democrat Party can be seen in the widely disproportionate share of hefty political donations from the well-to-do going to Democrats and a bevy of left-wing causes.  It's also why forty-one out of the fifty wealthiest congressional districts are represented by Democrats.

BLOG: DEMS LOVE SOCIALISM FOR ILLEGALS TO KEEP THEM COMING AND BREEDING ANCHOR BABIES FOR WELFARE AND SOCIALISM FOR BANKS. TRILLIONS OF DOLLARS OF IT!

Bernie Sanders is an exception.  But he's an anomaly viewed as dangerous to the party, which is why he's being crushed by the Democrat establishment.

Why do the wealthy align with the Democrats?  The answer may seem counter-intuitive, but it is really quite simple.  It's surely not ideals or high-minded principles.  Nor is it ignorance.  Rather, it boils down to raw self-interest.

In his book, The Age of Entitlement: America Since the Sixties, Christopher Caldwell notes that rich Americans think themselves to be as vulnerable as blacks.  They are a relatively small minority of the population.  They fear being resented for their wealth and power and of having much of that taken from them.  Accordingly, the wealthy seek to protect what is theirs by preventing strong majorities from forming by using the divide and conquer principle.

As R.R. Reno writes when reviewing Caldwell's book: "Therefore, the richest and most powerful people in America have strong incentives to support an anti-majoritarian political system."  He goes on: "Wealthy individuals shovel donations into elite institutions that incubate identity politics, which further fragments the nation and prevents the formation of majorities."

Some of the rotten fruit of the wealthy taking this approach include multiculturalism, massive immigration of diverse people, resistance to encouraging assimilation, racial strife, trying to turn white males into pariahs, and the promotion of gender confusion.  Through it all, society is bombarded with the Orwellian mantra that "diversity is strength," as if repeating it often enough can make it so.  It is also why patriotism and a common American culture are so disparaged today.  Those from the upper strata of society project the idea that if you're a flag-waving American, you must be some kind of retrograde mouth-breathing yokel.

The wealthy as a groups are content to dissolve the glue that holds the U.S. together.  And it is all done to enhance and preserve their power, wealth, and influence.  This is why they so hate Donald Trump.  He strives to unite people and the country, although you'd never know that that is what the president is doing  if you live in the media bubble.  Trump's MAGA agenda is an anathema to the managerial class.

To quote Reno one final time:

The next decade will not be easy.  But it will not be about what preoccupied us in the sixties, and which Caldwell describes so well.  Rather than the perils of discrimination we are increasingly concerned with the problem of disintegration — or in Charles Murray's terms, the problem of "coming apart."

Trump and the GOP he is molding are the vehicles to restore and strengthen national solidarity.  Trump said at the Daytona 500, "No matter who wins, what matters most is God, family, and country."  That is not the Democrat agenda.  As seen in Democrat politicians, their policies, and the behavior of their major contributors, the aim is to further weaken the social and national bonds in America.  There is a lot at stake here.  If solidarity wins, the Republic can survive and prosper.  If the Democrats and their wealthy cohorts do, then the middle class withers, the Republic dies, and the rich and their managerial class get to rule the roost.  That is what it comes down to.

ALL BILLIONAIRES ARE DEMOCRATS. ALL BILLIONAIRES WANT WIDER OPEN BORDERS, AMNESTY AND HELL NO TO E-VERIFY!

In addition, establishment Republicans are no better than Democrats at stemming the flow of illegal immigration because big businesses reap the benefits of this cheap labor without incurring any of the social costs.

This is why the SEIU supports blanket amnesty for illegal aliens.

Democrats: The Party of Big Labor, Big Government...and Big Business

By Antonio R. Chaves

There is a widespread perception that the Democrat Party is the party the working class and the Republican Party is the party of big business.  Even though Republicans on average received slightly more from corporate employees prior to 2002, the overall difference between both parties from 1990 to 2020 is statistically insignificant (Table 1).  In fact, Democrat reliance on big labor gradually shifted toward big business following the involvement of solidly Democrat corporate giants in 2002, and from 2014 to 2020, Democrats consistently surpassed Republicans in corporate donations (Tables 1 & 2).

Based on data compiled by Open Secrets, Soros Fund Management, Fahr LLC (Tom Steyer), and Bloomberg LP ranked among the top ten for political contributions that gave over 90% to Democrats.  In sharp contrast, the right-leaning Koch Industries made the top ten only in 2014.  In nearly all other years, Koch ranked well below the top twenty.

