Fed continues rate hikes to target wages
The US Federal Reserve again lifted its base rate by 0.75 percentage points yesterday with Fed chair Jerome Powell telling a press conference the “ultimate level of interest rates will be higher than previously expected.”
There was a very sharp shift in the reaction on Wall Street to the decision. When the Federal Open Market Committee, the central bank’s rate setting body, released its statement the markets moved up.
This was in response to a new sentence which read: “In determining the pace of future increases in the target range, the Committee will take into account the cumulative tightening of monetary policy, the lags with which monetary policy affects economic activity and inflation, and economic and financial developments.”
This was taken to mean that with an increase of 375 basis points in the interest rate since it began tightening in March, the Fed was looking to ease off as it gauged the effects of the previous hikes. Accordingly share prices rose and the yield on Treasury bonds moved down.
But that sentiment changed very quickly during Powell’s press conference, which began half an hour after the FOMC statement was issued as shares on Wall Street dropped sharply in the last hour of trading.
The S&P 500 index closed 2.5 percent down, with all 11 of its sectors off by at least 1 percent, the Dow dropped 505 points, 1.5 percent, and the interest-rate sensitive NASDAQ index fell 3.4 percent.
While Powell made a reference to the new sentence in the FOMC statement, his focus was an insistence the Fed was not easing up.
In some ways it recalled what had taken place earlier in the year when the Fed said it would stop rate rises at some point, giving rise to expectations it was about to pull back. Powell used his speech to the central bankers’ Jackson Hole conclave at the end of August to scotch that belief.
The fact that Powell chose at his press conference not to elaborate on the new sentence but to insist there was no immediate let up may be an indication of emerging differences in the Fed’s governing body. The meeting’s minutes to be published later this month could throw further light on this question.
For his part Powell left no doubt where he stood. “We anticipate that ongoing increases in the target range for the federal funds rate will be appropriate in order to attain a stance of monetary policy that is sufficiently restrictive to return inflation to 2 percent,” he said.
But there was “significant uncertainty” about what that rate might be. “Even so, we still have some ways to go, and incoming data since our last meeting suggest that the ultimate level of interest rates will be higher than previously expected.”
He also noted the Fed was in the process of “significantly reducing the size of our balance sheet” [the Fed’s asset holdings are being reduced by $95 billion a month] and this was playing an “important role in firming the stance of monetary policy.”
Reducing inflation was “likely to require a sustained period of below-trend growth and some softening of labour market conditions.”
Powell concluded by insisting that “the historical record cautions strongly against prematurely loosening monetary policy” and “we will stay the course, until the job is done.”
But the crucial question is, what is that job?
The Fed maintains it is in a fight against inflation and its policies are guided by the need to “promote maximum employment and price stability for the American people.” This piece of fiction is continuously wheeled out to obscure the real target—the working class.
But despite Powell’s efforts, the central agenda emerged from his remarks to the press conference.
“We are taking forceful steps to moderate demand so that it comes into better alignment with supply,” he said, and the overarching goal was to bring inflation down to the Fed’s 2 percent target.
His review of the state of the US economy, however, made some revealing points.
The economy, he said, had “slowed significantly” from last year, there was a “modest growing of spending and production this quarter,” growth in consumer spending had slowed, reflecting “lower real disposable income and tighter financial conditions,” housing sector activity had “weakened significantly,” reflecting higher mortgage rates, and higher interest rates and slower output growth “also appear to be weighing on business fixed investment.”
In other words, according to Powell, demand is down in all areas of the economy, except one, the labour market.
“Despite the slowdown in growth,” he said, “the labour market remains extremely tight, with the unemployment rate at a 50-year low, job vacancies still very high, and wage growth elevated.”
The labour market, he went on, “continues to be out of balance with demand substantially exceeding the supply of available workers.”
Given that, as Powell acknowledged, the labour force participation rate, the percentage of the population in the labour force, is not changing, largely because of the ongoing effects the COVID pandemic, which failed to rate a mention in his remarks, this means the increased supply of workers can only come by increasing unemployment.
The overriding concern of the Fed is that, as Powell put it, “the longer the current bout of high inflation continues, the greater the chance that expectations of higher inflation will become entrenched.”
