REMEMBER THE DEMOCRATS WILL CRAWL IN BED WITH ANYONE! - Pelosi: China Is Terrible on a Lot, But ‘We Have to Find an Accommodation’ on U.S.-China Relations, Solve Climate

WHY DID PELOSI BRING HER SON ALONG ON HER LAST RIP TO RED CHINA? WAS IT TO SNIFF OUT DEALS FOR BRIBES???

HOW DEMS SELL US OUT TO THEIR CHINESE PAYMASTERS

Pelosi: China Is Terrible on a Lot, But ‘We Have to Find an Accommodation’ on U.S.-China Relations, Solve Climate

During portions of an interview with Bloomberg released on Thursday, Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) stated that “we have to find an accommodation” with how the U.S. and China treat each other, and while China is awful on security, the economy, and human rights, “we have a shared planet, and we have to work with the Chinese to save the planet, because they’re now, I think, the biggest emitter, if not us, they’re second, and they are part of the solution in all of this.” But we shouldn’t reward China, but have a “mutual discussion about how we can go forward.”

Pelosi said, “China’s a big country, and so are we. And we have to find an accommodation on how we treat each other. But, in terms of the three things I named: Security, China has been a violator of transferring technology of weapons of mass destruction to rogue countries, A. B, in terms of economics, they’ve been — violated almost every trade standard of access, of piracy, of obeying…rules and the rest. And in terms of governance…Hong Kong, Tibet, Uyghurs, threat to Taiwan, and the rest. So, we don’t have shared values. But we have a shared planet, and we have to work with the Chinese to save the planet, because they’re now, I think, the biggest emitter, if not us, they’re second, and they are part of the solution in all of this.”

Pelosi also stated [relevant remarks begin around 40:25 of second video] that she has “been a strong critic of China in so many respects, security, economics, and governance. Still, we have to work together in certain areas and we have to find those. I don’t think we find them by rewarding them. I think we find them by mutual discussion about how we can go forward.”

According to Bloomberg, she also said the trade deficit with China was immoral and criticized companies for chasing profits from dealings in China and ignoring human rights.

Chinese Company Employing CCP Members to Build Battery Plants in Michigan After Biden Approval

A Chinese company, now revealed to employ hundreds of Chinese Communist Party (CCP) members, is set to build two electric vehicle battery plants in northern Michigan after scoring approval from Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D) and President Joe Biden.

Earlier this year, Democrats in the Michigan legislature approved plans by Gotion Inc. to build a $2.3 billion battery plant near Big Rapids with millions in state taxpayer money and potentially billions in federal tax credits as well.

Similarly, Gotion Inc. is looking to build a second battery plant in Michigan.

In June Biden’s Treasury Department approved the Gotion battery plant project outside of Big Rapids. At the beginning of this month, Gotion purchased nearly 300 acres of land in Green Charter Township where the plant will eventually sit — just 100 miles from Camp Grayling, which is the largest United States National Guard training site.

According to an ESG report, published by the Daily Caller, Gotion’s parent company employs hundreds of CCP members and is led by a member of the CCP, despite repeated denials from executives that the company is controlled by the party.

The Daily Caller reports:

“Gotion High-Tech founded a CCP branch in 2010 that was upgraded to a CCP committee in 2014,” reads Gotion High-Tech’s 2022 ESG Report. “The CCP committee’s subunits are two CCP general branches and 11 party branches, currently with 923 CCP members, among which over 50% hold master’s degrees or higher.” [Emphasis added]

Gotion High-Tech’s CEO, Li Zhen, is also identified as the party secretary for the firm’s CCP committee within a section of the 2022 ESG report highlighting the company’s 2022 “party building work situation.” [Emphasis added]

The revelation comes weeks after a Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) filing, reported by Fox News, discovered that Gotion was registered as a Chinese foreign principal.

Meanwhile, residents in northern Michigan are outraged by the prospect of a CCP-linked company buying up hundreds of acres of land and becoming a major employer in their small community.

Gotion’s battery plant is not the only Chinese investment worrying residents. As Breitbart News has reported, Ford Motor Company and China’s Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. (CATL) are proposing a $3.5 billion electric vehicle battery plant in Marshall, Michigan.

CATL is China’s premier electric vehicle battery supplier. CATL CEO Zeng Yuqun is a member of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) National Committee — a high-ranking CCP advisory body that serves as a central component of the party’s “United Front” efforts.

China’s “United Front” efforts, as the federal government has detailed, are considered to be a front for CCP intelligence operations overseas.

Like the Gotion project, the Ford-CATL joint venture is getting hundreds of millions from Michigan taxpayers and is likely to win possibly billions in federal tax credits, also funded by taxpayers.

Since Biden’s inauguration, the University of Pennsylvania has disclosed at least $14 million in donations from China or Hong Kong, the Free Beacon reported last week. The names of these donors have yet to be disclosed by the Department of Education, breaking the precedent of prior administrations which published foreign donor names in a public database.

Almost three years later, the media and other Democrats are still burying the story of massive Biden family corruption, no matter how much proof they are shown.

And they never ceased promoting the biggest lie of all, which is that the Obama administration was scandal-free because no one went to jail.  That's called skating in the real world.

