WHAT ABOUT JOE BIDEN AND MAYORKAS' NARCOMEX? - DeSantis: In My Administration Drug Dealers at Border Will End Up ‘Stone Cold Dead’

Alejandro Mayorkas, the Secretary of Homeland Security who keeps insisting the southern border is secure, intervened to help obtain a sentence commutation for the son of a major Democrat Party donor.  The son was a convicted drug dealer.

Then U.S. attorney Mayorkas approached the White House in 2000 on behalf of Carlos Vignali, a convicted drug trafficker whom prosecutors said was a leading figure in a drug ring with nearly three dozen members that stretched from California to Minnesota.

Vignali's father was a wealthy real-estate developer and a substantial donor to California Democrats.  He persuaded more than nine important Democrat politicians to approach Bill Clinton on his son's behalf.  He increased his political donations as his son's trial began, then donated ever-increasing amounts to the Democratic National Committee during their convention in Los Angeles.  The Vignali family also contributed to Xavier Becerra's political campaigns prior to his advocacy for Carlos.  Becerra is currently the secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services.

DeSantis: In My Administration Drug Dealers at Border Will End Up ‘Stone Cold Dead’

Republican Presidential hopeful Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) said Wednesday on Fox News Channel’s “The Story” that his administration would use deadly force on drug dealers at the U.S. border.

DeSantis said, “People are dying by the tens of thousands because of the fentanyl that’s trafficked in.”

He continued, “We’re going to obviously build the wall and do that. But what I’ve seen in my trips down there and I’ve taken a number of them, the cartels will actually cut through the good part of the border wall like a blow torch or a saw. They have backpacks on and they run though the drugs. My view as commander in chief would be is we have to have appropriate rules of engagement to say, ‘if you’re cutting through a border wall on sovereign U.S. territory and you’re trying to poison Americans, you’re going to end up stone cold dead.’ We are not going to put up with this right now. The drug cartels control our border. It’s open season.”

DeSantis added, “And it is not just at the border in the cartels are crossing. We’ll have maritime operations because what you have is these precursor chemicals are being shipped in to Mexico. The cartels then take the chemicals, they create the fentanyl product and move it in to the United States and kills people and every community across this country. We’re going to do full spectrum to finally put this issue to rest.”

Illegal immigration imposes an enormous burden on American taxpayers.

Annually, the 11 to 22 million illegal aliens living in the U.S. costs taxpayers more than $143 billion. That amount, though, does not include any of the social and economic costs — such as higher housing prices, depleted wages, lost jobs, increased crime, and strained public resources at hospitals and schools — associated with illegal immigration.

DeSantis Unveils Hardline Plan To

Secure Border

Getty Images
June 26, 2023

Florida governor Ron DeSantis on Monday provided his most detailed plan yet for securing the U.S. southern border with Mexico as he tries to make up ground against Donald Trump in the race for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination.

At an event in Eagle Pass, Texas, on the Rio Grande river border with Mexico, DeSantis took a swipe at Trump, lumping him with other presidents he said had failed to take action to stem the flow of migrants at the border.

"No excuses on this," DeSantis said. "Get the job done."

DeSantis, who announced his presidential bid last month, has struggled to gain momentum against Trump, the ex-president who is seeking another term in the White House. National opinion polls show DeSantis trailing Trump by more than 20 percentage points.

DeSantis’s border-security plan marked his latest effort to appeal to the party’s hardcore conservative voters in the hope of peeling some away from Trump, who has made illegal immigration a core issue of his presidential bids.

After touting his record as Florida governor for weeks on the campaign trail, DeSantis is slowly rolling out national policy programs. Energy and tax plans are in the offing, he said.

As part of his border plan, DeSantis would end so-called catch and release and would detain migrants crossing the border until their hearing dates; deny entry to any migrant at the border claiming political asylum; and tax remittances from migrants living in the country illegally to pay for the construction of a border wall.

DeSantis also would move to end so-called birthright citizenship, which allows children of migrants born in this country to become U.S. citizens, and allow state and local officials to enforce federal immigration laws.

He vowed as president to employ U.S. law

enforcement assets across the border if

necessary to stop the flow of fentanyl and

other drugs into the United States.

He said he would do as much as possible through unilateral executive action without waiting for Congress to act.

Trump has also pledged to end birthright citizenship and to continue the hardline immigration policies he instituted as president. His campaign on Monday accused DeSantis of "copying and pasting" Trump's policy agenda.

While president in 2018, Trump said he planned to issue an executive order to limit birthright citizenship, but never followed through. Many legal scholars at the time were skeptical that Trump could use executive authority to roll back the right.

At the Texas event, DeSantis contended that the border has become a portal through which migrants from around the world enter and said the influx was straining the budgets of local communities.

"There are people from halfway around the world coming through on this southern border because they know all you got to do is show up in the border and you’re going to get a ticket to come into the interior of the United States," he said.

Ammar Moussa, spokesman for the Democratic National Committee, criticized DeSantis's plan, saying it consists of "political gimmicks that are merely an echo of the same cruel and callous policies of the Trump administration that broke our immigration system."

President Joe Biden's administration last week secured a victory before the U.S. Supreme Court when it held that border states could not challenge federal priorities on enforcement of immigration policy.

Speaking with reporters after the event on Monday, DeSantis again defended his use of private planes to relocate migrants from Texas to Democratic-run states such as California and Massachusetts.

"It's been very effective," he said, adding that it "will continue to be used."

Joe Biden: ‘Absolutely Bizarre’ to Suggest Limit on U.S. Capacity to Absorb Immigrants

JOEL B. POLLAK

LAS VEGAS, Nevada — Former Vice President Joe Biden campaigned inside a Chinese restaurant on Tuesday evening, telling supporters it was “bizarre” to suggest a limit on immigration to the U.S.

... and still he and his lap bitch mayorkas, both lying gamer lawyers, kept lying!

Biden fails to fool the public about getting the border under control

For awhile there, Joe Biden's administration thought it sufficient to tell us he made the border "secure."

That didn't work.

So then he appointed Kamala Harris as his border czar -- and that really didn't work.

Next up, when the blue cities got a few thousand of the million-plus migrants rolling across the southern border, and cried 'uncle' to the White House, Biden claimed to have a plan in place for tough new measures to really really secure the border.

Border crossings were down 70 percent as a result, he claimed. The plan, he crowed, is “working as intended,” and he cited numbers showing fewer recorded encounters or arrests.

Guess what? The public isn't buying it.

According to The Federalist:

President Joe Biden, his administration, and the corporate media tried their best over the last two and a half years to downplay the record number of illegal border crossings, but a majority of Americans aren’t buying into the lie that the ongoing border crisis is improving.

A new poll from Pew Research found that 73 percent of Americans think the Biden administration is doing a bad job at handling the U.S.-Mexico border. For Republicans, the number rises to 87 percent. Even 62 percent of Democrats, whose party currently controls the White House and the Senate, say they disapprove of Biden’s border bungling.

The Federalist cited 204,561 illegal migrant arrests for May, as if that were a "success," which could only be called that in comparison to previous months, and which, in any case, didn't reflect how many migrants were getting over the border through quasi-legal means, such as the CBPOne asylum app, which is a joke, having approved as valid 99% of all asylum claims which means letting everyone in as a 'legal' immigrant. Biden also set up new 'asylum' processing centers in Central American countries to prevent migrants from massing at the border as a 'priority' for the administration, as it didn't want more Fox News cameras photographing them, and bused them on in as 'legal' immigrants from the Darien Gap under cover of darkness. In addition, he set up special "humanitarian parole" programs for Venezuelans, Haitians, Nicaraguans and Cubans who have relatives in the country to stay with for ... years in order to wait out their asylum claims in court. None of those crossings are counted as border encounters, or arrests.

