Abbott: Biden Spending Millions to Secure Borders of Other Countries, But Won’t Secure Our Own Border

(CNSNews.com) – Texas Gov. Greg Abbott said Friday that President Joe Biden is spending millions and maybe billions in taxpayer dollars to secure the borders of other countries like protecting Ukraine from Russian invasion but won’t deploy the resources necessary to secure the U.S. border with Mexico.

“You probably have reported on the lawlessness that we've seen in cities like San Francisco and Los Angeles and Portland and Seattle, Minneapolis, Chicago, New York City where they have de-fund the police and have criminals who are completely disregarding law enforcement. That attitude starts at the top,” Abbott told Fox Business’s “Mornings with Maria Bartiromo.”

“It starts with the president and when you have a president of the United States who himself is ignoring the law, refusing to enforce the law, allowing criminals to break that law, that goes down into the entire system, and that's why when Biden does not enforce the border security laws, when Biden allows people in the country illegally, willingly and telling the public that people get to roam around illegally,” he said.

“When Biden is involved in secretly transporting people that they apprehend down here and they drop off in New York state, people see that, and they know that's lawlessness, and I tell you what, there's an uprising in the attitude of Americans about this anger, and the lid’s about to blow the top, and unless and until the president himself is enforcing the rule of law and that includes the immigration laws passed by Congress that exist right now,” the governor said.

“It includes the Constitution of the United States that requires the president to secure the border. One last thing about this, Maria, Americans are angry. The president is deploying people, risking their lives and spending millions if not billions of American taxpayer dollars to secure the borders of other countries that probably won't have any effect in United States of America, but the president would not deploy resources need to secure our own border here in the United States,” he said.

When asked why the Biden administration is secretly transporting single adult male migrants into the interior of the United States, instead of deporting them as Title 42 calls for, Abbott said, “They are doing it secretly in part so the public will not see what’s going and will not be as angry as they obviously would be. I think another reason why they’re doing it secretly is because it’s in violation of federal law, and it also is in violation of a court order here in Texas.

“Let me explain. Texas brought a lawsuit against the Biden administration for releasing people like this, and they told the court they would not release any single adult men into the United States. Instead they would comply with Title 42 requirements and send them back, and they told the court, the federal district court here in Texas, that they would do that,” he said.

“They are acting contrary to what they told a federal judge. We’re going to be asking the federal judge to put sanctions on the Biden administration for not complying with the federal court order and not complying with federal law,” the governor said.

Abbott said that Biden needs to take accountability for his handling of the border and DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas specifically.

“I tell you where accountability needs to begin. So there's the president and the Secretary Mayorkas, and I saw calls already earlier this week by members of the U.S. House of Representatives calling for the impeachment of Mayorkas,” the governor said.

"That process needs to begin, and that process needs to go wherever it may lead. There's lawlessness in the United States of America right now, and it starts at the top position in the country. It needs to stop, and Biden needs to be held accountable for the lawlessness he himself is causing,” he said.

Abbott said that Biden is allowing people to cross the border by reducing the number of Border Patrol Agents deployed to the border.

“Texas as a state is deploying more resources in the border than the United States of America as a country. Texas taxpayers alone in just in the next two years, we are spending $3 billion to secure our border. I think that's for more than what the federal government is spending here in Texas or here in the United States,” he said.

“Why is it the states that are having to step up and do the job to secure the border? I’ll answer the question, because Biden wants open borders. His party wants open borders, which is why no one in leadership positions in Washington, D.C., are doing anything to hold the president accountable,” the governor said.
Biden campaigned on open borders and so did Texas gubernatorial candidate, the governor pointed out.

“Why do they have the ideology of opening our border to people from more than 150 countries across the world, I have no idea. However, what I do know that it's been reckless, dangerous and deadly, not just with fentanyl drugs, but with people killed in this region, people's ranches being ripped apart, people's neighborhoods being disturbed. There are people in this area,” Abbott said.