Under Pressure, Pentagon Restricts  Program That Allows

Colleges With CCP Outposts To Receive Taxpayer Funds

Republicans say China could use Confucius Institutes to spy on US military research

August 29, 2023

The Pentagon has placed restrictions on a policy that would have allowed American colleges to receive taxpayer funds while hosting Chinese spy outposts, a decision that follows a congressional pressure campaign and Washington Free Beacon report exposing the funding loophole.

The Defense Department, in an Aug. 15 letter, informed Congress that it has overhauled a waiver program that would have allowed American universities to rake in taxpayer cash while hosting Confucius Institutes, a Chinese Communist Party-backed program that Beijing uses to peddle influence and steal intellectual property from American universities.

Congress in 2021 barred the Pentagon from awarding research projects to any U.S. school that hosts a Confucius Institute, citing concerns the Communist regime would use these outposts to spy on sensitive military research. Chinese spies have infiltrated a number of American schools, with the Justice Department warning earlier in February that up to 60 top colleges are vulnerable to CCP espionage operations. But the Pentagon instituted a waiver program earlier this year to help schools skirt the federal ban, the Free Beacon reported.

Following a Republican pressure campaign, the Pentagon has decided to narrow the waiver program and close loopholes that would have allowed Confucius Institute employees to access information about Defense Department research projects. The Pentagon also disclosed that, after instituting these changes, not a single U.S. school applied for a waiver, though schools can apply at a later date.

"At present, the Department has not granted, nor does the Department expect to grant, any waivers" before the federal funding ban takes effect in October, the Pentagon informed Rep. Jim Banks (R., Ind.), who has been spearheading an investigation into the waiver program.

The Defense Department will also "terminate any existing contracts and grants to any" U.S. institution that hosts a Confucius Institute after the October deadline, according to the letter. The Pentagon says it retains the power to reassess waivers at any time for any reason.

Restrictions have also been placed on Confucius Institute employees. The employees will now have to report all foreign travel for a school to be eligible for the waiver program.

Confucius Institute employees, including those who are also employed by universities, will be restricted from accessing all information and data related to federal research projects under the revised guidance.

The Pentagon said in its letter to Banks that it originally "did not wish to interfere with the conduct of federally funded research by precluding [Confucius Institute] employees who are also employed by the host" school. It altered this carveout, however, "to avoid potential risk."

Lawmakers like Banks had been pressing for both reforms, warning that Confucius Institute employees could access sensitive research and funnel it to the Communist regime.

In an April letter to the Pentagon, Banks accused the Pentagon of "bowing to the wishes of academia and the scientific community to continue their deep ties with China, despite the growing threat of CCP propaganda and espionage."

Sen. Ted Cruz (R., Texas) warned in April that he would "revoke those waivers and hold accountable any officials who issue them" if the Pentagon moved forward with plans to allocate federal funds to any school that hosts a Confucius Institute.

The changes also follow an effort by congressional Republicans in both the House and Senate to cancel the waiver program due to the concerns outlined above.

Banks, in comments to the Free Beacon, lauded the Pentagon's revisions but said the 2023 National Defense Authorization Act should include provisions that would enact an outright ban on the waiver program.

"I'm glad that the Biden administration has agreed to close its multiple loopholes that leave universities vulnerable to Communist Party espionage," Banks said. "However, regardless of any DOD guidance, the final NDAA must eliminate DOD's Confucius Institute waivers entirely. Universities that cozy up to the Chinese Communist Party shouldn't be involved in defense research, period."

'It Was Extraordinary': Government Officials Were Stunned by 'Startling' Spike in Chinese Donations to UPenn After Biden Think Tank Opened   -  BUT THAT'S WHAT IT'S ALL ABOUT! TRAITOR PARASITE LAWYERS GAMING IT!

The former chief investigator for the Department of Education said the agency noticed a "startling" spike in Chinese donations to the University of Pennsylvania after President Joe Biden opened his think tank at the school in 2017.

"It was extraordinary," said Paul Moore, who served as the agency's chief investigative counsel during the Trump administration, in congressional testimony on Thursday. UPenn raked in over $100 million from China-based contributors between 2017 and 2022, the Washington Free Beacon reported earlier this year. This was a substantial increase from the four years prior to 2017, when the school received a total of $19 million.

Moore's testimony comes as UPenn and the Penn Biden Center face scrutiny over the surge in foreign donations, many of them anonymous, that coincided with the think tank's opening and President Joe Biden's election. Watchdog groups have said the funding raises concerns about foreign influence-buying.

UPenn has said that no foreign donations were earmarked for the Penn Biden Center and that the think tank is supported by the school's general budget. But Moore said that foreign contributions to UPenn's general fund could have made their way to the Penn Biden Center indirectly.

"Those funds were co-mingled, and certainly went to the general operations, and may have gone to the Biden Center," he said.

Rep. Jim Banks (R., Ind.) asked Moore if other universities saw similar increases in Chinese funding. Under federal law, schools that receive government support are required to disclose their overseas donations to the Department of Education.

"Not in that time frame. Absolutely not," said Moore, adding that while other schools saw an uptick in China donations, none saw an increase to the same extent as UPenn.

