A group of people armed with pistols and semi-automatic rifles joined a socialist group’s march in Kenosha, Wisconsin, on Sunday. The protesters called for “justice” after a jury acquitted Kyle Rittenhouse on all charges on Friday.

Fresh from a bout of Wuhan, China coronavirus that landed both Jesse Jackson and his wife in the hospital, Jackson was back at doing what he does best: being the center of attention at a media-geared Kenosha verdict protest, spouting fact-free inflammatory nonsense (at best), all for further extortion later down the line.

Among the speakers at the event was the Rev. Jesse Jackson Sr., who told the crowd he believed the verdict in Rittenhouse's case sets a "dangerous precedent" at future protests.

"The Rittenhouse decision jeopardized every freedom fighter," Jackson told the assembled crowd. "Everyone who's a demonstrator can be killed by a right-winger with[out] justification."

"We have the right, the constitutional right, to march," Jackson said later. "He has the constitutional right to object. He does not have the right to kill us."

Jackson said his Rainbow PUSH Coalition would be hosting another march Sunday in Kenosha, which is expected to end outside the Kenosha County Courthouse, where Rittenhouse's trial was held.

"Nobody has the right to go across state lines [with] a loaded weapon, come back with a loaded weapon, shoot two people and then go home," Jackson said. "So we fight back."

Apparently though, it is perfectly fine with Jackson — and all the others who believe that emotions are more important than facts — for Black people not to cross state lines with loaded but unregistered weapons to shoot and kill other black people and then go home.  As he was shooting off his mouth and a few hours afterwards...

3 killed, 5 teens among 21 wounded in Chicago shootings since Friday evening

In one of the fatal attacks, a 45-year-old man was found with gunshot wounds inside a vehicle about 9:30 p.m. in the 7100 block of South Seeley Avenue, while another man was found inside a home with a gunshot wound to the hip.

Several of these shootings occurred just a few miles from Jackson's home, continuing a long-term pattern of (mostly) Black people — usually young Black males — killing other (mostly) Black males — graphically illustrated by the invaluable heyjackass.com site.

oods with some Hispanic ones on the fringes.  Similar incidents are ravaging Democrat-run Black neighborhoods across the nation.

But that's not news; these daily shootings and killings are so routine that they merit only a line or two per day, or a few seconds in the local media.  Jackson and his ideological cronies tend to publicly ignore the traumatized victims of violence, their grieving family members, and the mostly decent neighborhood residents who live constantly with fear as they go about their routine daily lives.

As Jackson himself once admitted at an Operation PUSH meeting in November, 1993, "There is nothing more painful to me at this stage in my life to walk down the street and hear footsteps...then turn around and see somebody white and feel relieved." 

But that kind of painful truth, along with the difficult and complex solutions, won't get the attention that Jackson needs to survive.  It won't get him the dollars for him to continue. 

And so Jackson led chants of "Stop the violence...stop the killings...keep hope alive," which his hopeless followers catatonically repeated.

Thirty-one people were shot, five of them fatally, during another violent weekend in Mayor Lori Lightfoot’s (D) Chicago.

Breitbart News noted at least 21 people were shot Friday into Sunday morning alone in Chicago, and three of those shooting victims succumbed to their wounds.

ABC 7 / Chicago Sun-Times indicates there were two more shooting fatalities before the weekend was over. The Sun-Times reported that one of the two additional fatal shootings was that of a 19-year-old man, shot and killed at 4:40 p.m. Sunday.

The 19-year-old, identified as Quinhon T. Douglas, was shot in the head.

The second of the two additional fatal shootings was reported by WGN-TV, which pointed out that a 14-year-old boy was shot and killed at 5:10 p.m. in Chicago’s Roseland neighborhood.

The person of interest in the apparent attack at a Christmas parade in Waukesha, Wisconsin, has been identified in several reports as 39-year-old Darell E. Brooks Jr., a man with a record of several violent crimes.

Both Fox News and the Associated Press have named Brooks as the individual being interviewed by police after a horrific mass casualty event occurred Sunday in the Milwaukee suburb. An SUV plowed through crowds attending a Christmas parade, wounding dozens of people, including children, and causing several fatalities. Fox News columnist and New York Post reporter Karol Markowicz named Brooks as a “suspect” later that evening, but Fox News’ official reporting has not yet classified him as a suspect.