In other words, recognising that the inflationary price gouging by major corporations will continue indefinitely, workers will develop their independent action to break free of the straitjacket imposed by the trade union bureaucracy which has led to continuous cuts in their wages and the intensification of exploitation.
To the extent there are fears in the Fed’s governing bodies and in the financial system more broadly they are not because of recession.
Rather, they centre on what the tightening of monetary policy could mean for the stability of the financial system, particularly in the wake of the crisis in the UK last month, and the recent contraction of liquidity in the $24 trillion US Treasury market, the basis of the American and global financial system.
These fears were noted in a comment by Priya Misra, head of global rates strategy at TD Securities, to the Financial Times as she pointed to the financial stability concerns that had erupted in the UK in September.
If you looked at the US data, she said, it was very hard to argue that the Fed needed to downshift on its rate rises. “But if you look at the global picture, the UK situation should give them caution to downshift without pivoting.”
That is, the Fed should continue with interest rate increases but not at a pace which would cause a crisis on the financial system.
While concerns grow behind the scenes, the Fed and other authorities maintain publicly that the financial system has been “stress tested.”
But the deputy Bank of England governor John Cunliffe explained in a recent letter to a UK Treasury committee that such tests in Britain did not provide a safeguard.
The “scale and speed” of repricing in the UK bond market leading up to September 28—the yield on the 30-year UK Treasury moved by 1.6 percentage points in a few days, something never seen before—were not likely to have been accounted for in regulatory stress tests, he wrote.
The same issues are present in the US financial system with growing warnings that liquidity conditions in the Treasury market are starting to approach those experienced in the March 2020 crisis at the start of the pandemic.
Watch: 850 Migrants Cross into Texas Border Town in One Hour
EAGLE PASS, Texas — More than 800 migrants in two evenly split groups crossed the Rio Grande early Wednesday morning. One group almost entirely consisted of Cubans. At the same time and further south of the city, the second group made entry. A third group of 50 crossed within the vicinity and time period as well.
The two large groups were primarily Cuban and Nicaraguan nationals, and some were from Ecuador. Although most were single adults, nearly one quarter of the largest group consisted of family units with small children.
Border Patrol agents sorted the migrants by nationality, family unit status, and sex to better facilitate transportation from the scenes. According to a source within CBP, fewer Venezuelan migrants are crossing in the large groups due to a recent policy change that subjects most of them to immediate expulsion to Mexico under the CDC Title 42. Despite the change, several members of the group interviewed by Breitbart Texas were from Venezuela.
The number and frequency of large migrant group crossings near Eagle Pass have not been impacted by the Biden Administration’s latest effort to return Venezuelans to Mexico. On Tuesday, more than 400 mostly Cubans crossed into Normandy, Texas, only 20 miles from Eagle Pass. According to a source within CBP, the crossings continue unabated and could result in the 2023 Fiscal Year exceeding the record breaking totals from 2021 and 2022.
Most of the migrants apprehended on Wednesday will be transported to a nearby soft-sided detention facility manned by Border Patrol before they are released into the United States to pursue asylum. In the video, several Cubans had a simple message for President Biden: “Accept us.” One told Breitbart the trip to the United States was difficult and lasted longer than 20 days.

Democrat Senate Candidates Across America Reject Border Security
Democratic Senate candidates across the country have fought against border security measures amid an unprecedented border crisis.
Senator Raphael Warnock
Senator Warnock of Georgia is just one Democrat who has fought against border security measures amid our border crisis. The incumbent Senator has voted against Title 42, a policy that allows authorities to expel migrants on the basis of public health.
Warnock has also voted to fund deadly sanctuary cities, prompting National Republican Senate Committee Spokesman Priscilla Ivasco to remark ”In the face of a growing migrant crisis at our Southern border, Senate Democrats once again chose to side with radical, liberal activists instead of with the vast majority of Americans.”
She also said that their policies will lead to a “permanent cycle of illegal immigration.”
National Republican Senate Committee Spokesman Jonathan Turcotte said in a statement that Warnock and other Democrat Senators “failed their most basic duty to secure the border and keep Americans safe” after they voted against legislation that would’ve ensured that the border wall continued to receive funding.