But they sure do amount to the same phenomenon of undocumented migrants with no valid asylum claims to be able to get over the border and into the U.S. without going through normal immigration channels that legitimate immigrants use. Tens of thousands are doing it.

In any case, as The Federalist notes, they aren't even arresting migrants when they do cross over illegally:

Law enforcement agencies are under explicit instructions from the Biden White House to avoid arresting illegal border crossers. Even those who are caught by border patrol will, be released into the U.S. with zero accountability.

The migrants aren't being fooled by Joe Biden's claimed tough new stance about border crossings, that's for sure.

And neither is the public. Everyone knows what is going on.

Fact is, people on the ground can't be fooled about this dereliction of duty. They see the migrants coming in, clogging hospital rooms, spreading disease, such as a virulent new strain of tropical malaria, which has been discovered in the past few days here in the states. They're filling hotel rooms with "free" accommodation from the blue cities, filling public schools, filling welfare offices, and filling jails. Drunk driving, shoplifting, and other criminal behavior from these incoming migrants is up. Migrants are valuing their "right" to live in the states for about as much as they paid for it, which is nil.

But we're also seeing the breakdown of law and order in Mexico, with stunning examples of cartel power-grabs that have roiled Mexico's north. You can't go to huge swaths of Mexico safely these days. That's because the cartels have grown powerful -- based on their money stream from migrants.

And we're seeing the rise of child labor in the states, from incoming child migrants, released to their smuggling and exploiting sponsors to operate heavy factory equipment and industrial chemicals, even as officials warn of problems, as if to give competition to places like China.

People in the states can't be gaslighted into thinking these things aren't happening. What's more, the Biden has let the cat out of the bag many times about wanting to bring in all comers in order to usher in a new base of Democrat voters, many of whom will vote exactly the same way in the states as they voted in their home countries -- which was why those nations became socialist hellholes.

Without serious border enforcement, which involves walls, deportations, and a rigorous adherence to congressionally mandated quotas, the whole thing amounts to smoke and mirrors.

As President Lincoln famously said: "You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can not fool all of the people all of the time.”

Well, Joe Biden is about as far away from President Lincoln in terms of virtue and good governance as possible on the presidential scale of rankings, so of course he thinks he can -- and he isn't.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection Office of Field Operations officers in Nogales, Arizona, stopped two major drug shipments over the weekend. In two separate incidents, the officers seized more than 670,000 fentanyl pills and nearly 48 pounds of methamphetamine. These officers seized nearly two million fentanyl pills in less than two weeks.

CBP Nogales Port Director Michael Humphries tweeted photos of two drug shipments seized by OFO officers assigned to the Nogales Port of Entry on Friday and Saturday.

The officers seized approximately 475,000 fentanyl pills and 2.13 pounds of methamphetamine on Friday. Humphries said the drugs were hidden throughout a vehicle attempting to enter Arizona from Mexico.

The following day, officers found another 214,000 fentanyl pills and 45.5 pounds of methamphetamine hidden in a truck.

Officers in the Nogales area of operations have been highly successful this month in combatting the smuggling of potentially deadly fentanyl pills.

Nogales officers conducting roving K-9 operations on June 21 found 517,000 fentanyl pills and 64.6 grams of cocaine in the doors and tailgate of a pickup truck. Later that day, officers found another 10,900 fentanyl pills hidden in a gym bag, Humphries tweeted.

During a three-day period ending on June 19, Nogales officers seized another 784,000 fentanyl pills in six different smuggling incidents, the Nogales port director tweeted.

The officers also found nearly 170 pounds of methamphetamine, nearly 11 pounds of heroin, and 5.8 pounds of cocaine.

In less than ten days, the Nogales officers stopped smugglers from bringing nearly two million fentanyl pills into the United States.

Between October 1, 2022, and May 31, 2023, CBP officers assigned to the Tucson Field Office, which includes the Nogales Port of Entry, seized more than 9,300 pounds of the deadly fentanyl drug in its various forms.

81% of Mexico is a lot of territory

How much of Mexico is under the control of criminal elements?  I guess that it depends who is answering the question.  To my knowledge, President Andres Lopez-Obrador has not acknowledged that any part of Mexico is run by cartels.  He plays games with crime statistics and blames everyone but his administration for the breakdown in law and order.

So who is telling the truth?  Well, this is a report from Pulse News Mexico:

A study released this week by the political analysis firm AC Consultores showed that organized crime groups in Mexico are now exerting their influence over at least 1.59 million square kilometers of national territory, representing 81 percent of the country, leaving 108 million Mexicans at risk of violence.

The AC Consultores study was based on six months of meticulous review of official government data and documents hacked from Mexico’s Defense Secretariat by the Guacamaya group, which last September released a collection of over 4 million confidential government documents that were obtained by international hackers.

The criminal organizations with the greatest presence in Mexico are the Jalisco New Generation Cartel and the Sinaloa Cartel, the study said.

Mexican criminal groups, the study said, exert their influence and terrorize citizens through executions, massacres, drug banners, extortion, kidnappings, threatening videos and even the murders of police officers, politicians and officials.

Over the last four years, such events have been reported in 1,488 of Mexico’s 2,471 municipalities.

According to the study, the bloody Jalisco New Generation Cartel has the greatest presence in Mexico, operating across 28 out of the country’s 32 states. The Sinaloa Cartel comes in second place with operations in 24 states.

The presence of the Gulf Cartel has been detected in 10 states, the Northeast Cartel in eight states, the Familia Michoacana in seven and Los Zetas in six.

Additionally, the Templars have operation in five states and Los Chapitos in four.

Small criminal organizations such as the BeltrĂ¡n Leyva, the Caborca Cartel, Los Talibanes, Los Rojos, Los Salazar and Los Viagras each operate in three states.

How accurate is this report?  I think that it's pretty true as anyone paying attention can tell.  For example, I heard on the radio yesterday that auto thefts in Texas are up.  Why?  Apparently, cartel "representatives" come into Texas and look for cars, especially vans.  They love those.  It must be the air-conditioning unit.  They steal them and cross the border.

Then you have the violence in Mexico.  Lots of it!  Just ask anyone who lives down there.  I heard from a lady that travelling at night on Mexican roads is just an invitation to get your car stolen.  Another man told me a few years ago that he'll never take his truck to Mexico anymore.  Who are these people?  They are Mexicans living here who are afraid to visit their country by car.  They take the bus instead.

How much of Mexico is under criminal control?  No one knows for sure because these elements usually don't register their address with the local post office.

What can the U.S. government do?  A lot more than we are doing.  Also, I hope that some Mexican candidate for president in 2024 has the courage to point out that Mexican sovereignty is at risk if bad guys with high-powered weapons are running the highways.

Rival Cartels in Mexico Make Peace, Turn on Mutual Enemy near Texas Border

CBN
0 seconds of 2 minutes, 15 secondsVolume 90%

Two drug cartels with a long history of animosity appear to have set their differences aside in an attempt to gang up on a rival organization. The new alliance led to the continued fierce turf war over control of lucrative drug and human trafficking routes into Texas.

Last week, the Cartel Del Noreste faction of Los Zetas, which is based in Nuevo Laredo, announced they were looking into an alliance with the Escorpiones faction of the Gulf Cartel. The announcement came through a video where the two groups claimed to want to participate in an armistice that Mexico’s President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador discussed in one of his news conferences.

