BIDEN CRONY MARK ZUCKERBERG SELF-DESTRUCTS
Senate GOP Gives Victory to Kamala Harris, Her Big Tech Donors with Green Card Giveaway…. WITH KAMALA, JUST FOLLOW HER LONG HISTORY OF BRIBES SUCKING!
The prospect of mass layoffs at Meta Platforms Inc. could ramp up the pressure on CEO Mark Zuckerberg to deliver on the metaverse hype.
Citing people familiar with the matter, the Wall Street Journal reports that Facebook parent Meta Platforms Inc. META, -1.41% is planning to start large-scale layoffs this week — the first major cuts in the company’s 18-year history. Meta declined to comment when contacted by MarketWatch.
The tech giant had 87,314 employees at the end of September, a year-over-year increase of 28%. Earlier this year, the Verge reported that Meta’s Reality Labs division, which includes the metaverse, had over 17,000 employees.
Layoffs, if they happen, could come at a critical time for the tech giant’s bold metaverse plan, which Zuckerberg has touted as the next era of social technology. According to Meta, the metaverse, by harnessing 3-D technology, will let users socialize, learn, collaborate and play.
Any layoffs will be closely scrutinized for their impact on Reality Labs, an area where Meta has been throwing its cash. If Reality Labs emerges relatively unscathed from layoffs, it will underline the company’s commitment to the metaverse — but will also increase the pressure to deliver on something that, at this stage, is more hype than reality.
Meta certainly appears to be prioritizing Reality Labs. The company spent $9.17 billion on research and development in the third quarter, up from $6.316 billion in the same period last year. The company said this was mainly driven by hiring within the Family of Apps and Reality Labs segments, as well as by development costs for Reality Labs technology. Reality Labs reported a third-quarter loss that widened to $3.672 billion from $2.631 billion in the same period last year.
But what if the metaverse strategy is completely misguided? “Mark Zuckerberg’s Metaverse bombs,” Mike Sington, a former senior executive at NBCUniversal, tweeted on Sunday.
Certainly, Wall Street has not been enamored with Meta’s recent performance as the tech giant nails its colors to the metaverse mast. Last month, Meta reported third-quarter earnings that sent the tech giant’s stock plummeting toward its largest weekly drop on record, losing more than 23% over the course of the week. The stock has fallen 71.8% this year and 44.2% over the last three months, outpacing the S&P 500 Index SPX, 0.31% declines of 20.6% and 8.6%, respectively, over the same periods.
The layoffs, if they materialize, would also come hot on the heels of major job cuts at Twitter, with the microblogging site slashing over half of its more than 7,500 employees last week. The Meta cuts would be smaller on a percentage basis than those announced at Twitter, according to the Wall Street Journal.
Speaking during the conference call to discuss the company’s recent third-quarter results, Zuckerberg said that in 2023, Meta will focus its investments on a small number of high-priority growth areas. “So that means some teams will grow meaningfully, but most other teams will stay flat or shrink over the next year,” he added. “In aggregate, we expect to end 2023 as either roughly the same size, or even a slightly smaller organization than we are today.”
While many people are still scratching their heads over Meta’s metaverse plan, there are big revenue opportunities in the broader virtual world, according to metaverse analyst firm DappRadar. Citing DappRadar research, the BBC reports that $1.93 billion in cryptocurrency has been spent buying virtual land in the metaverse over the past year. DappRadar told MarketWatch that the virtual lands are NFTs, or non-fungible tokens, and the expenditure over the past 12 months relates to “virtual land trading volume.”

Indian managers also duplicate the DHS’s H-1B visas to import additional, kickback-paying Indian workers, Aabha said:
They have been doing it openly and it’s all Indians, only Indians, because they are so desperate to move to the states. They’re so desperate to leave their country because they know they cannot work there. They know that they’re not going make so much money as they do here.
By failures of border security, a lack of the enforcement of our immigration laws from within the interior of the United States and huge numbers of visas for high tech workers, the lives and livelihoods of Americans and their children, are being stolen by America’s corrupt political elite who are doing the bidding of those who provide them with huge “Campaign Contributions” (Orwellian euphemism for bribes) pursue legislation that is diametrically opposed to the best interests of America and Americans.

Senate GOP Gives Victory to Kamala Harris, Her Big Tech Donors with Green Card Giveaway…. WITH KAMALA, JUST FOLLOW HER LONG HISTORY OF BRIBES SUCKING!
(Reuters)—Meta Platforms Inc is planning to begin large-scale layoffs this week that will affect thousands of employees, the Wall Street Journal reported on Sunday citing people familiar with the matter, with an announcement planned as early as Wednesday.
Meta declined to comment on the WSJ report.
Facebook parent Meta in October forecasted a weak holiday quarter and significantly more costs next year wiping about $67 billion off Meta's stock market value, adding to the more than half a trillion dollars in value already lost this year.
The disappointing outlook comes as Meta is contending with slowing global economic growth, competition from TikTok, privacy changes from Apple, concerns about massive spending on the metaverse and the ever-present threat of regulation.
Chief Executive Mark Zuckerberg has said he expects the metaverse investments to take about a decade to bear fruit. In the meantime, he has had to freeze hiring, shutter projects and reorganize teams to trim costs.
"In 2023, we're going to focus our investments on a small number of high priority growth areas. So that means some teams will grow meaningfully, but most other teams will stay flat or shrink over the next year. In aggregate, we expect to end 2023 as either roughly the same size, or even a slightly smaller organization than we are today" Zuckerberg said on the last earnings call in late October.
The social media company had in June cut plans to hire engineers by at least 30%, with Zuckerberg warning employees to brace for an economic downturn.
Meta's shareholder Altimeter Capital Management in an open letter to Mark Zuckerberg had previously said the company needs to streamline by cutting jobs and capital expenditure, adding that Meta has lost investor confidence as it ramped up spending and pivoted to the metaverse.
Several technology companies, including Microsoft Corp, Twitter Inc, and Snap Inc have cut jobs and scaled back hiring in recent months as global economic growth slows due to higher interest rates, rising inflation, and an energy crisis in Europe.

Elon Musk, Tech CEOs, Fire Liberal Americans, but Few Foreign Workers
Elon Musk and other Fortune 500 CEOs are firing thousands of U.S. tech employees — but are reportedly keeping thousands of cheap temporary workers who have been imported from India and China.
