The most numerous victims of this invasion are blacks and Hispanics who are attacked by young men of their own race. These are the forgotten men and women in our society, and this is a topic that mainstream news won't cover because the killers are mostly black and Hispanic. Just in 2020, the year of the "defund the police" protests, murders of blacks soared by 32%, and they're only continuing.
In criminology, the "broken windows" theory posits that visible signs of crime and civil disorder encourage only more serious crimes and antisocial behaviors. A community that is perceived to permit vandalism, fare evasion, public intoxication, and petty theft will soon find that it must defend against rising rates of robbery, rape, and murder. Tackling smaller forms of criminal mischief nips violent crimes in the bud. Although Wyatt Earp and other Wild West lawmen put the theory into practice long before social scientists James Wilson and George Kelling wrote about it in the 1980s, Mayor Rudy Giuliani and police commissioner William Bratton popularized its use when they successfully implemented "broken windows" policies that saved New York City from a decades-long crime spiral.
Communist Mayor Bill de Blasio later framed "broken windows" policing as inherently racist, retreated from many sensible initiatives, and punished cops for proactively fighting crime. The residents of NYC have subsequently paid the price with their deteriorating safety.
Such has been the much larger pattern throughout American society. Cultural Marxists and other communist coalitions attack good and sound policies as racist, sexist, transphobic, or guilty of some other ugly -ic or -ist smear; those traditional standards of behavior are repudiated; and then Americans suffer the consequences of living in a society without norms, manners, or common decency. Throwing bricks through America's windows while blaming others for their crimes, leftists have spent the last century engaging in purposeful destruction so as to bring about America's demise. Throw a brick here; throw a brick there; eventually, Americans wake up in a nation where government tyrants nonchalantly lock up their political opponents, censorship is widespread, and young adults can no longer determine whether they are boys or girls.
Family, faith, and community fellowship provide the backbone to any healthy society. Constitutional protections, limited government, and respect for individual rights all begin around family life. When people build strong homes, foster self-sufficiency, encourage hard work, value private property, and share inter-generational knowledge and support, they create the foundations for a free and prosperous society. When they believe in a higher power, dedicate themselves to pursuing a moral life, and think beyond their own urges, they encourage the growth of civic virtue. When they choose forgiveness over grievance, seek to put aside past conflicts, and find value in common defense, they transform communities into countries. Simple seeds produce boundless harvests.
It should be no surprise, then, that cultural Marxists have dedicated their energies to the destruction of family, faith, and fellowship. Where children are encouraged to reject their parents, the State becomes their family. Where religion is denigrated as superstitious or dangerous, government is worshiped as a false god. Where communities are pitted against one another and politicians insist on keeping citizens divided, disorder and chaos make self-government impossible and authoritarian government certain.
Why have Marxists been breaking America's windows for so many decades? Because only in the rubble of societal ruin can communist tyranny reign supreme.
With baseball back in action (albeit with seemingly never-ending rule changes), it is fun to look at old photos from Fenway Park, Wrigley Field, or Tiger Stadium. Men attired in suits; women wearing long dresses, elegant hats atop their heads; and a general sense of decorum fill up every black-and-white scene. Whatever rowdiness remains hidden from these old glimpses back in time, they serve as a reminder that society once fostered not only a concern for one's personal appearance, but also a mutual appreciation for public propriety. Fashion was not strictly about comfort, but existed as a silent form of communication demonstrating good manners and respect for others.
Today, good manners and respect for others are out of fashion, if not obsolete. Forget any "sirs," "madams," or "beg your pardons" from ever being uttered, but do expect to hear lurid vulgarity where you might once have least expected it. Profanity and salty stories are nothing new, but their public proliferation is. Just as with respectful fashions, courteous language is a sign of a sober mind possessing enough empathy to consider others within earshot. Crass language and animalistic behavior are the hallmarks of unremitting egocentrism and perpetual adolescence. In an era so drowning in debauchery that political leaders and schoolteachers believe it appropriate to introduce the youngest students to pornography and drag shows, though, it is easy to see how probity has been replaced with anything goes. The obvious consequence is that self-reliant American adults have been replaced with a nation of children whom Daddy Government can choose to punish when bad and reward when well behaved. That's how Marxists make slaves.