According to Wisconsin court records, a 39-year-old Darrell E. Brooks of Milwaukee has one pending charge of felony bail jumping and one charge of felony 2nd degree recklessly endangering safety with domestic abuse assessments. He also has one misdemeanor charge of resisting a police officer, disorderly conduct, and battery. The alleged offenses occurred on November 2, 2021; this same Brooks was released on a $1000 bond on November 19 – just two days before the attack. AP has linked these court records to the person identified by their law enforcement sources.

Police reportedly discovered Brooks’ ID in the red Ford Escape they recovered after the incident.

A motive has not been confirmed.

One witness told WISN that the driver hit the “Dancing Grannies,” where at least “one person flipped over the hood of the SUV.” The driver kept plowing and did not stop. One witness estimated that the vehicle was traveling at 40 miles per hour.

“There were moms and dads yelling for their kids, people running around,” one witness told Fox News Digital. “When I rewatched the video, I could hear people talking, and they were like, ‘There’s eight people injured down there. We need an Ambulance over here.’ There’s one lady kneeling on the ground crying.”

Nineteen-year-old Brayden Kowalski said that “bodies were flying everywhere.”

“He’s just blowing through people, kind of just dinging a lot of people, bodies flying everywhere,” Kowalski said. “These people didn’t get run over, they got f***ing thrown through the air. Like a lot of people got tossed up into the air.”

“You could see the fragments of brains,” he added. “There were quite a few people with broken limbs, like a lot of broken legs, a lot of people shouting with broken legs. It was horrifying.”

Though police confirmed that some fatalities occurred, an exact number has not been given. As many as 30 people are reported injured, including 12 children.

We mentioned that he (DARRELL BROOKS) has a long rap sheet.  Darrell Brooks’ rap sheet includes – in addition to past convictions - multiple open cases.  His 22-year-long published criminal record includes numerous weapons charges, battery and assault charges, all kinds of drug charges from meth to cocaine, vehicle theft, receiving stolen property, obstructing officers, domestic abuse, recklessly endangering safety, strangulation and suffocation… the list goes on and on.

The worst kind of domestic terrorism

Joe Biden thinks that a normal Midwest family is a group of domestic terrorists, if they peacefully guard their family business against rioters, arsonists, and looters.

Merrick Garland says that concerned parents are domestic terrorists, if they attend public school board meetings to speak about the policies of the district and its academic curricula.

AOC and her infamous “Squad” say that Trump supporters who attend rallies are domestic terrorists if they show up while wearing MAGA hats.

Most of the time, normal people don’t need to be told what constitutes domestic terrorism.  Normal Americans have seen it, again and again, on their streets, and on their television screens.  The kind of terrorism that has become all too common in recent years is the riot – the Leftist demonstration that purports to begin peacefully, but all too often is prepped and funded by powerful, well-financed outside organizations. 

Foreign terrorists were familiar to us, and somewhat to be expected.  In 2001, for example, a group of Saudis, radicalized and funded by Al Qaeda and the Taliban, traveled to the United States to study flying and then hijack airplanes to use them as weapons.  As horrible as it is, such terrorism is at least committed by foreign enemies.

By contrast, domestic terror has a particularly wicked dimension, because it’s not foreign enemies but our own neighbors who conduct it.

The San Bernardino Christmas Party shooting in 2015, Orlando’s Pulse Nightclub shooting in 2016, the shootings at the Republican Congressional baseball practice in 2017, all hurt America so much because these were American-born shooters. It’s so hard to imagine that our fellow Americans could be so malicious, so evil, as to attempt to inflict mass murder, on their innocent neighbors this way.

Similarly, the spate of big city riots in recent years may have begun with Ferguson but multiplied considerably in 2020 with the Antifa/BLM riots that burned down so many American cities.  There is minimal evidence that the ringleaders of these attacks were foreigners.  Rather, they were organized and populated by organizations, some of them even officially incorporated American charities, funded by gullible corporations and foolish millionaires.  Craigslist ads and social media posts told their members where to go; both known and unknown donors bought the rioters their bus tickets, paid for their food and shelter, and essentially issued them a license to riot.

This hurts.  Even without comparing the numbers of wounded and killed, even without counting the billions of dollars of property damage as Seattle and Portland, Minneapolis and Kenosha were smashed, torched, and looted, it hurts just to know that such destruction was perpetrated not by a foreign army but by our own people.  Our cities now look like cities do in war zones, only, we’re not at war.  These are our fellow Americans doing this.

