FLEEING MEXIFORNIA - THE NAFTA DEMOCRATS' FAILED MEXICAN WELFARE STATE - 300,000 People Moved Out of California from 2021 to 2022, Most of Any State

As Breitbart News has reported, U.S. households headed by foreign-born residents use nearly twice the welfare of households headed by native-born Americans.

THE LA RAZA WELFARE STATE IN CA COST LEGALS $35 BILLION PER YEAR FACTORING STATE AND COUNTY WELFARE AND SOCIAL SERVICES FOR ILLEGALS. There is a reason why they invade CA.

The state, of course, is bleeding productive people who form the tax base, with tens of thousands fleeing to states such as Florida where they won't be taxed and regulated to death, leaving California with fewer taxpayers and more indigents who have no reason to leave, while the tech downturn has cut another huge chunk out of the tax base as workers in those industries experience mass layoffs. The state is now sporting a $25 billion budget deficit at a time when they had expected a $100 billion surplus. As Ernest Hemingway reputedly said when asked how bankruptcy happens: "Gradually, then suddenly."

Want some perspective on why so many blue sanctuary cities have so many homeless encampments hovering around?

Bottom line, all of these new services for illegal border crossers are bonanzas, not just for the NGOs who benefit, they are benefits for human smuggling rackets, who can now advertise these wares as part of their illegal alien benefit packages and use the news of them to draw more business. Biden is helping that bunch ultimately with these free-hotel contracts even Americans in distress don't get. Cartels will use this incentive to drum up more business.

Many Democrats understand that the welfare checks for foreign children will encourage more illegal immigration, he said:

They know what’s going on. But they know that they can’t say what their true goal is, which is actual open borders with open, uncontrolled migration both ways. And this is a step toward getting rid of borders.

“It’s a globalist mindset and it welcomes anything that moves toward open borders,” he concluded.

(They really have absolutely no idea how many illegals are in the country as the Democrat Party, U.S. Chamber of Commerce, La Raza/ UnidoUS, Mexico and the Catholic Church thwart any effort to count them

The suggestion comes as the U.S. population  has increased to the highest total in

history,  hitting 331,893,745 residents in 2021,  driven mostly by legal immigration.

For  comparison, the population in 1970 stood  at 203 million residents.

The U.S. Census Bureau reported Thursday that 300,000 people left California in 2022, more than left any other state, amid a general slow increase in the U.S. population as the country recovered from COVID-19.

The estimates cover the period from July 2021 to July 2022.

It was the third consecutive annual decline for California, the Sacramento Bee noted, though births outnumbered deaths.

The U.S. population grew by about 1.3 million people, thanks largely to the arrival of over 1 million migrants:

After a historically low rate of change between 2020 and 2021, the U.S. resident population increased by 0.4%, or 1,256,003, to 333,287,557 in 2022, according to the U.S. Census Bureau’s Vintage 2022 national and state population estimates and components of change released today.

Net international migration — the number of people moving in and out of the country — added 1,010,923 people between 2021 and 2022 and was the primary driver of growth. This represents 168.8% growth over 2021 totals of 376,029 – an indication that migration patterns are returning to pre-pandemic levels. Positive natural change (births minus deaths) increased the population by 245,080.

Internally, the South grew the most, thanks to migration from other states, with Florida growing the fastest, followed by Texas and North Carolina. (California, New York, and Illinois lost the most residents.) The Northeast and Midwest lost residents, thanks to outward migration, and the West gained residents, largely through natural growth (births) — overcoming the drag of California’s net losses.

International migration had a nationwide effect: “All 50 states and the District of Columbia saw positive net international migration with California (125,715), Florida (125,629) and Texas (118,614) having the largest gains,” the Census reported.

All of a sudden, Gavin Newsom notices that open borders will 'break' California

So much for "you're all welcome in California," as California's former leftist governor, Jerry Brown, memorably advised incoming illegals.

With the ending of Title 42 on Dec. 21, which permitted the expulsion of so-called asylum seekers on pandemic grounds, Brown's leftist successor, Gavin Newsom, is saying something else.

According to Fox News:

Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom of California warned Monday that President Biden's plan to reverse former President Donald Trump's border policies could "break" his state.

The Biden administration is planning to lift the Trump-era Title 42 policy, which allows police and border officers to expedite the expulsion of illegal immigrants.

Newsom, speaking to ABC News on Monday, said, "The fact is, what we’ve got right now is not working and is about to break in a post-42 world unless we take some responsibility and ownership.