In a very short time, we have gone from holding doors for ladies, treating our elders with respect, and engaging in mutual courtesies to barely-there clothing, targeting elders as easy prey, and ludicrously labeling good manners as signs of "patriarchy" and "white supremacy." The women in those black-and-white photos of Fenway Park still managed to seem perfectly alluring, but today's leftists believe that feminism requires "shouting your abortion" and letting confused men struggling with their own identities redefine womanhood. The men in those photos still managed to convey dignity and self-respect regardless of their personal wealth, but today's leftists believe that masculinity is "toxic" and that good manners belong only to the upper class.
These cultural transformations — what many Establishment Republicans derisively ignored as meaningless events in an unimportant "Culture War" — have proven to be tremendously consequential. What started out as pebbles thrown against small windows of abandoned buildings turned into bricks demolishing whole glass walls once reflecting America's common mores and beliefs. Those vandalized beliefs not only undermined society's moral foundations, but also left America like an ugly, forgotten building — broken and decayed. In truth, Marxists' cultural destruction of America has far exceeded "broken windows" and more closely resembles the actions of a malevolent arsonist intent on setting fires, big and small, wherever opportunity arises. And the cost of never putting those Marxist fires out when they were first set is today's raging inferno.
The U.S. government actively engages in viewpoint discrimination and political censorship. J6 political prisoners rot in jail. Churches are firebombed for refusing to redefine the institution of marriage or insisting on protecting the sanctity of every unborn life. Children are sexually groomed in the classroom for the pleasure of perverted adults. Medical doctors castrate and mutilate confused minors before they have had a chance to truly live. News media spread endless waves of State-controlled propaganda while accusing political dissenters of being propagandists. Intellectuals publish a bloated collection of narrow groupthink while accusing free thinkers of being too dumb to understand the issues. Patriotic Americans who love their country are branded "domestic terrorists" while anti-American zealots who insist America is irredeemably racist are rewarded with prizes. A presidential candidate who destroyed subpoenaed evidence and fabricated an international Russian conspiracy that divided the nation suffers no legal consequences, yet an elected president who took no salary while surviving one Deep State attack after the next is persecuted still today. These are the rotten fruits of Marxist seeds.
All of this should make clear that America's problems cannot be solved through elections alone. The bad roots must be ripped from the ground before we begin the hard work of healthy planting. Before we repair all the broken windows, we must first face head-on those who do the breaking. Before we build America back up, we must break down those who set fires for a living.
Brandon Johnson, the far-left, self-professed “progressive” candidate who ran on a plan to defund the Chicago Police and raise the city’s taxes, has won his runoff campaign for mayor of Chicago.
Moderate Democrat Paul Vallas led Johnson for most of the night until around 8 p.m. when Johnson began overtaking the former Chicago Public Schools chief.
Vallas ran as a business-friendly, law-and-order candidate while Johnson, who is black, ran a brutal campaign calling Vallas a racist who is “really a Republican.”
The election came down to the wire with more than 500,000 Chicagoans casting their ballot for mayor, but in the end, Johnson was able to maintain his slight lead, although the counting will continue as absentee and mail-in votes are counted after Election Night.
Still, many were calling the mayor’s race by 9 p.m. Central on Tuesday evening.
Crime served as a top issue in the runoff even as Johnson continued to try and run away from the debate on the campaign trail.
It was no surprise that Johnson did not want to talk about the issues.
According to the Chicago Tribune, in the wake of the death of George Floyd back in 2020, Johnson — who was a Cook County Commissioner at the time — introduced a resolution to “redirect funds from policing and incarceration to public services not administered by law enforcement.” His “Justice for Black Lives” resolution passed overwhelmingly in July 2020.
Johnson also blasted the now deposed Mayor Lori Lightfoot — who opposed defunding the police — and insisted that “she’s on the wrong side of history. … And the other side of the building has to come to their own reckoning.”
Johnson added, “This will give the county commissioners a road map for taking millions of waste spent on incarceration and policing and reinvesting it.”
A year later, Johnson appeared on WCPT 820′s The Santita Jackson Show and said that defunding the police is not just a slogan, adding, “I don’t look at it as a slogan. It’s an actual real political goal,” the Tribune added.
Johnson has also been in favor of huge hikes in taxes on a city that already has some of the highest taxes in the country.
Under Lori Lightfoot, the Windy City led the nation along with Los Angeles in losing citizens to outward migration.
Not quite one-third of registered voters (33.2%) bothered to vote in Tuesday’s election for the next mayor of Chicago, and the non-voting two thirds may soon regret their electoral passivity. Brandon Johnson, a far-left radical, has won the race with a 2.8% margin at the latest count, and thanks to his anti-police stance, the crime wave driving businesses and residents out of the city will only get worse.

The term in office of Lori Lightfoot, defeated with an ignominious third place finish in the primary in large part because of public disgust over crime, may soon be regarded as the good old days. With the police presence on the streets diminishing, and a mayor who cheerleads crime, life in Chicago will get worse. Much worse.
I have a number of friends who live in Chicago, all of whom have been worrying about a possible Johnson victory. Now that he will be the next mayor, I wonder if they will be leaving? If they do, they will have plenty of company.

Janet Protasiewicz under fire for light sentencing record ahead of Tuesday's election
A cold-blooded killer who burned his victims’ bodies. A felon accused of murdering the niece of a Milwaukee politician. A domestic abuser who gunned down his ex-wife.
These criminals had one thing in common—they were repeat offenders who preyed on their victims after receiving lenient sentences from liberal Wisconsin Supreme Court candidate Janet Protasiewicz.
Protasiewicz’s conservative opponent, former justice Dan Kelly, has argued that her light sentencing record raises questions about her judgment. The high-stakes election, which will take place Tuesday, April 4, will determine the ideological breakdown of the swing state's top court and could have national implications for the 2024 presidential elections. Spending in the race has already exceeded $40 million, making it by far the most expensive state judicial election in U.S. history.
During Protasiewicz's time on the Milwaukee Circuit Court bench, she let off dozens of domestic abusers and child predators with little or no jail time, according to court records reviewed by the Washington Free Beacon—and many of them went on to commit new violent crimes.
Here are seven of the most disturbing cases:
1. Lazarick Spade
In December 2015, Spade escaped from a prison work-release program—where he was serving time for felony child abuse—and assaulted his estranged wife on a public sidewalk in Milwaukee. He pushed her to the ground and punched and kicked her, causing a fracture to her face.
Protasiewicz Sentence: Six months jail.
Aftermath: Shortly after he was released from prison, Spade ambushed his ex-wife outside her home in Milwaukee and shot her multiple times to "get even" with her for reporting the prior assault. She survived but lost a lung and suffered permanent injuries. The victim told the Free Beacon that the shooting likely wouldn’t have happened if Protasiewicz had given Spade a more serious sentence—and said she doesn't think Protasiewicz deserves to serve on the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
2. Antwone Eichelberger
In March 2016, Eichelberger flew into a violent rage and strangled his girlfriend after accusing her of infidelity while he was in prison. The victim managed to flee and barricaded herself in her apartment by "wedg[ing] a chair in front of the door" to keep Eichelberger out, according to court records obtained by the Free Beacon.
Eichelberger broke into the home by smashing his fist through the glass door and "began punching [the victim] repeatedly." She was eventually able to escape by running barefoot "over the shattered glass, which caused the lacerations to her feet," and hid in a neighbor’s apartment until police came.
Protasiewicz Sentence: Probation.
