Mexican Border City Flooded with Soldiers — Cartel Boss’ Arrest Raises Violence Concerns
Mexican military forces flooded into the city of Matamoros, Tamaulipas, and began patrolling the region in an attempt to diffuse any potential violence. The move comes days after the arrest of a top leader with the Gulf Cartel.
Despite the show of force, the military presence is not expected to have any real impact since the Mexican Army has largely avoided fighting with the Gulf Cartel — leaving most of the fighting to state police forces.
Since the weekend, airplanes carrying hundreds of troops arrived at the Matamoros airport. Government officials told Breitbart Texas the troops would be in the city for 15 to 30 days, carrying out patrols in the border region to ensure public safety.
The mobilization of military troops comes just days after, as Breitbart Texas reported, authorities in the neighboring state of Nuevo Leon arrested Juan Alberto “La Kena” Garcia Vilano, a Gulf Cartel leader who controlled the city of Matamoros. The arrest took place in Nuevo Leon where La Kena was visiting a luxury shopping center. La Kena has been singled out as one of the men ultimately responsible for most of the violence taking place in northern Tamaulipas. Due to government connections and widespread corruption in Mexico, he managed to avoid facing consequences.
As Breitbart Texas has reported, military forces and Mexican federal police forces have not played a significant role in fighting drug cartels in Tamaulipas. The brunt of that fight has been shouldered by the state police forces and agents with the Tamaulipas Attorney General’s Office.
While Matamoros has avoided any large-scale shootouts within the city, as Breitbart Texas reported, in the city of Rio Bravo Gulf, Cartel gunmen have killed innocent bystanders in unprovoked attacks.

BORDER SHOWDOWN: Texas Defies Feds — ‘We Will Continue to Deploy Razor Wire’
The Texas Military Department says it will continue to “hold the line in Shelby Park” in their efforts to “deter and prevent unlawful entry into the State of Texas.” Under Operation Lone Star orders from Governor Greg Abbott, the Texas National Guard’s actions continue despite a second demand letter from the Department of Homeland Security to release control of the park seized by the State earlier this month. Governor Abbott pledged to continue deploying razor wire along the Rio Grande border with Mexico.
“We remain resolute in our actions to secure our border, preserve the rule of law, and protect the sovereignty of our State,” TMD officials wrote in a post on X.
Shortly after DHS officials issued a second letter to Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton demanding accesses to Shelby Park in Eagle Pass, Texas, a defiant Governor Abbott posted, “We will continue to deploy this razor wire to repel illegal immigration.”

On Monday, the U.S. Supreme Court reversed a Temporary Restraining Order by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit effectively allowing U.S. Border Patrol agents to cut or remove razor wire installed by the Texas Military Department along the banks of the Rio Grande. Shortly after, Governor Abbott announced, “This is not over. Texas’ razor wire is an effective deterrent to the illegal crossings Biden encourages.”
CBS News’ Camilo Montoya-Galvez posted a video from Shelby Park on Tuesday showing Guardsmen continuing to construct additional fencing and razor wire.

CBO: Biden Admin Has Released 6.2 Million Illegal Migrants into U.S. in 3 Years, Often Through ‘Parole’ Loophole
President Joe Biden’s deputies have let 6.2 million illegal migrants into the United States, according to the Congressional Budget Office (CBO).
Biden’s southern inflow is more than one migrant for every two American births since January 2021.
“More of those people are also being released into the United States than previously, generally through the use of parole authority or with a notice to appear before an immigration judge,” said the report, titled “The Demographic Outlook: 2014 to 2054.”
The 2023 inflow included 900,000 migrants who were released after they walked up to official border gates plus 1.1 million migrants who were released after they crossed through gaps in the border wall, said the CBO agency, which acts as an advisor to Capitol Hill legislators.
Roughly half of those migrants — 1.1 million — were let into the country by October 1, via Biden’s use of the “parole” loophole in border law, the CBO reported. Biden and his Democrat allies are now trying to expand the parole doorway.

