PELOSI AND THE MUSLIMS - Pelosi: ‘America’s Large and Diverse Muslim Communities Have Been Essential to Our Nation’s Success’

Washington State Man Reads the Qur’an, Gets the Idea to Kill a Woman

But anyone who suggests a causal relationship is a racist, bigoted “Islamophobe.”

The facts of the case are nothing short of gruesome: Seattle’s KING 5 reported Wednesday that “Tyrone Bernard Wells Jr. was charged with first-degree murder in King County Superior Court on Wednesday after a woman was found 'brutally murdered’ at his Shoreline home. Prosecutors requested Wells’ bail be set at $5 million to reflect the ‘extreme danger’ he poses to the community if he was released from jail, according to charging documents.” Wells himself explained that he committed this brutal murder after reading the Qur’an, which gave him the idea that he should kill his victim. Since Americans have been thoroughly indoctrinated by this point, there is no indication that anyone connected with the case has even for a second entertained the idea that maybe there is something about this Qur’an that incites violence.

Wells himself alerted police to his crime, calling 911 after the deed was done and saying he wanted to “report a murder.” He told dispatchers that “the murder was on my account…I murdered her,” and explained that “he used a hatchet and a pair of bolt cutters to kill the woman.”

When police arrived, Wells was waiting for them, his clothes smeared with blood. Inside his apartment was an “extremely bloody” scene, and a dead woman, Randee Leeann Rios, with “major trauma about the head.” Wells’ hatchet and bolt cutters were near the body.

Wells “told police he used methamphetamine and had been awake ‘since Wednesday.’ The last time he reported using meth was the day before the murder, on Saturday, March 26. That night, Wells invited Rios to come to his apartment to stay the night. Wells told police he had the ‘premeditation’ to kill her at the time he invited her over.” This “premeditation” took a form that hasn’t often been seen in the United States up to now.

Wells explained that “he had been reading the Quran before Rios came over and told police ‘that verses in the Quran seemed to indicate to him that it would be necessary for him to kill Rios.’” For some reason, Wells thought this detail could be taken as exonerating or extenuating, as he “later told police, ‘For the record… I’m not trying to throw that religion thing in there as a defense.’” Noted.

Now, Wells must be mentally ill, right? After all, how could anyone read the Qur’an and get the idea to commit an act of unimaginable violence? Could it be, on the other hand, that Wells happened upon the passages that direct believers to “kill them wherever you find them,” (2:191, 4:89) or to “kill the idolaters wherever you find them” (9:5), or to “strike the necks” of the unbelievers (47:4), or above all, to beat women “from whom you fear disobedience” (4:34)?

No one, left or right, in the American public square today wants to admit it, but the unpleasant fact is that there are plenty of passages in the Qur’an that Tyrone Bernard Wells Jr. could have read in a manner that led him believe that he should kill Randee Leeann Rios. This is also true internationally Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan said in February that “the West conveniently associated Islam with terrorism but in the last 20 years, Muslim countries unfortunately, did not respond to this narrative. Muslim leaders should have stood up to the West and made it clear that there is no link between Islam, or any other religion, with terrorism.” See? The reason why anyone thinks “Islamic terrorism” is a reality, as opposed to the genuine threat of “right-wing extremism,” is because of the ever-dastardly non-Muslim West. And really, who else’s fault could it be?

Back in the real world, however, it is false to claim that the West associated Islam with terrorism. The terrorists themselves did that. Take 9/11, which is just one of innumerable possible examples. In March 2009, the masterminds of the 9/11 plot, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, Ramzi bin As-Shibh, Walid bin ‘Attash, Mustafa Ahmed AI-Hawsawi, and ‘Ali ‘abd Al-’Aziz ‘Ali – styling themselves as the “9/11 Shura Council” –wrote a lengthy communiqué titled “The Islamic Response to the Government’s Nine Accusations.”

In it, they wrote: “Many thanks to God, for his kind gesture, and choosing us to perform the act of Jihad for his cause and to defend Islam and Muslims. Therefore, killing you and fighting you, destroying you and terrorizing you, responding back to your attacks, are all considered to be great legitimate duty in our religion….We ask to be near to God, we fight you and destroy you and terrorize you. The Jihad in god’s [sic] cause is a great duty in our religion.” They quoted numerous Qur’an verses, including one stating that “to those against whom war is waged, permission is given (to fight,) because they are wronged and verily, Allah is most powerful for their aid” (22:39), and another commanding Muslims to “fight in the way of Allah those who fight you, but be not the transgressor, Allah likes not the transgressors” (2:190). They even quoted the notorious “Verse of the Sword”: “Then fight and slay the pagans wherever you find them, and seize them, and besiege them and lie in wait for them in each and every ambush” (9:5).

To cinch their case, they used two verses enjoining Muslims to strike terror into the hearts of their foes: Soon shall we cast terror into the hearts of the unbelievers, for that they joined companies with Allah, for which he has sent no authority; There [sic] place will be the fire; and evil is the home of the wrongdoers” (3:151); and “Against them make ready your strength to the utmost of your power, including steeds of war, to strike terror into the heart of the enemies of Allah and your enemies” (8:60).

There are innumerable other examples, and 40,000 jihad attacks worldwide since 9/11. The devil can quote Scripture for his own purpose, but it is clear that there are all too many Muslims today who see the Qur’an’s exhortation to violence and more as valid for our time. The jihad passages in the Qur’an are anything but a dead letter. Tyrone Bernard Wells Jr. just reminded us of that.

The aunt of the Palestinian terrorist responsible for a shooting attack that killed five people in a Tel Aviv suburb last week spoke openly of her support for him, stating she was “happy” he became a martyr, while praising the shooter’s confidence and courageousness.

Rim Hamarsheh, the aunt of 26-year-old Palestinian gunman Diaa Hamarsheh, who opened fire on civilians with an automatic weapon on Tuesday evening, described her nephew’s uniqueness in a video posted on the Sanad News channel on Wednesday.

“May Allah be pleased with Diaa,” she said. “You cannot find young men like this (anymore).”

She then claimed a clip of the attack showed Diaa’s “confidence” and accuracy.

“We were surprised when we heard the news but when we saw the video, how he walked with confidence as if he was walking in his own home and every shot hit its target, we cannot even describe how we feel,” she said.

Hamarsheh admitted to being sad over the loss of her nephew but clarified she was happy he had become a martyr.

“We are sad that he is gone and not with us anymore, but at the same time we are happy that he is a martyr,” she said.

The clip ends with her praising the terrorist’s courage, claiming his kind is hard to find.

“What he did is not something that anyone is capable of doing,” she said. “Not everyone possesses this kind of courage.”

Over the last week, masses of Palestinians in multiple cities came out to celebrate the attack that killed five people.

Hamarsheh, a Palestinian from a West Bank city near Jenin, was smuggled into Israel illegally and began a shooting spree with an M16 assault rifle on the streets of the ultra-Orthodox city of Bnei Brak in central Israel, as Breitbart News reported.