"It was particularly startling to see with UPenn what they had received. That was very notable," he said.

The former Education Department official told the committee that his office declined to investigate the donations because there was no evidence that UPenn was violating any of the agency's laws by accepting the funding.

"Members of Congress wrote to us, urging us to open an investigation," he said. "It would have been a very political thing, inappropriate, frankly, for the office of general counsel."

Several high-profile Biden officials worked at the think tank before joining the administration, including Secretary of State Antony Blinken, who served as the Penn Biden Center's director.

The National Legal and Policy Center, a government watchdog group, has said the donations raise concerns about foreign influence-buying and called on the Department of Education to release the names of the anonymous funders.

"The Department of Education's policy of hiding the identities of foreign entities showering our universities with billions of dollars is promoting a toxic brew of dark money and corruption," Tom Anderson, the director of the center's Government Integrity Project, told the Free Beacon in January.

VP Biden’s Former Assistant: Classified Docs Left Unlocked in Penn Biden Center Closet

Classified documents were transported from then-Vice President Joe Biden’s safekeeping to the Penn Biden Center, where they were kept in an unlocked closet and remained accessible to center employees and potentially others, House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-KY) revealed Tuesday after an interview with Biden’s former assistant, Kathy Chung.

Chung, who current Biden administration officials appear to blame for the mishandling of Biden’s classified documents, told Comer that Biden’s classified documents remained unsecured at the Penn Biden Center for years and remained accessible to her until May 2022.

“This story does not begin in November 2022, as represented by President Biden’s attorney,” Comer said in a statement. “[T]hen-White House Counsel Dana Remus tasked Kathy Chung with retrieving these boxes from the Penn Biden Center as early as May 2022.”

Public records reported by the New York Post suggest that Chinese Communist Party-linked individuals or entities donated at least $54 million between 2014 and 2019 to the Penn Biden Center.

According to a CNN source, the classified documents found at Biden’s “private office” at the center pertain to Iran, the U.K., and Ukraine, where the Biden family conducted business deals.

On Monday, Comer raised concerns about Biden’s classified document scandal in connection with the Biden family business schemes. “We don’t the know the true extent of what he [Joe Biden] has done,” Comer said. “All we know is he had classified documents scattered all over the place dating back to the time as U.S. senator.”

“There is one document in particular that I can tell you from my investigation of Biden family influence peddling that we are very concerned about with respect to the document that Hunter Biden sent to officials at Burisma in Ukraine,” Comer said. “It was a government document. We are concerned that it may have been one of the classified documents.”

Comer’s investigation comes as Chung was hired as Joe Biden’s assistant after a recommendation from Hunter Biden. Chung appears in numerous email threads on Hunter’s “laptop from hell,” including Hunter’s correspondence to Chung about being hired as Joe Biden’s assistant.

According to Legistorm, Chung worked for Joe Biden until January 19, 2017, right before Joe Biden left the vice presidency. However, she told Comer she was tasked by a former White House lawyer to access the documents as recently as May 2022, contradicting statements from Joe Biden’s lawyers about the timeline of events.

The White House has failed to fully explain why Joe Biden’s lawyers were looking through the Penn Biden Center papers on November 2 when the classified documents were discovered.

Notably, the classified document scandal was leaked to CBS News on January 9, weeks after the initial trove was found by Biden’s personal lawyers in November. The establishment media has reported at least three times that Biden and the DOJ agreed to hide the scandal from public view with likely no plans to disclose it.

Joe Biden is currently under investigation by Special Counsel Robert Hur in connection with classified documents found at his Wilmington home and in his office at the Penn Biden Center.

White House Refuses to Say if Hunter Is Peddling Access to Joe Biden

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre refused to say on Monday if Hunter Biden is selling access to President Joe Biden.

During Monday’s White House press conference, Fox News’s Peter Doocy asked Jean-Pierre if the White House is “confident” that Hunter Biden has stopped selling access to Joe Biden.

“We know that from a Hunter Biden associate now that he sold the appearance of access to then-Vice President Biden. Are you confident that he has stopped doing that?” Doocy asked.

“That is a question for Hunter Biden and his representatives,” she replied.

“If somebody is selling the appearance of access to the White House, that is a question for the White House!” Doocy said.

“No, that is, that is your, your — I don’t know — how you’re perceiving that…I’m just not going to get into this. I’m just not,” Jean-Pierre stonewalled.

Hunter Biden’s best friend in business, Devon Archer, told House investigators that Hunter Biden included then-Vice President Joe Biden on speakerphone more than 20 times with business associates to sell “the brand.”

The Biden brand is an “abuse of soft power,” Archer told Tucker Carlson during an interview released on Twitter. “Obviously, the brand of Biden, you know, adds a lot of power when your dad’s vice president.”

“Sometimes it was the call was coming in, and the speaker would go on. So it was [sic] it’s just the president,” Archer said.

“The power to have that access in that conversation — and it’s not in a scheduled conference call — and that’s a part of your family. That’s like the pinnacle of power in D.C.,” Archer added.

Doocy also asked Jean-Pierre to explain what the Biden brand is. “Devon Archer talks about how he and Hunter Biden tried to profit off the Biden brand. What is the Biden brand?” he asked.

