Osama bin Laden rightly coached his followers that “the people want to follow the ‘strong horse’ and will abandon the weak one.” We are witnessing our nation now being destroyed by the powerful Democrat demons and betrayed by the pitiable weakness and cowardice of our Republican champions. Unless the Republicans, the Patriots, the Conservatives, the lovers of our Constitution, quickly rise up and display backbone, this great American experiment may well perish from the earth.
Providence and our brilliant Constitution have given us a legal pathway to saving this nation, but it must be grasped and pursued with courage and righteous power. While the Democrats dishonored the tool of Impeachment against President Trump by using false and illegitimate reasons for their debauched actions, this must not be the excuse for abandoning this worthy instrument for correcting against corruption and stupidity in our highest public offices.
The evidence for Biden’s corruption and betrayal of America mounts by the day. We cannot wait for the situation to ripen further. Too many of our institutions supporting justice and the rule of law have already been compromised by criminal behavior and subornation from the highest levels. Every day that action to bring justice is delayed, creates more despair and consternation amongst the American people. They must not be allowed to lapse into apathy and cynicism.
A clear and powerful case for Impeachment must be mounted immediately. It will grow and become the basis for an education campaign that cannot be stopped or papered over by our now untrustworthy press and government handmaidens of deceit. More and more of the foul truth about the Biden crime family and our damaged Justice system will emerge, until the trickle of whistle blowers and damning evidence becomes a rushing torrent that can wash away the stains and ugly crimes of the past three years.
Too many of our fellow citizens, stressed and shell shocked by the blitzkrieg carried out by the former Democrat party, have been emotionally damaged and driven into hiding, along with their families, in the ruins of their homes, lives, and businesses. The fires and intimidation of Antifa and BLM still smolder across the land, and every day new attacks are launched against our school children at every grade level, as we are lectured and harassed to accept, nay, welcome, their corruption, sexualization, mutilation, and indoctrination. Meanwhile, those normative guardrails for any civilization to exist: Law and order, safety, common values and heroes, trustworthy lawmakers and leaders, and respect for the sacrifices and gifts of our ancestors; these are all being dissolved in an acid wash of lies and propaganda.
The red fascists masquerading as our Democrat political party have obliterated the home of Truman, Kennedy, and LBJ. What remains is a shell, a Trojan Horse packed full of crazy-eyed warriors prepared at every moment to commit murder and mayhem to advance their power. There is no polite answer to the armed killer at your door. In too many places, the police have been depopulated and terrorized. Our prosecutors have been emasculated and suborned. Even our armed forces are being hollowed out and rendered unfit for combat.
There is still time to turn the tide. We must now, without delay and without fear, use every tool that our Constitution gives us to stop the illegitimate mad tyranny being promoted and carried out by the Biden administration. There’s no profit in bemoaning the corrupt imbeciles who are carrying out our destruction, any more than protesting Adolf Eichmann while Hitler ruled. The evil and illegality flow from the top, down through the tiers of bureaucracy and time servers, the FBI and Department of Justice, Homeland Security, EPA, CIA, State Department, ad nauseum.
President Biden and Vice President Harris have violated their oaths of office. At the simplest level, they are governed by Article 2, Section 3 which reads in part: “(they) shall take care that the Laws be faithfully executed.” To be sworn in as President, Biden had to agree that “I do solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.”
Our bill of particulars for Impeachment can have many clauses, but there is no need to go any further than the President’s clear refusal to enforce existing immigration laws for more than two years, and to invite and allow a literal invasion on our southern border. This has caused manifest harms and damages to our entire nation, not least of which have been the proximate cause of nearly 200,000 deaths of American citizens from drugs like fentanyl flooding across our border.
The list of horribles caused by President Biden’s betrayal of our country, its laws, and its citizens, is long and blood soaked. We know that his actions have enriched the brutal and savage Mexican and South American cartels to the tune of billions of dollars each month.
None of this, and much, much more is unknown to the White House and our government. What manner of human being would originate and stubbornly persist in carrying out such a destructive policy against his own nation, and along with his minions, continuously lie about it, with the cries and tears of raped and abused women and children, with the river of pain flowing forth from parents and families who have lost their precious loved ones to Fentanyl poisoning or gang violence?
In the end, the only way to stop the carnage and likely destruction of America, constitutionally, is by filing and fighting for Articles of Impeachment against Joseph R. Biden. And I would argue that the same should be done against Kamala Harris. Her hands are dirty. She is a full cooperating accessory to the criminal, illegal, and unconstitutional actions of the Biden Administration.
Bringing Impeachment before the House of Representatives, giving a full airing to the criminality and misdeeds of the Biden gang would explode nationally and could not be contained or constrained by a handmaiden media. Republicans are too much like the pachyderm afraid of the Democrat mouse at their feet. For God’s sake, GOP, you must step on this rat. With enough public outcry and exposure of the illegal Biden behavior, who knows what effect this will have on Senate Democrats if an impeachment trial is held?
The Lord works in mysterious ways, and may move the more than 50% of Democrats who already want Biden gone. Remember, the Speaker of the House is third in line if replacement of the President and Vice President should happen. We need a miracle to save America. Give us that miracle.

The FBI confirmed the existence of an informant file the bureau refuses to provide Congress that allegedly links President Joe Biden to a $5 million bribery scheme, a confirmation the Justice Department previously did not deny, House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-KY) revealed Wednesday.
Comer and FBI Director Christopher Wray conducted a scheduled meeting Wednesday in which the bureau chief confirmed the file’s existence. The file allegedly details an arrangement involving an exchange of money for policy decisions between now-President Biden and a foreign national.
Okay. Let's see it. I'm all for protecting national security and sources, but we can do it. We can see the information on the memo and prove for once and for all whether or not money impacted policy decisions. It would be nice to know if nine Biden family members won the big Lotto or received payments from business ventures under "The Big Guy."
Director Christopher Wray has another problem – the FBI’s credibility issues revealed in the Durham Report. The director can say that reforms were implemented or he can put the document on the table and let the country see the evidence. Again, he can protect sources and confirm that the it's something or nothing.

'Always Available for You': Hunter Biden and His Associates Had Direct Contact With Joe Biden's Staff, Emails Show

