A plan advancing through the Arizona state legislature, introduced by Arizona State Rep. John Kavanaugh (R), would require the state to keep a record of crimes committed by illegal aliens.

Kavanaugh introduced the plan, known as H.B. 2326, in January. Essentially, the plan would require all superior court probation departments in Arizona to keep a record of illegal alien criminals with identifying information and specifics on the crimes they committed.

An illegal alien who commits a crime in Arizona would have their name, the crime they were convicted of, their date of conviction, their subsequent criminal sentence, their booking photo, as well as their height and weight turned over to the Arizona Criminal Justice Commission (ACJC).

The ACJC would then be required to publicly post the information to their website.

Democrat State Rep. Alma Hernandez joined every Republican state representative to pass the plan out of the state House on February 23. On March 10, the plan was passed out of the state Senate’s Judiciary Committee and now is awaiting passage by Republicans who have a majority in the Arizona State Senate.

The plan needs the backing of State Senate President Karen Fann (R) and Gov. Doug Ducey (R).

Passing the plan would be a historic achievement for Angel Families, who have fought to keep records of illegal alien crimes. Currently, the federal government and most states do not keep a daily or annual record of crimes committed by illegal aliens.

The lack of transparency has ensured that American citizens are unaware of the extent to which illegal aliens commit crimes after their entry to the United States either through overstaying a visa or illegally crossing international borders.

Rep. Mo Brooks (R-AL) has long estimated that about 2,000 Americans are killed by illegal aliens across the U.S. every year.

At the same time, hundreds of thousands of border crossers and illegal aliens are being released into the U.S. interior every few months. From January 2021 to August 2021, for example, more than half a million were released into the U.S. interior.

In January of this year, more than 62,500 border crossers and illegal aliens were released into the U.S. interior — a foreign population the size of Council Bluffs, Iowa.

Rep. Ted Budd: Sanctuary Cities Incentivize Dangerous Drugs, Human Trafficking

U.S. Senate candidate Rep. Ted Budd (R-NC) said he was in a truck with Border Patrol agents witnessing the chaos at America’s southern border where agents had to get out and “arrest cartel members that were coming across.”

“Some of them were human trafficking. Some of them were bringing fentanyl and other drugs,” Budd said during an interview on Breitbart News Saturday, recounting his trip to the border late last year.

Budd, who has been to the border several times, told host and Breitbart News’s D.C. Bureau Chief Matthew Boyle about Border Patrol’s morale on the ground as well as the state of former President Donald Trump’s unfinished border wall.

LISTEN:

“[The agents] said, ‘we have to have an administration that has our back, and we don’t have that.’ And we were seeing tens of millions of dollars worth of steel, just laying there, millions of dollars worth of diesel equipment, just sitting there,” he said, noting that construction had been “idle since January 20, inauguration day.”

Since his trip, the Trump-endorsed congressman has set sanctuary cities in his sights, telling Breitbart News that cities who enable illegal immigration are responsible for accompanying crime and trafficking of various kinds. He also detailed a bill he reintroduced in late January called the Justice for Victims of Sanctuary Cities Act. The bill would allow the victims of crimes committed by illegal immigrants to sue sanctuary cities if that is where the crime occurred.

“These sanctuary cities are incentivizing this illegal traffic, which not only brings sometimes dangerous people, it definitely brings dangerous drugs and human trafficking here,” he said.

A statement from Budd’s office released at the time of the bill’s reintroduction noted that the legislation was created in “direct response” to a “growing number of sanctuary jurisdictions across the nation…”

“… (Including North Carolina’s Buncombe, Cumberland, Durham, Forsyth, Guilford, Mecklenburg, and Wake Counties) that either have official sanctuary policies or are refusing to comply with detainer requests and release notifications from the Department of Homeland Security,” the statement reads.

Just last week, Budd sat down with “Angel Families,” or families whose loved ones were the victims of crimes committed by illegal aliens. Budd said often in these cases, American lives are lost to traffic accidents or even shootings as a result of illegal immigration.

“Unfortunately, they are not in an uncommon situation. It’s all too common,” he said.

Budd said he also hopes to tackle the copious amounts of fentanyl and drugs similar to fentanyl pouring over the southern border. On March 7, Budd joined several fellow Republicans in introducing the Save Americans from the Fentanyl Emergency (SAFE) Act, which would permanently schedule all fentanyl-related substances as Schedule 1 drugs.