Whether or not this trend is long-term, there is no denying that large corporations on average no longer lean right.  But what does it mean to be "the party of big business"? Donations are not definitive evidence.  What ultimately matters is what politicians do once they get elected.

Many liberals believe that big government is needed to "rein in" big business and that in the absence of federal intervention, corporations will "run roughshod" over the average American.  Many liberals also believe that corporations are the main beneficiaries of laissez-faire economics and that free-market conservatives who want to scale back regulations are somehow "in the pocket" of big business.

In reality, the opposite is true: big business and big government

go hand in hand because government meddling in the economy

encourages rent-seeking by businesses that can afford to pay

for the lobbyists.  This crony capitalism grew exponentially as

a result of New Deal regulations that squeezed out competitors

during the 1930s.  Establishment politicians and well

connected corporations are beneficiaries of the myth that big

government and big business are adversaries because it hides

their unholy alliance.

In all fairness, neither party has had a monopoly on the dispensation of corporate welfare: the TARP funds that propped up financial institutions deemed "too big to fail" during the Great Recession were released by the Bush administration.  In addition, establishment Republicans are no better than Democrats at stemming the flow of illegal immigration because big businesses reap the benefits of this cheap labor without incurring any of the social costs.

If both parties are playing this game, what is the basis for labeling the Democrat party "the party of big business"?  What policies from Republicans support small business?

Free-market conservatism benefits small businesses because the government does not pick the winners and losers by means of subsidies, tax breaks, and cumbersome regulations.  You will not see policies like these coming from Washington in a major way because proposals for shrinking the federal government rarely see the light of day in Congress.

Based on data collected by Gallup and Thumbtack, red states far outscore blue states in small business friendliness (Table 3).  This may be why less affluent Americans are fleeing states that score abysmally like CaliforniaIllinoisNew York, and Hawaii.  This might also be why small business–owners are more likely to vote Republican.

The Trump administration has been good for businesses of all sizes mainly due to the unprecedented rate at which it scaled back stifling regulations.  This may be why some of the president's highest approval ratings now come from small businesses.

Donald Trump set himself apart from the ruling class when he latched onto the third-rail issue of illegal immigration and called out the corporate darling Jeb Bush (AKA "Low Energy Jeb") for his lack of grassroots support.  This may explain in part why Bain Capital, the firm co-founded by Mitt Romney, switched teams and contributed solidly Democrat in 2018.  In 2012, Democrats accused Bain Capital of destroying jobs by systematically dismantling the companies it bought off.  Times have changed...

Small businesses generate well over half of all new jobs.  Most importantly, many are family-owned, have strong ties to their communities, and provide upward mobility for millions of Americans who never attended college.  The Democrats' undermining of this quintessentially American institution is shameful and disqualifies it as the "party of the working class."  Contributions from big labor do not count toward "labor-friendliness" because mega-unions care more about recruitment than about the welfare of working Americans.  This is why the SEIU supports blanket amnesty for illegal aliens.

Democrats fed up with the corporate status quo are now choosing their own anti-establishment candidate, not realizing that socialism is just a more impoverished version of the crony capitalism they are rejecting.  Many Sanders-supporters are also morally shallow because they want to harness the power of the state to muscle in on the wealth of Americans who borrowed responsibly and worked hard to pay their bills.

After the Constitutional Convention, Benjamin Franklin said, "This Constitution ... is likely to be well administered for a course of years, and can only end in despotism ... when the people shall become so corrupted as to need despotic government."  If Democrats implement the dystopian policies of California on a national level, their corporate allies will do fine.  It is small business–owners and working-class Americans with nowhere to flee who have the most to lose. Be careful what you wish for.

Grim Reaper Mitch to Pelosi: I'm Going to Kill Your Stimulus Plan

Matt Vespa

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi just got some bad news from Mitch McConnell. Any talk about another stimulus isn’t going to happen. She may draft a bill, but it’ll meet a swift death in the Republican-controlled Senate. Mitch is the legislative grim reaper for most of what the Democratic House sends his way (via The Hill):

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) hit the brakes Tuesday on Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-Calif.) plan to move ahead with a fourth stimulus package that would include major infrastructure spending and other Democratic priorities.