Hunter Biden’s business partners had considerable influence in the office of then-vice president Joe Biden, going so far as arranging invitations to state functions, a new trove of emails released by the National Archives on Wednesday shows.
The emails, which were released to America First Legal as part of a lawsuit, raise questions about President Joe Biden’s repeated denials that he had no knowledge of his son’s overseas business dealings. In at least one instance, Hunter Biden’s former business partner Eric Schwerin initiated contact with the vice president’s top aides to get an associate into a 2010 State Department lunch with senior Chinese Communist Party officials. Other emails suggest Hunter Biden received confidential information from the vice president’s office about a 2010 state trip to Africa.
The emails come as Republican lawmakers scrutinize a host of the Biden family’s foreign business dealings. Hunter Biden lobbied the State Department on behalf of a corrupt Romanian official who paid the Biden family $1 million while his father was vice president, the Washington Free Beacon reported . House Oversight Committee chairman James Comer (R., Ky.) earlier this month subpoenaed FBI director Christopher Wray for documents that allegedly detail "a bribery scheme involving a foreign national and Joe Biden when he served as vice president."
The National Archives heavily redacted the emails it provided to America First Legal, citing executive privilege. But emails from Hunter Biden’s abandoned laptop shed more light on the redacted messages. One of the redacted emails released from the National Archive, for example, reveals that Schwerin reached out to Joe Biden’s then-executive assistant Michele Smith in a message titled "China Lunch" on Nov. 19, 2010. The Archives redacted the body of the email, which Hunter Biden was copied on, and claimed its release would "disclose confidential advice between the president and his advisors, or between such advisors."
But an unredacted version of the same email located on Hunter Biden’s hard drive shows that Schwerin informed Smith that Hunter Biden wanted to invite Greg Penner, a Walmart board member, to an upcoming State Department luncheon honoring then-Chinese president Hu Jintao.
The email came in response to a Nov. 18 email in which Schwerin informed Hunter Biden that the vice president needed help finding people who fit into the mold of a "business leader," "elected official," or "think tank" type to invite to the event. Joe Biden and then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton ultimately honored Hu with a State Department luncheon on Jan. 19, 2011. It is not clear if Hunter Biden, Schwerin, or Penner attended the event.
America First Legal says the emails show that "Biden family business was intertwined with the official business of the United States."
"These records–which are only a small portion of the actual records that the National Archives possess–demonstrate for the American people, yet again, continued evidence of influence peddling and personal enrichment by the Biden family," America First Legal vice president Gene Hamilton said in a statement. "The full extent has yet to be seen, but with each release, we are painting a fuller picture for the American people of the extent to which the Biden family business was intertwined with the official business of the United States."
Another set of messages obtained by the conservative legal group show that Hunter Biden reached out to his father’s then-deputy chief of staff, Alan Hoffman, on June 3, 2010, asking to call him to "talk about africa."
"Always available for you," Hoffman responded seconds later.
Later that day, Hunter Biden sent an email to Jill Biden adviser Anthony Bernal titled "Nairobi ideas," and another message to Joe Biden’s executive assistant, Nancy Orloff, titled "Summary Africa." The National Archives redacted the contents of both emails. Messages on Hunter Biden’s abandoned laptop from the same day, however, show Joe Biden staffers discussing the vice president’s schedule for an upcoming trip to Nairobi, Kenya, from June 7 through June 10, 2010.
Hunter Biden has a long track record of questionable African business deals. House Republicans in January launched an investigation into Hunter Biden’s role in the 2016 sale of a Congolese mine to a Chinese conglomerate, which helped Beijing gain control over the global cobalt supply. Hunter Biden also tried to help a Chinese energy executive purchase an oil field in Ghana, even after he was warned that the executive’s company was linked to countries sanctioned by the United States.
Though the emails show that Hunter enjoyed extensive access to his father’s staff, they also reveal that he was not always welcome on Pennsylvania Avenue.
Hunter Biden complained in an April 19, 2010, email to Orloff that his ex-wife, Kathleen Biden, and his children were asked to leave the White House "at least 5 times" for unexplained reasons, one email shows.
The White House did not respond to a request for comment.

According to Comer, FBI director Christopher Wray offered in a phone call Wednesday to allow lawmakers to view the potentially explosive document at FBI headquarters, but refused to provide a physical copy to the House Oversight panel. The document, known as an FD-1023, allegedly claims that a foreign national bribed Biden for a favorable policy decision when he was vice president. Republicans have sought the FD-1023 as part of their investigation into President Biden and his son’s business dealings.
Comer rejected Wray’s offer in a statement and said he would move forward with contempt proceedings against the FBI chief if the FD-1023 was not provided to the Oversight Committee. "Anything short of producing these documents to @GOPoversight is not in compliance with my subpoena," he said .
Comer and Sen. Chuck Grassley (R., Iowa) revealed earlier this month that an FBI whistleblower told lawmakers about the existence of the FD-1023, a type of document which the FBI uses to record interviews with confidential sources. Details of the allegation are unclear, and Republicans have acknowledged that they do not know whether the claims from the FBI source are accurate. Republicans, however, have questioned whether the FBI fully investigated the alleged bribery.
The FBI employee who contacted lawmakers is the latest in a string of government whistleblowers to come forward with evidence about the Bidens. Two IRS employees have accused the Justice Department of stonewalling an investigation into Hunter Biden’s taxes. Several of Hunter Biden's former associates, meanwhile, have provided the FBI and Congress with information about the first son’s foreign business dealings.

The big headline Thursday was that Biden and the Senate reached a deal on infrastructure. Apparently, it will involve less money than Biden demanded and actually fix some of America’s decaying hard infrastructure (roads, bridges, etc.). Of course, once that’s done, the Democrats will push through all the other items using reconciliation. America will lose…again. But something else happened today, which was that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris proved that their biggest campaign lie might have been their promise to return the White House to “normal.”
Of course, I never accepted the premise that Donald Trump was not a normal president. If you know even a little bit about presidential history, Donald Trump was a whole lot better than many of them. Franklin Roosevelt had affairs, John F. Kennedy had orgies, Bill Clinton had…well, I don’t even want to go there. If Obama committed peccadillos, the media covered for him, but what’s certain is that even the media couldn’t cover for how corrupt his administration was, culminating in the Russia Hoax.
What was really abnormal about Donald Trump’s presidency was the Democrat party’s behavior, especially in the form of its media coverage. Everything Trump did or said was presented as “abnormal,” whether it was his preference for two scoops of ice cream (I applaud the man for that), his Queens accent, his long tie, or his overt and heartfelt patriotism. Had the media reported about him as they did about Roosevelt, Kennedy, Clinton, or Obama, nothing about Trump would have stood out. He would, instead, have been hailed as a man of the people who cleaned up the government.
When Biden was sold as “normal,” that was the real con. Biden was a known quantity. He was the man who palled around with segregationists, constantly made racist remarks, suffered from chronic foot-in-mouth, used his debauched son and other family members to funnel millions in dirty money to himself, and constantly pawed and sniffed little girls in public. Biden is not normal.
And of course, now that Biden is almost certainly suffering from dementia, his tenuous grasp on normalcy is diminishing even more. Having reached an agreement with the Senate about the infrastructure, Biden gave a brief press conference. That led to a viral video of super Biden’s weirdness.
The video that’s making the rounds cuts off the question asked of Biden, which was apparently an ordinary one regarding how much money went to COVID relief. What matters is Biden’s response: With his eyes bugging out, Biden leaned into the microphone and, in the voice of an obscene phone caller gloating about his organ size, announced that he had gotten $1.9 trillion COVID relief.
As an aside, this is disastrous, because COVID, which had a less than 1.8% mortality rate to begin with is over. To continue to print money in order to pay Americans not to work is a short trip to socialism, bankruptcy, and Venezuela.

While Biden was boasting, he totally forgot about the dreadful building collapse in a Miami community. One is confirmed dead, but there are worries that 99 others will be counted among the dead. At this point, it’s unclear whether Biden ordered poor little Kamala-ella to stay home from the ball, if Kamala’s former senatorial “friends” wanted nothing to do with her, or if it’s easier to plot a take-over when nobody’s watching you. All that I can say is that the whole vibe is off.
If you’re looking for normal, you are not going to find it in the Joe Biden White House, and that’s true no matter what the hacks, shills, operatives, and propagandists in the media say.