The 2023 inflow also included 860,000 “gotaways” who sneaked past Biden’s half-built and lightly guarded border wall and 430,000 people who remained in the United States long after their visas had expired.
The figure is close to the partial data released by the Department of Homeland Security in early January.
The CBO data does not include hundreds of thousands of migrants released since October 1.
The report noted that “CBO estimates that, on net, the number of people immigrating to the United States was 1.2 million in 2021 and 2.7 million in 2022.”
So Biden’s three years of inflows — 1.2 million, 2.7 million, and 3.3 million — up to October — add up to 6.2 million illegal migrants.
This massive migrant inflow has helped to flatline Americans’ wages and spike the cost of housing, making it more difficult for American families to have many children.
The CBO report noted that Americans’ “projected total fertility rate [fell] from 1.75 to 1.70 births per woman” in 2023.
In Canada, the same causes and effects have sharply reduced the Canadian birth rate.
Polls show that Biden’s inflow is very unpopular and may prevent his reelection.
The CBO report did not discuss the legal inflow of foreign visitors who illegally take jobs for several months before returning home. This B-1/B-2 visa fraud is rarely mentioned by U.S. officials.
The CBO report also estimated that Biden will import an additional 3.3 million illegal migrants in 2024.
The report does not give a number for the inflow of legal immigrants. But a chart shows that number dipped to roughly 500,000 amid the coronavirus disaster. The CBO predicted — without evidence — that the migrant inflow will drop rapidly after 2024.
The chart suggests that Biden added 2.25 million legal immigrants during his first three years.
Legal immigrants are people who get Green Cards or citizenship.
The 2.25 million legal immigrants pushed the total migrant inflow up to 8.5 million, or almost one migrant for each of the 10 million U.S. births during the three years.
The CBO report does not give a number for the inflow of foreign contract workers. However, Biden’s deputies have sharply raised that inflow from about 600,000 in 2020 up to one million in 2022.
The data suggests that Biden’s deputies have imported roughly 2.6 million visa workers. These temporary workers arrive via the H-2A, J-1, and H-2B programs for blue-collar labor, and the H-1B, J-1, OPT, H4EAD, L-1, O-1, and TN programs for white-collar professionals.
Overall, Biden’s deputies keep a revolving population of roughly 500,000 foreign workers in seasonal jobs, plus 1.5 million foreign graduates in the jobs needed by U.S. professionals, mostly in Fortune 500 companies and their subcontractors.
If those two revolving populations of foreign workers are added up to two million, then Biden’s immigration chief has imported a total of 10.5 million foreign migrants.
The total inflow adds up to one migrant for every American birth in the first three years of his tenure.
Extraction Migration
Since at least 1990, the federal government has relied on extraction migration to grow the economy after allowing investors to move the high-wage manufacturing sector to lower-wage countries.
The migration policy extracts vast amounts of human resources from needy countries. The additional workers, consumers, and renters push up stock values by shrinking Americans’ wages, subsidizing low-productivity companies, boosting rents, and spiking real estate prices.
The economic policy has pushed many native-born Americans out of careers in a wide variety of business sectors, reduced native-born Americans’ productivity and political clout, reduced high-tech innovation, crippled civic solidarity, and allowed government officials to ignore the rising death rate and falling birth rate of poor Americans.

The policy also sucks jobs and wealth from heartland states by subsidizing coastal investors and government agencies with a flood of low-wage workers, high-occupancy renters, and government-aided consumers.
The colonialism-like policy has also killed many thousands of migrants, including many on the taxpayer-funded jungle trail through the Darien Gap in Panama.