Bnei Brak is one of the most densely populated cities in Israel and the world.

Dozens of pictures and videos emerged of Palestinians throughout the West Bank and Gaza Strip handing out sweets as per the tradition in the aftermath of a deadly attack against Israelis.

Egypt: No Justice For—and No Justices Are—Christian Women

Shameless and open discrimination for the world to see.

“To date, no hearings have been set, no reparation has been provided, and no courts have sought to move the case forward.”  Such is how a recent report describes the plight of So‘ad Thabet, a Coptic Christian grandmother in her seventies living in Egypt.

On May 20, 2016, a mob of some 300 Muslim men descended on her home, stripped her completely naked, beat, spit on, and paraded her in the streets of al-Karm village (in Minya governorate) to jeers, whistles, and triumphant shouts of “Allahu Akbar.”

(CNSNews.com) - House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D.-Calif.) put out a statement on Friday welcoming the start of the month of Ramadan and paying tribute to America’s Muslim community.

“For generations, America’s large and diverse Muslim communities have been essential to our nation’s success: whether serving on the frontlines of the pandemic, advancing the fight against injustice in our communities or enriching our cultural tapestry,” Pelosi said

“Despite the invaluable contributions of Muslim Americans, Islamophobia continues to threaten our Muslim communities and undermine Americans’ most cherished national values, with hate crimes against Muslims on the rise in recent years,” she said. “That is why the House has taken action to combat religious and racial discrimination, proudly passing the NO BAN Act and Access to Counsel Act last year to protect civil rights and prevent executive abuses of authority.

“As our nation and the world continue to grapple with ongoing challenges, Ramadan serves as a powerful reminder to embrace the values of charity, selflessness and compassion for others,” said Pelosi.

Ramadan commemorates the time when God revealed the Quran to the Prophet Muhammad.

Ramadan, explains Britannica.com, is “the ninth month of the Muslim calendar and the holy month of fasting. It begins and ends with the appearance of the crescent moon. Because the Muslim calendar year is shorter than the Gregorian calendar year, Ramadan begins 10–12 days earlier each year, allowing it to fall in every season throughout a 33-year cycle. Ramadan lasts from Saturday, April 2 to Sunday, May 1 in 2022. (Dates are dependent on the appearance of the crescent moon and may vary across countries.)”

“Islamic tradition states that it was during Ramadan, on the ‘Night of Power’ (Laylat al-Qadr)—commemorated on one of the last 10 nights of Ramadan, usually the 27th night—that God revealed to the Prophet Muhammad the Qurʾān, Islam’s holy book, ‘as a guidance for the people,’” says Britannica.com.

Here is the full text of the statement Speaker Pelosi put out to celebrate the Holy Month of Ramadan:

Speaker Nancy Pelosi: “Today at sundown, Muslim communities in America and around the world joyfully welcome the Holy Month of Ramadan.  Each year, the emergence of the new moon brings a season of self-reflection, spiritual renewal and gratitude for life’s blessings.

“For generations, America’s large and diverse Muslim communities have been essential to our nation’s success: whether serving on the frontlines of the pandemic, advancing the fight against injustice in our communities or enriching our cultural tapestry.  Despite the invaluable contributions of Muslim Americans, Islamophobia continues to threaten our Muslim communities and undermine Americans’ most cherished national values, with hate crimes against Muslims on the rise in recent years.  That is why the House has taken action to combat religious and racial discrimination, proudly passing the NO BAN Act and Access to Counsel Act last year to protect civil rights and prevent executive abuses of authority.  We must honor our nation’s promise, as President George Washington famously declared: ‘To bigotry no sanction, to persecution no assistance.’  House Democrats will not relent until we send religious bigotry into the dustbin of history and build a safer future for Muslim Americans and for every American.

“As our nation and the world continue to grapple with ongoing challenges, Ramadan serves as a powerful reminder to embrace the values of charity, selflessness and compassion for others.  Ramadan Mubarak to all who celebrate, and may this month bring peace and blessings to all.”

Orthodox Christians, for whom the Hagia Sophia was their grandest cathedral prior to the Ottoman conquest, were particularly outraged over its 2020 conversion.

The Hagia Sophia in Istanbul, formerly Constantinople, held its first Ramadan prayers in 88 years on Friday to mark the start of the Islamic month of fasting, after being converted into a mosque in 2020.

The Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque — once the Church of the Holy Wisdom, before the Turks’ violent conquest of its city — held its first tarawih prayer since 1934, when the cathedral-turned-mosque was converted into a museum by the secularising government of Kemal Atatürk.

Turkey’s President Recept Tayyip Erdogan had converted the Hagia Sophia into a mosque in 2020 despite protests from local Christians and many abroad — although Erdogan achieved his conversion of the iconic house of worship with less accompanying destruction than Mehmet II in 1453, at least:

The conquering sultan, Mehmet II, personally oversaw the conversion of Hagia Sophia. Crosses were demolished and exchanged for crescents, altars and bells were destroyed, icons were burned or hacked to pieces, mosaics and frescoes depicting Christian imagery were plastered over, and most of the cathedral’s priests were killed or enslaved. In time, four colossal minarets were erected to surround Hagia Sophia, producing the iconic image that has come to be globally associated with Ottoman Constantinople and Turkish Istanbul.

Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America, Metropolis of Chicago

Due to the Wuhan virus pandemic, Ramadan prayers did not take place in the Hagia Sophia in 2021, according to a report from the Andalou news agency.

According to the Turkish outlet, due to a number of factors including high vaccination rates and relatively low numbers of cases and deaths, the government decided to allow Muslims to attend the Hagia Sophia to mark the start of Ramadan and prayers will be held throughout the month.

Orthodox Christians, for whom the Hagia Sophia was their grandest cathedral prior to the Ottoman conquest, were particularly outraged over its 2020 conversion.

In September of that year, for example, the Greek Orthodox Church of the United States petitioned the United Nations to force the Turkish government to protect the Christian heritage of the cathedral.

“By unilaterally changing the status, structure and name of these UNESCO sites, with particular significance to Orthodox Christians, Turkey is in violation of its obligations under international law to preserve cultural heritage and to respect the political, cultural and religious freedoms of Orthodox Christians in Turkey and abroad,” Archdiocese of America counsel Christina Hioureas warned.

In neighbouring Greece, polls showed that a majority of Greeks were unhappy with the weak international response to the conversion, with 87 per cent saying they were disappointed in the reaction of the European Union, in particular.

Will Biden Fund ISIS in Israel to Aid the 'Palestinians'?

The Biden administration blames Israeli “violence” while supporting Islamic terror.

Daniel Greenfield, a Shillman Journalism Fellow at the Freedom Center, is an investigative journalist and writer focusing on the radical Left and Islamic terrorism.

"In the name of Allah, the merciful and compassionate," Mahmoud Abbas, the Palestinian Authority leader, said, "we would like to welcome Secretary Clinton."

"Blinken," someone corrected him.