Hunter has reportedly sold five paintings worth $75,000 each to an anonymous buyer. Hunter’s art dealer, Georges Bergès, has previously boasted he had strong ties to businessmen in Communist China, which has concerned many due to the Biden family’s business ventures abroad.
“We are 95% sure that that artwork went to China,” Comer said. “We don’t know where exactly that went to in China, but we’re going to try to find out when we get subpoena power.”

A “farmland buying spree” by Wall Street hedge funds and China is turning American farms into “corporate fiefdoms,” Democrat presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. says.
In 2021, as Breitbart News reported , Chinese investors bought up $6.1 billion worth of United States housing, real estate, and land. Kennedy, in a Twitter post, criticized the federal government’s allowing hedge funds and foreign countries like China to buy up American land.
“Farmland buying spree by Wall Street’s mammoth hedge funds and China are turning America’s and the globe’s agricultural landscapes into corporate fiefdoms and farmers into serfs,” Kennedy wrote. “Many people do not understand that small farms actually outproduce large industrial farms.”
The Center for Research on Globalization report posted by Kennedy details how a small group of corporate behemoths dominate the nation’s food industry and, thus, have a stake in who controls American farmland.
Likewise, China, according to a 2021 USDA report , owns nearly 384,000 acres of American farmland –195,000 acres of which were purchased by Chinese investors and the other 189,000 acres of which were purchased by U.S. corporations with Chinese shareholders.
From 2019 to 2020 alone, China bought up 105,000 acres of American farmland. Then, in 2021, China purchased another 32,000 acres of land across the United States.

Like China, American billionaires are buying up America’s farmland and real estate at historic levels — driving up real estate prices for working- and middle-class communities. Today, billionaire Bill Gates owns almost 250,000 acres of American farmland, making him the largest private owner of agricultural land in the nation.
Sens. Tom Cotton (R-AR) and Katie Britt (R-AL) filed legislation months ago that would ban Chinese nationals and Chinese companies from buying and owning real estate in the United States. The legislation, and its nearly identical bill in the House, does not have any Democrat co-sponsors.

Democrat presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is championing a populist-nationalist approach to the United States economy, vowing to impose tariffs on foreign imports to protect American workers and industries from unfair trade competition.
In a series of Twitter posts, Kennedy detailed the nation’s growing wealth inequalities whereby the very top earners — many of which are billionaires — have seen their share of income grow exponentially while the share of income among working- and middle-class Americans has steadily declined.
The breakdown of unions — in part, as a result of decades-long job-killing free trade policies — has coincided with growing income inequalities, Kennedy noted.
“The top share of income going to the top 10% has increased from 35% in 1945 to more than 45% today. Union membership has declined in the same period from 33% to about 10% — its lowest level since the 1930s,” he wrote on Twitter:
From the end of WWII through the 1980s, income distribution stayed relatively constant. But union membership began declining, and the share of income going to the bottom 90% followed it. Capitalism only functions equitably if workers have the collective bargaining power of unions, so they can claim a fair share of the economic pie. [Emphasis added]
In terms of countering the decline of working- and middle-class income growth, Kennedy said the U.S. ought to impose tariffs on foreign imports to protect its workforce and domestic industries from widespread offshoring of American jobs at the hands of multinational corporations.
“As President, I will protect American labor AND American industry,” Kennedy wrote on Twitter. “One thing I will consider: tariffs on imports from countries that allow exploitation of workers. American industries should not be forced to offshore to low-wage areas as nations compete with each other to sacrifice wages and working conditions in a ‘race to the bottom.'”
While free trade and trade deficits have eliminated millions of American jobs, devastating working- and middle-class communities, tariffs would likely drive up domestic production, increase wages, and reshore jobs to the U.S., research has shown.
A recent study from economists at the Coalition for a Prosperous America, for instance, finds that tariffs on nearly all foreign imports would create about ten million American jobs while boosting domestic output.
As Kennedy mentioned, middle-class wealth has dropped to a historic low.
The middle class, as of 2021, includes 77.5 million U.S. households with an annual income of $27,000 to $141,000. In October 2021, Breitbart News reported the top one percent of income earners in the U.S. now hold more wealth than the entire American middle class.
Specifically, the middle class has seen its share of national wealth plummet to just 26.6 percent while the top one percent’s share of wealth has grown to 27 percent — the first time in U.S. history that the top one percent’s share of wealth has outpaced the middle class’s share of wealth.