‘Pawn Stars’ Rick Harrison Reveals Son Died of Fentanyl Overdose, Blames Border Crisis
Rick Harrison, one of the chief talents on Pawn Stars, revealed that his 39-year-old son, Adam, died from a fentanyl overdose that he blames on the border crisis.
Rick confirmed Adam died of a fentanyl overdose in a statement to Fox News.
“Yes, I can confirm Adam died from a fentanyl overdose,” Rick said. “The fentanyl crisis in this country must be taken more seriously. It seems it is just flowing over the borders and nothing is being done about it. We must do better.”
Adam never made an appearance on Pawn Stars but he did work at the Gold & Silver Pawn before the reality show catapulted to success in 2009.
The fentanyl crisis, much of which comes from the southern border, has swelled to epidemic levels in recent years as the border continues to remain open. Last year, for instance, San Francisco had its deadliest year on record from overdose deaths due to the rise in fentanyl. Per The Guardian:
In the first nine months of 2023, the northern California city saw 692 people die of overdoses, more than in the entire year of 2022, according to new data reported by the city’s medical examiner. The city is on track to see more than 800 deaths this year, topping its highest year ever, 2020, when it saw 720.
August was the deadliest month on record – with an overdose death every nine hours.
The deaths in San Francisco come despite a blitzkrieg of policies aimed at stemming the crisis. And experts warn that a new and troubling trend is emerging: more and more victims are found to have consumed both fentanyl and methamphetamine.
In December, Arizona candidate for the U.S. Senate Kari Lake (R) said during an interview with Breitbart News that fentanyl coming up through the southern border is a “weapon of mass destruction.”
“I met one mother who said, ‘My daughter took half of what she thought was a Xanax pill and was dead.’ A half of any pill should not kill you. It’s enough to kill you, and we’ve got to wake up. Finally, the Democrats are at least starting to say the word, but they’re part of the problem,” she stated.

44% of Dem Voters Say Biden Has Worked to ‘Systematically Undermine’ U.S. Border Security
More than four in ten Democrat voters say Pres. Joe Biden has “worked to systematically undermine America’s border security” – yet, more than half of them say he’s doing either a “good” or “excellent” job of handling immigration, a new Rasmussen survey reveals.
The national survey of U.S. likely voters asked respondents if they agreed or disagreed with the following statement:
"Since his first day in office, President Biden has worked to systematically undermine America’s border security. ... The result is a humanitarian and national security catastrophe"?
Fifty-eight percent (58%) of all U.S. likely voters agree that Biden has created a “humanitarian and national security crisis” by systematically working to undermine the nation’s border security, including 44% who “strongly agree” that he’s done so.
Surprisingly, fully 44% of Democrat voters at least somewhat agree that Biden has created a “humanitarian and national security crisis” by systematically working to undermine the nation’s border security, with 22% “strongly” agreeing.
Nonetheless, 53% of Democrat voters rate “the way President Biden is handling issues related to immigration” as either “good” (33%) or “excellent” (20%). And, 80% say they trust their own party more than the Republican Party to handle immigration.
Among all voters, however, 52% rate Biden’s handling of immigration “poor,” including 79% of Republicans and 63% of unaffiliated voters, while just 30% rate Biden positively. Likewise, 50% of all voters trust the Republican Party more than the Democrat Party (38%) to manage the immigration situation. Another 11% aren’t sure which party they trust more.
Unaffiliated voters favor Republicans by an even wider margin, as more than twice as many (54%) say they trust Republicans as say they trust Democrats (54%-23%). Another 23% of unaffiliated voters aren’t sure which party to trust to handle immigration.