“A lot of these drugs that are produced in China and sold through Mexico that come to the us, they aren’t actually fentanyl, but they’re similar drugs… ” he said. “…They aren’t on the Schedule 1 of these tough horrendous drugs, and so the SAFE Act takes those drugs and puts them on Schedule 1, which gives law enforcement the tools they need to hold these people in prison and in jail until they can get their justice and prison time.”

Budd’s office noted that fentanyl overdoses were the main cause of deaths for people ages 18-45 from 2020 to 2021.

Laredo Sector Border Patrol agents interdicted a human smuggling incident involving a tractor-trailer. After the driver attempted to flee, agents eventually found 115 migrants, including three children, locked inside the trailer.

Laredo North Station Border Patrol agents attempted to stop a tractor-trailer traveling east toward the interstate highway on the evening of March 17. The driver failed to yield when the agent activated his emergency lights, according to information obtained from Laredo Sector Border Patrol officials.

Agents eventually stopped the driver near mile marker 10. During a search of the trailer, agents found 115 migrants loved inside with no means of escape in the event of a crash or abandonment by the human smuggler.

The 115 migrants included three unaccompanied minors. The agents identified the migrants as citizens of El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Mexico. All had no documents allowing them to legally be present in the United States.

Laredo Sector Chief Patrol Agent Carl E. Landrum tweeted photos of three smuggling attempts during this timeframe that resulted in the apprehension of 193 migrants during a 36-hour period.

Elsewhere in the sector, Laredo West agents teamed up with the Laredo Sector Horse Patrol Unit to apprehend 20 more migrants out on arid ranch lands. Chief Landrum tweeted photos documenting the arrests.

Exclusive: Angel Parents Meet with House Republicans on Countering Democrats’ Unfettered Immigration

Angel Parents, whose children were killed by illegal aliens, met with House Republicans at a Republican Study Committee (RSC) gathering this week in Washington, DC to discuss countering the Democrats’ unfettered immigration policies, Breitbart News exclusively learned.

Angel Dad Don Rosenberg, whose son Drew was killed by an illegal alien in 2010, and Angel Mom Maureen Maloney, whose son Matthew was killed in 2011 by an illegal alien, spoke before a room full of House Republicans at the invitation of RSC Chairman Rep. Jim Banks (R-IN).

Rosenberg and Maloney, who lead Advocates for Victims of Illegal Alien Crime (AVIAC), each told their stories and the sanctuary policies that protected the illegal aliens convicted of killing their sons.

“It is long overdue for liberal sanctuary jurisdictions to face the consequences for reckless sanctuary policies that lead to violent crime and deaths — violent crimes and deaths that were all preventable,” Maloney said in her prepared remarks.

The pair urged House Republicans to throw their support behind Rep. Ted Budd’s (R-NC) “Justice for Victims of Sanctuary Cities Act” which has been endorsed by former President Trump. The legislation would create a private right for Angel Families to sue sanctuary jurisdictions for compensatory damages in civil court.

Sanctuary jurisdictions refusing to waive their immunity as it relates to sanctuary-related civil action would run the risk of having their Community Development Block Grant funding withheld, the legislation dictates.

“When did harboring criminals and obstructing justice become legal?” Rosenberg said in his prepared remarks at the RSC meeting. “But so far that is what the courts have decided. That’s why the ‘Justice for Victims of Sanctuary Cities Act’ is so important. Hold the woke, virtue-signaling public servants accountable and let us see how fast they are to run away from their atrocious dangerous policies.”

Budd’s legislation should only be the beginning for a rigorous agenda that focuses on shutting down illegal immigration and its facilitators at non-governmental organizations (NGOs), Rosenberg and Maloney told Breitbart News.

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) has vowed not to consider amnesty for illegal aliens if he becomes Speaker of the House next year. Bringing legislation to the House floor, not just vowing to stop legislation, must be at the forefront of a House Republican majority agenda, Angel Families say.

“They need to hit the ground running with illegal immigration,” Maloney told Breitbart News in a conversation following the RSC meeting. “They need to have bills ready to go.”

Currently, Republicans in the House and Senate are hoping to flip both chambers with a wave of GOP wins in the upcoming midterm elections in November.