Warnock’s opponent, Herschel Walker, is endorsed by the U.S. Border Patrol Union, as well as various other law enforcement organizations.
Warnock has benefited from mass immigration, with the Democrat incumbent receiving massive swaths of the vote from Georgia’s foreign-born population in his 2020 race.
The New York Times contends that the Senator’s victory in 2020 was “fueled by the state’s changing demographics,” which could “mean that Georgia has finally achieved battleground status.”
The Washington Post also asserted that Warnock has been given a competitive advantage due to “demographic changes that are transforming the state” as a result of mass immigration. Leftist activists have boasted that they are mobilizing immigrant populations for the upcoming election.
Senator Mark Kelly
Meanwhile, Democrat incumbent Mark Kelly from Arizona has a history of voting against border security. Although he comes from a border state that is disproportionately affected by the crisis on our southern border, Kelly voted to end Title 42, just like Warnock.
In addition, the Democrat incumbent voted against an amendment that would have prohibited the Biden administration from canceling border wall contracts for which funds had already been appropriated.
Kelly even lied about this record during his opening statement in his debate against Republican Blake Masters, falsely claiming that he has stood up against the Democratic Party in favor of border security.
Additionally, the Democrat Senator from Arizona voted against a measure that would have prohibited the Internal Revenue Service from hiring any new agents until the U.S. Border Patrol doubled its forces. Kelly’s opponent, Republican Blake Masters, has been endorsed by the National Border Patrol Council.
Representative Tim Ryan
Democrat Senate candidate Tim Ryan of Ohio waffled on the issue of illegal immigration before becoming a stalwart opponent of border security. In 2018, Ryan voted for a resolution that signaled opposition to allowing illegal immigrants to vote.
But just six months later, Ryan voted against a motion to recommit to the resolution against allowing illegal immigrants to vote. Since then, Ryan has repeatedly voted against border security measures that would make America safer.
While in Congress, Democrat Tim Ryan voted to defund the border wall. Ryan also voted to increase the number of immigrant visas and to fund the transportation of migrants deeper into America, thereby making it more difficult for them to be deported.
John Fetterman
Democrat John Fetterman, who is running for Senate in Pennsylvania against Mehmet Oz, falsely claimed that sanctuary city policies that prevent the deportation of illegal immigrants make “everybody safer.” The Democrat candidate noted, “sanctuary cities is another policy that I very much support.”
Senator Maggie Hassan
Citizens for Sanity blasted Democrat Senator Maggie Hassan of New Hampshire in a newspaper advertisement that read “Thank you Senator Hassan for keeping the border open” and “Sex traffickers could never succeed without friends like you.”
The Senator has called for increased personnel on the border, though she has ignored Biden’s policy of catch and release, which has fueled illegal immigration.
Senator Catherine Cortez Masto
Incumbent Democrat Senator Catherine Cortez Masto of Nevada has been accused of feigning concern over the border by her Republican opponent Adam Laxalt. Cortez Masto has supported amnesty and opposed the construction of the border wall.
But the Democrat incumbent spoke out against the Biden Administration’s decision to end Title 42, telling Politico that ending the measure “is the wrong way to do this and it will leave the administration unprepared for a surge at the border.”
Laxalt told Breitbart News that Cortez Masto is “desperately trying to fool Nevadans into thinking she cares about protecting our border,” because she is “trailing in the polls.”
Laxalt also asserted, “The truth is that she’s spent her time in the Senate opposing common sense border security efforts, supporting lawless sanctuary cities, and undermining efforts to stop criminal illegal immigrants.”
Immigration and border security have taken center stage in races across the country as America grapples with a truly unprecedented crisis on our southern border. Roughly 5 million illegal immigrants have crossed our border according to a report from the Federation for American Immigration Reform.
According to one poll, 47 percent of Independent voters say that they trust the Republican Party to handle issues surrounding illegal immigration more than they trust the Democrats. Only 40 percent say they trust the Democrats to handle the issue.
Republicans also hold a two-point advantage when voters are asked who they trust more to handle illegal immigration.
A poll from earlier this summer found that an increasing share of Americans want a decrease in immigration. Forty-one percent of respondents said that they wanted immigration to decrease. A whopping 67 percent of Republican voters want immigration decreased, the poll found.