‘Their’ Democracy: Tyranny Comes to the US
Spanning across generations, Americans have done extraordinary things during uncertain times. My father’s genealogy is rich with such memoirs. My great (x6) grandfather was a colonel in the Berkshire Milita during the Revolutionary War. My great (x5) grandmother was part of the runaway scrape when the Alamo fell. During the Civil War, my great, great grandfather fought for the Union in the Ohio Infantry, 81st Regiment. My grandfather’s long service in the Army included WWII, and my father completed over 20 years in the Army. Perhaps the remnants of their DNA combined with growing up on military bases contributed to my deep commitment to our Constitution, our heritage, and the people who sacrificed so much.
Consequently, I am angered that Americans are being conditioned to loathe our shared history and the very people who made our modern country possible. Even our founding documents have been labeled potentially harmful. Make no mistake: these actions are happening because of unscrupulous politicians, bureaucrats, and others who are intentionally destroying our nation’s heritage to obtain greater power, control, and wealth.
In place of the constitutional republic gifted to us by our founders, these charlatans promote “their” democracy. Even though our founders rejected direct democracy because it leads to tyranny through mob rule, our elites have managed to convince Americans otherwise. As a result, in pursuit of their democracy, our political class has amassed unsustainable national debt and created an enormous welfare state. While declaring unity, our democracy cheerleaders encourage racial animosity. One way is by falsely claiming white supremacy as our country’s greatest threat. To combat their perceived scourge of heritage America, they forced DIE and other race-based initiatives. They supported violent aggression by BLM and ANTIFA while vigorously pursuing and prosecuting Trump-supporters. At the same time, they hid evidence of J6 defendants’ innocence and conspired to persecute their political rivals. They improperly used government agencies to monitor Catholic churches and parental groups. They used federal money to coerce social media to inhibit free speech and abused their government positions to intimidate much of the public into taking an experimental injection. They justified their unconstitutional actions under the banner of promoting their democracy. Furthermore, in defending their democracy, they weaponized government by asserting national security.
Their democracy has also advanced the invasion taking place at our southern border. In F.Y. 2023, an astonishing 2.5 million illegals, that we know about, illegally gained entry to the U.S. Using various means, the Biden administration enabled the assault. One way was refusing to uphold its constitutional duty to protect states from invasion as required by Article IV, section 4 of the U.S. Constitution and U.S. immigration laws. For example, at Eagle Pass, Texas, the Biden administration directed the U.S. Border Patrol to cut razor wire so that illegals could enter. Absent help from the federal government, and because Article 1, section 10 of the Constitution gives states power to protect themselves if invaded, Texas gave its police authority to arrest illegals. In response, the Biden administration sued Texas for doing the job Biden refuses to do.

Moreover, complex international syndicates use these children to get single adult males through Border Patrol thanks to a Biden policy that puts pressure on border agents to release, within 72 hours of apprehension, “families,” including adult males with young children. Once released into the U.S., these children are smuggled back across the border to be repurposed for further trafficking. Despite these known problems, the Biden administration ended a Trump-era pilot program that did DNA testing of children with adults crossing the border illegally. It was reported that approximately 30 percent of these children were not related to the adults accompanying them.

Because government has been weaponized, even speaking out is risky. Nevertheless, we must not be afraid to counter their lies with facts, particularly among the youth. Most of all, we must not be ashamed of or apologize for our ancestors’ legacy. Rather, in response to their incessant hate of heritage America, put on the full armor of God and emulate Esther of the Bible, who stood firm against a powerful government employee devising evil laws to eliminate his enemies. For such a time as this, we too must hold firm against those that want to replace our constitutional republic with tyranny in the guise of “their” democracy.

Angel Mom Josephine Dunn ripped into Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas on Thursday, saying he is “partially responsible” for her 26-year-old daughter, Ashley Marie, being poisoned by fentanyl.
During Thursday’s House Homeland Security Committee hearing, Dunn testified to lawmakers about her daughter, Ashley, who died from fentanyl poisoning in May 2021, the day after her son’s fifth birthday.
Mayorkas was invited to testify at the hearing and meet with Dunn as well as Angel Mom Tammy Nobles. On behalf of her 20-year-old daughter Kayla Hamilton, Nobles is suing President Joe Biden’s administration for releasing an illegal alien MS-13 Gang member into the United States, who is charged with murdering and raping Hamilton.

Dunn said Americans deserve to live in a nation “free of fentanyl,” which starts with Mayorkas closing the southern border through fierce enforcement of federal law to prevent drug trafficking as well as illegal immigration.
“My family is broken. My heart is broken, and [Mayorkas] couldn’t even be here to listen to me today,” Dunn said. “Whatever he is doing that is more important than facing me today, I don’t know what that could be. Our country deserves a secure border. Our country deserves to feel safe.”
“We need to close the fentanyl superhighway. We need to close the border,” Dunn said.
Dunn revealed that she was testifying on behalf of her daughter on what would have been her 29th birthday, slamming Mayorkas for not having the decency to face her.
“Today is my daughter’s 29th birthday. I would have rather been home with my poor husband grieving her today,” Dunn said. “I didn’t need to be here today. So whatever he’s doing, I hope it’s more important than that.”
In Biden’s first two years in office, more than 200,000 Americans died from drug overdoses and poisonings — the overwhelming majority of which involved fentanyl. Put another way, drugs and fentanyl have killed 70 times as many Americans in 2021 and 2022 than those who died in the September 11, 2001, Islamic terrorist attacks.