By official estimates, 14,000 illegal border crossers are expected to enter the U.S. claiming asylum per day once the pandemic prevention measure is dropped.

Illegal border crossers are now rolling in from more than 100 nations with the border areas of Mexico beginning to fill with people awaiting the Dec. 21 starting bell. Just the communist hellhole Cuba is reportedly expected to literally empty out, according to the New York Times.

This has been going on for some time now, and all of a sudden Newsom is concerned, which is weird stuff.

It's kind of laughable, given that California already has invited them in and currently houses a quarter of the nation's illegals, based on its banquet of benefits, including free tuition, free health care, free housing, free guaranteed incomes, stimulus checks, COVID relief checks and other free stuff, no legal entry required.

Newsom claimed the U.S. government is sending "more and more" migrants to California because the state is "taking care of folks."

"The more we do, the burden is placed disproportionate on us," he said.

"We're already at capacity at nine of our sites," Newsom continued. "We can't continue to fund all of these sites because of the budgetary pressures now being placed on this state and the offsetting issues that I have to address.… The reality is, unless we're doing what we're doing, people will end up on the streets."

Maybe if you take that cheese out of that mouse trap, Gavin, they will go someplace else.

It's an interesting switch, because Newsom and his predecessors have been such loud advocates for free stuff and equal rights for illegals.

I suspect that one reason Florida's Gov. Ron DeSantis and Texas's Gov. Greg Abbott didn't bus or fly their groups of illegals to California is that they suspected there would be no screaming about it, the way there was in Chicago, Washington, New York, and Martha's Vineyard, which drew a lot of publicity to the matter, important publicity because the migrants were indeed costing those states billions and the mainstream media was not covering the issue.

That's exactly the argument that Newsom is making now.

So now we learn that he has some kind of concern about spending, another thing that comes as a surprise, and it seems that the $1 billion California has spent on illegals, as cited by Fox News (I think the amount is bigger) is too much and someone else's state needs to take these illegals. Good luck with that, Gav -- try busing them to a conservative state and see what the voters say.

Economics alone may be driving his statement.

But there are other things, too. One, the complaints from other Democrats in Washington, D.C., New York, Chicago, and Martha's Vineyard give Newsom a lot of cover from the politically correct crowd which hails immigrants without distinguishing legal from illegal, ll as purely beneficial to America. Voters know that that's not true, so now Newsom is stating the obvious.

It may be that a new Democrat narrative has been crafted and Newsom is going along with that narrative as he always does.

Two, Newsom is a likely candidate to attempt a run for president in 2024, despite his claims that he has no such intentions. When he made that statement, he qualified it as being behind Joe Biden all the way were he to choose to run. It may well be that his doddering mental faculties may prevent that or trigger a place coup, or, he may die in office.

Speaking out against the high cost of illegal immigration is a mainstream position that appeals to voters of all stripes. That he's doing it now suggests he expects Biden to drop out of the 2024 race, and that he has a plan to seek the White House when Biden does.

It's a mixture of cynicism and disingenuousness. No wonder this guy is known as Joe Isuzu among the locals.

(CNSNews.com) - The federal government should pay more for the "humane treatment of asylum-seekers," Sen. Alex Padilla (D-Calif.) told ABC's "This Week" on Sunday.

"[I]t is lawful for someone...fleeing violence, fleeing poverty, fleeing for their lives to come to the United States seeking asylum, and it's our obligation to consider that and make a determination," Padilla said.

"I appreciate (California) Governor Newsom's frustration. He and I spoke just a couple of days ago. The state of California, I think, is a prime example. More than a billion dollars of state funds going into humanitarian assistance for asylum seekers.

"When they come to the United States while they wait for their hearing, do they deserve some basic food and shelter and health screening? Absolutely. And, frankly, the federal government should be investing more in that humane treatment of asylum seekers."

Host Martha Raddatz asked Padilla, "What do you think will happen when [Title 42] is lifted?"

"Well, look, the Biden administration has been preparing for months now for Title 42 to be lifted, not just because the courts have dictated that, but as you mentioned in a prior segment, Title 42 is not immigration policy. Title 42 was put in place at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic as health policy. Even then I disagreed, but that's what brought Title 42 to bear.

"We're in a much different place when it comes to COVID today than we were two, almost three years ago. So it's past time for Title 42 to be gone."

Eventually, Padilla admitted that the situation at the border will be a "challenge" when Title 42 is lifted on Wednesday:

"But let's understand why it is such a challenge, because the prior administration starved the very departments and agencies of the resources they need, not just to patrol the border but to process these lawful asylum claims. And...that's the reason individuals, or even families are coming across the border" (to claim asylum).

