THE DEMOCRAT PARTY OF GAMER LAWIER BRIBES SUCKERS - Now, I'm just saying: why this stubborn bipartisan loyalty that flies in the face of, really, the off-the-wall geopolitical and domestic disaster that Joe Biden has wrought upon us all?

“Protect and enrich.” This is a perfect encapsulation of the Clinton Foundation  (TWO GAMER LAWYERS) (WHAT ABOUT THE CHINA BIDEN PENN CENTER?)  and the Obama (TWO GAMER LAWYERS) book and television deals. Then there is the Biden family (FOUR GAMER LAWYERS - JOE, HUNTER, JAMES, FRANK) corruption, followed closely behind by similar abuses of power and office by the Warren (GAMER LAWYER) and Sanders families, as Peter Schweizer described in his recent book “Profiles in Corruption.” These names just scratch the surface of government corruption (ADD GAMER LAWYER KAMALA HARRIS AND HER LAWYER HUSBAND AND THE BANKSTERS’ RENT BOY, LAWYER CHUCK SCHUMER AND GEORGE SOROS’ RENT BOY GAMER LAWER TONY BLINKEN AS WELL AS CON MAN ADAM SHIFF).    BRIAN C JOONDEPH

Who else is on board with the Big Guy?

It occurred to me again today that there are many degrees of tolerance among the congressional leadership, especially in the Senate, for Joe Biden.  Lindsey Graham trumpeted how great Joe is, at first — the let's-all-give-him-a-chance thing (yes, let's, that would be a change from Trump's treatment on the Hill).  Lindsey loudly chirped that at the cameras even before the Big Guy's swearing in.

More pertinently, Mitt Romney oozed muchly over Joe for a good year but seems to have quieted down some recently (while he resumes his timely maneuvers against Trump).  Then there's McConnell, a virtual respected supporter and co-equal to the Big Guy, who was, after all, in the Senate Club, too.  In and from the House, the most obvious Biden sycophant is Nancy Pelosi.

Now, I'm just saying: why this stubborn bipartisan loyalty that flies in the face of, really, the off-the-wall geopolitical and domestic disaster that Joe Biden has wrought upon us all?

Light bulb: Maybe ole Joe's not the only one "invested" in Ukraine, and China, and other ports of call.  Let's remember that representatives of both Romney's and Pelosi's children were out and about on business in Ukraine during one period in the Biden record.  Let's not forget that Mitch has made a packet off his wife's family Chinese business.  Poor Lindsey may be roped in somewhere, too.  There are the John McCain issues still buzzing around in his background.

I know this is all just me, but is it?  Why, please God, are all these people, notably the leftist Obama, astride his pile of hypocrisy and smiling all the way to the bank, so filthy rich?  I don't think speaking tours and books pay all that well.  Let's just use a little logic (the "if this, then that" variety): maybe bribery, extortion, treason, such inconveniences of political corruption, are actually and literally what is keeping Joe out of jail, or even on the way to jail.

When we think swamp, are we just thinking of civil servants?  If so, why?  Why not senior fellows in the Academy of Congress?  Loyalty among thieves is legendary.  Old thieves are not exempted.

Tory McConnell is a pen name.

This is because despite all its declarations, the Democratic Party is not a party of workers. It, as Biden’s transition team attests, is a party of Wall Street, big banks, Amazon, and the military-industrial complex.

A Government at War with Its People

Warfare requires deception.  The federal government habitually lies to the American people.  Consider that an admission that it sees itself at war with those it claims to serve.

You might have noticed that the word "propaganda" has been somewhat retired from polite conversation.  Occasionally, some State-allied news corporation will apply the term to a public statement coming from inside Russia, but otherwise, the idea that governments promote falsehoods cloaked as official truths has quietly disappeared.

Instead, ordinary information enjoyed and shared among regular people is now targeted for classification.  An alliance of national governments, international institutions, and propaganda engines disguised as disinterested nonprofits has sprung up to toss "unacceptable" thoughts into garbage piles for "mis-," "mal-," and "dis-" information trash bins.  As with everything else in modern society, the cult of expertise has even given us "disinformation experts" to decide what knowledge belongs where.