“There’s going to be [national origin] discrimination lawsuits against all these companies because they’re violating the civil rights of American professionals,” said Jay Palmer, an Alabama-based immigration and human trafficking expert. He added;
I’ve had 10 people contact me about a possible class action lawsuit … [because the CEOs] aren’t firing the H-1Bs. They’re firing the upper echelon managers and the Americans, and they’re keeping the H-1Bs in order to keep the costs down.
The news about American graduates losing their Fortune 500 jobs to foreign visa workers is a potential political problem for the Democratic Party. The liberal graduates are needed to offset the GOP’s populist wave of blue-collar workers who have been alienated by cheap labor migration, rising crime, and painful inflation.
“The [political] question is ‘Do the [Biden-voting] graduates know that they’re being replaced, or that are not getting jobs because of the foreign workers that [President Joe Biden] is bringing in?'” said Rosemary Jenks, the director of government relations for NumbersUSA.
“I think Democrats are assuming that they don’t know,” she added.
Most — certainly not all — GOP leaders are content to let the CEOs hire visa workers in place of the very liberal U.S. tech graduates.
The displacement is being spotlighted by Twitter’s Elon Musk, who is firing almost 4,000 workers — or one-in-two Twitter employees — in the U.S. and overseas. Most of the purged workers are Americans — but some of his H-1B employees are getting fired:
“There are approximately 625 to 670 Twitter employees in H-1B status,” said a report in Forbes.com by a business-backed advocate, which described a long list of reasons for discarding the Americans before the visa workers:
Employers should be aware that laying off employees in H-1B status carries additional rules to follow. “When an employer lays off an H-1B visa holder, three obligations are triggered,” William Stock of Klasko Immigration Law Partners said in an interview via email.
…
Kevin Miner, a partner with Fragomen, notes additional considerations for employers. “Whenever there is an involuntary termination, the employer has to offer to pay the one-way air transportation for the worker to their home country or last country of permanent residence.”
A report by MyVisaJobs.com showed that Twitter asked the federal government for 388 H-1B workers in 2022, and 1,118 H-1B workers in the prior three years. Roughly one-third of those workers are approved. The company has also nominated almost 200 foreigners for valuable green cards in exchange for their prior work.
Firing visa workers reduces the overall pool of workers available for the Fortune 500, the Forbes article noted. Fired visa workers are supposed to go home if they cannot get a replacement job within sixty days, or also give up their quest for green cards, the article suggested.
In reality, many H-1B workers get hired by other American companies or get different work permits via the no-limits Optional Practical Training Program. They can get also sweatshop jobs in the pyramids of foreign-owned subcontractors that lease cheap tech workers to Fortune 500 companies.
“Anyone who has gone to college to find employment in this field should be voting against the Democratic Party and voting for an American-first agenda,” said Kevin Lynn, founder of U.S. Tech Workers. “The Democratic Party is pushing open borders and bringing in people that literally push out [Americans] from higher skilled jobs,” he said.
President Joe Biden’s immigration deputy is Alejandro Mayorkas, the secretary of the Department of Homeland Security.
He lobbied to dramatically increase the inflow of visa workers, has also won a lawsuit that gives the White House seemingly unlimited authority to grant work permits to migrants who enroll in U.S. universities, and worked with the State Department to accelerate the flow of foreign workers.
Mayorkas has also shut down enforcement measures, dropped penalties for visa fraud, reduced deportations, and opened the door for foreign workers to take jobs after getting tourist visas. The resulting inflow of foreign workers has suppressed salaries paid to U.S. graduates, even as their housing costs spike and inflation erodes their consumer spending.
Mayorkas’ support for Fortune 500 companies gives a free hand to their investors and CEOs, including Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg.
[Zuckerberg announced] in September that Meta was planning to cut expenses by at least 10% in the coming months, in part through staff reductions. The cuts expected to be announced this week follow several months of more targeted staffing reductions in which employees were managed out or saw their roles eliminated.
“Realistically, there are probably a bunch of people at the company who shouldn’t be here,” Mr. Zuckerberg told employees at a companywide meeting at the end of June.
Facebook has thousands of foreign workers. In October, Facebook accepted a small fine after the federal government showed widespread hiring discrimination against American graduates.
“One guy called me [from Facebook] and he told me that he and [several] others got laid off,” said Palmer, who works with migrants seeking legal status, and with lawyers who sue companies on behalf of victimized Americans. “All of them are American citizens — even two Indian [immigrants] who are American citizens got laid off — the only people they kept were the [foreign] H-1Bs,” he said.
Similarly, the Irish-born CEO of Stripe, Patrick Collison announced he would be “reducing the size of our team by around 14%.” Stripe has approximately 300 to 350 H-1B workers, according to Forbes.
As tech CEOs discard their Democrat-voting professionals, many polls show Democrats need the voters of those professionals.
For example, white collars split 58 percent for Democrats and 37 percent for the GOP, while blue collars split 49 percent for the GOP and 40 percent for the Democrats, according to a September poll by the New York Times. Those numbers add up to a 30-point gap between the parties and the two classes.
On immigration issues, college graduates backed the Democrats over Republicans by 2o points — 56 percent to 36 percent — while blue collars backed the GOP over Democrats by 48 percent to 38 percent. Those numbers add up to another 30-point class gap between the two parties.
Nationwide, there are at least 1.5 million visa workers in white-collar jobs around the United States. This “Greencard Workforce” is cheap because the workers are paid low salaries and the hope of winning the huge deferred bonus of U.S. green cards.
These workers hold jobs with their H-1B visas, or with L-1, J-1, OPT, or H4EAD documents. But many work illegally after arriving with B-1/B-2 tourist visas.
This huge disposable workforce is valuable for the Fortune 500 because it allows managers to quickly hire and fire blocs of cheap subcontract workers. The pyramids of contractors are especially profitable because layers of managers can skim and share much of their foreign workers’ salaries.
Fortune 500 companies can import H-1Bs and pay them lower salaries posting them to lower-wage cities, such as Fargo, North Dakota.
The workforce policy also trains many foreign graduates, so helping U.S. investors to move white-collar jobs to low-wage India, China, and other countries.
The visa workforce also allows CEOs to sideline American professionals who demand more attention be paid to products’ security, privacy, reliability, and compliance with federal law.
The green card workforce also minimizes the career development of skilled American professionals who may launch new technologies and services that take revenue from existing Fortune 500 companies.
The bottom-line benefits of the visa workers are multiplied 20-fold in the stock market. Stock values — and executive bonuses — are inflated when stock-pickers are confident that companies’ labor costs remain low. In 2020, for example, advocates complained that Trump’s temporary bar against the inflow of new visa workers had chopped $100 billion off Fortune 500 stock values.