"Again, most Americans understand and appreciate there are people who want to come to the United States for a number of reasons..."

Padilla said the U.S. should invest more in border safety and security -- but he rejected security measures such as a wall:

"The years we lost to the build-the-wall debate was foolish. We know that whether it's migrants, whether it's, you know, whatever the Republicans are afraid of, contraband, et cetera comes primarily through ports of entry. And so that's got to be the first and foremost focus on border safety dollars."

The current chaos is occurring in-between ports of entry, where migrants are crossing illegally by the hundreds daily.

Become an illegal alien to the US! Win big prizes, get free stuff — with no taxes

By Ethel C. Fenig

Are you almost broke because of medical bills?  Does your job, that you're lucky to have, leave you so exhausted that you have no time or patience for your family?  Are federal and local taxes grabbing an ever larger part of your income, reducing your after-tax income?  Do you want to move to another part of the country with better professional opportunities, proximity to family, pleasanter weather, and/or lower taxes but can't afford the expense?  Does the lawyer you hired to fight the ticket for going over 5 miles above the limit charge more than the ticket you can't afford?  Did you commit a minor crime as a teenager years ago, repent, but still find it difficult to get a job or decent housing because of this stain on your record?  Are you having trouble with tuition payments for the school that offers the best training for your dream job that will pay you a living wage? Did you lose a job to a much less qualified special minority?

If you answered yes to any of the above questions, help is on the way!  Do I have a deal for you!  Become an illegal alien to the United States, and all these problems — and more! — are solved!  Free!

What?  Yes, it is that easy if declared president Joe R. Biden (D) and friends have their way.

The United States could pay for transportation, healthcare, legal services, and career and educational services for migrants separated under former President Donald Trump's "zero tolerance" border strategy, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) said on Monday.

The announcement is part of a list of principles released by the administration of U.S. President Joe Biden to guide its family reunification task force as the administration seeks to reunite more than 500 migrant children and parents separated by his predecessor's border policy.

The Biden administration will also consider bringing deported parents back to the United States, an option outlined in Biden's Feb. 2 executive order creating the family reunification task force.

See how easy it is, you hardworking sucker.

"But, but who will pay for this?" you might wonder.  Why, all the legal citizens of the U.S., both native-born and (legal) immigrants who patiently waited for permission to arrive in this country, who work hard to pay taxes to support themselves and their families.

"What's the catch,?" you might dubiously ask.  None!  The catch — and the taxes to pay for all of this — belong to all the legal citizens of the U.S.

This white-skinned daughter of legal, hardworking Jewish immigrants who honored and privileged me as their parents and who pays more than her fair share of taxes but doesn't get the equivalent in return except for the honor of living in the United States, and thus unfairly suffers from inequity, is seriously thinking about legally becoming illegal.

It's only fair.  And equal.

A DACA amnesty would put more citizen children of illegal aliens — known as “anchor babies” — on federal welfare, as Breitbart News reported, while American taxpayers would be left potentially with a $26 billion bill.

Additionally, about one-in-five DACA illegal aliens, after an amnesty, would end up on food stamps, while at least one-in-seven would go on Medicaid. JOHN BINDER

THE NEW PRIVILEGED CLASS: Illegals!

This is why you work From Jan - May paying taxes to the government ....with the rest of the calendar year is money for you and your family.

Take, for example, an illegal alien with a wife and five children. He takes a job for $5.00 or 6.00/hour. At that wage, with six dependents, he pays no income tax, yet at the end of the year, if he files an Income Tax Return, with his fake Social Security number, he gets an "earned income credit" of up to $3,200..... free.

He qualifies for Section 8 housing and subsidized rent.

He qualifies for food stamps.

He qualifies for free (no deductible, no co-pay) health care.

His children get free breakfasts and lunches at school.

He requires bilingual teachers and books.

He qualifies for relief from high energy bills.

If they are or become, aged, blind or disabled, they qualify for SSI.

Once qualified for SSI they can qualify for Medicare. All of this is at (our) taxpayer's expense.

He doesn't worry about car insurance, life insurance, or homeowners insurance.

Taxpayers provide Spanish language signs, bulletins and printed material.

He and his family receive the equivalent of $20.00 to $30.00/hour in benefits.

Working Americans are lucky to have $5.00 or $6.00/hour left after Paying their bills and his.

The American taxpayers also pay for increased crime, graffiti and trash clean-up.

