Chain Migration and the Diversity Visa Program: Legal Immigration at Its Worst

Is Cultural Leniency in Order for Afghan Sexual Offenders?

Excerpt: Even if Adil was indeed “rigorously screened” and all the documents pertaining to his judicial history in Afghanistan were available, he would still have been cleared to enter the United States. In Adil’s case, nothing was missed because there was probably nothing to find. As Adil’s lawyer underlined, some sexual conduct that is deemed criminal in the United States is considered normal in Afghanistan, hence the absence of any record of misconduct on that front from his hometown.

Biden Imports Record Number of Migrants in August

President Joe Biden’s migrant inflow in August broke several records, including record inflows of all migrants, Mexicans, and non-working dependents.

The inflow is likely to break more records during September because Democrats and their business allies are inviting a vast number of migrants to take wages, housing, school slots, and government aid that would otherwise go to Americans — including millions of sick, alienated, or old Americans who have been discarded by employers and government officials.

The poverty-expanding migrant inflow is not caused by foreign disasters and poverty but by the U.S. government’s radical pro-business policy.

“We’re significantly expanding legal pathways to entry so businesses can get workers they need,” Biden admitted on September 21 during a speech to the Congressional Hispanic Caucus. “Folks, we’ve fundamentally changed the direction of our economy to grow it from … the bottom up.”

Biden will likely release a record 3 million migrants into the United States by the end of the government’s September 30 to October 1 accounting year. That illegal inflow is almost one migrant for every American birth.

Overall, the huge inflow of legal and illegal inflow migrants will likely hit 4.5 million migrants in 2023.

That nation-changing inflow imports up to roughly nine migrants for every seven American births.

The Records

1: Biden’s deputies welcomed about 260,000 migrants across the border in August, or 23 times the inflow of 11,652 migrants in October of 2020, or Fiscal Year 2021. That date was President Donald Trump’s last full month before his defeat in the 2020 election.

The 260,000 arrivals in August 2023 include 232,972 migrants allowed across the border as Title 8 migrants, plus the monthly inflow of roughly 30,000 migrants each month who are being invited to fly into U.S. airports from their home countries.

2. Biden’s pro-migration border chief — Alejandro Mayorkas — also welcomed 55,502 Mexican migrants, even though he has the legal authority to send the migrants back over the border. This is an 11-fold jump from December 2020 — which was Trump’s last month in office — when 4,758 Mexicans were allowed across the border.

Mayorkas is accepting more Mexican migrants in exchange for cooperation from Mexico’s pro-migrant government, which is now helping to regulate — not stop — the flow of worldwide migrants across its territory. The Mexicans’ cooperation minimizes the media visibility of Biden’s global inflow into Americans’ society.

3. Mayorkas is also extracting more migrants from the Central American countries of Guatemala, El Salvador, and Honduras. This flow has jumped from 3,766 in December 2020 under Trump, up to 79,190 in August 2023. That growth marks a 21-fold increase by Biden.

4.  Mayorkas is also expanding the number of migrants that use his “CPB One” cellphone app to ask for appointments at the official gates at the border. The gates are managed by the Office of Field Operations (OFO), and they processed 51,913 migrants in August, up 47-fold from the 1,106 migrants admitted by OFO during Trump’s last full month.

5.  The chart also shows a record inflow of women and children, nearly all of whom are trying to join men who were allowed into the United States in prior months. The inflow of dependents reached 131,144 in August, up 60 times from the inflow of 2,162 in October 2020.

Missing Data

Importantly, this inflow of 260,000 migrants does not include the “gotaways” who sneak across the border to avoid the registration-and-release process. That number was likely above 50,000 in August. Nearly all of the “gotaways” are young men, including many fathers who plan to bring their wives and children to the United States after working for a year.

Overall, the 2023 inflow of “getaways” is likely to hit 600,000 in 2023.

That means Biden’s deputies will have encouraged the inflow of 3 million economic migrants in 2023 across the southern border.

The numbers also ignore the huge inflow of about 500,000 legal migrants and 1 million visa workers in 2022.