“I’m not going to get into it from here. I’m not going to get into it from here. We’re going to move on,” Jean-Pierre replied.

According to a recent Yahoo News/YouGov survey, 73 percent of voters believe Hunter Biden did something illegal, while only ten percent say he did not. Seventeen percent are undecided.

Moreover, 45 percent say Joe Biden received millions from the family business, while just 31 percent of voters do not believe the elaborate payments occurred, a 14-point difference. Twenty-four percent are not sure.

A plurality of voters, 47 percent, also say Joe Biden did something illegal with Hunter Biden. Only 37 percent of voters say he did not. Just 15 percent are unsure.

Peter Schweizer: Biden Criminality a ‘Clear-Cut Case’

The mainstream media reporters are still missing the real story—bribery likely took place during Joe and Hunter Biden’s involvement with Ukrainian energy company Burisma.

Investigative journalist Peter Schweizer is joined by Seamus Bruner on the latest Drill Down podcast, and together they lay out the case, based on their research, that bribery clearly took place: The Biden family was paid in exchange for explicit favors done by then Vice President Joe Biden for a foreign entity.

This is a clear violation of the law. This is criminal conduct that’s occurring. This is a direct bribe. It’s a quid pro quo,” Schweizer says. “The bottom line is, it doesn’t matter if you ever demonstrate that a single penny went to Joe Biden, because bribery can mean paying off your family. If a politician’s family gets paid and the politician performs a service for that, it’s a bribe in the same way. So, to me, this is now a clear-cut case.”

That assertion comes after Seamus Bruner found yet more evidence on Hunter Biden’s laptop. Bruner, Director of Research at the Government Accountability Institute, has been on the Hunter Biden story since 2017 and “may have spent more time on the Hunter Biden laptop computer than Hunter Biden has,” Schweizer quips.

Bruner just unearthed evidence that further establishes the direct connection between Hunter Biden’s being named to the board of directors of Burisma and his father the Vice President threatening to withhold $1 billion in U.S. aid to the Ukrainian government unless it fired the prosecutor who was then investigating Burisma for corruption.

That prosecutor, Viktor Shokin, was indeed fired right before Biden handed over the aid money to Ukraine, as Biden himself bragged about doing at a 2018 foreign policy conference.

This allegation, which amounts to a direct quid pro quo between Joe Biden and the executives of Burisma, has been made before. But the emails found by Bruner establish a direct timeline connection between Burisma pressuring Hunter Biden to earn his $1 million dollar salary to get his father to force the Ukrainian government to call off the investigation of the company’s founder, Mykola Zlochevsky.

In 2014, a revolution in Ukraine deposed its Moscow-serving president Yanukovich. That same year, then President Barack Obama made Joe Biden his “point man” on U.S.-Ukraine policy. At about that time, Biden’s son Hunter gets his deal with Burisma. The company’s founder, Zlochevsky, has been under international investigation and his assets have even been frozen in London.

But an email uncovered by Bruner on Hunter Biden’s laptop now makes it clear that by November 2015, Burisma executives were not happy with Hunter’s work. Burisma executive Vadym Pozharskyi wrote to Hunter Biden, “…the suggested scope of work is largely lacking concrete tangible results that we set out to achieve in the first place.”

Burisma wanted one key “deliverable,” according to the email. They wanted the pressure to be taken off their company and their founder’s frozen assets released.

Vadim Pozharskyi closed the email by stating in no uncertain terms that the “ultimate purpose” was to “close down any cases pursuits against Zlochevsky in Ukraine.”

The message got through., The next month — December 2015 — Hunter Biden, along with business associate and fellow Burisma board member Devon Archer, met with Burisma in Kyiv. As Archer testified this month, Hunter, Zlochevsky, and Pozharskyi “stepped away for a bit” and “called Washington,” when they made their case to Joe Biden that Shokin needed to be fired.

Three months later, Vice President Joe Biden went to Kyiv and demanded the government agree to fire Shokin as a precondition of receiving $1 billion in U.S. loan guarantees. Shokin was fired in April 2016 and the case was closed by the prosecutor who replaced him, Yuriy Lutsenko. In 2018, Joe Biden famously boasted on camera about having done so.

He did what his son’s benefactors told him to do,” said Schweizer. “We even have independent confirmation of this, from a State Department official named George Kent who dealt with Ukraine. Kent told the Senate Oversight committee that in Dec 2015, he was advised by Biden’s staff to avoid mentioning Zlochevsky, and instead recommended to say, “I’m not going to get into naming names or accusing individuals.”

Revelations over the weekend about the collapse of Hunter Biden’s plea deal, in Politico and the New York Times, are not the main story here. The main story remains that Joe Biden and his staff knew of Hunter’s relationship with Burisma and offered official help to them.

Peter Schweizer’s ‘Red-Handed’ Hits #1 on New York Times Bestseller List for 4th Week

1,406Breitbart News

REBECCA MANSOUR

Peter Schweizer’s blockbuster new book Red-Handed: How American Elites Get Rich Helping China Win has landed at number one on the New York Times bestseller list for a fourth week since its release by HarperCollins, after dropping to number two on the list last week.