As Breitbart News has reported, U.S. households headed by foreign-born residents use nearly twice the welfare of households headed by native-born Americans.

Simultaneously, illegal immigration next year is on track to soar to the highest level in a decade, with a potential 600,000 border crossers expected.

ExclusiveSteve Camarota: Every Illegal Alien Costs Americans $70K Over Their Lifetime

https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2019/04/11/exclusive-steve-camarota-every-illegal-alien-costs-americans-70k-over-their-lifetime/

JOHN BINDER

Every illegal alien, over the course of their lifetime, costs American taxpayers about $70,000, Center for Immigration Studies Director of Research Steve Camarota says.

During an interview with SiriusXM Patriot’s Breitbart News Daily, Camarota said his research has revealed the enormous financial burden that illegal immigration has on America’s working and middle class taxpayers in terms of public services, depressed wages, and welfare.

“In a person’s lifetime, I’ve estimated that an illegal border crosser might cost taxpayers … maybe over $70,000 a year as a net cost,” Camarota said. “And that excludes the cost of their U.S.-born children, which gets pretty big when you add that in.”

LISTEN:

“Once [an illegal alien] has a child, they can receive cash welfare on behalf of their U.S.-born children,” Camarota explained. “Once they have a child, they can live in public housing. Once they have a child, they can receive food stamps on behalf of that child. That’s how that works.”

Camarota said the education levels of illegal aliens, border crossers, and legal immigrants are largely to blame for the high level of welfare usage by the f0reign-born population in the U.S., noting that new arrivals tend to compete for jobs against America’s poor and working class communities.

In past waves of mass immigration, Camarota said, the U.S. did not have an expansive welfare system. Today’s ever-growing welfare system, coupled with mass illegal and legal immigration levels, is “extremely problematic,” according to Camarota, for American taxpayers.

The RAISE Act — reintroduced in the Senate by Senators Tom Cotton (R-AR), David Perdue (R-GA), and Josh Hawley (R-MO) — would cut legal immigration levels in half and convert the immigration system to favor well-educated foreign nationals, thus relieving American workers and taxpayers of the nearly five-decade-long wave of booming immigration. Currently, mass legal immigration redistributes the wealth of working and middle class Americans to the country’s top earners.

“Virtually none of that existed in 1900 during the last great wave of immigration, when we also took in a number of poor people. We didn’t have a well-developed welfare state,” Camarota continued:

We’re not going to stop [the welfare state] tomorrow. So in that context, bringing in less educated people who are poor is extremely problematic for public coffers, for taxpayers in a way that it wasn’t in 1900 because the roads weren’t even paved between the cities in 1900. It’s just a totally different world. And that’s the point of the RAISE Act is to sort of bring in line immigration policy with the reality say of a large government … and a welfare state. [Emphasis added]

The immigrants are not all coming to get welfare and they don’t immediately sign up, but over time, an enormous fraction sign their children up. It’s likely the case that of the U.S.-born children of illegal immigrants, more than half are signed up for Medicaid — which is our most expensive program. [Emphasis added]

As Breitbart News has reported, U.S. households headed by foreign-born residents use nearly twice the welfare of households headed by native-born Americans.

Every year the U.S. admits more than 1.5 million foreign nationals, with the vast majority deriving from chain migration. In 2017, the foreign-born population reached a record high of 44.5 million. By 2023, the Center for Immigration Studies estimates that the legal and illegal immigrant population of the U.S. will make up nearly 15 percent of the entire U.S. population.

Another line they cut into: Illegals get free public housing as impoverished Americans wait

Want some perspective on why so many blue sanctuary cities have so many homeless encampments hovering around?

Try the reality that illegal immigrants are routinely given free public housing by the U.S., based on the fact that they are uneducated, unskilled, and largely unemployable. Those are the criteria, and now importing poverty has never been easier. Shockingly, this comes as millions of poor Americans are out in the cold awaiting that housing that the original law was intended to help.

Thus, the tent cities, and by coincidence, the worst of these emerging shantytowns are in blue sanctuary cities loaded with illegal immigrants - Orange County, San Francisco, San Diego, Seattle, New York...Is there a connection? At a minimum, it's worth looking at.

The Trump administration's Department of Housing and Urban Development is finally trying to put a stop to it as 1.5 million illegals prepare to enter the U.S. this year, and one can only wonder why they didn't do it yesterday.

According to a report in the Washington Times:

The plan would scrap Clinton-era regulations that allowed illegal immigrants to sign up for assistance without having to disclose their status.