"Sorry, Blinken," the 86-year-old Islamic terrorist leader said.

Secretary of State Blinken had to travel thousands of miles away to find a leader even more unpopular and out of it than the one he had left behind at the White House.

That was last year. This year, Abbas got Blinken’s name right and not much else.

After 17 years (and just one election), Abbas has seen a lot of secretaries of state come and go to get their pictures taken with him and then send him a few hundred million dollars.

Last year, Abbas told Blinken that he had "postponed the elections" because of Israel and that the moment he gets his paws on Jerusalem, "we will hold them immediately and without any delay, because ultimately what we’re interested in is to establish democracy throughout Palestine." This year they can’t be held either because Abbas still doesn’t have Jerusalem.

The last Palestinian Authority presidential election was in 2005. Abbas won. The last parliamentary election was in 2006. Hamas won. The presidential and parliamentary elections have been postponed since then but are expected to resume any time now. If not, blame Israel.

Since elections won't be happening anytime soon, a recent poll reveals that 73% of the "Palestinians" occupying the West Bank and Gaza want Abbas to resign.

If elections were somehow held today the Hamas presidential candidate would win 54% of the vote while Abbas would only get 38%. So you can see why there will be no elections.

61% want to tear up all agreements with Israel (since they haven't kept them, that would be a technicality), 70% don’t want to negotiate with Israel, and 64% don’t even want to negotiate with Biden. 58% oppose the “two-state solution” that is the touchstone of the entire peace process.

73% believes that the Koran predicts that Israel will be destroyed, but only 32% believe it will happen in 2022.

Under these circumstances, the last thing the Biden administration wants is democracy for the quarreling foreign Jihadist tribes who invaded Israel over the last few centuries and were rebranded by the name of the European colonists known as the Philistines.

Blinken is fine with Abbas postponing the elections forever because otherwise the terror clans will do what they did the last time that Bush naively allowed elections and vote for Hamas.

And that would be inconvenient because Hamas won’t pretend that they aren’t terrorists.

Four Israelis were murdered last week by a Muslim terrorist attack at a mall in Beersheba.

Despite the terrorist's ISIS membership, a Hamas spokesman praised "the executor of the heroic operation" and promised more "heroic operations: stabbings, ramming and shooting” like the car and stabbing spree that killed a Rabbi who ran a soup kitchen and two mothers of three children. So much for the claim that Hamas will inhibit the rise of the “extremists” of ISIS.

Palestinian Authority media also hailed Mohammad Ghaleb Abu al-Qi’an, the ISIS terrorist shot and killed by an Israeli bus driver who chased him down on foot, as a "martyr". If the PA follows its usual “Pay to Slay” policy in this case, it won’t just be financially supporting the usual stable of PLO, Hamas, and Islamic Jihad families, but also an ISIS terrorist’s family.

And that will mean American taxpayers will end up subsidizing ISIS terrorism in Israel as the Biden administration explores ways to bypass the Taylor Force Act’s ban on terror funding.

At a joint press conference with Prime Minister Bennett, Blinken gave a speech mostly blaming Israel for future violence during Passover and Ramadan. That speech was followed by another ISIS attack in which two heavily armed terrorists opened fire on a bus. The Islamic terrorists were taken down by cops who had been eating nearby, but not before they killed two people.

Hamas celebrated the "valor and courage" of the ISIS terrorists as did Islamic Jihad.

Hezbollah, backed by Iran, praised the ISIS attack as an “important and most effective practical response to the infamous and treacherous normalization meetings that some Arab regimes are carrying out with the enemy entity” referring to the anti-Iran summit in Israel with the foreign ministers of Bahrain, UAE, Morocco and Egypt. Iran's pro-IRGC outlet praised it as a “martyrdom operation”. When it comes to Israel, Iran and ISIS are on the same side. Much as Al Qaeda and Iran were on the same side when it came to the terrorist attacks of September 11.

Blinken meanwhile used the visit to pitch Israelis on a Biden plan to remove the IRGC, Iran’s terror hub, from the list of foreign terrorist organizations, claiming it would be “symbolic”.

He failed to condemn the terrorist attack as an ISIS attack, calling it “senseless” violence.

At his joint press conference with Abbas, Blinken also failed to condemn terrorism or to note that ISIS, with the tacit support of his PLO hosts in Ramallah and of Hamas in Gaza was planting its flag in Israel. Instead Blinken once again condemned Jewish Israeli “settler violence”.

Like Undersecretary of State Victoria Nuland's previous visit, the formula of Biden administration officials condemning Israeli "settler violence" while promising to "strenghten" the terrorists of the Palestinian Authority is as familiar as it is evil. The Palestinian Authority is an unwanted institution whose leader 73% of the people the dictator rules over want to see out of office.

And 49% want to dissolve the Palestinian Authority.

Considering the decades of failure, misery, and terrorism wrought by the failed Clinton initiative to create a Palestinian state, it’s long past time for everyone to turn the book on this disaster.

Neither Arab Muslims nor Israelis want Abbas or the Palestinian Authority. Only diplomats like Blinken and Nuland insist on keeping the senile tyrant of Ramallah in office until he dies.

In a final statistic, the poll asked who was "most deserving of representing and leading the Palestinian people". 31% picked Hamas, 29% chose Abbas' Palestinian Authority, and 33% chose none of the above. 84% believe the PA is corrupt and 70% believe Hamas is dirty.

The “Palestinian people” have spoken. Will Biden listen to them?

The root source of the corruption comes from the hundreds of millions of dollars that Blinken came bearing last year for the regime of a corrupt senile autocrat who didn’t even know whom he was talking to. There’s more money coming this year to prop up the terrorist regime.

All in the name of a peace which doesn’t exist and that the majority of “Palestinians” don’t want.

The United States has gone from using its foreign aid to the Palestinian Authority to prop up PLO, Islamic Jihad and Hamas terrorism against Israel, to subsidizing ISIS terrorism.

Will ISIS be a final red line for the corrupt farce of a two-state solution and a peace process?

Palestinians in multiple cities came out in droves to celebrate a shooting attack by a terrorist in a Tel Aviv suburb on Tuesday evening that killed five people.

The terrorist, identified as Diaa Hamarsheh, 26, a Palestinian from near the West Bank city of Jenin, smuggled into Israel illegally and began a shooting spree with an M16 assault rifle in the ultra-Orthodox city of Bnei Brak in central Israel, as Breitbart News reported.

Palestinians celebrated outside Hamarsheh’s family home and in other Palestinian cities later that evening.

Dozens of pictures and videos emerged of Palestinians all over the West Bank and Gaza handing out sweets as per the tradition in the aftermath of a deadly attack against Israelis.

One of the victims, Avishai Yehezkel, 29, was shielding his two-year-old son when the Palestinian terrorist sprayed bullets at him. His son remained in the street after his father was murdered. Apart from the toddler, Yehezkel was survived by his wife, who is eight months pregnant.