The Decline and Fall of the American Empire
A cursory examination of history reveals that the United States is mired in the same process that precipitated the collapse of the great empires of the past. The foibles and failures of human nature and their impact on the rise and fall of empires is amazingly consistent and the end result always inevitable. Can this nation avoid a similar fate?
Empires are defined as great military and economic powers encompassing large occupied or controlled land areas. Although they vary greatly, they average around 250 years in duration. The United States will be celebrating its 250th anniversary in 2026.
In 1976, Sir John Glubb , a distinguished British diplomat and general, wrote an essay on the fate of empires throughout history. He enumerated, based on 3,000 years of historical data, the six various stages in the rise and fall of empires.
These stages and how they apply to the United States are as follows:
The Age of Pioneers (The Revolutionary War and the founding of the Nation) The Age of Conquests (The Western Expansion to the Pacific Ocean) The Age of Commerce (Industrialization and evolution of a dominant middle class) The Age of Affluence (The meteoric rise of the standard of living in the 20th Century) The Age of Intellect (Global domination in the arts, medicine and technology) The Age of Decadence (For 30+ years America has been increasingly mired in this age ) The Age of Decadence is marked by debauchery, defensiveness, pessimism, materialism, a significant weakening of religion, frivolity, a welfare state, and a massive influx of unassimilated foreigners. These symptoms of national decadence are the end product of long periods of prosperity and power, love of wealth and status, and self-obsession by the ruling elites leading to fateful government corruption and instability.
Sir John Glubb is definitive in stating that in all ancient and modern fallen empires, “there does not appear to be any doubt that money is the agent which causes the decline of strong, brave and self-confident people.”
An examination of various empires from the Persian Empire to the Roman Empire to the British Empire confirms Glubb’s hypothesis that pursuit and accumulation of money or wealth is the portal through which power over the masses is achieved. The amassing of wealth and thus power evolves into a quasi-religion that over time triggers the descent into the age of decadence and corruption that inevitably leads to the collapse and conquering of empires by their external enemies.
In the early stage of the age of decadence, materialism becomes a driving force in society, inducing many in the upper classes to indulge in excessive, often conspicuous consumption as an absurdly wealthy elite emerges. Far too many societal elites and non-elites become convinced that increased consumption and social status is the key to happiness, but in its pursuit they become demonstrably more pessimistic and less happy and fulfilled.
The search for happiness and fulfillment leads to imprudence and voyeurism becoming central to the culture. Unhappy people searching for diversion became fixated on celebrities and captive to evolving voyeurism. And voyeurism takes on a more sinister aspect as people in both ancient and modern empires become increasingly desensitized to graphic images and willing spectators or participants in violence and debauchery.
Debauchery is an oft-recurring theme in the demise of empires. Societies develop an abnormally immature obsession with sex. An obsession that requires increasing deviancy to satiate coupled with concurrent abuse of children and the marginalization and exploitation of women. Meanwhile, the use of drugs and alcohol expands exponentially. Debauchery is a symptom of the absence of meaning in people’s lives leading to the self-destruction of society and concomitantly a loss of a sense of duty and patriotism.
Other symptoms common among many empires in the last stages of decline include:
Massive and growing disparities between rich and poor and an undisciplined and over-extended military. An intensification of internal political hatreds and a corresponding inability to reconcile in order to save the empire. An ever increasing level of self-serving corruption and patronage among the ruling class. A massive influx of unassimilated foreigners whose allegiance and cultural ties are with their native lands and not the host nation and who do not feel obligated to defend the empire. Severe financial and economic crises linked to the unending debasement of the currency. An ongoing and irreversible decline in monotheistic religions that emphasize self-sacrifice, temperance, a sense of duty as well as honor and integrity. Additionally, while the decline of empires is precipitated by internal factors, the final collapse is marked by defeat at the hands of powerful external enemies. The United States is presently facing an implacable and powerful external enemy, Communist China. A foe this nation’s elites, in their self-indulgent pursuit of wealth, essentially created by willfully intertwining the American economy with a ruthless and dictatorial communist regime.
Unfortunately, the vast bulk of the American citizenry is not aware of the historically precarious situation this nation finds itself. Nor are they aware that the policies and actions of the Marxist controlled Democrat party over the past 20 years is a window into what will happen to this nation if they continue in power. Another four to eight years of Democrat Party rule will permanently embed:
Unchecked corruption in government and America’s corporations and institutions. The ongoing debasement of the currency, uncontrolled spending and economic instability, The continued massive influx of unassimilated foreigners, The intensification of political animosity and the persecution of any political opposition, An undisciplined, ideologically driven and feckless military incapable of confronting China, Drug-addled and crime-ridden dystopias in America’s major urban and suburban areas, Continued and accelerated mainstreaming of decadence and sexual debauchery As the last three years have amply proven, decadence and sexual debauchery will continue apace. All forms of deviancy, including but not limited to pedophilia, will be forcefully mainstreamed. Religious liberties will be denigrated and curtailed. Infanticide and state-sponsored euthanasia will be legalized. Materialism and voyeurism will become the new state religion. And virtually all drugs will be legalized and easily available.
As the United States descends into insolvency, societal chaos and upheaval, Communist China, with which the Democrat party is intertwined, will actively abet and promote the dissolution of this country as it will be waiting vulture-like to feast on the carcass.
The inevitable can perhaps be mitigated if a significant majority of the populace acknowledges the current plight of the nation and initiates a return to the nation’s founding Judeo-Christian principles. Additionally, it is imperative that either Donald Trump or Ron DeSantis wins in November of 2024 and for a populist Republican Party to control both the presidency and Congress for a minimum of two presidential terms.
Republican primary voters must also acknowledge reality and not be captive to cultlike sycophancy for either Trump or DeSantis. They need to ask themselves: who can win against a corrupt and devious Democrat party reliant on voter fraud and manipulation in the battleground states of Georgia, Arizona, Wisconsin, Nevada and Pennsylvania?
It is not hyperbole to say the upcoming election cycle is the most determinative in American history. If the Republicans fail to win the presidency and Congress in 2024, this nation will have passed the point of no return and a new chapter in the annals of the decline and fall of great nations will be written.

Biden Admin Defends Ford’s Work on China’s ‘Belt & Road Initiative’ State Department says project will bring Beijing in line with ESG guidelines

The Biden administration is defending Ford Motor Company’s work on a flagship project of China’s controversial Belt and Road Initiative, saying the American company’s involvement will help bring Beijing more in line with progressive investment standards.
Ford boasts about its partnership with a Chinese mining company on "one of the flagship projects under the Belt and Road Initiative," which U.S. officials have called a military and economic security threat. But in a letter to Sen. Marco Rubio (R., Fla.), State Department Assistant Secretary of Legislative Affairs Naz Durakoglu indicated that the Biden administration’s main concern with China’s Belt and Road Initiative is that the companies involved have "poor labor and ESG records." ESG is an acronym for a progressive-backed investment strategy that stands for "environmental, social, and corporate governance."
The letter, which was obtained by the Washington Free Beacon , suggests the Biden administration is no longer directly opposing the Belt and Road Initiative, and is now focused on improving the labor conditions of Beijing’s operation. The news comes over a month after the U.S. ambassador to Indonesia, Sung Kim, praised Ford’s partnership with China’s Zhejiang Huayou Cobalt Company on a nickel production facility in Indonesia. Rubio asked the State Department to investigate Kim’s comments in a letter earlier this month, to which Durakoglu has now replied.
Durakoglu said the Biden administration was concerned that the People’s Republic of China was using the Belt and Road Initiative to "advance its geopolitical strategy via PRC-controlled businesses with poor labor and ESG records."
"[China]-controlled mining companies in Indonesia that are not affiliated with U.S. companies generally maintain poor labor and environmental standards but currently dominate the Indonesian nickel sector," wrote Durakoglu. "Indonesian officials, including President Widodo, are focused on attracting additional countries’ firms to invest in the sector to raise labor and ESG standards."
Durakoglu added that the State Department "welcome[s] Indonesia’s aspirations to improve labor and ESG practices in this critical sector."
China’s "Belt and Road Initiative" is a massive, multi-continent infrastructure project that U.S. officials have described as a global security threat. The United States government has urged other countries not to participate in the initiative.
In 2021, President Joe Biden launched the "Build Back Better World" project, also known as "B3W," which was intended to counter the Belt and Road Initiative. But since then, there has been little public reporting on the American program’s progress.
The State Department did not respond to a request for comment.

Classified documents were transported from then-Vice President Joe Biden’s safekeeping to the Penn Biden Center, where they were kept in an unlocked closet and remained accessible to center employees and potentially others, House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-KY) revealed Tuesday after an interview with Biden’s former assistant, Kathy Chung.
Chung, who current Biden administration officials appear to blame for the mishandling of Biden’s classified documents, told Comer that Biden’s classified documents remained unsecured at the Penn Biden Center for years and remained accessible to her until May 2022.
“This story does not begin in November 2022, as represented by President Biden’s attorney,” Comer said in a statement. “[T]hen-White House Counsel Dana Remus tasked Kathy Chung with retrieving these boxes from the Penn Biden Center as early as May 2022.”
Public records reported by the New York Post suggest that Chinese Communist Party-linked individuals or entities donated at least $54 million between 2014 and 2019 to the Penn Biden Center.
According to a CNN source, the classified documents found at Biden’s “private office” at the center pertain to Iran, the U.K., and Ukraine, where the Biden family conducted business deals.
On Monday, Comer raised concerns about Biden’s classified document scandal in connection with the Biden family business schemes. “We don’t the know the true extent of what he [Joe Biden] has done,” Comer said. “All we know is he had classified documents scattered all over the place dating back to the time as U.S. senator.”
“There is one document in particular that I can tell you from my investigation of Biden family influence peddling that we are very concerned about with respect to the document that Hunter Biden sent to officials at Burisma in Ukraine,” Comer said. “It was a government document. We are concerned that it may have been one of the classified documents.”
Comer’s investigation comes as Chung was hired as Joe Biden’s assistant after a recommendation from Hunter Biden. Chung appears in numerous email threads on Hunter’s “laptop from hell,” including Hunter’s correspondence to Chung about being hired as Joe Biden’s assistant.
According to Legistorm, Chung worked for Joe Biden until January 19, 2017, right before Joe Biden left the vice presidency. However, she told Comer she was tasked by a former White House lawyer to access the documents as recently as May 2022, contradicting statements from Joe Biden’s lawyers about the timeline of events.
The White House has failed to fully explain why Joe Biden’s lawyers were looking through the Penn Biden Center papers on November 2 when the classified documents were discovered.
Notably, the classified document scandal was leaked to CBS News on January 9, weeks after the initial trove was found by Biden’s personal lawyers in November. The establishment media has reported at least three times that Biden and the DOJ agreed to hide the scandal from public view with likely no plans to disclose it.
Joe Biden is currently under investigation by Special Counsel Robert Hur in connection with classified documents found at his Wilmington home and in his office at the Penn Biden Center.