The numbers also hide the indirect and direct economic costs of migration. For example, Biden’s offer of temporary amnesty to Venezuelans is likely to encourage more Venezuelan migrants into Americans’ jobs, neighborhoods, and schools.

Extraction Migration

The federal government has long operated an unpopular economic policy of Extraction Migration. This colonialism-like policy extracts vast amounts of human resources from needy countries, reduces beneficial trade, and uses the imported workers, renters, and consumers to grow Wall Street and the economy.

The migrant inflow has successfully forced down Americans’ wages and also boosted rents and housing prices. The inflow has also pushed many native-born Americans out of careers in a wide variety of business sectors and contributed to the rising death rate of poor Americans.

The lethal policy also sucks jobs and wealth from heartland states by subsidizing coastal investors with a flood of low-wage workers, high-occupancy renters, and government-aided consumers.

The population inflow also reduces the political clout of native-born Americans, because the population replacement allows elites and the establishment to divorce themselves from the needs and interests of ordinary Americans.

In many speeches, Mayorkas says he is building a mass migration system to deliver workers to wealthy employers and investors and “equity” to poor foreigners. The nation’s border laws are subordinate to elite opinion about “the values of our country” Mayorkas claims.

Migration — and especially, labor migration — is unpopular among swing voters. A 54 percent majority of Americans say Biden is allowing a southern border invasion, according to an August 2022 poll commissioned by the left-of-center National Public Radio (NPR). The 54 percent “invasion” majority included 76 percent of Republicans, 46 percent of independents, and even 40 percent of Democrats.

Tim Scott: ‘I Will Fix Our Southern Border by Closing It and Finishing the Wall’

Senator Tim Scott (R-SC), a candidate for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination, said on this week’s broadcast of “Fox News Sunday” that he would finish the border wall started by former President Donald Trump.

Scott said, “The southern border has led to deaths of 70,000 Americans because of fentanyl in last 12 months. As president of the United States, I will fix our southern border by closing it and finishing the wall. I will use 5 billion to use military-grade technology available today on our borders. This is simple for us to solve. We need a president who gets the job done.”

He continued, “Washington is out of touch with the rest of the nation. One reason we need change in the nation’s Capitol, Washington is so consistently broken. The American people don’t trust people in Washington. I understand that as guy who spends time in Washington and a lot of time in South Carolina. I can say to leaders of this nation, ‘Bless your heart,’ which is Southern way of saying you guys don’t get it.”

Scott added, “Here is what Governor Abbott is saying, sending illegal immigrants to New York City, where Mayor Eric Adams says you guys don’t get it. He sound like the governor of Texas. When you see spat happening in the Democratic Party, it is because President Biden refuses to fix a fixable problem on our southern border by not selling construction material. That is what he’s doing: selling construction material needed to complete the wall. We need a president who reinstates remain in Mexico policy.”

Joe Biden’s ‘unpopularity’ needs no explanation

Americans’ distaste for “Bidenomics” and Joe Biden’s unpopularity are realities easily understood and explained, but apparently mainstream media operative Rick Newman didn’t get the memo, and penned an essay trying to get to the bottom of it, as excerpted below:

Democrats have struggled to understand how job growth can be stellar and unemployment close to record lows, yet President Biden’s approval rating remains stuck in the low 40% range. An even smaller portion of Americans approve of Biden’s handling of the economy.

Inflation is the culprit. Nominal wages have risen, but inflation has risen more. ‘The rate of inflation outstripped the rate of pay increases so that the income of most households did not buy as much,’ William Galston of the Brookings Institution wrote recently. ‘Americans noticed this decrease, and as the polls indicate, they did not like it.’

For now, however, many voters sense that they were doing better when Donald Trump was president, even if they don’t like Trump. The data supports that, to some extent.

Voters tend to credit or blame the president for whatever happens on his watch, but the economy is a gargantuan, complex machine that doesn’t respond much to presidential policies.

So what about Biden? Voters clearly blame him for inflation that reached a peak of 9% in June of 2022. It’s now down to 3.7%, a considerable improvement. But Biden’s approval rating hasn’t improved as inflation has come down, which indicates voters are still feeling the pain of inflation and not yet in a mood to forgive the incumbent for lost purchasing power.