In the video, a group of gunmen in black uniforms with body armor and carrying various weapons stand behind a hooded spokesman who claims that they are in peace talks with the Matamoros faction of the Gulf Cartel and they are on the same page.

The message comes at a time when CDN-Los Zetas have been waging a fierce turf war with the Reynosa faction of the Gulf Cartel, also known as Metros. The CDN-Los Zetas have been pushing east and gaining territory for several months. Most recently, there have been several shootouts in and around Miguel Aleman, just south of Roma, Texas, where the Metros appear to be on the losing side. At the same time, the Metros have been fighting off numerous incursions on the eastern side of Reynosa as the Escorpiones faction has been pushing west from Rio Bravo.

The peace talks between Escorpiones and CDN-Los Zetas could make the turf war more difficult for Los Metros. However, Los Metros claims to have the support of Cartel Jalisco New Generation and another group called Old School Zetas.

In the video message, the CDN-Los Zetas spokesman claimed to be interested in a truce for peace that a group of activists had originally proposed. That group searches for mass graves to find missing loved ones. Delia Quiroa, the leader of the activists, had asked all of Mexico’s cartels to look into a truce of sorts to end forced disappearances and allow them to search for gravesites. Earlier this month, Lopez Obrador claimed that he favored finding new ways to bring peace.

Exclusive: Official Says Biden’s CBP One Program Benefits Drug Cartels

Frontline employees being pulled from normal inspection duties are reducing the number of labor hours dedicated to finding hidden narcotics, according to a source within Customs and Border Protection. Hundreds of hours daily are spent processing more than one thousand migrants using the CBP One application to schedule appointments to secure their release into the United States.

In May 2023, CBP announced the agency would increase the daily number of appointments for migrants wishing to claim asylum to 1,000 per day and that appointments would be prioritized through an algorithm for those who have the longest wait times using the application. In the announcement, the DHS officials said the latter change would “Cut out smugglers who are preying on noncitizens by prioritizing appointments for those who have been waiting the longest. A percentage of daily available appointments will be allocated to the earliest registered CBP One™ profiles, so noncitizens who have been trying to obtain appointments for the longest time will be prioritized.”

CBP Migrant App (U.S. Customs and Border Protection)

CBP Migrant App (U.S. Customs and Border Protection)

Despite the claims that the new “lawful pathway” program would cut out smuggling activities by the cartels, the source, who is not authorized to speak to the media, says the impacts are to the contrary. “Any way you look at it, the border is a dangerous place,” the source stated. “The cartels don’t just profit off of the migrants, they survive and thrive by smuggling narcotics.”

“One worry is by redirecting personnel from inspections to asylum processing we are missing the deadliest drug we have seen in modern times, fentanyl,” the source told Breitbart Texas.

After another increase in available appointments announced in May, some 1,250 migrants began to use the CBP One application daily to schedule appointments to have their asylum claims processed at several southwest border ports of entry. Those ports are located in California, Arizona, and Texas. Some of the designated ports of entry are the busiest in the nation. One is the busiest on a more global scale. At the San Ysidro border crossing near the heart of downtown San Diego, more than 70,000 vehicles enter the country each day. In addition, 20,000 pedestrians are inspected for admission each day at the busiest port of entry in the Western Hemisphere.

At the smaller ports of entry, fewer migrants are allowed appointments. However, due to reduced staffing, the effects on the inspection process just as significant. Several times per day, groups of migrants appear for processing in Eagle Pass, Texas, and are released into the United States. Less than one hundred are processed at this port of entry daily. That port of entry may be forced to receive additional migrants due to a recent cancellation of the program in Laredo, Texas. The pause in the processing of CBP One appointments in Laredo is due to reports of migrants being extorted by authorities in Mexico.

The source tells Breitbart, each day 1,250 migrants from a variety of countries, including Venezuela, Cuba, Russia, Mexico, and others across Central America require hours of administrative processing that is converting some frontline CBP Officers into asylum petition clerks.

The source says the officers tasked with processing the migrants are redirected from pedestrian screening and vehicle inspection stations. “The cartels use humans to serve as body carriers and have become quite creative when concealing narcotics in the thousands of vehicles that cross daily,” the source explained. “Finding the drugs is a time-consuming process that should not suffer as a result of the CBP One program.”

Recent fentanyl seizures made by authorities at the border crossing points and in communities farther away from the border highlight the volume of fentanyl that Mexican cartels move every day.

As the result of a recent two-month DHS coordinated surge of resources to combat the smuggling of fentanyl in California and Arizona — Operation Blue Lotus — authorities in San Diego County noted a 300 percent increase in fentanyl seizures versus the same period last year – from 732 pounds in 2022 to 2,931 pounds in 2023. The operation involved the augmentation of 35 Customs and Border Protection officers and 85 Homeland Security Investigations special agents along the southwest border from March 13 to May 10, 2023.

The two-month fentanyl-enforcement surge along the southwest border resulted in the seizure of about 4,721 pounds of fentanyl and 1,700 pounds of fentanyl precursors, according to the United States Attorney for the Southern District of California.

On May 30, one of the largest seizures of fentanyl by the Border Patrol was reported at a Yuma highway checkpoint. As reported by Breitbart Texas, Border Patrol agents seized more than 190 pounds of fentanyl discovered meticulously concealed in a passenger vehicle. That seizure, according to the Border Patrol, contained enough lethal doses of the drug to kill 40 million people and had a street value estimated at over $2 million.

This single seizure was more than the entire amount of fentanyl seized by the Border Patrol in the month of April according to CBP. In most cases involving intricate concealed compartment smuggling detected in Border Patrol cases, the narcotics are loaded in Mexico and driven through a port of entry according to the source.

The source worries that future increases in the number of migrants allowed to seek asylum appointments at ports of entry through the CBP One application will further detract from the agency’s ability to adequately inspect pedestrians and vehicles entering the United States.

Record-Shattering Migrant Surge Continues in One Northern Border Sector

U.S. Border Patrol/Swanton Sector

Swanton Sector Border Patrol agents continue to apprehend migrants crossing the border from Canada at a record-shattering rate. During the past week, agents arrested 141 migrants from 17 countries who illegally entered the U.S. from Canada.

Swanton Sector Border Patrol agents apprehended more migrants illegally crossing the border this year into northeastern New York, Vermont, and New Hampshire than in the previous five years combined, Breitbart Texas reported. The trend continued this week as Swanton Sector Chief Patrol Agent Robert Garcia reported the apprehension of 141 migrants from 17 nations during the past week.

In the photo above, agents apprehended a group of five migrants from Mexico who crossed from Canada into Vermont. The agents processed the migrants for expedited removal from the U.S.

One week earlier, Garcia reported his agents arrested 111 additional migrants from 15 nations during a 72-hour period.

According to an unofficial Border Patrol report reviewed by Breitbart Texas, Swanton Sector agents apprehended more than 450 migrants in May. This brings the total for FY23 apprehensions in this sector to more than 3,800 migrants. During just the past two months, agents apprehended more migrants than during the entire year in FY22.

In addition to the more than 3,800 migrants apprehended this year, more than 1,800 more migrants are classified as known got-aways, according to an unofficial Border Patrol report reviewed by Breitbart. This brings the number of known border crossers this year to more than 5,600 migrants.

More than half of the migrants apprehended by Swanton Sector agents this fiscal year are Mexican nationals, according to an official CBP Nationwide Encounters report for April (the latest official numbers available).

Chief Garcia credited more than 460 reports from concerned citizens for assisting in the apprehension of migrants illegally crossing the border from Canada.