Republicans must be “hammering” away at illegal immigration as “economic warfare” against working- and middle-class Americans, Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH) told Breitbart News.
In an exclusive interview with SiriusXM Patriot’s Breitbart News Saturday , Vance called on Republicans to discuss illegal immigration as a fixture of “the cheap labor lobby” which seeks to inflate the United States labor market to drive down wages and employ an underclass of cheaper foreign workers with little-to-no bargaining power.

“Republicans cannot stop hammering this stuff … we cannot ignore the cheap labor lobby is why we have this problem,” Vance said of the surge of illegal immigration that has occurred on Biden’s watch.
In addition to driving down wages and increasing foreign competition against Americans in the labor market, Vance said illegal immigration has a huge impact on housing prices as more demand means higher costs and bigger payouts for real estate developers and landlords.
“Think of the effects that this has on working Americans’ wages to have 10 million more people who shouldn’t be here competing for jobs,” Vance said. “Think about what this does for housing prices, when you have to house 10 million people that shouldn’t be here, that drives up the costs of housing when interest rates are already through the roof.”
“This is economic warfare and theft of the American dream from American citizens, that is the big problem here and that’s why we have to keep fighting it,” he continued.
Vance echoed that sentiment during an interview with Breitbart News Editor-in-Chief Alex Marlow on the Charlie Kirk Show , detailing how Americans looking to buy their first home or move into a new property are put at a disadvantage as they are forced to compete for housing against a growing foreign population.

“If you’ve gone to a hospital or emergency room and you’ve seen the wait times be way too long because there are a number of illegal aliens getting healthcare, you’re seeing the effects of Ohio being a border state,” Vance said.
“If you’ve tried to buy a house and you’ve seen the effects of skyrocketing housing costs and interest rates, you’re seeing the effects of Ohio as a border state because when you bring in 10 million people illegally, you’ve got to house them somewhere, and houses that should go to American citizens right now are going to people who should not be here in the first place,” he continued.
Vance said President Joe Biden and his Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas are “not even hiding” their intended goal anymore, noting remarks made last week where the agency head seemingly admitted that illegal immigration is a boon for business.
Meanwhile, labor market data has shown that Biden is growing the U.S. workforce by funneling millions of border crossers, illegal aliens, foreign visa workers, and legal immigrants into American jobs, while leaving millions of working- and middle-class Americans on the sidelines.
In the fourth quarter of 2022, for example, close to two million fewer native-born Americans were working in jobs compared to the same time in 2019, while two million foreign-born workers were added to the workforce.
A flooded labor market from mass immigration has had a devastating impact on working- and middle-class Americans, while redistributing billions in wealth to the top one percent of earners and big business. While creating an economy that tilts in favor of employers, the mass immigration economic model has helped keep wages stagnant for decades.

Mass Migration Putting ‘Unbearable’ Strain on Housing Market, as Hundreds of Thousands of New Homes Needed to Meet Demand Last week, it was revealed that rather than fulfilling very longstanding promises to the public of reducing migration, the governing Conservative Party under Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has overseen yet another record in terms of net migration, with 1.2 million foreigners moving to Britain in 2022. Once those who left the country in that period were taken to account, the nation was left with a record-breaking 606,000 net migration figure.
The greatest retirement crisis in U.S. history has already begun, and official agencies are warning about the looming catastrophe that is about to hit older Americans. Without enough savings or assets, 80% of households with older adults are at risk of falling into economic insecurity as they age. But don’t be mistaken -- the impact on younger generations will be just as disastrous, they say. With seniors staying longer in the workforce to be able to make ends meet, younger workers are losing precious opportunities to advance their careers and start saving for retirement, too. A new analysis by Fidelity Investments exposes that this snowballing crisis is going to lower everyone’s standard of living over the next few years and continue to widen the inequality gap that is leaving each generation a little poorer than the one before.
According to Ronald P. O'Hanley, the firm’s president of asset management and corporate services, millions of older Americans are now headed for destitute financial futures and old ages spent in poverty. "I'm not sure what would be worse," he continued, "millions of elderly unable to house and feed themselves, or the intergenerational strife that surely would erupt if young people are forced to lower their standard of living to pay for our failure to act in a timely manner to avert this crisis."
Fidelity data shows that today, 40% of retiree households do not have sufficient income to cover their monthly expenses, O'Hanley said. "Well over half of all Americans have less than $25,000 in total savings, not counting the value of their primary residence or pension plans. And 28 percent have put aside less than $1,000."
A recent survey from the American Advisors Group detailed that 47% of seniors rated the conditions of their retirement savings as poor and 44% said they had not saved enough to retire comfortably. At the same time, 62% of adult children are worried that the cost of living crisis is impacting their parent's retirement savings, with many (35%) worried they'll have to help their senior parents financially.
Amid this anxiety over whether their parents will have enough retirement savings, a growing number of adults are planning about using their parents' home equity as a financial solution, the survey said. However, only 18% of those 62 and older would benefit from using their home equity to pay for long-term care and other expenses, should the need arise. The remaining 82% may actually not have enough home equity to cover these costs due to the ongoing correction in housing prices and the economic recession that is upon us.
For that very reason, about a third of Americans over traditional retirement age, between 65 and 74, are expected to be still working in 2030. The increase in older workers staying on their jobs is causing concerns amongst business owners, too because employers have been expecting their expensive older workers to retire which would open senior-level jobs for younger workers looking to advance their careers.
In other words, the current retirement crisis is reaching such alarming proportions that other generations are missing key opportunities to become financially independent, debt-free, and able to build wealth to afford their own retirements when the time arrives. This is going to create major distortions in our economy and continue to impoverish younger Americans, who may never enjoy the same standard of living their parents and grandparents once had. At the end of the day, this crisis is going to impact each and every one of us as it erodes our quality of life and delays our collective growth.

The Federalist, Excerpt: The Biden administration has repeatedly blamed the border crisis on human smugglers who spread “disinformation” that the border is “open.” As someone who has interviewed thousands of U.S.-bound immigrants over the last several years, I can confidently attest that this narrative is a fabrication.