But the CEO’s eagerness to sideline American professionals has hidden costs.
For example, the exclusion of American professionals reduces the companies’ focus on long-term research, quality, security, accuracy, and safety. “It’s all upside to the corporations in the short run because the goal is to improve earnings per share,” said Lynn. “In the long run, it hurts innovation, it hurts productivity, [workplace] security, and national security,” he added.
That workplace shift deeply damaged companies such as Intel, Boeing, and Theranos.
The replacement is happening in a very wide variety of jobs needed by American graduates, including in science, Silicon Valley, journalism, fashion, and healthcare.
Visa workers cannot be professionals because they are not free to switch jobs, but are indentured to their cliques’ shared campaign to get green cards, said Lynn:
When you have a clique within your company, you open up opportunities for fraud, waste, and abuse … What you want is a well-integrated workforce free of cliques. What we have seen time and time again, is that when H-1Bs — particularly, H-1Bs from India — become more than a third of the workers in a company, you have a clique without transparency into day-to-day operations … You want to make sure that your workers share your interests, and you’re going to get that with the citizen professionals, and you’re going to have a more diverse and more interesting workplace.
Musk should ensure his “the interests of his workers should be congruent with his goal of democratizing journalism and empowering people — and you can’t do that when your workers are indentured servants,” said Lynn.
Corporate officials say H-1B workers are needed to fill empty slots. But that the claims of a shortage are debunked by data showing that tech workers’ salaries have remained flat for years.
Dice.com collects data on technology workers’ salaries. In 2019, the site showed that U.S. tech workers’ wages had dropped in value from 2009 to 2018 because inflation had exceeded the wage gains. The salaries had risen from $78,845 in 2009 to $93,244 in 2018, slightly below the inflation rate.
The vast majority (62%) of [American] college-educated workers who majored in a STEM [science, technology, engineering and math] field were employed in non-STEM fields such as non-STEM management, law, education, social work, accounting or counseling. In addition, 10% of STEM college graduates worked in STEM-related occupations such as health care.
The path to STEM jobs for non-STEM majors was narrow. Only a few STEM-related majors (7%) and non-STEM majors (6%) ultimately ended up in STEM occupations.
Many U.S. journalists help to hide the green card workforce from their own families, peers, and relatives by focusing their emotions on the preferences of migrants.
Also, most — but not all — U.S. professionals are cowed by the establishment’s claim that they must live in a “Nation of Immigrants.”
But some Americans are fighting back with lawsuits that show how hands-off U.S. CEOs allow foreign-born managers to corruptly sell skilled Americans’ jobs and careers to eager visa workers.
“I have seen the system in the backend, and it is so appalling to see that there is so much [resume] forgery being done, there’s so much of corruption being done, that it is almost to the level back in India,” Aabha, an Indian in North Carolina, told Breitbart News in November 2021.
Aabha continued:
I have met so many [American] people who are graduates and so much more knowledgeable than the Indians that I see in my regular [work]day — and they are [saying] like “Okay, because we are not experienced, we are not getting [technology] jobs.” So they decide to do a blue collar job. They’re walking into Walmart, they’re walking into Best Buy. And these Indians, the team that I work with, they cannot even speak a single sentence in English without making any mistakes.
Indian-run subcontractors and visa workers can forge resumes and technical credentials because U.S. employers “do not really do background verification unless and until they hire you as a full-time employee,” Aabha said, adding:
Just in case the [U.S.] employers need to check, the [Indian subcontractors] create one small office in India, they take a rental apartment in India, they put poor people there, they [instruct them to say] “If you get any calls, tell them that this person has experience.” That it. It’s as simple as that.
Once hired at U.S. wage rates, untrained Indian software workers pay qualified Indians in India to do the actual work on their U.S. computer at Indian wage rates, regardless of U.S. privacy and secrecy laws, Aabha said:
I’ve seen people working [for the] Bank of America [as] they take support from India. I’ve seen people working [for] Wells Fargo taking support from India …The person there in India will guide [them] via Zoom or by via video call and they will get the work done.
Many government reports, lawsuits, and articles say that India’s workplace culture is far more distrustful and grasping than Americans’ ideal of high-trust, dispassionate professionalism. Breitbart News has covered these developments here, here, here, here, and here.
“The fact of the matter is, the people on Wall Street don’t care — they want the bottom line,” he said.
“This corporatocracy has chosen not to invest in Americans and America, but rather to exploit Americans and in the long run, to bring great harm to America,” said Lynn.
Elon Musk: Vote Republican in Midterms to ‘Curb Excesses’ of Democrats
Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and SpaceX and — to the chagrin of the left — the new owner of Twitter, called on independent voters to back Republicans in tomorrow’s midterm elections to contain the excesses of the Democrat party.
“To independent-minded voters: shared power curbs the worst excesses of both parties, therefore I recommend voting for a Republican Congress, given that the Presidency is Democratic,” said Musk in a tweet.
“Hardcore Democrats or Republicans never vote for the other side, so independent voters are the ones who actually decide who’s in charge!”
Musk is a recent convert to the Republican party, and says he cast his first-ever ballot for a Republican candidate when he voted for Mayra Flores in her successful bid to represent Texas’s 34th Congressional District in a special election for the seat this summer.
Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk stated in a tweet in the early hours of Wednesday that he voted for Republican candidate Mayra Flores in the recent special election for Texas’s 34th Congressional District, also predicting a “massive red wave in 2022.” Following her historic win, Flores responded to Musk saying, “Welcome to the Republican Party! We welcome all walk aways from all walks of life. The party of opportunity, prosperity, and freedom is here to stay. We look forward to working together and building a better future for all of America.”
In a recent tweet, Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk stated that he voted for Republican candidate Mayra Flores in the Texas 34th Congressional District special election. Flores won the election, flipping a seat that has been under Democratic control for four decades.
Although Musk claims he is voting Republican, he insists he is a moderate, opposed to the extreme wings of both the left and right. If he sticks to his statement that shared power is fundamentally good, it could mean he would not back a Republican candidate for President if the GOP takes control of the Senate and House of Representatives tomorrow.
Despite his Wall Street, big business, Big Tech, and billionaire donations, Biden has attempted to portray himself as a small-town fighter from Scranton, Pennsylvania
Under Biden, FTC Chair Lina Khan and Justice Department antitrust chief Jonathan Kanter are largely against Big Tech from a competition standpoint — but are actively hostile to online free speech, with no plans to address widespread public complaints about out-of-control censorship.