The Ukrainian Embassy in Israel issued a statement condemning the “heinous” attack and confirming that two Ukrainian nationals, Victor Sorokopot, 38, and Dimitri Mitrik, 23, were among the dead.

Palestinians on social media also hailed their deaths, calling them “settlers” even though the two were not Israeli citizens.

The other two victims were Amir Khoury, 32, an Arab Christian police officer who was one of two officers who killed the terrorist, and Yaakov Shalom, 36, the son of a prominent rabbi who died last year from COVID. Shalom was shot at point blank range from inside his car.

He was survived by his mother, wife and four children.

Israel Police Commissioner Kobi Shabtai expressed his condolences to Khoury’s father, Jarris.

“Alongside the tragedy, it is important for me to tell you that your son saved the lives of many civilians,” Shabtai said according to the Times of Israel. “His actions will become a legacy and memory of heroism for the whole country.”

The shooting was the third terror attack within a week, claiming the lives of eleven people.

“Israel is facing a wave of murderous Arab terrorism,” Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett said late Tuesday. “The security forces are at work. We will fight terrorism with persistence, diligence and an iron fist.”

Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh said he personally welcomes the attack.

“We are proud of the Palestinian people and the free people of the nation in the face of the heroic attack that struck all of Israel,” he said, adding that the terrorists who carried out the recent attacks were “heroes.”

Florida Islamic Jihad in Israel

Convicted Palestinian Islamic Jihad member Hatem Fariz back in the Holy Land… again.

Joe Kaufman is a Shillman Journalism Fellow at the David Horowitz Freedom Center and the Chairman of the Joe Kaufman Security Initiative. He was the 2014, 2016 and 2018 Republican Nominee for U.S. House of Representatives (Florida-CD23).

Hatem Fariz, a convicted member of Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) who runs a Tampa, Florida-based PIJ-linked mosque, was traveling around Israel this month. He had just been there in November. Of course, this is troubling. A member of one of the most brutal terrorist organizations in the world, which regularly targets Israelis with death, is taking trips to the Jewish state. Two simple questions come to mind: 1. Why is Fariz being allowed in? and 2. What are his intentions? This article will attempt to answer both.

On the morning of February 20, 2003, University of South Florida (USF) professor Sami Amin al-Arian, Hatem Naji Fariz, Sameeh Taha Hammoudeh, and Ghassan Zayed Ballut were arrested and charged by the FBI with racketeering, conspiracy to kill and maim persons abroad, and conspiracy to provide material support and resources to terrorists, amongst other things. A long, drawn-out trial ensued, the end of which resulted in guilty pleas from both al-Arian and Fariz. Al-Arian was deported to Turkey, where he is today, and Fariz served out a 37-month prison sentence.

Soon after his incarceration, Fariz became the Managing Director of the Islamic Community of Tampa (ICT), a.k.a. Masjid Al-Qassam. The mosque had been founded by al-Arian, in 1985, and was named for Izz ad-Din al-Qassam, a Palestinian religious and jihadist icon and a main inspiration for PIJ.

On March 11th, Fariz showed up in Jerusalem, filming inside and outside Al-Aqsa Mosque. It was less than four months since he had been there last. This time, he visited the Golan Heights, including the far north of the Golan, Mount Hermon (Mount El-Sheikh), videotaping the drive and taking what appears to be surveillance-type video of the mountainous terrain. He, too, went into Lebanon and passed through Jordan, on his way to Saudi Arabia for umrah pilgrimage to Mecca.

On March 19th, Fariz met with three individuals for drinks, at the Lazaward restaurant in Ramallah. He called it “the best evening with my dear ones.” One of these “dear ones” was Hindi Issam. In July 2014, Issam posted a graphic on his social media depicting five interlocking hands, each hand bearing the logo of a different Palestinian terrorist organization, including PIJ, Hamas and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), all surrounding a map of the state of Israel draped in a Palestinian flag. The post contained a message written by Issam about the benefit of remaining unified, an ominous gesture of violence toward Israel.

Attending the meeting, as well, was Louisiana resident Abo Rajaie. In May 2021, Rajaie posted video footage of Israeli soldiers being blown up by an IED, following an ambush, with a note from Rajaie, stating “Allah, grant victory to your religion, and let us cut out their throats.” In July 2014, he put up footage of a destroyed Israeli home, celebrating that it “was hit directly by a missile by the Palestinian resistance in the ‘Yehud’ [Jewish] area of Tel Aviv.” Also in July 2014, Rajaie wrote of the Palestinian terrorist collective, stating “Glory Gaza, O Allah, reward them… and grant them a speedy victory over the Jews and their agents from the Arabs and the West.”

During his previous trip to Israel, Fariz spent time with a number of other pro-Palestinian terror radicals. One was Farhan Diab, who mourned the death of former Secretary-General of PIJ and ex-colleague of Fariz, Ramadan Shallah. Another was Mohamad Zaglol, who wrote of his “honor of meeting” senior West Bank PIJ leader and spokesman Khader Adnan. Another was Fariz’ brother Hazem, who referred to masked PIJ militants as “Gaza heroes.” And yet another was Magdi Ibrahim, who wrote on Facebook, “Allah, take revenge on the Jews.” All four come from Fariz’ former hometowns, Clifton, New Jersey and Chicago, Illinois.

Fariz is the group leader of a travel agency linked to his mosque, the Adam Travel Tampa Hajj Group. While Israel is known for being thorough, when it comes to understanding the backgrounds of those wishing to enter the country – Israel regularly turns away those for far less infractions than being a convicted member of a terrorist organization which routinely targets her civilians – apparently, Fariz has been using his tour company as cover to roam around Israel and the Middle East unhindered. And as demonstrated by this author, it looks as if he is taking his like-minded friends and family with him.

Part of these excursions have been to visit PIJ landmarks. During a February 2020 trip to Israel, Fariz visited the shrine of Izz ad-Din al-Qassam and sat by the gravesite of Fariz’s deceased alleged PIJ co-conspirator, Sameeh Hammoudeh. These took place respectively two and three days after PIJ reportedly attacked Israel with over 100 rockets, and they are evidence of malicious intent on the part of Fariz, who is obviously still beholden to and actively pursuing his PIJ past.

Given his history and given his recent movements proving his continued attachment to PIJ, Fariz and his associates’ travel to Israel is clearly a threat to the Jewish state and her citizens. Fariz and individuals and groups connected to him should be banned from entering Israel and arrested and interrogated for any future attempts to do so. No one linked to Islamic Jihad or holding the extreme views that Fariz’ friends and family harbor toward Israelis and Jews should come close to stepping on Israeli soil. Israel must make sure that these trips never take place again. Failure to do so is nothing short of criminal negligence.

Saudi Arabia raised its oil prices in markets across the world on Monday, in some cases to all-time highs, as many customers remain reluctant to buy deeply discounted oil from heavily-sanctioned Russia.

The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) is due to meet on Thursday to discuss production for May when analysts expect more price hikes could occur.