It’s a policy choice. Nevertheless, the Biden administration and allied media are speaking of the massive influx at the southern border as if it were a hurricane or a business-cycle recession — a common but unpredictable phenomenon that the current president just happens to be stuck with. That’s why a reporter recently demanded that Ted Cruz explain what he has been doing to secure the border in his time as a Texas senator. It’s also why the administration insisted that the initial surge in 2021 was “seasonal ,” then began to redirect blame to “root causes ,” and now finally complains that Congress should have passed reform legislation 20 years ago.
TOP STORIES The truth is that the Biden administration has chosen to allow millions of migrants to enter the U.S. without visas. In fact, rarely in public policy is cause and effect as obvious as it is here. The Trump administration had ended the massive flows principally by requiring asylum seekers to remain in Mexico while their cases were adjudicated. Because most of these asylum seekers were actually economic migrants who are ineligible for asylum under traditional rules, they simply went home rather than wait for the hearing. Their failure to gain entry then discouraged other would-be migrants from making the trip.
President Biden moved to abandon the Remain in Mexico policy upon taking office, sparking new migrant waves. Unwilling or unable to detain all of these new asylum applicants pending a hearing, his administration is releasing them into the U.S. on “parole.” As my colleague George Fishman has explained , Congress did not intend the president’s parole power to be an end-run around the legal immigration system. Parole is for “urgent humanitarian reasons” or a “significant public benefit,” each determined “only on a case-by-case basis.” Many presidents have abused the parole authority, but the Biden administration has taken the abuse to a new level by waving through visa-less migrants on a mass scale, even to the point of offering parole to hundreds of thousands of people who have yet to travel to the U.S.
Potential migrants from all around the world have watched and learned, and now they’re making the trip themselves. Rather than stopping them, the administration is merely trying to steer them away from the unmanned sections of the border and toward ports of entry, where they can receive parole with immediate work permits, plus eligibility for most federal welfare programs within five years. No end to the flow is in sight, and why would there be?
A virtually open-door immigration policy appears to be the new normal as long as a Democrat occupies the White House. The political ramifications of this development are difficult to overstate. For one thing, a legislative compromise that exchanges amnesty for reduced immigration is now even less plausible than before, owing to the loss of any remaining trust. After all, if a presidential administration is willing to turn a limited provision such as parole into a license to admit whomever it wants in whatever numbers it wants, it is difficult to imagine any new statutory language that would compel enforcement. A Democratic president can pocket whatever amnesty Republicans offer, continue to admit migrants without visas, then claim another amnesty is necessary.
There is a broader ramification as well. Put simply, uncontrolled immigration is anathema to the conservative movement. It changes the culture in ways both obvious and subtle. It undermines the shared sense of purpose and belonging that undergirds strong communities. It welcomes entire groups of people into the U.S. without the consent of Congress. Naturally, Republicans feel betrayed by their counterparts’ open defiance of immigration controls. There is much concern these days about norm violations and breakdown of the rule of law. Facilitating illegal immigration is surely an example of both. How much of this can our democracy endure?

Gilberto Alarcon-Holguin, known as Beto, arrived in the United States and was indicted on charges "of conspiracy and possession with intent to distribute cocaine and conspiracy to launder the illicit proceeds charges," according to the Justice Department.
Law enforcement seized around $2.6 million from Beto during an investigation that allegedly proved his role in the cocaine smuggling operations. Mexico is said to have supported and aided the investigation, along with the Department of Homeland Security and FBI.
US Slaps Sanctions on Chinese and Mexican Targets Over Fentanyl Production A DEA agent checks pills containing fentanyl / Getty Images WASHINGTON (Reuters)—The U.S. on Tuesday imposed sanctions on 17 people and entities based in China and Mexico who it accused of enabling counterfeit, fentanyl-laced pill production, as the Biden administration seeks to stem imports of the deadly drug.
The U.S. Treasury Department in a statement said it slapped sanctions on seven entities and six people based in China, as well as one business and three people based in Mexico.
It accused those targeted of being involved in the sale of pill press machines and other equipment used to impress counterfeit trade markings onto illicitly produced pills, often laced with fentanyl and destined for the United States.
"Treasury’s sanctions target every stage of the deadly supply chain fueling the surge in fentanyl poisonings and deaths across the country," the Treasury's Under Secretary for Terrorism and Financial Intelligence, Brian Nelson, said in the statement.
"Counterfeit pills laced with fentanyl constitute a leading cause of these deaths, devastating thousands of American families each year. We remain committed to using all authorities against enablers of illicit drug production to disrupt this deadly global production and counter the threat posed by these drugs."
The rate of drug overdose deaths involving the synthetic opioid fentanyl more than tripled in the United States from 2016 through 2021, according to a report by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) released earlier this month.
Fentanyl is up to 50 times stronger than heroin and 100 times stronger than morphine, and has increasingly been mixed with other illicit drugs often with lethal results.
The Biden administration has been pushing for action as U.S. drug-related overdose deaths surpassed 100,000 in 2021, according to government estimates.
Washington has been seeking greater help from Beijing in stemming the illicit flow of fentanyl "precursor" chemicals from China, but U.S. officials have told Reuters that Chinese counterparts have been reluctant to cooperate as relations between the two countries have soured.

The Biden administration has resumed the public disclosure of sensitive nuclear data as part of a treaty with Russia that Moscow pulled out of months ago, providing the country with critical information about America's offensive capabilities at a time when Russian president Vladimir Putin is threatening to launch an atomic war in Europe.
The United States earlier this month began publishing —after a two-month pause—detailed information about its offensive nuclear capabilities as part of the New START treaty, an arms transparency pact that Moscow stopped implementing in February amid its war in Ukraine. Defense experts warn that pulling out of New START is part of Putin's plan to bolster a nuclear Russia—and lawmakers share their concerns.
"In the interest of transparency and the U.S. commitment to responsible nuclear conduct, the United States is voluntarily releasing aggregate data for its nuclear forces," the State Department said in a May 12 announcement that included detailed information about America's ballistic missiles, nuclear warheads, and heavy bombers.
The data were released just days before Moscow deployed tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus, a major escalation potentially made in response to the new information about America's capabilities. Defense hawks on Capitol Hill said they are baffled by the Biden administration's decision to publish sensitive nuclear data at a time when Russia is not only hiding its own capabilities but also threatening to start an atomic war in Eastern Europe.
"The U.S. is making concessions while our adversaries and enemies proliferate their nuclear arsenals," Sen. Ted Cruz (R., Texas), a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, told the Washington Free Beacon . "Worse, the Biden administration seems to be proud about it. This is bizarre behavior, and a reckless threat to American national security."
The State Department's data dump is only the latest foreign policy issue to land the White House in the hot seat. Members of the House China Committee raised concerns earlier this month that the United States is ill-equipped to combat China, and a government watchdog concluded that America's missile defense system is in tatters.
Cruz says the Biden administration's commitment to implementing New START is on par with its dedication to implementing the 2015 nuclear deal with Iran, even as Tehran "is brazenly violating" the agreement.
The State Department says its voluntary release of sensitive U.S. military data is "especially important in periods of high tension."
But Michael Rubin, a former Pentagon adviser and military analyst at the American Enterprise Institute, said the Biden administration's commitment to New START will not moderate a leader like Putin.
"Transparency might sound good in theory, but exposing secrets isn't going to moderate Putin," Rubin said. "To the contrary, it will only help him plan as he seeks his own nuclear dominance."
This kind of thinking, Rubin said, suggests that "it's time for a serious purge of our national security and diplomatic bureaucracy. No one should ever gain decision-making authority absent any experience in the real world, divorced from the government teat."
Moscow said last week that it is moving forward with the deployment of tactical nukes in Belarus, its first movement of these weapons outside its borders since 1991.
Russia is believed to have around 2,000 operable tactical warheads at its disposal, while the United States has just 200, half of which are based in Europe, according to Reuters. While Putin has vowed to use nuclear weapons as part of its offensive operations in Ukraine, American officials reportedly believe he is bluffing.
Defense experts, however, say Putin is increasingly relying on nuclear blackmail to achieve victory in Ukraine.
"Suspending New START is just the latest in a larger trend of Russia's increasing reliance on nuclear weapons," Heather Williams, an atomic weapons analyst at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, wrote in a recent policy analysis. "Vladimir Putin is telling the world who he is. He is a nuclear bully, attempting to use nuclear weapons to deter conventional Western support and intervention."
The release of the New START data could also prove useful to China, North Korea, and Iran, which are seeking to counter America's nuclear forces while growing their own.

Since Biden’s inauguration, the University of Pennsylvania has disclosed at least $14 million in donations from China or Hong Kong, the Free Beacon reported last week. The names of these donors have yet to be disclosed by the Department of Education, breaking the precedent of prior administrations which published foreign donor names in a public database.
As the San Francisco Chronicle noted , the Chinese spy on Feinstein’s staff for 20 years even attended Chinese Consulate functions for the senator, who has her own version of Hunter Biden. As Ben Weingarten reported in the Federalist in 2018, Feinstein’s husband Richard Blum has “profited handsomely from the greatly expanded China trade she supported.”
Schweizer said, “Biden’s lawyer claims that his client did resign, and has produced a document from Hunter’s China-based company saying as much. Maybe. But Hunter’s attorney did not address the more important problem – the fact that Hunter still owns a piece of the Chinese company, called BHR.”
“[BHR] is an investment vehicle, financed by the government of China, which has conducted at least two-point-five billion dollars worth of deals,” added Schweizer, “and Hunter Biden has a ten percent equity piece of that.”

House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy said Saturday on FNC’s “One Nation” that he will bring the 51 intel agents that signed a letter that said the Hunter Biden information was Russia collusion to testify at a congressional hearing.
Host Brian Kilmeade asked, “We saw the revelations coming out of Twitter as Elon Musk is unmasking the corruption that existed there and the denials that they testified about. So for you personally you have another move you want to make. Not only do we want to hear from the former executives of Twitter and the other entities, but you have something else you want to say.”
McCarthy said, Yeah, I do. This is egregious what we are finding. They should not have section 230 to start out with, but we also have to go further. What did Facebook and Google do as well because they became an arm of the Democratic Party and an arm of government.”

The Group the Chinese Communists Fear the Most By Jeffrey Folks
I have rarely heard it mentioned in the mainstream media, but, according to reports, during the 1990s in communist China, thirty thousand members of Falun Gong were rounded up and executed. The founder of Falun Gong, Li Hongzhi, fled China and now lives in the U.S., while in China members of the order went underground. According to Freedom House, "Falun Gong practitioners across China have since [July 1999] been subjected to widespread surveillance, arbitrary detention, horrific torture, and extrajudicial killing — abuses which continue today." Nonetheless, there are still some 100 million practitioners worldwide, and the movement continues to grow.
Information concerning the repression of Falun Gong is a Chinese state secret, with severe penalties for anyone attempting to obtain data. As the Falun Data Infocenter puts it : "The CCP has also used political and financial influence around the world to either keep journalists silent, or drive false narratives about Falun Gong." With total control inside China and compliance by foreign journalists, the Chinese Communist Party has driven a false narrative that minimizes the number of Falun Gong practitioners and hides data on the number of those abducted, tortured, killed, and killed for their organs, thus totally obscuring the record. At the same time, Chinese and foreign media continue to suggest that the victim i s the abuser: the false idea that Falun Gong is a cult with dangerous potential.
For anyone who has studied the history of or practiced Falun Gong, the enormity of this continuing abuse and misinformation is obvious. Falun gong is a benign practice of meditation, exercise, and moral instruction with no political ties of any sort, but it is often represented, even by well-meaning Western journalists, as a "cult" or as a right-wing anti-CCP organization, as in a recent article in the Guardian, relying heavily on statements by Media Matters. According to the article, Falun Gong and its associated media, including the Epoch Times, have engaged in "conspiracy narratives" targeting Democrats and the Chinese Communist Party and of "links" between Joe Biden and the CCP. In fact, a great deal of evidence is emerging in the Comer investigation to show that those links are far from being conspiracy narratives. If those journalists would do their homework, beginning with studying Falun Gong websites and the book Zhuan Falun by Li Hongzhi, instead of relying on the well funded Chinese "zero out" campaign, they would realize that Falun Gong is an uplifting instruction based on traditional, conservative Chinese practices.
The story of the Chinese government crackdown on Falun Gong is a classic example of totalitarian intolerance of competing ideas, and it involves both propaganda and physical terror. A careful examination of the record proves that the response of the communist Chinese regime is not very different from that of ancient regimes toward their own enslaved peoples. Despite their vast power, totalitarian leaders are fearful and at times even paranoid, as was Stalin, and the flip-side of fear is repression.
In reality, Falun Gong is a complex spiritual practice involving qijong-like exercises, positive thinking, and moral belief based on truthfulness, compassion, and forbearance. As a practitioner myself, I know how Falun Gong can transform an individual from illness to health, confusion to knowledge, and intolerance to open-mindedness. It is obvious to me how a totalitarian regime would view Falun Gong as a threat, as indeed it would be to any form of deceit, corruption, or intolerance. As Falun Gong spread in China during the 1990s, at one point with 60 to 100 million followers in China alone, the practice became a threat to a government that had once encouraged it as a healthy "money-saving" vehicle and a social safety valve for a dissatisfied citizenry. Yet within months, beginning in July 1999, perhaps 100,000 followers were arrested and 30,000 executed. Even now, nearly 4,000 practitioners were arrested in 2021 (latest figures).
It is critical to consider the magnitude of this repression, with between two and four million Falun Gong followers "detained" in forced labor camps between 2000 and 2008 alone. Chinese policy toward Falun Gong is similar to the more widely publicized repression of Uyghurs, 1.5 million of whom have reportedly been detained in China, with hundreds of thousands of others subjected to forced sterilization, forced abortion, and religious suppression, and with the razing or damaging of 16,000 mosques. Like totalitarian regimes of the past, the CCP appears willing to employ the most ruthless tactics in order to secure its hold on the country.
Though Falun Gong is not a political movement, the exponential growth of Falun Gong during the 1990s might well have pressured authorities to change, and as soon as China's leaders recognized this threat, they suppressed Falun Gong with a heavy hand. One could hardly be truthful, compassionate, and forbearing and lend one's support to a communist regime governed by a few thousand members of the political elite intent on benefiting from their rule at the expense of the general population. Falun Gong teaches a form of gentleness and goodness that threatens the lies and violence of any totalitarian government.
One must ask: if the Chinese communists are willing to imprison millions of ethnic and religious minorities and to murder tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands, what are they capable of in the future? How many lives are they willing to expend in a takeover of Taiwan? And once Taiwan is taken, how many Taiwanese will they imprison and execute? In the event of a war with Japan or with the United States, how many are they willing to see die, on both sides? And if Chinese communism were ever to achieve world domination, what kind of future could we expect? As Christians, probably something not unlike what the Uyghurs and Falun Gong have already experienced.
At the same time, the specter of Chinese repression should open our eyes to the remarkable value of our own system of democratic capitalism. The CCP has diminished Falun Gong in China, but, like all religious and spiritual practices, Falun Gong has found a safe home in America, at least in principle, though the Biden administration continues to restrict religious practice, to challenge religious rights in the courts and in agency practices, and to unleash the power of agencies like the Justice Department and IRS against the open practice of religion. Many of the same tactics adopted in communist China are accepted by progressives in our own country, including the encouragement of birth control and abortion, even late-term abortion and infanticide after birth.
For the present, there is still a difference between totalitarianism and democracy as practiced in the USA. Now is a time when American citizens, media, government, and corporations need to see clearly that communist China is a totalitarian government and to recognize what it is capable of. China's record toward Falun Gong, a violent repression that continues today, is one element in a string of crackdowns and arrests. We do not need to send a balloon over China to understand the nature of their regime, but we do need to recognize the enormity of its abuses and take appropriate actions to defend ourselves.