The small coterie of "disinformation experts" recognized and promoted by governments then monitor what the common people are saying among themselves, cast their nets around anything "unacceptable," and stigmatize those words and thoughts as deserving of censorship.  Perhaps one day soon there will be academic degrees in "disinformation" or special licenses distinguishing State-approved professionals as qualified to tell the rest of us what is real.  As a rule of thumb, if you want to know what kinds of knowledge governments fear their citizens possessing, look to the subjects that require numerous layers of authority validation before access is granted or titles are conferred.  Now the knowledge that governments fear their citizens possessing is simply information outside their control.

In this way, officials have flipped the script on propaganda.  Rather than the people calling out governments for their lies, governments pre-emptively defame their citizens as liars.  How do governments know when their citizens are "lying"?  Easy.  They just isolate anybody who contradicts publicly announced official truths.  Like a puff of smoke vanishing in the wind, government propaganda disappears because anyone who recognizes it as such is guilty of spreading "mis-," "mal-," or "dis-" information.

To find out what is "true," good citizens are expected to respect the authority of government "disinformation specialists" who target what the people say but never what the government promotes.  Accordingly, government propaganda flows forcefully yet invisibly because nobody is allowed to call it what it is.  The liars have constructed a system in which only they may identify lies.

The question is how long Americans will silently consent to any government dedicated to public deception.

The longer I have been around to witness how small lies can cause tremendous damage, the more convinced I have become that there is no more precious calling than to seek, protect, and spread truth.  Finding truth is often (if not always) difficult.  Sometimes what we think is true turns out to be false, and we are forced to adjust our understanding of the world accordingly.  Even when gold-tinted "truths" prove pyritic, the search for truth remains priceless.

One of the most effective ways of measuring a man's (or government's) character is not to decide whether he is right or wrong about some matter, but rather to determine whether he is committed to pursuing truth or eager to sacrifice it.  A virtuous man will adjust his worldview when confronted with conflicting yet convincing evidence; an unethical man will push falsehoods, no matter how irrational or unreasonable.

The truth-seeker understands that the process of pursuing truth is valuable, even when it provides an incomplete understanding of the world.  In contrast, those who push falsehoods embrace a lie that incomplete knowledge eliminates the possibility for truth.  Honest people see the pursuit of truth as its own reward; dishonest people see its manipulation as a means for scamming honest people.  When the government empowers itself to decide what is true and uses that authority to tell flagrant lies, it wages an information war against its citizens.

This war directed against Americans' minds has been raging for quite some time.  What is different today is its pace and brazenness.  Lies about Russia collusion, COVID, vaccine effectiveness, climate change, Biden family corruption, impartial justice, biological sex, American history, border security, debt sustainability, crime rates, gun safety, banking solvency, military engagements, racial disparities, religious doctrine, Western civilization, childhood development, healthy obesity, government surveillance, hydrocarbon energy, human slavery, acclaimed literature, anthropology — no topic is off limits for those who manipulate the public for a living.

Increasingly, the question is not whether the government is lying, but rather how malicious its intentions are.  Did bureaucrats mandate mRNA injections that were neither safe nor effective because they are bad at science?  Because they needed an alarming reason to rig the 2020 election with mail-in ballots?  As a means of rewarding pharmaceutical companies and the politicians they own with windfall profits?  As an opportunity to accelerate the World Economic Forum's "Great Reset"?  As a way to condition people to think of property, free speech, and personal liberty as "selfish" and instead submit to the national security surveillance State?

Are the climate change cultists committed to taking over farms and ending hydrocarbon fuels because they are too dumb to understand weather patterns, solar and geothermal energies, and chemistry?  Because they are committed communists who believe in global government and command-and-control economies?  Because they wish to induce instability and famine that will depopulate the planet?

Do extraterrestrial UFO stories confirm that the government has long covered up an important truth, or are they hoaxes meant to distract the public from something else?

Only the "disinformation experts" know.

Government monopolies over "truth" are evil.  They elevate "narratives" over news.  They protect the politician's spin over facts.  They champion the bureaucracy's needs over the public's.  They preserve the State's power at the expense of the people's.  Whenever governing authorities articulate "official truths," it means the actual truth is being smothered.  Whenever governments claim the need to control information, it means that they are losing control over their citizenry.  Propaganda and censorship are tools of the weak.  They are the last resort of political systems no longer capable of successfully competing in the marketplace for ideas.