Destroying the private sector with cumbersome government regulation, as Biden loves to do, is the main problem. The public does not want to be forced to give up their gas-powered cars and appliances, and forced by the government to buy inefficient, expensive, impractical vehicles powered by a flammable pollutant.

His unpopularity can also be explained by the fact that he refuses to enforce immigration laws, and hamstrings ICE and Border Patrol from doing their jobs; it is clear to everyone except leftist reporters apparently, that he is an incompetent, corrupt president who is also a congenital liar.

Newman also notes that “real income” is finally “positive again … thanks to a rapidly falling inflation rate.” Yes the rate of inflation has slowed but the prices have not dropped from their escalated levels; also, Newman should look at real income after taxes instead of gross real income. I am sure that is still down, which is why people have no savings, are running up credit card debt, and living paycheck to paycheck.

Somehow Newman can’t figure out that President Trump’s lower tax rate, decreased regulations, and energy independence policies were what caused real wages to accelerate. Trump’s policies were the rising tide that lifted all boats, and they succeeded despite the massive efforts of most of the media, the bureaucracy, and other Democrats to destroy him every day he was in office.

On his first day in office, Biden sought to reverse Trump’s policies, especially on energy and the border.

Per Newman:

Biden’s critics are convinced that a single piece of legislation — the $2.2 trillion CARES Act Biden signed in March 2021 — is solely responsible for the inflation that peaked a year later, hammering family budgets. That’s mostly false.

This is a BS paragraph. All of Biden’s policies contribute, especially massive spending with the U.S. dollar when we are already $32 trillion in the hole. Somehow Newman never mentions Biden’s massive effort to destroy companies that use natural resources to produce reasonably priced energy to pretend the government can control temperatures, sea levels, and storm activity.

He also said this:

Supply chain snafus caused by the pandemic contributed more to inflation, as did massive shifts in spending patterns by Americans suddenly stuck at home, buying everything they could find. There were other factors, too, but as any politician knows, when you’re explaining, you’re losing.

This is also garbage. Inflation remained low during 2020 with the supply chain problems and COVID, and the economy grew rapidly the last half of 2020, before Biden took office, despite all the lies that Biden and most of the media tell the public to intentionally mislead them.

Mainstream journalism is basically a lost cause as people like Newman are essentially campaign workers for Democrats, and nothing but the truth and objective reporting is going to restore Americans’ trust in the press.

TX Border Sheriff: Problem We’ve Had for ‘Two Years’ Is ‘Getting Worse’ and We’re Getting ‘Nothing’ from Feds

On Friday’s edition of NBC’s “Top Story,” Maverick County, TX Sheriff Tom Schmerber said that the problem along the border in Eagle Pass, TX has “been here for two years now, and it’s getting worse.” And they’re getting “Nothing” from the federal government and the only help they’re getting is from the State of Texas and the state’s Gov. Greg Abbott (R).

Schmerber stated, “I never thought I would see in Eagle Pass all kinds of immigrants coming through here, a lot of countries. And just like — they’re not afraid. They were just walking in line, crossing the river, walking in line, and being processed by the officers, immigration and troopers.”

He added, “We’re going to get more waves, and I am worried.”

Host Tom Llamas then asked, “Secretary Mayorkas is going to go to McAllen, TX with the president of Honduras. Does it bother you that they’re not coming here to Eagle Pass?”

Schmerber answered, “It does, because we’ve been here — this problem’s been here for two years now, and it’s getting worse. And I haven’t seen a higher official like the vice president, whoever it is, coming here to Eagle Pass. I know the vice president went to El Paso a long time ago, but never here. This is where they belong –.”

Llamas then cut in to ask, “What more do you need here? Because yesterday, I had Rep. Tony Gonzales (R-TX) saying that Eagle Pass had not received any federal dollars. The Biden administration disputed that. Are you receiving federal help?”

Schmerber answered, “Nothing. The only help we are getting is from the state, the Governor. He helped us with, of course, grant money. And with that money, we hired a few more deputies and equipment that we needed. And we have a second grant this month…so we can get more equipment and troopers.”