Our fellow Americans were making Molotov cocktails and positioning pallets of bricks.  Our fellow Americans were rustling up street thugs and plopping them into position, so they could commit these crimes.

This must be the worst kind of domestic terrorism, right?  When the murders and attempted murders are perpetrated and organized by our fellow Americans?

No.  Actually, there is one worse still.

On November 21, 2021, at 4:15pm, the residents of the quiet Milwaukee suburb, Waukesha, Wisconsin, was enjoying their annual Christmas parade.  Local politicians, high school and grammar school marching bands and dance groups, were walking down their main thoroughfare in celebration of the beginning of the Christmas season, when, without warning, a criminal drove a red Ford Escape through the crowd, barreling along, blowing his horn, hitting countless innocents from behind.  Dozens of adults and small children alike were rushed to local hospitals; the number dead on the scene has not been released, as of this writing. 

Unbelievable.  Unforgivable.  Inexplicable horror.

The alleged perpetrator is known; the motive, however, is in doubt. Darrell Brooks, a 38-year-old rapper with a long rap sheet, is the alleged driver of the vehicle.

Early reports point to two possibilities: either he did this on purpose, as an intentional terror attack, or he and his cronies were fleeing an earlier crime – reportedly, a stabbing – and he made the horrible choice of this particular road – at this particular, rare moment, a parade path - as his escape route.

So, he may be a terrorist, or he may not be. Either way, he has destroyed the lives of countless families; he has inflicted terror.

But he’s still not the worst kind of domestic terrorist.

Why was he out on the street today?

Why was he free to drive down that road at all?

Again and again, Darrell Brooks – the alleged driver in the Waukesha parade killings - was caught, processed, and intentionally released.  Despite a history that demonstrates his ongoing threat to the community, charges were repeatedly dropped or pled down, sentences were reduced to time served (such as, in one case, just nineteen days), and he was always given work-release, probation, and bail, despite a record of continuing to perpetrate violations whenever he was set free.

If bail protocols were rational, he would be in jail awaiting the trials for the cases he already had pending, including felony assault just two days before the parade, after which he was, once again, arrested and released on bail.

He was free today to kill people in Waukesha only because he was set free, knowingly, by Milwaukee and Manitowoc and Wood and who knows how many other counties over the past twenty years.

We have state’s attorneys and district attorneys all over America who refuse to prosecute most crimes… who refuse to ask judges for stiff sentences when they do prosecute… who happily plea-bargain cases down, down, down until they get an easy conviction, even if that easy conviction provides such a small penalty that it barely takes the criminal off the street at all.

This is not to say that plea bargains and sentencing flexibility don’t have their place in our system; they do. But such reasonable tools are abused in the hands of leftist bureaucrats who simply don’t want to put criminals in jail, and who will find any excuse to keep them out.

In addition, in recent years, we have watched in horror as governor after governor has flung open the prison gates for mass releases, for reasons as lunatic as claims of overcrowding, fear of Covid contagion, and even budget pressures.

Some things are still unknown about the Waukesha Christmas Parade horror, just as some things are still unknown about all the Antifa/BLM riots that have plagued us in recent years.

But there is a common thread.

The violent criminals who started dumpster fires in Kenosha, who launched shopping district break-ins in Naperville, and who perpetrated literal neighborhood takeovers in Portland, Seattle and so many more cities in 2020 were rarely first offenders.

We are told that it is hard to obtain a conviction, even when criminals are plainly guilty. Sometimes that is true.  But even so, there are tens of thousands of violent criminals whom our system has managed to catch, has managed to prosecute, and has managed to convict.  There is no reason why they should be out on the street while they’re still young enough to re-offend.

It is on the state’s attorneys and district attorneys, the judges, and too often the governors as well.

There is only one reason why crime is so high in America today; only one reason why so many known criminals are on the streets, free to rob, rape, brutalize and murder.

It is that Leftist politicians – elected by their constituents to keep the streets safe; that’s their primary responsibility – have sided with the criminal element, time and again, against the law-abiding citizenry.

And that is a worse crime than any other:  that the people we have entrusted with the solemn duty of protecting their communities have instead unleashed these criminals to terrorize those communities instead.

If you’re looking for the worst kind of domestic terrorism, I sure can’t think of a worse one than flinging open the prison gates – whether by lack of effort or by executive order – and consciously setting such criminals loose.