Schweizer, whose past books have sparked an FBI investigation and exposed congressional insider trading that spearheaded groundbreaking legislation, has called the revelations in Red-Handed the “scariest” of his quarter-century career investigating corruption.

As the book’s subtitle states, Red-Handed exposes the vast complicity of elites – from politicians to diplomats to business, tech, and entertainment tycoons – who have enriched themselves by advancing the interests of China’s communist regime.

Schweizer, who is the president of the nonpartisan Government Accountability Institute (GAI) and a Breitbart News senior contributor, spent over a year conducting the research for Red-Handed with his team of forensic investigators at GAI, combing through a trove of financial and corporate records. The book contains 1,093 endnotes and 81 pages of source material with no off-the-record sources, making it easier for federal law enforcement and U.S. intelligence services to track down the book’s bombshell revelations.

Last month, U.S. House Republicans introduced the “Stop CCP Act” to impose sanctions on Chinese Communist Party (CCP) officials, including Chinese dictator Xi Jinping and his family, Breitbart reported last moth. The legislative proposal comes on the heels of the shocking revelations in Schweizer’s book.

Leaders on Capitol Hill — including Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) and Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) — are also calling for Attorney General Merrick Garland to appoint a special counsel to investigate the revelations in Red-Handed concerning President Joe Biden’s family members’ business dealings with individuals with direct ties to the highest levels of China’s spy apparatus.

The New York Post’s editorial board echoed these calls in an op-ed headlined, “Appoint a special counsel on Hunter Biden—now.”

Breitbart’s coverage of Red-Handed’s revelations include:

· How the Biden family scored some $31 million from five deals in China, all with individuals with direct ties to the highest levels of China’s intelligence apparatus

· How a Chinese global energy company linked to a Chinese intelligence operation sent close to $6 million to Hunter Biden in 2017

· How American elites — including the Silicon Valley Masters of the Universe — purposefully aid the communist regime of China

· How donations from Communist China to the University of Pennsylvania almost tripled after the university established a “Biden Center” in 2017 and gave former Vice President Joe Biden a professorship

· How Hunter Biden planned to share his family’s office space in Washington, DC, with a Chinese intelligence-linked firm that employed a man Hunter described as “the f**king spy chief of China

· How Hunter Biden’s business deals were helpful to the Belt and Road Initiative, which is China’s colonialist scheme for buying influence across the Third World and luring poor nations into taking loans from Chinese banks they can never repay

· How 23 former U.S. senators and congressmen (most of whom are Republican) have lobbied for Chinese military or intelligence-linked companies after leaving office

· How 20 Republicans from the highest levels of our government sold out to China

· How politicians use tepid criticism of China’s human rights abuses as cover to continue doing Beijing’s bidding — a concept the CCP refers to as “big help with a little bad mouth

· How members of the Bush family cashed in on friendship with the Chinese official involved in the Tiananmen Square massacre

· How the husband of Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA), who chaired the Senate Intelligence Committee, was the part owner of a Chinese firm that allegedly sold computers with spyware chips to the U.S. military

· How House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) softened her previous criticism of the Chinese Communist Party as her husband and son scored big business deals in China

· How Pelosi reined in her criticism of the 2008 Beijing Olympics after her family members were involved in business ventures in China that would benefit from the 2008 Games

· How Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has followed in his father Pierre’s footsteps both in assuming high office and in using it to further the interests of the Chinese Communist Party

· How a CCP regime-linked company promoted Justin Trudeau’s entry into politics by publishing a Chinese language edition of Pierre Trudeau’s travelogue through Maoist China during the Cultural Revolution

· How Wall Street titan Steve Schwarzman of Blackstone launched a $100 million global education scholarship program for Americans and other students studying in China to inculcate the superiority of Chinese communism

· How Antony Blinken helped American universities “navigate problems” of legally balancing their Pentagon contracts while still accepting Chinese funding of dubious origin, and how he encouraged the U.S. government to deny political asylum to a high profile Chinese Communist Party defector who could have been a priceless intelligence asset for the United States

· How American universities have often not complied with federal laws when it comes to accepting donations linked to the Chinese Communist Party

Schweizer’s track record investigating both Republicans and Democrats is well-established, winning him a unique mix of bipartisan praise for his investigative work from both the left and the right. After the release of Schweizer’s bestselling Clinton Cash, liberal columnist Eleanor Clift called Schweizer “an equal-opportunity investigator, snaring Republicans as well as Democrats.” Clift added: “It’s a mistake for the Clinton campaign to write off conservative author Peter Schweizer as a right-wing hack. It won’t work, and it’s not true.” Similarly, Harvard Law School Professor Lawrence Lessing wrote that “on any fair reading, the pattern of behavior that Schweizer has charged is corruption.”

Schweizer is also the author of Throw Them All Out, which, according to left-leaning Slate, was “the book that started the STOCK Act stampede.” The bipartisan STOCK Act (Stop Trading on Congressional Knowledge) banned insider trading by members of Congress and was signed into law by President Barack Obama on April 4, 2012. The legislation received overwhelming support from both parties. One of the main figures featured in Schweizer’s Throw Them All Out, then-chairman of the House Financial Services Committee Spencer Bachus (R-AL), announced he would not seek reelection after the book’s reporting. CBS’s 60 Minutes did an investigative report on Schweizer’s revelations that won them the Joan Shorenstein Barone Award for excellence in Washington-based journalism.