“You mentioned this is your fourth trip down here. I come down here on average more than 4 times a month, and I talk to the locals down her about what's going on. They are angry about the president. They are angry about the Democrat leadership in Washington, D.C., not doing anything to keep their communities safe,” he said.

Abbott said that O’Rourke complained about him trying to secure the border.

“So he's living up to the open-border policies that he campaigned on when he ran for president. Imagine what Texas will be like if we had Open Border Beto working along the side of Open Border Biden. It would be catastrophic, and that's why so many Texans, including historically Democrats in this region in South Texas supporting me, because they know I am the only one who’s going to protect them to keep them safe from these crazy open border policies,” he said.

On fentanyl, the governor said that enough fentanyl was seized by Texas law enforcement over the past year “to kill every man, woman and child in Texas, California, New York, Illinois and Florida combined.” Also, among those aged 18 to 45 this past year, “more people died of fentanyl than from COVID, than from car wrecks, than from cancer.”

“This is deadly, and we have a president who is allowing it to continue to come across the border, coming from China through Mexico to the United States, and it is Texas law enforcement that's having to step up and do it. The reason why Texas law enforcement is doing it is because Biden does not provide the adequate number of Border patrol whose sworn job it is to secure our border. Instead, they are just processing people who are coming across the border,” he said.

“Along those lines of potentially killing people off, the audience needs to know that a deadly dose of fentanyl is 2 milligrams. It’s smaller than two grains of salt, and before the end of this year, there will be more than enough fentanyl seized to kill all Americans, and so this is an existential threat to the United States,” Abbott said.

“It’s a national security-based issue especially the fact that it's coming from China. There are countless ways that this could be given to people that would kill so many Americans. The president has to stop sitting in his bedroom and get out and do something about this,” the governor said.

The Qur’an teaches that Infidel women can be lawfully taken for sexual use (cf. its allowance for a man to take “captives of the right hand,” 4:3, 4:24, 23:1-6, 33:50, 70:30). The Qur’an says: “O Prophet, tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to bring down over themselves of their outer garments. That is more suitable that they will be known and not be abused. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful.” (33:59) The implication there is that if women do not cover themselves adequately with their outer garments, they may be abused, and that such abuse would be justified.

(CNSNews.com) - The Department of Homeland Security put out two press statements on Wednesday announcing that the last Afghan refugees have been released into the United States from Camp Atterbury in Indiana and Holloman Air Force Base in New Mexico.

“To date, more than 66,000 Afghan evacuees have been resettled in communities across the country,” said DHS.

DHS noted that there are another 9,000 Afghans at four other military bases in the United States waiting for their own release into the country.

“DOD continues to provide temporary housing facilities for the remaining approximately 9,000 vulnerable Afghans who are in the process of completing their resettlement while at the following four military installations: Camp Atterbury, Indiana; Fort McCoy, Wisconsin; Fort Pickett, Virginia; and Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey,” said DHS.

Afghan refugees allowed into the United States after the U.S. military withdrew from Afghanistan last year include two categories: Special Immigrant Visa (SIV) holders and parolees.

SIV holders are Afghans who helped the United States in the conflict in Afghanistan and are permitted to become lawful permanent residents of the United States.

"Congress has enacted a series of legislative provisions since 2006 to enable certain Iraqi and Afghan nationals to become U.S. lawful permanent residents (LPRs)," the Congressional Research Service explains. "These provisions make certain Iraqis and Afghans who worked as translators or interpreters, or who were employed by, or on behalf of, the U.S. government in Iraq or Afghanistan, eligible for special immigrant visas (SIVs)."

Parolees are Afghans who did not help the United States in the conflict in Afghanistan but are allowed into the United States at the discretion of the secretary of DHS.

"The parole provision in the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA)," says the Congressional Research Service, "gives the Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) discretionary authority to 'parole into the United States temporarily under such conditions as he may prescribe only on a case-by-case basis for urgent humanitarian reasons or significant public benefit any alien applying for admission to the United States."