Recent polling from NBC News found that immigration was one of the top issues for likely voters in the midterms while a poll from Morning Consult also found that it is a top issue.
Encouraging both legal and illegal mass immigration continues to be a primary aim for both politicians and organizations on the left. Breitbart News previously revealed that the wealthy Ford Foundation poured an astonishing $114 million into organizations that push for mass immigration and amnesty.
Breitbart News also revealed that George Soros’s Open Society Foundation dumped millions of dollars into organizations that encourage illegal immigration and amnesty.
BORDER TOWN USA: Fugitive Migrant Arrested for Child Sex Offense in Michigan
Detroit Sector Border Patrol agents arrested two previously deported Mexican nationals in a targeted operation late last week. One suspect is a 38-year-old criminal alien wanted in Michigan for Criminal Sexual Conduct with a Person Under Thirteen, officials stated.
Agents assigned to the Detroit Border Patrol Station on October 27 gathered intelligence regarding the location of a fugitive migrant, according to information obtained from U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials. Agents carried out the operation and arrested the 38-year-old Mexican national who has four previous deportations on record.
The agents found the criminal alien near Interstate 75 and Walton Boulevard in Auburn Hills, Michigan.
The agents placed the 38-year-old with an active warrant for Criminal Sexual Conduct with a Person Under Thirteen out of Oakland County, Michigan. The agents turned the man over to the Oakland County Fugitive Apprehension Team.
During the operation, the agents also found a 42-year-old who had previously been deported. They placed the Mexican national under arrest for illegal re-entry after removal, a federal felony.
Both men could be charged with felony illegal re-entry after removal in addition to any other crimes they may have committed. If convicted of the immigration felony, each could spend up to 20 years in federal prison.
“Detroit Sector remains vigilant against threats to our community and national security,’ Detroit Sector Chief Patrol Agent Robert Danley said in a written statement. “I am extremely proud of the agents who took these criminals off the street and assisted Oakland County in their pursuit of justice for such a serious predatory offense involving a child. Detroit Sector will continue to work with our law enforcement partners to ensure our communities are safe.”
U.S. Border Patrol Chief Raul Ortiz reported that during FY22, which ended on September 30, Border Patrol agents arrested 949 migrants with active wants or warrants. The apprehension of more than 2.2 million migrants also included the arrests of 12,028 with criminal histories and 751 gang members.
Massachusetts Towns Blindsided by Migrant Relocations Without Notice from State
Leaders of two Massachusetts towns spoke out late last week about the arrival of migrants being transported in with no advance notice. State officials transported the migrants into their towns without giving any warning to local officials.
Community leaders from the Massachusetts coastal communities of Kingston (population 13,000) and Plymouth (population 61,000) held a press conference late last week to complain that state officials gave them no warning before placing dozens of migrants into their towns without notice, the Boston Herald reported.
“A heads up would have been nice,” Kingston Town Administrator Keith Hickey told the Herald. He expressed his frustration about the lack of notice from the state’s Department of Housing and Community Development.
Kingston residents lined the streets to express their displeasure regarding the relocation of migrants into their communities.
Hickey said he did receive notice on October 21 that the state was placing nine migrants in need of emergency housing into a Kingston hotel — immediately. That number rose to more than 100 by the following Monday morning.
The migrants included mostly non-English speaking Haitian migrants including 64 children, the Boston newspaper stated.
Town Manager Derek Brindisi told the Boston newspaper that state officials contacted him last Tuesday to expect the immediate placement of migrants into 27 hotel rooms — eight migrant families. Brindisi said the state told them to expect 16 more migrant families in the coming weeks.
“We would have hoped that we could have been part of the planning process early on, so that this would have been a more seamless transition into our community,” Brindisi told reporters at a press conference.
In contrast, the town of Normandy, Texas, (population 29) received the unexpected crossing of approximately 300 migrants on Tuesday morning — in a single border crossing event, Breitbart Texas reported. While some of these migrants will be returned to Mexico under Title 42 authority, many will be released without notice into the city of Eagle Pass, Texas, which has a population of only 29,000. More than 1,000 migrants arrive in this border community on a daily basis — all without notice.
Massasachuttes State Representative Mathew Muratore told town leaders to expect more of the placement of migrants into their communities during the coming months.