As Glenn Bunting of the Los Angeles Times reported in 1997, Feinstein’s husband Richard Blum “has expanded his private business interests in China – to the point that his firm is now a prominent investor inside the communist nation.” In 1995, Dianne Feinstein became a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, “giving her a prominent platform for her efforts to support China’s trade privileges.”

As Ben Weingarten noted in the Federalist in 2018, Feinstein’s husband has “profited handsomely from the greatly expanded China trade she supported.” The senator also “served as a key intermediary between China and the U.S. government, while serving on committees whose work would be of keen interest to the PRC.”

For 20 years, through three election cycles, Feinstein maintained on her staff a Chinese spy who would even attend consular functions for the California Democrat. One wonders what the FBI knew, when they knew it, and what they did about it, if anything.

Other politicians with China business connections include Mitch McConnell and Nancy Pelosi, whose husband has conducted a series of deals in the Communist nation. Recall that Speaker Pelosi kept Eric Swalwell on the House Intelligence Committee even after his “PoonFang” liaisons with a Chinese spy  (FEINSTEIN LONG EMPLOYED A CHINESE SPY).

White Flag Supremacy

Biden’s signals of surrender.

“I cannot for the life of me understand some of the capabilities that they’re putting in the field, unless it is an aggressive posture.” That was Admiral Philip Davidson, head of Indo-Pacific command, in recent testimony to the Senate Armed Services Committee. “They” was a reference to China, and as Fox News headlined the story, “US losing military edge in Asia as China looks like it is planning for war.”

If embattled Americans wonder how Joe Biden might respond, they might start with the man who orchestrated the move to put vice president Biden at the head of China policy. That would be Tom Donilon, a longtime Democrat activist and adviser to Biden’s first presidential campaign in 1988. In 2010, Donilon’s selection for National Security Advisor troubled Robert Scheer of The Nation.

“Why in the world would President Obama, whose legacy has been sabotaged by a housing crisis that Donilon helped create and conceal, have hired him to run the most sensitive position of public trust in his administration?” As the president so often demonstrated, Scheer wrote, “it’s the top hustlers of whom he seems enamored.”

Donilon never served in the military, but as Robert Gates noted in Duty: Memoirs of a Secretary of State at War, Donilon blasted the United States military as “in revolt” and “insubordinate.” Donilon also “bridled” when Gen. McChrystal announced a counterinsurgency strategy in Afghanistan. Gates found that stance rather troubling.

“Troops riskintheir lives need to be told that their goal is to ‘defeat’ those trying to kill them,” he explains in Duty. “But such terms were viewed in the White House as borderline insubordinate political statements by generals.”  So for Biden’s China mentor, and his White House boss, American troops were not to defeat their enemies and win their conflicts.

Joe Biden never served in the military, and as Gates noted, Biden had been on the wrong side of nearly every foreign policy issue over the past 40 years. Biden opposed the raid on Osama bin Laden and with Iran the vice president’s first move was to wave the white flag.

In 2016, four Iranian gunboats captured 10 U.S. Navy sailors, who “surrendered rather than opening fire.” Vice president Biden told CBS News, “there was no looking for any apology. This was just standard nautical practice.” It wasn’t “standard practice” to send planeloads of cash to Iran’s “death to America” Islamic regime, but the vice president had no problem with it.

Biden claimed to agree with the hit on Islamic state terrorist al-Baghdadi, but said it happened despite President Trump’s “ineptitude” as commander-in-chief. In January of 2020, when Trump took out Iranian general Qassem Soleimani, Biden blasted Trump as a liar and said the strike “takes us a heck of a lot closer to war.”

During the 2020 campaign Biden said the Chinese Communists were “not bad folks,” and “not competition for us.” In January of 2020, when President Trump shut down travel from China, Biden called the move “xenophobic fear-mongering.” In 2021, Biden proclaims  “I’m not going to speak out” against Chinese concentration camps or Chinese aggression in Taiwan and Hong Kong. For Joe Biden, China’s genocidal Communist regime operates under “different norms.” That surely pleases Xi Jinping, as he surveys the correlation of forces.

The United States has troops in Afghanistan but does not deploy the military to protect its own southern border, which Joe Biden has proclaimed open to all comers. American sailors surrendered to Iran, and Joe Biden approved. The FBI and America’s vaunted “intelligence community” failed to protect the nation against the 9/11 attacks, on the scale of Pearl Harbor, but this same community deployed in force against Donald Trump, Joe Biden’s 2020 opponent. Indeed, his administration regards people who voted for Trump as the primary threat to the United States.

When the primary threat was the Soviet Union, the United States never allowed the USSR to manufacture products for the American market, in the style of current deals with China. President Ronald Reagan, did serve in the U.S. military, during wartime, and had no relatives with lucrative business deals in Moscow. Reagan called the USSR an “evil empire,” and challenged Gorbachev to “tear down this wall.”