There is no kind of government immune from corruption.  All eventually tilt toward tyranny.  The best we may do to protect ourselves is to construct safeguards against this inevitability.  Separation of powers, limited federal authority, diffuse state and local jurisdiction, expansive personal liberties, and effective self-defense all serve to thwart government-sanctioned injustice.  Perhaps no more important safeguard exists than a strong cultural commitment to freedom of speech — long a centerpiece of American civic virtue precisely because it serves as an inherent check against State-imposed religion, ideology, and propaganda.

Every one of these counterweights to government corruption recognizes that public officials cannot be trusted.  The U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights are predicated on a pessimistic reality that government power attracts cutthroats and liars who must be kept under constant scrutiny, lest their deviant natures be let loose.  No matter how principled a nation's founders, criminals will eventually run the government.  Written constitutions restraining those criminals' worst impulses represent humanity's best efforts at minimizing the damage.

Government apparatchiks are therefore the absolute last group of people in any society who should be trusted with deciding what is true.  Their vested interest in maintaining power distorts their reasoning and their fiendish natures preclude honest observation.  In a just society, at least half would be serving time in prison for insider trading, criminal negligence, misappropriation of funds, or dereliction of duty.  Instead, we let them print money, sell votes, play with nukes, and lock up their political enemies.

No government at war with its people can long endure.  Make no mistake, any government that embraces lies and deploys public deceptions is most definitely at war.

EXPOSING THE DEMOCRAT PARTY RULING CRIME FAMILIES AND THEIR ASSAUILT ON DEMOCRACY

Biden, Trump, and the emerging Democrat MAGA movement

President Biden and his political team, aided and abetted by MSM hacks, are trying to drive a wedge between Republican voters.

President Biden laid out the terms of his upcoming reelection campaign — claiming “MAGA Republicans” are the “real problem” America is facing today.

Their not-so-hidden agenda is to attempt to peel off a sufficient number of non-MAGA Republicans from voting for Donald Trump in 2024. However, looking at Trump's polling numbers going up, there are storm-force warning signs of a historical tactical and strategic political blunder unfolding, in unleashing a politicized DOJ/FBI attack on Biden's potential rival.  In fact, the great comedian Chris Rock nailed it perfectly

Chris Rock says arresting Donald Trump is like arresting Tupac Shakur: 'He's just going to sell more records. Are you stupid?'

As a point of fact, Tupac, before his tragic early death, sold 75 million records.

Thus, President Biden and his Democrat cronies better rethink trying to fracture Republican unity. It is now a failing strategy because what they did is so egregiously over the line and out of harmony with Americans' sense of fair play and equal justice.

So far, many of my R friends who were not Trump supporters, have embraced the symbolic combat rule that an attack of this magnitude on one is an attack on all.

However, dynamic turnabout is also fair play.

Since true believers in the progressive hard left take no prisoners and are, in practice, very, very, nasty, vindictive, and unyielding humorless individuals, in adherence to their secular dogma, they may drive out sane members of that party who are very pro-America and believe in our core values that America is truly a great country.

Sadly center-left voters often keep quiet.

After all, calling oneself a MAGA Democrat would prove to be a horrific public mistake and make the old Monty Python skit that “no one expects the Spanish Inquisition” turn into a very real public inquisition and not a punch line.

It is so evident that writers, reporters, and talking heads who are not 1000% in harmony with progressive party line narrative news doctrine are often viciously attacked.

However, the underlying unspoken and, so far, hidden truth is that many of the once-solid center-left Democrat party voters may have had enough.

Enter Robert Kennedy, Jr., and his words sound like the famous battle cry of John Paul Jones: “I have not yet begun to fight.”

“This is what happens when you censor somebody for 18 years,” Mr. Kennedy said, a reference to his complaint that social media platforms and the mainstream media have not given him a fair hearing. “I got a lot to talk about. They shouldn’t have shut me up for that long because now I’m really going to let loose on them for the next 18 months. They’re going to hear a lot from me.”