Under the new Trump rules, not only would the leaseholder using public housing have to be an eligible U.S. person, but the government would verify all applicants through the Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements (SAVE) database, a federal system that’s used to weed illegal immigrants out of other welfare programs.

Those already getting HUD assistance would have to go through a new verification, though it would be over a period of time and wouldn’t all come at once.

“We’ve got our own people to house and need to take care of our citizens,” an administration official told The Washington Times. “Because of past loopholes in HUD guidance, illegal aliens were able to live in free public housing desperately needed by so many of our own citizens. As illegal aliens attempt to swarm our borders, we’re sending the message that you can’t live off of American welfare on the taxpayers’ dime.”

The Times notes that the rules are confusingly contradictary, and some illegal immigrant families are getting full rides based on just one member being born in the U.S. The pregnant caravaner who calculatingly slipped across the U.S. in San Diego late last year, only to have her baby the next day, now, along with her entire family, gets that free ride on government housing. Plus lots of cheesy news coverage about how heartwarming it all is. That's a lot cheaper than any housing she's going to find back in Tegucigalpa.

Migrants would be almost fools not to take the offering.

The problem of course is that Americans who paid into these programs, and the subset who find themselves in dire circumstances, are in fact being shut out.

The fill-the-pews Catholic archbishops may love to tout the virtues of illegal immigrants and wave signs about getting 'justice" for them, but the hard fact here is that these foreign nationals are stealing from others as they take this housing benefit under legal technicalities. That's not a good thing under anyone's theological law. But hypocrisy is comfortable ground for the entire open borders lobby as they shamelessly celebrate lawbreaking at the border, leaving the impoverished of the U.S. out cold.

The Trump administration is trying to have this outrage fixed by summer. But don't imagine it won't be without the open-borders lawsuits, the media sob stories, the leftist judges, and the scolding clerics.

Los Angeles County Pays Over a Billion in Welfare to Illegal Aliens Over Two Years

BY MASOOMA HAQ

In 2015 and 2016, Los Angeles County paid nearly $1.3 billion in welfare funds to illegal aliens and their families. That figure amounts to 25 percent of the total spent on the county’s entire needy population, according to Fox News.

The state of California is home to more illegal aliens than any other state in the country. Approximately one in five illegal aliens lives in California, Pew reported.

Approximately a quarter of California’s 4 million illegal immigrants reside in Los Angeles County. The county allows illegal immigrant parents with children born in the United States to seek welfare and food stamp benefits.

The welfare benefits data acquired by Fox News comes from the Los Angeles County Department of Public Social Services and shows welfare and food stamp costs for the county’s entire population were $3.1 billion in 2015, $2.9 billion in 2016.

The data also shows that during the first five months of 2017, more than 60,000 families received a total of $181 million.

Over 58,000 families received a total of $602 million in benefits in 2015 and more than 64,000 families received a total of $675 million in 2016.

Robert Rector, a Heritage Foundation senior fellow who studies poverty and illegal immigration, told Fox the costs represent “the tip of the iceberg.”

“They get $3 in benefits for every $1 they spend,” Rector said. It can cost the government a total of $24,000 per year per family to pay for things like education, police, fire, medical, and subsidized housing.

In February of 2019, the Los Angeles city council signed a resolution making it a sanctuary city. The resolution did not provide any new legal protections to their immigrants, but instead solidified existing policies.

In October 2017, former California governor Jerry Brown signed SB 54 into law. This bill made California, in Brown’s own words, a “sanctuary state.” The Justice Department filed a lawsuit against the State of California over the law. A federal judge dismissed that suit in July. SB 54 took effect on Jan. 1, 2018.

According to Center for Immigration Studies, “The new law does many things: It forbids all localities from cooperating with ICE detainer notices, it bars any law enforcement officer from participating in the popular 287(g) program, and it prevents state and local police from inquiring about individuals’ immigration status.”

Some counties in California have protested its implementation and joined the Trump administration’s lawsuit against the state.

California’s campaign to provide public services to illegal immigrants did not end with the exit of Jerry Brown. His successor, Gavin Newsom, is just as focused as Brown in funding programs for illegal residents at the expense of California taxpayers.

California’s budget earmarks millions of dollars annually to the One California program, which provides free legal assistance to all aliens, including those facing deportation, and makes California’s public universities easier for illegal-alien students to attend.