Joe Biden has never denounced a Chinese Communist regime that murdered more 60 million people, according to the Black Book of Communism. Even after the Tiananmen Square massacre, Sen. Biden wanted China in the World Trade Organization, without any accounting for genocide and with no democratic reforms. As vice president, Biden deployed his son Hunter to cultivate lucrative deals with Chinese companies.

Joe Biden is now the figurehead for term three of the “composite character” president David Garrow described in Rising Star: The Making of Barack Obama. He was known for “leading from behind,” and the addled Biden even fails that absurdity. He’s already waved the white flag with Islamic terrorism and would doubtless do the same with Communist China, now preparing for war according to Admiral Davidson.

Rep.: ‘Swalwell Couldn't Get Clearance to be a Mall Security Guard,’ But Pelosi Puts Him on Top Security Panels

Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-Calif.) “is privy to some of our nation’s most classified secrets,” even though he “couldn’t get clearance to be a mall security guard,” Rep. Vern Buchanan (R-Fla.) says.

“Only in Washington,” Rep. Buchanan tweeted, noting that House Speaker Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) appointed Swalwell to Congress’ top national security panels, even though there is a push to remove him from such committees due to his recently-revealed previous ties to a Chinese spy:

“Shockingly, Speaker Pelosi just reappointed Swalwell to the Intelligence Committee and, get this, also put him on the Homeland Security Committee. Swalwell couldn't get clearance to be a mall security guard yet he is on the two most important national security panels in Congress? Only in Washington.”

Rep. Buchanan called it the “definition of irony” that Swalwell would invoke “McCarthyism” to ward off criticism of his participation in the committees:

“Definition of irony: Partisan Democrat Rep. Eric Swalwell, who promoted the Russian collusion hoax for years, is now squealing that he is the victim of ‘McCarthyism.’

“An effort is underway in the U.S. House to remove Swalwell from the Intelligence Committee, which is privy to some of our nation's most classified secrets. Why? Because it was learned recently that he was cavorting with a Chinese spy.”

As CNSNews.com reported last December, it was revealed that Swalwell had been targeted by an attractive woman as part of a Chinese influence operation. She met Swalwell in 2011 when he was an up-and-coming city councilman. She bundled cash for his congressional campaign – he was first elected to the House in 2012 -- and even helped place an intern in Swalwell's congressional office.

"Well, I don't have any concern about Mr. Swalwell," Pelosi said at the time, reacting to the news.

In First Big China Test, Team Biden Got Rolled...And It's Painful to Watch

Team Biden had their first big foreign policy test with China—and they failed. There’s no way to spin it. Even the liberal media is saying the whole meeting in Alaska devolved into anarchy. This meeting is supposedly the one that will determine if President Depends is going to meet with Xi Jinping. By how things turned out, I don’t think we should even consider it. Why embarrass the United States even more? Secretary of State Tony Blinken just exposed how weak we are in dealing with China. They know it. We got trashed on our own soil and from the looks of it, we didn’t really respond in any way, shape, or form. We got rolled in front of the cameras (via Daily Beast):

In his opening remarks, Blinken reportedly criticized China for its treatment of Uyghur minorities, its cyber attacks against the U.S., and its tight grasp on Hong Kong.

According to Bloomberg reporter Jennifer Jacobs, Jiechi responded by saying that the U.S. is the “champion” of cyber attacks, that it has a “deeply-rooted human rights problem”—including its history of killing Black people—and that the country doesn’t represent “global public opinion.”

The Alaska talks were to be a deciding factor on whether U.S. President Joe Biden and Chinese President Xi Jinping will be meeting next month, according to earlier reporting by Bloomberg. The fiery exchange on Thursday may have put the prospects of that meeting into question.

?? Frosty opening to Biden delegation mtg with China. US is the champion of cyber attacks, doesn't represent global public opinion, and has history of killing blacks, Yang Jiechi tells @JakeSullivan46 and @SecBlinken. Yang says their opening remarks weren’t normal; mine neither.

This first US-China meeting already off to a fiery start. After both sides give opening remarks, where China blasts US for a #of things including recent HK sanctions, @SecBlinken tells the cameras, which are leaving, to stay. Says he has more to add before they get down to work.

China goes on an 18 minute tirade a against the United States & @JakeSullivan46 response is "Yea well like that's just your opinion man."

— Stephen L. Miller (@redsteeze) March 19, 2021

Here is why this meeting is so bad for Biden admin planning staff. You either:
A. Didn't plan out the meeting, expectations, post meeting statements, deliverables

OR

B. You got totally played by the Chinese side, and this is a very common tactic, meaning you were very naive

— 2022 Olympian Balding ??? (@BaldingsWorld) March 19, 2021

The final insult was when top Chinese diplomat Yang Jiechi said, “So, let me say here that in front of the Chinese side, the United States does not have the qualifications to say that it wants to speak to China from a position of strength.” It’s all in the clips, a rather ignominious ‘watch until the end’ footnote regarding that exercise.

China knows Biden is weak. They know we’re weak. And they came barreling through the line of scrimmage like Brandon Jacobs. This is the basement ambush in Donnie Brasco. It’s a bloody mess.