Going into political battle, Robert Kennedy could not have a better, more courageous, seasoned veteran on his side than former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard:

Former presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard who says she is leaving the Democratic Party

"I can no longer remain in today's Democratic party," she said on an episode of her podcast. "It's now under the complete control of an elitist cabal of warmongers, driven by cowardly wokeness..."

Gabbard additionally accused the party of "stoking anti-white racism," being contemptuous toward religion and police and driving the country closer to nuclear war.

Having had the totally immoral and corrupt Hillary Clinton challenge her patriotism, Tulsi has become a formidable former combat veteran warrior sounding with pitch-perfect truth a warning to Robert Kennedy, Jr. about what is yet to come when the D slime machine operators crank up to attack him.

"If that doesn't work, they go to step number three, which is pull out all the stops and destroy. And for me, this is when Hillary Clinton went out and started saying that I was a traitor, a Russian asset going against the country that I love," she continued.

I suspect and sincerely hope that, in this election cycle, instead of the Republican party being fractured, the progressive, and take no prisoners woke wing of the heretofore Democrat party will create enough quiet unspoken “MAGA Democrats” in the coming election to sweep President Biden and his corrupt family into the metaphorical dust bin of history as horrific violators of the rule of law, among their other money grubbing high crimes.

Marco Rubio: U.S. Immigration Policy Is Driven by Wall Street

The federal government’s migration policy is driven by business and economics, not by claims about “citizens of the world,” says Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL).

“This country has prioritized the importation of cheap labor,” including legal cheap labor, he said in his book, titled, “Decades of Decadence: How Our Spoiled Elites Blew America’s Inheritance of Liberty, Security, and Prosperity.”

Rubio continued:

Across this country today, the immigration system has been corrupted and exploited. And it began, as many of America’s problems do, with the fundamental shift toward a globalized economy.

But not every business could be exported, which meant Wall Street simply figured out how to import cheap labor, much of it [clarification, not all] coming from illegal immigrants. This was a slower, more subtle process. Sure, some politicians made a big deal about “jobs Americans wouldn’t do,” but otherwise the only outcry came from workers who found their wages stalled, benefits cut, and hours slashed until they could be replaced by someone willing to work more hours for less.

More often than not, it is about jobs Wall Street doesn’t want Americans to do because hiring Americans would require higher wages and better working conditions. To them, it is better to import cheap labor and buy off Americans with cash welfare programs provided by the government.

Rubio’s book reflects his long experience in immigration policies — especially in 2013 and 2014 when he withdrew from the so-called “Gang of Eight” amnesty amid loud demands from many donors for more immigrant consumers, workers, and renters.

Rubio’s clear-eyed criticism of legal and illegal migration comes as many Americans recognize immigration’s metastasizing damage to Americans’ pocketbooks, children, housing, health, innovation, society, and confidence.

In Rubio’s Florida, for example, Gov. Ron DeSantis declared May 10:

Nobody has a right to immigrate to this country. We determine as Americans what type of immigration system benefits our country, but when you’re doing immigration, it’s not for their benefit as foreigners, it’s for your benefit as Americans.

So if there’s legal immigration that’s harming Americans, we shouldn’t do that either. For example, some of these H-1B visas, they would fire American tech workers and hire foreigners at lower wages. I don’t agree with that. I think that’s wrong.

Even the elitist Atlantic magazine posted a June 2 article spotlighting the link between investors and migration:

[Federal policymakers say] labor is just another commodity, like wood or oil, and Americans are best off when it is plentiful and cheap … American public policy has largely managed to keep things that way. Over the past 50 years, as both parties supported the entry of millions of unskilled immigrants and the offshoring of entire industries, America’s per capita gross domestic product more than doubled after adjusting for inflation. Productivity of labor rose by a similar amount, and corporate profits per capita nearly tripled. Yet over the same time period, the average inflation-adjusted hourly earnings of the typical worker rose by less than 1 percent.

This growing public skepticism is shredding the establishment’s 1950s “Nation of Immigrants” narrative.

For example, a June 3-6 YouGov poll of 1,500 citizens asked, “In general, do you think immigration makes the U.S. better off or worse off?” A 36 percent plurality of all respondents said immigration — legal and illegal — makes the country “worse off,” while just 31 percent said immigration makes the nation “better off.” Registered voters split 37 percent worse off, and 35 percent better off.

This sea-change in public opinion is colliding with the accelerated migration being pushed by President Joe Biden’s administration’s deputies, including his pro-migration border chief, Alejandro Mayorkas.

On December 13, for example, Mayorkas told ElPasoMatters.org:

Our immigration system as a whole is broken. It hasn’t been updated or reformed in more than 40 years. We look to our partner to the north that has a much more nimble immigration system that can be retooled to the needs at the moment. For example, Canada is in need of 1 million workers and they have agreed that in 2023, they will admit 1.4 million … immigrants to fill that labor need that Canadians themselves cannot. We are stuck in antiquated laws that do not meet our current needs. And they haven’t been working for many, many years.

The establishment’s pro-migration policies are worsening the lengthening list of Americans’ problems — homelessness, low wages, a shrinking middle class, slowing innovation, declining blue-collar life expectancy, spreading poverty, the rising death toll from drugs, and the spreading alienation among young people.

Worse, the inflow of migrants extracted from poor countries reduces the incentive and ability of U.S. politicians, government officials, and business leaders to overcome their expanding political differences in ways that could help reduce Americans’ problems.

Biden and his deputies “are just giving up on Americans, and figuring the immigrants will replace them because they’re somehow better,” Mark Krikorian, the director of the Center for Immigration Studies, recently told Breitbart News. “It’s appalling and immoral.”

Four More Startling and Uncomfortable Ways Today’s Leftists Emulate the Nazis

There is something very troubling going on. First, we noted Eight Startling and Uncomfortable Ways the Democrat Party Emulates the Nazi Party. Then, we added 8 more for a total of 16 disturbing similarities between the two parties. But there are a lot more, with new examples springing up every day and they go beyond just the party to encompass the American left.

We’re doing a shorter list today to properly detail each one of these commonalities.

It’s almost a relief to be able to dismiss some actions by the fascist far left that don’t fit the criteria for the discussion, since there are so many others piling up. Unfortunately, it’s also very distressing that much of what they are doing is in commonality with their ideological comrades of the National Socialist Workers' (Nazi) Party.

This list also shows how one of the main pillars of the left’s big lie falls apart under logical analysis.

1. Big corporations collaborated with the Nazis and now with big business collaborates with the Democrats.

Far-left concerns such as Ben & Jerry’s, Starbucks, NikeFord, Kohl’s, PfizerGillette, PayPal and most prominently Target are pushing leftist dogma.  They are collaborating with the Democrat party just as many corporations - Volkswagen, Hugo Boss, and IBM (That’s a story all by itself) collaborated with the National Socialist Workers' (Nazi) Party.

The egregious actions of far-left corporations like Target and many others absolutely destroy one of the authoritarians’ big lies about the pro-freedom right.  People imbued with the precepts of individual liberty and limited government supposedly are somehow connected to totalitarian collectivist groups displaying the exact opposite of those values.  Since the pro-freedom right favors economic liberty and free enterprise, we’re closely tied to business. The vague leftist ‘logic’ is that this means that a government set with public/private partnerships is somehow ‘right wing’. So, keep this in mind whenever leftists bring up this ever-vague assertion that flies in the face of facts. But then again, the fascist far left has never let logic and common sense get in the way of a good lie.

2. Democrats and Nazis have a very disturbing affinity for guillotines.

This is one of those strange and very disturbing commonalities between the Democrat and Nazi parties. Guillotines are ‘featured’ in many an image and references from the fascist far left, “Homophobe Headrest.” On jewelry and T-shirts that were sold at Target.

via Twitter

The lefties also enjoy setting up ‘faux’ versions of them as threats at protests. This follows in line with the fact that the Nazis slaughtered 16,000 people by guillotine. Including 21-year-old Sophie Scholl of the White Rose in resistance to Hitler, and an American resistance leader executed on Hitler’s Orders.

Leftists love to hurl the ‘noose’ hate crime accusation just about any time someone ties a knot in a piece of rope. Parenthetically speaking, we noticed a loop in an overhead door pull the other day at a commercial garage, there isn’t much to them and they are everywhere.  Compare to the extensive material and construction requirements to even build a fake Guillotine; there are many pieces and parts that have to be cut to size, pre-assembled for fit, and then disassembled, transported, and reassembled on site to threaten its intended victims.

And yet, all we hear about are ‘hate crimes’ involving cordage allegedly tied in certain ways, but never about the extensive effort to set up a faux Guillotine. Why isn’t that a ‘Hate crime’?

3. Democrats and Nazis also follow the far-left’s fascination with skulls.

Following along the fascist far-left fascination with guillotines and satanism in Target merchandise, they also seem to have a strange affinity for skulls. Granted, this is seen in other areas, but for the far left, as with their affinity for guillotines, there is an implicit threat attached to these images.

We see this in the items that were sold at Target and in the ‘Death’s head’ decoration of the Schutzstaffel (SS) that ran the concentration camps. At least it made for a great way of mocking them in a very amusing Mitchell and Webb comedy sketch entitled:  Are we the baddies?  Something leftists should always be asking themselves.

4. Demonic or Democratic? The fascist far left and the occult

Let’s start with the satanic items that were sold by Target and that people can arbitrarily determine their sex or gender by acting as their own Deity. Even though some sources of the nation’s socialist media tried to play a little shell game in ‘debunking’ one story to discredit any others on the subject. The fact-checkers to the stars themselves had to sadly admit, it was all true:

Snopes: Did Target Partner with Designer Whose Work Includes Satanic Imagery?  Of course, they give up the game with the sub-headline quotation:

"For me," the designer wrote on Instagram, "Satan is hope, compassion, equality, and love."

Further on in the ‘fact-check’:

It is true that Target had partnered with, and briefly sold, three items designed by Abprallen. The designer announced the partnership on Instagram on May 9, 2023. "I can now proudly announce that you can buy Abprallen in US Targets!" the designer posted. "Part one of the range includes a messenger bag, a tote, and a sweatshirt!"

The site had the integrity to rate the claim as True.

Another story entitled: Target falsely claimed to sell Satan-themed items referred to the same items and posted an image of them with a red ‘X’ drawn through it to make sure you get the wrong idea. Later on, we got the full story:

The retail giant pulled the merchandise as social media users described Abprallen as "Satanic," referencing his posts and designs that feature occult or devil-like imagery.

So, they sold the stuff at one time, but now that they don’t, the story is somehow ‘false.’  Don’t you love how leftists play with the language to say whatever they want?

We referred to some of the other items on guillotines and skulls, but there are more in the archives because the internet is forever.

Then there is this little footnote to a story on a Seattle Far-Left Reverend Training Tennessee Students to Protest Gun Control

Reverend Osagyefo Sekou is an avowed Antifa supporter who making up his own Bible verses:

“I head a voice from Heaven sayeth #DefundThePolice so they shalt be abolished from the Earth.” – 1 Minneapolis 1:1 (New Standard #Antifa Version),”

Now, some may quibble on the direct parallels between demonic Democratics and National Socialist Workers' (Nazi) Party, but does the form matter when you’re talking about evil?

This doesn’t even start on many of the other commonalities that are currently cropping up, but we’ll try to document those as well so maybe at some point the fascist far left’s biggest lie will finally be exposed to everyone.

The Atlantic Magazine: The Feds Use Migration to Cut Wages

The federal government uses immigration to suppress Americans’ salaries and wages, according to an article in the Atlantic, which is a very pro-migration and establishment magazine.

The federal policymakers believe that “labor is just another commodity, like wood or oil, and Americans are best off when it is plentiful and cheap,” the June 2 article says.

Author Oren Cass, the founder of the mainstream American Compass think-tank, wrote:

American public policy has largely managed to keep things that way.

The massive distortion is revealed by the declining share of new wealth that goes to employees since about 1970.

Amid migration, technological centralization, and outsourcing to China, U.S. employees’ share of new wealth dropped 10 points from 1970 to 2014 — from 51.6 percent to 41.9 percent — according to the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis.

Employees’ share jumped 1 point up under President Donald Trump’s lower-migration policy. But their share seems to be declining again under President Joe Biden’s easy migration rules.

