Judge Strikes Down San Francisco Law Allowing Illegal Aliens to Vote

A San Francisco, California, law that allowed illegal aliens and other foreign nationals to vote in some local elections was struck down in court late last week.

On July 29, San Francisco Superior Court Judge Richard Ulmer overturned the city’s ordinance that was first passed in 2016, which allowed foreign nationals — including illegal aliens — to vote in citywide school board elections so long as they are the parent of a school-aged child and are not incarcerated or out on parole.

By 2018, as Breitbart News reported, the city had spent almost $400,000 to register a total of 61 foreign nationals to vote in the school board elections.

Ulmer, though, ruled that the ordinance is in violation of the California Constitution, which specifically states that “a United States citizen 18 years of age and resident in this state may vote.”

“In sum, San Francisco ordinance 206-21 is contrary to the California Constitution and state statutes and thus cannot stand,” Ulmer wrote,

The ruling is yet another blow to the open borders lobby, which has made noncitizen voting a fixture of their agenda to eliminate the privileges of American citizenship.

In June, the New York Supreme Court similarly struck down a New York City law that allowed foreign nationals to vote in citywide elections so long as they had lived in the city for at least 30 days. In that case, the court found that the state’s constitution is clear that voting “is a right granted to citizens of the United States.”

Secretary of Homeland Security (GAMER LAWYER) Alejandro Mayorkas

Mayorkas insists that our border is secure and there is no illegal immigration crisis. His greatest skill is that he seems to lie more effortlessly, more easily in front of the camera than any of the other cabinet members. He has probably done more damage to the country than any other cabinet member by his willingness to betray America’s fundamental, long-term interests by encouraging the administration’s intentional illegal immigration invasion.

Open Borders Activists Balk at Red States Busing Illegal Aliens to Blue States

Open borders activists are balking at red states taking immigration enforcement into their own hands by busing border crossers and illegal aliens to blue states and cities like New York and Washington, DC.

In April, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) announced that state officials would begin chartering buses to transport border crossers and illegal aliens to Washington, DC, and other cities.

As a result, Washington, DC, Mayor Muriel Bowser is asking President Joe Biden to deploy the National Guard after she said about 4,000 border crossers and illegal aliens have arrived in the region over the last few weeks.

Illegal immigration to D.C., Bowser said, is at a “tipping point.” Similarly, New York City Mayor Eric Adams has warned New Yorkers that illegal immigration to the city is likely to cripple the healthcare system and infrastructure as well as overwhelm schools and neighborhoods.

Now, mass migration activists argue that Abbott’s order may not be legal.

“There are ongoing questions about what authority they have to bus people from one location to another,” Aaron Reichlin-Melnick with the American Immigration Council told the Texas Tribune. “Legally speaking, is that immigration enforcement? I still don’t know.”

The number of border crossers and illegal aliens arriving in D.C. and New York City pales in comparison to those arriving in America’s small border communities.

In Texas border towns, alone, nearly 130,000 border crossers and illegal aliens were caught crossing the border in June. Most recently, in the small town of Normandy, Texas — with a population of just 29 residents — about 400 border crossers and illegal aliens crossed into the area this month.

EXCLUSIVE: 400 Migrants in One Group Cross into Texas Border Town

EAGLE PASS, Texas — In one group, nearly 400 migrants crossed the Rio Grande north of the city Thursday. The migrants crossed during the hottest part of the day as temperatures exceeded 100-degrees Fahrenheit. The group consisted of mostly single adult Cuban, Venezuelan, and Nicaraguan migrants.

The group walked nearly one mile from the riverbank after being guided across by cartel smugglers. They surrendered to Border Patrol agents and were sorted by nationality in preparation for transfer to a nearby processing facility.

Several members of the group were unable to make the walk due to the excessive heat and were moved to a Border Patrol rally point. Mixed into the group were family units with small children. Breitbart Texas spoke to some who said they recently arrived at the Mexican border city of Piedras Negras and had been traveling to the United States for longer than two months.

The migrants say they were part of a caravan in southern Mexico that walked from Tapachula, Chiapas, near the Guatemalan border until receiving travel documents from the National Institute of Migration in Mexico. The travel documents allow the migrants a 30-day window to legally travel through Mexico to the northern border.

Eagle Pass, part of the Del Rio Sector, has become the hotspot for migrant crossings and currently leads all other border cities in migrant apprehensions. In a Thursday press conference addressing border safety issues, Del Rio Chief Patrol Agent Jason Owens told reporters the sector has apprehended more than 340,000 since October. He also voiced concern about the additional 140,000 who have eluded apprehension during the same time frame.

Ironically, as Owens spoke to reporters, the large group of migrants was already fording the Rio Grande only miles away.

The influx of large migrant groups has become commonplace in Eagle Pass. The task of providing transportation, medical assistance, and processing is straining Border Patrol resources at the expense of standard law enforcement functions. One agent told Breitbart Texas that the constant flow of migrants has nearly destroyed personnel morale.

The human smuggling tactic of moving large groups of migrants across the border in a single crossing moved to the San Diego Sector this week. For only the second and third times this year, agents apprehended large groups of more than 100.

San Diego Sector Border Patrol officials reported that agents encountered a group of 123 crossing the border illegally in a single group near Imperial Beach. This is the first large group encounter since November when agents apprehended another group of 144 migrants.

Three days later, agents in the San Diego Sector encountered another large group of 101 who entered the U.S. illegally after human smugglers used a blow torch to cut drainage tube bars. The group crossed the border at about 1:45 a.m., officials noted.

San Diego Border Patrol officials report:

The two groups totaling 224 individuals were determined to be citizens of the following 13 countries:

•    Brazil (183)
•    Sierra Leon (4)
•    Peru (4)
•    Nepal (4)
•    Nicaragua (2)
•    Nigeria (2)
•    Haiti (2)
•    Gambia (1)
•    India (1)
•    Cuba (3)
•    Romanians (8)
•    Colombians (8)
•    Mexicans (2)

With 13 different countries consisting of mostly non-Spanish speaking migrants, San Diego Sector must resource out for translation support, which can strain the case-work process.

“I am proud of the effort our agents do daily in continuing to secure the Border, especially considering encounters at the border have been increasing for the past two years,” said San Diego Sector Chief Patrol Agent Aaron Heitke.

The two large groups totaled 224 migrants, officials stated. Agents transported the migrants to a nearby Border Patrol station for processing and medical evaluation. The agents reported the group consisted of 167 single adults and 57 family units.