According to the Fiscal Burden of Illegal Immigration on United States Taxpayers 2017 report, for the estimated 12.5 million illegal immigrants living in the country, the resulting cost is a $116 billion burden on the national economy and taxpayers each year, after deducting the $19 billion in taxes paid by some of those illegal immigrants.

Gag Order: Biden Admin Bars Border Officials From Sharing Data on Migrant Crisis

The Biden administration on Monday barred Customs and Border Protection officials from sharing information about the magnitude of illegal border crossings at the southern border without approval from the Department of Homeland Security, Breitbart reported.

The gag order points to the possible end of Title 42, a Trump-era rule that allowed agents to turn illegal immigrants away because of the pandemic, as reason to limit information coming from the border. The Biden administration's directive specifically bans CBP officials from sharing data with media outlets as tens of thousands of migrants amass at the southern border.

Such an order is unprecedented as agencies post statistics frequently, Breitbart reported:

The source, not authorized to speak to the media, says the message is intended to curb routine disclosures of migrant apprehensions near the southern border. These are generally provided by Border Patrol chief patrol agents via social media and comments to journalists. The unprecedented directive was circulated on Monday and took immediate effect.

The order was sent under the title "DHS OPA guidance on social media coordination for the lifting of Title 42." The order was later clarified to impose a ban on the direct communication with outlets or platforms regarding the release of migrant apprehension statistics without DHS approval. DHS OPA is the acronym for the Department of Homeland Security's Office of Public Affairs.

Title 42 was set to expire on Dec. 21, but Chief Justice John Roberts on Monday ordered that it temporarily stay in place. The Supreme Court will decide the rule's fate in the coming days. A repeal of Title 42 could lead to a spike in illegal immigration.

The possible end to Title 42 comes as the Biden administration oversaw a record 2.4 million encounters in the latest fiscal year. Vice President Kamala Harris on Monday blamed Republicans for the border crisis.

(CNSNews.com) - Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody said Thursday that through two years of litigation, she discovered evidence that the Biden administration “purposefully dismantled our public safety immigration structures at the border” by first stopping deportations and then doing away with the Migrant Protection Protocols, also known as Remain in Mexico.

“Well first let's start with kudos to Mike Lee for making the country and Congress realize that the sovereignty of this nation and the protection of the American people is the most important issue right now,” she told Fox Business’ “Mornings with Maria Bartiromo.”

“It is the most important issue as we enter into this new year and making sure that people realize that by juxtaposing it between whether or not this omnibus bill passes is a stroke of genius. I am so proud of him, because let me just tell you what we’re facing,” Moody said.

“Through litigation over the last two years, since Biden took office, I have uncovered so much evidence that shows this administration has purposefully dismantled our public safety immigration structures at the border. First they stopped deporting people. They do away with Remain in Mexico," she said.

“They purposefully decrease the detention capabilities at the border and then throw up their hands and say we have to release everyone because we have not enough detention capabilities which is by the way in direct violation of federal law,” Moody said.

“They’ve been doing this all along, and my greatest fear, Maria, you have probably seen leading up to this week is they are going to blame the rescission of Title 42 for the chaos and catastrophe that we're seeing at the border when in reality it began when this president was sworn in and he abdicated all responsibility for protecting the sovereignty of this nation,” she said.

Moody thanked host Maria Bartiromo for highlighting the public safety risks Americans are facing from the deadly fentanyl being smuggled in - enough to kill every American.

“When Title 42 gets rescinded you will see such an overwhelming onslaught of unvetted, inadmissible aliens rushing, surging into this country, and that is why it is right that so many people are stepping up and saying this cannot happen,” she said.

“You are correct. It’s drug smuggling. It’s human trafficking. It’s the overwhelming fentanyl in this country, but don’t forget. Just in the last year we've seen a crushing amount of those on the terrorist watch that have been intercepted,” Moody said.

“The decimation of security at our border is on the hands of this president who, by the way - and I remind your viewers - he just said when asked whether he would even go to the border, he said he had more important things to do,” she said.

Moody said that President Biden cares more about protecting Ukrainian citizens than Americans, and he deserves to be impeached for abdicating his duties.

“I'm sorry that the president of a sovereign nation, the two most important things to do are protecting your borders and your sovereignty and your people. He cares more about protecting Ukrainians and their people and their border than he does about the safety of American citizens, and I am telling you, that is the abdication of the number one duty of a president of a nation. I think it’s impeachable. It is a dereliction of duty will there be accountability,” she said.

As to whether there will be any accountability with the new Congress in January, Moody said, “You gotta hope they dig into it immediately and see what I have uncovered through litigation. Look, the only reason the American people have any idea what this administration has actually been doing, even though they’re saying this isn't happening.