US Arrests 4 Mexicans in Smuggling Incident That Killed 53 Migrants in Texas

Getty Images
June 27, 2023

U.S. officials in Texas have arrested four Mexicans who were indicted on suspicion of operating a human smuggling ring responsible for the deaths a year ago of 53 migrants packed into a truck during sweltering heat, the Justice Department said on Tuesday.

Dozens of migrants from Mexico, Guatemala and Honduras were found in a tractor-trailer with malfunctioning air conditioning that was abandoned on the outskirts of San Antonio on June 27, 2022, a day when temperatures soared as high as 103 Fahrenheit (39.4 Celsius).

U.S. officials allege the suspects operated a ring that smuggled adults and children from Guatemala, Honduras, and Mexico into the United States, overseeing the fateful journey with eight children and a pregnant woman aboard.

The suspects shared routes, guides, stash houses and vehicles, storing some of their tractors and trailers at a private parking lot in San Antonio, prosecutors said.

The indictment alleges some of the defendants knew the trailer's air conditioning was broken and unable to blow cool air to the migrants inside.

When the suspects opened the door after a three-hour journey, they found 48 of the migrants dead, including the pregnant woman, prosecutors allege. Sixteen others were taken to the hospital, five of whom died.

A grand jury indicted the four men on June 7 on a host of illegal transport charges that could result in life imprisonment if they are convicted, the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Western District of Texas said in a statement.

They were arrested on Monday in San Antonio, Houston and Marshall, Texas, and identified as Riley Covarrubias-Ponce, 30; Felipe Orduna-Torres, 28, Luis Alberto Rivera-Leal, 37, and Armando Gonzales-Ortega, 53, the statement said.

Reuters was unable to determine whether they had retained attorneys who could make any statement in their defense.

The arrests follow the indictments last year of four other suspects connected to the case, including the driver who police found hiding in the brush near the abandoned truck.

"The allegations in the indictment are horrifying. Dozens of desperate, vulnerable men, women and children put their trust in smugglers who abandoned them in a locked trailer to perish in the merciless south Texas summer," Jaime Esparza, the U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Texas, said in the statement.

New data is showing just how many Californians are contemplating leaving for freer pastures - and that's on top of the mass exodus that's already started from the dreadful liberal clown show that is the Golden State.

According to a poll conducted by California Opinion Surveys, nearly half (40%) of state residents now say they're “somewhat" or "very seriously considering” moving out of the state.

More than half a million people have left California in the last two years alone, making it the top state for permanent exits. In fact, at one point, the “California Exodus” was happening on such a massive scale that U-Haul ran out of trucks. Literally.

This should not be surprising, as California has fallen to almost complete ruin due to liberal, apocalyptic policies.

The number one reason survey participants gave for why they're contemplating leaving the state was the cost of living, with 61% of respondents reporting that “it is too expensive to live in California.”

The survey found that 68% of respondents - including those who don't necessarily want to leave - say they're dissatisfied with the condition of California’s economy, and 81% are unhappy with the cost of their everyday expenses. Which makes plenty of sense, considering California contains four out of the top 10 most expensive U.S. cities, and it also has the nation’s highest personal income tax.

Related: Criminals Control Our Cities - and Leftist Policies Are Entirely To Blame

Crime also ranked among Californians' highest concerns, with 59% of respondents reporting dissatisfaction with how the state is handling the issue. According to a press release from Yolo County from August 2022, a case study found that California’s zero-bail policies increased total crime by 163%, with violent crime rising by 200%.

Even still, a Los Angeles court judge reinstated the county’s zero-bail policy on May 24.

Amid the rise in shoplifting, a Whole Foods in San Francisco closed due to the amount of crime it was experiencing, citing employee safety. The store had previously attempted to remedy the problem by reducing their hours due to rising levels of theft and workers finding syringes and pipes scattered throughout its bathrooms.

If California is being toppled by a near-total lack of affordability and so much crime that it cannot even keep grocery stores open, how could anyone possibly want to stay?  It's sad to see a state that was once home of the American Dream now fall to ruin under senseless, left-wing policies.

Biden promised to expand immigration to the U.S. if elected president.

“Folks, look — the idea that there’s some limitation on the capacity of anyone who — on the immigrants in this country is absolutely bizarre! It’s absolutely bizarre.”

Biden, speaking to a packed crowd inside the Harbor Palace Seafood Restaurant on the eve of the next Democratic debate, addressed members of the Asian-American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community, urging them to turn out the vote ahead of Saturday’s caucuses.

Last month, the AAPI Victory Fund super PAC endorsed Biden for president, citing his ability to defeat President Donald Trump and his experience working with immigrant communities from South Asia, East Asia and the Pacific generally.

Though the AAPI immigrant community is politically diverse, it has trended Democratic in recent years.

Last year, Breitbart News reported, another local AAPI organization in Las Vegas expressed opposition to President Trump’s proposed merit-based system for legal immigration.

On Tuesday, Biden promised, if elected, to allow family reunification visas.

“We should be able to increase, to three million people, the people who could come for family reunification. Period, period, period, period.”

He called the idea that the U.S. could not “reunite” more families “absolutely bizarre.”

Biden also reminded his audience that Latinos were not the only beneficiaries of President Barack Obama’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, which applied to those brought to the country illegally as children.

He said there were “thousands and thousands of AAPI ‘Dreamers'” who had benefited from DACA as well.

Afterwards, Biden greeted attendees, some of whom proceeded to the Chinatown Mall to cast early votes before the polling place there closed.

Biden hopes to finish in the top three in Nevada, and to win South Carolina on Feb. 29, to make the case that he is still a top contender for his party’s nomination. Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) now leads national polls, as well as Nevada polls.

House GOP Report: Illegal Aliens Costing American Hospitals Billions in Unpaid Medical Bills

Illegal aliens released into the United States interior are costing American taxpayers, and the public hospitals they help fund, billions in unpaid medical bills every year, a report from Republicans on the House Homeland Security Committee details.

The report, wherein Chairman Mark Green (R-TN) notes the failures of President Joe Biden’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, revealed the extent to which illegal immigration wreaks havoc on the nation’s hospitals intended to provide first-class care for Americans and legal immigrants.

“Hospital and emergency room care for illegal aliens is one of the most significant expenses,” the report states, mentioning that illegal aliens typically have no form of health insurance and therefore rely especially on emergency room services for free care.

“Consequently, this has led to significant costs for hospitals because providers are often not reimbursed for these services,” the report states:

In a January 2021 filing challenging the Biden administration’s deportation moratorium, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton wrote that his state alone was required to pay anywhere between $62- 90 million per year to cover illegal aliens under its Emergency Medicaid program. [Emphasis added]

He also pointed out that between 2006-2008, uncompensated costs borne by Texas state hospitals providing care to illegal aliens ranged from $597 million to $717 million. That’s as much as $1.03 billion in May 2023 dollars. [Emphasis added]

In Florida, for Fiscal Year 2021, illegal aliens cost state hospitals about $312 million. Meanwhile, in Illinois, a statewide healthcare benefits program for illegal aliens has ballooned from a projected $2 to $4 million cost to what has now become a $1.1 billion program for taxpayers.

Locally, in Yuma, Arizona, executives with the Yuma Regional Medical Center said that in just one year, taxpayers were left with $26 million in unpaid medical bills from illegal aliens who showed up to the hospital requesting free care.

“Some migrants come to us with minor ailments but many of them come in with significant disease. We have had migrant patients on dialysis, cardiac catheterization and in need of heart surgery,” Dr. Robert Trenschel, CEO of the hospital, previously told the House Homeland Security Committee. “Many are very sick. They have long-term complications of chronic disease that have not been cared for. Some end up in the ICU for 60 days or more.”

One of the main strains on the hospital is pregnant illegal aliens arriving with little-to-no prior prenatal care, putting them at high risk for potentially serious complications which results in longer, costly stays at the hospital.

The issue has been raised by more than just House Republicans.

Most recently, Democrat presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. visited the U.S.-Mexico border to warn of the massive waves of illegal immigration that are straining the nation’s security and social safety net resources.

During his visit, Kennedy said he talked to local officials in Arizona who explained that their hospitals’ maternity wards are so packed with pregnant illegal aliens that American women are having to reschedule their delivery dates.

“Moms occupied 32 of 36 beds in Yuma hospital maternity ward so that local moms had to delay induced pregnancies for two weeks,” Kennedy wrote in a Twitter post.

Months ago, the Federation for American Immigration Reform reported that illegal immigration costs the nation’s hospital systems at least $23 billion annually — $8.2 billion of which is uncompensated medical care for illegal aliens.

Biden’s DHS Rewards Sanctuary Cities, NGOs with $290M for Resettling Illegal Aliens in U.S.

President Joe Biden is rewarding sanctuary cities and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) with more than $290 million in taxpayer money for  resettling border crossers and illegal aliens across the United States.

Biden’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is taking the millions in taxpayer money from the Shelter and Services Program (SSP) — a federal initiative launched by the administration and funded by Congress.

This week, DHS officials announced that more than $290 million from SSP had been rewarded to various towns and cities, many of which are sanctuary jurisdictions, along with NGOs like Catholic Charities and United Way for helping resettle hundreds of thousands of border crossers and illegal aliens across American communities after their release into the nation’s interior.

In total, 34 cities, towns, and NGOs are getting the millions in federal funds.

Many of the cities are sanctuary jurisdictions. For example, San Diego County, California, a sanctuary jurisdiction, is set to secure more than $15 million in SSP funds, while the sanctuary city of Denver, Colorado, will receive more than $8.6 million.

The sanctuary city of New York City is securing the largest amount of SSP funds, more than $104 million, to aid border crossers and illegal aliens, while the sanctuary city of Chicago has scored more than $10.5 million and the sanctuary state of Illinois will get nearly $19.4 million.

The World Hunger Ecumenical Arizona Task Force (WHEAT), an NGO based in Arizona, is set to get $15.5 million to help border crossers and illegal aliens across the state and Catholic Charities, across California and Texas, will rake in more than $24 million in SSP funds.

Last month, Reps. Jim Jordan (R-OH) and Lance Gooden (R-TX) requested a full accounting by the Biden administration in regard to federal funds being rewarded to cities and NGOs that are aiding illegal immigration in the U.S.

“The surge of illegal immigration, fueled in part by NGOs like those on the [Emergency Food and Shelter Program] National Board is unsustainable and unfair to law-abiding citizens and immigrants alike,” Gooden said.

Mexican Government Threatens DeSantis for Anti-Migration Policies

b4d2d6_mexico-president-andres-manuel-lopez-obrador-his-news-conference-he-is

Mexico’s pro-migration government is threatening to retaliate against Florida’s pro-American governor, Ron DeSantis, whose campaign-trail border policies are putting him on a collision course with Mexico’s president.

“The Government of Mexico emphatically condemns the practice of transporting migrant persons from states bordering Mexico toward other parts of the United States with electoral and political ends … Legal and diplomatic measures will be explored,” said the June 8 statement from Mexico’s foreign ministry.

Mexico’s government will “guarantee the defense of Mexican persons who live abroad, independently of their migratory status.” said the statement, which was revealed by TheHill.com com.

DeSantis’s campaign promises — and his flights of migrants to California — pose a growing political threat to the pro-migration policies favored by Mexico’s government.

On June 7, for example, DeSantis told a group of Texas sheriffs that if elected, he would pressure Mexico to block the flow of migrants and drugs across the U.S. border:

We have different levers that we can push — that would just be a no-brainer … The cartels directly, obviously, are a huge, huge problem. I mean, they’re responsible for killing in the last year tens of thousands of Americans. I mean, are you kidding me? To just turn a blind eye to it and do nothing? That’s a complete and utter failure.

Also, DeSantis’s press secretary scoffed at Mexico’s June 8 threat, which comes shortly after Mexico’s president slammed Governor DeSantis’s pro-America policies in Florida.

“From the U.S. Border, you can see individuals on Mexican soil engaged in drug and human trafficking,” Jeremy Redfern, press secretary for Gov. DeSantis, told Breitbart News on June 9. He added:

It would be great if the Mexican Government could focus on these problems rather than wasting its breath on some unfounded legal claim relating to illegal immigrants that voluntarily get a free ride to a sanctuary jurisdiction that purports to welcome them with open arms.

DeSantis’s pro-American stance is a growing problem for Mexico’s President AndrĂ©s Manuel LĂ³pez Obrador.

Obarado has repeatedly said he wants to work with Biden to move even more Latinos — including Mexicans — into the United States.

“Just imagine: There are 40 million Mexicans in the United States — 40 million [including people] who were born here in Mexico, [or] who are the children of people who were born in Mexico,” Obrador gushed at a January 10 press conference with President Joe Biden and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

Obrador continued:

I fully trust President Biden … I’ve asked President Biden to insist before the U.S. Congress to regularize the migration situations of millions of Mexicans who have been in the States working, living in the United States, and contributing to the development of that great nation, which is the United States of America.

As an ethnic Mexican nationalist, Obrador dislikes Mexican emigration — but he also supports more ethnic Latino migration into the United States. He said:

We do celebrate the fact that the U.S. administration has … made the decision, rather, to have an orderly migration flow in the case, for instance, of our Venezuelan brothers and sisters … Just as I was telling you that in the case of migration, first there were brothers and sisters from Central America and also from Mexico, but now, in recent times, a lot of migrants from Venezuela, from Nicaragua, Colombia, Ecuador.

Mexico’s priorities are a match for Biden’s deputies who want to import more poor, diverse migrants for entwined economic and “equity” reasons.

Biden’s deputies ignore the abundant evidence of the huge pocketbook and civic damage caused by migration to blue-collar and white-collar Americans and their communities.

DeSantis promised to oppose the easy-migration policies favored by Obrador.

“First of all, the border just needs to be shut down,” DeSantis said at June 7 border event, adding:

We need to be telling people ‘You’re not coming illegally, you’re not doing a bogus asylum claim, you’re not going to be able to cross the border whether that’s [because of a revived] Remain in Mexico [program], whether that’s just a deportation.” Watever [we] need to do, if [we] just do that, you’re going to see the number of people who are going to try to come will go down dramatically. So I think the whole thing needs to be shut down.

“I’m a big believer in constructing a border wall because you don’t you’re never going to have enough people to be able to cover the entire border,” he added.

“Mass migration just doesn’t work,” he said. “It’s imposing huge burdens on communities, education, health care, criminal justice, all that. That needs to come to an end.”

Unsurprisingly, American Latinos favor strong policies to defend their communities and wages from waves of labor migration.

But in his meetings with the Texas sheriffs, DeSantis did not mention the huge pocketbook damage imposed on Americans by legal and illegal migration. In a May speech, he said:

We determine as Americans what type of immigration system benefits our country, but when you’re doing immigration, it’s not for their benefit as foreigners, it’s for your benefit as Americans. So if there’s legal immigration that’s harming Americans, we shouldn’t do that either.

Heather Mac Donald of the Manhattan Institute has testified before a Congressional committee that in 2004, 95% of all outstanding warrants for murder in Los Angeles were for illegal aliens; in 2000, 23% of all Los Angeles County jail inmates were illegal aliens and that in 1995, 60% of Los Angeles’s largest street gang, the 18th Street gang, were illegal aliens.

WHO WILL JOE BIDEN'S ILLEGALS VOTE FOR???

Mexican President Tells U.S. Hispanics Not to Vote for DeSantis

Mexico’s President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador is asking Hispanics in Florida not to vote for Ron DeSantis in his bid for the 2024 presidential nomination. The Mexican politician claims that DeSantis, much like other Republicans, is using an anti-immigrant message for political purposes.

Despite his constant criticism of the U.S. government for interfering in other countries’ politics, Lopez Obrador (AMLO) openly called for Hispanics in Florida to not give a single vote to DeSantis.

“I’ll take the time to tell Mr. Santi [sic] who unmasked himself [this week], see I wasn’t wrong,” Lopez Obrador said as he waved his hand in a greeting fashion. “That all of his politicking about migrants was because he wants to be the candidate for the Republican Party.

The Mexican President criticized DeSantis claiming that he had applied anti-migrant policies in his state and as such he hoped that Hispanics repaid him at the polls.

“I hope the Hispanics in Florida wake up and don’t give him a single vote,” Lopez Obrador said. “That they don’t vote for those who target migrants. Those who don’t respect migrants.”

Lopez Obrador called DeSantis a hypocrite and asked for him to be investigated to see if he had hired migrants.

DeSantis, like various other U.S. politicians, have fiercely criticized Mexico’s government in connection with the current fentanyl crisis. The extremely dangerous drug is linked to record-setting overdose deaths. As Breitbart Texas has reported, Lopez Obrador falsely denied that fentanyl is produced in Mexico and claimed that the problem is caused by the U.S. demand for drugs. AMLO claimed that Florida should be investigated to see if the ports of that state could be the entry point for fentanyl from Asia.

As Breitbart Texas has reported, Lopez Obrador verbally clashed with U.S. politicians who he believes are interfering in Mexican politics. He has also stated that he will be asking people to not vote for certain candidates that do not align with his view.

190 Pounds of Fentanyl Seized at Arizona Immigration Checkpoint

Yuma Sector Border Patrol agents seized more than 190 pounds of fentanyl at an interior immigration checkpoint.

Retiring U.S. Border Patrol Chief Raul Ortiz tweeted photos from an immigration checkpoint near Yuma, Arizona. The images, taken last week, show more than 190 pounds hidden behind the rear seats of the alleged smuggler’s vehicle.

As the vehicle approached the Interstate 8 immigration checkpoint on May 30, a Border Patrol K-9 alerted to the possible presence of drugs in the pickup truck. A physical search of the vehicle led to the discovery of plastic-wrapped packages of drugs.

Chief Ortiz reported that the 190 pounds of fentanyl are enough to provide more than 40 million lethal doses.

Yuma Sector Chief Patrol Agent Patricia McGurk-Daniel reported the value of the drugs to be more than $2 million.

A few days later, Arizona Department of Public Safety troopers seized more than 229 pounds of fentanyl pills. The troopers found the drugs during a traffic stop on Interstate 19 near Amado, Arizona.

Border Patrol Agent Fidel Cabrera told KYMA, “It’s one of the largest if not the largest [fentanyl seizure] we’ve had here in Yuma.”

Between October 1, 2022, and April 30, 2023, Yuma Sector agents apprehended 289 pounds of fentanyl, according to a CBP report. This seven-month total nearly equals the total seizures of fentanyl for the past three years combined. Adding in the seizure above brings this year’s total to approximately 480 pounds compared to 336 pounds for the prior three years combined. The seizure by Arizona DPS cited above will not be included in the CBP reports.

Agents in the San Diego Sector also seized 112 pounds of fentanyl pills on Interstate 8 near Pine Valley, California, on May 18, Breitbart Texas reported. During FY23, San Diego Sector agents seized 866 pounds of fentanyl through the end of April, the CBP report states. During the same period last year, agents seized nearly 420 pounds of the deadly drug.

San Diego Sector Border Patrol agents seized approximately 112 pounds of fentanyl. The seizure followed a traffic stop on Interstate 8 near the Pine Valley checkpoint on May 18.

San Diego Sector Chief Patrol Agent Aaron M. Heitke tweeted photos of bundles of blue fentanyl pills seized by Campo Station agents near the Interstate 8 checkpoint. The fentanyl weighed approximately 112 pounds.

Campo Station agents conducted an immigration inspection traffic stop on Interstate 8 near Pine Valley, California, on May 18, according to a statement from Border Patrol officials. During the stop, a Border Patrol K-9 team conducted a walk-around search of the vehicle. The K-9 alerted to the possible presence of drugs in the SUV.

The agents transported the driver, a U.S. citizen, and the vehicle to the nearby immigration checkpoint for a physical search of the vehicle. During the search, the agents found nine plastic-wrapped packages containing blue pills.

The pills tested positive for fentanyl, officials stated. Agents determined the weight of the pills to be 112 pounds with an estimated street value of more than $1.5 million.

The agents turned the driver over to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department. The Drug Enforcement Administration took possession of the fentanyl pills.

“Transnational criminal organizations do everything they can to distribute these harmful narcotics and earn their profits with no regard for the destructive effects they have on our communities,” San Diego Sector Chief Patrol Agent Aaron M. Heitke said in a written statement. “Our Border Patrol agents remain vigilant, day and night, to intercept these poisons and the smugglers who transport them.”

Department of Public Safety troopers working the border region near Fronton, Texas, encountered a group of armed migrants. The troopers seized two tactical rifles found in the possession of the migrants.

DPS spokesman Lt. Chris Olivarez told Breitbart Texas that troopers and National Guard soldiers working the border under Governor Greg Abbott’s Operation Lone Star border security mission, apprehended a group of five migrants last week — two were armed with AR-15-style rifles.

The men are believed to be connected to the Cartel Del Noreste faction of Los Zetas, Olivarez stated. “One of the men told CID special agents they came under fire from Mexican law enforcement and fled across the Rio Grande,” Olivarez stated. All of the men were found wearing camouflage making the search to find them more difficult.

Border Patrol agents from the Laredo Sector and Texas law enforcement conducted a search of the area where the first group was found. During the search, the team found two more migrants — both juveniles. Law enforcement sources said the juveniles looked afraid from what they had encountered on the Mexican side of the river.

Los Angeles Officially Declares ‘Sanctuary City’ Status for Criminal Illegal Aliens

The city of Los Angeles, California, has officially declared itself a “sanctuary city” to shield criminal illegal aliens from arrest and deportation by the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency — a decision that will enshrine the policy into its municipal code.

This week, the Los Angeles City Council made the official move to codify the region’s sanctuary policy, whereas prior directives were merely symbolic and thus subject to changes.

The sanctuary city designation, which mirrors California’s sanctuary state law, dictates that no city resources are used for federal immigration enforcement — barring local agencies from cooperating with ICE agents to turn criminal illegal aliens over for deportation.

The policy also requests Los Angeles officials to create routes for agencies to avoid sharing data with ICE agents.

Already, Los Angeles had been imposing a sanctuary policy that has local law enforcement releasing  75 to 100 criminal illegal aliens from its custody every day, according to data revealed in 2019.