Joe will eventually meet with Jinping at some point, but Beijing is bound to go in for the kill when Biden forgets where he is during whatever conversation these two men will have. It’s only a matter of time. Then again, since Joe is a

Reports: Xi Jinping to Skip India-Hosted G-20 Summit After Publishing ‘China’ Map Stealing Indian Land

Multiple news outlets reported on Thursday that genocidal Chinese dictator Xi Jinping is planning not to attend the G-20 leaders’ summit in New Delhi, India, on September 9.

Reuters and the Agence France-Presse (AFP) both claimed to speak to anonymous Indian officials who confirmed that the country is not expecting the Communist Party chief to visit in the near future. Chinese Premier Li Qiang will attend the summit instead, according to Reuters.

Reuters cited two sources within the Indian government in a report on Thursday stating that New Delhi does not expect Xi to be present for the summit. The alleged officials claimed they were planning for Premier Li Qiang to be present, but Beijing never gave a reason for Xi’s absence. AFP published a similar report but cited a European Union official. The European Union, as a whole, is one of the 20 members of the G-20.

The Chinese Foreign Ministry has neither confirmed nor denied the reports at press time regarding Xi’s attendance at the event. Indian media reported on Friday that Xi is believed to be the only leader invited to the event not to have given India the courtesy of an RSVP with a week to go before the summit. The only two leaders known to have declined the invitation are leftists Andrés Manuel López Obrador of Mexico and Vladimir Putin of Russia. Far-left American President Joe Biden is expected to attend, as is conservative Japanese Foreign Minister Kishida Fumio, leftist Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, socialist convicted felon President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva of Brazil, and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, among others.

Hosting the G-20 Summit, which brings together the leaders of the world’s largest economies, is considered a prestigious privilege, one that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expecting to use to advertise India as a foreign investment paradise and lure major global corporations to expand operations in the country.

By snubbing the summit, if reports are true, Xi would effectively be issuing a vote of no confidence for India’s presidency of the organization, straining already difficult relations between the two countries. Xi has attended every G-20 summit that has occurred since he became his nation’s dictator in 2013, with the exception of the 2021 summit in Rome as a result of the Wuhan coronavirus pandemic. Especially given that Xi visited South Africa less than a month before the New Delhi summit is scheduled to occur, there is no overt reason for his absence the way that there was at the height of the pandemic.

While India and China retain diplomatic ties — Xi and Modi met in person in August during the BRICS summit in South Africa — China dramatically escalated tensions this week by publishing a new “standard” map of China, including large pieces of the sovereign territory of India, outraging the nation’s External Affairs Ministry.

India and China have engaged in several military battles on their mutual borders in the past half-decade, most notoriously the Galwan Valley battle in which Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) soldiers attacked Indian border troops within Indian territory. An estimated 20 Indian and 40 Chinese soldiers died in the bloody exchange despite neither side wielding firearms.

Addressing the rumors that Xi would skip the summit, Foreign Policy described the reported move as a way to both undermine the G-20 as a powerful economic bloc — particularly compared to the expanding BRICS coalition — and to “undermine New Delhi’s efforts to establish itself as a global leader.”

BRICS is a coalition composed of Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa — the countries that give it its name — but it recently approved applications for six new members: Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Iran, Argentina, Egypt, and Ethiopia. The BRICS countries focused heavily during their summit in August on economic developments, attempting to divorce their economies from the U.S. dollar and establish a “development bank” to rival the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank. BRICS, in many ways, is an alternative to the G-20, even though all five of the original BRICS countries and two of the newly approved members are in the G-20.

New Delhi’s “efforts to establish itself as a global leader” have been transparently directed at enticing foreign business in China to abandon that economy for India’s. Modi launched an initiative in 2014 known as “Make in India” designed to attract foreign companies to manufacture in the country, often seeking to encourage them to shut down operations in China. In the aftermath of the Wuhan coronavirus pandemic — when China shut down entire cities and forced thousands into oppressive and unsanitary quarantine camps — India successfully attracted deals to build factories and other facilities for major tech companies Apple and Foxconn. Walmart, meanwhile, tripled imports from India, at China’s expense, in 2020.

Territorial disputes add to the already simmering tensions arising from economic competition. On Wednesday, China’s National Resources Ministry published the 2023 edition of the “standard map” of China, which observers noted included slices of territory far from China’s borders belonging to India, Vietnam, and the Philippines, among others. The entire sovereign nation of Taiwan appeared on the map as part of China.

2023 China Standard Map (China Ministry of Natural Resources)

India’s state of Arunachal Pradesh and other parts of Himalayan northern India appeared on the map as “Zangnan,” or “south Tibet.” China regularly and illegally claims northern India as its own.

“This is not the first time China has made such an attempt. We reject this outright,” External Affairs Ministry spokesman Arindam Bagchi said on Tuesday. “Arunachal Pradesh is, has been, and will always be an integral and inalienable part of India. Attempts to assign invented names will not alter this reality.”

External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar dismissed the map as “absurd” and called it an “old habit” of the communists’ to falsely claim Indian land.

“Putting out maps with parts in India doesn’t change anything. Our government is very clear about territory. Making absurd claims does not make other people’s territories yours,” Jaishankar said.