“We have it under control. People aren't just walking across the border. Remember they said that. It’s because we have uncovered documents that say the opposite. When they tried to rescind Title 42 we showed that they had a plan that when the surge resulted, they would just step back and let everybody overrun them. That was their plan,” he said.

“The plan was there ain't no plan, and we’ve shown through training videos that they’ve said, we're not processing. We’re just handing a piece of paper when they come across and saying, hey just report to the ICE office wherever you intend to live, and then they’re helping ship them across the country. That is what is happening right now,” Moody said.

San Bernardino County Residents Vote to Study Secession from Far-Left California

San Bernardino County residents voted for officials to study the possibility of seceding from California as more grow increasingly tired of the state’s far-left policies.

The county approved the advisory ballot proposal, which was voted upon in November, earlier this week, the Associated Press (AP) reported. San Bernardino’s Board of Supervisors’ next step is likely to form a committee that will study if state and federal public funds were fairly distributed with local governments within the county.

Curt Hagman, the chairman of the Board of Supervisors, says there is “a lot of frustration” that San Bernardino residents have toward the left-wing governing policies of Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) and the Democrat-controlled state legislature.

Residents in the county, and across the state, pay the highest taxes in the nation while also living under soaring rates of crimehomelessness, and high housing costs.

Many are also irate over the state’s COVID-19 policies, which saw public school students forced into remote learning early in the pandemic, while the state waw one of the last to discontinue the policy. Remote learning caused considerable academic setbacks for K to 12 students within the state, including negatively impacting younger students’ learning skills, Breitbart News reported.

As a result, droves of California residents and businesses have moved to states such as Arizona, Texas, Florida, and Nevada to escape the high taxes and the volatile political climate. From 2020 to 2022, California lost over 352,000 residents, according to the state’s Department of Finance statistics.

While registered Democrat voters outnumber Republican voters by 12 points, Newsom lost San Bernardino County by five points in the November gubernatorial election. Still, the incumbent governor easily went on to win reelection.

The county is the largest by area in California and the contiguous United States, stretching from the urban regions of the City of San Bernardino to the rural areas bordering Arizona and Nevada. Moreover, it is the fifth most populace county in the Golden State, with more than two million residents.

Attempts to secede and become the 51st state in the union are unlikely, as the proposal would require approval from the Democrat state legislature and Congress.

Although Hagman noted that he does not want to secede from California, he says he understands the voters may feel alienated from Sacramento’s policies, telling the AP, “It’s been a rough few years.”

Similar calls for secession from the coastal liberal enclaves of California have been made for years. In 2017, activists filed a lawsuit to create the “State of Jefferson” from 21 counties in the northern part of the state. However, every secession attempt from the state has been unsuccessful.

Biden’s Migrants Are Displacing Americans from Homeless Shelters

Tens of thousands of economic migrants invited by President Joe Biden are displacing Americans from homeless shelters just before Christmas, according to the Wall Street Journal.

The newspaper reported on December 15 from El Paso, Texas, where the many job-seeking migrants are being released by Alejandro Mayorkas’s easy migration policies. The numbers are so high that many migrants cannot find seats in departing buses and aircraft:

John Martin, deputy director at El Paso’s Opportunity Center for the Homeless … said the Opportunity Center’s five shelters traditionally focus on the city’s local homeless population but since August have routinely housed migrants released in the city. On Wednesday, the group’s Welcome Center housed about 129 people, nearly all of whom were migrants.

“Our ideal capacity is 85,” Mr. Martin said of the Welcome Center. The nearby men’s shelter housed nearly 200 men Wednesday, about 60% of whom are migrants, in a space meant to comfortably house 100 to 120 people, he said.

Meanwhile, with shelters full, some migrants have spent the night sleeping outside as overnight temperatures have been at or below freezing this week. Migrants crowded outside bus stations Wednesday wrapped themselves in blankets provided by the Red Cross and other charities. Hundreds of others have taken to spending the night at the airport while waiting for morning flights.

Most of the migrants are single men, who are eager to take low-wage jobs, share crowded apartments, and compliantly accept abuse from employers. They migrate because U.S. jobs — many of which arebpaid in tax-free cash — pay far more money than they could earn at home and allow them to quickly pay smuggling debts and send money back to their families.