Jen Psaki Tries to Dodge Deposition in Big Tech Censorship Lawsuit
The DOJ argued that Psaki’s deposition would result in a debate over executive privilege considering she was a top adviser to President Joe Biden.
The DOJ lawyer said: “If permitted to proceed, the deposition of Ms. Psaki would inevitably set the Executive and Judicial Branches ‘on a collision course’ through adjudications of executive privilege, thrusting the court into ‘the awkward position of evaluating the Executive’s claims of confidentiality and autonomy,’ and ‘difficult questions of separation of powers and checks and balances’ would quickly be pushed to the fore.”
According to the material obtained via the lawsuit, DHS planned to recommend censorship of Americans on a wide range of topics, including “the origins of the COVID-19 pandemic and the efficacy of COVID-19 vaccines, racial justice, U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan, and the nature of U.S. support to Ukraine.”

On the day that Joe Biden was sworn into office, he signed dozens of extensively radical executive orders. Then the Biden administration began populating the federal government and the federal Judiciary — including the new Supreme Court vacancy — with hundreds (probably thousands) of the most extreme anti-American people imaginable.
The administration has re-crafted an enormous number of laws and regulations — often illegally — to push the hard-left, woke, LGBT agendas throughout business, government, education, and society in general. U.S. foreign policy, including the hideous abandonment in Afghanistan and unhinged Ukrainian response, has clearly been coordinated to weaken America and strengthen our enemies. Our military is being emasculated — and proselytized to consider patriotic Americans as the enemy.
The Biden administration ignores our immigration laws and welcomes millions of illegal aliens to swarm across our southern border, and then methodically ships them to cities across the country (and even gives them cell phones to use).
The administration's aggressive "green new deal" is paralyzing our transportation system and causing crippling inflation never seen in this country before. Federal agencies, spearheaded by the Justice Department and FBI, have viciously become weaponized against conservatives, at the same time allowing "Antifa" and other left-wing hoodlum groups to terrorize citizens at will.
All of this destruction is being attributed by our political establishment to a man with obvious dementia who can barely read through a single sentence on a teleprompter, can't remember names, and cannot discuss anything of substance.
Republicans and conservatives love to beat up on Joe Biden. It makes great campaign fundraising rhetoric. But nobody can possibly believe that Biden in his perpetual mental fog actually planned any of this, wrote any of it, ordered it, or even knows any details about it.
And let's not forget that Biden became president not by actually campaigning, but through a massively coordinated effort involving billions of dollars and the most powerful corporations and political organizers in America to subvert the U.S. election process.
No prominent Republican politician is willing to publicly ask — and demand answers to — the obvious question: who is really doing all of this, using Biden as a mindless front man?
And why should they? Biden is a great political punching bag. Bringing up the hard question could have uncomfortable consequences — especially in this political climate.
This is not conjecture. A friend of mine who is involved in D.C. political circles had the opportunity this past year to ask that question — who is really running the country? — to a Republican congressman and a U.S. senator, both prominent conservatives. Both of them nervously dodged the question and insisted that "taking on Joe Biden" is what the GOP needs to do.
So who is the power behind the curtain? A lot of people say it's Barack Obama, or maybe Susan Rice. But the truth is that neither of them is capable of orchestrating something on this scale. Obama never really got anywhere on his own, and Susan Rice is a middleweight at best.
This has all the fingerprints of the Soros organization. The people there are extremely intelligent and proficient, they passionately hate America, they've been leading up to this for several decades, and they have access to untold wealth and influence. Everything mentioned above is something they are more than capable of organizing and carrying out.
But most of this couldn't have been accomplished during Biden's first two years without the cooperation of the 50 Democrat U.S. senators and the Democrat majority in the House. And then there are the cowardly Republicans in both houses, including the leadership, who consistently put up a "gentlemanly" fight that is destined to lose.
Right now, job number one is openly exposing the "shadow government" that is really running America, and doing everything possible to drive them completely out. Seeing what is happening now (and learning from the past), it is not an exaggeration to say that we are all on a freight train headed to hell. If we don't derail it soon, there will eventually be no turning back.
Brian Camenker is executive director of MassResistance, a national pro-family activist group.
The Biden Administration’s FTC and DOJ have signaled an aggressive antitrust strategy against Big Tech, but there are growing concerns that the efforts are being redirected, not against monopolies but against smaller companies trying to compete with them.
During the Obama Administration, Google exerted enormous power over antitrust policy at the Federal Trade Commission and Justice Department due to their close ties and donations to the Obama administration, as well as a revolving door of administration officials with the tech monopoly.
Under Biden, FTC Chair Lina Khan and Justice Department antitrust chief Jonathan Kanter are largely against Big Tech from a competition standpoint — but are actively hostile to online free speech, with no plans to address widespread public complaints about out-of-control censorship.
FTC Chair Lina Khan ( GRAEME JENNINGS/Getty)
Big Tech has been attempting to turn the nascent antitrust efforts to its advantage, by redirecting the progressive left’s efforts to target companies and causes that do them no damage or help them, particularly on issues like “net neutrality” and intellectual property.
An illustrative example is a recent letter by a Google-funded professor and think tank to Assistant AG Kanter demanding antitrust enforcement against relatively small companies. The letter is described as being signed by “28 former government enforcement officials, professors, and public interest advocates.” It appears on the SSRN page for Alex Moss of the Public Interest Patent Law Institute and Professor Michael Carrier of Rutgers Law School, who was also an advisor to Joe Biden’s 2020 campaign. The metadata of the PDF shows Prof. Carrier is the author.
The Public Interest Patent Law Institute is an obscure organization with Moss as just one of two listed staff members. However, Moss also serves as a special advisor to the Electronic Frontier Foundation, which also signed on to the letter. EFF has received millions of dollars from Google over the years to defend the tech giant on intellectual property, Section 230 reform, net neutrality, and censorship practices.
imilarly Michael Carrier has acknowledged $40,000 dollars in direct support of funding from Google specifically to study “copyright secondary liability and innovation.” Carrier has subsequently filed numerous briefs supporting Google’s positions on intellectual property issues.
Public Knowledge, who also signed the letter, publicly acknowledges it receives at least $50,000 a year from Google as well as Microsoft and Netflix. Other Big Tech-funded signers include Former FTC Chairman and George Mason Law professor Tim Murris.
He once co-wrote a law review article defending Amazon against antitrust claims, but later admitted the article was entirely funded by Amazon. Former FTC lawyer David Balto who has disclosed he “published research and authored scholarship for Google on technology policy topics” also signed the letter.