“This is not going to end here,” he stated.
State officials warned they would likely not be able to move the migrants to longer-term housing until the end of the year.
CBS Poll: Voters Say Democrats Favor Migrants over Americans
A majority of American voters believe Democrats put the interests of migrants ahead of Americans, while Republicans put Americans first, according to a CBS poll of 2,119 registered voters.
“What an absolute terrible poll result for Democrats,” Republican consultant Ryan Girdusky tweeted on October 30:
The poll also showed that 59 percent of all voters, and 61 percent of independents, say Democrats will “open the U.S.-Mexican border” if they keep control of Congress in 2023. Twenty percent of liberals and 27 percent of Democrats say their party will open the borders.
The pre-election poll comes after President Joe Biden’s deputies imported at least 3 million foreign workers, immigrants, and illegal immigrants. In 2022, for example, he imported at least seven migrants for every 10 births. Biden’s migration is unfairly pressuring down Americans’ wages. It is also boosting rents and housing prices, and is pushing up inflation for a wide variety of goods, such as used autos and food.
CBS News reported the results of the October 26-28 poll:
Republican messaging on immigration is resonating with some voters. By three to one, [polled] voters think Democrats put the interests of recent immigrants first rather than prioritizing the interests of current U.S. citizens, among those who think the party takes a side between the two. And a majority [of voters] think the Democrats would “open the U.S. Mexico border.” Those holding this view are voting Republican in big numbers.
The poll’s cross tabs also show that independents think Democrats favor migrants over Americans:
Fifty-two percent of election-deciding swing-voting independents told CBS that Democrats put immigrants ahead of Americans. So did 10 percent of Democrats and 77 percent of Republicans.
In contrast, just 5 percent of independents say that Republicans put immigrants ahead of Americans. Just 9 percent of Democrats, and 6 percent of Republicans, say the GOP puts immigrants ahead of U.S. citizens.
Extraction Migration
It is easier for government officials to grow the economy by immigration than by growing exports, productivity, or the birth rate.
So the federal government deliberately stimulates low-wage business by extracting millions of migrants from poor countries to serve as extra workers, consumers, and renters.
This Extraction Migration policy shifts vast wealth from ordinary people to investors, billionaires, and Wall Street. It makes it difficult for ordinary Americans to advance in their careers, get married, raise families, buy homes, or gain wealth.
Extraction Migration slows innovation and shrinks Americans’ productivity. This happens because migration allows employers to boost stock prices by using stoop labor and disposable workers instead of the skilled American professionals and productivity-boosting technology that earlier allowed Americans and their communities to earn more money.
Many polls show the public wants to welcome some immigration. But the polls also show deep and broad public opposition to labor migration and to the inflow of temporary contract workers into the jobs needed by the families of blue-collar and white-collar Americans.
This “Third Rail” opposition is growing, anti-establishment, multiracial, cross-sex, non-racist, class-based, bipartisan, rational, persistent, and recognizes the solidarity that American citizens owe to one another.
Republican Blake Masters: The Democrats ‘Don’t Believe in Borders’
The “modern radicals” in the Democrat Party “don’t believe in borders,” Republican Senate candidate Blake Masters said in a sit-down interview with Fox 10’s John Hook.
The Republican Senate candidate from Arizona told Hook, “I don’t think the modern left and modern radicals running the Democratic Party, the people who tell Mark Kelly what to think, the people who are really running Biden’s White House, I don’t think they believe in America.”
Masters added, “I think they’re ashamed of it. That’s why they pushed the 1619 history curriculum on our children. They don’t believe in borders, they don’t believe in sovereignty.”
When asked why he was qualified to be the next U.S. Senator from Arizona, Masters discussed his business record, saying “I’ve succeeded in business. You know, I wrote the number one best selling book on startup entrepreneurship innovation this century, actually. … I’ve worked with Peter Thiel. So I’ve seen innovation firsthand.”
He also said that he’s seen “how the government can get in the way and really just destroy things. Now it’s something that we’re experiencing every day under Joe Biden and Mark Kelly’s so-called leadership.”
“But really, I think we need to get back to the citizen statesman model,” Masters contended.