The El Paso migrants are being sent to other cities by the government-backed network of migration-support groups. The TexasStandard.org reported on December 17:

Ruben Garcia, the executive director of Annunciation House, a network of temporary shelters in El Paso for migrants and refugees, told the Texas Standard that his group sent a bus of refugees to a faith community in Kansas City, Mo., on Monday and that he had spoken with some of the people who had crossed.

“I asked them, what were the numbers like? And, you know, I heard words like ‘indescribable,’ the lines longer than you could even see,” Garcia said. “So we’re just seeing many, many refugees that are crossing the border at this particular time. And of course, it’s creating a tremendous challenge.”

The Associated Press reported on December 15:

Mario D’Agostino, a deputy city manager [in El Paso] …. outlined a new strategy that might ferry migrants to large, nearby transportation hubs, such as Dallas, Denver and Phoenix. He said federal immigration authorities are preparing to possibly process and directly release migrants at a bridge that connects Ciudad Juárez, Mexico, and El Paso.

“Two days after the city of Denver opened an emergency shelter to accommodate more than 100 migrants who arrived in the city from the country’s southern border, another 20 arrived on Thursday, city officials said,” according to a December 8 report in Denver Post.

Landlords have responded to the Biden inflow by evicting many single-income American families to make room for larger groups of bunk-sharing migrants that can pay higher rents from multiple jobs. This resulting rise in rents provides an easy guide to the growing cost of migration that is being imposed on Americans, just as rising gas prices tend to display the impact of inflation on Americans.

NBC reported on November 5:

Despite a relatively strong job market and historically low unemployment, nearly 7.8 million Americans said they were behind on their rent in October and 3 million felt they were likely to be evicted in the next two months, according to a census survey the same month. That survey found that 2.5 million people had experienced a rent increase of more than $500 over the past year.

“With inflation and the massive increases in rental prices that we’ve seen over the last few years, it’s much worse for low-income renters than it was before the pandemic when we were already in an affordable housing crisis,” said Daniel Grubbs-Donovan, a researcher at the Eviction Lab at Princeton University.

NBC described the impact on one single-income, fatherless family:

Zenovia Johnson is one of those Phoenix renters who’s been struggling to stay in her home because of rising rents. She said she missed her rent payment at the start of October and received an eviction notice from her landlord just days later. She borrowed money to cover her payment, but now is unsure how she will make November’s rent with the income from her telemarketing job unable to cover her bills. Last month, her car was repossessed because she had been prioritizing her rent over her car payment.

“Everything has gone up, I just can’t keep up,” the single mother of two young children said. She added that she was not sure what she was going to do.

Americans are also facing even more competition for housing in New York, which has long used immigrants to create a low-wage economy dominated by landlords and elites:

Other cities are losing shelter space to Biden’s migrants. In Chicago, The Book Club of Chicago reported on December 7:

By early October, [Noiram] Cardozo had landed short-term work at a car wash and in construction, he said. His top priority was to send money back to his relatives in Venezuela who were struggling to pay for food, water and gas, he said.

Without steady income, Cardozo can’t save up enough money to get out of the shelter, he said.

The Book Club also described the story of Maikel Jose Tineo, a migrant from Colombia, which recently elected a left-wing president:

the 21-year-old was sitting outside the Salvation Army Freedom Center in Humboldt Park, where he lives with hundreds of other young immigrants. He’d been to a doctor, received clothes and a city ID and was able to borrow a bike to visit the neighborhood’s sprawling namesake park.

After days of walking and biking around the city to find work, he landed a part-time job at a Wicker Park restaurant. He washes dishes for minimum wage, he said.

With the money Tineo earned, he bought a bike and started paying off debt he owes from his journey to the United States.

Many of the migrants’ shelters are funded by the federal government with taxpayer dollars.

The shelters are also backed up by corporate donors, eager for bodies and the diversity that fractures the public to the growing concentration of wealth. Together, federal officials and corporate donors have built a massive network of shelters and transport routes to quickly deliver new economic migrants to the jobs and housing needed by Americans.

Ideological progressives also welcome the inflow of poor economic migrants.

Since the 1990s, many progressives have shifted their emotional sympathy for underdogs away from a focus on blacks and blue-collar Americans. The shift comes as those groups blame their loss of jobs, income, and status on progressive policies, and so reject progressives’ preferences and increasingly vote for populist Republicans.

In turn, progressives find emotional satisfaction in helping their new wave of poor and subservient migrants who are grateful for the progressives’ support:

The same establishment-backed process is playing out in European countries, such as England, Ireland, and Wales, where pro-migration leaders welcome more foreign renters, buyers, and wage-cutting workers:
