Sens. Marco Rubio (R-FL) and Rick Scott (R-FL), along with Florida’s Republican delegation, are demanding answers from President Joe Biden’s administration after they say about 70 flights filled with border crossers have landed in their state.

The issue came to light in Florida after a 24-year-old illegal alien allegedly posed as an Unaccompanied Alien Child (UAC) at the United States-Mexico border in order to get released into the U.S. interior. From there, the illegal alien was flown to Florida and is now charged with murdering the man who took him in, a father of four.

Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) said he is reviewing a plan that will deny state contracts to the companies contracting with the Biden administration to fly border crossers into the state.

In a letter to Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and Attorney General Merrick Garland, Rubio, Scott, and Florida’s Republican delegation in Congress are asking the administration to disclose how many flights of border crossers have landed in Florida, the number of border crossers onboard, and their immigration statuses.

The lawmakers write:

We write with great concern over the reported transfer of migrants from our southern border into or through the State of Florida. Media accounts show that at least 70 flights that originated from border states have landed at Florida’s airports, without any information of who is on the flights and their final destination. This does not include ground transportation. [Emphasis added]

The crisis at our southern border has been well documented. However, the transfer of illegal immigrants into our communities has been done under the cover of night and with a veil of secrecy. Our constituents are naturally concerned about potentially dangerous individuals residing in their neighborhoods. The state, local law enforcement, and those elected to represent Floridians deserve to know what the federal government is doing, especially when it is a matter of public safety. [Emphasis added]

For these reasons, we request a full accounting of the administration’s actions on these chartered flights and ground transportation, including who is being transported, their immigration status, whether they have been tested for COVID-19 or have shown proof of vaccination, final destinations and any applicable security reviews performed. Information should also include when the transportation first took place, the number of migrants transported to date, as well as future planned or estimated travel, whether state, county or local government entities were alerted prior to arrival and any federal resources provided to assist with the migrants, and any follow-up actions, including whether a notice to appear was issued. [Emphasis added]

Those who signed the letter with Rubio and Scott are Reps. Vern Buchanan (R-FL), Mario Díaz-Balart (R-FL), John Rutherford (R-FL), Neal Dunn (R-FL), Carlos Gimenez (R-FL), Brian Mast (R-FL), Daniel Webster (R-FL), Michael Waltz (R-FL), Maria Elvira Salazar (R-FL), Gregory Steube (R-FL), Byron Donalds (R-FL), and Gus M. Bilirakis (R-FL).

As Breitbart News recently reported, a number of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) are working with the Biden administration to provide border crossers with free hotel rooms and free flights into the U.S., giving them the ability to bypass TSA requirements that American citizens are required to follow.

Last week, Mayorkas said the administration expects that more than two million illegal aliens will have arrived at the U.S.-Mexico border in 2021 by the end of the year.

Mayorkas did not disclose the number of illegal aliens who have successfully entered the U.S. through the southern border. Current estimates based on DHS data reveal that anywhere from 530,000 to 600,000 illegal aliens have been released into the U.S. interior by the Biden administration from January to September.

Biden Mandates Vax for Cross-Border Truckers, Exempts Border Crossers

In January 2022, President Joe Biden’s administration will begin implementing a Chinese coronavirus vaccine mandate on all cross-border travelers, primarily truck drivers, at United States land ports of entry while exempting illegal border crossers.

As Breitbart News reported, Biden’s administration is planning to require the vaccine for all essential cross-border travelers entering U.S. land ports of entry. The mandate is mostly be targeted at truck drivers who cross between the U.S., Mexico, and Canada.

“President Joe Biden will require essential, nonresident travelers crossing U.S. land borders, such as truck drivers, government and emergency response officials, to be fully vaccinated beginning on Jan. 22, the administration planned to announce,” the Associated Press reports.

Noticeably exempt from the vaccine mandate are border crossers and illegal aliens, hundreds of thousands of whom successfully get released into the U.S. interior as a result of Biden’s expansive Catch and Release program.

For months, Biden and White House officials have refused to endorse a vaccine mandate for border crossers even as millions of Americans are facing layoffs if they do not take the vaccine.

“They’re not intending to stay here for a lengthy period of time,” White House press secretary Jen Psaki said when asked in September why Americans are required to get the vaccine while border crossers remain exempt.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has made clear that they are simply offering the vaccine to border crossers who are apprehended but are not requiring the vaccine.

Democrats in Congress, like the Biden administration, have refused to endorse vaccine mandates for millions of foreign nationals. In September, House Democrats voted down a plan that would have imposed vaccine mandates on legal immigrants who wish to adjust their status to remain living in the U.S.

Top DHS officials expect more than two million border crossers to have arrived at the U.S.-Mexico border by the end of the year. Few to none, experts have said, are vaccinated.

Census Data: Biden Grows Foreign-Born Population by Nearly 2M in Last Year

In his first eight months in office, President Joe Biden helped grow the nation’s record-high foreign-born population by nearly two million over the last year, new analysis based on United States Census Bureau data suggests.

The analysis, conducted by the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS), used Census Bureau data to determine that from October 2020 to September 2021, the nation’s foreign-born population grew to about 45.7 million — an increase of 1.8 million foreign-born residents.