“I think Arizona, we’re all going in the wrong direction in the last two years. I mean, crime is up, open borders, inflation, fentanyl … double digit inflation. And I knew that I could get in this race and beat Mark Kelly, and actually put a check on Joe Biden,” Masters went on to say.
“I think that’s qualification enough. I’m actually going to care about the people of Arizona. That’s not something I see in so many of our leaders today,” Masters added.
Masters is running against Democrat incumbent Mark Kelly in the midterm elections. Kelly has consistently voted against border security despite representing a border state that is disproportionately affected by illegal immigration.

400 Migrants Cross Border into Texas — 60 Arrested for Trespassing
Texas Department of Public Safety troopers arrested 60 migrants for trespassing on a ranch near the border. The arrested migrants came from a group of 400 who illegally crossed near Normandy, Texas, over the weekend.
Texas DPS spokesman Lt. Christopher Oliverez tweeted photos from a group of 80 migrants arrested by troopers for criminal trespass. The arrests came as a group of more than 400 migrants forced their way under a border fence along the Rio Grande.
Included in the Olivarez tweet is a link to a report from Fox News reporter Nate Foy. Foy’s video shows the carnage left behind where a group of 400 migrants used a belt to pull back the border barrier so they could crawl under the fence and enter the U.S.
The video includes dramatic nighttime drone video showing the stream of more than 400 migrants coming across the river and entering Texas. By breaking though the border fencing erected by Texas National Guardsmen under Governor Greg Abbott’s Operation Lone Star, the migrants committed a state crime of criminal trespass.
This is the legal basis for DPS troopers to arrest the 80 migrants taken into custody. Olivarez implied that more would have been arrested but for overcrowding in local jails due to the large number of arrests of migrants violating state law.
The video also illustrates the smugglers’ tactic of engaging DPS troopers in high-speed pursuits.

Massachusetts Gov. Asks Other States to Fund Its Illegal Workers and Renters
Massachusetts’ governor wants Americans in other states to fund food and shelter for the several thousand illegal migrants sent by the federal government to cheap-labor employers and high-rent landlords in the Old Colony State.
The state’s establishment-Republican governor, Charles Baker, is welcoming the illegal migrants. But he also asked the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) on October 31 to fund many of the poor migrants who cannot earn enough wages to pay the high rents demanded by the state’s landlords.
“I write to ask for urgent federal government assistance for the resettlement of immigrant families arriving in Massachusetts,” Baker wrote, adding:
In federal fiscal year 2022, the Massachusetts-based resettlement agencies served a total of 4,334 individuals, including over 2,000 Afghan Humanitarian Parolees, 822 Cuban and Haitian Entrants, and 548 refugees.
…
Cuban and Haitian Entrants, Amerasians, Asylees, and Certified Victims of Human Trafficking are not eligible for the dedicated refugee resettlement services funds provided to refugees under the Department of States’ Reception and Placement program and to Afghan and Ukrainian Humanitarian Parolees under [federal] Refugee Support Services. And immigrants that elect Temporary Protected Status or apply for asylum are wholly ineligible for … federal benefits.
Baker also wants the illegal migrants to be put to work as soon as possible, saying:
A faster path to legal employment would not only provide these individuals with a path to self-sustainability but would also aid Massachusetts employers who are eager to hire amidst the current workforce shortage … I ask that DHS and USCIS redouble their efforts to speed the provision of employment authorization.
The state’s Democratic-run legislature recently passed an unpopular law offering driver’s licenses to illegal workers. The state’s voters, however, can reverse that law if they win a ballot measure on election day.
Baker’s request for cash echoes the demands made by New York’s government for federal aid to feed and shelter its flow of wage-cutting, rent-spiking illegal migrants into New Yorkers’ workplaces and neighborhoods.
“We expect to spend at least $1 billion by the end of the fiscal year on this crisis, all because we have a functional and compassionate system,” New York Mayor Eric Adams said on October 7. “We need help — and we need to now,” he said.
Many city leaders welcome poor migrants — legal and illegal — because the migrants help local businesses by cutting wages, inflating real-estate rents, and boosting local sales.
For example, several “sanctuary cities” in Massachusetts help shield illegal migrants from federal immigration agencies.
In October, Breitbart News reported on the indictments of a labor-trafficking ring that has apparently operated undisturbed for many years in Massachusetts. “SOI-3 was smuggled into the United States from Brazil in 2021 by CHELBE [Moraes] and other Target Subjects,” the indictment says, adding:
SOI-3 [a migrant] worked for JESSE [Moraes] at TASTE OF BRAZIL [restaurant] for approximately six months. SOI-3 never received a paycheck from JESSE for their work during that period. SOI-3 said that JESSE [the employer] was demanding and verbally abusive to SOI-3 during the time that they worked for JESSE.
Nationwide, President Joe Biden’s deputies have extracted at least 3 million illegal migrants from poor countries and then delivered them into Americans’ housing markets and workplaces. This Extraction Migration policy has a huge impact on Americans’ wages and wealth.
The extra imported labor ensures that local employers do not have to raise wages amid a normal shortage of workers. The extra labor also means that employers do not have to trim their profits to buy the labor-saving machinery that helps Americans get paid more for doing more work each day.
The extra workers also consume more food and products from retailers and also allow landlords to raise rents. The rents can be raised partly because the poor economic migrants rationally cut their costs by sleeping in overcrowded apartments that otherwise would have to be rented to one-income American families.
The supply of imported workers also allows New York and Boston investors to disregard unemployed and underpaid Americans in other states, such as Alabama, Oklahoma, Nevada, and Nebraska. The result is that ordinary Americans in those states subsidize the coastal cities’ use of illegals — and then get fewer jobs in exchange.
In Massachusetts, some local government officials and voters are protesting the federal government’s policy of smuggling more illegal migrants into the state. Breitbart News reported on November 1:
Community leaders from the Massachusetts coastal communities of Kingston (population 13,000) and Plymouth (population 61,000) held a press conference late last week to complain that state officials gave them no warning before placing dozens of migrants into their towns and schools without notice, the Boston Herald reported.
…
[Kingston Town Administrator Keith] Hickey said he did receive notice on October 21 that the state was placing nine migrants in need of emergency housing into a Kingston hotel — immediately.
Local Americans protested the government-funded, wealth-shifting migration — but choose to hide their identity for fear of retaliation by pro-migration employers:
The establishment media tends to paint migration as a blue-collar issue while pressuring white-collar Americans to display their support of the wealth-shifting policy.
However, the irony is that migration may have the largest impact on white-collar Americans because their salaries and careers are shriveled by the massive inflow of cliquish legal immigrants and visa workers.
Moreover, many white-collar professionals pay inflated housing prices to keep their few children out of the diverse, government-run public schools that they applaud in public.
Extraction Migration
It is difficult for government officials to grow the economy by raising exports, productivity, or the birth rate. So the federal government instead widens the economy by extracting millions of migrants from poor countries to serve as extra workers, consumers, and renters.
This policy floods the labor market and so it shifts vast wealth from ordinary people to investors, billionaires, and Wall Street. It also makes it difficult for ordinary Americans to advance in their careers, get married, raise families, buy homes, or gain wealth.
Extraction Migration slows innovation and shrinks Americans’ productivity. This happens because migration allows employers to boost stock prices by using stoop labor and disposable workers instead of the skilled American professionals and productivity-boosting technology that earlier allowed Americans and their communities to earn more money.
JOE BIDEN = SABOTAGE OF HOMELAND SECURITY!
Since April, Abbott, along with the city officials in El Paso, Texas, and Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey (R) have bused more than 19,400 border crossers and illegal aliens to New York City — the Democrat-controlled metropolis that prides itself on being a sanctuary jurisdiction.
Illegal Aliens, Released into U.S. by Biden’s DHS, Linked to Robbery Gang in Sanctuary State New York
Illegal aliens, released into the United States interior by President Joe Biden’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS), are now linked to a South American robbery gang targeting Indian Americans in Long Island, New York.
Three illegal aliens from Colombia — 20-year-old Brayan Alexis Ortiz-Ramos, 30-year-old Daniel Esteban Jimenez-Carrillo, and 33-year-old Gersson Jhoan Hernandez-Gomez — have been arrested and charged with second-degree burglary as a hate crime and conspiracy after allegedly burglarizing 20 to 30 homes in Long Island’s Indian American neighborhoods.