Aftermath: Three years later, Eichelberger was charged with felony battery after punching his girlfriend repeatedly in the face, breaking her nose, according to court records.
3. Elijah Combs
In 2016, Combs strangled his girlfriend and punched her multiple times in the face, bloodying her nose and breaking her tooth, according to court records reported by Wisconsin Right Now. He also "kicked and stomped on" the victim "all over her body." Afterward, he ordered her to "clean up the blood that was splattered throughout the area" and wouldn’t let her leave the house "because her face was so messed up."
Protasiewicz Sentence: Six months in the House of Corrections.
Aftermath: Combs—who killed himself in late February after leading police on a car chase—is suspected of murdering his girlfriend Aliyah Perez, the 26-year-old niece of Milwaukee Alderman Jose Perez, in a shooting in February.
4. Matthew Neumann
In 2015, Neumann was arrested after brandishing a gun and threatening to shoot his wife, according to Fox News.
Protasiewicz Sentence: Probation.
Aftermath: Three years after he was sentenced, Neumann murdered two of his cleaning business employees after a night of drinking. He burned their bodies in a firepit on his property. Neumann’s daughter said she overheard her father say he killed one of the men over a pack of cigarettes, according to reports.
5. Kenneth Wright
In 2020, Kenneth Wright, 28, was arrested for sexual assault after impregnating a 15-year-old girl.
Sentence: Probation.
Aftermath: Less than a year after his sentence, Wright was charged with killing a teenage girl in a drunk driving accident.
6. Kenneth Blair
In 2018, Blair was charged with sexually assaulting 3 children aged 7, 8, and 11.
Sentence: Probation.
Aftermath: Three years later, Blair was charged with assaulting one of the same children, although the case was reportedly dismissed due to issues with the criminal complaint.
Sentence: Probation.
Aftermath: Bounds was arrested again last June for possessing a firearm as a convicted felon. The case is still open, according to records.

Liberal Wisconsin Supreme Court candidate Janet Protasiewicz sentenced a serial violent felon to just six months in prison for breaking his estranged wife's face in a brutal beating. Less than one year later, the man gunned down the same victim outside her home, nearly killing her, according to courtrecords reviewed by the Washington Free Beacon.
The offender, Lazarick Spade, allegedly shot his ex-wife to "get even" with her for reporting the prior assault, according to court records.
The disturbing case could fuel concerns about Protasiewicz's sentencing record and professional judgment, after critics have accused her of handing down light sentences to domestic abusers and sexual predators during her time on the Milwaukee Circuit Court. The high-stakes April 4 race between Protasiewicz and her conservative opponent, former state Supreme Court justice Dan Kelly, will decide the ideological breakdown of the swing state's top court and could have national implications for the 2024 presidential elections.
It also raises questions about Protasiewicz's suggestion last week that she only has "one case where someone reoffended." In that incident, which Protasiewicz's opponents have highlighted in negative campaign attacks, she released a child sex offender without jail time who went on to kill a woman in a drunken car crash.
"That is the case where I indicated hindsight is 20/20," said Protasiewicz.
Protasiewicz did not respond to questions about whether she also regrets her decision in the Spade case.
A week before Christmas in 2015, Spade brutally beat his estranged wife after she told him she was ending the relationship and "moving on with her life." At the time of the assault, Spade had escaped from a prison work-release program, where he was supposed to serve a nine-month sentence for abusing the couple’s child.
Spade confronted his wife, who is referred to as T.S. in court records, outside a house in east Milwaukee, according to court records. He pushed her to the ground and then "dragged T.S. and punched and kicked her in the face," according to reports from multiple witnesses, who ran outside to pull Spade off of the victim. "As a result, T.S. sustained facial hematomas and a facial fracture," responding officers told the court.
Spade was initially charged with felony battery and faced up to 10 years in prison as a habitual offender, but the charges were reduced in a plea deal approved by Protasiewicz. She sentenced him to six months in prison.