Those counted in the total include illegal aliens and legal immigrants. Hispanic foreign-born residents account for one million of the 1.8 million, or nearly 6-in-10 of all new arrivals over the last year.

“Growth in the total immigrant population can only be caused by new legal and illegal immigrants arriving from abroad … for the immigrant population to grow, new arrivals must exceed return migration and deaths,” CIS researchers Steven Camarota and Karen Zeigler note.

The total number of foreign-born residents now living in the U.S. is now the highest ever in American history. Though the foreign-born share of the population remains historically high, it is not yet the highest on record.

Chart via Migration Policy Institute

For perspective, in 1970, foreign-born residents living in the U.S. totaled 9.6 million. Since then, the foreign-born population has grown 376 percent.

The White House has been proactive in trying to grow the foreign-born population.

Biden signed an executive order in February to increase naturalization rates through a series of federal agency measures by eliminating “barriers in and otherwise improve the existing naturalization process … [and] substantially reduce current naturalization processing times…”

As a result, Biden has boosted naturalization rates.

From October 1, 2020 to September 30, about 855,000 legal immigrants became naturalized American citizens — the highest annual number of legal immigrants getting naturalized in more than a decade. Put another way, more than 2,300 legal immigrants were naturalized every day over the last Fiscal Year.

The U.S. continues to have the most generous immigration system in the world — expected to bring in 15 million new foreign-born voters by 2041. About eight million of those voters will have arrived entirely from “chain migration” whereby newly naturalized citizens can bring an unlimited number of foreign relatives to the U.S.

Accused Illegal Alien Serial Killer to Face Trial Next Year After Mistrial

Defendant Billy Chemirmir lowers his mask as a state witness is asked to identify him during his murder trial at the Frank Crowley Courts Building in Dallas, Wednesday, November 17, 2021. Billy Chemirmir, a 48-year-old illegal alien accused of murdering 24 elderly Americans across Collin County and Dallas County, Texas, is likely to face another trial early next year following a mistrial.

As Breitbart News has reported for years, Chemirmir, an illegal alien from Kenya who later secured a green card, is accused of murdering 24 elderly Americans in Texas from April 2016 to 2018.

Dallas County, Texas, prosecutors started the first of two trials against Chemirmir, where they sought a life sentence, detailing evidence that included testimony from 91-year-old Mary Bartel, who alleges Chemirmir attempted to murder and rob her as he allegedly did with all of his victims.

Late last week, a mistrial was declared after the 12-member jury stated that they were “hopelessly deadlocked” 11-to-1 as a single juror blocked a verdict. Now, Dallas County District Attorney John Creuzot (D) is suggesting that a second trial may begin in early 2022.

“We don’t win every case … if the perception is that every time we go to trial, we get 12 people to agree with us. That’s not correct,” Creuzot told FOX 4 News. “What we’re planning to do is to analyze what we may not have done as well and do better.”

“I’ve always said we will try him twice,” Creuzot said. “We will get two convictions, and we will not stop until we get two convictions on Mr. Chemirmir.”

In the meantime, the Angel Families of the victims want Collin County prosecutors to bring their case against Chemirmir for the murder of their loved ones.

“We are sickened that we have to come back and hear the same evidence again, the same correct and just evidence,” the daughter of Phyllis Payne said after news of the mistrial.

According to prosecutors, Chemirmir would break into a victims’ residence, smother them to death with a pillow, steal their belongings, and then sell their belongings online.

Chemirmir’s 24 alleged victims are:

  • 83-year-old Leah Corken
  • 82-year-old Juanita Purdy
  • 88-year-old Mary Brooks
  • 84-year-old Minnie Campbell
  • 82-year-old Ann Conklin
  • 75-year-old Rosemary Curtis
  • 85-year-old Norma French
  • 92-year-old Doris Gleason
  • 81-year-old Lu Thi Harris
  • 81-year-old Carolyn MacPhee
  • 81-year-old Miriam Nelson
  • 91-year-old Phyllis Payne
  • 94-year-old Phoebe Perry
  • 80-year-old Martha Williams
  • 82-year-old Joyce Abramowitz
  • 87-year-old Glenna Day
  • 89-year-old Solomon Spring
  • 90-year-old Doris Wasserman
  • 86-year-old Margaret White
  • 79-year-old Diana Delahunty
  • 93-year-old Mamie Dell Miya
  • 86-year-old Catherine Probst Sinclair
  • 90-year-old Marilyn Bixler
  • An 81-year-old “Jane Doe”

Soon after Chemirmir’s arrest in May 2019, Breitbart News exclusively reported that Chemirmir first arrived in the U.S. on a B-2 tourist visa in July 2003. Though Chemirmir was supposed to only temporarily be in the U.S., he overstayed his visa and became an illegal alien who was eligible for deportation.

Rather than being deported — thus making him ineligible to ever secure legal status in the U.S. — Chemirmir was able to use a loophole in the nation’s legal immigration system, allowing him to obtain a green card after marrying an American citizen. In November 2007, Chemirmir was approved for a green card.

Chemirmir had a criminal record, Breitbart News exclusively learned, including convictions for drunk driving, trespassing, assault, and obstructing a police officer.