"Parole,” the CRS notes, “does not grant, nor entitle beneficiaries to later obtain, a lawful permanent resident (LPR) status.”

“As of January 27, the U.S. has welcomed more than 76,000 Afghans to the United States through Operation Allies Welcome, providing them with support and assistance as they begin their new lives in America – and we are prepared to welcome additional qualifying Afghans over the coming weeks and months,” DHS said in its statement on Wednesday.

In a September interview with CNSNews.com, Rep. Chris Smith (R.-N.J.) raised concerns about the vetting of the Afghans brought into the United States, noting that among those brought to Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst in his home state, 70 percent were parolees who had not worked to help the United States during the conflict.

“Do you think it is a problem with these parolees that they brought into New Jersey?” CNSNews.com asked Smith.

“I think it is a very serious problem,” Smith he said. “It could have an answer if they can find out who exactly that they are. Some of the women and children, especially, probably, the presumption would be that they’re okay. But there are others that would raise some very serious questions that reasonable people need to ask. And I asked that question when I was on the base visit. More than 70 percent of the people that were at Fort Dix then—it hasn’t changed, as far as I can ascertain—were parolees. Humanitarian parolees. Not SIVs.”

This week, Gen. Glen D. VanHerck, commander of U.S. Northern Command, thanked U.S. service members for their work in settling Afghan refugees into American communities.

“Since the beginning of Operation Allies Welcome, service members at this and seven other military installations provided essential support, ensuring Afghan nationals had safe and secure conditions while they completed resettlement requirements and prepared to transition to their new communities across America,” said Gen. VanHerck. “As Task Force Holloman concludes its support to the operation, the service members and the entire team should take great pride in all they accomplished.”

Afghan Refugee Who Sexually Assaulted 3-Year-Old Girl Claimed It Was Okay In His Culture

This should not be confused with the other Afghan sexual abuse of an underage minor at Fort McCoy which involved underage boys.

Bahrullah Noori, 20, is charged with one count of attempting to engage in a sex act with a minor by force and three counts of engaging in a sex act with a minor. One of the latter counts also alleges the use of force. Investigators say both of Noori’s alleged victims were under the age of 16.

The indictment specifically alleges that Noori touched the genitalia of one of his victims on three separate occasions while at Fort McCoy, an Army installation located approximately 100 miles northwest of Madison. One of the alleged assaults occurred in a barrack, while the other two took place in a bathroom.

This case involving Mohammed Tariq took place at Quantico Marine Corps Base.

A federal jury has convicted an Afghan refugee of sexually assaulting a 3-year-old girl at Quantico Marine Corps Base where he was housed.

Tariq was arrested in September at Camp Upshur in Quantico after Marines observed him fondling the girl, who was not related to him, above her clothes on her private parts.

According to court papers, Tariq tried to explain through interpreters that his conduct was acceptable in his culture. Efforts to have his statements suppressed were rejected by the judge.

Weren't we supposed to be bringing "interpreters" to America? All these interpreters seem to need interpreters.

But he's right, insofar that it is. The underlying question here is whether we want that culture in America. It's unfortunate that we never got to ask that question because it's only going to become a more pressing issue as we import more Afghans.

An Afghan evacuee has been charged with the rape of a woman in Missoula, Montana, the state's governor said Thursday – and he called for the Biden administration to halt all refugee resettlements until assurances are made about the vetting process.

Do we have enough interpreters yet?

Biden Plans to Cut Afghan Resettlement Process From 2 Years to 30 Days

It's a lot easier to speed up the vetting process when you're not actually vetting the incoming terrorists and rapists, just running the spelling of their current names on their current documents through a database to see if anything pops up.

Since America's a bit short of terrorists these days, Biden intends to speed up the process of dumping unvetted terrorists into southern states and Texas in the hope that they'll all vote a dozen times for him in between suicide bombings.

Biden's advisers are crafting a plan to accelerate bringing potentially thousands of Afghans to the U.S. from Qatar, according to a source with direct knowledge of the administration's internal deliberations on the subject.

What could go wrong?

It would allow Afghans to be screened, vetted, approved for refugee status and placed on planes to the United States within 30 days of their arrival at the military site in Qatar being used to house them.

It usually takes two to five years for refugee applicants to be resettled in the U.S.

2 years, 30 days, what's the difference? This way the terrorists will have more time to adapt to our culture, scope out our shopping malls and take hostages at our churches and synagogues.

Biden officials involved in the discussions have said they're confident the full refugee vetting process can be done in 30 days.

The full process? We already know that their vetting consists of running names through a database. They can just automate the process and go out to lunch.

And it sounds like that's what they're going to do.

Florida Teen Converts to Islam, Murders 13-Year-Old Boy

The questions the authorities and establishment media won't ask.

When Corey Johnson was 17, he murdered a 13-year-old boy, Jovanni Sierra Brand, and stabbed two other people because they “idolized celebrities and disrespected his Muslim faith.” Johnson is now 21. On Thursday, he got a life sentence for the murder, but no one seems to be pondering the larger implications of the case.

The UK’s Daily Mail reported Thursday that “Palm Beach County Judge Cheryl Caracuzzo sentenced Johnson to life in prison and said on Thursday she did not believe rehabilitation was likely for Johnson after he remained emotionless during the heartfelt testimony of Jovanni’s mother.”

When he was in court Thursday, Johnson did make an attempt to show remorse: “I wish I could take it back, I wish I could do something to make this right. I’d like to apologize not because it will change anything, but because I’m really truly sorry.” Johnson also, according to the Daily Mail, said that he “regretted following the Islamic extremist group ISIS, and that he hoped to help people to compensate for the crimes he had committed.”

The most important aspect of this story, however, apart from the lives lost and ruined, is the fact that Johnson had only recently converted to Islam when he killed Brand and had already come to the attention of law enforcement before he committed murder. “At the time of his arrest for the killing of Jovanni in 2018,” the Daily Mail reported, “Johnson already had federal charges pending against him for threatening a Catholic school in England.”

His case was so serious that FBI agents met with administrators at his high school; Johnson “had reached out to ISIS online saying that he wished to join the murderous terrorist group.” In October 2016, he sent threats to McAuley Catholic High School in Doncaster, England (there is no indication of why he chose that school). “Authorities said the threats were so serious that up to 100 students withdrew from the school for fear of an attack.” One of the messages Johnson sent to the school said: “We have our sights set on you, and by Allah we will kill every infidel student at this school inshallah) #McAuleySchoolMassacre.”

So he reached out to ISIS, wanted to join the terrorist group, and sent threats of a jihad massacre to a school. Yet over a year later he was still running around loose and unsupervised to the extent that he was able to buy a knife, even though he was underage, and use it on three people, killing one. Corey Johnson was never placed on a “watch list.” Nothing was done at all.

Local10.com reported at the time of the attack that “in his statement, Johnson advised he stabbed the victims because of his Muslim faith,” and that “just before the attack, Johnson was reading the Quran from his phone ‘to give him courage to carry out his intentions.’”

So now Jovanni Sierra Brand is dead, and there is no bringing him back, but surely authorities have learned from the blunders that led to his being killed and have taken steps to make sure that nothing like Johnson’s jihad attack happens again, right? Of course not. In the years immediately following 9/11, counterterror agents were taught that one sign of a potential jihad killer was a sudden turn to devout observance of Islam. Devout Muslims weren’t all jihadis, but all jihadis, especially those who were converts to Islam, were devout. During the Obama administration, however, all that was removed from counterterror training: it was “Islamophobic” and “singled Muslims out,” as if some jihad terrorists were Methodists, yet Methodism wasn’t being studied.

Years after that, Corey Johnson showed all the signs of being a dangerous jihadi. Nothing was done because to have acted upon those signs would have been “Islamophobic.” After the murder, Brand’s family was reportedly planning to sue the Publix supermarket chain for selling Johnson the knife he used as a murder weapon. They should instead have sued law enforcement for not watching Johnson more closely and the establishment media for relentlessly demonizing anyone who ever suggested that selling Johnson his Qur’an may have been just as dangerous as selling him the knife.

How many people even know that this incident happened at all? The murder of Jovanni Sierra Brand should have been the occasion for a national discussion about the phenomenon of converts to Islam becoming violent, which keeps happening, and what should be done about it. Has Johnson’s mosque been investigated? Who converted him to Islam? Has the person who converted Johnson converted others? No one is answering or even asking such questions. They don’t fit the narrative.

The Crime Wave Nobody Sees: Yet Another Muslim Rape Gang in the UK

The British political and media elites continue to ignore why this keeps happening.

If you thought that the Muslim rape gangs that plagued Britain for years while authorities did nothing for fear of being called “racists” or “Islamophobes” were a thing of the past, think again. A gang of six Muslims is in court now over charges that the forced eight underage girls into sexual activity multiple times between 2013 and 2017. There is no indication that this will be the last Muslim rape gang in shattered, staggering, dhimmi Britain, either. Yet still no one in Britain dares speak of the root causes of this appallingly recurring phenomenon.

The details are about as revolting as you might expect. The MailOnline reported Tuesday that the men “sexually exploited and abused vulnerable young girls after luring them over Facebook with the promise of drink and drugs.” They “committed the offences against eight girls under the age of 16 in the Redditch area of Worcestershire.”

Abdul Hussain, 21, Usmaan Asghar, 22, Arslan Tazarab, 25, Ethashan Tazarab, 21, Usman Ali, 28 and Numan Mohammed, 23, “are charged with a total of 24 sex offences going back almost ten years - including sexual assault and sexual activity with a child.”

Prosecutor Mark Heywood QC said: “This case is about eight girls in their early to middle teens and from 2013 to 2017 they were sexually abused by these defendants. Some were crudely groped simply because they were in reach. Some were lonely and wanted attention. Others had made poor lifestyle choices which made them vulnerable. This included drinking, taking drugs, and being sexually available - they were easily taken advantage of. One was faced with demands for oral sex, she gave up resisting. When she did resist and saying no, she was grabbed and forced to comply.”

Why does this keep happening? The answer to that question is quite clear, but no one wants to see it. In France, a Muslim quoted Qur’an while raping his victim. A survivor of a Muslim rape gang in the UK has said that her rapists would quote the Qur’an to her, and believed their actions justified by Islam. Thus it came as no surprise when Muslim migrants in France raped a girl and videoed the rape while praising Allah and invoking the Qur’an. In India, a Muslim gave a Qur’an and a prayer rug to the woman he was holding captive and repeatedly raping. And the victim of an Islamic State jihadi rapist recalled: “He told me that according to Islam he is allowed to rape an unbeliever. He said that by raping me, he is drawing closer to God…He said that raping me is his prayer to God.”

In India, a Muslim kidnapped and raped a 14-year-old Hindu girl, and forced her to read the Qur’an and Islamic prayers. In Pakistan, another Christian woman recounted that her rapist was also religious: “He threw me on the bed and started to rape me. He demanded I marry him and convert to Islam. I refused. I am not willing to deny Jesus and he said that if I would not agree he would kill me.” Rapists demanded that another girl’s family turn her over to them, claiming that she had recited the Islamic profession of faith during the rape and thus could not live among infidels.

However, anyone who points all this out will be excoriated as a “racist” and an “Islamophobe,” and accordingly ignored. This has been going for years, and there is no sign that it’s going to stop anytime soon.