Less than two years later, in June 2017, Spade ambushed and shot his ex-wife multiple times outside her home in Milwaukee, according to court records.
T.S. "arrived home around 10:55 p.m. and was walking toward her house when [Spade] came toward her and started shooting at her," say the court records. She "ran toward the house as [Spade] continued shooting."
The victim "sustained three through and through gunshot wounds," the records state. "One shot went through her left foot. One shot went through her upper right arm. One shot went through her by the shoulder blade and caused damage to one of her lungs."
In total, Spade fired 19 rounds at T.S., according to investigators.
T.S., who was hospitalized but survived the attack, told police that earlier that day she had run into Spade at the courthouse while taking out papers to file a restraining order against him. He allegedly told her he would "get even with her for sending him to jail" in the assault case.
Spade was convicted by a jury of attempted first-degree intentional homicide in 2019. He is serving 40 years in prison.

3. CORRUPTION IN THE FBI: The malicious and ethics-free raid on Mar-a-Lago is viewed even by many Democrats and all Republicans as vicious political intimidation, with the goal of destroying any followers of Donald Trump. This began in earnest during the "Russia collusion" case and saw its culmination in midnight raids of innocent conservatives revealing a hateful, vengeful vigilantism on the part of the radical left. In the hope that supporters of Trump and other conservative candidates would drop out of politics in fear of similar reprisals, these Gestapo tactics have not only solidified Trump's support and the support of even moderately conservative candidates, but have shown the Left to be petty children in a deranged, red-haze temper tantrum.

Police: Florida Man Stabbed Mother of His Child 100+ Times Before Tossing Toddler into Lake Where Alligator Snatched Him
A Florida man is accused of killing a mother and their toddler son after the child’s body was found in the mouth of an alligator on Friday.
St. Petersburg police arrested 21-year-old Thomas Mosley once they found two-year-old Taylen Mosley’s body at Lake Maggiore, a location that is over ten miles from where his mother’s body was discovered, 10 Tampa Bay reported Saturday.
The 20-year-old mother, Pashun Jefferey, was found dead inside her apartment on Thursday, per Breitbart News.
Now, Mosley is charged with two counts of first-degree murder but reportedly has no bond at the moment, the Tampa Bay article said.
Jeffrey’s family visited her home on Wednesday to celebrate Mosley’s birthday. When they left the residence that afternoon, Mosley, Jefferey, and the toddler were the only people still there, the outlet continued:
Almost four hours later at around 9:03 p.m., police say Thomas Mosley arrived at his mother’s home with “severe lacerations to both of his hands and arms” that closely aligned with the same injuries of someone who was involved in a knife attack. He later admitted himself to St. Anthony’s Hospital.
The murder investigation began the next day when officers responded to Lincoln Shores Apartments, off of 4th Street North, after Jeffery’s family voiced their concerns about the 20-year-old and said they saw blood on the sidewalk in a path leading away from her apartment, the affidavit reports.
Relatives contacted the apartment’s management who eventually got inside the home and found Jeffrey’s body. Once they arrived at the scene, officials noted they found “in excess of 100 wounds” on the woman.
When speaking of her during a press conference, one family member said, “She’s very outspoken, always make you laugh,” while another recalled, “Smile, a beautiful smile all the time.”
Inside the residence, law enforcement found a bloody fingerprint on a cleaning bottle. The print was later identified as the suspect’s.
On Thursday evening, Mosley reportedly went to the Lake Maggiore area and then traveled to his mother’s nearby home.
When officers located the toddler’s body, they killed the alligator to retrieve it. An autopsy will determine the child’s cause of death as the investigation continues.
Taylen’s family is now sharing their grief over the tragic loss:
As of Monday afternoon, a memorial fundraiser to help with funeral arrangements and support the family has raised $31,910 of its $50,000 goal.
“To see them together and their love for each other was a blessing. We will remember their love and will keep them in our hearts,” the page said of the mother and son.