Rather than making big promises with no legislative gameplan to counter the nation’s mass immigration influx, as former House Speaker Paul Ryan did when Trump and Republicans swept every branch in 2016, Angel Families are hoping a House Republican majority brings a rush of bills to the House floor that allows voters to see where members stand on a multitude of issues from sanctuary jurisdictions to asylum laws to visa overstays.

“You’ve got to force lawmakers to not only introduce bills but actually take a vote,” Rosenberg told Breitbart News.

The last legislative session saw a number of pieces of legislation introduced by House Republicans to stem illegal immigration but most of which languished in their respective committees, preventing them from ever coming up for a vote.

Banks’ RSC budget for Fiscal Year 2022 endorsed a series of bills such as Rep. Clay Higgins’ (R-LA) “Finish the Wall Act” to continue all border wall construction projects that were on schedule before President Joe Biden took office. The legislation has 86 co-sponsors, including high-ranking members of the House Homeland Security Committee.

similar plan introduced by Rep. John Katko (R-NY) was the only immigration-related legislation that McCarthy and House Minority Whip Steve Scalise (R-LA) signed onto last session.

The RSC has also endorsed Rep. Matt Rosendale’s (R-MT) “Remain in Mexico Act” to codify into federal law the Trump-era policy requiring border crossers to stay in Mexico while their asylum claims are adjudicated, Rep. Randy Feenstra’s (R-IA) “Sarah’s Law” to require federal authorities to detain illegal aliens accused of murder or serious bodily injury, and Rep. Warren Davidson’s (R-OH) “Fairness in Representation Amendment” that would require the Census Bureau to apportion congressional districts based on American citizens.

A House GOP majority agenda could also include, with overwhelming support from their constituents, reductions to the nation’s historically high legal immigration levels where more than 1.2 million green cards are rewarded to foreign nationals every year and a million more temporary work visas are given out annually adding to a large visa overstay population.

Such a plan would see major support among Republican voters to end the process known as “chain migration” where newly naturalized citizens can bring an unlimited number of foreign relatives to the United States.

The latest Rasmussen Report survey finds that 82 percent of Republicans want a reduction to current legal immigration levels, 71 percent of Republicans support ending chain migration, and 64 percent of Republicans want Congress to require businesses to hire jobless Americans over allocating out more work visas to foreign nationals.

An illegal alien is charged with brutally murdering a couple who were riding bikes back to their home in Daytona Beach, Florida.

Jean Robert Macean, a 32-year-old illegal alien, was arrested and charged late last week for the murder of a husband and wife — 55-year-old Brenda Aultman and 48-year-old Terry Aultman.

According to the Daytona Beach Police Department, the Aultmans were riding their bikes back to their home following a day at the Bike Week festival when they were encountered by Macean.

Police said the Aultmans were found in a grassy area next to a sidewalk with slashes and stabs all over their bodies. Both were declared dead at the scene. Police took Macean into custody late last week and charged him with two counts of first-degree murder.

The Aultmans’ bikes were also recovered from the scene.

Macean was initially arrested in Orlando, Florida, and taken into Orange County police custody.

Macean was booked into the Volusia County, Florida, jail and slapped with an “illegal immigrant/alien” charge for which there is no bond. Details of how Macean arrived in the United States remain unknown.

An obituary posted for Brenda Aultman describes her life with her husband as one filled with love and happiness with frequent trips to the beach. Aultman leaves behind her two children, Sara Turner and Josh Turner, as well as her granddaughter, Nico.

“She had a large family, with many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and daughter,” the obituary states. “Brenda loved the beach and shopping for the next accessory for her home.”

“She was an entrepreneur and had a definite flair for design. Recently, she purchased her dream home in Daytona Beach with her husband,” the obituary continues. “They enjoyed walking to the beach and watching the sunset. She was living her best life. She touched everyone around her and was greatly loved. She was gentle and giving to the extreme. Brenda was happy in her life; she will be greatly missed in her death.”

GoFundMe has been created by Brenda’s daughter to help cover funeral costs.

Two men given probation by Third District Judge Douglas Hogan after having raped an unconscious 14-year-old girl in West Jordan, Utah, originally arrived in the United States from the Central African Republic, Breitbart News confirmed.

Richard Djasserambaye, 26-years-old, and Dodjim Leclair, 29-years-old, were convicted of raping a 14-year-old girl who was in and out of consciousness in 2017 after meeting her on the social media app Snapchat.

Nasouh Albasis-Albasis, 24-years-old, was also convicted for filming the rape.

Hogan, appointed by former Utah Gov. Gary Herbert (R) made headlines this week when he offered Djasserambaye, Leclair, and Albasis-Albasis plea bargains that allow them to escape prison sentences and serve just 48 months of probation.

The Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency confirmed to Breitbart News that Djasserambaye and Leclair are now both in the agency’s custody where they await an immigration hearing and possible deportation.

The pair arrived in the U.S. from the Central African Republic at a prior date that was not disclosed to Breitbart News. Their immigration status, whether they arrived on visas or had overstayed visas, was also not disclosed.

Illegal Alien Acquitted of Killing Kate Steinle Pleads Guilty to Gun Charges

The seven-time felon, five-time deported

illegal alien acquitted of murdering 32-year-

old Kate Steinle in 2015 has pleaded guilty to

federal gun charges, prosecutors revealed on

Tuesday.

Following Steinle’s 2015 killing on a pier in San Francisco, California, 51-year-old illegal alien Jose Garcia Zarate was charged with her murder after being caught on surveillance footage running from the shooting.

After his arrest, Garcia Zarate admitted to shooting and killing Steinle, who was walking on the pier at the time with her father, saying he chose San Francisco because it was a sanctuary city that shields criminal illegal aliens from arrest and deportation by federal immigration officials.

On November 30, 2017, Garcia Zarate was found not guilty of murdering Steinle.

Following the verdict, Garcia Zarate was hit with federal gun charges for having a firearm while in the United States illegally. In February 2020, as Breitbart News reported, Garcia Zarate had initially been deemed mentally unfit to stand trial for the charges, but last month, a doctor found him fit for trial.

Late last year, Garcia Zarate’s attorneys pleaded with President Joe Biden to free him from federal custody. On Tuesday, prosecutors announced that Garcia Zarate had pleaded guilty to the charges.

“The charges are because I was in the country illegally and I had a firearm,” Garcia Zarate said through an interpreter.

Report: Biden Frees More Criminal Illegal Aliens into U.S. Communities Thanks to ‘Sanctuary Country’ Orders

The number of criminal illegal aliens who are going unarrested and not deported from the United States has increased dramatically, a Washington Times report states.

Last year, President Joe Biden and his top Department of Homeland Security (DHS) officials implemented a series of orders protecting most of the nation’s 11 to 22 million illegal aliens from arrest and deportation by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents.

The most expansive is Biden’s so-called “sanctuary country” orders that prevent ICE agents from arresting and deporting most illegal aliens by focusing on a small percentage who commit violent crimes, are terrorists, or who are known gang members.

In addition, Biden has given illegal aliens a number of “protected areas” where they can avoid arrest and deportation, is currently working to further crack down on ICE arrests, and has shielded illegal aliens from being arrested at most courthouses.

Altogether, the moves resulted in massive drops in arrests and deportations of illegal aliens, though the administration has refused to publish additional data that would show the scope of the lack of interior immigration enforcement under Biden.

Stephen Dinan at the Washington Times, though, exclusively published unreleased figures that show the Biden administration arrested 48 percent fewer convicted criminal illegal aliens, conducted 63 percent fewer deportations for convicted criminal illegal aliens, and issued 46 percent fewer requests for ICE agents to take custody of criminal illegal aliens in Fiscal Year 2021.

As a result, the figures indicate, more criminal illegal aliens are continuing to live freely in American communities without the fear of being arrested and deported by ICE agents.

“As I’ve warned for months now, Biden is mass freeing criminal illegal aliens from our nation’s prisons and jails and then releasing them into our neighborhoods, near our schools and offices, and all across our nation. A truly sinister policy,” Stephen Miller of America First Legal and former senior adviser to President Trump wrote in a statement.

Specifically, Dinan reports that just 36,619 convicted criminal illegal aliens were arrested by ICE agents in Fiscal Year 2021, as well as less than 40,000 deportations of convicted criminal illegal aliens.

In comparison, in Fiscal Year 2019, more than 92,000 convicted criminal illegal aliens were arrested by ICE agents and more than 150,000 convicted criminal illegal aliens were deported.

The all-important ICE detainer data — where agents request local law enforcement agencies to turn criminal illegal aliens over to their custody instead of releasing them back into the U.S. interior — fell sharply, according to Dinan’s report.