“What we have here is a complete failure of leadership in Washington,” Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman (R) said at a news conference. “These individuals should never have been allowed to make their way into the United States. They were caught at the border, and rather than be detained, they were let go so that they could wreak havoc on communities across the United States.”
A fourth suspect, 20-year-old Justin Mora-Soto, was born in the U.S. but has spent much of his life in Colombia where his wife and children still live.
New York imposes one of the most rigorous sanctuary state policies in the U.S. — shielding illegal aliens who enter law enforcement custody from being turned over to the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency for arrest and deportation.
According to the Nassau County Police Department, the four suspects targeted Indian Americans in Hicksville, Bethpage, New Hyde Park, and Levittown across Long Island by following them home from stores and scoping out their properties before burglarizing them.
All three illegal aliens are among the 1.35 million border crossers and illegal aliens who have been released directly into the U.S. interior by Biden’s DHS from February 2021 to August 2022.
In March, Ortiz-Ramos was apprehended along the U.S.-Mexico border near San Lis, Arizona before being released from custody and given an immigration court date set for July 2023.
Meanwhile, Jimenez-Carrillo was apprehended at the U.S.-Mexico border near San Ysidro, California in June and subsequently released into the U.S. interior without any scheduled immigration court proceedings.
In June 2021, just months after Biden took office, Hernandez-Gomez was apprehended at the U.S.-Mexico border near Hidalgo, Texas. He was released into the U.S. interior while being placed into deportation proceedings.
In Mora-Soto’s case, he would still be in jail if not for New York’s “No Bail” law that allows suspects accused of property and many violent crimes to walk free only a couple of hours after having been arrested without ever having to pay bail.
Mora-Soto was arrested and charged with second-degree menacing and criminal possession of a weapon on September 15 but was quickly released thanks to the No Bail law. He did not show up to his subsequent court date in the case.
“Unless our elected officials in Washington get the message and understand that this open border policy is a disaster, unless our state officials understand that the cashless bail laws are a disaster, our communities are going to be less safe,” Blakeman said. “Criminals are going to have more rights than victims, and that’s a disgrace, it’s a failure of leadership on all levels.”
The South American burglary gang in Long Island is only the latest across the U.S. where foreign nationals and illegal aliens are arriving only to commit crimes against Americans before returning home.
As Breitbart News has chronicled, South Americans arriving on B-2 tourist visas have been flying into California with the sole purpose of burglarizing wealthy residents in Ventura County.
Likewise, in Washington, DC, illegal aliens from South America have been operating a similar home burglary gang that targets the region’s wealthy Asian community.

Data: 73% of Migrants Bused to New York City Are in Homeless Shelters
The overwhelming majority of border crossers and illegal aliens bused to New York City from Texas by Gov. Greg Abbott (R) remain in the city’s homeless shelter system which is “nearing a breaking point,” according to Mayor Eric Adams (D).
The latest city data published by CNN reveals that more than 14,100 border crossers and illegal aliens bused to New York City remain in homeless shelters, indicating that 73 percent are not leaving the shelters after they arrive.
Adams, a proponent of the city’s sanctuary policy, is now warning New Yorkers that “the city is going to run out of funding for other priorities” and they may end up footing a $1 billion bill if the inflow of illegal immigration does not stop.
“This is unsustainable,” Adams said last week while declaring a state of emergency just as Democrat Gov. Kathy Hochul calls on the National Guard to help deal with the inflow.
Mayor Eric Adams / FacebookThe arrival of the world’s poor at New York City’s doorstep has immensely strained its homeless shelter system. Last week, the city’s shelters housed more than 62,500 people — a record high.
The figure indicates that more than 2-in-10 homeless shelter residents arrived on migrant buses from Texas and Arizona. New York City officials, currently, see no end in sight for the inflow.
“Our shelter system is now operating near 100 percent capacity,” Adams said. “And if these trends continue, we’ll be over 100,000 in the year to come. That’s far more than the system was ever designed to handle.”
While rents and housing costs skyrocket for New Yorkers, Adams has started building a tent city for arriving border crossers and illegal aliens on the secluded Randall’s Island. The Democrat mayor is also considering chartering a cruise ship to house border crossers and illegal aliens.