It may seem odd that pro-Big Tech authors are encouraging the Justice Department to strengthen antitrust enforcement. However, rather than address the trillion-dollar Big Tech monopolies, they are concerned about a small patent licensing platform called Avanci SEP which licenses certain wireless technology for automobiles. Avanci fought off an antitrust complaint from the German auto parts company Continental earlier this year.
The Google funded-scholar’s letter about this lawsuit complains that Avanci may increase its “license rates from $15 to $20 per car.” Whatever the merits of this argument, a five dollar increase in cars which sell for tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars doesn’t seem to warrant much attention.
However, Big Tech is afraid that stronger IP protections will keep them from being able to infringe. In fact, Apple filed an amicus brief in this case. Google’s own lawyers have acknowledged, “Google’s leadership doesn’t care terribly much about precedent or law” when it infringes on others’ IP.
As Trump’s top internet advisor Adam Candeub has noted in other contexts, when Google funds academics to weaken intellectual property laws, it is not about helping “small tech companies compete but letting Big Tech companies ignore the law to continue their dominance.”
This is just the latest example of Silicon Valley using liberal academics to push its agenda to ignore the law while claiming to promote competition.

Biden Admin to Investigate Guy They Disapprove Of Buying Twitter
"A growing number of Biden allies have in recent days clamored for CFIUS to investigate"
Is this the post-contempt phase of corrupt totalitarian politics that sets in, in banana republics when there are zero expectations of anything except corrupt criminality by the powers at the top?
U.S. exploring whether it has authority to review Musk’s Twitter deal – Washington Post
U.S.? Is that what we’re calling a partisan faction abusing its authority for political gain?
Does anyone seriously believe that the Biden administration would be investigating Elon Musk’s Twitter buy if t were say, Washington Post owner Jeff Bezos or if Musk were a reliable vote and committed to suppressing opposition speech?
That revelation comes as Treasury Department officials begin looking into whether they have the legal authority to start an investigation into the purchase because of Musk’s ties to foreign governments and investors, people familiar with those discussions said…
White House officials also previously discussed the possibility of a national security review of the acquisition, according to another person. Additionally, officials at the FBI looked into the potential counterintelligence risks posed by the deal this past spring, according to two people familiar with the inquiry — though it is not clear whether the matter has been studied by senior officials at the bureau or if those discussions are still active. All the people spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss matters they were not authorized to disclose publicly.
So the White House, the FBI and Treasury? Also known as the Biden administration looking for any angle to secure control over a key social media outlet again. Perhaps these folks might want to look into TikTok, which I hear is run by our enemies. Instead, Biden is being promoted by the Democrats on TikTok. But let’s skip forward to saying the quiet part out loud.
The U.S. government’s preliminary attempts to scrutinize the Twitter deal comes as the billionaire introduces new changes to the structure of one the world’s most powerful communication platforms…
A growing number of Biden allies have in recent days clamored for CFIUS to investigate how these nations could influence Musk.
So it’s about the politics.
Launching investigations of companies for partisan political gain would seem to be illegal and an impeachable offense.

FNC’s Carlson: Democrats ‘Need’ Censorship to Hold onto Power
Monday, FNC host Tucker Carlson suggested Democrats and the media were using the attack on Paul Pelosi to call for censorship as Elon Musk is now the owner of Twitter, and Democrats gripe about other media outlets that run counter to their narrative.
According to Carlson, without censorship, Democrats struggle to maintain their grip on power.
Transcript as follows:
CARLSON: We’ve been watching this story all weekend with growing bewilderment. Last Friday morning, as you know, around 2:00 AM, police arrived at the home of the Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi. It’s in the Pacific Heights neighborhood of San Francisco. Inside the home, they found Pelosi’s 82- year-old husband, Paul, and another man, 40 years younger, called David DePape. Nancy Pelosi was out of town at the time.
In full view of the police, DePape hit Paul Pelosi in the head two times with a hammer. Both Pelosi and DePape were then taken immediately to a local hospital — Pelosi for his head injuries and DePape for reasons that are still not clear. DePape was later charged in Federal Court with assault and attempted kidnapping.
At this point, that’s what we can say for certain. David DePape assaulted Paul Pelosi with a hammer. Apparently, DePape has admitted that in police custody, but beyond those facts, there was much in the story that remains muddy.
How, for example, did DePape get inside the Pelosi home? That’s the first question. Last year, ABC News reported what you already guessed, which is that Pelosi has round-the-clock protection at her houses. “She has her own security. She has the Capitol Police. They fly all the way out here from Washington, DC with her.”
And yet in this case, San Francisco DA Brooke Jenkins says that there was no security present at the Pelosi home on Friday night. And that’s pretty strange because according to multiple accounts, even when Pelosi isn’t at home, her houses are well-guarded. Again, as you would expect.
Our friend Harmeet Dhillon told us that when her firm recently tried to serve a lawsuit against Paul Pelosi at various properties he owns, all of them were guarded by “multiple law enforcement officers on the perimeter.”
So how did DePape, get past security that apparently wasn’t there? And why wasn’t it there if, in fact, it wasn’t? We know he got inside and once he was inside, what exactly happened next? Well, accounts of that are changing.
At the first press conference on Friday, San Francisco Police suggested there was a third person in the home when police arrived and POLITICO dutifully reported that, “Officers arrived at the house, knocked on the front door and were led inside by an unknown person.” In other words, by a person who was not David DePape or Paul Pelosi.
Now, POLITICO never formally corrected this claim. Instead, just two days later, POLITICO, the same publication, attacked anyone who repeated its own reporting as a crazed conspiracy monger: “Pro-Trump commentators weighed in online to raise questions about the investigation based on unfounded and false claims. Among those baseless claims that a third person answered the door when police arrived at the Pelosi home.”
Okay. Three separate adjectives, knocking down that idea, but the question remains, was there a third person at the home? We don’t know, but it’s not crazy to assume there was.
Here is how today’s charging documents described the scene inside the house: “When the door was opened, Pelosi and DePape were both holding a hammer with one hand and DePape had his other hand holding on to Pelosi’s forearm. Pelosi greeted the officers. The officers asked them what was going on. DePape responded, Everything was good.”
So, it is an awful scene in some ways, but here’s the critical clause: “When the door was opened.” Well, opened by whom? Common sense suggests it probably couldn’t have been Pelosi or DePape who opened it. They were locked in a life-or-death drama, a struggle, over a hammer.