California, today, has the nation’s largest illegal alien population, with nearly 3.3 million illegal aliens residing across the sanctuary state. This is an illegal population larger than the resident populations of 20 states, including Nevada, Idaho, Arkansas, Kansas, New Mexico, and Iowa.

City Council Resolution Formally Declares Los Angeles a ‘Sanctuary City’

The Los Angeles City Council formally approved a resolution Friday declaring the City of Angels a “sanctuary city” for illegal aliens.

The council unanimously passed the resolution in a 12-0 vote, formally declaring Los Angeles “a city of sanctuary” for those residing in the U.S. illegally “who have been under attack in this Trump era,” CBS Los Angeles reported.

“We declare, for all those who have been under attack in this Trump era, that this city, in this day, in this time, will be a city of sanctuary,” City Councilman Gil Cedillo said. “It will be a place where people will know that they will be judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin, and not by who they choose to love, and not by when they got here. They will be judged by their contributions to our city.”

The council’s non-binding resolution was more of a symbolic gesture, as it does not change the city’s laws.

But the resolution did allow the city to create a commission tasked with investigating civil rights violations and imposing a $125,000 to $250,000 fine on those who commit acts of violence or harassment.

Friday’s resolution made Los Angeles’s sanctuary city status official, but the Los Angeles Police Department has had longstanding sanctuary policies on the books.

Officers have been told not to arrest individuals just because they entered the U.S. illegally and bar federal immigration authorities from access to county jails without a federal warrant.

In 2017, Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti also promoted the city’s sanctuary policies prohibiting federal immigration officials from enforcing federal laws on illegal immigration at the local level.

When President Trump announced that year that the federal government would withhold federal funding from cities that did not enforce federal laws on illegal immigration, Garcetti defended Los Angeles’s position as a sanctuary city.

Los Angeles County report confirms that

deputy gangs are rampant in Sheriff’s

Department

John Andrews

On March 3, a special counsel charged with oversight of the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department (LASD) issued a report that documents deputy gangs engaging in “egregious conduct such as violations of law, the excessive use of force [and] threats to the public or Department members.”

According to the special counsel, deputy gangs operating over the last 50 years in patrol stations located in predominantly working class and minority neighborhoods, including the Banditos, Executioners, Regulators, Spartans, Grim Reapers, Rattlesnakes and Vikings, recruit male deputy sheriffs based on their ethnicity and willingness to engage in violence and coverups.

The report states that among the 80 or so people interviewed, “several witnesses would only testify anonymously and some did so remotely, using a voice distortion device out of fear of physical or professional retaliation. Several witnesses who had agreed to testify withdrew, often the night before the proposed testimony, out of similar fears.”

The report accuses prior Sheriff Alex Villanueva, who lost reelection last November, of “appointing known tattooed members of Deputy Gangs and Deputy Cliques to leadership positions in the Department” and “permitting the revival of emblems signifying membership in such groups.”

“The claim that Deputy Gangs no longer exist in the Department is flatly and inarguably false,” according to the report.

The Rand Corporation reports that 15 to 20 percent of LASD deputies join gangs. Membership is usually confirmed by a leg tattoo, frequently bearing a sequential roman numeral. “Inking parties” are held to initiate new members at the gang’s chosen tattoo parlor after a deputy-involved shooting or other act of brutality. Deputies have been observed using language, gestures and even graffiti associated with the street gangs they are supposedly policing, while aggressively targeting co-workers they deem “rats.”

Deputy gangs were originally dominated by white men, but, like the LASD itself, are now increasingly Latino. African American and female deputies are generally excluded.

The population of Los Angeles County is almost 10 million, one out of every 35 people who live in the United States today. The county alone is more populous than 40 of the 50 states. Riven by extreme social inequality, with 30 billionaires and almost 70,000 people unhoused, Los Angeles County consists of pockets of ostentatious wealth, mostly concentrated in Westside communities such as Malibu, Beverly Hills and Bel Air, alongside massive working class communities that include large populations of recent immigrants crammed into neighborhoods circling downtown, and fanning south to the San Pedro harbor and east to borders with San Bernardino and Orange Counties.

The LASD employs 15,000 people, about half of whom are sworn deputies, and runs the country’s largest jail system, with an average daily inmate population also numbering about 15,000. Typically, after several years in the jails, deputies are assigned to patrol at one of the 23 substations that cover unincorporated county communities and the 42 cities that contract with the LASD rather than operate their own police department. With an annual budget of $3.6 billion, the LASD is one of the largest law enforcement agencies in the United States.

Deputy gangs arise out of the need for force to maintain social inequality. They epitomize the thuggery rampant in such “special bodies of armed men”—the apt description Engels and Lenin used for law enforcement agencies under bourgeois rule, which captures their essential role as defenders of capitalist exploitation.

LASD deputy gangs date back at least to the “Little Red Devils” formed in the early 1970s by white deputies assigned to the East Los Angeles substation, nicknamed “Fort Apache” after the John Wayne movie that glamorized a cavalry outpost in the genocidal wars waged against Native Americans.

As spearheads in the suppression of mass demonstrations against the Vietnam War during the “Chicano Moratorium,” the Little Red Devils’ most prominent casualty was Los Angeles Times commentator Ruben Salazar, who died after being struck in the head by a teargas canister fired into a bar where he sought refuge from rampaging deputies. A subsequently 1973 report on these events identified 38 deputies from the East Los Angeles substation with sequentially numbered tattoos of a devil, the first official acknowledgment that deputy gangs were “inking.”

In the early 1990s media reports and litigation exposed the Vikings, a particularly violent deputy gang at the Lynwood substation, the existence of which was confirmed in the 1992 report of an earlier special counsel, James G. Kolts. In a federal civil rights lawsuit, District Judge Terry J. Hatter accurately labeled the Vikings “a neo-Nazi, white supremacist gang,” and the county subsequently paid $9 million to settle injury claims asserted by dozens of the Vikings’ victims.

Although never proved in court, Vikings were suspected to have perpetrated the still unsolved drive-by shooting of Lloyd Polk, after he brokered a peace meeting among rival Lynwood street gangs.

As detailed in the recent special counsel report, deputy gangs have metastasized throughout the LASD. A tattooed founding member of the Vikings, Paul Tanaka, rose to the rank of undersheriff, second in command, and was noted to have actively promoted several Vikings and Regulators into higher management positions. Tanaka and former Sheriff Lee Baca were convicted of conspiring to block the FBI from investigating jail abuses. Tanaka was sentenced to five years federal imprisonment and Baca three.

Baca’s successor, Jim McDonnell, took down the “Fort Apache” logo at the East Los Angeles substation, but Villanueva restored it after defeating McDonnell in 2018 with the backing of prominent Democrats, who openly campaigned for a sheriff “of color.” (Villanueva is half Polish and half Puerto Rican. He speaks Spanish fluently.) Villanueva also rehired and elevated to his inner circle Carl Mandoyan, a tattooed member of the Grim Reapers, the deputy gang formed at the South Los Angeles substation, whose emblem is a faceless, black-robed figure carrying a scythe, the symbol of death.

At the East Los Angeles substation, the Banditos grew to replace the Cavemen, a deputy gang that had replaced the Little Red Devils. The tattoo is a skull with a thick mustache, wearing a bandolier and sombrero, and brandishing a gun. According to one witness, “Banditos had to be Mexican American, Central Americans could not become Banditos.” As is the practice in other deputy gangs, a shooting allowed the member to embellish the barrel of his tattooed firearm with smoke.