A May 4 report from Cass’ American Compass showed how migration allows investors to minimize pay to workers:

From 1972 to 2022, real corporate profits per capita rose 185%. GDP per capita rose 141%. Productivity rose 135%. The average hourly wage for production and nonsupervisory workers rose 1%. How is that even possible?

It is possible because employers will tend to raise wages under one, and only one, condition: when they cannot hire the workers they need at the existing wage. All of labor economics turns on that simple fact.

This post-1970 economic shift has moved many trillions of dollars from wage earners to investors from 1970 to 2023, thrilling investors and their allies.

The establishment’s cheap-labor bubble burst in 2020 when the coronavirus crash blocked the supply of new migrant workers. The resulting shortfall allowed many Americans to change jobs in search of higher wages.

Cass wrote:

In the coronavirus pandemic’s aftermath, for the first time in a long time, many employers are discovering that they can’t fill jobs at the low wages they’re accustomed to offering. “We hear from businesses every day that the worker shortage is their top challenge,” Neil Bradley, chief policy officer at U.S. Chamber of Commerce, said last May. This is the precise circumstance under which wages might finally rise. Instead, the business community is looking to government to get them out of a jam, and leaders on both sides of the aisle seem only too eager to help.

The article carried an online headline, “A Labor Shortage is a Great Problem to Have.”

But now President Joe Biden and his deputies are dramatically opening the inflow of foreign workers via legal, quasi-legal, and illegal migration routes.

“Immigration is a [policy] lever,” Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo told Axios.com in December 2022.  “We’re down a million immigrants a year — that’s a workforce that we need.”

“There are businesses around this country that are desperate for workers [and] there are … desperate workers in foreign countries that are looking for jobs in the United States, ” Biden’s border chief, Alejandro Mayorkas, said on May 11.

“We’re working with the State Department on and DHS [Department of Homeland Security] … to make it easier for [college-graduate migrants] that have these skill sets that we think can really contribute to implementing these new policies, that we can bring them in faster,” White House official Katie Tobin said on May 15.

Cass continued:

This is a grave mistake—politically, economically, and morally. If employers are struggling to find workers, they should offer better pay and conditions. If that comes at the expense of some profits, or requires some prices to rise, well, that’s how markets are supposed to work. In most other contexts, capitalism’s proponents celebrate how the market creates incentives for businesses to solve problems. In that respect, a labor shortage is a great problem to have. Only by challenging employers to improve job quality and boost productivity will we find out what the market’s awesome power can achieve for American workers and their families.

Cass, however, did not offer a term to describe the federal government’s policy of lowering wages via migration.

Extraction Migration

The federal government has long operated an unpopular economic policy of Extraction Migration. This colonialism-like policy extracts vast amounts of human resources from needy countries, reduces beneficial trade, and uses the imported workers, renters, and consumers to grow Wall Street and the economy.

The migrant inflow has successfully forced down Americans’ wages and also boosted rents and housing prices. The inflow has also pushed many native-born Americans out of careers in a wide variety of business sectors and contributed to the rising death rate of poor Americans.

The lethal policy also sucks jobs and wealth from heartland states by subsidizing coastal investors with a flood of low-wage workers, high-occupancy renters, and government-aided consumers.

The population inflow also reduces the political clout of native-born Americans, because the population replacement allows elites to divorce themselves from the needs and interests of ordinary Americans.

Migration — and especially, labor migration — is unpopular among swing voters. A 54 percent majority of Americans say Biden is allowing a southern border invasion, according to an August 2022 poll commissioned by the left-of-center National Public Radio (NPR). The 54 percent “Invasion” majority included 76 percent of Republicans, 46 percent of independents, and even 40 percent of Democrats.

Companies in the United States have announced, so far this year, more than 400,000 layoffs — more than the layoffs announced in all of last year. The job cuts come as Democrats, on behalf of business special interests, demand more foreign competition in the labor market for employers to hire.

The employment data, collected by Challenger, Gray & Christmas Inc. and published in Bloomberg, shows that roughly 417,500 layoffs have been announced from January through May by U.S. companies across sectors such as technology, banking, retail, and media, among others.