Whereas in Fiscal Year 2019 nearly 165,500 ICE detainers were issued for criminal illegal aliens, in Fiscal Year 2021, just 65,940 ICE detainers were issued.

One ICE source told Dinan that agency officials have had the full data for months but have refused to publish it. When ICE officials finally published its annual report earlier this week, none of this specific data was included.

Exclusive–Ashley Hinson: Biden Is Surging Illegal Immigration While Driving Down Deportations

Alex Wong/Getty Images

President Joe Biden’s lax border policies and gutting of interior immigration enforcement are causing illegal immigration to surge while driving down deportations of illegal aliens, Rep. Ashley Hinson (R-IA) says.

During an exclusive interview with SiriusXM Patriot’s Breitbart News Daily, Hinson slammed Biden and his Department of Homeland Security (DHS) for their unwillingness to stem illegal immigration before it spills into American communities.

LISTEN:

“Illegal immigration is surging up, deportations are down and that is a direct result of the policies from this administration,” Hinson said. “We know that there were over 164,000 illegal immigrant encounters at our southern border in February. That is, of course, the worst February on record in more than 20 years and again, we continue to see the reports of the dangerous sex criminals and gang members.”

“The administration has no idea who is coming into our country and its clear, they don’t care,” Hinson continued.

Specifically, Hinson cited Biden’s so-called “sanctuary country” orders at the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency as the lead culprit to the massive drop in arrests and deportations of illegal aliens in Fiscal Year 2021.

“While the administration continues to turn a blind eye to the crisis at the border, Americans want accountability … we know that deportations are down because they have directed ICE not to do their jobs in this case,” Hinson said.

“They set out very lax standards as far as deportations go. So we know that more than 50 percent of the ICE removals in Fiscal Year 2021 came in the five months before the guidance issued by the Biden administration,” she continued. “… we are seeing fewer deportations and more dangerous people in our country as a result.”

In addition, Hinson noted the Biden administration’s expansive Catch and Release operation whereby hundreds of thousands of border crossers and illegal aliens every few months are flown into American communities, often in secret, by private contractors funded by American taxpayers.

“I introduced a piece of legislation called the ‘Stop the Betrayal Act‘ which would stop taxpayer dollars from funding those flights,” Hinson said. “We know it’s hundreds of millions of dollars that this administration has spent to do that … flying not only children but single men into our country who are here illegally.”

“They’re turning a blind eye to how illegal immigration impacts our communities and how it impacts families,” Hinson said.

Hinson told the story of an Angel Family whose daughter had been assaulted by an illegal alien in Iowa while babysitting.

“Their daughter was 16-years-old and had been babysitting. An illegal immigrant who was arrested several times before made his way up to Iowa … he feigned illness and she went to assist him and he tried to attack her,” Hinson said.

“She is so resilient to have fought him off. She fought him off three times,” she continued. “I looked that family in the eye and said I would do everything I possibly can because I understand the impact that this is going to have on this young woman for the rest of her life.”

In 2021, more than two million border crossers and illegal aliens arrived at the southern border. This year, experts predict more than 2.1 million will arrive.

U.S., Mexican Officials Brace for Migrants Fleeing Inflation

Economic hardship is hardly a new root cause for the exodus of Central American countries — but new data indicate that inflation will worsen the existing migrant crisis at the U.S. border. American and Mexican officials are actively preparing for the inflation-driven surge expected in the coming months.

Officials from both countries discussed their concerns about rising food and energy prices with regard to irregular migration, according to a Bloomberg report. Inflation is hot well beyond U.S. borders and is keenly felt in Central American nations.

In February, Honduras and El Salvador saw the fastest consumer price increases since 2014 and 2011, respectively. Inflation in Mexico was 7.3% in February, near the two-decade high reached in November, according to Bloomberg.

A White House official confirmed to Bloomberg the issue of inflation was discussed during a recent trip by DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas to Mexico and Costa Rica earlier this week. Officials involved in the talks believe inflation will be the impetus for an additional wave of migration.

As part of the talks, Mexico is urging President Joe Biden to prepare to remove migrants directly into their home countries. The plan, in the Mexican government’s opinion, would help to discourage migrants entirely.

The United States is still heavily reliant on the CDC’s emergency Title 42 authority to quickly expel some Central American migrants to Mexico. The order allows DHS to expel the migrants without entertaining time-consuming asylum petitions.