A horrific incident occurred in Waukesha, Wisconsin, on Sunday when an SUV plowed through crowds of people attending a Christmas parade.

Update: The city of Waukesha’s Twitter page confirmed, “5 people are deceased and over 40 are injured,” as of midnight Central Standard Time.

Update: Waukesha officials say they have transported 11 adults and 12 children to local hospitals. The city’s police chief, Daniel Thompson, said, “there were some fatalities” in the tragic incident.

The White House released a statement about the situation:

Update: City and law enforcement officials confirmed during a news conference that a “person of interest” has been taken into custody, but no identity was given.

Update: The location of the vehicle allegedly involved has been found, according to reports.

Update: There has been one confirmed death, according to ABC 7 Chicago.

Though details remain scarce as of this writing, according to WISN, the mass casualty incident occurred at 4:15 p.m. when the driver plowed over crowds of people at the Waukesha Christmas Parade, injuring dozens of people. Video of the moment has since gone viral:

One particularly bone-chilling video showed the driver barreling through the street within inches of a dancing toddler:

Another video appeared to show gunfire barreling from the vehicle, though it was not exactly clear if it originated from someone in the crowd.

One witness told WISN that the driver hit the “Dancing Grannies,” where at least “one person flipped over the hood of the SUV.” The driver kept plowing and did not stop. One witnessed estimated that the vehicle was traveling at 40 mph.

Wisconsin treasurer candidate Angelito Tenorio, who attended the event, tweeted, “After my family, campaign manager, and I finished marching in the Waukesha Christmas Parade, we witnessed the horrifying incident at the parade. We are all safe. My thoughts are with the injured and their families, and my thanks go out to first responders for their quick actions.”

As of this writing, the identity of the driver remains unknown and at large, with no indication as to whether or not the event was a terrorist attack or an accident.

At least 30 people have been reported injured with no current count on possible deaths.

A domestic terror attack strikes a Milwaukee suburb

The Biden administration and its propaganda outlets (aka the mainstream media) constantly insist that America is under domestic terrorist threat from “White supremacists.” However, when a red SUV deliberately slammed into a suburb’s holiday parade, striking and killing both grandmothers and little girls, the driver didn’t match the “White supremacist” description—that is, unless the left wants to extend the term “White supremacist” to encompass a Black man with dreadlocks.

Waukesha is a mid-sized suburb of around 73,000 people, located 30 minutes west of Milwaukee. In case you wanted to know, Kenosha, a town south of Milwaukee, is just an hour’s drive from Waukesha.

On Sunday, Waukesha was having its annual Christmas parade. This was a community activity, with lots of children both participating in and watching the parade.

Shortly after the parade started, a red SUV barreled through the parade at high speed, deliberately striking at least 20 people. Accidentally or not, the SUV managed to strike hardest at a “Dancing Grannies” float with several elderly women on it and at a schoolgirl’s dance team. Elderly women and children were among the dead and injured.

The video of the car tearing through the parade looks remarkably like car and truck terrorist attacks in Europe: In 2016, a Muslim terrorist drove a truck through a Bastille Day celebration in Nice, killing 86 people and injuring 458 others. Also in 2016, a Muslim driving a truck smashed into a Christmas market in Berlin, killing 12 people and injuring 56. Then, in 2017, ISIS claimed responsibility for a car attack on London Bridge, followed by the car’s occupants jumping out to stab people. The attack killed eight people and left 48 injured. And moving south, in 2020, a Palestinian drove a car into 12 Israeli soldiers. Obviously, guns are not necessary for terrorism.

The footage from the Waukesha attack is heart-wrenching. I’m including it here because it’s part of this narrative but I warn you that it makes for deeply painful viewing:

As I write this, the police have not identified a motive behind the attack. The law of averages suggests that the top two choices are (a) Islamic terrorism or (b) payback against ordinary people for the Kyle Rittenhouse verdict. Of course, there could be lots of other reasons: The driver could be an insane person or, or.... Well, actually, sitting here, I really don’t see many other options to explain why someone would deliberately drive at top speed through a parade of little children and family people. This is terrorism, pure and simple, regardless of the motive—and, obviously, we’ll have more to say when the terrorist’s motive is known.

Needless to say, I speak for all of us here at American Thinker when I say that our thoughts and prayers are with the people of Waukesha, especially those whose family and friends were among those who died or were injured.

A looting spree in the San Francisco Bay Area continued for a second straight night on Saturday — this time, reaching the suburbs.