“I think we need to wait a few days here, a few weeks, and see how things are working out,” McConnell said on “The Hugh Hewitt Show.”

“Let’s see how things are going and respond accordingly,” he added. “I’m not going to allow this to be an opportunity for the Democrats to achieve unrelated policy items that they would not otherwise be able to pass.”

McConnell's remarks came the same day that President Trump encouraged Congress to pass a $2 trillion infrastructure bill as the next piece of coronavirus legislation.

Pelosi is also mulling a rollback of the SALT taxes, which would be nothing short of a giveaway to millionaires. And by the giveaway, it would be something of a $620 billion tax cut for them. Remember, this is the party of the working people, or so they say, and a part of me hopes she goes aggressive on this, so we can see Bernie Sanders gum up the Democratic works for a bit. There is no way a hardcore lefty would back this nonsense. Yet, there’s another reason why Mitch isn’t rushing on the House Democrats’ stimulus reloaded plans. They’re off. They won’t be back to work until April 20. And The Hill added that Mitch hasn’t forgotten about judges, adding that the Kentucky Republican’s motto is “leave no vacancy behind.”

THE OBAMA – BIDEN BANKSTERS CON JOB STARTED BEFORE HIS FIRST DAY IN OFFICE!

Apparently, Hunter Biden’s life was even more sordid than we knew

By Andrea Widburg

I’m sure that there are some Americans, somewhere, who voted for Joe Biden because the media assured them that Joe is an honest, decent family man – all of which is patently untrue. Because they were unaware that the only thing “abnormal” about the Trump administration was the relentless attacks from the Democrat party and the media (but I repeat myself), they thought Biden would bring an era of peace and even honor. No wonder, then, that the media and the tech tyrants corrupted the election by quashing any reports about Biden’s sleazy son Hunter. And now, it turns out that Hunter was even worse than we realized.

Those people who paid attention to conservative media outlets and learned of Hunter Biden’s laptop, knew that Hunter Biden functioned as a conduit by which foreign governments, most notably Ukraine and China, funneled millions of dollars to the “Big Guy,” aka then-Vice President Joe Biden. They also knew that Hunter Biden is one of the sleaziest men in America.

It was public knowledge that Hunter Biden was a crack cocaine addict which had resulted in his being booted from the Navy, that he’d had an affair with his sister-in-law after his brother died from cancer, that he impregnated a stripper, and that he refused to pay for his children and, instead, married another woman. The media rather successfully dressed all this up in the story of a troubled young man trying to make good.

What the laptop revealed, in addition to the Biden family cartel, is that Hunter’s personal life was even worse than anyone realized. A Taiwanese outlet made public videos showing Hunter, a man with a foot fetish, smoking crack and cavorting with multiple women. Additionally, tweets on the computer indicated that the women in Hunter’s life worried about him and underage girls. In this regard, Hunter must take after his father who has been shown in endless video footage fondling and nuzzling little girls. It doesn’t matter to me if that public behavior is the only and worst thing Joe Biden does to little girls. It’s sufficient to make him a creep and a pervert.

It turns out, though, that Hunter’s unutterably sleazy sex life was even worse than those paying attention knew back in 2020. Get a gander at this Daily Mail headline: “EXCLUSIVE: Hunter Biden was living with his brother Beau's widow Hallie while sending raunchy texts and FaceTiming in the shower with her married SISTER as they declared their love and she called him her ‘prince’”

You can read all the sordid details in the Daily Mail. For now, I’ll just quote from the bullet points at the top of the article:

· Hunter Biden began dating his late brother Beau's widow, Hallie Biden, shortly after Beau died of brain cancer in 2015

· The unconventional relationship was first exposed in March 2017 with Joe Biden issuing a statement giving his blessing to the couple

· DailyMail.com can reveal Hunter was also exchanging sexual text messages with Hallie's then-married sister Elizabeth Secundy around that time

· In a 2016 text conversation recovered from his abandoned laptop hard drive, Hunter offered to teach Secundy 'how to masturbate'

· Secundy, 49, who was married to husband Joel Secundy, referred to Hunter as her 'prince' and told him she loved him in the texts

· Another conversation showed Hunter texted Secundy telling her he had been up late watching 'bad porno movies like I'm 13'

· Secundy separated from her husband and father of her three children in 2015 after 15 years of marriage. Their divorce was finalized three years later