One deputy gang, the “Jump Out Boys,” actually formed within the LASD’s own anti-gang detail, “Operation Safe Streets” (OSS). The tattoo depicts a red-eyed skull wearing a bandana adorned with the letters “OSS” and holding a revolver next to an ace and eight of spades, symbolizing the “dead man’s hand” in poker.

Even helicopter deputies formed a racist group, the “Ghetto Birds,” founded by a deputy with a Viking tattoo. The report suggests that the gang has been successful over the years in excluding African American deputies from the Aero Bureau.

According to the report, there are at least a half dozen deputy gangs currently active at LASD patrol stations in working class areas. The official tattoo of one, the Compton-based Executioners, is a skeleton with a German World War II helmet holding an automatic rifle.

These gangs, or “cliques” as the report sometimes soft-pedals them, “run the stations or units where they exist ... often decide assignments and shifts, training, and overtime; exclude deputies from the Deputy Cliques, often based on race, ethnicity or gender; intimidate deputies that are not part of the Deputy Cliques; give orders not to provide backup to disfavored deputies who are not members of the Deputy Cliques,” and “order work slowdowns if management of a station attempts to rein them in.”

“Most troubling,” the report explains, “they create rituals that valorize violence, such as recording all deputy involved shootings in an official book, celebrating with ‘shooting parties,’ and authorizing deputies who have shot a community member to add embellishments to their common gang tattoos.”

The deputy gangs “operate in secrecy; lie in reports to protect each other; and threaten the public with use of excessive force without justification and belittle deputies unwilling to engage in such acts,” the report concludes.

Like their more overtly neo-fascist counterparts, such as the “Oath Keepers” who spearheaded the storming of the US Capitol on January 6, 2021, deputy gangs cannot be eliminated by reforms because they are organically tied to the class struggle the deputies are employed to suppress. That is why deputy gangs can only be eliminated through the overthrow of capitalist property by the international working class.

Officials Confirm Migrants Flown to California Went Voluntarily, After California Accuses Florida of Kidnapping

Ron DeSantis and Gavin Newsom
June 7, 2023

Florida officials have released a statement clarifying that migrants flown from the southern border to California signed waivers and gave consent to be transported, addressing accusations from Governor Gavin Newsom (D., Calif.) that  the state had kidnapped migrants.

In response to the migrants being moved to California, Newsom took to Twitter to accuse Florida governor Ron DeSantis (R.) of kidnapping. He later released a statement announcing that the California Justice Department had opened a criminal investigation into the transportation of the migrants.

A spokeswoman for the Florida Division of Emergency Management said that "through verbal and written consent, these volunteers indicated they wanted to go to California." The state released a video showing migrants celebrating as they were moved to California and telling immigration officials that they had been treated well. Government officials coordinated with Catholic Charities to ensure the migrants were cared for when they arrived.

This isn’t the first high profile instance of Republicans sending migrants to sanctuary cities and states. Last year, Florida sent planes carrying illegal immigrants to Martha’s Vineyard, an affluent liberal community in Massachusetts.

"States like Massachusetts, New York and California will better facilitate the care of these individuals who they have invited into our country by incentivizing illegal immigration through their designation as ‘sanctuary states’ and support for the Biden administration’s open border policies," a spokeswoman for the state of Florida said at the time.

RFK Jr: Border Hospitals Packed with Pregnant Migrants, Forcing American Women to Delay Deliveries

Hospitals along the United States-Mexico border are so packed with pregnant migrant women that American women are being forced to delay their scheduled deliveries, Democrat presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. says.

As Breitbart News reported on Tuesday, Kennedy visited the southern border to bring awareness to the issue of illegal immigration, which has skyrocketed under President Joe Biden.

Kennedy said the illegal immigration problem under Biden is so straining for American border towns and beyond, pregnant American women are having to delay their scheduled deliveries so that pregnant migrant women can be readily cared for at their local hospitals.

“Moms occupied 32 of 36 beds in Yuma hospital maternity ward so that local moms had to delay induced pregnancies for two weeks,” Kennedy wrote in a Twitter post.

“Unfortunately, the Biden administration has let its relationship with Mexico and the Central American countries deteriorate, and we need cooperative agreements with all of them to stop the flow of immigration,” Kennedy told Breitbart News.

Such cooperative agreements with Central America, supported by Kennedy, were imposed by the former Trump administration, but Biden canceled all of them after taking office.

In February, Dr. Robert Trenschel of the Yuma Regional Medical Center detailed how in just one year, local taxpayers were left with $26 million in unpaid medical bills from border crossers and illegal aliens who showed up to the hospital needing care.

The Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) found in research published months ago that illegal immigration costs the nation’s hospital systems at least $23 billion annually. Roughly $8.2 billion of uncompensated medical care for illegal aliens is charged to taxpayers every year.

From February 2021 to mid-April 2023, Biden has welcomed about five million border crossers and illegal aliens to the U.S. — millions of whom were released directly into American communities by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

LOS ANGELES COUNTY ALONG PUTS OUT $1.5 BILLION YEARLY FOR ANCHOR BABY WELFARE.. NOT ONE LEGAL VOTED FOR THE ANCHOR BABY WELFARE STATE IN L.A. COUNTRY OR ANYWHERE ELSE IN AMERIA!

Many Democrats understand that the welfare checks for foreign children will encourage more illegal immigration, he said:

They know what’s going on. But they know that they can’t say what their true goal is, which is actual open borders with open, uncontrolled migration both ways. And this is a step toward getting rid of borders.

Border Crossers Getting into U.S. via Loophole in Biden’s Migrant Mobile App

Border crossers are getting into the United States via a loophole in President Joe Biden’s migrant mobile app which allows foreign nationals in Mexico to schedule appointments at the southern border for release into the nation’s interior.

For more than two years, Biden’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has implemented a number of programs in its expansive catch and release network, including the “CBP One” mobile app.

The mobile app entices foreign nationals in Mexico who are pregnant, mentally ill, elderly, disabled, homeless, or crime victims to schedule an appointment with DHS officials at the border in the hopes of being released into American communities.

Border Report now reveals that even border crossers who are not eligible or failing to secure appointments through the mobile app are using a loophole in the system to get into the U.S. interior.

“… some migrants have found a loophole in the requirement and have begun camping out at the San Ysidro Port of Entry waiting for access to the U.S.,” Border Report reports:

Migrants like Cesar Segura, are claiming the technology used by the CBP One online system for appointments is faulty, thus giving him and others a reason to ask for an appointment in person at ports of entry such as San Ysidro. [Emphasis added]

Migrants are allowed to seek entry into the U.S. at a port of entry if they can’t use the CBP One app due “to language barriers, illiteracy or technical issues.” [Emphasis added]

Judging by the long line, many migrants are becoming aware of this loophole and are camping out along the pedestrian lanes leading into the border crossing from Tijuana. Many can be seen walking up to CBP officers who take down names and nationalities. [Emphasis added]

Among the border crossers taking advantage of the mobile app loophole are those from Venezuela, Russia, various countries in Asia, and many countries in Central and South America.

As Breitbart News reported this week, Biden’s DHS has increased the number of foreign nationals that it will now allow to use the mobile app to get into the U.S. interior. Annually, close to half a million will be able to schedule appointments at the border and subsequently get released into the country at a 99 percent success rate.

From late January to mid-May, the mobile app helped get more than 80,000 foreign nationals released into the U.S. interior.

This week, as Breitbart News exclusively reported, Indiana Attorney General Todd Rokita (R) filed a lawsuit against the Biden administration for its use of programs like the mobile app, among others, that is helping release tens of thousands of border crossers and illegal aliens into American communities every month.