The documents filed today assert that Paul Pelosi had never seen David DePape before, yet in Pelosi’s 9-1-1 call he knew DePape’s first name and apparently referred to him as a friend. Here’s the audio. This is from a dispatcher relaying Paul Pelosi’s call.
(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)
DISPATCH AUDIO: RP (reporting person) stated that there was a male in the home and that he is going to wait for his wife. RP stated that he doesn’t know who the male is, but he advised that his name is David and that he is a friend.
(END AUDIO CLIP)
CARLSON: So, what does that mean exactly? Well, again, we don’t know, and we can’t know. We do know that anyone who has ever met Paul Pelosi can tell you he is an awfully nice man. He is warm and he is friendly, and he certainly didn’t deserve to be hit in the head with a hammer. It’s horrifying that he was.
But as long as this is a news story with public policy implications, and unfortunately, that’s what it has become, it is fair to ask the obvious questions, as you would, about any other violent crime that occurs in America, and especially this one, since so many facts, basic facts seem to be in dispute.
Local KTVU investigative reporter Evan Sernoffsky, for example, initially reported that DePape was “found in underwear” when police arrived. Today, Sernoffsky made a specific point of retracting that claim. “I’m now told by other sources that DePape was not dressed only in his underwear.”
Well, okay, fair enough. We’d be satisfied with either explanation, not really our business. But you can’t blame (and this is the point), you can’t blame people watching all of this at home for thinking that maybe there’s something weird going on here. Parts of the official account don’t seem to make any sense.
So, the solution, obviously, is to release the police bodycam footage from last Friday. That’s often done immediately in cases like this, cases that attract heavy public scrutiny. Transparency restores the public’s faith in the system. It is the only thing that does. In fact, that’s the whole point of bodycams, to reassure people that they can really know what happened. Transparency is the antidote to “misinformation.”
On the other hand, if you want people to fall headfirst into crazed conspiracy theories, then you would keep lying and hiding things, and yet for some reason, the San Francisco Police Department is refusing to release Friday’s bodycam video. We learned that today when we filed a records request. “No chance,” they said.
So, until we see that tape, there is a lot that we cannot know, but the main question tonight, (one that’s going to affect your life going forward because this story will affect your life), the question is, who exactly is David DePape?
Many in the media seem studiously uninterested. They don’t really want to know. At a police press conference last week, a reporter was caught on a hot mic being instructed by someone not to discuss DePape in any great detail. So, it was left in the end to a journalist who doesn’t work for a big media outlet, independent reporter, Michael Shellenberger, to fill in some of the blanks.
Shellenberger first did the obvious. He went to where DePape was living, across the Bay in Berkeley. You’re seeing an image of it on your screen right now.
Apparently, DePape was camping full-time in a dilapidated Ken Kesey-style school bus, complete with a gay pride flag out front and a sign that reads “Berkeley Stands Against Hate.” Behind the bus hangs a BLM banner. So, politically, this picture could not be clearer. You know where this guy stands.
But Shellenberger and others kept digging. They found that DePape was, in fact, well known in the area, in the entire Bay Area, as a hallucinogenic drug enthusiast and a semiprofessional nudist. He often appeared at nudist themed events.
Does David DePape have a prior criminal history? That’s an obvious question and perhaps a relevant one. But we can’t answer it because, once again, authorities in San Francisco have refused to tell us or anyone else.
We do know that the people around David DePape believe that he was completely deranged. The ones who knew him best thought that. “The San Francisco Chronicle” interviewed his ex-girlfriend, who reported that DePape is mentally ill and struggles with drugs.
For example, he once thought he was “Jesus for a year. He’s never been able to hold a job,” said the former girlfriend. “He has been homeless. This person really does suffer from mental illness and that is probably why he was there at 2:00 AM.” She described him as a “broken child in an adult body with serious mental problems.”
DePape’s neighbors, who would know, said more or less the same thing.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
REPORTER: Anything strange about him or anything that stood out?
TRISH, DAVID DEPAPE’S NEIGHBOR: There is something strange about the whole household. The entire household is very, very strange.
REPORTER: How about him?
TRISH: He is birds of a feather with — akin to them. So, they are just, you know, nudist drug abusers and that’s who gravitates toward them.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
CARLSON: So, just another homeless, mentally ill drug addict with a fondness for BLM. That’s not quite so unusual in San Francisco.
Oh, and there’s one other highly unsurprising thing about David DePape. He’s also an illegal alien.
Today, Fox’s Bill Melugin learned that DePape, who is originally from Canada, has long overstayed his visa, so he is currently in this country illegally.
So, to restate, the perpetrator in this violent crime against Paul Pelosi is a mentally ill, drug addicted illegal alien nudist who takes hallucinogens and lives in a hippie school bus in Berkeley with a BLM banner and a pride flag out front.
So, take those uncontested facts and let them rattle around your brain for a moment until a recognizable pattern emerges. What does this sound like to you?
If you guessed, this is obviously a textbook case of homegrown right-wing extremism, well, then, obviously, you’ve been watching a lot of cable news today. Here’s a selection:
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
BRIANNA KEILAR, CNN ANCHOR: Is this political violence, in your opinion?
JOHN MILLER, CNN CHIEF LAW ENFORCEMENT AND INTELLIGENCE ANALYST: It seems to be clear that the content of his social media and the statements he allegedly made about “Where is Nancy? We’re going to wait for Nancy,” certainly points in that direction.
TIFFANY CROSS, MSNBC HOST: It seems like there’s this effort to normalize this kind of behavior and to make Trumpers feel at home and prioritize their feelings.
JEFF ZELENY, CNN CHIEF NATIONAL AFFAIRS CORRESPONDENT: This is about election denialism. What has happened over the last two years has seeped into the minds and the thoughts of some unstable people.
MIKA BRZEZINSKI, MSNBC HOST: Deranged right-wing fanatics, Trump Media allies and some of the most powerful people in the world were feverishly trying to stir up conspiracy theories that distracted from the central political headline of this story that years of Republican propaganda and Trump fueled fascism led 42-year-old David DePape to break into Nancy Pelosi’s San Francisco home.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
CARLSON: Well, to be fair, the fact that Mika Brzezinski has a high-paying job does give rise to conspiracy theories. I mean, in a fair society, how could that happen? But it has.
The bottom line is, ladies and gentlemen, the mentally ill, homeless, illegal alien, drug addict who lives in a painted school bus in Berkeley with a BLM flag is actually, despite all appearances, another member of Donald Trump’s QAnon army.