Barron’s found OPEC ministers cautiously watching the progress of peace talks between Russia and Ukraine, which began with an awkward handshake-free “cold welcome” in Istanbul on Tuesday, but also featured some talk from Russia about scaling back hostilities.

According to Barron’s, guarded optimism about the peace talks was offset by the coronavirus lockdown China imposed on Shanghai this week and by the possibility that more oil could be released from the U.S. Strategic Petroleum Reserve to keep American pump prices from rising further. The coronavirus situation in China is complicating global shipping and depressing oil demand from China.

Oilprice.com on Monday argued the Russian invasion has “simultaneously both eased and complicated the task of Middle Eastern national oil companies” because pushing Russian oil off the market with sanctions gave the Saudis and other OPEC producers a golden opportunity to raise prices, but those price increases “could antagonize even further all the Asian buyers that keep on fretting about unprecedentedly high prices.”

The problem for OPEC is that beyond a certain price point, those antagonized Asian buyers might decide the risk of continuing to do business with Russia is worth the cost savings. The possibility of Iran re-entering the market in a big way after reviving its nuclear deal with the Biden administration is also a factor in price calculations.

Bloomberg News predicted on Tuesday one more record price hike from Saudi Arabia.

“Traders in Asia are closely monitoring the virus situation in China, which could become a more potent risk to oil demand. While it would depend on how long lockdowns will remain in place, some consultants including Energy Aspects Ltd. have already cut estimates for Chinese crude consumption,” Bloomberg noted.

The Saudis have also been loudly warning the Western world that continued terror attacks from the Iran-backed Houthi insurgents of Yemen are jeopardizing “our ability to supply the world with the necessary energy requirements,” as Saudi Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman put it on Tuesday.

“It goes without saying that if this security supply is impacted, it will impact us… but more fundamentally, I think it also will affect the world economy,” he said.

Prince Abdulaziz complained that the “pillars” of security once provided by Saudi Arabia’s Western allies are “no longer there,” so the Saudis and OPEC partners like the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are considering different security arrangements.

Global Oil Giant Saudi Aramco Says Annual Profit Doubled in 2021

Aramco, also known as the Saudi Arabian Oil Co., announced Sunday its net profit doubled last year as global growth turned the corner from the coronavirus downturn.

Regarded as the crown jewel of Saudi Arabia’s oil-dependent economy, its success comes as one of the world’s largest producers of gas and one of the biggest oil producers, Russia, is grappling with mounting Western sanctions.

Renewed anxieties about global supply shortages, soaring oil prices and a recovery in fuel demand from the pandemic are predicted to combine in coming months to help drive prices upwards again.

“Our strong results are a testament to our financial discipline, flexibility through evolving market conditions and steadfast focus on our long-term growth strategy,” Aramco president and CEO Amin Nasser said, acknowledging also that “economic conditions have improved considerably.”

AFP reports Nasser cautioned the company’s outlook remained uncertain due in part to “geopolitical factors” and, in an allusion to the effect of the recent price spikes on consumers, also noted that “energy security is paramount for billions of people.”

“We (therefore) continue to make progress on increasing our crude oil production capacity, executing our gas expansion program and increasing our liquids to chemicals capacity,” Nasser added.

Oil-rich Gulf countries, including Saudi Arabia, have so far resisted pressure from Western allies to raise oil output to rein in prices hit by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, stressing their commitment to the OPEC+ alliance of oil producers, which Riyadh and Moscow lead.

Saudi Aramco’s statement said capital expenditure in 2021 was up 18 percent on 2020 at $31.9 billion, a figure it expects to rise to approximately $40-50 billion this year, before further growth.

The international oil benchmark Brent crude hovered over $107 on Sunday after nearly touching a peak of $140 earlier this month, AP reports.

The perilous ramifications of the September 11 attacks on the United States are only now beginning to unfold. They will undoubtedly be felt for generations to come. This is one of many sad conclusions readers will draw from Craig Unger's exceptional book House of Bush House of Saud: The Secret Relationship Between the World's Two Most Powerful Dynasties. As Unger claims in this incisive study, the seeds for the "Age of Terrorism" and September 11 were planted nearly 30 years ago in what, at the time, appeared to be savvy business transactions that subsequently translated into political currency and the union between the Saudi royal family and the extended political family of George H. W. Bush.

The Case Against George W. Bush Hardcover – November 10, 2020

by Steven C. Markoff (Author), Richard A. Clarke (Introduction)

chronicles the presidency of George W. Bush through almost 600 quotes from over ninety authors, including former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, former President George W. Bush, former Vice President Dick Cheney, former Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld, and writers and journalists such as Steve Coll, Frank Rich, Craig Unger, and Bob Woodward. Steven C. Markoff presents sourced evidence of three crimes committed by George W. Bush during his presidency: his failure to take warnings of coming terror attacks on our country seriously; taking the United States, by deception, into an unnecessary and disastrous 2003 war with Iraq; costing the lives of more than 4,000 Americans and 500,000 others; and breaking domestic and international laws by approving the torture as means to extract information. While Markoff lays out his case of the crimes, he leaves it up to the reader to decide the probable guilt of George W. Bush and his actions regarding the alleged crimes.

Days after his death, reverent tributes continue to pour in for former president George HW Bush, celebrating his adroit handling of the end of the cold war and his victorious leadership in the 1991 Gulf war, all leavened with nostalgia for a bygone era in which an American leader could stand astride the world stage without causing the entire planet to titter in nervous laughter.

Refined, gracious and genteel, Bush, in many ways, was the polar opposite of the current resident of the White House. Nevertheless, his decorous manner often concealed objectives that were far darker than the “kinder, gentler” vision he promoted.

As head of the CIA under Gerald Ford, and later as vice-president, Bush was a consummate pragmatist capable of rapidly changing political positions as expediency demanded. Highly disciplined, he mastered the arts of compartmentalization and secrecy. Nobody in government was better at keeping secrets. With his posh pedigree and Ivy League credentials, Bush had the perfect résumé to be a spy, and an effective mask with which to disguise his real agendas.

As Murray Waas and I wrote in the New Yorker, that was precisely the case in the summer of 1986, when Bush received a call from William J Casey, the gruff, perpetually disheveled spymaster who succeeded Bush as CIA director. Casey wanted Bush, then vice-president under Ronald Reagan, to run a covert operation that was part of what became known as the Iran-Contra and Iraqgate scandals.

Obstinate Iranian leaders had declined Casey’s secret offer to exchange arms for hostages who were being held in Beirut by terrorists tied to Tehran. Casey decided he had to force Iran’s hand. In August, Vice-President Bush was scheduled to visit the Middle East to “advance the peace process”, as the New York Times reported.

Bush’s true objectives were exactly the opposite of his stated goals. He was there to escalate the war between Iran and Iraq. Specifically, he had been tasked with delivering strategic military intelligence to Saddam Hussein, so that Iraq would intensify its bombing inside Iran. After a series of brutal air attacks, Bush and Casey reasoned, Iran would be forced to turn to the US for missiles and other weapons of air defense.