Compare those announced layoffs in just the first five months of this year to the 364,000 total layoffs announced in all of 2022. In tech, there have been almost 140,000 layoffs announced this year so far. This is only slightly fewer than the 169,000 layoffs in tech in 2001.

“Companies cited economic conditions and cost-cutting for more than half of the layoffs announced this year,” Bloomberg noted.

At the same time, Democrats across the U.S. have suggested that business special interests complain about so-called labor shortages and thus the tens of thousands of border crossers and illegal aliens that President Joe Biden’s administration is admitting into the nation every month ought to be given immediate work permits.e email you provide. “We have one message, let them work,” New York City Mayor Eric Adams (D) told the Biden administration last month of the thousands of migrants who have arrived in the city since last year. “That is our clear message that we are sending. We must expedite work authorization for asylum seekers, not in the future, but now.”

Migrants who have been staying at the Watson Hotel since arriving to NYC were evicted over the weekend to be relocated to the recently opened up migrant relief center for single adult men at the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal. The ones who refused have been camping out in front of the hotel since eviction. Several migrants who agreed to the relocation returned, complaining of lack of heat and bathroom space. New York Gov. Kathy Hochul has issued similar sentiments.

“… at the same time, we have this historic labor shortage, we also have this unprecedented influx of individuals arriving in New York — all of them legally seeking asylum,” Hochul said. “They’re eager to work, they want to work, they came here in search of work.”

In Washington, DC, Democrats recently repeated many of the same talking points from the Business Roundtable and U.S. Chamber of Commerce used to demand an endless flow of foreign workers whom jobless Americans would be forced to compete against.

“We’re ignoring the Business Roundtables of America who are crying out for employees to work alongside Americans,” Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX) said during a committee hearing last month. “Let me be very clear, we have jobs for Americans, we have tech jobs for Americans, teaching jobs for Americans, law enforcement, firefighter jobs for Americans, but we’re a growing nation.”

As Breitbart News has chronicled, Biden has grown the U.S. payrolls by adding millions of foreign-born workers to the labor market while the share of native-born Americans in the labor market has continued to decline.

California State Senate Passes Bill to Give Illegal Migrants Unemployment Checks

California’s State Senate passed a bill last week to give unemployed illegal migrants $300 weekly unemployment checks for up to 20 weeks, despite the fact that the state faces a $32 billion budget deficit.

As Breitbart News reported last month:

California’s fiscus has fallen in the space of one year from a surplus of $100 billion, partly based on federal cash for coronavirus relief, to a staggering deficit of $32 billion.

In his revised budget, Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) cautioned legislators to maintain “prudence.” But under SB 227, “excluded” workers who are in the country illegally would be able to receive $300 per week in benefits.

California’s unemployment insurance program is already controversial, having lost $30 billion in fraudulent claims during the pandemic. The state recently defaulted on a federal loan to cover a shortfall in benefits.

Now, the Washington Free Beacon reports, the bill, SB 227, proposed by State Sen. María Elena Durazo (D-Agoura Hills), has passed the State Senate and moves to the Assembly, with heavy potential implications:

Under SB 227, unemployment fund officials would be barred from asking for claimants’ social security number eligibility or contacting past or present employers to verify their job status. Instead, applicants would self-attest that they meet the requirements for the weekly checks: having earned at least $1,300 or worked at least 93 hours over three months. Acceptable documentation would include tax returns, transaction logs on payment apps, and receipts that show a commuting pattern.

The State Senate passed the measure just months after Gov. Gavin Newsom (D.) said the undocumented migrant influx could “break” California.

The Golden State already offers free health coverage and driver’s licenses to illegal immigrants. More than two million illegal immigrants live in California.

The corporate media has railed against the elderly, endorsing dying early. This was visible in the campaign for the pro-corporate health plan Obamacare (the Affordable Care Act) in which the New York Times spearheaded this narrative. The result of Obamacare was to contribute to a decrease in life expectancy. One of the chief architects of Obamacare, Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, openly advocated for a reduction in life expectancy.

“The watchdogs at Judicial Watch discovered documents that reveal how the Obama administration's close coordination with the Mexican government entices Mexicans to hop over the fence and on to the American dole.”  Washington Times