As CNN commentator David Axelrod put it, “Far-right conspiracy theories are to blame here.” And of course, Jen Rubin at “The Washington Post” accused right-wing Republicans of “inciting violence” against the Pelosi family using this illegal alien, homeless guy on drugs. “The far-right demonized Pelosi and that led to the attack,” read a banner on MSNBC.
So, on what grounds, other than political desperation, are they saying things like this? Well, according to some reports, the homeless, mentally ill, drug addicted, illegal alien David DePape somehow maintained websites with right-wing content on them.
One of these sites was apparently called frenlyfrens.com and the strange thing about that website is that the web address for it was registered back in September, but there is content on the site that is backdated to August and internet archiving services didn’t register any content from that blog, apparently David DePape’s blog, until October 28th. That was the day of DePape’s attack on Paul Pelosi.
On October 28, frenlyfrens.com suddenly included a bunch of incoherent posts about UFOs and Peter Navarro. I’m not making that up. Those are the facts. What do they mean? Well, it’s a right-wing conspiracy, obviously. Better indict Marjorie Taylor Greene for the crime.
So, keep in mind, as you shake your head at bewilderment at all of this, that the Midterm Elections are next Tuesday and Democrats are in trouble, and they believe the attack on Paul Pelosi might help them.
As Margaret Brennan explained over on CBS, because a mentally ill illegal alien attacked Nancy Pelosi’s husband, it is now immoral to criticize the leader of the Democrats a week before an election. Savor this.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
MARGARET BRENNAN, CBS NEWS HOST: Republican candidates have more than $116 million on ads that mentioned Speaker Pelosi by name in this cycle.
If this is about the issues, why shouldn’t make it about the issues? We are eight days out. Don’t you think this needs to change? Why not pull some of these ads.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
CARLSON: “Why do you make it about the issues?” Said the lady who spent four years screaming about Donald Trump, the man. It’s hilarious and brazen and shameless and the second the Midterms are over, they’ll stop.
But the point is, as always, all the journalists — journalists — got the same memo and they’re all running with the same memo, of course using exactly the same words.
Ashley Parker at “The Washington Post” wrote this, “In 2022, the GOP spent $40 million vilifying Pelosi in ads and on Friday, her husband was attacked by a hammer.” Do you see the direct correlation?
If you criticize Nancy Pelosi, obviously you’re endangering her family. Of course, she does run the political party that’s facing reelection right now, that controls the United States Congress. She’s third in line for the presidency. But you can’t criticize her because if you do, you’re just like your acolyte — (Paul) DePape.
So, the Republican Party clearly needs to stop running advertisements that hurt Democrats ahead of the midterms. Please. That’s the problem here, not the mentally ill, BLM nudist in Berkeley.
So what they are really arguing is in the wake of this attack, which is awful against someone who did not deserve it and we want to be clear about that, Paul Pelosi really is a nice guy. Hard to believe, but he is.
But in the wake of that, they are telling you, unfortunately, you can no longer have free speech. We can’t. They’re telling you this is an example of “stochastic terrorism,” which is a completely meaningless phrase that emerged like a virus out of the university to infect our public discourse or more precisely, to suppress our public discourse.
Reuters has reported that — and we are quoting — “Terrorism and extremism experts believe it could be an example of the growing threat of so-called stochastic terrorism in which sometimes unstable individuals are inspired to violence by hate speech.”
Okay. What is hate speech, by the way? All of a sudden, everyone in the media has sort of, without explaining why, agreed that there’s this thing called hate speech that’s real and probably actionable. They can find a billion-dollar judgment against you if you commit hate speech, but just to remind everyone watching, there’s no such thing as hate speech.
Hate speech is speech people hate, usually the people in power. The truth is all speech, except speech that encourages people to imminent illegal action, like “go shoot that guy”, short of that, there’s no hate speech. All of it is allowed under the United States’ Constitution, which is our final hope.
But what they’re telling you is that dissenting in any way from the editorial positions of, say, “The Washington Post” or “The Daily Beast” or The Atlantic Magazine, disagreeing with those publications and the consensus they represent isn’t simply immoral. No, it’s worse than that. It’s violence. It gets people killed. That’s the stochastic terrorism.
When you question, say, COVID protocols or “Drag Queen Story Hour” or the war against Russia, you are effectively smashing an 82-year-old man in the head with a hammer. They’re making that argument. And of course, they have no choice but to make that argument.
Democrats are very worried about the coming elections, but they’re absolutely terrified that Elon Musk may allow people to criticize them on Twitter and they know or what Republicans don’t seem to know, which is without censorship, the Democratic Party cannot continue to hold power.
Democrats understand that. They have nothing to offer. They have to stop you from asking questions, so they have to crush Elon Musk, not because he is a right-winger, but because he will allow their opponents to speak. And of course, they are using the attack on poor Paul Pelosi to do just that.
“The New York Times” has just come out with a piece that says — and we are quoting — “Elon Musk in a Tweet, shares a link from a site known to publish fake news.” Really? What did Elon Musk do? Well, he linked to an article about how Paul Pelosi called the guy in his home a friend. Well, that’s what the 9-1-1 tape says. You can draw your own conclusions or not, or maybe you don’t care, which is also fine.
How is that fake? It seems to be real. NBC News’ Ben Collins explaining that Musk’s tweets are “how you lose a democracy in the age of the internet.” Oh, by asking questions.
Jimmy Kimmel attacked Musk personally, he used to be a comic, sad to watch that decline. “It’s been interesting,” Kimmel wrote to Musk, “To watch you blossom from the electric car guy into a fully formed piece of .” (human excrement.)
Then CNN told its viewers today that in the wake of the attack on Paul Pelosi, Elon Musk no longer let people speak freely on Twitter. That was his plan, but no more. In the wake of the attack on Pelosi, Musk must retain “what the far-right calls censorship” Who are the far-right?
We don’t need to be far-right to identify the censorship, because censorship is exactly what it is and to restate, Democrats could no longer exist or hold power without it. They need censorship, and they’re going to try to use this horrifying crime to hold on to it.
But something else is going on here too, something beneath even all of that. Obviously, by immediately politicizing the attacks, Democrats get a lot potentially. But the main thing they do is effectively obscure the deepest truth of all, which is that what happened to Paul Pelosi is not so unusual anymore.
Crime in this country is out of control by every measure. Attacks by the mentally ill, homeless, even non-nudists who don’t live in buses, but the mentally ill homeless are now their own category. They’re a feature of life in our cities, in fact, of every part of this country controlled by the Democratic Party.