A “mass looting” took place at about 9:00 p.m. Saturday evening at the Nordstrom store in Walnut Creek, California, an affluent suburb east of Oakland.

Dozens of people were seen raiding the department store before making their escape:

The looters’ method is apparently to travel in large convoys of vehicles, block roads, and then seize whatever they can before leaving.

CBS San Francisco reported:

Dozens of looters swarmed into the Nordstrom store in downtown Walnut Creek Saturday night, terrorizing shoppers, ripping off bag loads of merchandise and ransacking shelves before fleeing in a several vehicles waiting for them on the street.

Walnut Creek Lt. Ryan Hibbs told KPIX 5 that police began receiving calls about the looting at around 9 p.m. He said there were approximately 80 individuals who ran into the store and began looting and smashing shelves.

Hibbs said officers stopped one vehicle and arrested both suspects — a male and a female — inside. The male was charged with robbery, possession of stolen property, conspiracy to commit burglary and possession of burglary tools. The female was arrested for unlawful possession of a firearm.

A third suspect was caught on foot and arrested. He was also charged with robbery, possession of stolen property, conspiracy to commit burglary and possession of burglary tools.

A looting spree in the San Francisco Bay Area continued for a second straight night on Saturday — this time, reaching the suburbs.

A “mass looting” took place at about 9:00 p.m. Saturday evening at the Nordstrom store in Walnut Creek, California, an affluent suburb east of Oakland.

Dozens of people were seen raiding the department store before making their escape:

The looters’ method is apparently to travel in large convoys of vehicles, block roads, and then seize whatever they can before leaving.

CBS San Francisco reported:

Dozens of looters swarmed into the Nordstrom store in downtown Walnut Creek Saturday night, terrorizing shoppers, ripping off bag loads of merchandise and ransacking shelves before fleeing in a several vehicles waiting for them on the street.

Walnut Creek Lt. Ryan Hibbs told KPIX 5 that police began receiving calls about the looting at around 9 p.m. He said there were approximately 80 individuals who ran into the store and began looting and smashing shelves.

Hibbs said officers stopped one vehicle and arrested both suspects — a male and a female — inside. The male was charged with robbery, possession of stolen property, conspiracy to commit burglary and possession of burglary tools. The female was arrested for unlawful possession of a firearm.

A third suspect was caught on foot and arrested. He was also charged with robbery, possession of stolen property, conspiracy to commit burglary and possession of burglary tools.

Armed BLM Protesters Join Socialist Rally for ‘Justice’ in Kenosha

A group of people armed with pistols and semi-automatic rifles joined a socialist group’s march in Kenosha, Wisconsin, on Sunday. The protesters called for “justice” after a jury acquitted Kyle Rittenhouse on all charges on Friday.

A group of about 50 protesters gathered outside the Kenosha County Courthouse on Sunday to march against what they called an injustice in the decision by a jury to find Kyle Rittenhouse not guilty on all charges. The group gathered around the banner of the Party for Socialism and Liberation.

Joining the group was four armed individuals who said they were from Chicago. The group appeared to have crossed state lines to march with two semi-automatic rifles, and multiple handguns.

One of the armed protesters, Eric Jordan, came to the rally with his 16-year-old daughter, Jade. Both came to the protest armed with semi-automatic rifles. Eric also openly carried a pistol.

Eric Jordan told Breitbart News he came to provide security for the planned march in Kenosha. When asked if he expected resistance, Jordan responded saying, “Just be careful, we need everyone to get home safe.” He also indicated he is a veteran.

His daughter, Jade, expressed disappointment in the not-guilty verdict handed to Rittenhouse on Friday.

“I was disappointed at the very least,” Jade said. “That means he can still legally be able to get a gun.”

Both rifles displayed orange “empty chamber indicators” to show they did not have a round chambered in the rifles.

The father and daughter joined the rest of the marchers who were led through the streets of downtown Kenosha by Jacob Blake’s uncle, Justin Blake. The riots in Kenosha last summer followed an incident where Kenosha police officers shot Jacob Blake during a domestic dispute. The shooting left Blake paralyzed. Prosecutors declined to file charges against the officers involved in the incident.

The shooting of Jacob Blake led to days of uncontrolled rioting in Kenosha. Kyle Rittenhouse responded to the riots by volunteering to protect Kenosha businesses being threatened. He ended up shooting three people, killing two in self-defense, the jury ruled on Friday.