Democrats Dodge the Real Reparations How about all the damage caused by the China virus and Islamic terror?

“As a nation, we can only truly thrive when every one of us has the opportunity to thrive. Our painful history of slavery has evolved into structural racism and bias built into and permeating throughout our democratic and economic institutions.”
That was California Gov. Gavin Newsom in a September 30 signing statement for Assembly Bill 3121 which “establishes a nine-member task force to inform Californians about slavery and explore ways the state might provide reparations.” For all its faults, California was never part of the Confederacy, and Californians might wonder about a stronger case for reparations from damages caused by the China virus.
Evidence points to the Wuhan Institute of Virology, recipient of funds from the U.S. National Institutes of Health, which banned “gain of function” research in 2014 because of danger that a manipulated virus might be released into the population. The NIH revived the dangerous research in 2017 but kept it secret. The Wuhan Institute was an ideal place to hide gain of function, and Anthony Fauci backed the lab with more than $7 million. Dr. Fauci has been evasive about what, exactly, went on at Wuhan but there can be no dispute about the aftermath.
The China virus claimed more than 200,000 deaths in the United States alone and touched three leaders of G7 nations: President Trump, British prime minister Boris Johnson, and Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau, whose wife Sophie tested positive for the coronavirus in March. The economic damages are undeniable: millions unemployed, businesses going bankrupt, mounting debt, and all the social wreckage now on display.
President Trump is on record that this was all “China’s fault,” and China is going to pay “a big price” for what they’ve done to the United States and the world. One U.S. state is already taking measures. In April, Missouri attorney general Eric Schmitt filed a lawsuit charging that Chinese Communist officials are “ responsible for the enormous death , suffering, and economic losses they inflicted on the world, including Missourians.” For Sen. Dianne Feinstein, California Democrat, the Missouri lawsuit was the problem.
“We launch a series of unknown events that could be very, very dangerous ,” said Feinstein in a July 30, Senate Judiciary Committee hearing. “I think this is a huge mistake.” And Feinstein had only praise for China, “as a country that has pulled tens of millions of people out of poverty in a short period of time” and as “a country growing into a respectable nation among other nations. And I deeply believe that. I’ve been to China a number of times. I’ve studied the issues.”
Indeed, as Feinstein told James Areddy of the Wall Street Journal during a 2006 visit to Shanghai, the San Francisco Democrat had been coming to the Communist nation for 31 years. Feinstein compared Tiananmen Square to Kent State, and as Rosemarie Ho reported in The Nation , Democrats in general and Feinstein in particular ignored the Communist crackdown against Hong Kong.

None of this has touched off an investigation, which confirms that FBI favors for Democrats go far beyond Hillary Clinton. A party that functions as a cheerleader for China will not seek any reparations from China, or any other entity that has inflicted vast damage on the United States.
On September 11, 2001, Islamic terrorists claimed nearly 3,000 American lives and caused billions in damages. If that not a case for reparations, it is hard to know what one would look like. Democrats made no case, and the president formerly known as Barry Soetoro shipped billions in cash to Iran, the major sponsor of terrorism in the world.
President Trump pushed back on terrorism, taking out Iranian master terrorist Soleimani and ISIS boss al-Baghdadi. Democrats were critical of these actions, and their diversionary push for slavery reparations has no merit. Neither does Gov. Newsom’s charge of “structural racism,” which as David Azerrad explains , lacks proof on the historical, legislative, and even the subconscious level.
The nation can only thrive, Gov. Newsom contends, “when every one of us has the opportunity to thrive.” As it happens, the most powerful figure in recent California history is the African American Willie Brown. The thriving assembly speaker set up his girlfriend Kamala Harris in lucrative sinecures and backed her career all the way to candidacy for what she has called a “ Harris administration. ”
Meanwhile, old-money Democrats are grooming Gov. Newsom for a presidential run in 2024. Should he succeed, the nation would never get reparations for terrorism or the China virus. On the other hand, the entire nation would soon look like California, whose rapid decline reminds Bill Maher of “Italy in the 70s or something. ” As President Trump says, we’ll have to see what happens.

Hunter Biden, Joe Biden’s second son, still owns a ten-percent stake in Chinese company Bohai Harvest RST (BHR), an investment firm he co-founded with funding from the Bank of China, noted Peter Schweizer, president of the government accountability Institute, senior contributor to Breitbart News, and author of Profiles in Corruption: Abuse of Power by America’s Progressive Elite .
In episode 17 of the Drill Down , entitled “ Hunter Biden’s Chinese Fortune ,” Schweizer noted that Hunter Biden has not divested from BHR despite his father’s presidential campaign.
“The idea that Hunter could still profit off of the Chinese government if his father becomes president remains an incredible potential conflict [of interest],” observed Schweizer. “A conflict that seems all the more troubling when Joe Biden continues to dismiss China as a geopolitical threat.”
Hunter Biden’s lawyer claimed his client resigned from BHR’s board of directors, issuing a letter to this effect via the Washington Post. In September 2019, Schweizer highlighted the Washington Post ‘s broad omissions in reporting on Hunter Biden’s foreign business dealings during his father’s vice-presidential tenure.
The Washington Post ‘s Glenn Kessler framed the aforementioned letter as a response to “Trump folks,” omitting any mention of Hunter Biden’s ongoing ownership stake in BHR.

Our bill of particulars for Impeachment can have many clauses, but there is no need to go any further than the President’s clear refusal to enforce existing immigration laws for more than two years, and to invite and allow a literal invasion on our southern border.