And they were right. Forty-eight hours after Bush executed his mission, Iraqis launched hundreds of strikes targeting oil facilities deep into Iran. Within a few weeks, Iran was back at the negotiating table. But that wasn’t the end of it. Every time hostages were released, new ones were seized.

As for the Iraqi side of ledger, Bush and Casey were far less wary of Saddam than one might expect. “He and Casey both had great naiveté, thinking you could be friends with Saddam Hussein,” said Howard Teicher, who served on Reagan’s National Security Council.

When Bush became president in 1989, his administration blithely ignored Saddam’s military buildup and human rights violations and proceeded to send funding, intelligence and hi-tech exports, some of which could potentially be used in Iraq’s nuclear weapons program. All of which left Saddam emboldened – and that paved the way for the Gulf war of 1991.

A key factor in Bush’s Middle East policies was his friendship with Prince Bandar, the Saudi ambassador to the US. The two men were so close that Bandar was known to pop in unexpectedly at Bush’s summer retreat in Kennebunkport, Maine. They went on hunting trips together. Later, when Bush was out of the White House, he even tasked Bandar with teaching his eldest son – George W, then a presidential aspirant with no experience in international affairs – all about foreign policy.

After his presidency was over, Bush and a number of his former cabinet officers also began participating in the Carlyle Group, a giant private equity firm heavily funded by Saudi billionaires – including the Saudi family of Osama bin Laden. As I reported in House of Bush, House of Saud, in the end, nearly $1.5bn made its way from the Saudis to individuals and institutions tied to the extended family of Bush cabinet officials and associates.

Such ties were particularly noteworthy because of the House of Saud’s alliance with strident and puritanical Wahhabi fundamentalists, many of whom supported a violent jihad against the west. All of which raised disturbing questions after terrorists murdered nearly 3,000 people on 11 September 2001 in attacks orchestrated by Bin Laden.

George HW Bush was long out of office and his son had become president. In the immediate aftermath of the terrorist attacks, when US air traffic was all but shut down, how is it that the White House approved the departure of more than 140 mostly Saudi passengers, many of whom were kin to Osama bin Laden? Why did Saudi Arabia – birthplace of 15 out of 19 hijackers – get preferential treatment from George W Bush’s White House at a time when Arab-Americans all over the country were being apprehended and interrogated? Had the Bushes’ close ties to the Saudis led them to look the other way – even after the worst terrorist attack in American history?

Seventeen years later, of course, a very different White House has turned a blind eye to a very different but equally horrifying Saudi atrocity – namely, the murder and dismemberment of Washington Post columnist Jamal Khashoggi after he was lured to the Saudi consulate in Istanbul.

In response, Trump, predictably, could not have more deeply insulted the intelligence services Bush once led. Just a few days after the CIA determined that Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman had approved the murder, Trump baldly defied CIA analysts and sided with the Saudis, asserting that Khashoggi’s murder might never be solved.

“We may never know all of the facts surrounding the murder of Mr Jamal Khashoggi,” he said. “In any case, our relationship is with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.”

With his understated style and his understanding of the diplomatic niceties, George HW Bush, of course, would have handled it very differently. But let us not forget that America’s mercenary relationships with brutal foreign powers began long before Donald Trump.

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman has said his human rights were violated by claims he ordered the murder journalist Jamal Khashoggi as he reveals his love for Game of Thrones in an extraordinary interview from his family's Covid 'bunker'.

Khashoggi, a former member of the Saudi royal family turned dissident, was killed in the Saudi consulate in Istanbul in 2018 before being dismembered and disintegrated.

His murder sparked international outrage that continues to reverberate, with Western intelligence agencies accusing the kingdom's de-facto ruler, 36, of authorising the killing - tarnishing his reformist image.

However, the crown prince defended himself today, claiming it was 'obvious' that he had not ordered the killing and the allegations had 'hurt' him a great deal.

In an interview with The Atlantic, given from his Covid 'bunker' palace close to the Red Sea, he said: 'It hurt me and it hurt Saudi Arabia, from a feelings perspective.

'I understand the anger, especially among journalists. I respect their feelings. But we also have feelings here, pain here.'

He continued: 'I feel that human-rights law wasn’t applied to me. Article XI of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights states that any person is innocent until proven guilty.

MbS also defended himself by saying the journalist was not important enough for him to want to kill.

He added that he had 'never read a Khashoggi in his life', before stating that the journalist would not be among his top 1,000 targets to kill 'if that was how we did things'.

'Khashoggi would not even be among the top 1,000 people on the list. If you’re going to go for another operation like that, for another person, it’s got to be professional and it’s got to be one of the top 1,000', he said.

He said that the killing was a 'huge mistake' and hoped no more hit squads would be found.

MbS also told two close aides that the murder the 'worst thing ever to happen to me, because it could have ruined all of my plans' to reform the country.

Following the allegations, MbS says he now wants to return the focus to social and economic reforms that he has pushed through to open up Saudi Arabia and diversify its oil-dependent economy. The plans do not appear to include wide political reform.

The crown prince also gave an insight into his personal life during the interview, revealing how he tries to limit his Twitter usage and eats breakfast every day with his children.

Discussing what he does for enjoyment, MBS said he watches television, but avoids shows that remind him of work such as House of Cards.

However, he did admit to a love for Game of Thrones as it helps him to escape the reality of his job.

MbS went onto discuss how he did not care whether US President Jo Biden misunderstood things about him, adding that he should be focusing on America's interests.

Prince Mohammed enjoyed close relations with Biden's predecessor Donald Trump.

But since Biden took office in January 2021, the long-standing strategic partnership between Saudi Arabia, the world's top oil exporter, and the US has come under strain over Riyadh's human rights record, especially with respect to the Yemen war and the Khashoggi murder.

And asked whether Saudi Arabia rule could transform into a constitutional monarchy, said no, before adding that the country is 'based on pure monarchy'.

Sunni-Shi’a Jihad Comes to the University of Connecticut

The wave of the future.

Tue Mar 1, 2022

Robert Spencer

While all eyes are fixed on Ukraine and wondering if Dementia Joe is going to back our woke, distracted military into World War III, a telling incident at the University of Connecticut demonstrated a feature of our glorious multicultural mosaic that has not often been seen in America before: the jihad between Sunni and Shi’ite Muslims.

UConn’s Daily Campus reported that on Monday, February 7, the university “distributed turbahs for Shia Muslim students to use at the Islamic Center of the University of Connecticut and the wellness and meditation space in Homer Babbidge Library, the two main prayer areas on campus for Muslim students.” Turbahs are pieces of dirt or clay from the sacred ground of Karbala that Shi’ite touch to their foreheads during the prostrations of Islamic prayer. These turbahs “were donations to the university and came directly from Iraq.” But “the next day, the Ahlul Bayt Student Association at UConn, an organization for Shia Muslim students, found out the turbahs distributed to ICUC had been vandalized and thrown out.”