If you live in one of those places, no matter who you vote for, you know that that’s true. You’re pushed in front of a Subway train by one of them. That’s entirely real. Here’s one recent and especially awful example from California.
A 54-year-old man and his 22-year-old daughter were just stabbed to death in the parking lot of a Kohl’s in Palmdale by a mentally ill homeless man. Not an unusual story, but a particularly awful one. Here’s a local news account:
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
KTTV REPORTER: Residents say there are multiple homeless encampments in the area and that people are known to live out of their cars in the back of this particular parking lot. Everyone said they’re shocked by the violence.
CASEY COLLIER, PALMDALE RESIDENT: For me, I was like dumbfounded. Just think, like, wait, somebody just got stabbed in broad daylight? I mean, like again, it doesn’t matter if it’s daylight or nighttime, but the fact that people have the audacity, which means, hey, people don’t care, you know, especially when you’re dealing with the type of mentality that these homeless people have, they don’t care.
So, to find out, like, wait a minute, somewhere where I go shopping, to get gas, my bank is right here, but then some dead person is right there. That’s infuriating and sad.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
CARLSON: To restate with heartfelt sincerity, we couldn’t feel worse about what happened to Paul Pelosi. He didn’t deserve it.
On the other hand, if you’re going to be injured in a violent crime in 2022, not so surprising that that crime was committed by a mentally ill homeless man because so many crimes are committed by mentally ill homeless people. A fact that everyone who lives in the city understands perfectly well and the people who are making it possible, the leaders of the Democratic Party, assiduously ignore.
This summer, a nonprofit director in San Francisco, for example, a man called James Spingola asked two homeless men to move away from the steps of a community center. In response, the homeless man violently beat him with a wooden plank and sent him to the hospital. This happened at 11:00 AM in broad daylight. This happens all the time.
And here’s the point: The psycho drug addled zombies who do it are usually released the same day to do it again. Everyone knows that. It’s not an accident. It’s the result of policy, policies that Nancy Pelosi supports in her own city.
But in this case, the guy did not walk because it happened at Nancy Pelosi’s House. So, the guy is still in jail. He’s not benefiting from cashless bail. The police got there in two minutes in San Francisco. That’s four times faster than the average response time in San Francisco. Four times.
So, the lesson here couldn’t be more obvious and their screaming is designed to keep you from reaching this conclusion, but here it is: Nancy Pelosi and her party, the Democratic Party — it’s not an overstatement to say this — have deliberately created a breakdown in law and order and safety and quality of life in your neighborhood. Yet, they are given special treatment themselves when it happens to them.
So, you can grieve the attack on Paul Pelosi and see it as horrifying because it is and still understand that the response to it would not be extended to you. It’s a double standard. It’s a two-tiered system of justice. That’s completely unacceptable and it’s not justice. In fact, it’s the opposite.
So, the media ought to be saying something about this. This is happening. This crime specifically happened, but so many others have happened because of policies designed to allow them to happen and someone in the press should point that out. “Hey, Paul Pelosi is not the only guy who got attacked by a nut case homeless guy this month,” but they’re not saying that and because they’re not saying that, Democratic politicians get to skate and not just skate, but to grandstand on Republican violence in ways that any person with a sense of shame would be totally incapable of doing because you’d hate yourself for doing it.
But they don’t hate themselves. They’ll say whatever it takes.
On the very same day that Barack Obama blamed Republicans for assaulting Paul Pelosi, Obama was campaigning in Wisconsin for Tony Evers. Does that name sound familiar? That’s the Governor who let homicidal mobs take over the City of Kenosha two years ago for political reasons. Watch this.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
BARACK OBAMA, FORMER PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES: We’ve got politicians who work to stir up division, to try to make us angry and afraid of one another for their own advantage and all of it gets amped up, hyped up 24/7 by social media, because a lot of times they are for-profit platforms and they find it more profitable to feed you controversy and conflict instead of facts and truth, and sometimes it can turn dangerous.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
CARLSON: Oh, your speech turns dangerous. Other people are stirring up resentment. Really? No President in American history ever caused, intentionally caused, more racial division, more race hate than Barack Obama did. Of course, it was the key to his second term, obviously.
But the solution to something that he did is prohibiting you from saying what you think. Shutting down your constitutionally protected right, your God-given right to say what you think is true is always the solution because they conflate words with violence when it suits them.
In Georgia last week, Barack Obama said Democrats, the party that defunded the police, the Democratic Party, somehow, he said, bears no responsibility for the rise in violent crime all over the country. In fact, Obama pretended Democrats had not voted to defund the police at all. “Who actually voted against more resources for the police departments?” He asked.
It’s like if he will say anything, maybe it works.
Yes. Who oversees Baltimore and Gary, Indiana; Minneapolis; New York; Seattle and Portland, Oregon? How are those cities doing?
Speaking of shamelessness, Kathy Hochul just went to on Al Sharpton’s show to claim that the crime wave, the one that you’re watching, the one that may have hurt you or killed one of your neighbors, it’s all fake, in the statement that is crazier than anything Alex Jones has ever thought.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
GOV. KATHY HOCHUL (D-NY): They have a conspiracy going all across America to try and convince people that in Democratic States, they are not is safe.
Well, guess what? They’re also not only election deniers, they’re data deniers. The data shows that shootings and murders are down in our State by 15 percent, even in New York City, down 20 percent on Long Island where Lee Zeldin comes from.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
CARLSON: So, that’s just a lie. Actually, New York is so dangerous that people are leaving. Rents haven’t gone down because foreign investors are buying up a lot of the buildings, but people are leaving New York in droves. Of course.
But according to Kathy Hochul in a claim that is truly crazier than anything Alex Jones has ever even thought, in the shower to himself, Kathy Hochul is telling you that the data are fake.
So here you have a city in which, New York City, Subway ridership has dropped by 40 percent over the last two years.
Now, according to Kathy Hochul it’s not because Subway riders are being pushed in front of trains. People are being attacked by the mentally homeless. No, it’s because apparently millions of New Yorkers are watching FOX News. They’ve been fooled by right-wing propaganda into thinking the Subway is dangerous. That’s what she’s suggesting.
This is too stupid. This is a lie. Voters know it’s a lie and when Democrats get crushed in next week’s midterms, it’ll be in part because people who live in cities and states run by liberals understand that what happened to Paul Pelosi could very well happen to them, and no one would care. “Morning Joe” would pretend it never happened.