For all we are told about the prevalence of “Islamophobia,” some might have assumed that “Islamophobes” disposed of the turbahs, but no, the culprits were actually Sunni Muslims. To make matters even worse, the paper also noted that “this is not the first anti-Shia incident to occur at UConn; according to members of the Ahlul Bayt Student Association, an organization for Shia Muslims at UConn, anti-Shia rhetoric has occurred for years. ABSA claims that ICUC has not been a welcoming environment for Shia Muslim students, with ICUC keeping anti-Shia books inside the mosque, and requiring approval for the placement of worshipping items such as turbahs in the space of worship.”

Meanwhile, according to the Daily Campus, the Sunni Muslim Students Association condemned the vandalism and claimed that it had nothing to do with the incident, but dodged a meeting with the Shi’a to discuss concerns, and the Shi’a, claim that the MSA’s apology was “neither direct nor official.” In response to the incident, the Muslim Student Association “released a statement condemning the vandalism, claiming that the ICUC executive board had no connection to the attackers. The MSA claimed the e-Board lacked any knowledge that turbahs would be placed in the mosque and reiterated that the placement of any religious items in the mosque requires ICUC approval.” Yet the MSA was less than cooperative and conciliatory: “While MSA claims ICUC apologized to ABSA for the incident and offered to pay for turbahs and discuss concerns, ABSA claims they could not schedule a meeting and that an apology from ICUC was neither direct nor official.”

The Daily Campus added that “given the anti-Shia Muslim hate and the divide between Sunni Muslims and Shia Muslims, more events and educational opportunities should be made available to students to eliminate misconceptions regarding the Shia sect.” The Shi’ites were likewise unhappy about the response it got from the university about this incident: “Furthermore, this incident occurred on Feb. 8 and the UConn administration has yet to publicly condemn and oppose this hate. The UConn administration should address this incident, make it clear that such hate is unwelcome at the university and spare no resources investigating those responsible.”

We have heard this kind of thing before, in a slightly different but related context. The Shi’a demand for “more events and educational opportunities” for students, so as “to eliminate misconceptions regarding the Shia sect,” mirrors the longstanding and widespread claim that “Islamophobia” can be stamped out by seminars and outreach events that “eliminate misconceptions.”

Such efforts never actually stamp out “Islamophobia” understood as suspicion or distrust of Islam except among the credulous and ill-informed, because the suspicion and distrust of many people regarding Islam is not based on “misconceptions” at all, but on an actual awareness of Islamic texts and teachings. Likewise the Shi’ites at the University of Connecticut will realize eventually, if they don’t actually know already, that the Sunni hatred for them stems not from “misconceptions,” but on Sunni teachings regarding Shi’a Islam as a heretical, twisted form of Islam. No educational efforts will undo that conviction.

The Sunni-Shi’ite relationship has been characterized by 1,400 years of violence. We can be grateful that the UConn controversy didn’t involve any violence. But the smart money would be on that violence coming here eventually.

Western academics routinely present Islam as an enlightened force for progress unfortunately stymied by Western bigotry and aggression. Where did this image come from and how did it become ensconced in universities? What truths and falsehoods does it contain? What implications does it have?

Raymond Ibrahim, a Shillman Fellow at the David Horowitz Freedom Center, was recently featured in a webinar hosted by the Middle East Forum, where he is the Judith Friedman Rosen Fellow. Ibrahim addressed these questions and more in a must-see video from the Middle East Forum. Check it out below:

Egypt: No Justice For—and No Justices Are—Christian Women

Shameless and open discrimination for the world to see.

Raymond Ibrahim is a Shillman Fellow at the David Horowitz Freedom Center.  This article is reprinted from Coptic Solidarity.

Her crime?  Her son was falsely accused of having a romantic relationship with a Muslim woman, which is banned under Islamic law, or sharia—the same body of teachings that prescribe the collective punishment of non-Muslim “infidels.”

Earlier that day Thabet and her husband had gone to local police and complained that they were being harassed and threatened by neighborhood Muslims. Police responded by also threatening and ordering them out of the station. A few hours later, the attack came. It took the same local police over two hours to appear, giving the mob “ample time,” as one Christian clergyman put it, to riot. Seven Christian homes were also burned.

Nearly six years later and still no justice for So‘ad Thabet, even though her abusers are well known.  “The case had been postponed several times and was closed in 2017 due to insufficient evidence,” states an Arabic language report. “However, the woman’s legal representatives filed a grievance reopening it again.  Then, in March 2019, the Minya felony court decided to withdraw from hearing the case due to embarrassment.”   After that, in October 2019, the case was postponed again, because a court member was reportedly absent.  Nearly a year after that, in September 2020, the court simply recused itself.  And now, according to the most recent reporting (Jan. 18, 2022), “Egypt’s courts still have made no efforts to pursue justice in the five and a half-year-old case.”

Such is Egyptian “justice.”  Meanwhile, the humiliated, elderly woman resides outside her village for fear of “reprisals,” even as her tormentors, who are all known by name and face, still live and walk around there, freely and proudly.

Commenting on this delay, Adel Guindy, founding president of Coptic Solidarity and author of A Sword Over the Nile, which outlines the persecution Egypt’s Christians experienced over the course of fourteen centuries, said,

The judiciary system in Egypt, as well as the rest of the pillars of the state (often referred to as the “deep state”) have become impregnated with fundamentalist Islamic ideology, and are thus decidedly biased against Copts. The political leadership of the country takes no concrete corrective measures and, worse still, lets this ideology shape and dominate the society, through education and media.

The ongoing stalling of this relatively clear-cut case makes clear that Egypt’s Christian minorities are not just suffering from Islamists and criminals but from the entire system, a system which allows much impunity for those who would target Christians.  After all, a justice that moves as slowly as a turtle—constantly recusing and delaying—is just another form of injustice.

In the end, Thabet’s problem is that she is both a woman and a Christian—two characteristics that make her something of a nonentity in Islamic, uber-patriarchal Egypt.  This fact was even more recently underscored: although Egypt’s most indigenous population, the Christian Copts, amount for at least 10 percent of the nation’s population, on Mar. 3, 2022, 98 female justices were, in an unprecedented and progressive move, appointed in Egypt—and yet not one of them was a Christian, all Muslims.

This would seem to suggest that being Christian is even worse than being a woman in Egypt—and that’s certainly saying something.

OE BIDEN'S FIRST AGENDA, IN CONERT WITH THE GOP, U.S. CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND NARCOMEX, IS TO EXPAND THE MEXICAN SERF CLASS. TAKE A LOOK AT MEXIFORNIA; THE STATE WITH THE LARGEST NUMBER OF ILLEGALS, THE BIGGEST MEX WELFARE CLASS IN THE WORLD AND THE LARGEST NIMBER OF THOSE LIVING IN POVERTY AND HOMELESS.

The U.S. could be turned into a Third World country, that is, if there is room for a United States in Biden’s new world order at all. Biden’s handlers have effectively erased the Southern border and as a result, illegals are streaming in at a rapid clip. Even the New York Times admitted last October that “migrants were encountered 1.7 million times in the last 12 months, the highest number of illegal crossings recorded since at least 1960.”

Biden Promises Us a 'New World Order’

What could possibly go wrong?

How often do we need new world orders? As often as oil changes? Speaking on Monday at Business Roundtable’s CEO Quarterly Meeting in Washington, Old Joe Biden said portentously: “And now is a time when things are shifting. We’re going to — there’s going to be a new world order out there, and we’ve got to lead it. And we’ve got to unite the rest of the free world in doing it.” It has been just thirty years since George H. W. Bush promised a new world order, and apparently, that one is already gotten stale. So Old Joe is going to bring us a still newer one, and once again the question must be asked: what could possibly go wrong?

Bush said in his State of the Union address on Jan. 29, 1991, that “we stand at a defining hour”; apparent “things” were “shifting” back then, too. This was during the Gulf War, in which the U.S. invaded Iraq after Iraq annexed Kuwait. Bush explained, however, that “what is at stake is more than one small country, it is a big idea: a new world order, where diverse nations are drawn together in common cause to achieve the universal aspirations of mankind: peace and security, freedom, and the rule of law. Such is a world worthy of our struggle, and worthy of our children’s future.”

Apparently, it was Putin’s invasion of Ukraine that made Old Joe and his henchmen think that Bush’s new world order was worn out and that we needed a still newer one, or at least the war in Ukraine has become the occasion for Biden and others to speak more openly about what they hope to do. The fact that Biden’s handlers have been working toward a radical restructuring of society has been obvious from the beginning of this dumpster fire presidency, and as a result, we can have a more or less clear idea of what they want Biden’s new world order to look like.

In the first place, it will involve no fossil fuels. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) chief Michael Regan confirmed two weeks ago, when he spoke at the White House along with so-called Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg and alleged Vice President Kamala Harris, and announced “proposed limits on new buses and large trucks to curb some of their greenhouse gas emissions by up to 90% in the next decade.” Regan boasted, “We’re pressing the accelerator to reach a zero-emissions future sooner than most people thought.” The White House is attempting to use skyrocketing fuel prices, which they brought about by shutting down the Keystone Pipeline, placing a moratorium on oil leases on federal property (which was blocked in court but is apparently still followed in the Interior Department, as the number of drilling permits it has issued has dropped sharply), suspending some existing drilling leases, restricting fracking, placing onerous financial regulations on the oil industry, and more, to implement their green agenda, which could effectively make the United States a Third World country. New world order!

The U.S. could be turned into a Third World country, that is, if there is room for a United States in Biden’s new world order at all. Biden’s handlers have effectively erased the Southern border and as a result, illegals are streaming in at a rapid clip. Even the New York Times admitted last October that “migrants were encountered 1.7 million times in the last 12 months, the highest number of illegal crossings recorded since at least 1960.”

A new record could be set in 2022, as the UK’s Daily Mail reported last week that “more than 170,000 migrants are waiting on the Mexican-side of the U.S.-Mexico border to cross and claim asylum” once the Biden administration trashes, as it is expected to do, Title 42, a Trump-era provision that allowed illegal migrants to be expelled during the COVID-19 hysteria.

A country without borders is no country at all. Are Biden’s handlers impossibly stupid and unaware of this fact or fully aware of it and determinedly setting out to render the U.S. borderless? A borderless U.S. fits in well with Leftists’ commitment to their idols of “diversity” and “multiculturalism”; it may even be, in their twisted analysis, an attempt to ensure international peace by making every place pretty much like every other place (and all equally squalid, dirty, and dangerous), so that wars of conquest have no purpose.

It’s a silly and ultimately suicidal utopian vision, but what else makes sense of what Biden’s handlers are doing to border security? Once one sees it all as part of Joe’s new world order, it begins to make sense. In any case, one thing is certain: if Biden’s handlers succeed in implementing their ridiculous and dangerous vision, their new world order won’t even last as long as Poppy Bush’s.

Illegal Immigrant Population Increases More Than 1 Million in Last Year
Number fell 2019 to 2021, is now back to pre-pandemic level
Washington, D.C. (March 29, 2022) -An analysis by the Center for Immigration Studies of the government’s monthly “household survey” finds that the illegal immigrant population was 11.4 million in January of 2022 — a 1.1 million increase over January 2021 when President Biden took office and the on-going border surge began.  The Center’s preliminary population estimate for February 2022 is 11.5 million.  Analysis of the survey also shows that the total foreign-born population (legal and illegal together) hit a new record high of 46.7 million in February of this year.

DHS’s illegal population data is dated – the latest analysis estimated the numbers for 2018 - partly because they, and other researchers, rely on survey data that takes a long time to be released.  By using the monthly household survey, the Center has been able to produce up-to-date estimates that reflect current conditions.

“The number of illegal immigrants grew dramatically this past year as the result of Biden administration policies which released most of the people encountered at the border and stopped  most interior enforcement,” said Dr. Steven Camarota, the Center’s director of research and the report’s lead author.  He added, “Absent a change in policy it seems certain the illegal immigrant population will continue to grow rapidly.”
Among the findings:
  • We estimate that in January of 2022 there were 11.4 million illegal immigrants in the country — more than a 1 million increase over the 10.2 million in January of 2021.  Our preliminary estimate for February of this year is 11.5 million.
  • The 10.2 million in January 2021 represented a significant decline from the 11.5 million illegal immigrants we estimate for January of 2019.
  • Overall we find that the illegal population in January and February of 2022 is similar to the number in January 2019.
  • The statistical margin of error in our illegal immigrant estimates in 2022 is ± 270,000, assuming a 90 percent confidence level.  However, as with any estimate of illegal immigrants there is also non-statistical error in our numbers.
  • The monthly CPS also shows that the total foreign born population (legal and illegal together) grew to 46.7 million in February of 2022, a new record high in American history and an increase of 1.7 million since January of 2021.
  • Illegal immigrants account for more than one million or about two-thirds of the increase in the total foreign born since January of 2021.
  • To place the 1.7 million growth in the total foreign-born population (legal and illegal) in the last 13 months in perspective, in the 48 months of the Trump presidency (January of 2017 to December 2020) the total foreign born increased 1.5 million.
  • For the illegal immigrant population or the foreign-born population in general to grow, new arrivals must exceed emigration and deaths. Births to the foreign born, legal or illegal, in the U.S. do not add to the illegal immigrant population or the overall foreign-born — all children born in the U.S. are by definition native-born.

This analysis represents our first attempt to estimate the illegal immigrant population, also referred to as the unauthorized or undocumented, using the monthly Current Population Survey (CPS) or “household survey”. The estimated size and growth of the illegal immigrant population are important because, unlike border apprehension figures, the number of illegal immigrants living in the country is what ultimately determines their impact.
